There are so many headcanons I have for post canon mdzs. And I just want to share some of the ones I really like for the junior quartet:

Jin Ling learning how to cook his mother's soup with Wei Wuxian teaching him.

Lan Sizhui gets to learn the healing cultivation of his side of the Wen clan and Wen Ning helps him.

The junior quartet picks up on Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji's ways of night-hunting and also goes where the chaos is. They each get their own title and their seniors are so proud of them.

Lan Sizhui calls Wei Wuxian baba at least once and gets all blushy over it but once he does it, he forgets to stop and he always calls him baba in private and Wei-qianbei in public.

Lan Jingyi simps for Wei Wuxian just as much as he does for Hanguang-jun and Wei Wuxian thinks its so cute. While Lan Wangji feels like it is right since more people should see how amazing Wei Wuxian is.

Ouyang Zizhen ropes the whole quartet into loving romance novels. They hold a book club meeting every friday and they just gush about their favourite scenes, the characters they love the most. They also gush about Wangxian.

Wangxian is the standard for romantic relationships in the junior quartet's eyes.

ship you find cute but don't ship: XiCheng. Are they cute? Yes. Can I see why people like it? Yes. But I can't bring myself to ship it. Mostly bc I can't bring myself to care enough. I don't hate it but... for me? nah. Nice, though~

Ship you're indifferent to: lol I am about to get crucified but WangXian. Look. They're official. There's SO much content for them that I get bored. Stupid idiot monkey brain see canon official ship and go -_-. I don't hate them. Of course I don't! But that story got told already. Tell me a different one, with other characters.

Ship that you didn't expect to ship but now you do: LQR/CSSR. Mostly because for her, we never really see her. But do you know how FUNNY that would be? LQR deserves a gremlin prank menace wife. CSSR paints a mustache onto a painting of a Lan Eler and in public LQR is all "I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE WOULD DO THAT HOW DISRESPECTFUL HOW DARE" (but meanwhile he is blushy blushy bc she is grinning like a prank lord)

If you're still taking asks, how about where all the juniors thought ljy had a crush on wwx because he would be all blushy and awkward around him but in reality ljy just walked in on wangxian and now he can't look at them anymore

Btw, if you’re an anon and send multiple asks to me (there’s this one anon who sent like 3 asks within the span of ten minutes), you can mark yourself/give yourself a name. Like for example cloud anon. I’ve seen other ppl do it on their blogs and thought that it was a nifty little thing we could try out! :)

Anyways, ljy would definitely accidentally walk in on wangxian -and be horrified, scarred for life the poor boy.

lwj and ljy have a weird relationship. lwj is a little more than a friend’s dad, but not exactly a father figure. maybe something like a strange relatabley gay uncle?

and wwx? he’s like a cool older brother who hpapens to be fucking his sorta gay uncle. duh.
