The Fab Five was the 1991 University of Michigan men's basketball team recruiting class that many consider one of the greatest recruiting classes of all time. The class consisted of Detroit natives Chris Webber (#4) and Jalen Rose (#5), Chicago native Juwan Howard (#25), and two recruits from Texas: Plano's Jimmy King (#24) and Austin's Ray Jackson (#21). The Fab Five were the first team in NCAA history to compete in the championship game with all-freshman starters.

A/n: this is the headcanons of being the hawkins basketball teams favorite girl :)

* When you were a freshman you were friends with the one and only jason carver, the Mr. Perfect and got all the ladies boy but to you he was just your best friend. When he got into junior year though he started to become more and more popular and got into the basketball team, he met new people like patrick, lucas and other people but you would always be his first friend.

* okay onto the protectiveness, they would get so protective if somebody tried to hurt you in any way. Jason and patrick almost hunted down a guy who catcalled you, patrick doesn’t like to fight but when it comes to their “baby sis”, ouu a fight is about to go down.

* you were walking to school one day and saw dustin henderson, you haven’t talked to him before but he seemed nice. You walked up to dustin and started to talk to him, what you didn’t know was that a certain group were sending death glares to dustin. Even lucas, dustin’s friend.

* they would be jealous when they saw you with another boy/girl because they wanted your attention, and when you finally stop talking to them and start walking away they would approach them and ask a million question on what you guys were talking about.

* When you and jason are alone he is so vulnerable and soft, that built up sadness and anger he just confesses to you and lets you help him fix his problem. One time he tried to hide his sadness when his parents yelled at him, he tried brushing it off thinking that you help him with everything and is probably sick of his crying.

* but you proved him wrong, grabbing his face you said this “what’s wrong jas? your not talking to me and i want to help you” “ i’m just annoying you (name) with my consent crying and yelling” he told you truthly “hey, you are not annoying me you trying to fix your problem with me” “yea and i don’t want your help, you help me with everything and i barely do for you” he said tears slowly building up in his blue eyes.

* you help out the boys with practice and just talking to them when they need it, they are very grateful when you just hang out and talk to them like they are not popular. They really appreciate that you care about their relationship life even though you don’t have any yourself (not yet anyway) they can come to you when their partner are mad at them and you always come up the best ways to apologize to them.

 at the end you will always be the basketball team's favourite girl.

Midorima and the dreaded new mascot

A/N I have gained like 2 followers this week and have had so many likes! To thank all of you for the love and support, I'm trying my first drabble! Inspired by Kagami and Nigou, tbh. (If anyone likes it, I might make a part 2. I left the owner's identity vague so if a part 2 comes, I could insert the reader into it if you gals want to as the owner is female. I want the owner to match the pet like Kuroko does with Nigou)

Midorima has loathed cats since childhood. It had started when he was 6, and just began elementary school. He had always been a particular unlucky fellow, and this was a time before he had found out listening to Oh Asa seemed to help. It had been a surprisingly cold day for April’s standards, and he remembered how his father would drive him to school back then. He recalled shivering when he stepped out of the car, and he didn't seemed to be the only one cold. A brown tabby cat seemed to be hiding near the school entrance, huddled together as if in need of warmth. Midorima had stuck his hand out to the cat, wanting to pet the miserable looking creature, but before his hand could even touch the feline, its green-grey cat eyes shot open and Midorima was sporting a large, stinging bloody scratchmark at his left wrist. It ran away as Midorima craddled his wrist, his big green eyes filling with tears as his father, who had still been watching from his car, rushed out of the vehicle and took him to the school where his hand would be bandaged by the infirmary nurse. Thus, he was far from amused when he spotted a cat lurking around Shutoku's gym hall, and even less when Takao picked it up. "Look Shin-Chan! What's this cutie doing here?" The small cat was mewing in protest, but it didn't behaved particularly violent. "I don't know, but it should leave. As in now, nanodayo." "Aww, Shin-Chan. Don't be so cold! What is it anyways?" Takao asked, looking down at the little calico, wondering if it would allow him to peek between its legs. "Probably a she. Calicos are typically female." Miyaji's younger brother, their new captain, spoke up, looking at her with the small smile of an animal person. Midorima, on the other hand, looked at him in utter horror. "Don't tell me you are accepting this beast on the court, no dayo." "Why not Shin-Chan? Seirin has their little guy, why shouldn't we have a fluffy little mascot?" "Because it's a filthy cat! It's gross and it will only hinder us during practise, no dayo! Besides, where did it come from anyways?!" Captain Miyaji's eye was twitching at Midorima's tantrum. "Midorima, we might not know where she comes from, but we are not kicking out a defenseless animal just because you're whining like a five year old, and that is final!" "I'm not whining, nanodayo!"

