LoZ ballet sketch dump
My favorite exercise to practice anatomy and stylisation is to draw ballet dancers, and I'll often replace the actual dancers' faces by those of characters I am obsessed with at the moment. Of course I had to try it with OoT Link and Zelda :)
You didn't ask for it but here it is! I'm probably going to make a ton of these :))
I had a thought while drawing, like: ‘Wait. What if LoZ was a ballet??´
And I can’t stop thinking about it so I’ve started sketching ✌🏻

I've been trying to make a little more time to work on traditional art since I'm doing so much digital these days. I've discovered that I really like the combo of pencil and pen - who knew?!
I watched the first episode or two of Princess Tutu (silly title, I know) probably over a decade ago, but was only recently convinced to watch the whole thing. It was charming, ended unexpectedly, and surprisingly (maybe only to me, but still, i didn't expect it) gave me an appreciation of ballet I've never had.
