Deke walks towards Daisy’s room, hoping to find her there, so he could tell her he left the lemons on her bed. He doesn’t want her to think someone else, like Mack, was the one who has feelings for her.
Stopping in front of her room’s doorway, he knocks on the side. Daisy lifts her head up to look at him. He glances to see that the lemons are still on her bed, but his gaze moves to the big bag on the floor. “What’s in the bag?”
“My mom.”
“Oh.” That wasn’t what he expected, but he supposes these kind of things are normal in the SHIELD team. He walks into the room, “I heard about your little dust up, I just wanted to make sure you’re all right.”
“I’ve been better. It’s like the universe keeps reminding me I should never have come back from the future,” she pauses, turning to look at her bed, “also, some creep put a bunch of lemons on my bed, as some weird sort of prank.”
Deke scoffs, glamcing at the lemons and Daisy. “Sounds like classic Fitz.” He lets out an airy and strained laugh. Curses flow through his mind, he should’ve known giving lemons wasn’t a custom in the past. “Look, I- um, I feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. I, on the other hand, I lived in a lighthouse my entire life, only to time travel into the past and still spend every single day of my life inside the freaking lighthouse. So..it’s like, even without Kasius gone, this place just has this leash that keeps pulling me back in.”
“Well, I’m glad you stuck around, even if it’s a little crazy.” She gives him a small smile before looking down at her hands.
The smile makes Deke feel all nervous and bubbly inside. Despite the setback with the lemons, he decides to gather his courage. “Well, maybe it’s not that crazy.” He chuckles quietly. “I-I’ve been wanting to tell you something since we’ve gotten, you know,” he moves to sit next to Daisy on the couch, “I don’t want to say closer, but-“
Daisy scoffs, interrupting him. “You really don’t. Everyone who gets close to me ends up dying.”
“Me too.” Deke says almost enthusiastically, as if that was a good thing. “And that’s why I feel like we have so much in common.”
“My mom.” Daisy mumbles.
“I-I know, and-“ he tries to continue, but Daisy isn’t listening anymore.
“Lincoln.”
“Who’s Lincoln?”
“Uh, Lincoln Campbell. He..he was the first inhuman that I became close with. Fought at our side, and he- he died. He died for me, really.” She sighs, looking at the floor, the memories seeping into her mind. “Right when we were getting going, or, you know, getting good.”
“It sounds like you were really in love with this guy.”
“I was.” She smiles, now other memories invading her thoughts. Deke opens her mouth to confess, but Daisy beats her to it, “luckily I met Y/N.”
“Y/N?” He frowns. “Like, you’re lucky she’s your friend?”
“No,” Daisy laughs, “she’s my girlfriend.”
“As in..you’re dating?”
“Yes.”
“Oh.”
“What?” She raises her brows, fully turning to look at him now.
His eyes widen. “Nothing! I just didn’t know the two of you are dating.” He explains quickly, hoping she can’t see the heartbreak on his face.
“You’re actually the first one to know.”
Deke actually starts smiling. It’s a good feeling to be the one to find out something before anyone else, also, he is relieved the others didn’t send him on a fool’s errand while knowing Daisy isn’t even single. “Well, that’s nice.”
The moment gets interrupted by Y/N walking into the room, “Dais, I heard about the f-“ she stops on her track once she notices Deke sitting there. “Oh, sorry to interrupt. I’ll leave you to it.”
“Deke knows.” Daisy states with a smile, offering her hand for Y/N, so she’d come sit with them.
“Wonderful.” She mumbles. “Does Deke know how to keep his big mouth shut?”
He raises his hands and nods. “Deke does know how to keep his big mouth shut.” He would never tell her, but Y/N actually scares him a little bit, in a cool way. He thinks she is cool. Which he would also never tell her.
Daisy laughs, kissing Y/N. Deke looks away at that, feeling a ting of pain at the affection, but he’ll get over it. So, he stays in the room, talking with the pair. Because he thinks this’ll be a great trio.

Hello, Kaitlynn. I have a Skye/Daisy X reader request.
Reader is a lot like May and has taken a liking to Skye, Reader overhears the team talking about Skye (after she gets her powers) and she defends Skye. (Skye being there to hear what she says.)
Defense (Dais x Barton!Reader)

Glass shatters over Skye and (Y/n)’s heads.
(Y/n) grabs her girlfriend’s hand, pulling her along.
Skye’s hands tremble, and (Y/n) leads her down one of the staircases into a dungeon like Ward’s.
(Y/n) sits Skye down on one of the beds.
“Honey, you can do this,” (Y/n) brushes a tear from Skye’s cheek as the room continues to shake. “We can do this. I believe in you.”
“I can’t,” Skye whispers. “I can’t ma-ake it stop,” Skye’s voice breaks, more tears running down her face. “Everyone is at risk.
“Honey, look at me,” (Y/n) says, moving to sit on the bed beside her lover. “Focus,” she takes Skye’s hands, brushing the tops gently with her thumbs.
“Yes, you can,” (Y/n) turns her back on her girlfriend for a moment as a sword is stabbed through the barrier (Y/n) had just put up.
