Find me on Twitter!
It was supposed to be just a pause in your studies. Something quick since your brain was already mushy from studying and writing your research for too long.
So when you picked up your phone, to aimlessly scroll through social media, you didn’t expect to see a new, sudden rush of comments on your instagram page. There were thousands of comments in your last post, calling you a gold digger, and much, much worse. Ever since you started dating Fernando, you had been getting these comments, and in the beginning they were worse but slowed down with time. Now they were on a new high again. Confused more than anything, you went on to try and find out what happened for this to happen all of a sudden. You and Fernando hadn’t gone out together for more than two weeks and you hadn’t been to a race week for a month.
After digging you eventually found out what happened. Deuxmoi posted something that made everyone quickly think it was you.
A lady who’s 12 years younger than her famous Spanish Formula One driver boyfriend, is known for being with him for his money. Many tried to warn him, but it seems like he doesn’t believe or doesn’t care.
Confused, you stared at the post, scrolling through hundreds of nasty, poisonous comments. That wasn’t true. Fernando did give you lots of presents and spoiled you a lot but he did this out of his own want, not because you asked for or demanded it. He was constantly giving you things, especially clothes, shoes and bags, and loved seeing you wearing them. He also gave you an Aston Martin car on your last birthday. He even went as far as getting you a credit card attached to his, for whenever you needed to buy books or go on a shopping spree. You never minded it because you knew he liked it, instead of refusing you were just grateful for his generosity.
You wondered if you should talk about it with him, but deep down you knew Fernando was never one to care for gossip of any kind. And this probably wasn’t even true to begin with, just someone trying to stir the pot. So you just limited the comments in your posts and went on about your day.
A week later you went to the race, it was Silverstone, and the last before summer break. You decided to dress your best, wearing clothes that were pretty and elegant and had been given to you by Fernando.
He always treated you like a princess, he was kind and patient, and always found a way to align your schedules to spend time together. He liked taking you on trips during summer break and to ski trips during winter break. Fernando adored having you around in race weeks, you could see in his face that he was radiant with your presence. And you loved all the gifts and the trips but you especially loved staying home with him, lazing around, making love on the sofa and taking walks hand in hand in his hometown. You loved helping him cook, trying your best to follow his orders and not mess up his recipes.
You walked into the paddock hand in hand, and you kept him company whenever you could. He would keep you around the most, only letting you go when he had meetings or media duties. During that time, you would go back to his room and do a little more of your research, writing your thesis.
You left his room so you could grab a snack and a coffee at the hospitality, but as you passed by a hallway, you heard someone saying your name in conversation. You stopped, leaning against the wall to hear, with a glance, you saw two mechanics talking.
“Seems like everyone tried to warn him, man. But it’s like he doesn’t mind dating a gold digger.”
“Is she a gold digger, really?”
“Man, she doesn’t do anything! She doesn't even work.”
“Has anyone warned Fernando?”
“Everyone.”
You went back inside his driver’s room, sitting down, completely shocked. So that’s what people thought of you? You knew people on the internet talked about it, but they were strangers so you wouldn’t allow yourself to mind because those people didn’t know you. But the people in the garage? They’ve known you for almost two years now, you were always kind and polite to them, even going as far as bringing them cookies and donuts as thank you for welcoming you so well.
You avoided crying, it would ruin your makeup, and Fernando would notice it very quickly. So you just sat there, numb. Thinking about how everyone believed you were with Fernando because of his money and nothing else.
When Fernando found you again, before he had to go get ready for the race, he noticed you were a little down.
“You should not study so hard on the weekends, princesa.” He muttered, hugging you from behind and leaving a gentle kiss to your neck. Of course, he would think you were just tired.
“You are absolutely right, mi amor,” you smiled a little, turning around so you could hug him properly, “do you have time for a little kiss?”
“Even two,” he joked.
You ended up sitting on his lap, making out like two teenagers, until someone knocked on the door, calling Fernando to go get ready.
“Hey, good luck, yeah?” You said, kissing him one more time then kissing the back of his hand, “I love you.”
You watched the race from the garage, feeling self conscious now that it seemed like everyone thought you were leeching off of Fernando.
In the end, Fernando got P3 which was a great result and you celebrated wildly, proudly watching him get on the podium.
After his post race meetings, you met him in his room.
“Let’s go out to celebrate! Dinner is on me!” You hugged him, mood better now than before.
You and him ended up going out for dinner, at a high end restaurant, dressed to the nines. It was fun, you listened to Fernando talking about the race, then he asked you what you thought about the race.
Before dessert, you went into the bathroom to retouch your makeup and freshen up. When you came back, your tiramisu was already there. You and Fernando shared the dessert, laughing to each other.
When the waitress came, you picked the opportunity.
“Dear, can we get the tab please?”
“It’s already taken care of, Madam.”
Your smile faltered, and you looked at Fernando as she left. He was smiling like he couldn’t hold it in.
“Fernando! I said dinner was on me!”
“Why would I let you pay, princesa?”
“Because you got a podium today! As a celebration!” You whined, upset. Fernando pulled your chair, until you were right beside him and he kissed your cheek.
“I like paying for you, Hermosa,” Fernando stood up, offering you a hand, “come on, you can treat me right in our hotel room, what about that?”
You smiled as he pulled you away, but something still nagged at your brain.
You and Fernando took the private plane back to Madrid after the date, because he had sponsor meetings over the week, and you honestly wanted to sleep in your bed. The trip was quick, and while Fernando took a nap, you tried studying, but your mind kept going back to being called a gold digger.
Deep down, you really wanted to talk to Fernando about it, but you were unsure if he could fix this in any way. What could he do? Make a post on instagram saying hey, my girlfriend isn’t leeching off of me as most you think!? You did live with Fernando, for six months now, and he paid all the bills and the house was his. But he also gave you many many gifts.
When you got home, putting your bags inside the closet, you two just changed into sleepwear, ready to doze off.
Then Fernando opened his bag and grabbed a small box.
“Oh, I had forgotten! Got you a present last week in Austria!”
He handed you the box, and with your heart beating fast, you opened it to a beautiful vintage watch. It was gold, delicate with a beautiful bracelet. There was a lump in your throat as you stared at the piece.
“You didn’t like it? It’s ok, princesa, I’ll get you another one,” he said, with a gentle smile.
“I don’t need another watch, Nando. You gave me this one not even a month ago,” you raised your wrist, showing him the brand new one he gave you.
“I want to give it to you. It doesn’t matter,” he shrugged.
“And I don’t want it,” god, you didn’t want to sound so ungrateful, but how could you tell him that his presents felt like something else now? “You have to stop giving me so many presents,” you said, trying to put into words what you were feeling.
“But that’s how I won you over, why would you refuse my presents now?”
Something about the nonchalance in his voice made you stop, stomach dropping. That’s how I won you over? That’s how he believed your relationship came to be? That’s why he thought you were together?
“What did you say?” You paused, suddenly turning to him, it felt like a punch to the throat, “You- you believe I’m a gold digger? You believe it?”
Fernando walked up to you, putting both hands on your waist, a soft smile gracing his face.
“Amor, you know I don’t mind spending my money on you. Quite the opposite, I love to spoil you.”
You stood there, speechless for a couple of seconds. Then you snapped out of it, pushing his hands off you.
“That’s not what I asked!” Your voice sounded louder, you tried to regain your composure, “people talk a lot, the press too, but you know the truth, right?!”
“I’m a rich man, I like providing you with the luxurious lifestyle you lead. I don’t care that you enjoy my money.”
His words made it so much worse. It made you nauseous, the idea that all this time, he’s been thinking of you as a gold digger, as someone who’s only with him for his money and for what he could provide for you.
“No, Fernando- no!” Your voice wavered, “that’s not true! I love you, you know that right?”
“Why are you so caught up in some silly rumor?
“You know right? You know I love you.” You pressed further waiting for an answer. Hoping against hope that he knew it deep down, that he could acknowledge that you harbored love for him.
“Amor, we have such a great dynamic like this. I don’t need your love, just your loyalty and for you to be my pretty girl.”
He was so calm and reassuring, like he had made peace with the fact that you didn’t love him. Like he wasn’t bothered at all by the fact that you were supposedly a gold digger. His dismissal broke something inside you.
“So you don’t- you don’t believe I love you?”
You felt pathetic and helpless, repeating the same words again and again, hoping and praying for a different answer from Fernando.
“Come on, I’m really tired, can we go to sleep?
“Fernando.”
“I’m going to wait for you in bed,” was all he said, dismissing you completely.
You walked out of the room at the same time he went into the bathroom, you held your head up until you softly closed the door behind you, then finally the tears spilled. You went to the bathroom downstairs, the farthest you could go away from him as the sobs broke from your throat violently.
Sliding down on the floor you wondered if everything was lie. You knew it wasn’t but the fact that he thought you were only there for the money was completely wrong. How long had he been thinking that? How many times had he heard you say “I love you” and thought it wasn’t true? You didn’t even know what to do or what to feel. How could you feel if this whole time while you were pouring your heart into this relationship he thought you were just leeching off of him? How can you love someone so deeply and still live with the fact they think of you as a freeloader? Did he joke with his friends like yeah, she’s a gold digger but at least she’s loyal and fucks me well?
Your chest hurt and you felt repulsive, making your way to the living room, opening a bottle of his whiskey, not bothering with a glass, just sipping it straight from the bottle.
What could you do now? Talk to him? Tell him you’re not with him for his money? After two whole years accepting his every gift with open arms? After getting a fortune worth of presents? After letting him pay for your books, textbooks, new laptop? After letting him pay for dates, trips, clothes, accessories, shoes and jewelry?
You hated yourself for it now. For taking it just because you thought it was his love language, not because deep down he was trying to keep you, buying your affection.
After spending the whole night awake, nursing a bottle and with only your repulsive thoughts as company, you watched as the sun rose from the big living room window.
It was time to fix it.
Fernando was an early riser almost every morning, so after the sun fully rose in the sky, you went in the kitchen and prepared coffee, to cut the effect of the alcohol. You weren’t drunk, really.
“Morning, bebé! You woke up earlier than me today?” He said, passing you with a kiss to your cheek, then going to the cabinet for a mug. He was so unbothered by your argument last night it was pissing you off.
“I didn’t sleep.”
He paused, looking at your face.
“We should talk.” You readied yourself. Fernando stopped in front of you, attentive. “I’ve been hearing a lot this past week that I’m a gold digger, this has been making me feel some kind of way, and I wanted to address this with you. Last night you were tired and we probably misunderstood each other…”
“Where are you going with this, corazón?” He asked, confused.
“I’m not with you for your money, Fernando. Do you understand that?”
He stood silent, which only made you feel worse.
“I want you to stop giving me presents without a proper occasion. And I want you to stop paying stuff for me. And we’re going to share house bills.” You laid it all out, after thinking hard all throughout the night.
“What are you talking about? No, I don’t accept it.” He frowned, “that wasn’t the deal when we moved in together.”
“Because I didn’t know everything back then. I don’t want to feel like I’m taking advantage of you, and I don’t live at your cost like this.”
“No, Y/N.” He took a step back, shaking his head as if you had said the most stupid thing he had ever heard.
“I’m serious, Fernando.”
“No, I’m not negotiating this. I pay for everything. That’s how it’s been and that’s how it will be.”
“I just want to show you that I’m not with you for the money! I’m not what they’re calling me! No more presents, Fernando.”
“You took them.”
“Because I thought you wanted me to have them!”
“I wanted you to have them so you would want to stay with me!”
You gasped, hearing it from his mouth finally. The tears finally started flowing, and you swallowed, trying to keep your voice steady even with the tempest happening inside your chest, staining the beautiful story of your relationship. Well, what you thought was a beautiful relationship.
“You’re just like them, right?” You said, defeated, “you think of me as a gold digging whore. You probably never defended me when they called me that.”
“I gave you all this stuff because I didn’t want you to leave!”
“It was never about the fucking money! And guess what? You lost me anyway!” You marched to the bedroom, Fernando hot on your heels.
“Don’t. Don’t leave.” He said, following you. “I did everything for you to never leave!”
“Everything but loving me! I don’t fucking care!” You unlatched your necklace, putting it on the table, “I don’t care about your money and the jewelry and the clothes and the bags!” You put down your watch and earrings too. Everything he had given you not because he wanted you or loved you, but because he thought they were the price to pay to keep you around.
“Fuck, I love you!” You shouted, feeling desperate and lost, “And all you see me as is something you paid for. A toy you can parade around and look pretty in your arm! You don’t even love me, Fernando. I could write a list about everything I love about you, and none of it would be your stupid money!”
In the closet, you picked a bag, and started putting your clothes inside. Then you noticed how most of them were gifts from him. So you put it back, taking only what you had bought yourself. Fernando stood there, helpless as you packed, putting clothes and a few shoes in a couple of baggage. You also took your study material and laptop, which he had gifted you, but you knew you’d refund him.
“Stop, no,” Fernando tried to stop you as went into the garage, “I do, I love you.”
“You don’t, Fernando. You’re not even sure of that.” You shook your head, putting the bags inside the car. The Aston Martin he had given you, “you have to think. If you really love me as you say, then why do you love me? Because I’m eye candy you can take to galas? Because I’m a good fuck? Because I stand there and look pretty when you have to kiss those old men’s asses?”
You didn’t give him a second, getting in the car and starting the engine.
“This is so messed up, oh my god, how could I let myself believe this for two entire years?” You whispered to yourself, accelerating the car and driving off.
Through the rear view, you could see Fernando standing there, doing nothing.
You drove and wiped the tears away, breathing in. When you moved in with Fernando, you hadn’t been able to get out of the lease of your flat because you still had a few months on your renting contract. Now it felt like luck that you had a place to stay. Despite getting your doctorate degree, you didn’t have any friends in the city, only a few acquaintances here and there.
You got to the apartament, not bothering to unpack your bags, only leaving it on the bedroom floor. You took your study material and with your phone in hand, you sent Fernando via transfer a total 4000 euros, for what you hoped covered the “laptop and books expenses” as you wrote in the little note.
Then you laid on the bed, crying yourself to sleep.
You woke up and it was getting dark, the sun setting outside. Checking your phone, there were fourteen missed calls from Fernando, and a notification, showing that he had returned the money to you, with additional 30000 euros and only “no” written on the little note. Huffing, you sent the whole amount back and blocked him, so he couldn’t transfer any more money to you.
He still had not realized what was wrong, he was still thinking money was your motivation.
The next few days felt like a haze, you were barely getting any sleep, only eating and writing your research, which ultimately reminded you of Fernando, since it was a study on aerodynamics. You couldn’t lie to yourself, thinking of how many times you stared at the door, waiting and hoping he would understand and come after you.
-
Fernando had work commitments in England, and going back to Madrid, he ended up giving George and his girlfriend a lift. Fernando was visibly not himself as soon as George saw him.
“How’s Y/N doing?” George asked, casually. But from the way Fernando’s face dropped, he could tell something was wrong, “trouble with the missus?” He joked, tried to lighten the mood.
“She- uh, she left.” Fernando muttered.
“What do you mean, she left?” Carmen joined the conversation, “She’s traveling?”
“No- no- I guess we broke up.”
“You guess?!” George’s voice went a little high pitched out of nervousness.
“Fernando, what happened?” Carmen tried to understand.
Despite not being exactly best friends, you and her were pretty close, always spending time together whenever both of you were on race weekends. The fact that you’re both engaged academics was also a common topic between you.
“You know about the rumors, right?” Fernando started, hesitating.
“What rumors?” George paused.
“That she’s only with me for the money,” Fernando muttered.
“All girlfriends of drivers are accused of that at some point, what’s new?” George pushed.
“I might have implied that I agree with that.”
“Oh, my god,” Carmen covered her mouth, absolutely shocked, “What?”
“Fernando, respectfully- Are you fucking insane?!” George exclaimed, jaw slack, “she looks at you all lovey-dovey, like- like- you’re the only person in the entire earth and you think she’s with you for the money?”
“She would never be like that! She’s so smart and kind,” Carmen added.
“I know- I just- I don’t know! Maybe I let the rumors get to my head!” he ran both hands over his face, exasperated, “And she always lets me pay, and she always takes the presents, I don’t know!”
Then, Fernando explained about how you tried to pay for dinner, and you refused his gift, he told them about the argument and how you wanted to set boundaries about money and gifts.
“She was trying to prove to you that she’s not a freeloader. She was trying to show that the money didn’t matter, and what did you do? You pushed more money on her!” George practically spat the words in Fernando’s face.
“Eres muy estúpido, Fernando. Te lo digo como tu amiga.” Carmen muttered.
“I don’t know what she said but I heard the word stupid, and I agree.” George backed her up, “Go talk to her, apologize and fix it.”
“That is,” Carmen interrupted, face serious, “If you really love her. Otherwise, better let her go find someone who can really love her, it’s what she deserves. Love and happiness.”
Fernando swallowed, his chest constricting with the mere thought of you moving on, of someone else having you in their arms.
Getting back home without you there felt like a thick fog day, cold and empty and he missed you, he missed his sun. He missed you jumping into his arms as soon as he opened the door. He missed the smell of the candles you always lit while studying. He even missed the little mess of textbooks, colorful highlighters and notes scattered around.
Home didn’t feel like home without you.
In the middle of the living room, there were big cardboard boxes, as he opened, he noticed they were full of clothes, shoes and bags he had gifted you throughout your relationship. In a smaller box, all the jewelry he had given you, even anniversary gifts. Even the beauty products he had given you like perfumes, makeup products, and face creams.
You had returned every single thing.
And on the coffee table, your keys to the house and the keys of your Aston Martin DB12.
It seemed like you had returned everything that could tie you to him, everything that made him wrongly call you a gold digger. And it felt painfully like a goodbye.
-
While mixing your homemade coffee, your eyes flicked to the door, then to your phone on the table, facing up. Despite the searing pain in your chest, and the sorrowful hole in your heart, maybe it was time to start to move on. It had been more than a week, if he wanted to come back to you, he would’ve come by now.
You got ready to meet with your advisor, and she brought up a topic that had been common now, about you taking a position as a professor for a couple of Engineering subjects. She said it’d be good for you to work in your area while on the last few months before getting your doctorate degree. You had mostly denied the other times she offered the position, because you wanted more time with Fernando, because you wanted the freedom to fly around the world following him to his races.
Now- now you had more bills to pay and no boyfriend to follow. You also had more free time, a broken heart and a vacant mind.
“I’m considering the position. I believe it could do me good right now.” You said to her, thoughtful, “can I confirm with you tomorrow?”
After going through the meeting and getting a review on your thesis, you went back to your flat, taking a long shower. You had just dressed in pajamas when the doorbell rang. With long strides, you were faced with Carmen, and not Fernando as you expected.
“From your face I take it he hasn’t spoken to you, yes?” Carmen muttered, seeing the visible disappointment in your face.
“I’m sorry, please come in,” you opened the door wider, forcing a smile. Carmen had a couple of bags that she set on a nearby table.
“He told us what happened, I’m so sorry,” Carmen hugged you and you immediately started crying, since you had no one to talk about the past few days, “I brought chocolates and wine, so we can talk.”
Over chocolates and a bottle of Merlot, you told her everything, starting at the deuxmoi rumor. She looked horrified when you said word for word what had transpired the last time you spoke with him.
“I just don’t understand why he didn’t come talk to you yet,” Carmen added, at some point.
“Because he won’t, at all.” You say with your voice shaky from crying so much the past hour.
“Don’t say that. He loves you.” Carmen said.
“I’m not entirely sure about that,” you shrugged, pretending it didn’t hurt as much as it did, “He’ll find another one, someone who can enjoy his money since it seems like it’s all that matters to him.”
Carmen didn’t say anything to that and you knew she couldn’t argue with the facts. Later, George dropped by to get her, going up to your flat so he could hug you quickly and mutter “I’m sorry”.
With a heavy heart, you slowly rebuild a healthy routine again, doing grocery shopping, cooking meals, going to the gym, studying and everything.
One day, you went back home after going on a shopping spree, and as you got into the hall, Fernando was there, standing in your hall, waiting by the door. You stopped, almost losing the timing to leave the elevator. When you walked closer, he noticed you. Meeting his eyes was different this time, uncertain and a little distant.
“What do you want?” You asked, you hoped your voice would come out harsh, but it only sounded defeated.
“Can we talk?” He asked, and you nodded, opening the door and letting him in.
There was a moment of awkward silence as you put the shopping bags down. After doing that, you crossed your arms and stood against a side table, waiting quietly.
“I’m sorry. I’m really sorry, for not fully believing your love, I guess I was so focused in protecting myself, that I ended up hurting you, and it was never my intention,” Fernando stood just two steps away from you, his eyes holding such pain and fear, that it made you crumble, he didn’t look like he’d been sleeping well, “I love you, I really do. For who you are and nothing else.”
You wanted to give in so bad, you wanted to run into his arms and never let go, but you also didn’t want to suffer again.
“How do you know? You never knew that for two years, how would you know it now?” You shook your head, tears starting to fill your eyes again.
“Because it is hard being without you,” he said, like he was trying to find the right words, “I can’t sleep without you. My life is miserable without you around.”
You only nodded, covering your lips with a hand. You wanted to tell him that you had not gotten proper sleep without him, that your life feels empty, that not knowing about him everyday was painful. But you needed more. You needed something you could hold onto, and maybe, just maybe take another chance at the two of you.
“I- I made a list. Like you said,” his voice failed, and you noticed his hand was shaking a little as he held the paper, “I love you. I love coming home to you every time and feel our house so lived in. I love how you always hug me first thing after I’m back home. I love the silly texts you send me randomly throughout the day talking about your day. I love the selfies with your tongue out too,” that made you two chuckle, and the movement made your tears fall, so you wiped them, staring at him intently, “I love that you’re always the smartest person in any room we’re in. I love that you’re humble, never showing off or being a smartass. I love how cheeky and witty you are. I love that you talk in your sleep. I love that scar in your knee, because it shows you were always a little naughty, even as a kid. I love that there’s always fresh flowers at home. I love that you love kids. I love that you get along well with my family. I love that you-”
He didn’t finish, as you closed the distance and launched yourself at him, hugging him tight. Fernando held you close, pressing you into him, inhaling your perfume, feeling like he was at home again.
“I’m so sorry, princesa. So so sorry. I missed you so much,” he whispered against your cheek, kissing it softly.
“I missed you too, Nando” you said, eyes closed and allowing yourself to just feel him again, “I love you so much.”
You let go, holding his face with both hands, looking into his eyes before kissing him softly. He, on the other hand, held the back of your neck firmly, licking your mouth open, until he had tasted your mouth, leaving you breathless.
“Come back home with me, princesa.”
At that, you took a step back.
“I- I can’t, Nando. I got a new job at the university.”
“What?”
“I thought you weren’t coming back to me,” you muttered, and your words made him wince, “I needed something to hold on to.”
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” he ran a hand over his face, looking embarrassed for taking so long to come after you.
“I believe we should- we should take a step back, rethink a bit about our dynamic,” you told him, hesitant of his reaction.
“Are you unsure about us?” He asked, visibly worried.
“No, no- I love you- I do-” You started, taking his hand, holding it firmly against yours, “I just think we should rewind a bit. Have my own place and pay my own bills, I just don’t want to feel like that again, I need to regain my dignity in this.”
He kept quiet, because he knew deep down you were right. He felt awful about all the misunderstandings, but he knew you probably felt much, much worse. He should just get on his knees and be thankful you still loved him and still wanted him. He’d take all your conditions to get back with him.
And deep down both of you knew it was for the best. Moving out and living alone, working and seeing him occasionally as a boyfriend.
Holding your face, he kissed you, leaving little pecks on your lips, your cheeks, your chin, your forehead. You closed your eyes, letting him kiss you, and he muttered how much loved you and how much he missed you, kissing down the side of your neck. He walked you inside and let him, feeling his hands quickly peeling your clothes off, leaving a trail of clothes from the living room to your bedroom.
You parted so you could undress him, pulling at his jacket and the t-shirt.
“I love you, I love you so much,” he mumbled into a kiss, laying you down in bed.
You laid on the bed and he hugged him, making space for him between your legs. He held you, touching your nose with his gently.
“I missed you, princesa,” he kissed your cheek, “I promise I’ll do better from now on.”
“I know you will, baby.” You kissed him again, running your hand down his back, “make love to me now.”
He filled you up at once, and you groaned into his mouth, scratching your nails down his back as you cunt welcomed him. As he fucked into you, slowly at first then picking up pace, he muttered how much he loved you and how sorry he was, over and over.
As you cuddled after, quietly enjoying each other’s company.
“What do we do about all your gifts?”
“Give them away,” you shrugged.
“Can I convince you to take it back?”
“Not if you still want me in your life,” you muttered. He nodded, placing a gentle kiss on your shoulder.
“You know how I know I love you?” Fernando asked, drawing invisible patterns on your back, “there’s an engagement ring in the third drawer of my bedside table.”
You hesitated for a second, but he knew you well. Better than anyone else.
“I know what you said, I just wanted to let you know. I bought it a week after you moved in with me. I know we’re rewinding a little bit for now, but you’ll be my wife one day.”
“And what if I refuse when you propose?” You smirked, and he pulled your leg over his waist.
“You won’t.”

