I stand by what I said once re what i'd've liked to see from s3, particularly: the full s3 😭😭, whatever their vision for that was, so I could judge it on its own merits!! i tend to get the most inspiration for new ideas late at night. my thoughts wander a lot when im trying to fall asleep- especially if im listening to music at the same time. sometimes a certain lyric or theme will get stuck in my head and that will lead me to thinking of something i wanna see in a story, or sometimes ill just be thinking abt cute little scenes/dialoauge for something im already planning, and that leads me don a rabbit hole of whats ifs until im thinking about an entirely new idea! and of course i get a lot of inspiration from other books/movies, especially when it comes to au's or ideas outside of what i normally write

i need all of my characters to experience at least One (1) traumatic, heartbreaking, or otherwise extremely painful event per story or else i start experiencing withdrawals. i genuinely dont know if i have ever written something just purely fluffy without even the hint of angst yk? like. my fluffiest fic is What's In a Name and EVEN THEN it ends with the implication of everyone's past trauma sooo. yeah. i NEED my little guys to suffer i consider my most successful writing sessions to be the ones where i make myself cry :]

i think that a lot of femmes are very gender non-conforming! a lot of femmes access this through more brazen sexuality or campiness in their aesthetics, but many femmes also access gender non-conformity through the way they don't shave, the way they carry themselves, etc. I've even seen a post floating around here about a femme who passes as butch during their work shift because of their physical labor-related job, but they, and you, are still femme.

i want to let you know, you don't "look butchy"! you're always looking femme when you're a femme. maybe you're not dressed to your nines, but you do look amazingly femme! it's even more clear when you incorporate the staples of gender non-conformity that you do-- a good piece on this was written by Arlene Istar, a Jewish lesbian writer, about her femmeness.

There are a million ways to be femme, and I want to be ecstatically clear when I say that many femmes, especially Black femmes, Indigenous femmes, South Asian femmes, other femmes of color, Jewish femmes (as you can see above), disabled femmes, and tma femmes, have been practicing femininity that wasn't deemed "feminine enough" for ages. they are still femmes, and are sometimes in fact, some of the best femme role models you could hope for!

Also, thank you for your kindness towards butches and the issues we've been having, lately and forever. I hope that this answer can help you feel more recognized and appreciated in your community as well.

Ok i know nil abt music, band, or orchestra stuff so bear with me

Rhysand and the gang are part of a rock band and he's the bass player (still not sure if azriel's the bass player or rhys but i do like the bass for either of them ‘cos i think they can rock the bass both and it’s such a sexy instrument and gives off this dark, cool, and sexy vibe mmmmmm)

Aside from knowing how to play the guitar or bass, azriel just dominates playing stringed instruments in general and i can also see him uniquely playing an electric violin in their band

Cass obv has drummer's energy

Helion also plays the guitar but prefers and is the keyboards man of the grp

Tarquin def. plays the guitar and is the primary vocalist

Rhys and helion can be secondary singers

Azriel can sing too being that he's dubbed as the “shadowsinger” but opts out of singing in public in general (his singing is reserved for elain only)

I think it’s safe to conclude that theyre all good with their fingers 😏

Their band name is “Court of Dreams” but note that im not that creative so maybe another band name suits these boys better

And their songs are all the rage rn. Up for awards and everything

Ive thought of mor and amren originally being in the band instead of tarquin and helion but i guess here theyre the manager or producer or smth

Moving on with Rhysand’s lady love

In contrast with Rhys’s rock band aesthetic, Feyre's a classical music player

Feyre was deemed a musical prodigy since she was 4 y.o. and currently knows how to play a few classical stringed instruments (cello, violin, viola, double bass), the piano, and the oboe

She can play a few other instruments, too (like percussion ones and this is just a tidbit where cassian and her become fast friends because of it and tries to one up each other with their own percussive skills)

One day, as part of their ongoing tour, the band finds themselves arriving at xyz airport

Feyre also happens to there at xyz city airport to do a violin concerto later that evening

Now let's just say that feyre's violin and azriel's violin got swapped and Feyre didnt notice immediately bec. she wasnt paying attention due to being in a rush to see her sisters for brunch before going to her concert and she was running late and nesta was getting hangry