“Agent Barton,” Sif yells through the barrier. “Release the girl.”
“Like hell,” (Y/n) replies.
“(Y/n), she’ll get through!” Skye says, meeting her lover’s eyes with wide eyes.
“Ignore it,” (Y/n) tells Skye, though her voice was gentle. “Remember, focus.”
The barrier breaks, and Sif steps through.
In a quick motion, Skye leans forward, grabbing (Y/n)’s ICER from her belt, shooting herself in the chest.
The quaking stops and (Y/n) tears her gaze away from Sif.
Forgetting the Asguardian, (Y/n) lunges at the bed, tapping Skye’s cheeks with a hand.
“Skye!” (Y/n) leans over her lover’s body, pulling Skye’s head into her lap. Tears fall down onto Skye’s cheeks as (Y/n) runs her fingers through Skye’s hair.
“She harmed herself,” Sif says, but (Y/n) doesn’t respond, too focused on Skye.
Coulson and May charge down the stairs.
“Even though she knew it meant giving up her freedom,” Coulson says, stepping up to Sif.
“All to save the rest of you,” Sif finishes, her gaze falling back on (Y/n) and Skye.
“Don’t you see? She wants to get better,” Coulson tells Sif.
May walks over to the bed, resting a comforting hand on (Y/n)’s shoulder.
“If you take Skye away from the people she loves,” Coulson goes on, “she’ll only get worse.”
. . .
(Y/n) is walking from Skye’s hospital bed to their shared room when she hears voices.
The remainder of the SHIELD team is cleaning up the glass while Coulson and May take Vin-Tak and Lady Sift to a place where Lady Sif can summon the Bifrost.
"Jemma . . ." Fitz begins. "Um . . . I know you feel that I could have been, uh . . . a bit more forthright -" Fitz pauses.
Jemma chuckles sarcastically, "Forthright. Fitz, as understatements go I think that qualifies as an instant classic. You lied to me."
"Okay, so now we're even," Fitz replies, putting his hands on his hips. "Could you blame me, the way you were going on about Raina, that she's a-a-a plague to be eradicated?" Fitz questions. "I -"
"Skye is my friend. She’s different," Simmons retorts.
"Oh, yeah. Like I was your friend, and then I changed?" Fitz asks. "How did you handle that?"
By this point, the two had caught the attention of Mack, Bobbi, and Hunter, and (Y/n)’s eyes had glued themselves to the scene in front of her.
"Uh, t-the point is, secrets don't help any of us," Mack says. "Y/n) and Skye should have come clean," he says.
"What, and risk being locked up like animals?" Fitz asks. "Studied? Or who knows what else? No, I wouldn't let either of them."
"Oh, you wouldn't let them," Jemma asks.
"We could have handled them," Mack says. "In a way that would have kept everyone safe."
"It wasn't fair to us, Fitz," Bobbi says softly. "We had a right to know."
"A right to know," Fitz echoes. "What - is that the same way that Sif and the Kree had a right to know?"
"I think this situation's a little bit different, mate," Hunter responds.
"No, you would have done to them exactly what Sif and the Kree wanted to," Fitz argues.
"You don't know that," Simmons says.
"Yes, I do know that!" Fitz yells. "They would - You would - You'd 'handle them'! Mack just said it! Like, uh - Skye is something to be locked away in a cage somewhere. We should be protecting her."
"No, Fitz," Mack interrupts. "We're the ones that need protection from her." Then Mack goes silent, looking over Simmons's shoulder to meet (Y/n)’s eyes.
“You do understand that she shot herself to protect us?” (Y/n)’s voice was deathly quiet, though there was no doubt that the others could hear her.
“It was only an ICER.” Simmons replies and (Y/n) lets out a laugh, and the other’s wince at the slight hysteria in the sound.
“What if Skye hadn’t known it was an ICER?” (Y/n) says, her words taking on a harsh tone. “What if it had been an actual gun? She shot herself in the -” (Y/n)’s words break as she sucks in a breath of air. “She shot herself in the heart. If that had been a real gun, she would’ve -” her voice breaks again.
Mack, Bobbi, and Hunter’s gazes fall on something behind (Y/n), and the higher level agent turns, meeting her girlfriend’s watery gaze.
Skye looks so hurt, so betrayed that (Y/n) almost doesn’t follow. Then (Y/n) metaphorically kicks herself, knowing that her lover wasn’t mad at her.

Title: No Control (Daisy Johnson x Female!Reader)
Words: 2452
Trigger Warnings: Blood, mind control, manipulation, night terrors, talks of death, horrible grammar (Let me know if I should add more)
[A/n: Okay, I may have deviated from the prompt just a little bit, but in my defense, this is technically my first time writing Reader/Daisy Johnson so I had to feel it out a little!]
Main Masterlist | Read my stuff on AO3 | Leave Requests
The rope dug into your skin like a nasty row of teeth, biting at the skin, drawing a flourishing flash of bright blood. The image made you pull harder in a vicious tug of strength. Your jaw ached, tasted thick of metal. If you could just get out of this stupid chair, this horrible cell. It was much too small for your liking.
