Most of my favorite rare pairs are polycules but the ones that aren't are probably Tsuyu and Shinsou, Kendo and Mei, Jirou and Satou, and like all of my 1b ships. Mei, Shinsou, and Izuku are probably my favorite polycule atm though
Mei, Shinsou, and Izuku is such a cute ship! I've never even thought of that one before!
Shinsou and Tsuyu have my whole ass, though so I just had to XD
Tumblr media
Wtf is the ship name for these two?? ShinTsu???

Beyond the Bell's Chimes | Part 37
"Behold, the newest power couple in 1B!" Sohee exclaimed as Jiwoo and Wonbin made their grand entrance into the classroom. The classmates erupted in cheers, fueling the teasing festivities led by Sohee and Suyoung, who were convinced that Jiwoo intervened to prevent them from forming heart shapes with their hands.
"Must you announce it to the world?" Jiwoo retorted.
"Finally, Jiwoo!" Gaeun cheered, and the collective agreement from the class added to the moment. "We've been shipping you and Wonbin since day one."
Jiwoo's face turned beet red. "What do you mean?"
"Well, no one handles Wonbin's rudeness like you do. He's tough on all the girls, but with you, he's a sweetheart," another classmate explained, redirecting attention to Wonbin, who shot them a glare.
"Since when am I rude?" Wonbin raised a brow, sporting a slight pout.
"So, spill the tea – have you guys kissed yet?" Sohee chimed in, instantly causing a burst of excitement.
"Have you?" Suyoung asked, shaking Jiwoo's shoulders vigorously. Wonbin, attempting to conceal his embarrassment, couldn't escape the vivid memories of their kiss.
"Uh, no... we haven't," Jiwoo stammered, seeking support from Wonbin, who was still grappling with the aftermath of that unexpected kiss.
"I find that hard to believe," Suyoung squinted her eyes suspiciously.
"Please, we really haven't," Jiwoo pleaded.
"I'll make it longer next time," Wonbin confessed, prompting an eruption of screams from their classmates. Jiwoo shot him a threatening gaze before retreating to her seat.
In the midst of the chaos, Minseul returned, only to find her classmates ignoring her. Confused, she approached her friends, but the cold reception surprised her.
"What's the matter?" Minseul asked, her voice sharp, noticing Gaeun and others giving her judgmental looks.
"Aren't we friends?" Hanbin replied. Minseul laughed, assuming it was a joke, but then Hanbin showed her a recording from the trip capturing her tripping Jiwoo.
"Are you still on about that?" Minseul scoffed, but the evidence was undeniable.
"What did Jiwoo do to you?" Hanbin questioned. "Do you like Wonbin—"
"Enough," Jiwoo interrupted. "Let it go, guys. I don't want a fight here." Anxious, she felt the weight of the situation as someone got surrounded because of her.
"It's my fault," Wonbin admitted, his voice stern and filled with responsibility. "Minseul and I are seatmates, and we discussed Jiwoo and my feelings for her. I asked for Minseul's help to understand Jiwoo better. My selfishness got everyone in trouble. I made Jiwoo cry, angered my best friend, and involved Minseul, who only lent a hand. It's all my fault, and I apologize for that."
Hanbin sighed, acknowledging, "You're a jerk, you know that, right?"
Wonbin nodded in agreement. "See? I didn't do anything!" Minseul protested.
"No, you still need to apologize to Jiwoo for hurting her," Wonbin insisted. "I have my own mistakes to admit. You should do it too."
"I hate you," Minseul expressed, glaring at Jiwoo, who appeared more innocent than ever. Despite her anger, Jiwoo approached, making Minseul momentarily apprehensive, remembering past conflicts.
However, Jiwoo took Minseul's hands. "It's okay," she reassured, embracing Minseul. Despite initial resistance, Minseul eventually calmed down.
"I'm sorry," Minseul finally uttered.
"It's alright," Jiwoo smiled. "I'm sorry for hurting you too."
"I deserved it, though," Minseul mumbled, recalling the night Jiwoo had twisted her hand.
"Thank you, and I still want to apologize to everyone," Jiwoo declared, addressing the room. "You're the first people who really cared about me, and I can't thank you enough for treating me so well."
"You're alright, Jiwoo," Hanbin reassured, smiling softly. He then separated Minseul from Jiwoo, offering her a comforting hug with back rubs. "I'm sorry, Minseul."
Wonbin and Jiwoo walked to the bus stop, the earlier confrontation still lingering in the air. Jiwoo, lost in thought, was startled when Wonbin reached for her hand, humming to catch her attention.
"Are you alright?" Wonbin inquired, a hint of sulkiness in his voice.
Smiling, Jiwoo shook her head. "I was just thinking about something else." She held his hand back, pulling herself into a warm embrace. As she buried her face in his chest, Wonbin stood stunned, his cheeks blushing and heart beating rapidly. It felt like the first time all over again.
"What were you thinking?" he asked, patting her back. Jiwoo looked up with a curious smile, their closeness deepening since they started dating.
"I am worried," Jiwoo confessed. "I feel like I've been giving people a hard time."
"Hey, what makes you think like that?" Wonbin asked, cupping her cheek.
"I'm used to being alone most of the time, but even with that, people get mad at me or dislike me," she shared, revealing the scars of her past bullying. "I have you, Seunghan, Suyoung, Sohee... the others. You guys take care of me so much that I feel like I've become a burden. I can only move or do things when I'm mad or threatened, and I don't know how to give back all of it to you."
Softly smiling, Wonbin pulled her back for a comforting hug. "I often wonder how else I can comfort you when you have these thoughts. We always tell you that we are here for you. Those people in the past should be forgotten."
"I know, but ever since what happened to me and Miri, it began to bother me," she continued, pulling away and nodding. "Okay, you're right. I should forget about them." She smiled.
"That's my girl," Wonbin said, cupping her cheeks and planting a soft kiss on her forehead. They shared a romantic moment when suddenly, someone behind them spoke.
"Shim Jiwoo."
It was her father, picking up her younger brother Woojae. Unaware that Jiwoo and Wonbin were dating, he observed the two, watching their affectionate display with a serious expression.
Later, at the dinner table with Jiwoo's parents, her mom excitedly sliced fruit cake, envisioning a handsome son-in-law. Mr. Shim, however, initiated an interrogation.
"What do you do?" he asked Wonbin, who struggled to find the courage to speak.
"Dad, we're in high school," Jiwoo interjected, holding Wonbin's hand for comfort.
"Are you the top student?" Mr. Shim continued, interrupted by his wife's assumption that Wonbin must be the brainy type.
"Actually, I'm 3rd... 3rd to the last," Wonbin confessed, but Jiwoo emphasized his artistic talents in music and arts.
"What do your parents do?" Mr. Shim inquired, revealing a bit about Wonbin's parents. Jiwoo bit her lip, unsure of the details.
"My mom's a doctor, and my dad's a businessman," Wonbin replied, attempting a thin smile.
"So they must be very busy," Mrs. Shim commented, feeling a hint of pity.
"It's alright. I turned out fine," Wonbin reassured.
"Where do you live?" Mr. Shim continued, causing Jiwoo discomfort. Wonbin, holding Jiwoo's hand, explained he lived near Seoul University Hospital but clarified their living situation.
"You don't have to explain that," Jiwoo tried to intervene, but Wonbin confidently continued.
Mr. Shim concluded, "I am a simple man. Take good care of my daughter." As he walked away, he invited Wonbin to stay for dinner.
"Thank you, sir," Wonbin politely replied, bowing his head. The two youngsters grinned at each other, and Jiwoo led him to her room.
"Keep the door open," Mr. Shim reminded, and Jiwoo excitedly showed Wonbin her room. It was decorated in black, white, and brown, with photos capturing their journey together. Wonbin noticed the purple rabbit he won for her and a framed photo of him singing on stage.
"I already saw it," Wonbin teased, reaching for the frame behind her. "Since when did you keep that photo of mine? I haven't seen that."
"You did not see it," Jiwoo protested, her ears reddening.
"You're still embarrassed now that we're dating?" Wonbin shot back, stealing a kiss from her cheek and taking the photo. "Wow."
"Hey! Give that back!" Jiwoo demanded, but he was too tall for her to reach. "It's mine."
"I'm not taking it," Wonbin said, teasingly. "I wonder who liked who first." He looked into her eyes, savoring the open door to their budding romance.
"I first noticed Eunseok," Jiwoo admitted, seeking to dispel the awkwardness. Although she intended to show Wonbin her room, their conversation veered off in different directions.
Wonbin, sensing his secondary position, frowned and sighed. "I know. I always come second." Turning away to conceal his disappointment, he muttered, "You know, I can't seem to escape that."
Jiwoo playfully wrapped her arms around his waist, preventing him from pulling away. "Sorry. I like you more," she reassured him, and Wonbin, softened by the gesture, turned to face her.
Realizing the private setting, Wonbin reminded her, "We're in your room, and your parents are downstairs. Your dad might not appreciate this."
"I can't help it when we're alone," Jiwoo grinned, "too shy to show affection at school." Their playful exchange was interrupted by a familiar voice – Jiwoo's dad catching them in another romantic moment.
"DAAAAAAAAD!!! YOU'RE EMBARRASSING ME!!" Jiwoo yelled in frustration.
After a delightful dinner, Jiwoo accompanied Wonbin to the bus stop. She wore her jacket and, considering the cold, gave him her scarf. Walking hand in hand, Wonbin stole glances at her, appreciating the warmth of her care.
"What are you smiling about?" Jiwoo asked, squeezing his hand.
Thinking of their first fight, Wonbin chuckled. "I was mad because I thought you were like other girls, but you chose to beat some sense into me."
Jiwoo laughed, recalling the incident. "I still want to apologize for that. You were so annoying."
Wonbin filled the gaps in her hand with his fingers, asking, "Do you think we'll make it together after our freshmen year?"