Hollow (Gojo Satoru X Reader) - [Part I (RED)]

When you were four years old, Gojo Satoru, despite being only two years older, looked at you for the first time with nothing but disdain in his cold blue eyes.
As a result, enraged by this look, you furrowed your brows, pointed a finger straight at his face, and fearlessly labeled him, "Asshole."
"Where'd you learn that word?" Your mother shrieked behind you as she yanked on your ear, twisting it enough for a sharp pain to follow suit. "You will apologize to the heir of the Gojo clan." She demanded through gritted teeth. "Right now, you hear me, brat?"
So you did, with your mother pushing your head down in a deep bow before the uninterested boy, ignoring how your tears stained the walkway leading to the Gojo estate. "I'm sorry," you sniffled, managing to raise your gaze just enough to see his indifferent expression mocking your suffering, causing you to mutter asshole over and over again under your breath.
-
Only two years later, your mother's relentless determination secured an invitation back to the Gojo estate. You resisted, knuckles turning white from clinging to the car door while your mother's patience wore thin, "You'll go in and make friends with him, you ungrateful child!"
Everything inside the estate was too grand, too expensive, and about as warm and welcoming as the glass of a museum display.
You sat and watched your mother's behavior change acutely in the presence of the older Gojos, engaging them in polite conversation over the dinner table while the heir himself caught your gaze, holding a boiling teapot in his hand.
Mesmerized, you watched as he poured a searing stream of tea over the back of his palm, the liquid slipping off like water off a duck's back, leaving no trace of damage or wetness on his hand.
Seeing this as a challenge, you grabbed another teapot from the table, tilting it hastily over your palm. A cry of pain tore through your lips as you hurled the teapot away, watching the porcelain shatter beneath your feet as you clutched onto the freshly forming burn.
"I am so sorry!" Your mother's muffled apologies filled the room, the size of it giving them a cathedral-sized echo. "Apologize." She ordered from beneath your feet, picking up the porcelain pieces while you stared blankly at the tea dripping between the wooden boards, wondering where it was going.
Your mother loomed over you in the kitchen, wrapping a bandage over your burn, "Why was I cursed with such a useless child? When will you understand it's for your own good? If they don't increase the funds for our company.." A defeated laugh came out of her mouth when you whinced at the tightening gauze. "What am I even explaining to you?"
"I don't know, mama."
"Listen, do you like your dresses?" And you nod obediently, thinking of the floral patterns on the fabrics in your closet, "Your shoes? Your food? The friends at your pompous school?"
"Pom-pous?" You mumble, trying to interpret what the word could mean.
"Do you?"
"I do." You concur, still not quite following.
"Then you'll be nice to that boy, do you understand? Smile when you see him, laugh when he says something funny; hell, do whatever he tells you to."
You sit back at the dinner table, moving the chair so roughly towards Satoru that his eyes narrow at the scraping sound it makes. You sit on the chair obediently, informing him proudly, "Mama told me to do whatever you tell me to."
"Your mama said that because she wants something from my parents." He announces, watching his parents get swallowed back into spewing pleasantries.
"M-hmm," you nod resolutely, "She says she wants an increase of fun." Satoru blinks slowly at your words, and you place your hands on your knees, directing a blank stare at the wall at the far end of the room.
A few minutes pass before the heir finally interrogates, "What are you doing?"
"I'm waiting for you to tell me what you want me to do."
"Alright," He pulls you by the sleeve away from the table, getting his parents' attention by merely standing up and their approval by lightly nodding his head. You throw a look at your mother, to which she smiles, mouthing 'good girl' before returning to her discourse.
"Where are we going?" You inquire. He had long since stopped tugging at your sleeve, but you followed him out of the estate like a lost puppy regardless, beginning to feel restless at the unfamiliar streets growing dark around you.
"To do something I want to do."
-
"Takahiro's Con-ve-ni-ence?" you read aloud the letters printed on the shop window, sending a puzzled stare to the boy next to you.
"You like sweets?" Satoru asks, the light from the shop window brightening only half his face; the shadows formed on the other half making him look severe.
You shake your head, "I like salty."
"Then you haven't tried enough sweets." The boy looked almost offended at the shake of your head. The thought of your mother's resentful look had passed through your mind, making you shudder.
"I like sweet."
"Is it sweet or salty then?" The boy furrowed his brows, already halfway through the door into the shop, "Never mind, just wait here."
You watched him through the transparent windows, disappearing into an aisle and reappearing from the other end. Time stretched out excruciatingly as you watched the strokes of the light from the store trying to push away the darkness of the buildings on the other side of the road.
"Girl," a voice muttered, "girl, girl, girl, girl," you swore you saw a twitching figure in a building's window. You looked around, making sure you were, in fact, the only girl in the vicinity.
You pointed a tiny finger at yourself, gazing straight at the window, mouthing, 'Me?'
"Yes, child." The voice wobbled, "Child, child, child."
You cough, your throat sore from the frosty air you'd breathed in while walking, "Do you need help?"
"Yes. Help. Help, help." The voice rasped, louder now. You squinted at the window, the figure still at the same spot, strange hands caressing the cold, slippery glass.
"Where are you?" The inside of the building was pitch black. The light from the shop failed to reach the large doorway, but you told yourself that you should be fine as long as you feel its presence at your back. "If it's dark, you sing, yes? Keeps them away, the bastards." You remember your mother's words, humming a tune under your breath.
"Help. Help. Help, child." But the stairs seem dangerous, and your throat is too sore to keep humming; an eerie gust of wind from a crack in the wall makes you fumble back a few steps before you thump on your behind. The presence draws in, a nightmarish being that engulfs the room whole, a hint of light reflecting on its sharpened teeth.
Footsteps. A pull on the collar of your shirt. A burning sensation on your thigh from grazing the floor. A harsh breath and a word; "Red."
"Red," the boy repeated, "red!" louder now, taking a spot before you, one arm extended before him, "red!" the scream is a desperate plea, "crap, get up!" He turns swiftly, still shaking his arm as if trying to rid it of a bug, "D'you want to be dinner?"
You shake your head, feeling your knees give in, too weak and trembling to hold an entire body, no matter how small. The being still looms over, feeding on the powerlessness to approach.
Satoru grabs your arm, pulling on it harshly to get you on your feet, and runs. You pass the doorway, catching a glimpse of a plastic bag lying outside the building, pieces of candy sprawled on the concrete around it. Your shoe sinks on a chocolate bar, flattening it; you almost lose your balance, close to slipping on the wrapper if not the iron grip on your arm.
Finally settled on a bench beneath a street lamp at the edge of the Gojo estate, you find the strength to inquire, "Your magic spell didn't work?"
Taken aback, Gojo grumbled, "Yeah, but I'll make it work, next time."
"Next time?" you wonder aloud, "Do you see monsters often?"
"Let's get inside, your mother must be worried."
-
You only see Gojo Satoru again seven years later.

omgomg glad ure willing to write for them!! can i request a domtop!sugar daddy arlecchino x subbttm!sugarbaby m reader? i cant think of any plot rn soo the plot is up to yoou :D have a great daay dear ♡
Thank you for the request, dear! I hope you have a wonderful day ♡
I'm a sucker for arlecchino, especially if it's sugar daddy/baby dynamics. If you have another in mind, dear then please do tell me because I'm glad to do another (*´▽`)ノノ ♥︎
(Domtop! Arlecchino, Subbttm! Male reader, male reader can be trans or cis, sugar daddy/baby dynamics, sweet fluff, mention of your past/trauma, mention of abuse and SA)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Arlecchino always smothered you with gifts and jewelry whether it's expensive or not. Not only that she is the best at giving pleasure, it's always so romantic with her that she never failed to make you fall for her harder. It was shocking someone like her could love someone like you or so you assumed. You're only there with arlecchino because she bought you at the auction. So pretty and sweet with that cute red lingerie, of course arlecchino bought you, you're a perfect match for her. When you're on the stage, she noticed how there are small bruises here and there and you're quivering in fear like a rabbit that's ready to flee at any moment. You couldn't because of the chain between your neck and your leg, oh poor you! Don't worry! Arlecchino is here now, dear.
Once you were sold to her, she went backstage. Of course, the men there didn't care about you! Always so rough on you and pushes you to her, she would've killed them right there if you weren't shivering and clinging to her body. She did not want to know what the men had done to your body, all she knows is that you're in her safe hands. Arlecchino just narrowed her eyes at the men as she covered your body with her coat and gently guided you out of that disgusting place.
You didn't know what to do, all you were taught was to accept any of your daddy's order and just be obedient. One, you were afraid that you would get caught escaping from her. Arlecchino didn't know that the disgusting place over there was such a scammer! Sure you could just live with her forever but you believe from a very young age that if you would stay with anyone longer than a month or so, you'll end up good as dead. You didn't want that, you also don't have anywhere to go so you go back to that place..
For a month, you don't trust arlecchino even if she's showering you with gentle love and gifts. You accepted it but you didn't return it. You believe everyone, men or not, they'll always use your body and dump you in dark, cold places. The more you get showered, the flustered you get. Arlecchino never forces you to bed with her, never forces you to wear lingerie or anything that is uncomfortable and it confuses you. What if it's her plan and she's just waiting for you to drop down your guard so she can break you!? It bothered you so much that you finally confronted her.
Your cheeks puffed out as you were ready to defend yourself whenever it goes ugly. Your brows furrowed and you're looking down at arlecchino with your arms crossed, yet arlecchino stared up at you with amusement. She chuckled and you started to blush, it was embarrassing when she's dressing you with the finest clothes and here you are, demanding an explanation from her when she kneels down for you. "Why? Such a doll you are, sweetie. Always behaving well, don't you think you deserve better from me?" There it is, you blushed harder than before. You swear you could faint from her stares and her smirks. Oh, why does she have to be so romantic with you?
You are beginning to drop your guard down around her once a while, sometimes you actually want to be with her all the time. You spend all your moments with her, whether she's doing her work, eating, sleeping, you're always there with her. You actually enjoy her company, her gentle touch, her kisses and even when she's spoiling you rotten. One of your favorite moments is her aftercare, you on her lap while she kisses your swollen lips over and over again. She appreciated your love, she wanted to show it to you.
"Still so sensitive? I'm so sorry, baby but I can't help when you're begging for daddy" she smirked as she rubbed your thigh and gave you a kiss. You pouted, your arms wrapped around her neck and hid your face in her breasts. Your body is filled with bite marks and lipstick marks while her body is filled with your scratch marks. Sometimes she teases you, comparing yourself to a small kitten and that flustered you so much! Oh how lucky you are to have her, you wonder if you could be with her forever.. Maybe you could propose to her one day and have a family together, you smiled to yourself at the thought of it ♡