Quake, Daisy as you knew her, watched you with a lifted eyebrow. Her fingers were curled around the iPad that connected her to the controls of your containment. She grimaced, a wetness building in her stare.
When your struggle against the ropes had proved fruitless, you glanced up at her through wild, unkept hair, chest heaving. “What did you do to me? Why can’t I get out of this? Let me out of this!”
It felt like you were underwater, your chest heavy with discontent, even when you went slack in your binds. The first inkling that something was wrong had been swallowed down, the nightmares that ripped through your subconscious and pulled you from sleep.
For weeks, you’d wake up drenched in your own sweat as you tried to draw any type of air into your lungs. It often ended with you sitting, exhausted and scared, in the kitchen of the compound. First, you’d drink a cup of tea, then you’d pace and drink another, before finally succumbing to exhaustion on the common room sofa.
Agent May had found you the first night, just before dawn. She didn’t’ poke or prod, instead, she gently woke you and wordlessly gestured back towards your bunk. Other agents would be walking in and out, scourging for breakfast and their own fix of caffeine.
Those dreams- those nightmares- would soon leak into your everyday routine. As you sparred with Bobbie, you’d thrown a particularly deadly right hook. It was the color of her eyes, the seafoam dusty grey that you’d always found so endearing flashed and ripped into his gaze.
You’d drawn blood and stumbled back on the blue mat. Other recruits gaped at the two of you, floating by the edge of the training room. Bobbi pulled her fingers from the laceration on her cheek, already forming a bruise.
“I’m sorry,” came your whispered response. You grabbed your bag from the nearby bench, louder this time “really, I’m sorry.”
Bobbi called after you as you pushed open the doors of the training room and shoved through agents until you made it to the safety of your room. Except, it didn’t’ feel much like safety anymore. Your fingers were shaking, and your knuckles had a smear of dried brown blood, Bobbi’s blood, against them.
It had been years, nearly a decade, since you’d first been approached by Phil Coulson with his grandiose idea of forming a team to take down hero-level threats within SHIELD, because after all, everyone needs a backup plan. And while you’d been hesitant at first, that single decision in a Montanna bar changed the course of your life. Changed your isolation tactics, the person you had once been.
SHIELD was your family. They’d slowly ebbed away the distant memories of what had created you in the first place: the brainwashing, the torture, the misguided loyalty was all on the backburner. You’d forgotten just how cold it was.
Something was wrong. Something was wrong. Something was wrong.
Without warning, the icy hand of your captor was closing around your throat once more, but this time, you were surrounded with people who you cared for. The thought of hurting them had you hunched over the bathroom in your room, retching whatever mint-tea concoction you’d swallowed down hours before.
At one point, you blacked out, and when you came to, when you finally pulled yourself from the scent of bile and blood and regret, you were here. They’d moved you to a containment unit and restrained you with ropes that did no favor to your already aching body.
Your fingers were still coated in blood, too much to be from your outburst in the gym. And while you still panicked, while you were still choked with fear, there was a calmness about the situation. If you were in here, you weren’t out there. With them.
“Whose blood is this?” you asked.
“Hard to say,” Daisy replied. “You did quite the number. It’s hard for agents to fight off a super soldier, you know?”
Your jaw began to ache as you pressed your teeth together, peering at her through strands of sweat-caked hair. The rope wouldn’t hold you for long, but the containment unit would. There was an electric buzz from the forcefield strong enough to hold back ten-thousand super soldiers.
Daisy had a tepid stare trained on you that made you squirm. You tested your strength against your binds, pressing and pressing until the frayed edges drew blood, dripped down the tips of your fingers until the floor was puddled with it.
A laugh bubbled up in your throat. You lolled your head, trying to loosen up your shoulders. Everything was weak and fuzzy and above all else, you felt the hiss of someone’s voice in the back of your mind. Eyes seeing through your eyes, hands gripping past your own.
There was a poison to Daisy’s voice “You just leveled a room full of twenty-five agents and you’re laughing?”
She’d clicked off the iPad, set it aside. Daisy stood and crossed her well-toned arms over her chest. God, even in your disillusioned state, you were acutely aware of your feelings for her. They’d been festering under the surface for a better part of the last three years.
“No, no… I just…”
With an extra tug, the mass of rope fell to the ground in a heap of ties and caked blood. You couldn’t distinguish your own from those of the agents that you be felled. Your fingers worked at the lacerations.
“You’ve got a very motherly tone right now. I mean, you’re scolding me, actually scolding me!”
“What do you expect me to do, y/n? What I witnessed in there was one of the scariest, most startling things I have ever seen and you expect me not to scold you? What the fuck is going on?”
Her voice cracked during the last sentence and your heart tugged at the sound. You’d heard it before as she sunk to the floor years ago when Lincon had perished, and when she’d succumbed to the fear of her own powers growing out of control.
The part of you that was still you didn’t want to cause that pain, and most certainly didn’t want the fear to take over. You stood, approaching the barrier. It was the only thing between you both, and it was highly charged.