Jiwoo's smile was tender. "Change is constant, and we're in love. We'll face challenges, but we can do this together."
Wonbin nodded. "Promise me we'll be there for each other."
"No need for promises. That's what I'd do for you," Jiwoo replied. "I want to grow with you, face challenges together."
"We will, Jiwoo," Wonbin affirmed.

📂📂?!?!!
Spiky fluff for you!!
Bakugou and Monoma being low key besties but nobody realizes. Hear me out.
Monoma likes poking people until they explode, and Bakugou likes exploding annoying pieces of shit. Naturally they gravitate towards each other. After the fourth time Monoma goes out of his way to get on Bakugou’s nerves and stays for the aftermath, plus the second time Bakugou actively seeks out Monoma during joint training, they both come to a silent agreement: this is Their Thing now.
Basically whenever they’re feeling pissy, they just. Bully each other. For fun.
Monoma throws food at Bakugou during lunch, and Bakugou lets the rage build and gives him a swirlie during passing period. Bakugou shoves Monoma in a hallway, and Monoma writes mean, insensitive shit on his desk. It starts out pretty venomous, but before they know it, they’re acting like bratty siblings rather than actual enemies - i.e. no real harm meant, just two assholes letting off some steam. It’s a competition. They’re enjoying themselves, seeing how badly they can fuck with each other.
The only problem is that everybody else is left painfully unaware of their little arrangement.
Class 1B sees Monoma walk into class with scuffed clothes and his hair wet from toilet water. They see Bakugou target him aggressively during training, channeling the fibers of his middle school self and saying the absolute worst shit. They see how Monoma seems to expect it every single time, how he loses every single time, but still gives as good as he gets when it comes to the venom spewing from his lips.
Class 1A, meanwhile, hears all that venom. They hear it in the cafeteria, in the halls; they see it scrawled on Bakugou’s desk and on his locker. They watch as Monoma spits in Bakugou’s food, then throws his own at the boy’s head - and they watch as Bakugou does nothing. Just sits and takes the words and the spit and the shitty food projectiles, and sure, he blows up and yells and curses up a storm, but he doesn’t do anything. It’s like he’s just resigned himself to it.
They don’t realize that Bakugou isn’t just taking shit - he’s planning his own. Waiting for the opportune moment to screw that motherfucker over.
Instead, they see him at practice, attacking that yellow-haired prick with a vengeance, and they think Monoma deserves worse than that. That he deserves to be held accountable for his actions outside of training.
Needless to say, the rivalry between classes 1A and 1B reaches new heights, with both groups rallying around their respective asshole blondes. It gets to the point where Monoma can’t go to the restroom without a pseudo-bodyguard, and Bakugou can’t sit for more than two seconds without being aggressively snuggled.
(Legitimately. His squad glomps him when he sits to eat in the cafeteria, while he’s sitting on a bench during joint training, after he sits on his desk in the classroom. On the couch. Whenever. If they have the chance to hug and praise him, to erase what they can of the horrible words thrown at him every day, to show that he’s loved, they take that chance without hesitation.)
(No, Bakugou does not admit that he is both flustered and flattered by all the attention.)
(Yes, everyone notices.)
Deku and Todoroki have both turned into the human equivalents of hypervigilant guard dogs, and Uraraka isn’t far behind. If Tetsutetsu glares at Bakugou in the hallway, Hagakure is immediately there to trip his feet. Kouda may or may not have ordered a few squirrels to scuff up a few shit-talking 1B students. Monoma tries to throw a rice ball at Bakugou, and Satou responds with weaponized creme brulee.
It’s chaos, especially since class 1B responds in kind.
Meanwhile, Bakugou and Monoma obviously notice their classmates’ hostility. They keep trying to fuck with each other only to be intercepted by the opposing class, and it’s honestly getting on their nerves - Bakugou especially. Monoma realizes it eventually (and elects not to clear anything up with anyone because he’s a little shit), but Bakugou remains painfully oblivious to the fact that his classmates are trying to protect him and not simply getting really into the class rivalry for some reason.
And again, these boys are bratty siblings. They can talk shit about each other all they want, but at some point it became taboo for others to do the same. So whenever one of their classmates has the nerve to talk shit, both immediately jump to the other’s defense. It’s a clusterfuck. Everyone is confused and angry and protective. Deku thinks Bakugou is letting this happen out of a place of guilt and can’t fucking stand it, because he loves his Kacchan so much, and he thought this whole letting-himself-suffer-for-atonement thing was over but apparently not, and it’s just. It’s a mess.

Omg do you have more cute hcs with the lov and class1a/1b
I dont care how long or short it is, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE READING THEM 💕💕💕💕💖 😊😊
Theyre so comforting <333
YES I HAVE A BUNCH. COME TAKE IT ALL.
Tomura is an expert in video games, right? Well, he's currently working from afar with Hatsume and Melissa to create a VR system to help the kids at UA train.
Everything because the first thing he did when meeting Nezu was telling him the UA system sucked.
No more public exposure, no more simple barriers keeping away the villains from the kids, no more pushing them to dangerous places with no proper supervision.
The new job of the League when it comes to working is the UA is keeping the place as safe as possible and helping the kids recover from the trauma of the war.
Dabi doesn't like working directly with the kids, so his job consist on patrolling around the UA. In case a crisis is reported, he's the first at the place and his job is to keep the crisis on minimum 'til the teachers arrive.
The funniest part is the type of crisis he has solved so far. They include:
Helping people with their crushes because they tried to confess and caused an accident. (Dabi has the fun of his life with it, being honest).
Accidents in the kitchen. (No much he can do except using Shoto as a way of taking down the flames).
Stupid fights (He is banned from helping in those since he cheered for Shoto when he was fistfighting Iida for saying something to Midoriya).
And his favorite: keeping Mineta at bay. Dabi is not the type of gentleman that defends women constantly, because he just doesn't care about helping anyone. But Mineta is a type of gross he would have incinerate in the streets if he was a man and not a kid. So instead, he just walks from a safe distance and keeps scaring the kid when he's about to annoy one of the girls.
Tomura always find Dabi is the halls complaining about the no smoking rule
They make fun of each other a little until they realize they should be working and there are kids staring at them.
Class 1-A talks about Dabi like the older brother who was in jail.
Oh, but Dabi told me...
They are actually well informed about a bunch of stuff and they know how to take care of street criminals better now.
Ah, but they're also the ones who check if he is not drinking too much, if he's having proper rest, if his burns and staples are taken care of, if he's not too anxious or depressed, if hes' taking his meds...
If he's not following one of those, they call Natsuo. Oh man, Natsuo has become the emergency contact of half the League somehow. Maybe because he has a golden heart or maybe because they all are scared of Fuyumi by some weird reason.
Shoto is the other emergency contact when it comes to Dabi, hmmm, but sometimes he just follows Dabi bad example and well.
Dabi is the anti-Santa. He's gonna give you that one gift you wanted but everyone said no because it's dangerous.
"Dabi, I'm trying to make a safer space for the kids" , "Tomura, I'm trying to make them relax".
After getting fired twice by Aizawa, Dabi is finally behaving.
This has nothing to do with the fact that he's finally dating Tomura tho.
WHICH TAKE US TO: SPINNER, THE BROTHER WHO ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGES HIS RESPONSIBILITIES.
Spinner works in the same thing as Dabi, but he's the reliable one.
Getting Uraraka down when she starts floating on her sleep, calming people down when they're having anxiety attacks, noting when someone is having a bad day and requesting the teachers to let the person rest...
Spinner is the one actually helping them with their ptsd. He makes everything so easy and pleasant. It's like they're just kids taking classes and having fun.
Besides, class 1-B knows he is amazing at cuddling and people love his hugs. Just by seeing Spinner, they cheer up.
He and Shinso are responsible for the purple hair tendency among the kids of General Studies. Their heroes.
He's also the one who helps the kids with their training sessions when they need a partner but there's no one else to help them.
He became one of the official bus drivers of the school after taking some lessons and requesting a license.
He sings with them while they travel, he always has snacks in case someone is hungry and he has pills in case someone is motion sick. Well, a bunch of pills since Dabi is always motion sick.
He had a crush on Tomura but he realized it was more platonic than anything.
Now now, Tomura and Spinner have matching gamer tattoos that said Player #1 and Player #2. Dumbasses in action.
If Dabi is the problematic uncle and Spinner is the responsible uncle...
That leave us with: Compress the artistic dad and Kurogiri the dad who's always working far away but you can totally rely on.
THE VIDEO CALLS WITH KUROGIRI AND COMPRESS ARE SO CUTE.
101 Flirting with Compress.
All the kids in all courses have a personalized mask. Compress is addicted to creating them.
His beautiful, mischievous kids that once, trying to distract him, stole his prosthesis and kept it going around the school from room to room.
Turns out it was a surprise party, but man if it was fun because Compress pretended the whole time he was a pirate looking for his long buried treasure.
HE GOT A PARROT AND HE NAMED HIM RED BEAK.
Bakugo almost exploded the whole place after hearing such a ridiculous name.
Well, Red Beak loves making fun of Bakugo, repeating everything he says.
RED BEAK AND KIRISHIMA ARE BESTIES. YES YES.
The Bakusquad would kill for Red Beak.
Sero is teaching him Spanish, Mina is teaching him to dance, Denki is teaching him bad jokes and Jirou is teaching him to sing.
Tokoyami is the official protector of Red Beak. Koda is the translator.
On the other hand, Kurogiri always gives them some honey and other things when he visits the school.
He congratulates them on their achievements, he hears them for hours talking about their adventures and he is the old friend you call when it's 3am, you're feeling bad but you don't want to worry no one else.
If you want to solve a problem, call Kurogiri. He's gonna give you the clues but let you solve it yourself.
The award for the dad with more patience goes to: KUROGIRI.