Azriel on the other hand ofc notices that a girl mistook his violin for hers immediately and was about to follow her himself but the universe suddenly gave him an emergency that needed his personal attending to which is why Rhysand volunteers to get his e. violin for his brother

Luckily their band wasnt due to play their own concert to that same day so Rhys was able to take his time tracking the girl who had Azriel's violin

Sometime later, Feyre had only noticed that the violin she had wasnt hers and planned to track down her precious baby instrument despite only having 45 mins before the concerto starts

Not letting her spiral further into panic, her friend Ressina somehow procured and lent Feyre a different violin to play for the time being and promised that she'll go find Feyre's violin at the airport on her behalf

Rhys somehow stumbled upon Ressina along the way and they finally exchanged the violins that they had but before he could go, she invited him to watch the concerto

Rhysand respected all kinds of music. Sure he wasnt the biggest fan of classical pieces but it just wasn't his cup of tea

That is until he saw Feyre playing the violin and simultaenously thought that she's the most beautiful woman she's ever seen

Truly aside from the astounding woman in front of him, he didnt have any words to describe how magnificent she was while playing the violin and was enraptured immediately as if in a trance for the whole half hour of the concerto

After the show, Rhysand didnt waste any time wanting to meet Feyre

Feyre upon seeing Rhys ofc was stunned for a few seconds with Rhysand’s beauty

Rhys thought maybe she was just starstrucked to see him knowing his band and all but he introduced himself all the same

Ressina intervened and explained Rhysand's presence and Feyre bursted into tears with happiness and gratitude hugging rhysand for returning her violin

A few mins. of small talk between the 2 revealed that Feyre didnt have a clue who he was and had no inkling of his band whatsoever (bec. feyre lives under a rock apparently)

Feyre wanted to give him a gift as a thank-you but rhysand saw the opportunity of inviting Feyre to their concert instead as a VIP since he already deemed being able to witness her wonderful performance earlier as her gift to him

Feyre accepted and ended up being a fan of the CoD after the concert and where his band mates, along with mor and amren, took an immediate liking to Feyre and quickly welcomed her as part of the CoD family

Feyre and Rhysand were clearly smitten with each other and went on dates and ended up getting married after 2 years

Silence was an foreign entity in the their musical household and the couple was glad to see that their children also took up and found solace in the music that brought these two darlings together

One thing is just that I can't see Feyre playing any instrument 😂 that's not your fault but I just headcanoned Feyre as being bad at music in my head.

I do think Feyre would love the Court of Dreams Rock music! I think she's that kind of person that doesn't have one favorite genre. I think that she went the classical way because it's how she grew up in the Archeron household but the minute she discovers different genres she's like HELL YEAH! Metal, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, all that stuff

ok i caved and made a pinterest board (which i can add u as a co-creator on if u want? and if i can figure out how to do that?) but i definitely agree on mike wearing darker colours/more punk stuff. in the board i have better refs w more of that vibe. i would luv ur thoughts on hairstyles tho, as i feel like he would keep his current hairstyle, but a bit longer. more reminiscent of eddie but still his own style, yknow? also accessorizing . he definitely seems to luv Things so i feel like he would Own quite a bit of jewelry (mostly necklaces and bracelets?) but probably wouldnt Wear a majority of them lol (no this isnt me projecting idk what u mean)

as for the will fits, i get what u mean abt more form fitting stuff and will definitely b taking that into account (in my head the shirts r for sure tighter but wow is it hard to find good refs like that) the only thing im not 100% on is his hair? i mean i definitely think he would do the middle/sorta side part swoopy 90s boyband bangs but.. hm. idk. maybe i am 100% on his hair lol. and for accessories i think he would like fun matching belts for different outfits (see: the colour-coded belts in s4) and maybe some bracelets and that would b his way of adding More to his fits w/o being super out-there? yknow?? like he definitely doesnt seem like the person to wear smth attention-grabbing like super bright stuff (like u said) but he would like to dabble/play w that kinda style thru smaller more subtle accessories? if that makes sense at all.

ok so i have Zero Opinions on hair, though it’s become commonplace that will gets his little swoop and mike grows his hair out more. you could get fun with it and give them a little color!!