You’d been tempted to touch it, to place your hand against the electricity save for the pain. Instead, you started pacing back and forth, the length of your makeshift cell. “This is where we held Agent Ward, isn’t it?”
She didn’t’ answer, instead, she swallowed the lump in her throat as you examined the metal frame bed and the cameras that were situated around each corner of the cell. Part of you swelled with pride, being confined in the same spot the biggest threat to the team had been in. You quickly drowned the thought, shaking your head.
“Does it bother you? Watching two people you love fall down the same path?” The words had slipped past your lips before you could quell them. Instead, you tutted “You’re well on your way to a pattern, young lady. One more good-looking sociopath and you’ll collect all three.”
“Don’t,” Daisy snarled “You need to tell me what’s wrong. This isn’t you.”
You stopped pacing, lilting your head to the side as you stared at her. She was itching to leave, and you wanted her to. It would make all of this easier. Your entire body itched too, wanted to give in to the full control. It wasn’t something you were willing to do in front of Daisy.
“Do you know how much control I have to practice on a daily basis, Zee? Just a little more strength than usual and I rip a cabinet door off. I shatter a mug. I punch a co-worker in the face. It’s a constant push between what’s right to do and what I was designed to do.”
“So what? You decided you’re done watching your strength? That doesn’t warrant an attempt at massacre.”
“You don’t get it!” You punched the barrier, reveling in the feel of electricity that moved through your fingertips, your arm and elbow until it dissipated altogether. She flinched but didn’t step back. “When Hydra… why Hydra trained me it was all I knew. I would wake up, follow orders, and be put back to sleep before I could even register what I had done. Who I had killed, what I destroyed.”
This was something you had refused to talk about. Coulson knew the gist of your containment, of your de-programming because that was all listed in your SHIELD file. But the true horrors of your ordeal were a mystery to the entire team. It was behind you. He was behind you.
“A SHEILD team raided one of Hydras bases and I was there. I was willing to go without a fight and Hydra was willing to leave me there to absolve for their sins.” You chuckled at that, shaking your head “There was months of imprisonment, of interrogation and then deprogramming. And finally, finally after years of trying to prove myself to Director Fury, and Agent Hill, they cleared me for duty. Cleared me to join Coulson’s team.”
You let yourself plop down onto the metal chair, suddenly too exhausted to remember why you were fighting so hard in the first place. Daisy clenched and unclenched her jaw. “Why are you telling me this?”
“Two years of deprogramming doesn’t make up for a lifetime of torture, of molding me into the perfect killing machine.” You swallowed hard “I played my part, I ignored the feeling of being watched, the dark thoughts that tried to break through into my new, good, life. I fought every single day to make sure all of you were safe and unharmed and… suddenly, suddenly the people who were controlling me got stronger.”
Daisy shifted, uncrossing her arms “You’re saying you’re still under Hydra’s control?”
“I’m saying I wasn’t strong enough to fight off their hold on me. A few months ago I started blacking out and the nightmares, they got worse. But everyone was finally settled, finally happy. We were happy”
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Daisy’s voice waivered “Y/n, one of the perks of having a girlfriend is being able to talk to them, to tell them things. You should have come to me.”
“I didn’t want to hurt anyone. I thought I could handle it. I thought I could keep things under control.”
Daisy let out a long sigh and lowered herself back into her own chair. Her elbows resting on her knees. She bounced her leg, staring at you with those deep brown eyes that you could drown in. Somehow, her being there, was enough if only for a moment.
“I have to tell Coulson.”
“I know,” you said.
“He’ll know what to do. We’ll get through this, y/n.” Her words were whispered, eyes glassy with emotion. “I love you. We all do. This is just another challenge, okay? We’re here to help.”
“I admire your perseverance, Daisy, but the hold hydra has on me. It’s bigger than me, it’s bigger than us.”
She swallowed thickly “You don’t mean that.”
But you did, didn’t you? Your skin felt like it was on fire and you wanted nothing more than to peel it off strip by strip until there was a new layer glinting under the industrial lights. Anything to stop the uncomfortable feeling of not being in your own body. You’d gotten to complicit under the watchful eye of SHIELD. Hydra didn’t like that, and at this point, neither did you.
It had been so easy, so simple to rip through those agents as they aimed red dots at your center. You didn’t care if they fired their weapons, you hadn’t a care in the world and it was freeing.
It was hard to wager that with the sad look your girlfriend was giving you now. Her fingers were tapping against her knees, hardly a perfect interrogation technique. It was hard not to crave her touch, her mouth hot on yours. Even if you did give yourself up to Hydra entirely, there would always be Daisy.
You lilted your head, narrowing your eyes at her. She’d be just as easy to break; just a little bit of homegrown brainwashing and she’d be by your side again. Both of you dripping in blood. A power like hers, resting under her fingertips, would be invaluable.
Standing, you gently touched the barrier separating you both. There was a subtle electronic buzz that moved through your fingertips and up to your elbow. It was warming, a constant comfort, almost. “Darling, we could make all of this go away. Just the two of us.”
