Dabi's counting on Shoto to intern for him because, come on, he's the adorable baby brother, and Dabi's thinking, "I wanna put this kid in my pocket, he's so cute."

But, oh no, it's Bakugo who fills out the internship papers for pro hero Dabi's agency.

Dabi doesn't hear a lot about the ash-blonde-haired teenager somehow, but once they meet face-to-face, Dabi is truly taken aback at first, seeing how rude and gruff Bakugo is.

Initially, Bakugo is quite displeased upon meeting the eldest Todoroki face-to-face, finding his expectations shattered. He had pictured pro hero Dabi as taller and cooler, but with time, Bakugo gradually becomes fond of him, showing a basic, proper respect.

For Bakugo, interning with pro hero Dabi is the total opposite of interning with Beast Jeanist.

Instead of trying to fix Bakugo, Dabi's all about embracing the chaos. He encourages Bakugo's wild antics because, hey, scandal sells, and Dabi's the master of that game.

The real challenge for Dabi? Teaching Bakugo how to talk to the public. And trust me, public speaking isn't Bakugo's strong suit - never has been.

Dabi, in all his wisdom, throws dating advice at Bakugo, even if he didn't ask for it (because he's not a softie who's settling down, hell no!)

While fighting villains is important, Dabi drills into Bakugo that looking good doing it is equally crucial. Smile, dance, strike a pose – give the people what they want!

Now, if Bakugo becomes pro hero Dabi's sidekick, expect him to take on some of his mentor's flair. Flirty interviews? Check. Arrogant swagger? Double-check. And you bet Bakugo would flex that sweet sidekick salary for the best gear, clothes, tech - basically, the best everything. Because why settle for less when you're the hottest thing in hero-town?

We all know Bakugo has a penchant for spicy food. Somehow, pro hero Dabi inherits this trait after his sidekick.

What Dabi appreciates about Bakugo working for him is the fact that Bakugo is very straightforward.

Dabi is thrilled with Bakugo's performance, and the younger man earns himself a spot in Dabi's Instagram highlights. This section houses some stories featuring that arsonist boy (that's Dabi's nickname for Katsuki)

Dabi asks his trusted gear designer to help improve Bakugo's hero costume, but Bakugo doesn't want to agree because he likes his costume the way it is. The young man ends up not talking to the oldest Todoroki for a day or two. Instead, he just barks at his orders, showing his unhappiness. "Tsk! Yeah, old bastard, I get it!" or "Shut up, and don't tell me what to do, dammit!"

Hm. I wrote this on my discord but wth, lets see if I can put nicely here. The whole "Aizawa sabotages Izu" is a great concept in fics, even more as people need to remember Aizawa is Hori stand in...But in canon, I don't think he did that.

This is not me defending him. Far from it. I would read a fic like that if it meant he is fired. I did a fic like that a few months ago...but can't really see happening in canon.

1) too much work for nothing. Aizawa hiding all the supposed offers from Izu would make others heroes confused as for the lack of response "oh he wants to tarnish Izu's reputation" which again, grear concept for a fic but not in canon. Heroes would go to UA ask about why Izu didnt replies any of their offers and all Izu needs to say "I never received any offer" to all eyes fall on Aizawa.

Also, his beloved got offers PLURAL. Aizawa doesn't need more in life.

2) No one is learning anything in those interships. Beast Jeanist didnt taught shit about bk's quirk, he spoke smth that is pretty damn obvious but bk. (Bc bk is a psicopath) but no need to instructed him about his quirk. Heroes saw Izu break his bones and are off putting by this.

Aizawa helped Shinso...one time and never again. But dont think he helped Shinso with his quirk, rather it was a "you shall be a mini me"

All Might and Palafin: Could've gone with something obvious like Machamp, but a small and weak looking Pokémon that can change into a buff and powerful hero? Who does that sound like? (Plus the pokedex mentions that it never shows it's transformation to other Pokémon)

Endeavor and Emboar: Powerful fire type with a fire beard. Perfect match!

Hawks and Pidgeot: Give the winged hero the first starting bird. And to make things more interesting, his Pidgeot can mega evolve.

Mirko and Lopunny: Both rabbits that can easily kick your ass! Her Lopunny can mega evolve too.

Best Jeanist and Leavanny: The hero that uses thread and cloth fibers to fight. Give him a Pokémon that is known for sewing and making clothes with its silk.

