HELLO EVERYONE! It has been a while since I’ve posted new work. I practically quit at one moment, but I’m back! And my first piece is a companion piece to my LAST Cassandra piece. A few days of work and a lot of hardware issues concerning my tablet and it talking to my computer. But its sorted now. I suppose this is the Jade Canary version of Shiva from Pre-52 Birds of Prey. A WIP of a Rhaelissa piece I've been working. I'm really happy with this, and I hope that the finished version does it justice. More about this piece under the cut

Now, a bit about this piece.

It basically took me a month. I started doing it for Pride Month, but life happened, and then, for some unknown reason, when I picked it up again, I decided to study a bit about saddles, and the next thing I knew, I had made a whole study of the history of horse riding in the west (and a bit of Japan too) from roman times to the late 16th century (and appropriate riding clothes to go with it), and then I searched for a lot asoiaf official artists and fanarts depicting the saddles, I went through forums, interpreted some F&B excerpts, and at last but not least, I searched for HotD art, in particular Jack Cornell site (he helped design some of HotD's saddle), which was tremendously helpful, so please go check him out. So yeah, I planned the whole saddle, specifically to fit my design for Dreamfyre and my headcanons about Rhaena (so there might be a lot of headcanons)

I'd like to write a bit about my process for making this saddle and riding clothes, but I don't know if that would be interesting or just massively boring and too nerdy. Anyway, I hope it looks fine, and now I'm gonna finish a few touches and then rest and try to forget all the useless knowledge I have now about horses
