Stop and Think About It.
Jehovah gave Joshua and the people of Israel an assignment. He also gave them a promise in Joshua 6:5. That if they obeyed His commands, He would give them the city of Jericho. They obeyed Jehovah’s assignment for them, and He came through. “Shout, for Jehovah has given you the city.”
Are you waiting for a promise from God to be fulfilled in your life, or simply waiting for God to move? Have you ever thought that maybe he’s waiting on you? God fulfilled the children of Israel’s promise, but they had to make their move first. What was the last assignment God gave you? Go back and complete it. See if God won’t move. He’s already promised us the victory (1 John 5:4-5), but it’s time that we make our move.

The more I think about, the more fucked up it is. But the last time anyone has ever read the Bible from cover to cover in the US, was when slavery was still very much legal. Think about. The Bible taught to enslaved Africans was heavily edited to make sure any thing that remotely mentions reveling against one’s master gone and emphasized submission. So really, Cherry-picking the Bible is the most American thing.

A lot of people love to call individuals from the Torah / Bible / Quran trans but when a trans person is spiritual they’re treated like an alien.
It feels vindictive that you’d wanna use my gender to “piss Christians off” without considering that God loving trannys are real
& brave persecution from both the spiritual & queer communities we try to find family among from the disdain of wider society.

That answer is so cheeky and coy and honest, esp considering it wasn’t for any sort of publicity— he actually means it. Absolutely precious, my man is down bad
@cloud-based-and-rainpilled I thought exactly the same thing, re: cheeky, coy, and honest. All of those are what made me love his answer so much, and also that this wasn't a TV interview, or an instance of Michael promoting anything. It was him just talking to a fan (again, much in the same way as he used to on Twitter) and being fully honest.
As I had said in my previous post, the "coy" part is what really gets me, too. I actually really love that he didn't lay everything out on the table. Michael didn't say "It was just a work kiss," but he didn't give a graphic or detailed response, either, and it feels like that's because he is holding onto something just for himself. I'm lamenting that we don't have audio or video of Michael saying this, because he is so good at expressing so much with just his voice and/or his eyes, and it would be so interesting to see what he conveys through his microexpressions.
But I still think that Michael's words alone are more than enough, because...look. He could brag about kissing David until the end of time (I mean, who wouldn't?), but with this answer, he distinctly doesn't make about it him. He makes it about getting to experience something he knows so many people have thought about and wanted, but that he actually got to do--as a fan of David's, a co-star, a close friend, and maybe something more. Truly amazing...