She lifted her hazel stare from the tablet in front of her, reading your vitals like an open book. They were steady, you were sure of it. There was curiosity in her stare.
“Do you remember the house in Vermont we talked about?” You dragged your fingers against the barrier, a blue trail following fast. “The two of us can forget all of this, forget SHIELD and Hydra. We can go there, start a family. Isn’t that what you want?”
You could read it in her expression, it was exactly what she wanted. But Daisy Johnson was no fool. Despite your terse begging and manipulative tactics, she remained calm. One knee was balanced on the edge of the chair, the other foot planted firmly on the floor.
“Rae’s Restaurant… the floorplan that we drew out on the back of a placemat. Two stories, a nursery, and office. A massive backyard. I remember it well.” Daisy stood again, facing off against you with nothing but an electrical panel holding you back. “This isn’t the you I imagined it with. Where is the kindness? The selfless woman that I fell in love with?”
You gritted your teeth. “Gone. Nothing but a fabrication, baby. I’m just offering you one last chance to join me. I have no reservations about destroying you right along with this entire organization.”
Daisy swallowed hard, trying to quell the lump in her throat. She refused to let herself cry. “I’d like to see you try.”
“I do love a challenge.”

Daisy went to your bedroom and she sits on your bed. You are putting your notebook in your backpack.
“Feelin nervous, Y/n?” Daisy asked.
“A little bit. I'm not really happy starting over at a new school” You said.
“Hey, it will be okay. You are not alone” Daisy said.
You are staying with your cousin Daisy because your parents are away on a business trip. Your aunt May walked into the room
“Girls, it's time for school let's go or you two are going to walk?” May said.
“We will take the ride,” You said.
“Good choice” May smiled.
May went downstairs and went to her car. A few minutes later, you and Daisy get in the car.
“Y/n, go to the office to pick up your class schedule,” May said.
“Okay, I will. How come, uncle Phil, didn't have breakfast with us?” You said.
“There was an emergency at the office. But he will be home for dinner” May said.
You and Daisy say bye to May, then Daisy showed you how to get to the office. Daisy went to meet with her friends. You wait for the lady to find your class schedule. You look around the office, then someone walked in and stand next to you. You look at her.
“Hi,” She said.
“Hi,” You said.
The lady gave you the class schedule. You start to read it
“Do you need help to find your first class?” She asked.
“And you are?” You asked.
“Oh, my name is Kate Bishop. And you are?” Kate said.
“My name is Y/n,” You said.
“No last name?” Kate smiled.
“Nope,” You said.
“Kate, this year try not to do something foolish. Here is your class schedule” Pepper Potts.
“It won't be like last year, I promise,” Kate said.
“Okay, will see. Now you two go to class or get detention” the principal Pepper Potts said.
You and Kate leave the office, you let her see your class schedule.
“Cool, we have three same classes,” Kate said.
“Cool,” You said.
You and Kate walk into class and Daisy sees Kate smiling at you. You sit next to Daisy and Kate sits in the back of the room. Bruce Banner your teacher starts to talk about the laws of mechanics and electricity. And you start to take notes, then you get a text from Daisy.
Daisy - did you become friends with Kate Bishop?
You - we only spoke one time. Take it easy
“No texting in my classroom or I will take away the phones,” Bruce Banner said.
You quickly put your phone away. You keep listening to what your teacher has to say.
-----
Your next class is mechanical engineering, and your professor is Al MacKenzie. And Kate is sitting next to you.
“His class is easy. Just don't let him catch you texting on your phone because he won't give back until the end of the day” Kate said.
“Thanks for letting me know” Y/n smiled.
You noticed something on your left wrist and a name appears. You start to freak out on the inside and you hid your wrist with your sleeve. The first name Just appeared on your wrist and it's Kate Bishop. But it didn't click in your head of you already know who is Kate.
After class, you don't tell your cousin anything about the name. You went to the bathroom, to wash off the name but it didn't work.
----
Now, you have gym class with Kate.
“Looks, like we have many different classes together,” Kate said.
“Is that a bad thing?” Y/n asked.
Kate smiled and you smiled back at her.
“It's not a bad thing, I promise” Kate smiled again.
Your gym teacher is Steve Rogers. He is making everyone play soccer today. But you and Kate are on opposite teams. Now everyone starts to play, and Steve starts to watch you play and he is impressed by your skills.
“Y/n, come over here,” Steve said.
You walked towards him.
“Yeah?” You said.
“You should consider joining the soccer team. I'm the coach and your skills are impressive” Steve said.
“Wow, thanks. But didn't tryouts finish last week?” You said.
“Yes, but I need you on the team. Do you want to join the team?” Steve said.
While you are talking to Steve, Kate noticed a name on your left wrist. She starts to panic because she assumed that she won't get a soulmate. She stares at the name then Steve blew the whistle which made Kate stop getting lost in her thoughts.
✬ ✯ ✫ ✬
Kate is with her best friend Yelena. Kate is ready to go to her archery club and Yelena is tagging along. Kate told Yelena about the name and there is no last name just yet.