Finding a cozy spot at a table to the left of the bride and groom, you flipped open your notebook and started jotting down pin points on the decor, the flowers, the bride's beautiful flowing silk gown, and the way the groom looked at her with stars in his eyes.
The first dance song rang around the room gathering all the adorned looks of friends and family watching as another couple took the leap on spending the rest of their lives together.
A rocks glass was placed in front of your pen and paper as the chair next to her was suddenly filled with the stranger who put it there.
“Taking notes for your own wedding?”
“Oh. No, I'm doing a piece for the Daily on their wedding.”
“Are you y/n l/n by any chance?”
“I am. You’re familiar with me?”
“Yeah, just through the bride. She’s my sister. She talks about you nonstop. I’m Soonyoung, I was the one who contacted you.”
“I see. Nice to meet you. What’s the drink for?”
“Working hard, I figured you should at least enjoy yourself a little bit.”
“That’s nice. Thank you.”
Soonyoung stared at the girl across from him, trying to catch a peak at her notes seeing if she was painting this night in a perfect light.
You caught on and shut the book quietly, giving him a small wink as a shout it would be everything his sister wanted.
“What’s the drink?”
“A vodka soda, lemon.”
“So, you know my drink order? Thought you said you didn’t know who I was?”
“I saw you at a wedding a few weeks ago, my friend Seungkwan. I noticed your drink, that's all. That’s how I got your contact actually.”
“Lying on the first meet, a great sign. No wonder you look so familiar to me. You were the best man right? But blonde at the time?”
“My sister would’ve killed me if I was blonde at her wedding and sorry not lying just felt creepy admitting it.
“I liked it.”
Soonyoung laughed remembering the conversation he had with his sister about his hair.
“So what’s it like being in two weddings in one month, Soonyoung?”
“Actually I’m going to be in three. Next week my coworker is getting married. Which would make my wedding count twenty-six.”
“You’ve been to twenty-six weddings?”
“Yep. After next week anyway. What’s your wedding count?”
“Ones I’ve covered? Too many to count. Ones I’ve been in? Two I think. Both of my brothers are married. That’s about it.”
“So you cover weddings but aren’t married?”
Rolling your eyes at his unfiltered nature, you couldn’t help but feel like his question was out of curiosity and not judgment. The way his eyes searched hers for answers was genuinely adorable.
“Almost at one point, but he cheated on me and is marrying her now. I didn’t actually become a journalist to cover weddings anyway, it sort of just happened.”
“I see.”
“What about you? Being at all those weddings and never getting married?”
“No. Not even close, I was in love with the same girl for a long time, but she didn’t feel the same way.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
After spending the rest of your night enjoying Soonyoungs company, you bid goodbye to the bride and groom and headed back to your home to get down to working on the article.
Digging through your black leather tote you realize you forgot to take your journal home with you, leaving it on the white table cloth being distracted by a new friend.
Realizing you don’t have his number you took it upon yourself to stalk his social media profiles in hope you could find a way to get in contact with him, maybe he was your saving grace in taking your book for safekeeping until he could give it back to you.
Saying fuck it for now you just began typing away about your night, thanking god or whomever that you backed up your calendar digitally when you get a clever idea to write an article still about weddings, but about the person you met who had been a groomsmen all those times. Searching for any kind of photos and videos of his past times supporting nuptials.
All you came up with was a couple cheesing photos of him posing in his suits of many colors and types when you get the idea to go back into your own rolodex of photos and writings from weddings you’ve done in the past, noticing him standing near the bride and groom in just a few it was now safe to say he has piqued your interest even more than before.
You decided to draft an email to your boss begging for the chance to write her an article about the types of bridesmaids and groomsmen who’ve been involved in many years of weddings as a support, if you found one person who had done so many in a short time it wouldn’t be hard to find more right?
Before getting ready for bed you sat refreshing your email waiting for the go-ahead to investigate Soonyoung further with the excuse that it was simply just for work, it took multiple scrolls to the point where your thumb was starting to hurt from running it over the screen until she replied.
‘Y/n, feel free to start drafting up the story. If I like it I’ll let you have more creative articles in the future. Please have it on my desk in two weeks.’
When the morning finally arrived, you had to make the rough decision to get out of bed and head to grab a coffee from the shop in your apartment lobby. Normally you’d be cuddled on your couch with your cat, spending your Saturday morning reading and watching reruns of your favorite reality shows, but much to your surprise the coffee stash you usually have stocked has dried up.
Exiting the silver doors of the elevator a call came from the front desk attendant and you were met by a brown paper bag tied with a bow, the outside scribbled on with some crayons of silly faces and drawings of cartoon tigers, stickers of hello kitty, and a pink note taped to the handle.
“Miss. Y/l/n! Some boy dropped this for you last night.”
“Oh? Thank you, Max.”
Ripping open the small note in line for your morning brew, it instantly puts a smile on your face.
‘Hi, I noticed you left this on the table. Hope it’s not weird. I dropped it off for you. Your address was inside. At least I can stalk you now. - Soonyoung (wedding guy lol)”
Inside the bag was your planner and a few random pieces of candy thrown around. A small bookmark was placed on a page and written underneath was a date for next Thursday and the number of your new favorite subject marked ‘single seeking wedding date.’
After grabbing the paper cup from the barista behind the counter you whip your phone out and dial the number written inside your prized possession.
“Hello, is this the single seeking a date?”
“Hey, it is. Is this the cute girl who’s planner I found?”
“I think so? I don’t know any other cute girls who like going to weddings.”
“Are you available for drinks and a little pre-wedding party?”
“When?”
“Tonight.”
“Tonight? Wow. Eager to see me again I see.”
“I am. And I’m being bold right now which is new for me, so please don’t make me cry.”
“Aw. But I’m sure you’re so pretty when you cry.”
“I’m always pretty, y/n. So?”
“Sure. Why not?”
You heard Soonyoung gasp over the phone and drop something loud.
“Really?”
“Want me to take it back?”
“No. Cool. I will.. pick you up at 6:30? We can get some drinks before and then it’s just like a casual party, but my friends are kind of fancy so maybe like nice cocktail attire. I’m sure you know.”
“Okay. I’m sure you remember where to find me? After all, you did confess to being a stalker.”
“Oh my god. I was kidding, don’t take me seriously. I’ll see you then.”
“See you, Soony. Ok now I’m corny. That wasn’t meant to be a pun. Bye.”
Hearing the boy's laughter over the phone almost gave you butterflies.
“You’re funny. Bye.”
Spending the rest of your normally relaxing afternoon getting ready to slyly interrogate your new friend, you decided to not go out of your way to look overly special after all you weren’t even sure this quote on quote date was anything romantic or just a way of initiating a friendship.
Just before you leave your front door you sat to think if it was appropriate to bring along the same journal that was delivered to you the same morning, but made the conscious decision to leave it behind and not make this first night getting to know each other about you digging into his life for your own gain.
The ride down the elevator had you inspecting yourself in its small safety mirror, fixing the very last strand of hair that felt out of place on your head, not paying any attention to the people jumping off and on from their various floors.
When you finally stepped out into the marble covered lobby, you immediately spotted Soonyoung draped over the side of the couch holding his legs close, almost like a nervous child looking around the room and pouting because he can’t find his toy.
When he finally locked eyes with you his childlike demeanor changed immediately into a spunky puppy, jumping up from his seat and dusting off crumbs on his pants that weren’t even there in the first place, maybe to wipe his hands from their small sweat they were undergoing.
“Hi, y/n. You look very nice”
“Really? So do you. Where are we headed?”
“There’s a cool poet themed bar just like two blocks from here, I thought you’d enjoy it since you’re a writer and everything.”
You looked at Soonyoung with wide eyes, it was a sign of how considerate he was yet again, just like the thought he put into bringing you, your planner and decorating the bag.
His sharp brown eyes sparkled under the street lights, almost like they were reflecting stars, his baggy khaki pants with matching jacket slung perfectly over his frame, he was cute. You could admit it to yourself that something about him was magnetic and you already wanted more.
“Y/n? Is that not your thing? I’m sorry we can do something else, I shouldn’t of assumed all writers like poetr-“
“Oh I’m sorry, I was distracted. Has anyone told you that you have insanely cute eyes? But yes, poetry’s cool. I’m more of a classic novel girl, but it sounds fun. Stop second guessing yourself. You’re good.”
Your hand moved faster than your brain as you brought it up to pat him gently on his shoulder, a confirmation that you were having a good time and trying to ease his awkwardness.
“Yeah, people have once or twice.”
“Good. They really are cute.”
The pink of Soonyoung’s cheeks grew into a deep red as he led you into the bar. The walls were covered in decaying pieces of paper written with words people had to get out for comfort. The smell was like the oldest library on earth, with a tinge of vanilla and vodka ringing through.
Your brain took a moment to be present and remember all of the bad dates of your past. Maybe this wasn’t a date of your future, but if it was, he had already exceeded your expectations.
As the waitress took your order, one Body Electric for your new friend a legit inspiration from Walt
Whitman to your choice which was a play on a Sylvia Plath poem.
“Are you a lightweight?”
You looked at Soonyojng not even halfway through his drink, feeling the ease and warmth of his body next
to you.
“How can you tell?”
“You relaxed for the first time tonight.”
“I was nervous to hangout with you. I’m sorry. You’re just cool and pretty and I don’t know I feel like you’re way smarter than me and I’m intimidated by that sober”
“I’m sure that’s not true. But if it’s any help I was nervous too.”
“Really? So I have game?”
“No. But you’re so cute I’d die if I hurt your feelings.”
“So you’re a lightweight too?”
“What? No way. Just honest to a fault.”
Soonyoung smiled into the rim of his glass before taking his final sip and prompting you to finish your drink quickly, which you happily obliged.
“Okay, on the way there.. I have to admit something. The party we’re going to is for the girl I liked before she got with this guy… it’s like unrequited love in a way.”
“The girl you said you don’t love anymore?”
“Yeah. I’m sorry I dragged you into this. I just wanted to see you again so I thought it was a good idea.”
“I’m down. I’m not sure what, but I’m down.”
“Cool.”
“Want me to pretend to be your girlfriend? Or? I feel like it would be weird to say we were on a first date.”
“Is this a date?”
“Is it not?”
“It was meant to be and it definitely is now.”
“So pretend girlfriend, Soony?”
“Maybe not an official girlfriend, how about… fourth date?”
“Okay, have we had sex?”
Soonyoung choked on his own spit which caused the two of you to end up in a fit of laughter on the street as you reached your next destination.
“Obviously.”
“That’s fair. I’ll tell everyone you were good.”
“I think I love you.”
“Shut up.”
After spending the night waltzing around and parading your further long relationship with your fake new boyfriend to his friends in hopes to prove his fondness for his newest engaged friend has gone away even slightly.
While maybe you were pretending to be on a date with Soonyoung, your head was spinning. If this was a fake date it was better than any date you had previously. Stepping outside to take a break from the party inside you pulled out your phone, jotting down notes and small nuggets of information you learned about Soonyoung’s past wedding experiences.
“Taking notes on me? What are you a PI?”
Behind you, you hadn’t realized the door you snuck out of opened and the boy had followed behind, curious if you were okay.
“Yeah, you’re under investigation for being overly nice. Sorry.”
“What do they say? I didn’t read them, just saw my name.”
“Just some antidotes I want to remember. Nothing crazy.”
“Do you want to leave? I’m starting to reach my alcohol limit and I would rather die than have you see my drunk alter ego the first time we hung out.”
“Yeah, come on, let's go.”
Going back through the back exit, you tripped behind Soonyoung’s tall frame grabbing onto his shoulder and giggling before he stood in the way of you hitting the ground.
His lips were curled into a goofy smile.
“I swear to god if you say something about me falling for you, you will get punched.”
“How did you know?”
“That fucking goofy smile you have on your face right now, I could just see it brewing in that head of yours.”
“Okay, I don’t like that you’ve already figured me out. Let’s go, klutz.”
Before you and Soonyoung could exit back into the fresh air, a familiar face appeared in front of you. Your ex boyfriend. Something about this night clicked for you, it was his party, there were so many people around and the only person from the wedding party you met was the bride. But taking a breath in and looking around the room, you realized how stupid you were to not see all the signs that this party was for him.
“Y/n? Hoshi? Hey, how have you guys been?”
Soonyoung still holding his arm around your shoulder gave a small back and fourth look between you and the tall boy who knew your name.
“You guys know each other?”
“Yep. Hi, Jihoon.”
“I didn’t know you knew Hoshi either?”
“Oh well we just started dating, he invited me to come hangout.”
“Dating? Wow. I didn’t know you had time for people outside of work anymore.”
“Jihoon, if you don’t mind we have to go now. Thank you for the open bar and this amazing time chatting, congratulations on marrying your hookup. Goodnight.”
The start of your walk with Soonyoung was pure silence, there was an obvious elephant in the room and you could tell he was just itching to talk about it, so you decided to prompt him.
“You’re curious aren’t you.”
“Yes. But I don’t want to ask you to talk about it because we’re having fun. So I figured I’d try to ignore it.”
“It’s fine. I’m curious too actually, it’s kind of funny that the girl you liked was hooking up with my boyfriend and now they’re married. And by funny I mean actually funny and we just spent the whole night not knowing that.”
“I didn’t even know that Jihoon had a girlfriend when they first met, he never said anything about it.”
“I don’t blame him actually, I do work way too much. I just wished he’d broken up with me instead of cheating on me for a month.”
“When did you guys break up?”
“Last December.”
“Oh.”
“It was more than a month wasn’t it?”
“I think so.”
“Cool, cool, cool.”
“That’s fucked up y/n, I’m so sorry.”
“That’s okay, we weren’t supposed to be together and his new girlfriend or future wife whatever seems like she’s really nice.”
“She is, but she’s too nice. She does everything he wants, maybe he couldn’t handle your independence.”
“Soony. You caught on that I’m a bad bitch?”
“Have you met yourself?”
“No. But, if I did I’d be obsessed with her and hate her at the same time.”
“That’s exactly how I feel.”
You punched his side, before stopping and realizing you had come up to your front door. Not even worried about the way your feet were aching to get out of your heeled shoes.
“This is me.”
“I know. I’ve been here like three times now in less than twenty-four hours. I’m starting to believe you actually think I’m stupid.”
“Not stupid. Just silly. I’ll see you again right?”
“I mean I did put days on your calendar to schedule out time for me.”
“You littl-“
Suddenly you were cut off by Soonyoung’s hand covering your mouth to put a stop to you cursing him out.
“I won’t take no for an answer.”
Sinking your teeth into his hand he retreated from his momentary confidence quickly, looking at the proud smile you were sporting, pointing your well manicured finger in his face.
“Don’t tell women to shut up, Soony.”
“I never said shut up, you were going to call me a mean name and I’m sensitive. Go back to calling me cute.”
“Maybe. Next time.”
You went in for a one armed hug when all of the sudden Soonyoung came in with both arms, clinking your heads together.
“Very smooth.”
He liked the fact that you constantly teased him while making light of situations, regaining his confidence he pulled you into his embrace enveloping both arms around your shoulders, placing a small kiss on the part of your forehead that crashed into his.
“I’ll see you next week.”
“What’s next week?”
“The wedding, check your planner. Well actually I’ll see you in two nights because we have to shop or go through your closet so we can match! Bye, y/nie.”
Caught off guard by the kiss on your head and watching him hail a cab like it was nothing, you couldn’t help but smile on your way into your building, met by Max at the front desk beaming as wide as you and giving you a wink.  Knowing that he saw the cute and awkward interaction you shared with the hyper hamster outside.
The two days in between you and Soonyoung’s first official interaction, you felt yourself looking forward to seeing him again and being in his presence like your own personal serotonin boost.
The insane fact that your ex was marrying the girl he cheated on was enough, but the girl being Soonyoung’s painful crush? Especially when you felt he was becoming yours was beyond insane.
You made up separate drafts of your article about the people who make weddings shine, from the families, the bridal parties. the insane bachelor and bachelorette nights, and mainly Soonyoung’s love for love.
The two works of nonfiction were from different perspectives, one being your head and one being your heart. You couldn’t decide if it was appropriate to present a piece basically claiming how amazing you found Soonyoung for the whole world to see when you’re not even sure if he’d ever consider you to be more than a silly writer girl y/n, his friend or fake girlfriend. Your other was from the space of practicality, a genuine love letter to your career and the person who inspired this story, but also digging deep into the ideals of how frantic and selfish the wedding industry can be and what it means for an unmarried friend to take in burdens constantly for their loved ones when it takes a toll on their own heart.
The biggest debate in your body was the fact the real article, the one you wanted to write, was at the fault of someone who had only in the short space of two days made you feel again, but it was honest and genuine.
You knew Soonyoung had to have some pain working and being a part of a wedding for the girl he saw himself marrying.
Luckily you have another few days to decide which way it’ll go.
Sitting on the thought of what one you should put out, you were awoken out of your thought bubble to a string of buzzes from your cell phone sitting face down on your desk.
None other than the boy that had been living in your head for the past 48 hours.
Soonyoung’s texts were multiple lines of photos and silly messages asking you which outfit he should wear that could match any of the dresses you had hanging in your closet for the wedding.
One of the options was a beige suit, simple in theory but something about the way he styled it with a funky sage green t-shirt and matching sneakers made you smile. Even if you didn’t have anything to match this outfit you would make an effort to go out and spruce up your wardrobe to be on his level.
After quickly responding that it was your choice, he retorted back in his true fashion you’d have to send him your options too or he’d come over to help you.
In a desperate subconscious way you agreed to his antics.
Now nearly an hour later a call came from the front desk that a visitor had arrived asking for consent he could come upstairs which you happily agreed assuming it was none other than Soonyoung himself. The person on the opposite side of the door was not the sharp eyed boy you’d expected, but Jihoon.
“Why are you here?”
“I wanted to see you after the other night, I just wanted to say hey.”
“Okay? Then text me. Don’t come over unannounced, I have a friend I’m expecting.”
“You wouldn’t have responded.”
“That’s true.”
Standing with your arms crossed in your doorway not letting Jihoon into the now redecorated apartment you once had let him live in, you weren’t budging on your gut feeling to let him in and talk.
“Can I come in?”
“Like I said. I’m expecting a friend. So.. no.”
“Who? Hoshi? You guys aren’t seriously together? He’s not your type, too goofy.”
“Isn’t he your friend?”
“He’s Nana’s friend, but he’s okay. I’m just saying it's not your style.”
Nana? A stupid nickname for his fiance who’s name was simply Anna. So as you rolled your eyes and shut your apartment door behind you as you stepped into the hallway as a clear defining factor he was not welcome you stood far apart from him as a line in the sand.
“He’s not goofy. He’s sweet and yes he’s on his way so maybe you should leave before saying anything else so he doesn’t get the wrong idea.”
Jihoon wavered a bit, looking towards the elevator door at the end of the hall as if like a movie Soonyoung would walk out of the elevator at the mention he was on his way over.
“Maybe take the stairs. I’ll see you at your wedding with my date.”
Rushing in and slamming the door in his face, you sink to the floor in a moment of pure exhaustion over interacting with someone like your ex.
Why wasn’t Soonyoung right for you? Why did you not want that to be true? And why were you so dead set on proving him absolutely wrong?
In your rush of emotions another knock came to your door. Without looking through the peephole you swung it open rapidly.
“Look I told you to g- oh, Soonyoung! Thank god.”
Your body made a move before your head could even catch up as you ended up hugging him tightly, rushing him inside as if Jihoon didn’t get the message and was watching in from a hidden spot in the corridor.
“Y/N are you okay?”
“Yes. Sorry, someone just came over that I did not want to see. Welcome.”
You watched as his eyes took in the view of your pink and green splattered apartment, things like funky vases full of wildflowers, plant tendrils floating down from shelves tucked between books of various sizes and ages, a small nook with sleeping white and black cat hid inside snuggling into his stuffed toy.
“I love it here.”
“Really? I redecorated recently, it was cold before. I love it now.”
“Also it smells amazing, do you bake? It smells like cookies and coffee. Wow.”
“I do not bake, but I do have candles that give the illusion. What’s in the bag?”
Soonyoung set a small black duffle bag down on the counter and began pulling the contents out one by one, showing them off like a beauty guru.
Wine, five small bags of potato chips, beer Incase you didn’t like wine and he was unsure, a slice of delicious looking chocolate cake, and a container marked with your name of his moms homemade soup.
“Why did you do this?”
“I thought we would have fun while picking out matching outfits. Will you let me see your closet? Please, please, please. I’m so curious.”
“It’s not that impressive at all.”
“If your apartment looks like this then I have only the highest expectations for you.”
Smiling, you jokingly made a come on motion with your fingers and led him into your spare bedroom that now existed as a half home office and half closet.
His eyes took in even more of your fun design work, the racks of records, pictures of you and your friends, and one of the things that made him feel like he could fall in love with you, your rack full of limited edition shoes and bags.
“Not impressive? You have some of the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in here?”
“I’m just a girl with a cat and a lot of time on my hands. Since being single I’ve just spent it on shopping and ordering take out.”
“If you don’t mind me asking what were you and Jihoon like together? You guys seem really opposite to me.”
There it was again, someone not right for you. Was it just in your head that you think maybe you’re the problem of why this comment is being made?
“Uh, we were okay at first. We met in college about three weeks before graduation and spent so much time together. But if I think about it, we just hung out in his dorm where I watched him play video games and watch anime even though I was not interested. I kind of wish I was more outspoken about it. I missed a bunch of things my friends had done wasting away on his futon drinking shitty cheap alcohol and waiting on him hand and foot and whatever else.”
“Really? So you guys dated for a long time I guess. Did it change a lot once you got out?”
“Not really. A lot of people knew we were ‘dating’ but in the time that we did, we probably went on one or two actual dates.”
“That makes me sad actually.”
“Why? I made the choice to do all those things. At least I don’t have an ugly poster of John Lennon on my wall just to show I loved him.”
Soonyoung was set off by that, laughing and imagining you having a photo of a musician on your wall to impress your boyfriend.
“What’s so funny? Haven’t you done anything embarrassing to impress a girl?”
“Definitely. Too many to choose from actually.”
“At least you're charming, I came off as obsessive and stupidly in love. Not a good look for me.”
“Caring too much is never a bad thing when you think you’re in love and you’re charming too.”
“Why thank you good sir.”
“And you’re weird. Which personally is a green flag for me. I didn’t expect that from you actually.”
“Is that a compliment though, really?”
“For me? Yes. I don’t like normal people well, not normal people I guess, just people who have no personality or something I can learn from. I want someone as a friend or whatever else to challenge me a little, it’s healthy.”
“I think that’s really cool of you, I agree. I like people that are willing to try new stuff or get me out of my comfort zone.”
“Was showing me your office a way of me getting you out of your comfort zone?”
“Sort of. This is kind of like my safe haven.”
Soonyoung just gave you a wide toothed smile, beaming from ear to eat that you admitted he was even just slightly somewhat of your type.
As the night went on and on the boy that has now broken down a couple of your walls, not quickly but brick by brick was sitting comfortably next to your cat curled up in the same manor helping you pick out something that would go with his two outfits, one for the wedding itself and one for the rehearsal dinner which he promised you that you’d only eat and leave to have more fun just out of respect for the couple and his friend Anna.
Now each of you taking the bottle of wine he brought slowly, sitting on your floor surrounded by shoes and loose pairs of pants, giggling over nothing he stared in your eyes almost like you could read that he had another interrogating question.
“Was Jihoon the one at the door before?”
“How did you kno–”
“I can’t remember you mentioning anybody that would come over unannounced and make you look as upset as you did.”
“Yeah.”
“Do you know why he was here?”
“He just gave me some stupid antidote that he wanted to see me after the other day, I didn’t ask further. When I told him I had a friend coming over he just knew it was you for some reason and then told me we couldn’t be dating seriously because you’re not my type? As if he’d know? It was weird all around.”
“Do you still have feelings for him?”
“No. I realized once we broke up and now after knowing he was cheating on me more than a few nights that it was an amazing decision. When we first ended it I just kicked him out and ghosted all his texts, he used to update me on his life every now and again, the last time we talked for real, before today he called me crying that his Grandmother was sick, so we just had a brief talk and it ended for real there. I genuinely never thought I’d see him again.”
“Also, am I your type?”
Ss wine dribbled down your chin you were once again surprised by Soonyoung’s random fit of confidence.
“Yeah. You’re nice and I love how annoying you are. I think you get under my skin in the best way.”
“Wow. I’m surprised you admitted it.”
“What can I say, wine drunk y/n is honest.”
“And what about my physical type? Sexy, cool, handsome, the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen?”
Taking a note from his book you swung your closest arm to him, you clipped your fingers over his mouth and shut him up.
Much to your surprise he took a note from your book and instead of biting your hand he stuck his tongue through his lips and licked your fingers which caused you to lunge towards him further, jokingly pissed he did just so.
As you were fighting for comedic relief you sat suddenly face to face with him holding onto your wrists to resist more thrash fighting.
The two of you stared at each other filling the room with intense tension of your lips being so close once again.
“If I knew you wouldn’t be mad at me I’d kiss you right now.”
“Soonyoung, you’re so stupid. Why would I be mad at you?”
“So I can kiss you?”
“Nope.”
Soonyoung pushed his bottom lip out from his top, replacing his cute puppy face with a pouty one.
You decided to quickly dive in and pace a peck on his protruding bottom lip.
He immediately let you go and erupted into a fit of giggles like a little kid, as you tried to sneak away quickly he grabbed onto the arm of your sweatshirt which you quickly unzipped and slipped out of, running through the door of your office and into the rest of the house as he chased behind.
“You have to know I’m going to catch you for that, that was so mean y/n.”
As you were winning the fight, getting away from the boy chasing you around, you suddenly tripped up and felt his hand grasp your shoulder, turning you around with secret strength.
Standing face to face with him now, your stubbed toe throbbing through your fuzzy socks, you both were holding in a whole lot of laughter.
Soonyoung’s hand slipped behind your head and pulled you in for a much more romantic type of kiss than you gave him before. The two of you touched lips softly, as your smiles were still prominent on your faces.
Before anything could escalate further your phone began to ring again and your boss's name was plastered over the front, which you answered with panting breaths still in a haze from kissing the boy you made you feel young again.
“y/n? Hi, would you be able to send over a draft of your article you begged me for? We were looking for something to print for tomorrow if you’re interested? I’ll have someone expedite the editing process tonight.”
“Oh, shit. Yeah of course, I’ll rush and email it to you now.”
“Thank you, congratulations y/n.”
“Thank you. Bye.”
Oh my god, Soony, stay here. I have to email my boss quickly about my article, she wants to print it for tomorrow's paper. I’ll be right back.”
“What? Congratulations. But don't worry, I’m not leaving.”
“Good, sorry, be right back.”
Rushing back into your office you flipped open your computer and sent your final article draft, choosing the one that your gut felt would be better for your personal life at the moment, especially after the kiss you just shared with the boy it was about.
Typing a quick message along with your attachment you just said a big thank you and clicked send before grabbing the half drank bottle off the floor and ran back to Soonyoung munching on a bag of chips waiting for you.
“Shall we celebrate?”
“What are we celebrating?”
“Me, idiot. I’ve been trying to get a real article published ever since I got the job doing weddings. I love weddings, but always being so happy and cheerful and not getting a chance to stretch my creative juices is frustrating.”
“Can we also celebrate kissing? That seems more fun.”
“Shut up, asshole.”
Taking a swig from the bottle, you passed it over to your male counterpart and watching him take an equally large drink matching your energy.
You and Soonyoung spent the rest of the night talking about how tomorrow will go, where will you and he be sitting, will Jihoon be giving you side eyes or talking shit with some of the other guests. How nice of a chance it’ll be to experience a wedding simply just enjoying with someone on your side and not for work.
After sitting in bed and still thinking about your kiss with Soonyoung many hours later, you saw a text from your boss letting you know she loved the article and to watch out for it in the morning.
When that finally rolled around, you woke up to a lot of messages congratulating you and your new found success, many people from college, your parents, but the one person you were looking for was nowhere to be found in those texts.
Putting the praise aside for a moment, you slipped back out of your bed to jump into the shower and start getting ready for your dinner celebrating the devil that was your ex.
When you stepped out and went to grab onto your device once again you saw a text from the one person you were most excited to read, but it was less than exciting. Soonyoung expressed how upset the article made him and accused you of using him to further your career, something Jihoon supposedly warned him of the night of his pre-wedding party and he chose to ignore.
Confused why he would be so upset about your praise for him, you ran to your front door and ripped open the pages of the paper only to find the article that you sent was a mistake, it was the one shitting on weddings, basically claiming Soonyoung himself was an unmarried loser, not in those words but you could see why it came across that way. Some of the simple moments of praise for his hard work were cut out in the editing room, only leaving the small bits of gossip and harsh criticisms sprinkled in between.
Rushing back inside as your stomach sank to the floor you tried his number three times before getting no answer. Which made you frantically dial your boss’s number and interrogate her on why parts of your article were cut out, she simply answered that fluff doesn’t sell and she was proud of you.
Soonyoung not responding had let you in on the fact that he wasn’t going to be seeing you today or maybe even seeing anybody for that matter, he was embarrassed and rightfully so.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
Continuing your quest on trying to reach him, you decided to still get ready for your night out, maybe not in the intense matching outfit way you wanted to last night, but just something where you could sneak into Jihoon’s wedding party and slide Soonyoung the real article you wanted him to read.
Running down the street to the venue with no accurate directions in sight, you saw your ex standing on a corner, smoking a brown wrapped joint in his suit.
“Jihoon. Jihoon.”
“What? Back to grovel for a favor?”
“Yes, please, just give this to Soonyoung for me. Please, I’ve never asked you for a favor like this, just once do something for me.”
“You’re really serious about him?”
“I am.”
“So you didn’t mean to slam him in the article like you did?”
“No. My boss cut out the good parts of the article, this was the one I meant to send. Just for me. I want you to be happy, Jihoon, I do. I want it for myself too, just please give it to him. Make sure he reads it.”
“Okay.”
“I know we haven’t had the best past and I know I'm coming here askin- Wait? Okay? Really?”
“Yeah. I can tell this means a lot to you and the reason I came over today was just to formally invite you to the wedding. You’re a big part of my life and now Soonyoung’s, well maybe, besides the point. My fiance is one of his best friends, she liked you too, that was the only reason.”
“Oh. Well I don’t think I’ll make it.”
“How about you come on official business and give this to him yourself?”
“No. I couldn’t do that. It’s your day not mine.”
“We both deserve a big love, y/n.”
Taking back your enveloped letter, you couldn’t help but be impressed by how mature Anna had made Jihoon become and you knew he was right. Sometimes love just falls in your lap and you can’t do anything about it.
Ashing out his joint, he handed you the other half as an olive branch to celebrate old times and bid you goodbye until tomorrow.
Before going back inside, he turned to you with one final wish.
“You better look damn good tomorrow too, no suits. Wear something nice to confess your feelings, otherwise you’ll look like a dumbass.”
“Got it.”
Catching your breath and shoving the letter and paraphernalia back into your purse, you decided to take Jihoon’s advice. To look amazing, you stumbled upon a shop called ‘All's Well that Ends Well.’ situation just a block down from the poetry inspired bar Soonyoung took you to just a few days before.
Stepping inside the store, the first thing you saw was a navy blue dress, the halter neckline and the silk straight flowing down to the floor, you knew it was meant for you. Especially because it would match the light pink suit Soonyoung was meant to be sporting with you by his side. The easiest shopping experience of your life.
As the sales associate packed your order up and sealed it with a light pink bow, you knew it was a sign or something of the sort.
With less than twenty-four hours of doing the most insane thing of your life, confessing to a man who essentially hated you after you had been kissing just hours before, you stayed up all night, using the weed that Jihoon gave you to stay focused on the task at hand, you almost considered cutting of your hair to enter a new era of your life, but only girls who were going through something would consider that and you attempted to tell yourself you were calm.
When the morning sun rang around you finished writing a letter to match the one already placed in the envelope to accompany your sorry. You even decorated the outside with stickers of tigers and spongebob characters just to make Soonyoung smile.
Sliding into your navy blue dress and silver heels, your hair was down and curled into perfect waves. You kissed your cat on the head and made your way over to the venue by foot, just to give yourself a little fresh air and piece of mind, hoping to slip in early enough so that you’d be seated before he even knew you came.
Slipping into a space near the back of the room on Jihoon’s side, you opened your phone to an encouraging text from him telling you that you’ve got this and he’s excited to hear more about it later, plus reminding you to have fun and enjoy yourself.
As the progression started you watched along with the other wedding goers, catching glimpses of Jihoon’s smiling family, which made your heart feel warm.
As the wedding part waltz down the aisle in their pastel pink suits and rosy toned dresses, you saw a now blonde again head appear on the arm of a girl who looked a lot like Anna, so it was fair to assume it was her sister.
Soonyoung didn’t glance your way, but something about the change in his demeanor made you aware he knew you had come.
“Everyone please rise for the bride.”
Anna walked out with her father on her arm, floating across the room like an angel in white. Her dress was adorned with small beaded flowers from the tips of her fingers down to the vail over her blonde hair.
She was truly beautiful, you couldn’t help but feel like a peasant in the room with this woman who both of the men you had either once had feelings for or now did once loved.
The whole ceremony was beautiful, but you missed a lot of it as you stared Soonyoung’s way trying to catch his eyes, but he never met yours. He was too busy enjoying the fact that his friends were getting married and the fact you had upset him.
When the ceremony ended you followed the other guests to the front of the church, holding your envelope in your hand and greeting the bride and groom, Anna and Jihoon beamed at you before she pointed her finger to a room off the side of the front door, some sort of administration office where Soonyoung would be waiting for you. Which also told you Jihoon had filled her in on your little plan.
You cracked open the old wooden door, trying to be subtle but the rotting wood creaked under the old floor boards making your entrance more known than you would’ve liked.
Soonyoung was seated in a red leather chair to the side of the desk, his now blonde hair meeting your eyes before his face. Not giving in to turn around and look at you.
“Soonyoung? I know you probably don’t want to speak to me. But, this was the real article. It was never meant to be that way. I’m sorry.”
You placed the letter in front of him on the desk and moved to turn back to the door before you heard his voice.
“So you didn’t mean all those mean things you wrote about me? That I was a desperate groomsman waiting for his shot to have a day for himself?”
“No.”
“You didn’t mean to say that my ostentatious nature was cringe worthy?”
“Not in that way no, my boss cut out all the good things I said about you. She put it in her own words for dramatic effect. I quit this morning.”
“You quit? Why?”
“I wanted to try to make this right in the best way I could, she wouldn’t reprint the article how I wrote it and told me that if I didn’t like her style I should get a job somewhere else. So I quit.”
Soonyoung just nodded, he couldn’t imagine why you would give up a golden opportunity just to prove your boss wrong or right for that matter all because of him. The only way he could make sense of what you were saying is that you were truly sorry and you cared about him.
He made a bold move and threw the letter in the trash can to the side of the old oak desk and got out of his chair to hug you.
“You’re not going to read it.”
Speaking into his shoulder, you got a calming exhale of his cologne.
“I don’t need to. I know you're telling me the truth, you said it yourself you don’t lie when you drink wine, and I can smell it on your breath.”
Slipping your hands up from their place around his neck into his hair you giggled slightly, looking at the now dyed blonde locks of hair.
“You dyed it back?”
“You said you liked it. I thought you’d be my date and I had the appointment so I didn’t want to cancel.”
“You weren’t hoping I’d show up here?”
“I knew you would. I saw you talking to Jihoon outside last night through the window. I wasn’t sure exactly because you did walk away and he never told me what happened. But, when I saw you today sitting in the crowd. I knew my inkling was right.”
“Did the cohesive outfit impress you? I missed one night, but I hope I made up for it today.”
Soonyoung pushed you away slightly by your shoulders and made you do a spin for him.
“You look beautiful.”
“You’re such a dork.”
Soonyoung playfully swung you around in the office covered in photos of church go-ers and crosses, bringing you into his chest tightly.
“So, what did you write in that article? That I was devilishly handsome and cool?”
“Nope. Just that you were a bad kisser.”
“Seems like you need a reminder.”
“Maybe.”
As your lips met Soonyoungs once again your heart sank into your stomach and was beating rapidly. You just fit and he never once doubted your heart.
“What do you say? Should we go outside and dance?”
“Can you even dance?”
“Y/n? Can I even dance? What do you even think I do for a living?”
“Oh. I’m such an idiot. Anna works at a talent agency. Got it.”
“Come on, silly. Before our audience outside gets bigger.”
When you exited the office back into the group of people outside, for some reason Jihoon started a cheer alongside his new wife.
Soon you and Soonyoung were dancing the night away and drinking a little too much than your stomachs could handle.
When you finally got a moment of dizzy drunkenness alone, he had you sitting on a bench where he knelt to the ground. Your mouth got the better of you once again.
“Oh my god you're not proposing already are you I mean I know I’m amaz-”
“Y/n shut up, I’m tying my shoe.”
“Cool, cool. Got it.”
“But the next wedding I attend hopefully I’ll be the groom.”
With a wink Soonyoung sat back at your side as you watched the stars together, making a mental note that the next wedding would belong to the both of you.