If you really really need to run away from some hours, he can use his quirk to rescue you and he would prepare some tea for you, wrap you in a soft sweater and walk with you through his yard. You can pick flowers or fruit with him until you calm down. Or you can watch old movies with him. Or bake. Being with him is like floating around in the sky, no worries, just clouds and stars and soft noises and lights.
The school always knows when it happens and they are okay with it. Mostly. Just don't do it too much.
Toga is another good option if you need to talk but you don't know with who.
She's actually a great listener and an expert on making things look less stressing than they are. You see, she pays attention at your triggers and moods and if she sees something is bothering the students, she finds a way to distract them immediately, while letting the teachers deal with the problem.
Ah, the queen of gossip.
If you want to know something about someone you need to pay the prize, tho. And she won't even tell you if she considers the secret must be guarded 'til the grave.
She's the one who takes the messages to the parents because she's fast, can hide at plain sight and doesn't put them in danger.
You never know where Toga is. She someone studies like the rest of them, but she's like, selected to secret missions. She has a lot of info but they all trust her somehow.
Maybe is the fact that she would kill and take a stab for you. And that she would never put Deku or Ochaco in danger. Or her family.
She's also Mineta's biggest nightmare.
Try sexualizing the girl and win a terrifying week, courtesy of Toga Himiko.
She won't let you sleep, she won't let you eat, you're gonna wish you were never born. She can make you feel as sexualized, observed and stalked as you make the girls feel. Oh, she's gonna show you exactly how it feels to be a girl.
Also don't sexualize the boys around her either. Stabby queen is not gentle to those who are not gentle with her friends. Period.
Friendly reminder: 0 stabbing accidents since she started studying at UA.
BECAUSE THEY GAVE HER A RUBBER KNIFE.
And finally, the Tomura headcanons.
He's always falling asleep on odd places. The kids have a new name called "let's put a blanket on Tomura".
And then they call Dabi or Spinner to take him somewhere more comfortable.
He's working so hard. He's really working so hard on redeeming himself, even when everyone has already forgiven him. But he has this fear of being a failure or being too much...
The kids are also well trained on how to help him through his anxiety or panic attacks. Even more, some of them have always a pair of gloves in them just in case.
Momo is more than happy to make him more.
It's kinda sad how much he's suffering even now. That's way they all do their best to let him know his doing great.
Kisses in the cheek, compliments on how he's looking, new products to his hair and skin, playing the games he recommends, telling how badass he is when he trains them...
Somehow being around Tomura has help them realize how important is communicating stuff. They all are way healthier now.
Tomura is just... So sincere. He's been instructed to share his thoughts, because he had a problem before with communicating properly. That means he used to forget saying certain information because it was obvious to him, but not to others.
He doesn't mean to hurt people. He's just saying what he thinks. Which also means he offends a bunch of people not by accident. And he doesn't apologize because he is just doing what he's been told.
Midoriya and Shigaraki's discussions are epic. And so are their fights. Yes, they fight like siblings. Which is crazy funny because they are like "friendly reminder you tried to KILL ME" and "WELL YOU DESERVED THAT FOR BEING A DICK".
They've finally found out that you can complain to him or get a little violent and he's not gonna even blink, just hear you out.
It was because Bakugo got a little violent with him and yeah, he just stared back waiting.
You can't imagine Dabi's anger when Tomura told him about Kotaro. He was frustrated because at least Tomura did step on Endeavor and humiliated him for life, but him? He is angry with a man that's dead and gone.
Okay no, the whole League is angry about the things that has happened to the whole League. That's the thing with finally being able to relax and feel. It all comes back in a flood.
They have prohibited being around school when the parents visit. Specially because they are no very civil to shitty parents.
And if a kid confess about having shitty parents, oh boy. The League is gonna BE PISSED.
The UA is still a total chaos, but now in the right ways. They have more normal problems, they don't have to win war and kill evil lords, they complain about not having money to go out and forgetting their homework. And the ex-villians can complain about life being boring a needing more action.
That's a good thing. That means they all are healing, together.
They're gonna be fine.

Christmas Masterlist
Perihelion by tauontauff
Bakugou was a comet, blazing out of reach. Kirishima knew he was stupidly lucky that his furious trajectory went by close enough that his fingertips got to graze the cowl of fire. It was enough.
During Christmas Class 1A and 1B spend a laid-back week learning about extreme environment hero work in the Alps. Kirishima was used to keeping part of his feelings for Bakugou hidden, and had every intention of keeping it that way, but things don't always go according to plan.
Gifts of a Lifetime by FoolishFortuna
Two more sets of laughter rang out, and Eijirou turned his head, looking just past Bakugou’s dorm room door to see Mina standing on Sero’s shoulders to reach the tall ceiling as he fed her tape from his elbow to hang up decorations.
Wait.
Not decorations exactly. Mistletoe.
He looked up. What the-?
There had to be at least a hundred sprigs of the stuff; some fresh, some clearly fake plastic, and some even made from green crepe paper with tiny white Pom-poms glued on. They dotted the whole corridor ceiling, green and white and festive… and most worrying - mainly clustered right around his and Bakugou's dorm room doors, and the area between them.
Stargazer by Maplefudge
Wherein every single Christmas, Kirishima and Bakugou queue up for hours to buy food. Bakugou hates it (not really).
Blame It on Christmas by KiriBakuHappiness
So, that’s how it all started, really.
That’s how Kirishima Eijirou single-handedly, and by great accidence, ruined Bakugou Katsuki’s life. With a simple joke gift.
Everybody wanted to hug him.
Like Crystals, They Reflect Light by LacePendragon
With Christmas right around the corner, Bakugou wonders if now is the time to tell Kirishima how he feels. He’s never been good at dramatic timing, but everyone confesses during the holidays in the movies, so it should work, right?
He’s never been a coward, but fuck if this isn’t terrifying. You can’t exactly punch your feelings, after all.
Dreaming of a White Moca Christmas by let_me_wander
Kirishima loves his job at the coffee shop, and he loves his friends and coworkers, but it's hard to really feel the holiday spirit when his only plans for Christmas involve working the holiday shift on his own.
But when you add in a snowstorm, a grumpy regular who he may or may not have a crush on, and a whole lotta coffee? You might just find some Christmas magic...
Mistletoe Woes by haleofstilesheart
With winter break on the horizon, Class A decides to throw a Christmas party to celebrate. And what good Christmas party doesn't have mistletoe? At least that what Kirishima thinks about while hanging out under the mistletoe to wait for a certain hotheaded blond to wander over. That is until Todoroki accidentally winds up under the mistletoe with Kirishima, setting a few jealous tempers alight.
tell me it’s real by rronanllynch
alternate title: you showed me what it’s like to be free
or
Katsuki agreed to go to Kirishima’s work Christmas Party. He also agreed to pretend to be his boyfriend. Katsuki is an idiot.
ho ho hopefully by cherryraindrops
Kirishima has to work on Christmas Eve, Midoriya busks to get by, Bakugou misses his daughter, and Todoroki hates Christmas.
Of course, Christmas is a time for miracles, and these four are about to be granted one.
winter doesn’t linger here by drifting_i
“I don’t want you to leave,” Kirishima admits. “I mean, it’s break, man. For the first time in months we don’t have school breathing down our necks so we can finally hang out like we used to and I did miss you!”
“We saw each other last week,” Bakugou says, deflecting.
“Still.” Kirishima smiles sheepishly.
Something Warm by let_me_wander
When an annoying customer with ridiculous hair starts frequenting the coffee shop Bakugou works at in the weeks before Christmas, he doesn't think much of it. Until it becomes all he can think about.
Awkward flirting, the first snow, a rock show, and probably way too much coffee.
Too Sweet by QwertyTop
Walking through the snow on a cold winter night.
Wrapped In Love by sincerelyjaime
By the time they entered their final year at UA, everyone knew that Bakugou was the best gift-giver. It may have seemed like he didn’t pay attention to any of the extras in his class, but he was always watching and learning. He couldn’t become the very best if he didn’t know the ins and outs of his classmates, couldn’t beat them if he ignored them. So, yeah, he paid attention, and he did it well.
Except it was two days before Christmas and he had not gotten Kirishima anything and he was panicking. Kirishima was his best friend, his best fucking friend who deserved the world, and Bakugou was not prepared to mess this up for him.
But what do you get someone who deserves the world?
Resting Grinch Face by idioticfangirl
Bakugo isn't into Christmas. He doesn't see what all the fuss is about. He'd rather be left alone to do his own thing.
Kirishima is determined to make their first Christmas in the dorms as perfect as possible.

The Experiment Chapter 6
"Will F/L/N Y/N please report to the office?"
I ignore the 'ooooohhhhh she in trouubllleee's' and head down.
"We've decided to transfer you to 1 A. One of our previous students decided the hero course is not for him, and someone from general studies is going in, however, Aizawa refuses to re-teach the new kid what he's already taught the others, so we need to transfer someone from 1 B in, and since you were already being considered, you're the perfect candidate." The little rat grins at me. Who the hell is Aizawa? I've never heard of him.
“Ok. Sounds good.” I figure there’s no point in fighting it, the alternative is expulsion. As I’m walking over to the door, the rat speaks again,
“Oh, you’ll be moving classes now, so go get your stuff. We figure the faster the transition, the smoother." What am I supposed to do about my friends?
"Can I say bye to everyone?"
"Of course." He says a grin on his little rat face.
Great, now I have to reintroduce myself, and avoid questions, and explain my quirk all over again. One the bright side, I'll be with that Momo girl… she was super pretty. Oh, and that jackass blonde kid, and that bitchy two toned.
On my way back to my old class, I plan out what I'm going to tell Monoma. Poor kid, they don't get him like I do.
I sigh and push through the heavy door.
"Hey, what was that about?" Kendo's face is knitted with concern once she sees my expression.
"I have to transfer classes. To 1 A."
The classroom is silent. Vlad king looks disappointed. He loves all his students and had grown quite attached to them, as he did each year.
