Danny sighs in exhaustion, rubbing at his eyes with a too-long sleeve. He was honestly getting really tired of getting de-aged. It was annoying, and even if he did stuff differently there was still a lot of stuff the same. Not to mention that being partially alive (and unkillable) meant that it couldn’t be reversed, he just had to wait for his body to grow back up. Urgh. 

At least his babysitter- even if he doesn’t need one- is pretty nice, if a bit quiet. They’re not too busy, especially for being a reaper, and honestly it’s always nice to meet another of Clockwork’s kids. Which if someone had told him that CW had a habit of adopting anomalies to the timelines, he probably wouldn’t have believed them. 

But hey, he guesses Mr Speedforce-Death is his big brother anyway. And it’s not too boring, kind of nice to just chillax. Oh- the cowl-thing is going on and he’s getting an offer of a shoulder ride. Guess it’s someones time to die- hey, maybe he’ll be able to befriend their ghost!

The record holder for consecutive Black Flash uses, Nanami Kento, speaks It's not like using Black Flash consecutively is anything amazing. To do so consecutively more than twice in a row… Rather, if not done within the same day it would be difficult. It doesn't matter if the first time is by fluke or skill. Once they land a Black Flash, sorcerers temporarily enter a state athletes call "the zone." The manipulation of cursed energy that is normally done consciously, comes as naturally as breathing. There's a sense of omnipotence, like everything else revolves around you… That might be a good way to put it.

Johnny 13 is the Black Racer

I like the idea that Danny would promote many of old rouges to higher positions once he became King, and this one seemed obvious to me

(I looked it up and apparently the Black Racer uses Ski's, not a motorcycle like I had thought he did. Either way, it works)

Johnny is promoted to be a representation of the Concept of Death. He uses a Motorcycle, and has Shadow make him look more intimidating when he is on the Job.

When Johnny complains to Danny that he isn't fast enough to catch any Speedsters, he has Ellie (the Speedforce) give him some of her Power so he can catch them.

So now Johnny 13 is the Black Flash.

Idk what to do with this, but I liked the idea too much to let it just go unsaid.

Dreaming too Fast

Part 2

Ever since the accident that made him the Flash, Barry had been having the same dream. Over and over again, the dream would taunt him.

In the dream he is running, running as fast as he possibly can, but never fast enough. He's being chased by the Flash, but it's not him, it can't be him, draped in a black suit with and his face nothing but a masked skull. Every night he would close his eyes in his bed, next to his wife, and every night he would run.

This night was no different. He laid down next to his wife, kissing her before he drifted off to sleep. Like always he opened his eyes and he was surrounded by yellow and white light racing forward towards something he would never reach. He didn't hesitate, he only made that mistake once, he ran as fast as he could, speeding through the tunnel of light. He could feel the creature following him as he tried to push harder, faster, further.

There was something up ahead of him, a figure draped in black. It was him, it had to be, there was no one else! Barry panicked, doing his very best to stop, to turn around to GET AWAY. But it was too late, he was caught up in the momentum and he spun out. He landed face down before the creature, he prayed he would wake up before it got him.

"Dude, major wipe out. Maybe slow down a bit, this place is fast enough without you pushing it along." shouted a voice. Barry blinked from his place on the ground. He slowly pushed himself up from the ground before he looked up to get a better look at the stranger.

"You're... just a kid?" The teen raised a brow. He couldn't be much older than Wally.

"Why did that sound like a question? Hey road runner! Is this guy a friend of yours?" he shouted to someone behind Barry.

He quickly spun around only to come face to face with the very creature who had been tormenting him for years. He froze, there was no point in running, it was to late. It was.... turning around and running away. Barry turned back to look at the kid in shock.

"Don't look at me like that! You're the one that's been running around here willy nilly, throwin this place outa wack. Honestly it's my favorite nap spot and you go and ruin it by agitating the whole pocket dimension." The kid said in a huff as he started to float off the ground.

Barry shook his head "Who are you? Where are we?" The kid stared at him like he was crazy.

"How on earth did you get into the speed force on accident?!"

"I'm sorry care to repeat that?!?! What do you mean I'm in the speed force?!?! You were taking a nap in the speed force?!" Barry's jaw dropped.

"Hey! Don't give me that look! Nobody bothers you hear as long as you don't go running around, and you're surrounded by white noise! It's a peak napping location!" Barry takes a breath to retort but can't actually find any fault in his logic so in stead he says,

"You never told me who you are." The kid blinked once, then twice before giving him a wide toothy grin.

"You can call me Phantom."

Flash Headcanons

These are headcanons I have about the Flash (comics, not tv show) and all of the lore and other characters.

Barry is on the autistic spectrum but never got an official diagnosis as a child due to Eobard's meddling. Iris is actively trying to help him get a diagnosis. Barry's special interests include comic books (specifically the Flash) and science.

The Wests have ADHD

Wally's ADHD influences certain aspects of his connection to the speed force.

Eobard has a secret base in the present that's a time vault full of flash memorabilia.

Eobard has been one of the many bullies Barry had during his childhood because of how Eobard can warp time around him.

The reason Black Flash doesn't go after Reverse Flash or any other Negative Speed Force conduit is because even thought the Negative Speed Force feeds off the regular Speed Force, the Speed Force pulls energy from the Negative Speed Force to recycle it.

Eobard will furiously correct anyone who gets anything about the Flash wrong.

Barry has read the Dune books. Wally couldn't get past the first chapter of Dune.

Internet forums speculate if Jay Garrick's Flash is the comic character brought to life (Because if you didn't know, his Flash existed as a comic book on Earth Prime if I remember correctly) or he is just an old cosplayer that is a speedster.

Barry has nightmares about Flashpoint.

Wally has nightmares about being stuck in the Speed Force and losing his family again.

The Rogues have a movie night sometimes if they can agree on which movie to watch (Fast & Furious is always brought up)

Barry often tests his capabilities as a speedsters, writing his findings in a small journal detailing the different skills you can accomplish with the speed force. Eobard has a digital copy of this book after it was published.

Old Barry gets catcalled "dilf" by random people, he blushes every time he hears it.

Reverse Flash has considered resurrecting Daniel West just to kill him in front of Ace West all for taking Eobard's name.