Edgeshot and Kartana: I know it seems cheap to give someone an ultra beast. But a speedy Pokémon based on origami fits Edgeshot so well!

pro hero dynamight had made an entire career on his aggressive approach to opponents, his less-than-savoury interactions with the general public, even his unconventional teamwork techniques ... when he was in a team. he has been credited as one of the fastest to climb the ranks since hawks. he was even being hailed as the next - potential - number one. and with extensive studies under some of the other top heroes, including best jeanist and endeavour, his record was something worth looking at.

and there was one thing to remember about katsuki bakugou : he will never say no to going toe-to-toe with villains. anytime, anywhere.

this situation involved some wreckage of a building, and while the rescue heroes focus on getting people out of the debris, katsuki harnessed his strength against the villains - he is the first point of call in the area, after all. and rightfully so, in the way he moves / people don't even see him as he zips across the field, his explosions the only indication of where he is, his wild taunting the only reprieve between his attacks.

while he knocks down most, he doesn't quite beat the speed of an oncoming attack of light, small intense beams grazing past his cheek and arms and torso ; and while the damage is only a few grazes, he still secures his win. the villain gets a less-than-pleasant blast to the face and a clean knockout.

it's one of his former classmates that direct him to the paramedics on scene, even though he insists his wounds aren't that bad ... [ because they're just a few scrapes, what the hell ? ] ... and that he could walk it off. he pushes his mask up with frustration and sits nearby. his hand brushes some of his fringe out of his eyes while he waits, until he hears a voice cut through all the noise, and crimson lifts to glare at the disruptor.

nothing clicks straight away. for a few moments, he thinks this asshole has the wrong person, or he's a fan trying to make out that they have connections to try and get closer / being as popular as he's gotten, they are tactics he's been wary of, and not many get past the whole known-him-since-childhood phase. katsuki had no real friends back then. well, except -

what was that nickname ? kacchan. kacchan ...

the name invokes memories he could barely recall otherwise ; a green-haired, freckled boy that followed him everywhere. a boy with an indomitable will despite his quirklessness. a boy that was willing to follow katsuki into the belly of the beast until he couldn't anymore, and katsuki promptly forgot about him, moving on in u.a. and getting accustomed to having no shadow anymore.

Take your time to answer this but...on the intership arc...I have some things to say. I will listed it

1) ok so all eyes are on Sports Festival (more than Olympics suuuure) and Izu got, if I'm not wrong, #4 that should be amazing in itself considering he was from no big name family.

2) yet...all heroes saw Izu being "unhinged" and has a quirk that has a severe draw back(I want to inject here: it doesnt make sense for ofa to do this. "There an explanation" sure it has, but the explanation feels off...why not give a timelimit? "Izu you can only use 5% of your quirk for x time for a year as his body is getting used" this could open room to show how creative Izu can be) and no one wants to mentor him...and I ask here: so the point was to showcase your abilities on TV and hope the agencies like you? Winning is secundary)

3) If the whole thing is true...why bk got a mentor? Ah yes Beast Jeanist wanted to help him...why? Why he got a mentor who wants to help him and Izu...is saddle with Nighteye?

4) it makes me think...why make a show if the goal is to impress agencies? Sure could have a way to impress in other hands. I mean yeah the trope "time to combat" and blabla but it feel is unfair to a lot of kids...and if is by design than why ua is consider a good or the best school ever?

5) finally, what anyone learns in those interships? I ask bc Izu only learns to feel worse. Ochako learns one fight moviment (Never forget the panel where she was like "you won't fight quirkless" to Izu) and #girlboss and nothing. Really nothing. Does the intership advance their carrers...when they graduated people will hire them quickly based on their resume?

Its just the intership arc and Sport Festival arc should feel they are united but really arent. Izu didn't got one bc of his performace...he had to ask for one chance ....with creepy.

(AM is the biggest hero and cant ...help Izu intern in a nice place? "Ah but Izu wouldn't want that?" AM is the master and should be doing all on his best to make sure Izu suceed. But he trust on UA, unclear why, and does nothing )

To conclude: what is UA as academy if they do such Sport Festival and only.the fewer are reward by this? Excluding bk bc hori loves him.

You're right that Izuku got 4th place! He tied with Shiozaki, Mina, and Kirishima. It's unfair that they got plenty of internship offers and he only got one. It's weird because it's not like your intern reflects poorly on your agency. They're only there to learn and observe. It's also odd that a flaw in how Izuku uses his quirk is scrutinized, but Bakugou's behavior isn't. After seeing the absolute temper tantrum he threw at the Sports Festival, you would think he wouldn't have gotten so many offers. Izuku can learn how to control his quirk, but Bakugou's rotten attitude is another story.