"No, you can't leave us for them!" Monoma said, betrayal flashing in his eyes. "You can't leave me…" he whispers to himself. 'Not for those 1 A brats, who, like everyone else in his life, believed he couldn't be a good hero. They insulted us, called us worthless, and now they think they can take you away? His first friend he's had in a long time?'
"We can still hang out during lunch and after school and stuff Monoma, I'm not dying."
But he wasn't listening to me. He looked like he was having a flashback. 'Does she think they're better than us? Is that why she's leaving? Because I'm not good enough? But, I'm just as good as them, we got in on the same test… there's really no difference, just letters. I'll show those bastards how good we are. That will prove to her that we're the same.'
Tetsutetsu was a bit disappointed too. He enjoyed having such a tough girl in class. You fought those bullies! It wasn't a crush, per say, more of an admiration for your spirit.
2nd person
On the other hand, Pony was glad you were being transferred. Not in a rude way, no, actually quite the opposite. She remembers you fighting those jerks, and knows that if you are in class 1A, you can ride off the wave of fame from that villain attack. The more famous you are,,, the easier to become a pro.
But not that you would know this.
Back to Y/N
I wonder what these new kids will be like. They can't all be selfish jerks.
Outside of the 1A door, I hear a muffled voice say,
"A new student is being transferred in, in Mineta's place." Footsteps alert me that he, whoever he is, is approaching the door. "Come in." He says as it opens. Oh shit, it's that teacher who caught me fighting. I step through the door, which is conveniently wide, easier for my wings to get through.
"Hey, I'm F/L/N Y/N. Uh, I'm from 1B and my quirk is Raven."
"Good. Sit behind Midoriya, Midoriya raise your hand." He said, sounding sleep deprived. A green haired boy raised his hand, and I walked over there. In front of Midoriya, was the jerk. As I walked by, he scoffed and said,
"The fuck's wrong with your face." I ignored him. He didn't deserve my answer. Behind my seat was Momo. Oh good, I get someone nice. Next to me was a guy with a black bird head. He looked me in the eyes and said
"Ah, a fellow creature of darkness." He looked so dramatic as he said it, like he was a stabbed poet. He must have been talking about my wings and I didn't know what to say, so naturally, I said,
"Ok." He seemed satisfied with my answer, and he turned back to Mr Aizawa. Behind him, was the two toned jerkface who wouldn't let me sit with him. He looked at the scars on my face, his face blank, and then looked away. What a weirdo.
"Copy down these notes." Mr. Aizawa said before pulling out a yellow sleeping bag and slumping down. Wait, What?
"Yeah, he does that," says a guy with pointy bangs, "we've gotten used to it by now." I nod in acknowledgement, and look down at my paper. Fuck. Small problem. I can't read. I know my name, and how to write it, but other than that, I never learned. Kei read me the textbooks out loud, and the acceptance letter was verbal. Vlad King read the notes out loud as he said them. Oh my god. I'm in high school and I can't read. This is horrible, people will find out, I'll be kicked out of UA for being stupid. Momo tapped me on the shoulder.
"Are you ok? Is Midoriya's muttering bothering you?"
"What? Oh, no." I hadn't even noticed. As I listened closer, I realized he was saying the notes out loud as he wrote them. As I listened, I pretended to look up at the board and wrote my name over and over as I listened. Perfect.
The lunch bell rung, and the class filed out. The green haired boy, Midoriya, walked towards me, a smile on his freckled face.
"Hi! I'm Midoriya Izuku! How does your quirk work? Does it have to do with those splotches on your skin?"
"Nah, they're burns. My quirk is pretty self explanatory," I said, widening my wings for emphasis. "Oh, and I can do this," I hardened my wings and shot the blades out within seconds. His eyes went wide as they pinned his arm to a wall. A brown haired girl ran to his side.
"Deku are you ok??" She looks like she's worried enough to faint.
"You shouldn't use your quirk so recklessly!" A blue haired guy with glasses started scolding me.
"Chill out, he's fine." I said as I started to walk away. I heard a faint snort from the back, and when I turned my head I saw the blonde bastard staring me down.
"You got a problem?" I said, loudly for everyone to hear.
"Yeah, you better not be thinking you're better than me!"
"Hey man, chill out," a red haired guy grabbed his shoulder and he turned and glared, then shrugged him off a couple seconds later, but he didn't continue his speech to me. He stomped out of the room, backpack slung around one shoulder.
"Sorry about him," the red haired guy said, rubbing his neck,"he can be a little-"
"Bitchy?" I interrupted.
"Um, yeah…"
"Badass." I heard a whisper from the side of the class. When I turned my head, a yellow haired boy winked at me. The green haired boy, Deku, or whatever was gaping at me. He looks like a pushover.
On my way out, after a few other kids, I heard the yellow one talking to a pink girl. I didn't pay attention until I heard my name.
"I bet 5 dollars she'll sit at our table." The yellow one said.
"No way! She'll totally sit with Todoroki! You see those marks?" There must be an invisible person in this class, because there were floating clothes.
"I think she'll sit with Deku, he seems to like her." That pink girl said.
"I hope she sits with us, she's so manly! Though Bakugo doesn't like her…"
"Kirishima, Bakugo doesn't like anybody but himself…"
I ignored them and walked out.
I could feel a couple eyes on me as I walked into the lunchroom.
"Oh." I heard from a couple people in 1A as I sat down with Monoma, Kendo and Tetsutetsu.
"So, how's the famous class 1A. Do you have any dirt on them?"
"I don't know. They seem normal. The teacher sucks though."
"So they're not as good as everybody says?" Kendo looked disappointed in my answer.
"No. Nothing special. " I said.
"So what's the deal with my spot? Do they have a new person yet?"
"Nah, they said they're gonna wait till after the sports festival to see who can earn the spot." The silver haired boy spoke for the first time. "I'm excited to shove it to those 1A bastards."
"What's the sports festival?"
All three stared at me.
"It's a competition between classes of U.A. haven't you seen it on TV before?"
"Um, no," I said, shifting my wings uncomfortably, "I've never had the chance with all my training." Usually I'm a good liar. Strange.
We ate, and the bell rung again, signaling the end of lunch.
"Bye guys, see you later!"
After lunch, it was time for basic hero training.
"I AM HERE!" The large man yelled. It's Allmight. This would be so cool if I actually gave a fuck.
"Everybody suit up and meet me in field A!" He said as he pushed the button that sent the rack that holds the hero suits out of the wall. Everybody in this class has different quirks, so I get to see the new costumes! This is exciting!
After walking out of the locker room, I spot Deku, that girl, and a suit of armor. I walk over to them.
"Holy moly Y/N! You look amazing!" The girl says. I must've misjudged her, she seems nice.
"Thanks! You look great too!"
(Sexy)
"Though not entirely appropriate for a high school…" this came from the armor. Oh, it must be the mean one under there.
(Baggy)
"Though not flashy enough to stand out amongst the others.…" This came from the armor. Oh, it must be the mean one under there.
(Normal)
"Who's your favorite hero?" Deku asks, his eyes shining.
(Sexy)
"Midnight."
(Baggy)
"Hawks"
"Awesome! Did your costume take inspiration from hers/his? Mine is based on my favorite hero Allmight! He's so cool and I want to be just like him!"
"Yeah, it did."
"Ah, I see. Taking inspiration from your favorite hero is admirable. My costume is based off of my personal hero, Ingenium! I misjudged you! Tenya Iida!" He said while bowing.
"Yeah, I also just like wearing stuff like this." That jerk's not going to slutshame/ make anyone feel bad about their style anyone on my watch.
"Hey you! Scarface!" Both me and the boy with the split colored hair turned around.
"NO NOT YOU YOU ICY HOT BASTARD! THE NEW GIRL!"
(Sexy)
I walked over to him. I could see the yellow haired boy staring at my costume with a light blush on his face. The red haired one was quickly looking away to pretend he wasn't staring. I was honestly kind of surprised. It's probably just because there are only a few people with skimpy hero costumes. He's not actually interested. I don't have a curvy body. I'm only a(n) (A,B,C,D) I guess the fishnets and garters did their job. I don't have big hips or thighs. To be honest, I do have long legs. I stand at 5'7'' I'm eye level with Bakugo normally, but in these heels I stand about 5'9"
(Both)
I walk over to Bakugo, who's glaring at me the whole way. Once I reach him, I try to embarrass him as much as possible. If he's gonna call me scarface, I can make fun of him.
(I was thinking boots like these, but they can be whatever you want.)

(Baggy)
"Same pants!" I say, glancing down at his legs.
[Optional:Baggy]
My hero costume was sweatpants, a jacket, and a sports bra. Mind you, it was a full coverage bra, that made sure I was covered and safe. I would have worn something loose, but I couldn't for 3 reasons. 1) I needed to be able to fit my wings through the back and move them easily. 2) I couldn't wear a loose shirt while flying or it would tear off. 3) A loose shirt would be easy to grab during a fight.
I also wore sleeves to cover my arms, and weighted knuckle gloves. (gloves with hard stuff in the knuckles to make a punch hurt more)
(Sexy)
As I got to Bakugo, he said
"You better not be looking down on me bitch!" Which I thought was ironic, because I'm taller than him.
"It'd be hard not to. I'm taller than you." I lean in real close to intimidate him, but he freezes, and then as if shaking off a thought, frowns and yells,
"That's because you're in stripper heels you whore!"
"They aren't stripper heels, they're platform boots. Moron." Redhead stares wide eyed, as if he's expecting a bomb to detonate any second. I suppose in a way, it is.
"WELL HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO KNOW THAT!!! I BET YOU CANT EVEN FIGHT ME!! WEAKLING!! I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!!"
"Do you want some Zoloft or something? I can get you some." I really can, Kei knows a couple dealers, having made a few runs for extra cash. She mostly cuts contact with the shady stuff though.
"NO I DON'T WANT YOUR DRUGS YOU SHADY WHORE! FIGHT ME!!!"