Yet another day of overtime in your god forsaken company. The thing is, it's already 11.30PM.
You should 𝘢𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 be paid $100 more for each hour you had to waste for overtime. It really was tiring.
You sighed, leaning back against your office chair- thinking about anything to release your stress.
But suddenly, an idea popped up in your head.
What better way is there to relieve yourself besides jerking off?
Jerking off to whom?
Well, of course.
It was Scara, your new-found crush.
It was really surprising.
A guy who you only met once and that's because you paid for his presence.
How awful.
You sighed, you could feel your pants tightening- you were already hard.
You palmed at your growing bulge as you let out a loud groan, you were lucky you were alone in the office.
As you kept rubbing your hand against to bulge, you realize how it wasn't as good as Scara's blowjob..
Well, you couldn't move on from the feeling.
His hot, wet mouth sucking your hard cock-
Gods, it was such an amazing sight.
You groaned even louder, your fingers caressing the pant's fabric.
Oh god, guess you have no other way but to visit that maid cafe again.
.
.
.
And here you were, 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.
You never thought you'd be such a horny bastard but here you were, Infront of the lighten up cafe.
As you walk inside the door, you realized no one was there to greet you.
How odd.
As you looked around, the area didn't have as much people as before.
Damn, what happened?
As you looked around, looking like a lost child, you were suddenly greeted by a soft unfamiliar voice.
"Are you lost?"
The voice said, you turned around to see a light blonde haired man with pretty features-
𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘢'𝘴..
You blinked once, then twice.
"Ah, no..I was just wondering why it was so empty.." You said, a drop of sweat falling from your neck.
The man seemed to understand as he nodded, "Ah, I see. Are you here to order food or-"
"Im here for your special service." You cut him off which the mean just looked at you with an unfazed expression.
"I see, who are you looking for?"
"Is..is Scara available?"
You asked, which the man quickly responds with a no.
"Unfortunately no, he hasn't come to work in the past few days..Anyone else?" He quickly tried to change the subject.
How odd
You thought for a second.
What were you planning to do here, anyway?
Maybe..
Sex?
Are you really trying to waste your virginity on some man you won't meet again?
Well, yes.
You were.
"Can I take you? I'm looking to have..sex." You said, slightly flustered- Meanwhile, the blonde haired man just oh so casually nodded.
He quickly led you to one of the rooms in the back, you both went inside as he locked the door.
You sat on the bed, already trying to take your clothes off.
The man just stared, it was awkward at first but when you slip off your boxers- you were already hard.
It was quite embarrassing..or was it not?
You just stayed silent, trying to look at the man Infront of you but when you did look;
You saw his eyes widening, seemingly impressed or amazed at your size.
How corny..
You coughed, trying to get rid off the awkward atmosphere.
"hey uhm..what's your name?" You asked, trying to make the thick atmosphere go away.
The man seemed to shake his thoughts away as he replied, "Call me Albedo..Master."
Ah, that name again..
Was it really necessary to be called master?
"So..uhm, this is my first time and I.."
You flushed, embarrassed to admit it was your first time.
"How can I..y'know.."
"lay down."
The man commanded which you quickly did as he said, you laid down on your back- The bed was comfortable, that's good.
You closed your eyes for a second but you quickly opened them when you feel a sudden weight added to your thighs, you glanced over as you saw it was Albedo.
oh wow what a shocker!
Albedo seemed to take something out of his pocket-
oh, it was packet of lube.
He ripped the packet and smeared the lube onto your very hardened cock. He spreads the lube onto the base of your cock till the tip of it, his cold fingers and the cold lube sent a shock through your body as you let out a groan.
The man made sure to evenly smear the lube onto your cock, even slightly teasing your slit and made you let out yet another groan.
The way he thumbed at your slit was so goddamn good, his soft and slim fingers felt so good on your cock and all you could do is flinch when he starts moving his hands up and down.
Unfortunately the sensation didn't last long as he quickly raised his hips to slightly hover on your hard cock, the tip slightly rubbing against his rim.
As albedo lowered his hips downwards, your slicked cock slipped and didn't pierce through his rim, making him let out a gasp.
He tried again, lowering himself onto your cock just for your cock to slip away and instead rub against his buttocks.
He became even more frustrated, even slightly whining.
"𝘯𝘯𝘩..𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨.."
Albedo kept trying to thrust your cock into his hole but to no avail, making him very frustrated.
"𝘐𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘺.." Albedo whimpers softly, your cock was apparently too big to fit.
He was getting tired, he eventually gave up as he sat on your thigh with a small pout.
"Just put it in me yourself.." He says, pouting childishly.
Which you agreed, you sat up straight as you placed Albedo onto the bed while you stood up behind him, his ass rubbing against your still hardened cock.
You tried to slip your cock in but to no avail, it kept getting you frustrated.
Albedo too was annoyed, his thighs were quivering and clenching around nothing.
You tried to slip it in again but to no avail, but this time your cock slipped in between his thighs, making you let out a moan at the sudden heat and clenching.
"𝘈𝘯𝘩𝘩~ 𝘸𝘩𝘺'𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯-𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘴..?" He asks, his voice was slurred and sounded oh so innocent as he looks back at you.
"I..it feels..good.." You were honest, it felt good.
Currently, his thighs were clenching against your cock, the head of his soft and plump thighs were like heaven, your cock hardened even more as you couldnt help but thrust into the warm heat, letting out both groans and moans.
“mnhh..[Y/n]...” Albedo cried out as your thrusts were becoming faster than ever, the way your wet cock was sliding against him made his eyes roll back.
He really needed you inside of him..
“Pleashhh— anhhhh...mff~
[Y/n]..w-wanthh...mworenhhh!!!” You couldn't help but get even more flustered as Albedo's moans and cries were so goddamn lewd, you gripped his hips tightly to the point it might leave a mark as you kept getting faster.
Skin against skin rang throughout both of your ears, it was as if you both were actually having sex.
As you felt yourself reaching release, you gripped Albedo's cheek as you kissed him roughly—
Your teeth clashed with his as you bought over dominance, though the ending was predictable.
You thrusted faster and faster, trying to reach your climax as you stared at the sight under you, Albedo's trembling figure and sweat made your cheeks were hot and red, you were panting harshly as you couldn't stop fucking his thighs, all the lewd noises were making you even more turned out as you let out a final groan before you finally came.
“Nghh..!” Albedo whined as too, came. He looks down to his stomach to see his cum sticking onto his abdomen, meanwhile your cum was staining the sheets below.
Both of you breathed heavily, you looked down to see how albedo was a crying mess, drool and saliva was visible near his lips.
Your body gave up on you as you laid down on the stained bed.
Fuck, maybe next time you'll lose your virginity.
Maybe.