I agree that winning should be secondary! The Sports Festival contributes to the toxic hero society of MHA. Though the reason that he can only use certain amounts of OFA is because his body can't handle all of it and he couldn't understand how to regulate it. Remember, it holds the strength of all 8 holders, All Might could only use it at 100% with all the muscles he had in his prime. And before that, he immediately understood how to get his body to regulate how much of OFA he was using. He probably wouldn't have been able to use 100% until he was at least 25-30. That's actually why I like that instead of pure strength, Izuku gets the other holders' quirks. It matches him better, I think, especially Blackwhip, Smokescreen, and Float. But them being turned off because he's "unhinged" makes no sense, Endeavor is (or was at the time) the #2 hero.

Well, Izuku got Gran Torino for his internship who was probably the best mentor he could have gotten. I actually like that Bakugou got Best Jeanist because he was the only one who genuinely wanted to correct Bakugou's behavior (even though it should have been more focused on his behavior than his style, but it's more than Aizawa ever did). He seemed to be the only one who actually saw an issue with the way Bakugou acted too.

I'll be honest, I think the only reason that UA is a good school is because of the prestige of their alumni. Namely, All Might and Endeavor. It's easy to be considered the best when the alumni are literally the best in the country. I'm confident most of the top 10 were also UA graduates (it doesn't say for most pros). I'm also pretty sure they get the most funding, they built entire dormitories in like 3 weeks.

I wouldn't say the internships were for nothing. They were only there for like a week(?), but Izuku did learn how to regulate OFA and learned the basis for his movement. That's quite an accomplishment. Uraraka didn't learn a lot, true, but she did learn the gist of the basics. Once you learn that, it's easy to build off of it. Would be nice if we saw her sharpening that skill, but whatever.

◆ H/N wrapped their hands around Best Jeanist waist (Short or not short) and started to compliment like crazy, like, “My pretty boy.” , “My, do you look fine, my sweetheart.” And they’re just! Ugh!!! So sweet and it makes him feel so loved.

◆ Best Jeanist tries his best at flirting and it wasn’t that bad at it! Just a few small compliments like: “My sweet hero.” , “How are you, sweetheart?” JUST A LOT OF PETNAMES, LMAOO!! He’s trying his best, give him some credits!!

They were flirting as they walked along the streets, patrolling the district when they got really juicy with the compliments to the point they’re stopping to make out a bit, Best Jeanist flustering up with the compliments. 

They immediately stopped when they heard a huge crash from afar, looking to see a villain stealing a bunch of food and money, “Why don’t we stop him, how about that, sweetheart?” H/N smirked, Best Jeanist flustered a bright red but brushed it off and nodded, heading to the scene together.

“Really? H/N and Best Jeanist? How lucky am I!!!” The villain cackled, eating all the food he stole and he became more muscular. ‘Eating junk and he’s suddenly buffier? Must be his quirk.’ H/N noticed before slashing a huge scar along their forearm, blood dripping to the ground then all of it collected itself into a huge blob and shaped itself into a blood-formed machete.

The hero immediately dashed towards the villain and easily cut through the villain’s arm, “Ah! What the fuck?! I thought heroes can’t kill?!” The villain yelled, “Who said we can’t hurt them?” H/N chuckled, throwing the machete and catching it by its handle swiftly and dashed back, catching the villain off-caught. The villain was about to attack when H/N left an opening but missed when the hero suddenly disappeared, “Huh?” He said confusingly, looking up to see the hero with a grin and their body up in the air with thin threads holding them up, looking down to see Best Jeanist with his threads around his arms. Best Jeanist swiftly sends one of his threads towards the villain, tangling it around his body.

The villain roared and bursted out of those threads and charged towards the Fiber Hero but he was immediately stopped by a weapon blocking his way. "Not so fast, I don't want my sweetheart to be mashed potato," H/N chuckled as they used their machete to push the villain away. Best Jeanist stood helplessly, his face heated, 'Sweetheart? Why did they have to say that?!' He pondered as his face flooded with crimson red. He quickly brushed it off when he saw H/N crash to the ground, sending his threads in the direction of the villain and catching him in his intertwined web. Quickly standing, H/N ran and sent a strike onto the villain's neck with the machete's blunt side, striking a nerve and knocking him unconscious.

Cheers from the civilians roared the streets, thanking the heroes with cheers and praise. “Phew! That was close, wasn’t it, sweetheart?” H/N smiled towards Best Jeanist, “Please stop calling me that.” Best Jeanist mumbled, H/N tilted their head with confusion but then as if, out of realization, their eyes widened but then smiled a sneaky smirk and hugged Best Jeanist’s hips, “Look at you, all flustered~ You’re so adorable, sweetheart!” H/N chuckled, leaving Best Jeanist with a flustered face.

