First post! At least in a while. I used to have an art tumblr about 8 (omg) years ago but fell off using the website, then attempted to have a flight rising blog a couple years ago. I am excited to try again though I think the hardest part will be remembering that I need to resize images correctly LOL

I've seen a bunch of watcher!grian designs and decided I wanted on the bandwagon lol. I thought it would be cool if the watchers were humanoid figures, but you can only really make out the outlines of them + their bodies just look like you're looking into a galaxy than seeing any interior details.

I only added two sets of wings (one on the back, one on the head) but I like to imagine my watcher!grian can simply will himself as many wings as he pleases (as well as other limbs like eyes and arms)

#envy draws #art #artists on tumblr #illustration #digital illustration #gradient map noise chromatic aberration my beloveds #definitely one of my favourites I had so much fun w the colours for this #I was just using this to test out gradient maps but the pen tool I was using ended up having this really cool effect #bc the brush is kind of faded on one side which meant that part of the lines got assigned a different colour by the gradient map #bc it ended up as a lighter grey #which is why the brush strokes are dark blue in the centre but fade to pink #I think I’m gonna try this again sometime!!! it was really fun