“Did you tell this person Y/n, that you are her soulmate?” Yelena asked.
“No. I don't know anything about her” Kate said.
“I will figure it out. I want to be sure, that you will be happy” Yelena said.
“Awww. You care about my happiness” Kate smiled.
“Kate Bishop, you are on thin ice,” Yelena said.
Kate hugged Yelena fast and then went to practice. And her coach for the archery club is Clint Barton. Daisy is also in the club and she gets along with Kate.
“I saw you talking to Y/n,” Kate said.
“Yeah, she is my cousin. Ready to lose Kate?” Daisy said.
Kate laughed.
“Actually, it's the opposite. I like watching you lose to me” Kate smiled.
“Whatever, Kate” Daisy smiled.
Kate and Daisy did become competitive with each other. Later, while on break Kate watched you play soccer across the field.
-----
At home, you still noticed the name hasn't disappeared from your wrist. May walked into your bedroom
“Y/n, what's wrong?” May asked.
“I got a name on my wrist. And I don't know” You said.
“Are you feeling scared and nervous at the same time? It's normal to feel like that” May said.
“Yeah, I'm feeling like that. Her name is Kate Bishop” you said.
“What's on your mind?” May asked.
“What if she doesn't like me? I didn't pay attention to so-called soulmates” You said.
May gently touched your back.
“You are over thinking everything. She is probably feeling nervous and scared just like you. Just take it one step at a time. Let's go get dinner or your food will be cold” May said.
“Thanks,” You said.
May hug you then you go to the dining room with her. Later May told Phil about Kate Bishop, they decided to do a background check. Later, you are alone with Daisy and you told her about Kate, she is in shock.
✬ ✯ ✫ ✬
You are in the mechanics club and Tony Stark is teaching everyone how to build a robot. Kate noticed and she walked in and said hi to you.
“Did you know how to build a robot?” Kate asked.
“This is my second time. My first robot with my uncle Phil. You?” You said.
“I don't know how to build a robot. But I am very skilled at archery and the I'm the leader of my group” Kate smiled.
Kate felt a tingle on her wrist and You felt the same thing.
“Kate, are you joining the club or got lost?” Tony asked.
“Funny, Mr. Stark,” Kate said
You watched Kate leave, you smiled at her.
-----
“Kate Bishop, why are you smiling so much?” Yelena asked.
“I-I think I want to date Y/n,” Kate said.
“Wow, that is a change. First, you didn't care about dating but now you do” Yelena said.
“I got to spend a little bit of time with Y/n and I liked it,” Kate said.
“Well, I did a background check on Y/n. She is clean, she is related to people in the agent of shields. Her parents do travel a lot for business” Yelena said.
“I want to ask her to the school dance!” Kate smiled.
“No one is stopping you, Kate,” Yelena said.
“And you are coming too” Kate smiled.
“No no no no,” Yelena said.
Kate tries to convince Yelena to go to the school dance.

Ok can i request Daisy Johnson giving her girlfriend R the chesseyest date in the world including Cheesy pickup lines and this prompt 'I swear, if I see one more cheesy, overdone decoration—' please and thank you
Tumblr media
A/N: So I’ve only watched one season of Agents of Shield so far, I don’t know this character that well but I tried my best.
“Are you ready?” Daisy asked, knocking at your door in the hotel you’d rented out for this mission. You hastily grabbed your purse and checked how you looked in the mirror.
You wore a fav/color cropped t-shirt, loose denim jacket with some lining on the inside, black ripped jeans and black puma sneakers. She had said it wasn’t anywhere too fancy, this was the best choice.
“Yep.” You answered, opening the door to find her waiting in front of the doorway.
Daisy wore her black leather jacket, black leggings, a maroon t shirt and killer boots. Her hair was loose and she wore a bit more makeup than usual, which was a little surprising to you. She had a bouquet in her hand as she grinned at you.
You took the bouquet with a grin matching hers and put it in your house quickly, making a mental note to put it in water later.
“Let’s go then.” Daisy smirked, offering you her arm to take, you rolled your eyes playfully and took her arm, letting her lead you out of the hotel.
Daisy had rented out a black mustang for the date which she opened the door for you, smirking the entire time. She walked into the driver’s seat after, you hadn’t seen her feeling this mischievous in a long time and honestly, you were a little scared.
“Where are we going?” You asked as she started driving, she turned around and winked at you, mischief in her brown eyes.
“It’s a surprise.” She sang, switching on the radio which was playing one of your favorite songs, you grinned and started humming. “Feel free to start an opera.” She joked, you whacked her on the arm lightly but took her advice, singing the entire way to the date.
She had driven you to an abandoned park next to a large pond or lake, you couldn’t tell the difference in the dark. She got out and opened the door for you, reaching into her pocket for the blindfold she had gotten with her.
“Oh come on.” You whined after closing the door, she shrugged in response.
“It’s part of the surprise.” She answered, you groaned and let her tie the blindfold, reaching out for something to hold instantly.
