Money woes... again
Hey everyone! I am once again asking for help with money, because once again things are in disaster mode. Thanks to me getting a new phone and several bills being higher than usual in Jan/Feb, my credit card debt is now close to $9000 USD.
I'm not asking y'all to pay the whole thing for me - that'd be irresponsible, greedy, and selfish - but if anyone would like to throw a few dollars my way, I'd appreciate it greatly. I'm aiming for $500 by the end of March,
I'm selling adopts over at @cassi-adopts, most of which are $5-7, featuring primarily MLP or anthro designs. Some of the MLP ones come with premade personalities, though of course the adopter is welcome to do as they please once the adoption is complete.
I recently got myself a ko-fi account to make things a little easier? Question mark? I'm unfamiliar with the whole process as I've never used ko-fi on either end of a transaction, so I'm hoping I've set it up properly lol.
Ko-fi: 84cassi
PayPal: cassidypeterson[@]yahoo[.]com
I'll be reblogging this with updates every few days or so.
Current status: $0/500
I would also like to add that I will not be giving anyone my personal information in order to receive aid. Not my real name, not my phone number, not my mailing address, and not my bank account number. Ko-fi and PayPal are the only ways I will be accepting money.
PLEASE DO NOT REBLOG THIS POST PAST MARCH 31 2024

Help Mod Vash afford to visit his partner!
And also help me pay off my credit cards ;w;
Hi everyone its Mod Vash!
This is both an update and a request- I was able to my wheelchair! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to use it much in public due to my family's refusal to be seen with me in it, and its a bit too heavy for me to lift in and out of my car alone so I'm just waiting for them to come around and realize it's more embarrassing for them for me to faint in public because i couldn't sit down then it is for me to be in a wheelchair.
On a mostly unrelated note- I want to visit my boyfriend in October for his birthday but my boss has cut my hours by a lot due to business being slow, and I have a lot of credit card debt. I plan to try to do synesthesia drawings of people's names, or pets' names, or anything really- I'm not that good at art or anything but I want to be able to do something to earn money on the side. I'll edit or reblog this post once I have some examples done of some of my friends names and stuff as an example, and prices will vary based on the complexity of the name and the request. I think I'll start at $5 for a basic name and request (i.e: sara, shapes) and go up as names and requsts get harder (i.e: Hector, landscape)
My family does not want me driving over 20 hours so they want me to fly out instead and flights will probably be around $600 for a 2 way ticket at the cheapest, likely more. Really, there isn't a set solid goal for this as any money left over from buying my tickets will be used to either buy stuff when I'm with him or paying my credit cards off.
I plan to start doordashing too but with gas prices I dont know if I'd make any profit from it.
If you want to commission me for anything, please send me a message!
If you just want to donate, my venmo is PastelPrince, I have a paypal and Chime account too but please dm me for those!
TENATIVE GOAL: $1,000
TLDR; I need money to go visit my partner for their birthday and any funds left over will be used to pay down my credit cards, and I am opening commisions for synesthesia (digital) paintings, and possibly more in the future.
Thank you so much <3

I’m still deep in credit card debt but someone sent a very sizable donation and I’m no longer way above my credit limit with my cards. I’ll actually have some credit available to get gas or purchase something if it’s an emergency.

Hey bitches! I had an unexpected death occur back home while I’m currently living internationally. Despite the expensive plane tickets (damn you, American Airlines!) I made the decision to buy the tickets on my credit card. However, now I’m worried that I’m going to snowball into debt. I’ve always paid my credit cards on time and in full and my statements are always $0/month because I pay everything off. Do you have any advice for how I can make this unexpected expense go away quickly?!
Deep breath, babycakes! We gotchu. Here is our guide for the best, easiest, and fastest ways to pay off that unexpected credit card debt:
The Best Way To Pay off Credit Card Debt: From the Snowball To the Avalanche
Stick to a plan and be a little more frugal in the coming weeks if you can. A credit card is a tool, and you shouldn't be afraid of it.
Weirdly enough, I ALSO had to buy some expensive airline tickets to visit a dying family member recently. And I ALSO put it on a credit card because it was an unexpected expense. I will literally be using one of the methods in the above article myself. Call it Bitch-tested and Bitch-approved!
Did we just help you out? Tip us!

we painted the floor!
we also pulled out the base boards. We're hoping to paint the walls and start installing the new floors on Sunday.
It's been a few days and the room smells pretty strongly of paint. We had to use oil based primer because that's the best thing for getting rid of bad smells.
I do not have money for this but what else can I do? We need the house livable. I still haven't gotten to the kitchen. We're eating out way too much. Living here is a nightmare and it's been so expensive to fix. My roommates have not helped out at all, not with cleaning or paying for supplies to clean up their mess.
I'm about to get a pay cut at work and I'm so stressed out about it. We've been watching a lot of Caleb Hammer's Financial Audit and I've been feeling guilty about eating out constantly and having so much debt and now I'm going to have to use credit cards to pay for new flooring 😭 I don't have an emergency fund yet.

An update
My dad is sending me some money, which will catch me up on some medical bills that have been hovering over me since January, and then provide about $400 on top of that towards my credit card. However, my credit card debt is still in disaster mode at about $6,500 (counting the money I'm getting from Dad).
So I'd like to ask again for people to check out my adoptables over at @cassi-adopts. Current options are furry, MLP, and Animal Crossing. I haven't uploaded anything new in a while, sorry.
I'll also accept direct payments through PayPal - cassidypeterson[@]yahoo[.]com
I am currently taking money through PayPal only. This is non-negotiable.

Welp. I just applied for a job at a pizza place I used to work at.
Yes I have a full-time WFH job. But with the new year (and our city’s minimum wage being raised again with that), I want to go balls to the wall with saving money and paying off my debt. I can’t keep living like this, paycheck to paycheck, with my credit card just slowly (or not so slowly) rising. I just haven’t been able to get my head above water lately.
I know I could just get a better paying job, but I love my job. I know I could just try harder with saving my current money, which should be enough to live on based on my bills, but it’s a struggle with my debt payments. I just can’t catch up even though I logically know how to (shoutout to Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover). I know I could do DoorDash, but I can’t stick to it consistently. Plus the driving is just too much sometimes, and the pay is inconsistent too.
I feel like having a separate second job whose entire paycheck and purpose is to pay off my debt and get some savings going will help. And it’s a real job that I have to show up to unlike DoorDash. I just want to be able to reset all my debts and then I can quit after that. It’s a temporary situation; it’d be awesome if it could be less than a year but that depends on me I guess.
Plus if I have a part-time job like this, then that’s time I’m spending on my feet (which I’ve honestly missed about food service/retail), and time I’m not just vegging out, and time I’m not smoking weed, and time I’m not out doing things that spend money instead of make money. Honestly it’d be good for me with how chill my life is right now. I know I’ll feel differently after 2-3 months of working the job probably, but it’s still true.
And yes customers can suck. After over 10 years in this industry before switching to WFH, I have clear memories. But I’ve had a solid amount of time off to rest from that. And pizza is just pizza... If there’s a problem, it’s not regarding someone’s health or insurance like it was when I was a PT admin. We can just make a new pizza or refund their money. Also, I only want to do about 10-15 hours a week.
And yes I’ll have to give up some nights/weekends too. But it’s not supposed to be fun. Albeit there are things I miss about food service (if you can believe it lol), but I’m doing this for a reason. This is a situation I got myself into. And I’ve been in it for years. Enough!!
Anyway, hoping to go back to a place I liked for the most part, otherwise I’ll start applying to other places. Then the Dave Ramsey plan goes into effect.