"Hey bro, calm down! Let's make a plan for winning and proving we're the best at UA!" The redhead said, clearly trying to diffuse the situation.
"Stay out of this shitty hair!"
"TIME FOR CLASS TO START!" A booming voice yells. "THIS WILL BE A PARTNER ACTIVITY, SO PAIR UP! REMEMBER TO CHOOSE WISELY, TO BE THE BEST HEROES, ONE MUST WORK WELL WITH OTHERS!" Ha, looks like the Bakugo kid did not like that last part.
"WHY YOU LOOKIN' AT ME?!" He yells at Allmight.
People began to pair up, Uraraka and Deku, Bakugo and Kirishima, etc. The girls were crowding the split one, and the bird boy came over to me.
"Would you like to be my fellow partner of darkness in this activity?"
"Sure," I said.
"There are 30 of these sandbags hidden around the facility as hostages. There are also 20 of Ectoplasm's copies scattered around. They won't always be near the hostages. Once down, a copy will stay down. It is not required to fight any of the clones. Attacking anybody but the clones is prohibited. The team to rescue the most sandbags wins. You have 8 minutes to make a plan with your partner. Starting… now."
“What's your name?” I said. It's probably something emo or edgy af.
“Tokoyami Fumikage.”
“Ok, what does your quirk do?”
“This is dark shadow. He fights.” he said as a black mass with yellow eyes emerges from his back.
"So, you could fight clones while I look for hostages… but then we wouldn't be able to help each other… and my quirk's not very good at fighting."
"If we both go everywhere together we'll rescue less people, separating would be more efficient...but then what if the other finds someone? Maybe someone could
"I think that we should work together. We should set up a base and we can bring the bags there." I said. He nodded.
"Everybody line up! It's time to begin!" We did
"Ready! GO! PLUS ULTRA!" He shouted and we scrambled to the door. Someone jumped in through a window, her tongue hanging out.
Once in, I found myself in a maze. There were 4 hallways to choose from. I ran down the closest one, Tokoyami in close pursuit. I turned a corner to find a wall and a sandbag on the ground. This is easy. With no villains in sight, I pick it up and the door slams shut. A person shimmers into vision, one of the clones, because he's in Ectoplasm’s costume. He pulls out a knife and makes a jab at me. Tokoyami bangs on the door, but it's metal. I can easily move out of the way, because I live on the streets, and there are homeless drunks who will stab you, so Kei taught me how to dodge, grab their wrist, break it, and slam their head into the nearest surface. Unluckily for the clone, that was an iron door. It melts and leaves a button on the ground. I push it, and it opens the door.
We run a bit more, turning and twisting through the cemented labyrinth, until we find a clone. It has a few hostages, a big one and a small one. It must symbolize a kid. This clone just pulls a knife and slits the bigger bag open, the sand pouring onto the floor. I freeze. It grabs the small bag and holds a knife to it. He must not have a quirk because he hasn't used anything yet.

Ok so like, I don't like Shinso or Dabi or any villan I also don't like halks, there overrated and it ruined them for me and made me hate them, Shinso comes of as a arogint in my opinion, Dabi and the other villans all have thing I really hate in chartors as big parts of the, halks his backstory is AMAZING I LOVE IT but I don't like the direction his character is taking. I also feel like the girls need more attention, like mina and toru and nejire, they need more chartor development instead of being more like comic relief, also we need more of 1b, we don't see them that much and that's a shame. Also Iida could use some more etention after the stain arc, he needs more appreciation he's the class rep. Also I hope ochaco deserves better at this point it's redicules. #ochacodeservesbetter #weneedmorecharoterdevelopmwnt #mha #bnha

She-Hulk and Explosion Boy pt.6
Word Count: 1,873
Pairing: Bakugo x fem!reader
Warnings: swearing
Summary: What happens when two idiots catch Feelings for each other and are too proud to admit it?
Tumblr media
“You´re such a fucking idiot, you know” you laughed as Bakugo teased you about being bad at video games. You were just lying on your bed, competing with each other as usual.
It was only when you met up regularly again that you realized how much you really missed him.
Maybe Mina was right and you did like him more than you were ready to admit to yourself.
In those past few weeks you tried to find out exactly that, you tried to pay more attention to the feelings you felt when looking at Bakugo, when thinking about him, which you had to learn to accept that you did in fact think about him.
It wasn´t hard having feelings for your best friend, it was easy, inevitable. After all you spent almost every day with each other, talking to each other, getting to know one another closely enough to fall in love. Of course you had a crush on him.
How could you not? You weren´t blind.
He was handsome, and you were just a living human girl, and damn those arms could crush you at any time…
“(Y/N), you listening?” he nudged at your arm, trying to get your attention.
Okay, maybe you were too lost in thought thinking about him, but that was only because Mina annoyed you so much about it. At least that was what you told yourself.
“Huh? Did you say something?” you smirked at him, knowing full well he hated it when you didn´t pay attention to him.
“I said I need to go, it´s getting late” he rolled his eyes.
You felt a little pang in your heart and frowned at that, you didn´t realize it was already this late…
“Oh, alright...see you in school then” you mumbled, it was hard to hide your feelings around Bakugo, so you didn´t even bother trying.
“Yeah, see you tomorrow” he hesitated before answering. Bakugo was never sure what to do when you let him in on your emotions, he didn´t know how to comfort you or what was wrong in the first place, so he didn´t do anything at all.
And every time you looked at him an instance longer he felt his cheeks heat up, and when you touched his shoulder, or laughed at something he said…
But that was just because he liked you more than a friend.
He knew you´d never like him the same way and he hated his brain for interpreting things into your actions and giving him false hopes because of that.
Bakugo wasn´t stupid, he knew exactly that you were special, to him at least, if you´d spend time with someone as beautiful as you as often as he did it was bound to happen, really.
Fuck, he had to be the luckiest bastard on earth to have the privilege to be with you so often, yet he was also the stupidest to actually fall for you.
You deserved so much better, you deserved someone kind like Kirishima, someone caring like Sero and someone funny like Kaminari.
All the things he was not.
You accompanied Bakugo to the door and hugged him goodbye, a habit you developed after your make up, it was a bittersweet feeling.
Getting to get physically intimate with him, but having to let go eventually, being so close yet so far, and you always had to watch out not to hug him too long….like you did now, fuck.
Bakugo melted into the hug, not daring to hug back because he knew that if he did he´d never let you go.
He relaxed and his fingers itched so bad to touch you, he took in your sweet smell that always made him feel like home and fuck was he weak.
His arms slowly wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer to him subconsciously, making you blush and your heart go crazy.
It was as if the whole world went still and silent, everything stopped like the cheesy sequences in those shitty romance movies.
“See you in school” Bakugo was the first one to let go after the way too long hug, but only because he had to physically force himself to.
You just nodded, thinking about how stupid you got every time you two got closer, your brain just shut off.
When you two walked to school the next morning, none of you uttered a word about the hug yesterday.
It was sort of like a silent agreement between the two of you.
As soon as you walked into school, getting to your class seemed more of a challenge than usual.
Not because you got lost like stupid fucks, but because class 1B was standing in front of your class and insulting you.
You groaned, it was too early for this shit.
Luckily Bakugo laid an arm around you, guiding you through the masses and making sure you didn´t get lost, he also handled the loud mouth who was insulting you rather well.
The presence of Bakugo´s arm around your shoulder only was realized by you when Mina gave you two a knowing look and giggled.
“I didn´t want her to get run over by those fucking pricks” Bakugo defended himself and put his arm away harshly,
It was only then that you missed his touch, you didn´t mind him having his arm around you at all, it was cute...as was he.
Wait...no...no he wasn´t, he was your friend and that was it. He was too dense to notice your flirting either way.
The purple haired guy from another class was distracting you from your thoughts in the worst way, he just talked over them, not only that, he insulted your class, your friends.
“Could you shut the hell up?! You weren´t even there so stop fucking telling us why we were doing what we were doing! Accusing us of calling the villains is literally the stupidest thing you could do. It doesn´t make sense, we wouldn´t even get anything out of it. What happened was shitty, we weren´t prepared. But we got lucky, that´s all there is to it. I´ve never even seen you before so stop acting like we should know you, like you´re somebody worth knowing and listening to, cause you´re not. You´re just an arrogant asshole who´s never been confronted with real villains, with the real cruel world. Didn´t your mother tell you to shut the fuck up when you know nothing?!”you stomped away from Bakugo angrily to stand up to the guy, balling your fists.
The way you were trembling with anger, the way your eyes were glistening with rage, Bakugo wanted you to beat up that guy and he wanted to watch and cheer you on.
“That´s enough” Aizawa interrupted, shooing away the other classes before commencing your own.
Before the actual lesson started he informed you about the annual UA sports festival that you would attend for the first time.
The news got you excited, it was the perfect opportunity to show agencies what you were made of.
Naturally you and Bakugo trained together for the event.
“You´re fucking quiet today, everything alright?” you asked as you worked out in the gym together.
Bakugo just grunted, finishing his session before answering.
“Fucker from general class annoyed me, that´s all” he answered, gritting his teeth.
You scoffed, it was like he wasn´t even trying to hide the fact that he was lying.
“If you say so” but you also decided that it was better not to question it, you didn´t want to anger him further and direct his bad mood at you.
You wanted to cheer him up after all.
He seemed glum up until the beginning of the sports festival, barely talked to you, Bakugo seemed more in his head than ever and it was all because of you.
Of course he´d never admit that.
He´d never admit that he hated the way that purple haired brat eyed you, the way he smirked at you, the way Bakugo could hear his disgusting thoughts about you…
There was nothing he´d like better than smash his face in.
And no he wasn´t jealous like all of his friends said, he was just protective of his friend… a friend he didn´t want to be his friend anymore, but he was too proud to admit that.
He snapped when he saw Shinsou flirting with you in the cavalry battle.