“I hate you.” Best Jeanist mumbled,

“I love you too, sweetheart.” H/N chuckled, kissing Best Jeanist with a quick kiss before turning back to the civilians and waving back in joy.

What Heroes do you think Class 1-B would best learn from during work studies?

For the sake of this, I'm ignoring Kendo and Tetsutetsu, as I believe their canonical work studies fit them fine, and Monoma, as I already went into depth with him on this topic before.

Gunhead-Shoda, Sen, Hiryu Rin: All three of these boys could benefit a lot from learning Gunhead's Marital Arts, especailly close quarters fighters like Shoda and Sen, but Rin could get some pointers from Gunhead on how to aim and fire off his scales.

Present Mic-Kosei, Bondo, Manga: All three have drawbacks related to their throats and breathing, so it's only natural Present Mic would teach them. Bondo could learn to be less shy, Kosei could learn to be more serious, and Manga could learn how to talk.

Rock Lock-Awase and Yui: I've already talked about how effective these three would be together when all of their Quirks are in play. I'll just say that they could learn a lot from how to best apply their contact based powers from someone like Rock Lock.

Best Jeanist-Reiko and Kamikiri: Kamikiri is mostly here to mellow out like Bakugou, though it be hard to contain him in fibers given all the blades, but Reiko could learn a lot when it comes to focusing on controlling everything around her like Best Jeanist can.

Edgeshot-Setsuna and Kuroiro: These two could take a lot from Edgeshot. Kuroiro may learn how to better hide and maneuver himself with his Quirk while Setsuna could expand on her ability to manipulate her own body and how to dogde as much as possible.

Snipe-Pony: While a part of wanted to do this so the cow girl would work with the cowboy, I think that he could help her in understanding of how to aim and control the horns she makes over longer ranges, letting her use them to snipe people instead of gun them down.

Midnight-Kinoko: Both characters have powers made for area of affects, but can have issues targeting allies. I'm more then confident in saying that Midnight could show her how to better control and influence the spread of her spores to avoid her allies.

Pixie Bob-Ibara: While the two are different enough that there could be a fun dynamic, Pixie Bob's experience in battlefield control and imaginative manipulation would do a lot for Ibara, maybe even teaching her something like the Earth Beasts for Ibara's vines.

Ryukyu-Jurota: Again, tempted to put these two together for the sake of the monstrous nature of their powers, but I think Ryukyu is strong enough to rein Jurota's Quirk in while still helping him control and understand his altered state to best utilize it.

Gang Orca-Juzo: While I really like the idea of their powers interacting, no one shall be safe from the Land Orca, I think that Gang Orca could encourage Juzo to be more aggressive, breaking out of the sneaky, support role he is in and be more proactive.

Shinya was strong- is strong. He’ll be okay.

But he’s injured, fuck, he’s injured… his heart started malfunctioning during the last time loop, Tsunagu had carried him to a medical room and started to rewire it, taking it out to try and steady it as his visor wasn’t showing the correct vitals-

And then.

Then… the loop reset too early. That had never happened. In all their years fixing anomalies in time, space, reality- this had never happened.

Then, he woke up here.

And Shinya was gone.

“Many threads make a strong rope”

“This gala isn’t what you think it is. It is a test of a hero’s skill to organise, plan, strategise, communicate and put others at ease via entertainment.” Hawks paused, looking at the shocked and intrigued expressions in front of him. “Every year, a different hero is chosen to ‘host’ the gala. These are normally heroes who are high in popularity ranking, or whose role in society is largely entertainment and communication with society.”

He looked around for a moment.

“Like Uwabami, for example,” he gestured to the snake hero who was setting up tables at the end of the room, “or, in this case, good ol’ Best Jeanist!”

He pointed towards the fiber hero who, in that very moment, seemed to be stuck to the table cloth that his friend was setting. You could hear a very faint “ah fuck” in the distance as he tried to untangle himself.

‘Ah. Good god man.’

The arena was deafening with the bloodthirsty cries of the people. It was said that the screams of delight and adrenaline-filled exasperation would echo through the city like a call to those not there, drawing them in to watch the downfall of others like beasts surrounding fresh prey.

Inhale…1, 2, 3…exhale…1, 2, 3…

He could hear the booming music growing louder, drowning out the rapid thumping coming from his own chest. ‘Calm. Calm and collected, Tsunagu.’ he reminded himself. Staying calm was essential during a Skyrace. Anything could happen.

Checking the screen above him, he made a mental note of how close it was to the start of the event. It wouldn't be long- oh! Theres the final advertisement….fuck, okay- here it comes, aaaaaannddddd-
