love that up til now watching virgin soul, each time i got to to the ED i was like ‘why does this cheery peppy song apparently from nina’s pov have lyrics that sound like they’re from a ryukishi07 character who has a shitty life but has been mostly-successful trying to create happiness for herself through various coping mechanisms, but is now straining under the reality of her absolute misery and loneliness and trauma and whose mental health is slowly getting worse, all of which is only exacerbated by those very coping mechanisms’

This community is for people who have just gone through something rough, and against better judgment, we are assuming you’re all decent beings.  No cyberbullying.  Whether or not something counts as bullying is up to the administrators’ discretion.

Don’t be upset if you don’t see yours on the blog.  It may have been ignored, overlooked, or  not up to our impossible standards.  We reserve the right to ignore any asks or take down posts regardless of reason.

Do not mention hot dogs at all anywhere on this blog no matter what.

There are a lot of stories and posts out there.  We want to hear about your life!  No stealing other people’s posts, stories, images, memes, or any other form of content.  All contributions must be original.

Guidlines:

We accept posts in form of textposts, memes, poetry, interpretive dance, song, strings of emojis, and anything else you can think of, as long as it’s anonymous.

In this group, you may share about experiences where you or a loved (or hated) one has been victimized by lack of brain cells; this includes times where you've played yourself, texted your ex, completely misjudged a situation, acted like a fool, told a joke nobody laughed at, became a 'dumb blonde' stereotype, or just sat there afterward thinking: 'man I really do be a whole dumb bitch,' without being judged.

The kind of stuff I post: This is a pure Repo! The Genetic Opera blog, mainly textposts, incorrect quotes and gifs (and random stuff about myself, but not much). Also aesthetics, quotes, fashion, gothic etc. which also has a relation to the characters of Repo! (or at least I like to tell myself this xD)

Do I have other blogs: two, in fact. One is my shitpost (though I hate that word xD) blog, the other a blog where I put my lyric edits that don’t fit repo. But there’s not much to see (so no links ^^)

Do I get asks regularly: Not regularly, no. But some, and I’m so thrilled when I get a message :D

Why did I choose my url: Because I thought it sounded cool. It is close enough to the original to be recognized right away but also shows my otp in the fandom (or so I like to imagine) and what kind of relationship they have.

Dream job: I’d love to be a professional lector. I’m already correcting manuscripts for friends (one of them is an actual author, she has already published more than 10 books and more are to come ^^) and am also working with a publisher (very, very small and only occassionally), but I’d love to make a living with it. Though I know I never will because I haven’t majored in any class that would count to that, so I can’t ask for enough money to make a living :D

How many blankets do I sleep with: normally two, except when it’s too hot ^^ But no matter how hot it is, I always need at least one blanket.