“I like girls who can stand up to me, girls who have balls like you” he smirked at you.
You tried your best to ignore him, Bakugo was right, he was annoying.
Well, he was annoying ever since he thought he could just stroll up to you and insult all of your friends.
“So you´re gay then...” you mumbled, trying not to get distracted.
Your team already gathered a fair amount of points, you weren´t going to lose them so easily.
“No, just interested in you” he told you boldly, making you roll your eyes.
“Sorry, you´re not my type” you told him, hoping he´d get the hint and leave you alone.
Little did you know Bakugo was listening in on your conversation.
“What´s your type then?” Shinsou still didn´t leave you alone.
You chuckled before answering, were you really going to confess your crush to an annoying brat from general classes?
“Blond bitches who look like they want to murder everybody, but are the sweetest little shit on the inside” yes, yes you were.
Bakugo was startled a bit at your answer, who was blond? And who was angry all the time beside him? You couldn´t mean him, that would be insane.
“Like that guy over there?” Shinsou pointed to Bakugo who glared at him with a murderous intent but also blushed heavily when you smirked and nodded, confirming it.
“Yep, that´s him, that´s my blond little bitch” you smiled sadly, it was stupid really, thinking of him that way.
If only you had the guts to actually tell him. The only reason you said it out loud now was because you thought he couldn´t hear you.
In this moment Bakugo´s brain completely shut off, luckily the game was over now and the real fights could start, he really needed to clear his head.
You and your friends sat with each other and when each of your fights came on, you cheered for each other.
The fights went by quickly, time only passed slower whenever it was Bakugo´s turn and you felt yourself anxious for him to win.
“Let´s go, babe...” you mumbled as he fought against Todoroki.
Mina exchanged confused looks with the others.
“Babe?” Sero questioned.
You covered your mouth with your hands.
“I didn´t say anything!” you defended yourself, already growing red as a tomatoe.
“You guys heard that too, right?” Sero asked and Kaminari and Kirishima nodded.
“So you finally confessed to him” Mina sighed.
“No...wait! I don´t even like him that way! And even if I did, he´d never like me back, so...argh just shut up!” you rambled.
Mina giggled: “Sure you don´t like him”.
“You just called him ´babe´, (Y/N). I think that´s a pretty clear sign of you liking him” Kirishima apologetically scratched his head.
You sat down again, head buried in your hands.
“I know...” you groaned.

Superiority Complex (Yandere Neito MonomaxReader)
Request: Hi!! I'd like to request a story about monoma please thank you!!
Monoma ground his teeth, ignoring the discomfort in favor of the slight distraction. No, any pain was worth the price if it meant getting some sort of catharsis as he watched you. He wished he could just ignore you, he really did, but how could he? How could he possibly pretend that you weren’t there when you were actively betraying your class? Monoma had thought that you cared about 1B, that you were a proud member of your class, but it appeared that he was mistaken. If you really cared, you wouldn’t be spending lunch with that hothead Bakugou.
Glaring at the pair of you from only a few tables away, Monoma stabbed at his food angrily. He couldn’t believe you right now! Were you really so ashamed of your classmates that you felt the need to sit with that idiotic heathen? It really was a shame, he thought bitterly to himself. He had previously held you in such high regard, with how talented and dedicated you were to the hero course. He even told you so, complimenting how well you did in various hero exercises! But apparently his admiration wasn’t enough for you anymore. Apparently you thought you were too good for him now.
“Bakugou!” you cried out with a laugh. “There’s no way that’s true!” Intrigued despite himself, Monoma strained his ears to hear what you two were even talking about.
“I swear,” Bakugou answered with a smirk. “Why the hell would I need to lie about anything?”
“Oh, yeah,” you replied with an eye roll. “Because you’re so amazing already.”
           “You know it.”
Ugh, Monoma felt like he was going to be sick. Listening to that moron try to impress you was excruciating, but even worse was the fact that you seemed to enjoy it. You were worth so much more than that imbecile, so Monoma couldn’t figure out why you were wasting your time with him. You could be spending your time and attention so much better with your own classmates—like him! Wasn’t Monoma the one who almost defeated Bakugou in the cavalry battle? Wasn’t he the one that thought of the strategy to help bring 1B some well-deserved glory? If anyone deserved you, it was him, not Bakugou!
Seething with silent hatred, Monoma directed his glare towards Bakugou. Thinking on it, he really couldn’t place too much of the blame on you. You deserved some of it of course, but it was Bakugou who should hold the bulk of it. After all, Monoma had learned the price of underestimating Bakugou once before, and he wasn’t about to make it again. Bakugou was manipulating you, fooling you into thinking that he was worthy of you. Despite how capable you were in class, you really were too friendly—too naïve—for your own good. And as much as Monoma enjoyed it when that warmth and amiability was directed at him, it was clear that Bakugou was trying to take advantage of it.
Still, maybe he could also use your kindness to his advantage. Monoma was well aware of Bakugou’s history of violent outbursts and outright bullying. He couldn’t help but wonder how you might react if you just happened to stumble upon a scene of Bakugou behaving that way. And if Monoma coincidently happened to be the target of such bullying, he could only imagine that you would suddenly turn your attention and care towards him. Yes, it seemed that once again Bakugou was trying to slip in and steal what belonged to Monoma out from under him. But this time, Monoma wouldn’t let him succeed.

"Wait, wait, wait, hold on a minute!" Hagakure's gloves waved around frantically as she tried to stop Ojiro from continuing his story and to back track to what he just said. "Todoroki was rooting for Yaomomo?!"
"Well yeah." Ojiro scratched the back of his head. "I mean, he wasn't shouting in encouragement or anything but but her fight was the only one he gave any comment to and he seemed to really believe in her abilities."
"Oh, do you know what this means!" She squealed in excitement.
“Uh, no?”
“Oh come on! Todoroki obviously has a crush on her!”
It was then that Ojiro knew he shouldn’t have said a thing to the invisible girl at all.
Sorry Todoroki.
__________
“Are you serious?” Mina leaned across the bed in Momo’s dorm room. The girls had all met up in here after Hagakure called an emergency meeting, or rather an emergency girl talk.
“Absolutely! Ojirou heard him say it!”
Momo sat against the head of her bed with a pillow clutched tightly in her arms, her face turning more red by the minute. The story that Hagakure told them about Todoroki had caused most of the girls to stare at her in disbelief. Momo seemed to have somehow captured the attention of the aloof teen and the girls were all curious about how she did it.
“What did you do Momo?”
“I-I don’t know!” She stuttered, her heart going a mile a minute.
“Are you two secretly dating and haven’t told us about it?!” Mina exclaimed. “Oh please tell me you guys are together!”
“Wh-what, of course not!” Momo stammered and hid her face against the pillow in her arms. “We-we’re just friends.”
“That’s not what it sounds like!”
Momo knew she was in for a long night of questioning and she hoped the other girls would tire out soon or give up when she refused to answer anymore questions, but she knew that wasn’t going to be the case.
_________
Shouto leaned his head on his hand as he stared at their teacher as he talked about what their next hero exercises would be. He cast a side ways glance at the creation hero beside him and wondered if he had done something to upset her. She wouldn’t even look him in the eye let alone greet him like she usually did.
The bell rang which signaled the end of the school day, prompting his classmates to stand up and leave the room. He managed to snag Momo by the arm to stop her from leaving.
The raven haired beauty glanced at him and he could clearly see her face turning bright red and he had to admit she looked adorable.
Wait, adorable? Where did that come from?
"Um, T-Todoroki?" She prompted when he just stared at her. "Is there something wrong?"
"I was actually going to ask you that." Shouto realized he still had a hold of her and immediately let go to rub sheepishly at the back of his neck.
"What do you mean?"
"Well you're obviously avoiding me, you wouldn't look at me at all today and I didn't receive your usual greeting." He sighed and turned his gaze away from her. "Just wondering if i did something to upset you."
Upon hearing his words, Momo instantly felt horrible about ignoring him today. She wasn't upset, she had simply become too shy ever since Hagakure shared her story from Ojiro. Of course the girls had badgered her until she admitted she had liked him more than a friend so that didn't help.
"You've done nothing wrong."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, it's just..." She bit her lip, unsure if she should explain further and decided he deserved to know why she had been acting so strangely. "I...may have heard from a little bird that you were...rooting for me during our battles against Class 1B."
"Why would that-?"
"Because it’s you!" Momo stated loudly. "The one person in class that I admire above all others actually believes in me."
Her eyes met the ground since she refused to meet his hetero-chromatic gaze. He didn’t speak for a minute and his silence made her wish she hadn't said anything at all.
“Why do you admire me?”
The flinch made Shouto want to take back his question as she met his gaze. But he needed to know why she had so much faith in him, to her it was normal but to him he couldn’t understand it.
“Well, you’re the most capable-”
“Am I?” Shouto raised a brow. “Did you fail your provisional license test? Were you the one that got into a fight with another student during that test? And if not for you we would failed our final exams.”
“But-”
“You’re not perfect, and believe me, neither am I.” He smiled softly. “But I do think you are the most capable in our class Yaoyorozu and I admire you’re strength and your intelligence, that’s why I will always root for you and be in your corner.”
Okay, those last few words had Shouto’s own cheeks turning red as he glanced to the side and rubbed the back of his head with embarrassment.
Momo on the other hand was ready to burst into flames, and she probably would have if she had his fire quirk, but that didn’t stop the two matryoshka dolls from popping out from her legs.
“H-how can you say that so casually?!” She covered her face with her hands.
“What’s wrong with saying it, if it’s true?” He knelt down and picked up the dolls, and was surprised that one of them was made to his likeness while the other was of the blushing female in front of him.
“These are cute, but I do have to wonder though, how many you have attempted to make before you got the look just right?”
“This is so embarrassing.” Momo took them from his hands when he offered them to her.