ACCESSORIES. i completely forgot those were a thing BUT for mike:

- necklaces but they’re dangly and usually the charm piece is metal because he likes to bite/chew on it and metal tastes good, but the charm itself could be anything

- bracelets i imagine Suck for him because of his bony wrists and the way things are constantly sliding (my sister has a similar body type to him and bracelets never sit for her so thats what im going off of) except for those soft friendship bracelets you can tighten because 1) comfy material 2) adjustable

- i can see mike getting his ears pierced and THAT is where the stupidness goes in his accessories. he and will and el go out to shops and buy the ones they find funny or cute so he has like. this range

but he can cover it with his hair 90% of the time, only tucking his hair back to show them to people to make them laugh or show off a little

and then for will, accessory wise, i imagine him enjoying those little leather cluster bracelets

like this kinda stuff + friendship bracelets (naturally)

- i don’t think he’d wear necklaces with the Sole Exception being a chain with the ring of power on it (not a fan of anything being near his throat usually but being a nerd overpowers trauma trust me)

I find it pretty funny that Keith David is a president/vice president in Rick and Morty and Saints Row 4. Do you think their universes could be connected?

To be honest with you, I do. ive thought about this since i was like 16, but i also thought the idea was slightly cringe (at the time, now i let my cringe free). i could soo totally see boss and rick getting along so well, the fact theyre both reckless and flirty, the way they both act like "im tough, i dont care about anyone" but in reality they care so much that theyre willing to sacrifice themselves for their loved ones. plus cmon, the fact they both can not only avoid authority so well, but the fact theyve both been able to get out of jail with little to no actual punishment for their crimes? oh thats best friends right there i think. plus we can imply that saints row has some sort of canon/lore connection to adult swim tv show lore anyways, since jimmy - the guy who makes Johnny tag in the clones dlc for saints row 3 - is clearly supposed to be the nerd from robot chicken (literally even featuring the same voice - which iirc is done by seth green)

additionally with the fact that a song from the tim and eric show (the sports theme) as well as the aqua teen hunger force them and a MF doom song being included on the radio sound track? i mean i know adult swim did contribute to the game, but its not entirely clear in what way the adult swim universe is tied into saints row. especially cos they drop nearly all references to it outside of the fact im pretty sure you can have johnny tag and clone aisha as companions in sr4 (not entirely sure though since its been months since i played sr4 last and you do have to unlock them).

plus the line that the president has in the "get schwifty" episode' "...I'm the goddamn president of the united fucking states"... totally sounds like something he'd say when being confronted by boss for his backstabbing...

which honestly not to be tangential but i have to talk about that now bc im sooo realizing how genius it is to make keith backstab boss.... especially because he does it right before you get put into a simulation where you have to fight Julius little? i may hark on saints row 4's writing but goddd the fan service they give to us can be soo good. It almost makes me wonder if keith david is a clone or hologram that zinyak made specifically to betray/trick boss - especially since hes the only one (other than Benjamin king, but this you could argue Ben wasnt immune to it, since it was teased in the cutscene, plus you could make the point that boss doesnt see Ben the same way they see someone like johnny whos been a long time friend and companion and even someone like matt miller, who may be a genuine threat - posessing skills boss doesnt have/understands - but boss still sees him as "lesser" or equal to them bc of who matt is outside of his keyboard) who rejects boss' advances in the ship. especially because his bitterness not only towards boss, but zinyak. He makes a mention of originally campaigning to be the president before "zinyak kicked the stool out from under him", and since hes aware earth is gone... why would he care abt being president of holograms? some of the plot points they make in sr4 are a tad annoying for the reason that they love to set up stuff like this, and the audio log collectables tell us so much, yet, they wont do anything with it unless its inherently funny.

dont get me wrong, love saints row's humor but i just wish they wouldnt sacrifice interesting plots and characters for it. And i wish they would solidify canon more.

TLDR; i do think saints row and rick and morty are connected in some way yes. the way i think the saints row universe is indeed intertwined with other adult swims shows due to saints row 3 giving us plenty of hints that the universe are connected in some way.