Daisy reached out to hold your hands, smiling and constantly looking behind her shoulder to make sure she was leading you the right way, rubbing her thumb over your knuckles every once in a while to reassure you that she wasn’t going to run you into a tree. She let go and quickly ran to turn the lights on before coming back.
“There, you ready?” She asked, positioning you to face what she had prepared, you nodded and took off the blindfold, the sight taking your breath away.
There was a small white gazebo with string lights on the inside and a portable stove and the ingredients to make your favorite food inside. You grinned and ran inside, not waiting for her to follow you, there was even a speaker to play some music with your favorite music already cued up, on the string lights there were pictures of previous dates the two of you had together.
“Wow, this is.” You turned to face Daisy who smiled sheepishly at you, rubbing her arm almost nervously. “You’re amazing.” You whispered, she grinned at you and helped you start making your favorite food.
Throughout the date, you found small sticky notes everywhere with cute messages written on them, most of them had ‘you’re beautiful’ or some other cheesy compliment written on it. Daisy glanced at you every once in a while to make sure it wasn’t too much and you were enjoying yourself, in all honesty, you were loving it.
After you finished making the food, you were just about to eat it when she stopped you, putting the fork back into your plate and pointing towards a table she had set up which was still in the dark, she groaned and quickly ran over, leaving her plate with you to light the candles.
“You are such a romantic.” You commented, rolling your eyes and walking over to the table with both of the plates.
“What can I say?” Daisy joked, shrugging and sitting across from you, taking her plate. “I just love to treat my girlfriend well.” She winked at you, you laughed and started eating, it tasted delicious, it always did when you cooked together with her.
The rest of dinner took like it normally did with both of you, joking, bantering, laughing, talking about old missions and missions to come, dreaming about a semi normal life together some day. Finally, you’d finished eating the dinner and leaned back in your seat, watching the candles flicker as she finished eating.
“But there’s more” Daisy joked, going to the kitchen and bringing both of you brownie sundaes from a fridge under the stove which you hadn’t noticed, you were genuinely blown away by the amount of effort she had put into this.
“Wow.” You awed, taking the sundae and about to dig into it with the spoon she brought you when she stopped you, you almost groaned.
“I swear, if I see one more cheesy, overdone decoration.” You complained jokingly, Daisy feigned hurt and pointed to where she had set up a movie projector and a blanket fort with string lights, remote controlled this time.
“Don’t tell me you don’t like being spoiled like this.” Daisy said, moving to slide one arm around your waist, you rolled your eyes and let her lead you into the blanket fort which had both, cheesy sticky notes with reasons why she loved you and pictures of both of you together.
“I love it.” You murmured, looking around in the blanket fort while Daisy cued up your favorite movie on the projector, one sticky note catching your eye, it said ‘I love you’
“I love you Daisy Johnson.” You stated, sticking the sticky note on your forehead and facing her, a huge grin on your face.
She paused, freezing in the action when she heard those words fall from your mouth, she had spent hours preparing this in a frenzy, hoping you would like it, like her, but the nagging thought in her mind was always there, you would get sick of this life, sick of her and leave.
But after those words, the nagging thoughts went away, you were hers.
“I love you too.” Daisy whispered, almost scared to say it.
You cuddled into her while she played the movie, leaning back on the pillows as your head rested on her shoulder while eating the sundae, Daisy let you but continued eating while watching the movie, she finished first and pulled you into her lap, sliding her arms around your waist while watching.
You knew she needed constant reassurance that you were safe, that you were hers, and you loved it more than anything, you loved her more than anything.
A/N: sorry if it’s bad, idk the character too well so feedback is amazing!

Dating Phil Coulson Would Include...
Tumblr media
Having known him since your days at the Academy.
During the Academy you two were known to be both good at what you do and also clumsy or dorky.
At some point you broke the window in Coulsons room, of course he took the blame for you (it was hilarious).
Having him retell Fury's story about losing his eye to you throughout the 90s.
"He fought a kree, and it took his whole eye!" "Wow, the whole eye? I just thought it was part of it, thanks for clarifying." "Was that sarcasm?"
Being one of the two people - outside of Coulson himself - being allowed to touch and drive Lola.
"Now, whatever you do, don't scratch her." "What if she scratches me?" "You deserved it at that point."
Teasing him about his embarrassing encounters with Captain America.
Especially when he tried to tell Cap about how he watched him after he was free from ice.
"You watched him in his sleep? You were present while he was unconscious? Jeez, what do you do when I'm not awake, creep." "It's not like that! I-" "Or do you just watch him?" "(Y/N)!" "I'm not hearing a no."
Teasing him about his Captain America merchandise.
"I'll give you credit for these cards, but seriously? A clock?" "It's just merchandise." "Are you such a baby that Cap needs to tell you the time?"
When there is a free moment, you two can get into heated arguments about the weirdest things.
Usually resulting in "Are all of your arguments with Coulson that dumb?" "Not usually why?" "Well not even 5 minutes ago we heard you arguing about the Arizona state bird." "...Yeah, they're all that dumb."
One arguement that Coulson started with you was about Cap.