Dark orbs met dual colored ones and it was in that moment that they felt a shift between them. The distance that she felt in their connection seemed to have grown shorter and she leaned in slightly.
“Um, Shouto I-”
“Would you two just kiss already!!!”
The spell was broken as Mina slammed the door open, a fake crying look on her face as she stomped into the room.
“You two make it so hard for someone like me to enjoy the romance that I can see between you two.”
“K-kiss?” Momo stuttered as she realized that was exactly what she almost did.
“Romance?” Shouto murmured and his eyes widened slightly.
“I swear you two are so dense.” She stepped into their space. “Can’t you feel the sexual tension here.” She gestured to them.
Jirou took the opportunity to come in and remove the pink female from the room before she left with one last message.
“Looks like you guys have a few more things to talk about.” She smirked leaving the two stunned teens alone.
“I am so sorry about that.” Momo apologized.
Clearing his throat, Shouto spoke, “Um yeah, don’t worry about it.”
“Hey, would you want to grab dinner?” She asked out of the blue.
He shrugged. “Sure I suppose, seeing as we have so much to talk about.”
The way he said it in that deadpan tone succeeded in making her laugh which forced a smile to cross his lips.
“Come on.” Without thinking she grabbed his hand; feeling heat crawl up her neck again she was about to pull away until his hand closed around hers.
“Let’s go.”
She felt her heart began to beat wildly in her chest but it was feeling she didn’t want to end.
__________
Just a fun little story, hope you enjoyed it. ^_^

1, 2, 4, 22 and 23 for Teen Wolf, Maze Runner and, idk, another anime/show/book of your choice :3
Teen Wolf
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
Omg Im gonna be so hated but sterek. The age difference and the fact they never interacted that much?  I do see the chemistry but omg they are the biggest ship in that show and I have no idea how that happened. Also Stiles and Lydia are cute and at the end of the series I actually started shiping them but god... it was so hard, it took me so long to like them.
2.Are there any popular fandom OTP you only BroTP?
Sterek and stydia hahahah Also Malia and Scott? Cute and all but I also really like their friendship
4.Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
omg here we go again hahhaha stydia was my notp for the longest time. I ended up liking them but  only in the last season. After that I dont thing I have a Notp. I mean, that cast has a great chemistry, any ship has potential (I mean, my otp was cora and style so hahaha)
22. Popular character you hate?
I actually don't hate any popular character!! That's so weird. THe closest would be Theo, because I didn't buy his redemption arc
23.Unpopular character you love?
they weren't unpopular because the fandom hated them but because they didn't receive the attention they deserve: CORA AND KIRA ( Also my sweet babies Boyd and Erica)
Maze Runner
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
None. I actually coincide with the otps. Newtmas (and Minwet too for me) was my ultimate otp. I also like Brenda and Thomas, but I wouldnt call them an otp
2.Are there any popular fandom OTP you only BroTP?
Back in 2016 poeple really liked Newt and Alby. I think they are astill a thing but they arent a big ship anymore. Ive never seen them as more than friends, and I actually alwasy though of them as brother. Also. Theresa and Thomas.
4.Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
Theresa and Thomas hahha but Ive never was sure if they were actually populas... the director of the movies was a big shipper for sure, and actually, I get it.  I might never liked Theresa, but Wes (The director) gave her character a well deserved development and I actually found myself shipping them a little bit while watching the movies.
22. Popular character you hate?
Theresa. At least In the books it would be her. I also didnt like Alby in the books, but I love him in the movies.
23.Unpopular character you love?
I dont have idea which characters are unpopular. For example I freaking love gally, but I have the feeling the fandom love him hahaha Aris is my baby but I think noone actually like him, my poor sweet thing.
BNHA
1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
HAWK AND ENDEAVOR. OMG WHY.
2.Are there any popular fandom OTP you only BroTP?
Deku /Uraraka, Deku/Todoroki and Kirishima/Bakugou.... and now is when the fandom attack me for dont like the most popular ships. IM SORRY OK?!
4.Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
Again, Endeavor and Hawk are becoming populars and I... I just cant. Also I dont like the main couple, Izuku and Uraraka. I get it, they are cute and all, but It frustrate me so much how they are handling their relationship, to the point that I dont like them anymore.
22. Popular character you hate?
I already answered this one but becasily Endeavor because he abused his family, sending his wife to a mental hospital and traumatizing his children... I can see his potential to have a redemption arc, but they are not handling it very well and is a issue that if you dont write it very carefully, it can go SO wrong.
Also.. I dont care for All Might at all hahahha ( He is the protagonist mentor... but if he dies I wouldnt mind )
6.Unpopular character you love?CLASS 1B. AS A WHOLE. ALSO MONOMA, WHO IS A CLASS 1B STUDENT. BUT I LOVE HIM AND HE IS MORE INTERESTING THAN HALF OF THE MAIN CAST.
Steph. Let me tell you. I love you so much

can you rec kirubaku fics?? ily btw
of course!! i’ll just make a lil list with my all time favs (•̀ᴗ•́)و
One Step Closer by @tusslee (Rated M)
“Hope flickers pitifully beside the fire of determination inside of him. Whatever it takes, he decides, he’ll prove them all wrong.
Injured in a car accident, Bakugou Katsuki has to learn a new way of life as he slowly, but surely recovers with the (unwanted) help from his physical therapist, Kirishima Eijirou.”
-(i think it’s save to say that this one is definitely in my top 3. i cried so much while reading it so you better buckle up for a wild, emotional ride)
the rest is under the cut (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
2 A.M by cityboys (Rated T)
“Caught between cities, phone calls and shifts he didn’t sign up for, Katsuki finds that he doesn’t travel light as well as he thought.“
heart stains on the carpet by cityboys (Rated T)
“"She’s saying we’re dating,“ Katsuki says, trying to put as much disgust into the word as possible. “Me. Willingly being around your freeloading ass—”“Ah.” Katsuki is definitely developing a special kind of intuition for when Kirishima’s about to dish out bullshit—because he feels it now, watching the guy do that thing where he shrugs and smiles in an attempt to appear innocent. “Katsuki’s a little shy about this sort of thing, you know, and we weren’t going to say anything.“For effect, he ends with an apologetic smile.
Summer that year brings Kirishima Eijirou to Katsuki’s front door.“
-(fake/pretend relationship babyyyyy!)
ghosts beneath ink wash stars by cityboys (Rated T)
“Eijirou’s evolution from Bakugou’s delivery boy to kind of, possibly, someone to come home to.“
-(everything from cityboys is so beautifully written so they all share a spot in my top 3)
the fool’s rush by @chonideno (Rated T)
“Settling down with each other is naturally what comes after being dorm neighbors for years. It’s time to navigate through adulthood together, to live the daily grind of being pro-heroes, to learn more than they thought they’d like to know about each other, about themselves.
Or how Bakugou and Kirishima find a way to call each other “home” and struggle with the realization that once all their bills are on auto-pay, the only thing they still have to deal with is this pit full of feelings they have ignored for too long.”
-(this one hits really close to home and i love it a lot!)
cotton candy hands by @chonideno (Rated T)
“Studying to become a hero requires knowing how to take care of yourself. Sometimes you might need help on the way so if your crush offers to do your hair for you or to give you a well-deserved back rub, it’d be stupid to say no.
A series of soft vignettes in which a love-struck Kirishima and a touch-starved Bakugou care for each other and it’s definitely not making their hearts jump through hoops, they’re never this close to kissing, no, they’re totally best friends bro“
-(after a while you’ll just start yelling at the screen for them to just kiss already lmao)
but i’ve got an angry heart by @newamsterdame (Rated T)
“He’s about to open his door to go to the shared bathroom on this floor when he notices the scrap of paper that’s been pushed under his door. It’s a salmon-colored flashcard, the type that’s sold in 500-packs with multiple colors. Bakugou stoops to retrieve it, frowning at the message he finds written on it.
Hey neighbor, welcome to the house! I heard you knocking things around, yesterday, and I think you maybe punched a wall? Anyway, the landlady gets pissy if you put holes in the wall, but I have a punching bag! You can come over and use it, or I can move it into the hall, if you want!
There’s only one other bedroom on the fourth floor. Now, Bakugou crosses the hall to the bedroom on the right side, slamming the post-it note against the door.
Fuck off and die, it reads.
Bakugou Katsuki is not going to jeopardize his future a second time, and that means staying away from anyone who gets too close. Kirishima Eijirou has never learned how not to be close to someone. Of course, they end up as next-door neighbors.”
-(one of a view fics i re-read a couple times bcuz it’s just that good!)
quote love unquote by @newamsterdame (Rated T)
“Sero nods. “It’s the chance of a lifetime, really,” he says. “We want you to date Bakugou, for the sake of his reputation with the press. Some public appearances, a few ‘candid’ photos. For at least a couple of months.”
“Bakugou sent you to ask me to date him?” Kirishima asks, baffled.“
Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou’s band hits the big time, he’s not prepared for his newfound fame. He’s even less prepared to meet the actor he’s been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he’s in over his head. But it’s hard to stop, once his heart is in it.“
-(still ongoing but trust me it’s worth it! that fake/pretend celebrity au we all need)
Perihelion by @tauontauoff (Rated T)
“Bakugou was a comet, blazing out of reach. Kirishima knew he was stupidly lucky that his furious trajectory went by close enough that his fingertips got to graze the cowl of fire. It was enough.
During Christmas Class 1A and 1B spend a laid-back week learning about extreme environment hero work in the Alps. Kirishima was used to keeping part of his feelings for Bakugou hidden, and had every intention of keeping it that way, but things don’t always go according to plan.”
Six Page Spread by @indigonow (Rated E - there’s no smut yet though)
“They’re 22 and Bakugou’s finally gotten control over his public image. Think more…"bad boy” and less “explosive asshole”.
Kirishima is weak (though he always has been).