Pietro is the kind of guy that was often hard to read, the sort that hid his thoughts and feelings behind snarky expressions and remarks. Near enough impossible to get a sneak peek inside his brain.
Recently things have taken a little turn in your platonic relationship. Ever so slowly moving towards the more romantic side. The thing is, you were both stubborn when it came to sharing emotions. Neither of you wanted to be the first in case the feeling wasn't mutual, even though it was clear you were really into one another.
It was coming to the stage where it began to get slightly awkward, the part of the relationship where it became somewhat tiresome. You wanted Pietro to crack first, much like how he wanted you to.
So today, after a quiet day at the compound, you join the rest of the team in the communal area, blending in seamlessly with a bottle of beer as you sit between Steve and Clint. Turning to face Clint, you see him emersed in conversation with Natasha, so you twist back around, noticing Steve sitting quietly to himself. "How's you?" you sweetly ask, politely including him.
"I'm doing good, thank you," he smiles, crossing his leg towards you, getting more comfortable. " How are you?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm good, thanks. Just a long day," you reply, leaning a little closer so he could hear you over the loud private conversations that filled the room.
Glancing over to the kitchen, out of the corner of your eye, you see Pietro make his way over with a bottle in hand, talking with Wanda. You discreetly follow his movements as you continue your conversation with Steve, peering over every thirty seconds, trying not to make your gaze obvious.
"How did that house viewing go? That place in Brooklyn," you ask, speaking with genuine interest.
"I don't think it was the one for me. There'll be more, right?" Steve rhetorically asks with a wry smile, his beer bottle pressed under his chin.
Peeking over at Pietro, you see an expression you hadn't yet seen before, something bitter. He isn't usually the envious type, but when he notices you and Steve sitting so close together, with your legs crossed towards each other? That's when his mind starts to wander.
There was no reason for Pietro to be jealous as there's nothing going on between you and Steve. He's a generally sweet person to talk to, just all-around good company. But by the way, Pietro's eyes squint in focus told you he didn't quite understand that.
You watch him stealthily, secretly glancing over every time you take a sip from your bottle, waiting somewhat patiently for Pietro to say what was bothering him. He didn't have to speak in order for you to understand his displeasure, the envious expression on his face telling you multitudes.
"I'll be right back," Steve says, leaning closer at a friendly distance for you to hear him. "I've been summoned," he chuckles, excusing himself as he walks towards the kitchen.
You scratch the side of your head, discreetly looking over to Pietro to see if he's still staring. To your surprise, he was gone. Searching around, you spot the back of him as he's about to leave the room.
You place your beer on the coffee table and subtly chase after him. "Pietro," you whisper, making your way down the corridor. "Pietro," you say again, slightly louder.
"Milovat," the familiar voice of Pietro calls. Following the sound, you see him leaning with his back against the wall, arms folded. "Wondering when you were gonna show up," he smirks, his gaze following you as you rest against the opposite wall.
"You knew I'd follow you?"
"Hm," he grins, nodding cutely. "Kinda counting on it. Why are you being so hard to get, draga?"
"Me?" you reply, your tone sounding offended. "No, that's you,"
"Nuh-uh," he says, his gaze fixed on you. "What's with all these games?"
"I'm not playing games, P. I don't-- I don't like games," you say sincerely, eyes softening.
"With Steve back there," he points with his head, nodding backwards.
"We were just talking... he seemed sad," you speak sweetly, trying to reassure him.
"Really?" he asks, his eyes sweetly widen as he straightens from the wall. "You're not just saying that?" slowly making his way over to you.
"Yeah, I mean it. I don't like him in that way,"
"Then who do you like?" he asks suggestively, standing a foot away.
"Who do you like?" you tease, trying to coax him into answering first.
"You're so stubborn, draga," he grins as his hands reach for your face, cupping around your cheeks. He leans forward slightly, kissing the tip of your nose. Whispering. "You."

