When Astrology Meets Aesthetics
I can't seem to get away from the exploration of aesthetics or just general navel-gazing about how I present myself to the world in my day-to-day life. So I've decided to lean in and continue the exploration until I bore myself to death and move on.
In this post, I engage in pairing astrology with aesthetics and where I think my lifestyle reflects my astrological vibration. (So if you're into aesthetics, but not astrology or astrology, but not aesthetics, this post may not interest you.)
A quick note: Some of the traits, colors, or activities I do on a regular basis aren't mentioned below because it's something I think all of the aesthetics I embody are known for, so it doesn't really belong to just one of them. (For example, eating in or hanging out in cafes while reading, writing or people watching. I feel that activity really belongs to all of the aesthetics below.)
Enough introductory explanation, let's dive in ...

Can you please do Hobie brown x bohemian reader please 😔
I love your writing some much😭
𝐇𝐢𝐦 <𝟑 . ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ 𝐏𝐭. 𝟏𝟎
ღ Aww ty pookie bear, that means a lot 😭
ღ I am SO sorry that this took so long to write and post, I did as much research as I could on this topic since I had no clue what a bohemian lifestyle or person was. I found this website particularly helpful (it had bit of a problematic background that i’d just figured out, so be warned), and it’s a very good read if you want to know more about the modern, bohemian lifestyle. Please let me know if I did anything wrong, this is my first time writing about a bohemian reader and I would love to be more informed on this topic.
ღ GUYS WE REACHED PART 10 OF THE HOBIE SERIES RAHHHH ‼️‼️‼️ I’ll make an announcement right after this post saying what the next series is, so stay tuned for that 😈
ღ Shout out to all of my artistic and open minded followers, you make the world brighter and more colorful with your creative minds and words 🫶🏻
ღ Also the reader has a van in this story, so that they can travel and explore as much as they please
ღ Previous part can be found here !
ღ This fic makes me want to drop everything and live a nomadic lifestyle full of creativity and nature 🧍
• You and Hobie have multiple things in common, like your passion for music. But the main thing that sticks out is your guys’ dislike of consistency— and a burning hatred for society’s social ‘norms’. It was as if you and Hobie were made for each other, honestly.
• Speaking of your love for music, you two are often found jamming out to whatever random song Hobie plays on his guitar outside of your van— often times in the woods, on a beach, the mountains, anywhere that was secluded and away from society.
• You’re his #1 fan during these moments, humming or even singing to his playing. Maybe even adding a little dance, doesn’t matter. What matters is that you two are in your own little word, comforted and relaxed in each other’s presence.
• These moments don’t just happen in the daytime— they also happen during the night, when everything is quiet and still.
• You two can be found on the top of your van, laying on a spread out blanket with multiple pillows cushioning the vehicle’s roof. With you laying at Hobie’s side, head resting on his bicep while looking at the stars in the night sky.
• With Hobie, guitar laying comfortably at his side while your guys’ legs are tangled together and his head resting on top of yours.
• And his eyes, trained only on you.
• I like to think that you have this HUGE sheet of paper stored safely in your van, along with old and weathered paintbrushes. And paint cans too, that Hobie generously bought you whenever you two made a quick stop in the nearest town.
• When hung and unrolled, the paper will hold multiple paintings, all piled together to form a mural that consist of beautiful and intricate depictions of places that you two have traveled together. Places that you won’t see everyday, and have to work in order to find. Moments that only happen once in a life time, between two people who love each other with all of their body and soul.
• Ok I need to relax with the deep and sappy stuff UHM!!!
• You and Hobie’s style in clothing clashes, but goes so well together at the same time. Whenever you two go out together in public to restock on food ingredients or painting materials, you definitely receive stares and make people turn their heads in your direction.
• Hobie dressed in black with the occasional couple of spikes, while you’re decked out in bright, tropical like colors.
• Total opposites, yet eye catchers at the same time.
• You’re very big on eating meals that replenish energy, along with making sure to have the appropriate amount of meals each day. Which means no skipping, not eating too much, or eating too less. That rule began applying to Hobie the moment you two started dating.
• You always made sure that Hobie didn’t skip any meals, and that he ate every single bite. Even if he was running late for either a gig or his Spider Punk duties, he couldn’t leave the premise until he ate.
“Luv, seriously, I gotta go”
“Hobart Brown, you aren’t leaving this van let alone this table until no food is left on this dish. Do I make myself clear?”
“…Yes ma’am”
• Since you most likely don’t have a phone, or have a old one at best, you are NOT caught up on the slang that people use nowadays. So whenever Hobie brings the Spider-Kids over to visit, you politely nod your head and nervously smile while they talk gibberish to you.
• It’ll get so bad, that Hobie will ultimately have to lean over and start translating their words so that you could even get a decent understanding on what the conversation is about 😭.
“Hobie… what does ‘rizz’ mean.”
“Means charisma, luv”
“Why can’t they just say that???”
“Mmm… it’s complicated. Y’know ‘ow teens are these days”
“No… no I really don’t”

HOUSE TOUR: Inside Rayman Boozer's Chic NoHo Loft
First of all, I love that he's from Indiana and living on the East Coast. It's nice to know another Hoosier made it out.
Second, what a great home! Although I'm not a maximalist, I love real bohemian decor and culture. I say "real" because a lot of bohemian spaces are the result of people trying to capture an aesthetic. But with Raymond, his space truly seems to capture his life, what he loves, and who he's met along the way. That to me is what real bohemians do.
His rather monotone way of speaking completely betrays how colorful his lifestyle is. And his approach to his home is a breath of fresh air in a time where everyone seems to decorate largely to impress others, instead of simply expressing themselves.
I especially love that bold blue of the wall unit in the living area. It's beautiful! And of course, I spotted that Kelly bag the minute they walked into the closet.