Bakugou is never going to be a “nice guy”, but he’s managed to stop people from thinking he’s a villain. This is my take on the trials and tribulations of (Kirishima) being in love with said not-nice-guy in a world where heroes are always in the public eye and nothing’s ever simple.”
-(also ongoing but oh boy its worth the wait)
Indisputable by @indigonow (Rated M)
“He strains, he yearns for praise, for compliments, for recognition. All he wants is the positive attention, and he blooms under it like a flower turned to face the sun. With encouragement he is the best, and without it he’ll push himself without regard for anything around him until he’s there again at the forefront of people’s minds. He’ll force them to acknowledge him if he has to, because he can’t live without it.
Bakugou has struggled all his life to be number one, and he’s cracking to pieces every moment that he isn’t.“
-(ongoing. also a personal fav bcuz so far it’s the only one where mitsuki isn’t portrayed as a Good Mom™ but rather it addresses her abusive behaviour towards bakugou and i appreciate it a lot)
No Decision by @clairesail (Rated E)
“Kirishima Eijirou’s a newly contracted fighter for Japan’s major Mixed Martial Arts promotion and Bakugou Katsuki’s its volatile middleweight champion. But when the two men meet in a chance encounter and discover Kirishima can’t be knocked out by the champ’s famous elite strikes, it sparks a rivalry and fascination between them that can’t be settled in the cage.“
-(that’s the fic that originally got me into MMA)
The Lost Continent by cattchi and paglykos (Rated E)
“Kirishima Eijirou is from a noble family of pirate exterminators.Bakugou Katsuki is rising as one of the most fearsome pirates on the seas.
When a trade goes awry, Kirishima finds himself cast among Bakugou’s crew, having to learn the ropes and the sea as they chase after All Might’s infamous hidden treasure.”
-(still ongoing pirate au!!! also fair warning: this fic has a lot of smut. it’s all skippable without missing anything of the main plot tho so even if you dont like smut i highly recommend it bcuz the story itself is amazing!!)
like the first day of summer vacation by @hellsuga (Rated T)
“Bakugou prepared for this. He prepared for flipped canoes and snotty children, skinned knees and spiders in cabins. He prepared for a summer of complete and utter bullshit.
Bakugou did not prepare for Kirishima Eijirou.”
-(summer camp au, still ongoing)

Weekly Update - Tuesday, January 19, 2021
Commitment - Conviction - Consideration
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Good Morning,
I hope that everyone enjoyed the long weekend and took time to remember the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  I am not sure there has been a time in recent history where his work and commitment to equality resonated more.  As I shared on Thursday, the Town usually coordinates a wonderful ceremony in which our students, myself, and the Mayor participate.  Unfortunately, due to the restrictions of COVID-19, we are unable to hold the ceremony.  To not forget the significant accomplishments and contributions of Dr. King, Jr. in our nation and in the world, the Town has put together some reflections that will be posted on our website, the Town website, and Public Access Channel 19.
Here is a Press Release from the Mayor.
Here is the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Packet - 1 18 21.
COVID-19 Vaccination Update
As I shared in my update Friday, it is the intention of the Town to begin to vaccinate school personnel as soon as possible.  I did receive the statement below from the Commissioner's Office on behalf of the Connecticut Department of Public Health.  Each district received this twice.
Re: Critical update regarding Connecticut’s Vaccine Implementation Phase 1b
Dear Connecticut School Leadership,
Thank you for your patience as the State rolls out the COVID-19 Vaccine to its residents. This email is meant to clarify a number of aspects of the vaccine roll-out.
Throughout much of the summer and fall, the planning assumption was that teachers and other educational staff would be part of “Phase 1b” as frontline essential workers. This is still the case – however, given the current composition of Phase 1b, which also includes those 75+ years of age, 65-74 years of age, and 16-64 with comorbidities, there are a large number of individuals in this phase of distribution. There is currently not enough vaccine for all members of this group, so we will be focusing on individuals 75+ to start, and adding in others in the coming days and weeks.
As such, we are asking that teachers and other school staff not schedule vaccine appointments at this time. We understand this is a change of plans for many. If existing appointments have been secured, they can be kept. If they have not, then we ask that teachers and other education sector employees hold off on scheduling clinics until further announcements have been made from the State.
We understand that these changes to plans are frustrating, but also appreciate everyone’s support in helping ensure our initial roll-out of vaccines is targeted at those residents who are facing the highest burden of infection and death from the COVID-19 crisis.
In short:
+ The focus of our roll-out is currently on people over 75 years of age
+ Teachers and other school staff should not schedule appointments
+ Teachers and other school staff with appointments can keep these
+ We look forward to a future time when everyone can get vaccinated
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].  Your e-mail will be distributed to the appropriate contact person based on the nature of the question.
 Thank you,
Connecticut Department of Public Health
With this stated, we will continue to work collaboratively with the Wallingford Health Department and keep you posted.
Budget Update
Tomorrow evening at 6 p.m., I will present the Central Office 2021-2022 Budget Proposal to the Board of Education.  I want to thank the entire team for all of their hard work in pulling this presentation together.  I especially want to thank Karen Veilleux, Danielle Bellizzi, Aimee Turner, and Carrie LaTorre for helping finalize the Budget Introduction.  I also want to extend thanks to David Bryant, Dominic Barone, Marc Deptula, and James Bondi, and their teams for their hard work as well.
As I always say, the budget process is a marathon.  Please do not get too excited about the initial presentation.  I do believe that it is a strong budget that has no negative impact on students.  I am confident that the Board of Education will move through the process successfully and present to the Mayor their budget of which we will all be proud.
I will include the link for tomorrow night’s meeting in my parent communication this afternoon that you all receive as well.  Please feel free to tune in.
Commitment - Conviction - Consideration
I wanted to offer a special “shout out” to the Voluntary Distance Learning Teachers this week.  You have really done an incredible job keeping students engaged and learning.  To honor you, we compiled this short video in your honor.  Thank you again!
Voluntary Distance Learning - Thank You Video
Here are the latest spotlights from parents.  Thanks again to all the staff for their hard work in these challenging times.
Karen Ruszkowski is a kindergarten teacher at Moses Y Beach School. She is the perfect example of the master educator. Her virtual classroom comprises twenty students, and she continually exercises a warm, nurturing virtual
environment. Obviously, this is not an easy task. Her lessons are well developed and she implements them so easily that the lessons inspire students to achieve. She is able to engage the students, motivate them, and encourage them to go beyond the stated objectives.Ms. Ruszkowski has provided the students in her classroom with an excellent beginning as they journey through their formal education. Our family is indeed thankful for her efforts, and we are grateful that our little man has Karen Ruszkowski as his teacher!
I really want you to know that Kristen Wynus and her staff have been absolutely amazing with the Wallingford Transition Program. I don't want to see this team of teachers & staff to go unnoticed! PLEASE!  As you know, this program is not run like a traditional classroom. Times have been extremely difficult on all....but I'd say even more challenging for our Transition team & students! Please do not forget about this amazing program and Kristen Wynus who runs it! She deserves SO much credit!
I am writing to give praise to many teachers & staff at Cook Hill Elementary.
Our daughter is in first grade in Mrs. Sorrentino’s class. When we heard that was who she was having this year, I can’t tell you how many people said “oh you’re so lucky.” We have quickly learned as to why people say that! She has been amazingly adaptive and innovative in navigating this new educational journey. As a parent who was frequently in the classroom last year, I very much wish I could be in there again to lend a hand. However, she has fostered and maintained an amazing relationship even from a distance with the parents of the class. To me, that speaks volumes as to what kind of educator she is. Communication has always remained open from day one.
In addition, the para in our class, Mrs. Knight, has really bonded with my daughter over her love of art. There isn’t a day that we don’t hear about Mrs. Knight from Sophia.
Lastly, I have to mention many staff at Cook Hill in which I think play an integral role in our positive in person learning experience this year. Principal Friend has been working tirelessly and her efforts have not gone unnoticed. In addition, the friendly faces at the pickup loop every day have helped to make the drop off/pickup process run very smoothly. I would particularly like to mention Mrs. Niezgorksi who goes out of her way to say hello to my younger daughter in the car every day.
Our daughter’s love for school is literally infectious. She could not wait to get back to in person learning and I commend everyone involved who had a hand in making that successful. Our family is incredibly appreciative of everything Dr. Menzo and the board of education have done to keep the elementary age children in school as long as they can safely do so.
I would like to say that Mrs. Stewart has been nothing short of AMAZING! My son is doing in-person learning with her, and she is such a special, happy, helpful, understanding and FUN teacher. He looks forward to going to school everyday, and asks why he can't also go on weekends! Haha. We love Mrs. Stewart!
My daughter is in Mrs. Kusza’s 1st grade class at STEVENS. She has made an extremely challenging year seem very normal. She loves going to school everyday. She is learning a ton, and never talks about or is sad about any of the new restrictions from Covid. I sincerely believe this is due to the great work of the Stevens staff and especially Mrs. Kusza. She is always kind and upbeat. She follows safety protocols, while still differentiating and pulling small groups. She seamlessly transitioned into distance learning after a positive case in her class. She was well equipped and well prepared for this transition with all the work and practice they had done in school.
I am a working teacher in another district and I cannot express what a weight it is off my shoulders to send [my daughter] to Mrs. Kusza’s class each day knowing she will be safe, loved, and taught well each day. Thank you for all the work the district, school and Mrs. Kusza has put into keeping this year as safe and normal as possible.
We would like to thank and show our appreciation for our son's first grade teacher Mrs. Cartier. As parents we were nervous that our son wasn't going to be engaged and learn.  He was diagnosed with adhd last year and school was rough. Last year distance learning became a struggle but we survived. With Mrs. Cartier she has our son engaged, learning and thriving. She has the patience of a saint and is very caring and attentive. The live learning is amazing and his teacher doesn't lean on the parents to help much at all. We were afraid we would be sitting with our child everyday to assist him but Mrs. Cartier has everything under control.
Make it a great week!