Two weeks. Fourteen and a half days, or three hundred and forty-eight hours. That's how long it's been since you've held a conversation with Jenna, and it feels like an eternity. You've been wanting to talk to her and apologize, but she's been avoiding you. And she's doing a wonderful job at it, but you can't lie and not act like you're making it any harder for her to do so.
Instead of waking up at your usual time, you've been waking up thirty minutes earlier, and getting a ride for Eli. After practice, Eli drops you off before heading home himself, and then you'll grab a snack from the fridge, check for towels before you shower, sleep, and then repeat.
On the days you don't have practice you're out with Olivia, doing whatever comes to mind. Again, she's a very sweet girl, kind and loyal, and you can't help but admire her. You've been spending a lot of time with her and it's been great because you both enjoy each other's company.
She's been telling you about how she's started writing songs and they're mainly about her ex-boyfriend. She says her songs are a way of healing, and letting go of her past. You have been supportive and encouraging her to continue writing, and you've been there to listen to her stories while she works through her feelings.
Eli thinks you should stop and hurry up and apologize to Jenna. For someone who wants Jenna for himself, he was so keen on you two being on good terms. Eli was over at your place since it was an early dismissal at school today, and also a Friday.
"I still can't believe you're not talking." You open your mouth to speak but Eli beats you. "Just apologize and be done with it, man." You feel your neck flush. You open your mouth to reply but it only comes out as a stutter. Eli shakes his head and sighs, "All of this because she saw your lil Jimmy John."
You take a bite out of your apple sending a slight glare while doing so. Eli laughs and you swallow your bite before speaking, "Shut up. It's not that simple."
Eli smirks and shakes his head. "You know it is," he says. "You just don't want to admit it." You glare at him, not wanting to give in. You take another bite of the apple, savouring the sweet crunch. "No, it's not," you say firmly.
"Yes, it is. You're avoiding her, she's not avoiding you." You sigh in frustration. You know he's right, but you can't admit it. You set the half-eaten apple down, "Because it's awkward!" He shakes his head and smiles. "It's never going to be not awkward if you don't talk to her. It's better to just go for it and get it over with." He reaches for your apple and takes a bite. "Trust me."
You furrow your eyebrows. "Keep the apple, bitch." He grins, taking another bite of the apple. "You started avoiding her after she saw you naked and then she probably took it as a hint that you didn't want to speak to her, which you don't and started to avoid you herself." You sigh and roll your eyes. He takes another bite of the apple. "She's just as embarrassed as you are."
"So why not just apologize and move on?" He shrugs, taking the last bite of the apple. "It's not that hard. Just be honest and it'll be over in no time and don't walk around naked knowing you have company over." He wipes his mouth and stands up throwing away the apple.
"Where is my wife anyway?" You stare at him blankly at the nickname, "She's out."
He looks around the room for a second before he sighs. "Alright, I guess let's just order pizza and finish the movie you fell asleep on." You throw your head back groaning, "Fuck no! I'm not watching that movie. I fell asleep on it for a reason." He laughs, shaking his head. "Fine. What do you wanna watch then?" You smile, "Puss N Boots."
He raises an eyebrow, but agrees, "Fine, Puss N Boots it is." He pulls out his phone and orders a pizza, and you stand up from the bar stool, heading into the living room.
Thirty minutes later, Jenna was heading home with her friend Emma. She had no idea you were home, and she definitely didn't know Eli was over with you. "Am I about to meet the too attractive for her age, Y/N?" Emma asks with a smile, repeating Jenna's words from earlier today. Jenna sends Emma a glare, unlocking the front door.
Emma giggles, stepping inside and turning to look at Jenna. "So, is it a yes or a no?" She asks with a smirk. Jenna rolls her eyes and walks inside, closing the door behind her. "No. She's at school." Emma's face falls and she sighs. "That's disappointing." She turns away and walks towards the kitchen. Jenna follows but stays silent.
"It smells like pizza," Emma says and looks back at Jenna who nods in agreement.
You pause as you hear sounds coming from the kitchen. You snap your head at Eli who's too invested in the movie to hear anything. He chews his cheese pizza letting out a laugh before taking another bite. "Eli." Eli turns to you and sees the worry in your eyes. He slowly puts down his pizza and turns down the TV. "What is it?"
"I think Jenna's home." His face lights up and he holds his pizza in his mouth jumping up happily, you follow the boy who nearly jogs to the kitchen. Jenna and Emma turn around at the sound of something falling to the floor. It's the pizza that slipped from his mouth.
"MY PIZZA! NOOOOOOO!" Eli yells out as you stare at the two women in front of you. Jenna and Emma smile, amused by the boy's dramatic reaction.
He quickly picks up the pizza and takes a big bite. "Dude, that's so gross." You mutter, squeezing past him and further into the kitchen. Eli continues to eat the pizza off the floor. "It's not that bad," he says with a mouthful. You shake your head in disbelief and watch as the blonde woman whispers something into Jenna's ear.
"I thought she was at school, hm?" Emma whispers, a smile on her lips. Jenna's cheeks flush and she quickly avoids eye contact with everyone in the room. You frown, wondering what that was all about, but it soon disappears as you examine Jenna's outfit.
She was wearing a cropped white button-up, a black tie and a long grey split colored skirt. One side was darker than the other, her socks matching it perfectly. Her shoes were black loafers that matched the tie. A pair of glasses sat on top of her head while her headphones hung from her neck. She really does always have a pair of headphones on her.
She had a unique style, one that blended modern and vintage elements creatively. It was eye-catching and inspiring, and it seemed to suit her perfectly. She looked amazing in it, and it was clear she had a lot of confidence in her own style.
The blonde woman smiles at you, "Hi. It's so nice to meet you. I'm Emma, Jenna's friend." You smile back, holding out a hand for her to shake. "Nice to meet you too—" Eli steps in front of you, shaking her hand himself and introducing himself. "Hey beautiful, I'm Elias Cooper the third." Emma looks taken aback, laughing in shock and surprise as she shakes his hand.
"He's not a third." You and Jenna both say in sync. You and Jenna exchange a glance, and Emma laughs again. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Elias," she says. Eli raises her hand to his lips, pressing a soft kiss onto her hand while not breaking eye contact. Emma giggles looking at Jenna, and Eli lowers her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too," he says, his voice low and rich. Jenna clears her throat, and you place a hand on his shoulder, rescuing Emma from the situation.
Eli stands up straight again, and you quickly shake Emma's hand. "I'm Y/N. Sorry about him." Emma's face lights up with a smile. "It's nice to finally meet you, Y/N." She turns to Jenna with a mischievous glint in her eye, mouthing, "Sexy indeed." Jenna turns a deep shade of red and averts her gaze and Emma grins even wider.
"Don't you two have school? Why are you home?" Emma asks. Jenna sighs in relief at not having to ask herself. You nod and Eli speaks up for you, "We had an early dismissal."
"Oh, I see," Emma said. Jenna's eyes roam over you, taking in your white tee that fits your biceps just right. Or your black sweatpants that sag just enough to show the Calvin Klein band in your boxers. Jenna's gaze lingers for a moment before she looks away, blushing. She quickly turns her attention back to Emma, trying to focus on the conversation.
But Eli noticed it all his eyes widening as he stopped himself from letting his jaw drop in shock. He quickly regained his composure and tried to act as if nothing had happened. Eli glanced at Jenna, who was still blushing. He smirked, his lips turning up into a mischievous grin.
"— home safety." Emma finishes off, and you and Eli nod. "Yeah, I'm leaving as well. I just wanted to hang out with her since she's been spending all her time with Olivia." Eli says, staring you down at the last part.
Emma laughs while Jenna's lips twitch downwards. Who's Olivia? "Who's Olivia?" Emma asked with a hint of curiosity. You shake your head, "She's just a friend." Eli sends a quick look to Jenna before throwing an around your shoulder and placing a hand on your stomach. "A friend who wants to be more than friends!"
He tells Emma and you sigh at the boy. Emma's eyes widen, and Jenna scoffs quietly. You roll your eyes and move away from Eli, hoping to avoid any further conversation about Olivia.
"I should get going," Emma announces to everyone with a small frown. Jenna nods and Eli feels his pockets for his keys, "Me too." Eli begins walking into the living room and you follow behind him.
While that happens Emma and Jenna are making their way to the front door, Emma gives Jenna a hug pulling away with a smirk on her lips. "I saw those glances at Y/N." Jenna blushed, trying to deny it. She was about to say something, but Emma just laughed and shook her head. "Come on. Just admit it."
"Em, I'm married." Emma rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissively. "Unhappily. When's the last time you even got laid?" Jenna opened her mouth to protest, but no words came out. She looked away, trying to hide the blush that had spread across her cheeks. "That's what I thought," Emma said smugly.
"Y/N is my best friend's daughter and not only that but she's eighteen," Jenna exclaims. There were a lot of reasons this was a bad idea, but these were her main concerns. Along with being engaged of course. She didn't want to get caught up in a scandal, and she didn't want to make your parents mad. Especially since she was already getting married.
Jenna knew she had to put a stop to this before it even began. She had to make it clear to Y/N that there was nothing more between them than friendship. She had to make sure that Y/N understood that she needed to focus on her future and not on Jenna.
But the way you looked, the way she felt, she couldn't help but think about what if? Her husband was barely home and he barely even called. And here you are, giving her kisses on her temple and sending photos of her to your best friend. She knew it was wrong but she couldn't resist the temptation. She wanted so badly to feel alive again.
"She's an adult. She can make her own choices. Plus, she seems respectful." Emma says, shrugging slightly. Emma looked away, embarrassed. She knew she was wrong in encouraging her friend, but she couldn't help it. She had been in her friend's shoes not so long ago and she wanted her to be happy.
She was trying to be supportive, even if it was misguided. She wanted her friend to be able to make the decisions that she thought were best for her, regardless of the consequences.
While they spoke, you and Eli were as well.
Eli searches the couch for his keys, tossing a few pillows to the side. You cross your arms, "They're on the table." He turns his head, and they indeed are on the coffee table. "Oh, shit. Thanks."
Eli grabs his keys, "Thank you, baby girl." You scrunch up your face, "Shut up." Eli laughs and throws his keys in the air. He catches them and gives you an exaggerated bow. "My humble thanks to you, my lady." You roll your eyes and Eli grins. "You better talk to her."
You uncross your arms, sighing. "And say what exactly? Oh, sorry Jenna. I didn't mean for you to see me naked, I was just heading to get a towel. I thought you were asleep." Eli pauses then gives you a single nod, "Yes. Say exactly that. It's not rocket science." You take a deep breath, then exhale. "Okay, I'll apologize."
Eli plays with his keys. "Good." He turns to leave but immediately turns back around. "Also! You can keep Jenna for yourself. I want Emma." You raise an eyebrow and look at Eli, confused. He smiles and rolls his eyes. "Just kidding. Hashtag Jenna for life." He laughs and starts to walk away. You watch him go, still trying to process what had just happened. You shake your head and laugh, deciding it was best not to question it.
Jenna opens her mouth to reply to Emma but closes it, turning around as Eli enters the room. He stops short when he sees the two and quickly puts on a smile. "Hey, ladies. Looking even more gorgeous than earlier." He says, Emma grins and Jenna shakes her head. "Hey Eli, leaving?"
Eli nods. "Yup, I'm headed out. See you around." Eli gives a small before walking out of the room, leaving Emma and Jenna alone. "He's cute as well," Emma whispers, smiling. Jenna laughs. "We'll talk later, yeah?" Emma nods and follows Eli out the door.
Jenna watched them leave, a small smile on her face. She shook her head and went back to the kitchen, slightly jumping when you were already there, waiting for her. A sad smile was on your lips as you leaned against the counter. "Hey, Jen. Can we talk?" Jenna hesitated before nodding. "Yeah, of course."
"I uh, I just wanted to apologize for--" You motion with your hands trying to find the right words. "For walking out without a towel, I honestly thought you were asleep." You look away, feeling embarrassed. You take a deep breath and look back, hoping for a response. "I'm sorry," you say again, hoping your apology is accepted.
There's a long pause, and you can feel your heart racing. Suddenly, your Jenna breaks the silence and says, "It's okay. Don't worry about it." You let out a sigh of relief and offer a weak smile. "Thank you," you reply.
Jenna smiles back and gives your hand a reassuring squeeze. You feel a sense of calm come over you as you look into Jenna's eyes. You give her hand a gentle squeeze in return, "Can we hug?" Jenna smiles and pulls you in for a hug. You wrap your arms around her and exhale, enjoying the feeling of being so close to her. A soft hand rubs up and down your back gently.
The warm feeling of connection between you and Jenna slowly dissipates as you pull away. You look at each other, a mutual understanding in your eyes. Jenna reaches up to caress your cheek before releasing you and stepping back.
Your face tingles from her touch and your face begins heating up. "There, um. There's still a box of pizza left if you want some." She hums, "What's on it?" You stutter in response, "Uh, cheese and pepperoni."
"I'm a pescetarian."
"Oh, um, sorry about that. I didn't know." You fumble for words, trying to think of what to say next. She laughs softly and says, "It's okay. I'll just have the cheese." You furrow your eyebrows, "Wait. Didn't you have chicken and rice that one day?" You refer back to the day she cooked for you.
"That was for you. I had eaten something beforehand." You feel guilty for not realizing it before. "I'm sorry," you say, "I should have known that." She smiles and shakes her head, "It's alright. I'll just order something else."
"That's why you ordered that veggie sandwich." You mumble loud enough for her to hear. She laughs, "Yes, that's why." You look down at the ground, thinking a bit before letting out a, "Huh." She stares at you, her eyes twinkling. She smiles and says, "It's good for you. You should try something new every once in a while." You nod, shrugging.
"Maybe." She gives you a knowing look. "Just trust me. I think you'll like it." You reluctantly agree, moving to sit down on the bar stool and continuing to talk to Jenna until Midnight comes. You can't believe you spent two weeks avoiding the older woman when the apology was so simple. You mentally groaned at the fact Eli was right.
Instead of being in bed Saturday morning, you found yourself in the school gym, your team and the opponent team warming up. "So, she just said it's okay and moved on?" Eli asks, dribbling the ball in behind him. As you sit down, you hum as you search through your gym bags for your shoes. "See! I told you, she probably thought you were upset. She's grown, I'm sure she got over it the next hour."
You pause for a moment, considering the situation. "I guess so," you finally reply. Where the fuck are your shoes? You glance behind you, looking for them. "Eli, do you have my shoes?" Eli frowns and shakes his head. "No, I don't. I thought you had them." You groan in frustration and turn away, searching the gym for your missing shoes.
You stop looking and take a deep breath. You know you must have left them somewhere, but you can't remember where. You retrace your steps, going back to the locker room and searching around the benches. "Fuck! I left them at home." You glance around the locker room one last time, just in case they were here after all.
You sigh and start heading toward your back. Eli is now sitting down with the ball in his lap. Eli notices your distress and offers to help you look for them. You tell him that you remembered they are at home, "I'll look in lost and found for another pair before Coach starts the huddle."
You nod, sitting down and reaching into your bag for your phone, dialling Jenna's number. Hopefully, she can bring your shoes in time.
Jenna pulls away her phone away from her ear, seeing an incoming call for you. She cuts off the man on her phone sighing, "Jacob. I have to go." Jacob stops her, "Jenna! I'm talking about something important."
Jenna takes a deep breath and clenches her fist in anger. "Suggesting an open marriage is important?! Are you fucking kidding me?" Jacob's voice rises on the phone, "Yes! Don't you think I have needs too?" Jenna's voice tightens, "No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying that's not the way to solve this problem." Jacob pauses for a moment before stammering, "Well, what do you suggest then?
"Oh, I don't know? Maybe coming to see your wife every now and then? Taking some time off to build a family like you said you were the past ten times." Jacob clenches his jaw on the other side of the phone, "You're not my wife."
Jenna's heart sinks. She swallows the lump in her throat and says, "No, I'm not. Because someone is too fucking busy to officially marry me. You don't understand how embarrassing it is. We've been fiancées for so long that my family has stopped asking when the wedding is."She takes a deep breath and resigns herself to the fact that it's just not going to happen.
She feels tears welling up, but she quickly composes herself. "Then you have the audacity to suggest an open marriage? You're an asshole."
She places down the phone, putting it on speaker before speaking again. "Fuck you! And fuck this ring!" She takes off the ring, roughly setting it down on the kitchen counter. "Jenna--" she quickly hangs up, not wanting to hear his voice anymore.
She begins to sob, her hands shaking as she covers her face with them. Her phone starts ringing, and it's you calling her again. She takes a few deep breaths before collecting herself and wiping away her tears. She takes a moment to compose herself before answering.
"Jen! Thank God, I forgot my shoes at the door. Could you bring them to me? I'm at school and I have a game." She sniffles into the phone, about to reply but you interrupt her. "Jenna? Are you okay?" She takes a deep breath. "Yeah, I'm okay. I'll be right there with your shoes." She hangs up and quickly grabs the shoes before rushing to school.
She arrives at the school and sees Eli, already on the court playing, but no sight of you. The woman recognizes your last name on your jersey, your back is turned towards her while you sit on the bench. Jenna takes a deep breath, smiles and jogs over to you, calling your name.
You turn around, surprised to see her. You jump up making your way to Jenna, a huge smile on your face. She hands you the shoes, and you bring her into a side hug. "Thank you so much," she nods in response. "Of course."
You stare at her, taking in her sad face and you can tell she has been crying. You set your shoes down, a slight frown on your face. "Are you okay?" Jenna nods her head, her lip trembling. She was doing a horrible job trying to convince you she was okay.
You wrap your arms around her and pull her close. You can feel her body shaking as she sobs into your shoulder. You squeeze her tighter, trying to offer her some comfort. You whisper reassuring words in her ear, letting her know she isn't alone. You stay there, hugging her until her body stops shaking.
She pulls away, wiping her eyes and shaking her head as she forces a smile on her lips. "Shit, I'm so sorry--" You interrupt her. "Don't apologize." You whisper softly, "It's alright, I'm here for you."
"You have a game to play." She whispers back, you shake your head. "You're more important than a high school game." She looks up into your eyes, her own still glistening with tears. "Thank you," she murmurs, and she takes a deep breath as her shoulders relax. You smile at her, and take her hand in yours, squeezing it gently.
You pull her back into a quick hug, pulling away and placing a kiss on the top of her head. You don't know why but you just wanted to before you let her go. She looks up at you, a small smile forming on her lips. "Go play," she says. You pick up your shoes nodding before asking, "Are you gonna watch?"
She shakes her head and pushes you away gently. "I'm more of a soccer fan but I'll support," she says. You take a few steps back, watching her for a few moments before turning away and running toward your coach. She smiles before finding a place to sit on the bleachers. Your coach calls a timeout, discussing a game plan to sub you in as your team is trailing 15 points.
Eli pats your back while you bend down to tie your shoes, looking away from your coach's whiteboard to spare a look into the crowd. His face lights up when he sees Jenna, waving at her.
It is Olivia that is seated in front of Jenna, and she thinks Eli is waving at her and her friends, so she reciprocates. Jenna smiles and waves back, but Olivia's face falls when she realizes Eli was not waving at her. Olivia turns away, trying to hide her disappointment. She forces a smile back onto her face and turns to her friends, pretending nothing had happened.
The ref informs your coach that his thirty seconds are about to come to an end, you all break out of the huddle and prepare to step onto the court. The whistle blows and the game begins. Both teams battle it out, and the crowd cheers as the energy of the game fills the air.
As Jenna's anxiety creeps up at the scoreboard, she reaches for her ring only to remember it's not there. Jenna quickly shakes her head and refocuses on the game. Clapping loudly as you steal the ball from your opponent.
You quickly pass the ball to Eli, who dribbles it to the basket and makes the shot. The crowd erupts in cheers for your team. You give Eli a pat on his back as he jogs back down the court.
It's the fourth quarter and your team is trailing by two points. Twenty seconds left on the clock. You walk up the court, calling out a play. Eli sets a screen for you and you run to the basket. Jumping off one foot, you go for the layup only to get fouled badly. You land hard but still manage to make the layup.
The crowd goes silent at the loud smack that could be heard around the arena. You stay laying on the ground, the pain coursing through your body. Jenna stands up from the bleachers, worry on her face. "Don't be hurt," she mutters to herself, repeating the three words to herself.
Chris, your teammate along with Eli jog over to you, helping you onto your feet. You take a deep breath and smile, letting your teammates know that you're okay. You give Jenna a wave and a thumbs up, and she visibly relaxes, sitting back down. Chris and Eli give you a pat on the back and the crowd cheers, relieved that you weren't seriously injured.
"Come on, make the free throw baby," Eli says, patting your back. You nod and make your way to the free-throw line. You take another deep breath, focus on the rim, and take the shot. The ball sails through the air and you hear the swish of the net. The crowd erupts and you turn to Eli who is grinning and giving you a thumbs-up. You can't help but smile back, proud of yourself for making the shot.
The opposing team is left with nine seconds on the clock, inbounding the ball and rushing it up the court. The opposing team takes a desperate shot, but it hits the backboard and rebounds out. The buzzer sounds and the game is won.
The home crowd erupts in cheers and the players on the winning team rush the court to celebrate their victory. The players hug and rejoice, thankful for the hard work they put in to secure the win. The losing team stands in silence, feeling the disappointment of the loss. They shake hands with their opponents, showing respect for the other team's effort. The game is over, and the winners bask in the glory of their victory.
As the other team walks into the guest locker room, you walk to the bleachers with a jolly smile on your face. You're staring at Jenna who smiles at you. She blows you a kiss and you dramatically drop your jaw holding a hand over your heart. She laughs, her eyes twinkling with delight. You can't help but feel your heart swell with joy, knowing that she understands your silly gesture of affection.
You jump as you feel a pair of arms wrap around you, Jenna's smile disappears as she watches you hug back the brunette girl. "Olivia! Hey," You say, pulling away from the hug. She smiles in response, resting a hand on your bicep. "You did so well!" Olivia laughs, her eyes twinkling in the arena lights. You glance back at Jenna, who watches you with a frown. You give her a small smile, and she tentatively smiles back.
Eli walks past the two of you, making his way up the bleachers to Jenna. You nod at Olivia's words but your eyes are on the two, Eli and Jenna embrace in a hug, and Eli whispers something in Jenna's ear that makes her laugh. Olivia notices your gaze and follows it. She turns back to you and raises an eyebrow, her expression unreadable.
You look away, feeling embarrassed for having been caught staring. "Are you going to the party tomorrow?" You ask, and Olivia nods. Before she could speak your excuse yourself, joining Eli and Jenna at the bleachers.
The three of you chat for a while, and when you turn back to look for Olivia, she's gone. "Hey, Jen. Enjoy the game?" Jenna grins. "Yeah, it was very intense." You smile in response, "Well, I had to keep you on your toes somehow."
Jen laughs, "You definitely did. I think I'm going to go grab a snack before heading home. Do you need a ride home?" You shake your head. "Yes, please." Jen smiles at you, "Okay. I'll be at the front entrance." She says and heads off to get a snack. Eli turns to you, smiling. "Did you see her ring?"
You furrow your eyebrows, not remembering as you weren't paying attention. "Uh, no?" Eli's smile widens, "Exactly! Oh my god, this is one of the best days of my life!" Eli claps his hands and jumps up from the bleacher. He looks around, noticing the stares they were getting from the students in the stands. He leans in and whispers, "Come on, let's get out of here."
They quickly make their way down the bleachers and into the locker room. You try to remember if Jenna actually wasn't wearing her ring, but you can't remember. You follow Eli out of the locker room, still wondering if you were wrong. "See you tomorrow, Y/N," Eli says, parting ways with you. You send him a nod, seeing Jenna walking toward the main entrance, you follow her, and the two of you walk toward her car.
Jenna gets to her car and you place your bags in the back before entering as well. Jenna puts on her seatbelt and looks at you. "Hungry?" she asks. You shrug, "Not really. I'll just eat something at home." Jenna starts the engine and pulls out of the parking spot. She turns to you and smiles. "You scared me when you fell."
You laugh and look away. "It was nothing, I'm fine. Just a way to get the ref to actually call it." Jenna nods and puts her attention back on the road. You glance at her hands on the steering wheel. She wasn't wearing her ring. Would she mind if you asked? You take a deep breath and decide not to bring it up. You turn your gaze back out the window, watching the scenery pass by. It's probably better to just let it go for now, especially since she was crying earlier.
"Are you feeling better?" You ask, turning your head to her. She quietly nods her head and you let out a relieved sigh. You both sit in silence, the only sound being the hum of the engine.
"I thought you didn't have a girlfriend." Jenna randomly says as her mind reminded herself of the girl hugging you after the game. You quickly look away, not wanting to make eye contact with her. You clear your throat, not sure how to respond. "It's complicated," you finally say. "Well-- it's not. She likes me but I don't like her. Remember what I said when we were out for lunch?"
Jenna looks back at the road in front of her, feeling a little embarrassed. She nods silently before clearing her throat. "Yeah, I remember," she says softly. She takes a deep breath and continues to drive, her mind racing with thoughts. Some of them are about you and the others are about Jacob.
It was obvious she wasn't happy in her marriage, but she was too afraid to take the next step and leave. She knew it would be hard and she wasn't sure if she was up to the challenge. She was also thinking about what Emma said. She's an adult. She can make her own choices. Plus, she seems respectful. Respectful? You were more than respectful, she thought. You were selfless and more mature than the adults she knew in her life.
Yes, it might have taken two weeks but at least you apologized. You didn't exactly do anything wrong, it was just a lack of thinking and communication. And the way you were ready to prioritize her over your game, her husband couldn't relate. You showed that you can put other people's needs before your own. That you can be considerate and thoughtful. It's a good sign that you're growing up and learning to think of others.
When she arrived at a red light her eyes looked at you. Your head turned toward the window. She shamelessly examined you, your jawline, your nose, your eyes, your hair. Everything about you was attractive. She felt a connection between the two of you like she had known you for a lifetime. She couldn't help but smile, her cheeks blushing from the warmth she felt. She wished the light wouldn't turn green, so she could keep admiring you.
The light changed its color unfortunately, she had butterflies in her stomach as she realized what she's been thinking about. She was infatuated by you, and badly. No more denying it.