This went on for a few days, and Midorima had been carrying the biggest versions of the lucky items he could find to practise, hoping she'd go away. But no, she'd be there, during every practise with no one knowing where she came from and went. She had charmed everyone else on the team already, with her large golden-green eyes that seemed to possess some kind of magic. Because she only needed to blink at a person a couple of times, and they'd be completely smitten. It was akin to a beautiful girl batting her eyelashes. To Midorima, she was a monster however. She was way too interested in his lucky items, and he had been forced to touch her and keep her away from his items several times during practise. The worst thing was, everyone seemed more upset at him stalling practise to reprimand the feline, then with the feline's actions. It was when he told her off the first time today, that he could hear their manager gasp. Otsubo's younger sister, who had been sick for almost the entire week, was standing next to him. "Posi! So this is where you've been," she chirped, the cat mewing right back as if to reply. "Posi? So she's yours Tae-Chan?" Takao asked full of surprise. "No. She is my best friend's cat. Posi often sneaks into her school bag and walks around campus until school and our club activities have finished. I suppose Posi missed me when I was sick, considering the three of us always go to school together." Tae explained, the cat happily purring in response. Almost as if to say, "I'm glad you're better."  Tae’s cheeks were surprisingly a bit red though, under Takao’s gaze. Midorima sighed in defeat, the owner was located like he had been hoping for, but it didn't seem to signal the end of Posi's visits. "Tae-san, do you think your friend would mind it if Posi were to be Shutoku's mascot? She's been a really positive influence these past few days, and she's a better threat to Shin-Chan then Kimura's pine apples," the Captain's smug voice filled the court room, and Midorima could only curse the gods as Tae replied, "No, not at all! She'd probably be happy to know Posi found a club of her own to enjoy." Midorima eyed Posi, and he could swear the cat winked at him. With a deep sigh, he returned to practise, Tae's coos and the cat's sweet purring filling the air, and this, is how Shutoku's team finally became complete with a mascot of their own.

Who knows what the future has in store for them. Who’s Posi’s owner? Does Tae have a crush on Takao? If so, does he return it? Will other teams be adopting pet mascots? And if so, what kind of pets? Will Posi and Nigou get along? Only time (and positive feedback) can tell.

I’ve decided I’m going to make some OC’s! The age range is upper high school into college. I’ll probably have a few of them connected in some way and others separate in their “own world.” These OC’s below are connected and all know each other. They go to college together and majority of the guys play basketball on the same team.

GRANT - 19 years old, he/him, gay, goes to college with his boyfriend (Reid). He’s has a stocky type build with lots of muscles 💪. He plays basketball for the school along with Reid, Elliot, Casey, Arden, and Jordan. His position is power forward. He looks pretty intimidating and mean but once you know him he’s a big softie and deeply cares about people openly. He has light brownish hair and blue eyes. He had black glasses but he chooses to wear contacts instead.

REID - 20 years old, he/him, bisexual, goes to college and is studying biotechnology on a part-scholarship. Has a lean build, but sports aren’t his priority. He’s more on the nerdy side, but does play basketball on the team. He’s 6’4 and he plays back-up center position because of his height. He doesn’t show affection very often, and it’s pretty hard for him to open up. He has dirty blond-ish hair and dark brown eyes.

ELLIOT - 20 years old, he/him, straight. His girlfriend is Bella and they have been dating for 7 months. He’s small compared to Reid (at 5’10), but he’s quick and plays point guard on the basketball team. He is very kind and loving, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He has reddish hair and brown eyes.

BELLA - 19 year old, she/her, bisexual. She goes to college with her boyfriend Elliot and is studying to become a Pediatrician (for little kids). She interns at a big doctors office near their college and spends a lot of her day with little kids. She is very kind and open to close friends, but she doesn’t trust easily is is very protective of Elliot. She has long black hair and eyes light green eyes with a slim body type.

CASEY - 21 years old, he/him, bisexual. He plays basketball for the college team and plays shooting guard (sometimes back-up point guard if needed. He is a pretty calm person, with a naturally happy personality, and he doesn’t get mad easily. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes, with freckles spattered across his face. He is on a full ride scholarship from the school for his education and he is studying to become an architect. His girlfriend is Sasha and they have been dating for about 5 months.

SASHA - 20 years old, she/her, straight. She is studying architecture as well, which is how her and Casey met. She is pretty close friends with Bella, because they went to the same high school together and were friends before college. She is the almost the opposite of Casey, with a fiery attitude and temper. She gets mad easily, but she loves her friends and the people around her a lot. She has short choppy blond hair and green eyes, and a silver septum piercing. And she has a curvier body type.

JORDAN - 21 years old, he/him, gay. He plays guard or power forward on the basketball team. He is pretty good friends with everyone on the basketball team, but has a closer friendship with Reid because they are both studying biotechnology. He’s not dating anyone (yet 😏 ahem *Arden* ahem) but is pretty close to (guess who???) Arden. He has a strong build, is about 6’0, and has shaggy brown hair and light blue eyes.

ARDEN - 20 years old, he/him, bisexual. Arden plays post (back-up center) on the basketball team and he’s studying education to become a teacher. He adores kids and works as a student teacher at a nearby school on some days of the week. He is not dating anyone right now either, but is very close to (guess who?) Jordan. He has a taller lean build, at about 6’2, with cropped blond hair and brown eyes.

Ok so these are my OCs for now! They all go to the same college, and some of them are roommates. Here is a list: Sasha and Bella, Jordan and Arden, Elliot and Grant. Casey got a free room all to himself because there was an opening and he has the full ride scholarship. Reid also has a room to himself because of his part-scholarship. They all know of each other and are pretty good friends (especially the guys through basketball)

I’m going to leave it here for now, and I will ofc update any information that I make about them (probs on a different post).