that one awful tiktok where a girl unironically bashes a guy she had a date with because they were supposed to meet at 6 pm at a restaurant and she messaged him at 6:10 pm she is on her way and by the time she got there at 6:50 pm he was nowhere to be found but with ghoap where soap is the guy and ghost is a waiter at the restaurant who approaches the sad looking soap and tells him 'they don't deserve you' and steals soap for a date after his shift ends.
It takes Ghost all of ten seconds to predict how this man's night would go, after witnessing his patient smile fall away for a saddened look only moments after glancing down at his phone screen. Ghost casts a look at the clock in the kitchen, reads 6:10, then turns to take the plates of another order sat in the window out to be served.
He's seen this sort of thing happen countless times before.
At some point, it just becomes a classic scenario for any waiter—one person shows up for their date, diligently on time, then lingers alone at their table for ten minutes longer than they're meant to. They receive a text—if they're even that lucky—then they wait another twenty, then finally realize they've been properly stood up.
If a waiter pities them enough, they might get a free drink or an appetizer. Nothing will be mentioned of the fact that they are unintentionally alone at a restaurant, because that is simply not a waiter's business.
That's just life with the godawful modern day dating scene. Ghost has seen the situation play out more than enough times to decide that it probably isn't for him.
Probably.
Because he finds his gaze continually drifting back to the man alone in his booth, and a tiny, shameful part of Ghost's brain is holding onto the hope that the date never shows up.
And because, when the man is finally resigning himself to slip out of the booth as it nears seven o'clock without the slightest hint of an appearance from his promised date, Ghost finds himself travelling over to the table before the man can leave, with a very stupid proposition in his mind and primed on his tongue.
Ghost clutches the laminated menus he had collected just prior with clammy hands, even as he projects an air of casualness like his heart isn't in his throat the second he meets eyes with the man.
Whoever had stood him up would surely have to regret doing so.
The waiter clears his throat as he realizes he's been staring too long at the man caught halfway through getting out of his seat.
"Sorry, I just... wanted to say that I think you deserve better company."
A brief look of confusion passes over the man's face before he glances to the empty spot across from him, shoulders hunching in on himself as his face goes lax, if not a bit irritated. He shrugs. "Nothin' I can do. Not looking for..." He sighs, peering up at Ghost with a strange expression crossing his face. He swallows. "Not looking for pity."
"I'm not here to offer pity," Ghost amends hastily. "I see this shit happen all the time, I get it." A deep breath. He never gets nervous like this, but something about the stranger was just so striking. "I was actually looking to ask you on a date. A real one."
The man blinks. "Oh?"
"My shift's over at seven. If that's something you're interested in."
The man seems to genuinely mull the idea over. His eyes flicker to the name tag pinned to Ghost's chest before looking back up at the waiter's face. "Don't see why not," he finally says. "Simon."
Ghost decides already that he likes the way this man says his name.
A smile tugs at the corners of Ghost's lips, only a faint pull. "Alright. I'll see you in ten minutes, then...?"
"John."
Ghost nods. Echoes, "John." Then returns to the final minutes of his shift with an odd sense of giddiness in his chest.
And later, during their date, when John receives an angry text from the woman that was meant to meet him wondering where he was after they had long left the restaurant, both him and Simon are able to laugh about it with a much better night to make up for the rest.

Flufftober Day 2: Coffee Shop
A/N: Next flufftober prompt is here! I had this idea almost as soon as someone asked for Silco for this.
Tumblr media
There he was again, that older man with the big coat and his slicked back hair and the scar on his face. He's been coming here for over a month now, without ordering anything and sitting in the corner, reading something that he brought with him.
Reports maybe? From the looks of him, the things he wore, the coat, the tie, the rings, the shoes, he was a very rich man. One that shouldn't have much interest in this quaint and plain little coffee shop. And yet he was in here every day, at the same time in the afternoon and left at the same time, always looking at you on the way out, smiling at you. Most places would kick out people who don't order anything but you understood that some people just needed a quiet place to think. So you let him stay, and maybe someday he would make an order.
You were going about your day as usual, him in his usual spot again when he suddenly stood up and walked up to the counter. Odd he usually never leaves this early, "Could I get two coffees? One should be the sweetest thing you have on the menu, and the other the strongest." His voice was not quite as deep as you imagined. Not that you imagined it a lot! Only a few times, purely out of curiosity.
"Um... is there another person joining you, sir?" There was an uncomfortable bubbling feeling in your chest which didn't make sense at all. You didn't know this man at all, this was the first time you spoke to him. For all you knew he could be married. God, why did you have to make it weird, "I didn't mean to pry, I just-"
He held up his hand and you instantly closed your mouth. A deep blush dusted your cheeks when you saw the way he smirked at you, "My daughter is joining me later today. She's attending collage on the nearby campus and we won't to get to spend as much time together these days."
"Oh. I see." He was a dad... but there wasn't a ring on his wedding finger...
"I'm single in case you're wondering." That came out of his mouth in such a natural seductive tone that you almost spilled the coffee over the counter. Was he flirting?
"I... can I have your name? T-To write on the cups! The coffee cups!" It was better when he was sitting in the corner, at least then you wouldn't embarrass yourself in front of him. He didn't seem to mind, in fact judging by his smile he really enjoyed it.
"Silco. With a C not a K. It's a common mistake people make. And for my daughter you can put Jinx." Silco with a C. Silco with a... C.
You stared at him, perplexed how you didn't put two and two together before. "Silco, the CEO of Shimmer Productions? The pharmaceutical company?" He gives you a grin and and nod. Well now you're even more confused, why would he be here of all places? Surely there are many more, much more high-end places for him to go to? But it would be rude to tell him that, wouldn't it? He might feel like you want him gone and that's the last thing you want. "Thank you for coming here so often."
"It's much cozier then my office, plus much better company." Oh yes, he was flirting for sure, "Did I overstep? You always look at me when I'm here, I assumed you wanted to... talk more."
"No! I mean yes! I'm sorry, I'm being weird. Uhm... here's your order, sir." For a moment you thought you saw his eye shimmer when you called him that. It must have been your imagination.
"Thank you. Would it be too forward of me to ask you when your shift ends? You've been very hospitable to me and I reward kindness."
"W-What kind of reward?" God you hated the direction your mind just went to, you were still at work!
His mirk almost reached his scar, "I was thinking something to drink but it seems to me like you have other things in mind." Caught red handed. "We can negotiate, I'm very good with that."
"I... yeah, okay, I get off at 8." Or much, much sooner if he keeps looking at you like that. Silco seemed to have been aware too, his fingers pressing against yours as he took the cups from you, "Enjoy your drink, sir."
"I'm sure I will. Do you want the tip?" Fuck. He really did know what he was doing. "Naughty little thing aren't you?" He chuckled and payed, giving you a very generous tip indeed. After that he returned to his table, completely unfazed while you really, really wished there was someone to cover your shift so you could take a break in the bathroom.

Care | HOOK
Tumblr media
Summary: Hook and you broke up. Anna with the help of Jack uses this to come for your championship belt. An unexpected hero saves you.
Author's Note: GIF has nothing to do with this it just makes me feral. 😭🤌
As always, requests. 🥺🥺
Life is hard working for a wrestling company. Friendships and relationships constantly came and went. You travel a lot and spent time with fellow wrestlers more than your own family. You swore you would never be with anyone in AEW until you laid eyes on Hook.
The relationship was physical at first. You both wanted to have sex without feeling bad for someone waiting for you to come home. It was nice at the beginning. You two would meet up together after the show. Times changed when you started developing feelings.
You were honest with him, but he wasn't interested in a relationship. The two of you were young. He wanted to experience the world. More like experience girls around the world. In order to avoid anymore hurt, you two decided to go your separate ways. That was three months ago.
Now you were getting ready to cut a promo in the ring. Your make-up was done and the championship belt was secure on your shoulder. Tonight was simple enough, anger Anna Jay. The two of you hated each other. It wouldn't be hard.
The unsettling feeling of someone watching you made the hairs on your neck stand. You turned to see the handsome devil himself. He was in a hoodie and sweatpants eating chips. His mind seemed to be in a different galaxy, but he was definitely staring at you. You missed being able to talk to him. Maybe that was a resolution for another year.
The familiar sound of your entrance music played in the arena. You walked out to the top of the ramp. The crowd went wild. Fans of different ages reached out for you to high five them.
The microphone was handed to you. An once rowdy crowd was quiet to hear you. You spoke your piece about Anna. Some of the insults were low. Tony gave you the green light to rile up Anna. You were going to take it. Your speech was cut off by Anna's music.
Anna came out with Jack in tow. She stormed to the ring. You dropped your championship belt in the middle of the ring to meet her outside the ropes. Anna was the first to swing. The two of you landing blows on each other. You never noticed Jack grabbing your championship belt from the ring.
"You think your fuck buddy is going to save you, Y/N?" She asked menacingly. You hadn't thought you would really need help. Normally, you weren't really put in jeopardy of actually losing the belt you worked so hard for.
"I don't need anyone," you scoffed. "I got in this business alone and I'll fight and die alone,"
"You think your are so funny?"
"Actually? Yeah," you answered truthfully. The crowd laughed at your corny jokes. You had to be funny. Anna pushed you to the ground. You landed on your hands and knees facing away from her.
'Rude,' you thought before getting up. You stood up and faced her. Before you could attack, Anna kicked you into the stairs. A scream of anguish sounded through the arena.
"What the fuck?" You asked yourself. Immediately the crowd gasped as their women's champ went down. Your head and back slammed to the stairs. Anna stood above you as you slid to the floor. The championship belt displayed on her shoulder. The camera zoomed in on the two of you. Your eyes pleaded for someone to help you.
"This is going to be mine, Y/N. I'm going to beat your ass until I say I'm tired. Do you understand me?" She yelled at you. You moved your legs as if to get up. She stood on your leg to stop you. Painful throbbing occurred under her foot.
The arena went dark. You were starting to wonder if you passed out. Your head throbbed and you were pretty sure your upper back fell out. The familiar rift of Chairman's Intent felt like an angel's song. Cheers filled the arena.
"We gotta go!" Jack yelled to her. Anna dropped the belt and ran with him into the audience.
Hook was at your side.
"Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?"
"I was hoping she'd kick that shitty attitude out of you," he countered and helped you to your feet. Hook grabbed your belt knowing how possessive you were with it. Your legs wobbled as he helped you up the ramp. Several members of the crowd wished you a speedy recovery.
You limped to medical with him helping you inside. Hook helped you on the bed while you waited for the doctors to run their tests on you.
"Thanks. I didn't think anyone was going to save me,"
"You didn't think I would save you?" He questioned.
"I didn't think you would care."
"I've always cared,"

My Perfect
L x Chubby Reader
A.N: ( See even though im like late I STILL POSTED! im on like grind yall but, this man so fine I'm like i must write my deepest soul wrenching words about him)
Tumblr media
I'm not perfect.
That's it. I tried every day as a kid to be perfect; pretty hair, small frame, soft voice everything to look desirable to others I tried to be. In high school I needed to be bold, thicker but not too thick, tall but too tall; never speak overly passionate it was a turn off, don't wear too much makeup it's like I'm a slut, and never can venture out and find a comfortable look for me. I never let the girl inside eat.
I wasn't berated though? Yes, I got stares when I wore something sitting and people saw my stomach, like yes mothafucka I got a stomach y'all thought it was a huge ass pot in my shirt? Yes, I did get the ' I'm sO cOnFideNt!' talk when I ate something like fruit, who doesn't like pineapple? When shopping I had looks of could I fit this or that and nobody ever comforted me when I would cry about not fitting jeans.
I was never perfect. But he never cared.

" What are you having for lunch?" was asked by my closest coworker, Maria she and I was friends since our college days when cramming information about law, statistics, and for some reason Shakespeare; we were forever. I turned to her in this damn rolling chair that was obviously not made for a girl with that thang back there, I mean why is half my leg practically on the floor? I thought about it for a second.
" I could go for quick burger, what about you?
" That's fine! Also did you finish your report? I didn't even get to..." I just stared at her though my head in space, Maria turned to see what I'm looking at and she saw a strange man walking inside the room.
" Um...I don't think he works here?"
" Is this when we got to fight for our lives? I don't have no weapon."
The man tall, dark unruly hair not curly though it looks like a one of those emo people from the 2000's like my chemical romance vibes, he has a homeless man look on him...its kind of sexy thought but, he doesn't work here?
We watch him while towards us and goes to the head manager cubicle that two rows ahead of us. We look at each other and look down acting like we're working but, we really being nosy. We hear only indicant chatter and the strange man's voice, his name is Riuzaki? Or Rukai? I don't know and our manager asked again, and he ignored the question and started talking about something different. Kind of rude but, with the way our manager is I'd do the same; Maria looks at me and looks at the time and tells me it our lunch break so, we both get up and I make sure to push down my jacket a habit I did as a teen to look slimmer, we walk out and down the little pathway to the front of the office when we get close to the strange man I turn my head down, his eyes immediately traced to me and he stared at me and he turned, kind of weird his eye contact was intense!
We walked over to the company lunch places inside it's a tiny burger spot filled with American dishes; we haven't really eaten there so we decided to try it out since it was also raining. Maria order first, a chicken salad with extra chicken and cheese with a large drink and dessert then it's me, a cheeseburger with fries and a large drink with a cookie; we wait a bit and sat down at a two-seat table and we talk about the sight we just saw.
" I wonder if he's trying to get a job here? "
" For what though? we ain't got nothing available yet."
" What if they fired somebody!? I heard but I didn't hear from department C that somebody was overusing company resources and they got let go."
" Omg, who?" Maria was going to say but we hear a buzz, and our food was ready we grabbed a tray and the person who gave us our orders gives me a look, ya'know the look of ' Breaking that diet huh?' Its common but still is annoying so I mean mug him back and he backs off. Sitting down we talk about our topics of choice like vacations, fashion trends, the latest news when the man from earlier comes down; didn't even see him till he pulled up a chair beside me and stared. Like what?
" Oh, Hello!" I introduced myself and Maria does the same, but how says nothing and stared at me.
" Are you going to eat that?" He points at a strawberry cookie I got, I look and shake my head "no' even though I was saving it I give it to him and smiled. He takes it and thanks me and then turned to Maria and asked how she feels about the company. Now, Maria is a sweet girl but, if she can't say her opinion without lying so she tries to say it's wonderful but, he caught on.
" Don't lie. I'm not going to do anything."
" Oh! but I'm not! really it's a won-"
" Your eyes turned up, when some people lie, they eyes turn up to think of somethings. Your hands turned over into a clasped position saying you're more of nervous than calm when I asked."
She's shocked and so am I, he takes a bite of the cookie and then looks at me to which I look away and he stares at me; deep black eyes pierced into, and I just look away because if I looked back what if he jumps me and I gotta kick and scream like that would be so embarrassing!
" Are you nervous?
" No, never"
" Hm...You look uncomfortable" He continued eating and I looked at Maria with a head tilt.
" So, what's making me uncomfortable."
" Your clothes, your shoes are hurting your feet by the way you walked quickly, and you have the heels of them off" He responded quickly, and I was shocked I mean he didn't lie. I just look and Maria excused her and mouthed ' Whoop his ass' and went to the bathroom, so now it's just us. We look at each other and I just shook my head and began eating again. He just looks at me and then turns his body towards me completely.
" What?"
" Do you like your position here?"
If I had the choice between working here and $20, I would pick $20 and a bag of skittles, it has it benefits from time to time but it not worth the headaches and long hours and I tell him just that. He hums and says nobody ever been that honest and I could care less, I listen and eat when he asked another question.
" If you're really don't like how you look why don't you change it"
It wasn't even a question it was like a statement like he knew, he knew from when he stared at me, he watched me. I look at him shocked and I just chuckled and threw the rest of my food away and left, texting Maria that I got sick. Walking away I see him get up and follow me, so ignored him; he just walked beside me and just looks either at me or around him hunched over like he finna throw up. Like what compells somebody to say that? Did he think I'm the one to try to play around with thing you'll get a good joke ooutta me? I should've shoved that damn drink up his stuck up ugy big headed-
" Your mumbling"
"...ok"
" If what I said made you mad just say it"
" If I did I'll go to jail for man slaughter."
He just chuckled, even though I'm pissed he sounded a little smexyyy but, I'll still beat his ass. I keep walking towards the parking lot, and he grabbed my arm asking can he be honest.
" I mean if back there wasn't honest I don't know what is"
He just stared (he got a staring problem) and began talking about how he meant that he saw me adjusting my jacket a habit he saw a lot of girls do when they want to look slimmer, then he saw the look his manger gave us me when I walked past, he said it was in utter disgust. As he went on all the insecurities from the past came again the girl inside of me just began to show, I looked at him blank, my hands started to sweat, my thoughts ran through me like a train, and I couldn't hold it anymore as a sob slipped through like butter from my mouth. I wiped my face and took a deep breath.
" Being a girl in Japan is hard, being black in Japan is harder, being a fat girl and black in Japan is like a war zone every day in my mind. From stares, to the so called ' complements', to everything inside growing out of me is like a constant war zone. Having men look at me like a 3rd class citizen is the problem, having girls treat me like I'm beneath them was the problem and no one had a problem with it."
" But who could care? It's not like I can change what they say with the attitude they expect from a black girl. I'm not perfect but, they wanted me to be and how am I going to achieve that? Huh?"
I stopped for one second and he just said nothing, all the bottled-up feelings I've had just overwhelmed me and I overshared.
" I think your perfect"
" Lying is a sin ya'know"
" Then good I'm an atheist. Your look is perfect."
How can somebody look perfect? With a body like this, my skin to people in this country are like a permanent plague, and my hair is just a warning to them on its own. I am not perfect, but he thinks I am. He's trying to help me feel better and it's not going to work.
" If this is perfect then-'
" You're not going to believe something if you denie it so much."
This man says that beautiful is different to everyone, like what people grew up with which is skinny, fair skin, and cute people they think it's a standard and everyone that's not all three of those traits are ugly. He said the way I feel is how he felt as a child he was never built manly, he was always so small and skinny people thought he was sick. It never bothered him; he seemed wiser as a kid then the whole world at its years; I couldn't even disagree with any statements I always found how people views change when they see unique things or common things and associate them with ugliness or beauty.
" For a homeless man your very smart"
"...I'm not homeless."
" Oh...then why you dress like you've seen a clothing store in life."
" I have seen a clothing store. I just don't see the appeal of dressing up."
He's an emo hippie. But nevertheless, I just listen and make my own few points. We continued walking and he stops me again.
" What's your name?"
" Reader Last Name, and your?
" Call me L"
' Hello L"
" Hello Reader"
Now we walk in comfortable silence, by the time I'm by the garage L asked for my number, his contact now ' Emo Hippie' and mines?
'My Perfect'
Tumblr media
A.N: ( i finshed! I love this one because i feel this irl about my body type but, i got over it and it's kind of hard to write L's dialogue without making him sound rude because he's only nonchalant. But, let me know if you like it!

We all talk about Rachel being a narrative ghost, but I'm thinking about the idea of Chloe becoming a ghost in Arcadia Bay if you choose to sacrfice her.
A patron enters the diner and orders a big stack of pancakes for breakfast. They notice an older waiter staring at them with a small sad smile before she goes back to taking orders.
A garbage collector goes to do their job at the dump. They find the words "Chloe Was Here" written on the wall and quirk an eyebrow as they wonder why that name sounds so familiar. Maybe it was in the paper awhile ago, but they suppose it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Instead they go about their day, their footsteps imprinting on the same ground that was once walked by a girl with blue hair and her "friend" who she cared about deeply.
A skater goes to the park and meets a bunch of skater boys doing tricks near the rails. One of them says his name is Justin and they're skating in honor of two women he used to know. The skater has never heard the names "Rachel Amber" or "Chloe Price" before, but when stories start being shared it almost feels like they know them too in a way.
A girl with brightly dyed hair sits alone by the Blackwell fountain before she's approached from behind. "I love your hair. It reminds me of an old friend." The girl with the dyed hair doesn't get the chance to fully reply before the girl holding a camera walks away.
A girl with a camera sits under a tree. The bullet necklace Joyce let her keep hangs over her shirt as she flips through the shots she's taken that day. Above her on the bark sits a blue butterfly that provides a silent company. The girl with a camera looks up at it with a smile.

I started replaying Jedi: Fallen Order last night, and it's been like an hour and my heart is breaking all over again. Look at this kid. Cal Kestis is barely 18 here, and he's just a baby covered in grease and oil leaping around incredibly dangerous wreckage in a job that's more like indentured servitude than a career. Passing through the scrapyard you overhear workers coughing (and not wanting to get it checked out) or complaining about company scrip. Prauf calls it out in a heartbreaking speech that engineers became scrappers, that their pay got cut, that things got more dangerous when the Empire took over. Cal's working in a death trap with nowhere to go. No wonder Prauf tried to tell him he should get out of here. How could you look at that face and not want to protect him?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's Cal in his Luke Skywalker era. Except where Luke wanted off a planet where he lived in the sticks (in the dunes) and nothing ever happened, Cal looks out over a planet where everything is scrap and trash and wreckage, and the Empire's boot smothers everything, and he has no dreams except old nightmares.
Tumblr media
(Also, look at this gorgeous photo. This game is just stunning. It's incredible how they recreated the look of all of the beautiful matte paintings from the time of the original trilogy.)
Tumblr media
Aaaaand here we go, the game gives you about 5 minutes before you dive headfirst in Cal Kestis' trauma, even if you don't know what exactly it is. The look in his eyes here is heartbreaking. Prauf was so strong to look into that thousand yard stare on this kid's face on the daily and not just lose it, honestly. Prauf, you the real MVP.
Tumblr media
The panic when Cal uses the Force to save his friend -- and in his surprise, Prauf calls it like it is, says Force and Jedi -- is devastating. Cal's frantic, taking his friend's face in his hands, begging him to please forget it, please forget it, please stop talking about it, please don't think about it, the way Cal tries not to think about it every single day --
Tumblr media
He's so, so scared.
I wonder if Cal's fractured relationship with the Force was a desperate act of self-preservation. While Cere cut herself off from the Force knowingly, what if Cal subconsciously did so as a way to protect himself? He must have crash-landed absolutely overloaded with terror, grief, anguish, even hatred for the clones who had turned on them. But if his connection to the Force splintered, if it shattered -- then those emotions couldn't lead him down a dark path. What if Cal accidentally insulated himself from the dark side? Because this is a face that is so frightened, and the dark could offer a solution for that, power that could save and protect him from such emotions.
Ugh I'm rambling. More nonsense to follow.

I've been staring at your ask box for about 20 minutes now because i'm speechless, your writing is so fucking good!!! I've even sent it to my friend (she is not into hbowar) and she was like woow, specially at Ares and Athena, sooo I was wondering if you could write more stuff like that? it's not like I've been shaking, crying, screaming at my screen while reading over and over again BUT PLEASE WRITE MORE SPEIRS X READER
Evaded by Hypnos
Tumblr media
Ron Speirs x reader
A/N: Omg hi anon! Thank you so much 💖 This ask absolutely made my day when I got it! Ares and Athena is one of my favorite fics that I've written, so I'm super glad you and your friend liked it as well! This is a prequel based off an off-handed line at the end of the fic about how Ron and the reader met. I really hope you like it! (and tagging @ronsparky since you wanted to read it 😁) As always, this is written for the fictional depictions from the show - no disrespect to the real life veterans! Warnings: language
The night sky hangs still overhead. Somewhere in the distance, machine gun fire pops in bursts, shattering any stillness that might have been about to settle over everyone. Some people can sleep through just about any conditions. Good for them. They’re probably the only ones managing to catch some shuteye. Meanwhile, everyone else is awake and in varying degrees of alertness, and all for different reasons. Some are too scared to attempt sleep, afraid that it might be the last time that they ever shut their eyes. But for Ron and those like him, staying alert is the only thing to do when sleep remains elusive.
D-Day has been hectic, to say the least. Scattered men have been trying to rejoin their companies. They’ve all been on the move, living one order to the next, one objective to the next. The frustration of the night has turned to exhaustion for many, as Fox Company remains elusive. Ron never would have guessed that their biggest challenge once they got to Europe would be trying to keep the companies in line as they moved. Which seems funny, in a sort of pitiful way, now that he’s alone and there’s time to think about it.
Lots of time to think about it. Hours stretch before him in the dark night. Now that they’ve got Talbert from Easy Company taken care of, Ron leans back in his foxhole, waiting for something else to happen, or for sleep to take him first.
You’re so quiet that he doesn’t notice you until you speak. “Lieutenant Speirs?”
Ron looks up. Through the darkness, he can just make out the shape of someone standing above his foxhole, staring down at him. Her voice is quiet, but firm. Ron sits up straight to get a better look. “Yes?”
You gesture down, indicating the foxhole, him, the room he has. “Mind if I join you?”
“Not at all,” he replies, already moving over to create more space.
“Thanks,” you say when you hop in and land beside him with a soft thump! Now that you’re closer, he recognizes you. Lieutenant (Y/L/N), from Easy Company. One of the women in the female paratrooper program – and one of the only women to become an officer so far. Maybe it’s the poor lighting, but it looks like you smile at him. “Went to make sure they had Talbert handled, and then came back to find that some of the guys had taken my foxhole.”
“You didn’t make them move?” Ron isn’t sure if it comes out as more of a question or a statement. Obviously you either didn’t make them move, or they chose not to listen to your order – a problem with some of the men when it comes to the gender of whoever is giving them a command.
You shake your head. “I’ve fought enough battles today.”
That doesn’t seem fair. Ron doesn’t know you personally – has never even spoken to you one on one before now – but he’s heard about you. And the popular consensus seems to be that you’re a good officer. The upper echelon seem to think so, and so do the men and women of Easy company. Good officers are hard to come by. They shouldn’t be left in the dark looking for a foxhole to spend the night in.
“Well, if you ever need a place to stay, my foxhole is always open.” The words are out of Ron’s mouth before he’s fully had time to realize how cheesy and awful they sound. Thank God for the darkness, because he grimaces, and when he hears you emit a small laugh, his cheeks feel a little warm.
“Thank you, Lieutenant. That’s very kind.”
“You can call me Ron,” he offers.
A pause. Great, he’s said the wrong thing again.
Or maybe not. “Okay,” you agree. “Thank you . . . Ron.” You don’t say it reluctantly, just slowly, like maybe it’s some sort of trick, or like you’re taking your time trying it out. “You can call me (Y/N).”
“(Y/N),” he repeats. It’s beautiful. It suits you.
There’s the clinking sound of metal on metal as you unscrew your canteen and take a sip of water. You sigh through your nose. “So, Ron. Why are you awake on such an exciting night?”
He starts to make something up, then thinks better of it. He’s only just properly met you, and yet, he feels that he can tell you the truth, even though most people probably wouldn’t believe him. It must be something about being under the cover of night; it’s a shroud that makes sharing secrets easier, somehow.
“To tell you the truth, (Y/N) . . .” He allows the words to hang there for a second to create suspense. “I just can’t sleep.”
In the darkness, he hears you replace the lid of your canteen. “Is tonight special? Or is this an ongoing issue?”
Ron blinks. No one has ever asked him that before. Back in training, everyone seemed to think that his lack of sleep was some sort of vigilance, like staying up late was a way to assert dominance over everyone, proving that he was fearless in the face of the night, like some sort of watch dog. Really, the simple answer was that he just couldn’t sleep. There wasn’t more to it then, and there’s not really more to it now.
“The latter,” he replies.
You hum. “Me, too.”
“Really?”
“Yep. Chalk it up to the war being so damn exciting, or something, but I haven’t slept well since Toccoa.”
“I don’t know about the excitement. Those horrible mattresses, maybe.” Ron grins, forgetting that you probably won’t be able to see it in the dark. You let out a short laugh, though, and he knows that for the first time since he joined up, one of his jokes has actually been taken as a joke instead of being misconstrued.
“Well, they were better than a foxhole,” you muse. He can hear metal on metal again as you open your canteen once more. “Sorry if I’m keeping you up, though.”
“You aren’t,” Ron promises. “In fact, it’s kind of nice having someone else with the same issue. Good to have company.”
“I agree.” For a moment, the two of you fall into a lull. Ron swears that he can feel you looking at him from the corner of your eye, like you’re sizing him up. He decides to make the first move.
“So, (Y/N),” he begins. “Where are you from?”
And that is the beginning – how Ares met Athena. All because Hypnos evades both, and the Fates tied them together because of it.

Thinking about the Solitaries recently.
There is not much lore, it saddens me.
I think from his interaction with Vala and #7 in his Tales, it's a case of the Solitaries becoming part of The Heroic Order after Valen's capture.
When he tries to be smooth with Vala, during that interaction she says "The Heroic Order are the swords and shields of the nobility. How can one be unaware of those who serve them?" Meaning the Solitaries as a group server under The Heroic Order and not just Valen.
Tumblr media
But from #7 in his Tales, one of the Solitaries is questioning how Hogan managed to catch Valen (referring to Valen as "the captain"), implying they were their own thing before this point.
Tumblr media
While it's currently unknown (as far as I'm aware) how long it's been since they began working under The Heroic Order, it can be assumed it's a while considering how Vala makes no mention of the Solitaries as anything except a branch of The Heroic Order
[This next part is from a conversation I had with my friend masondjar]
It would also explain why Valen does undercover work, I think before his capture the Solitaries were a lot more morally grey, definitely not legal by any means.
I don't think they captured him to make him join The Heroic Order, but he hit Hogan with that pathetic white boy stare and poor Hogan was like "oh he's baby... my child... my son now..." and they ended up striking some sort of deal.
In the words of mister d.jar because they put it in baby terms for me after my brain died and I like their funny words:
"i was just like. wondering if they were tasked to do other things before being ushered into the heroic order? i dont think they were doing everything the heroic order wanted them to do. it feels similar to anonymous and how people become white hat hackers. anonymous is a group of people who tend to "troll" big companies and people. leaking, doxxing, internet sleuth kinds of things but morally grey - not really good but not really bad. white hat hackers are people the government takes in to deal with, break down and study potentially harmful viruses, trojans etc. they typically come from a background of prior hacking and creating malicious malware. so with him being "captured" i dont think they captured him in order to ask him to join the heroic order - least not outright. he may have been a lot more morally grey at that point and had done some things the heroic order wanted him to "atone" for yknow - justice to its fullest sorta thing"
Uh so yeah thanks for attending my yap session about Mister Valen AFK Journey :]