"He was in ice for about 76 years, right. He looks 25 years old. Is he actually 101 years old?" "He's 26, Coulson. 76 years would put him at 102, we also just past his birthday, he is 103." "WHY DO YOU KNOW THIS?" "WELL, IF YOU EVER SHUT UP I WOULDN'T."
His favorite thing to do is place his hand on your lower back and look at you.
Secretly it's your favorite thing, but you won't say anything only because he'll boast about it every time he does it.
When he does it you lean closer to him and he notices.
You occasionally catch Fitz seeking advice from Coulson about how to go about dating Simmons.
You don't even want to know what Coulson tells the poor boy...
You let Coulson spend time with Daisy because you see just how much she means to him - she's like his daughter.
You and Simmons have gotten together in the lab to talk about it, it brings a huge smile to you face every time.
Simmons actually enjoys how you react to it, not that she would openly tell you.
May has put in an extra couple of punches against Ward for you when he managed to knock you out cold and hold you to lure Coulson to him.
You have slapped Hunter for offhand comments about a sexual relationship between you and Coulson, no one needs to know anything.
"So tell me, how does it work with age?" "You're lucky you're a good agent or else I would have choked you for asking personal questions." "I just have to know."
May has her reasons to be both worried and jealous, but as a level headed person, she wouldn't and hasn't done anything to you.
You greatly appreciate how kind she is despite any of what she feels.
You have gone out of your way to help her multiple times partly for that reason and partly because she is a great agent and friend, and you wouldn't really help anyone else.
You will rarely leave Coulson gifts without reason.
When you do he thinks it's a trap or a secret admirer until he reads the crude "I know you think it's not me" note you leave attached to it.
He finds you with Mack admiring your car and Lola.
"I know you gave me this, but did you have to be so rude?" "I can't pick favorites all the time, Coulson." "You're dating me." "That's favorite enough."
"Whoa, whoa. Don't start while I'm here." "Hah, sorry Mack, he started it."
One day Daisy became like your daughter too.
You would never admit it to anyone.
Maybe just Bobbi.

Big Reputation
Prompt
Pairing: Daisy Johnson x Reader
Words: 548
Summary: You just wanna show Daisy how much you love her. :)
Warnings: None
A/N: This is so bad. I’m so sorry. Going through a big mental block, rn. I’m working on it.
Tumblr media
Y/N yawned, closing her eyes and snuggling closer to Daisy. She let her body relax while she listed to the show playing on Netflix instead of watching it. The two were wrapped in an abundance of blankets, the feeling of love and cotton warming them both. Daisy rubbed Y/N’s back and kissed her temple, beginnings to scratch her scalp lightly.
“Go to sleep.” Immediately, Y/N shook her head, trying her hardest to stay conscious. It was a tough battle with these blankets around her body and her girlfriend with her.
“I’ve missed you so much.” Mumbled words were spoken into Daisy’s neck. Y/N clung onto her girlfriend for dear life. “The way Coulson was explaining it, I didn’t know if you would ever come back to me. I just wanna stay like this.” There was a sniffled and Daisy lifted Y/N’s head up.
“I will always come back to you,” Daisy reassured. “There will never be a time where I won’t. I’m promising you that. You won’t get rid of me that easily.” Y/N smiled a teary, lazy smile before laying back down and placing a kiss to Daisy’s next.
They sat in silence for a few minutes, Daisy chuckling at the funny parts that came up, and Y/N slipping in and out of consciousness. She loved moments like this. Moments where she wasn’t Agents Y/L/N and Daisy wasn’t Agent Johnson: they were just Y/N and Daisy, two girls that loved each other with their entire hearts.
“Babe?” Spoke Y/N after more silence. Daisy hummed absentmindedly, her hand running along Y/N’s bare back. “I think I’m developing powers.”
At that Daisy snapped her head towards Y/N. “What? What’s been happening?”
Y/N just shrugged, wrapping her arms more tightly around her girlfriend. “I can fit the entire world in my hands.”
Daisy stared blankly at Y/N before laughing. “Very funny, that’s impossible. That’s a good one, baby.”
Y/N huffed softly. “I’m serious.”
“Sure you are.”
“Would you like to see a demonstration?” Y/N sat up, wincing at the cold breeze she felt when the covers fall off her body. “Watch.”
Y/N took a deep breath before placing her hands on Daisy’s cheeks. Her eyes closed as Daisy leaned into her.
“See? I’m doing it now, the world is in my hands.”
It took a while to register and process Y/N’s words, but once she did, her cheeks heated her and turned bright red. She swatted softly at her girlfriend.
“Get off me, doofus. I have a reputation.” She said. A small beep was heard in the room.
“Not anymore, you don’t.” Both girls whipped their heads around to see Phil Coulson, smugly smiling with a phone pointed at the two of them.
“Coulson! What the hell?” Daisy feigned anger, shifting her position so that you were shielding her from the phone.
“I’ve done nothing wrong, I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Coulson responded.
“Delete that right now.”
“No thanks, I think I’ll keep this for a rainy day.” Phil ran off when he saw Daisy running towards him. You laughed, falling back on the bed and getting under the blankets. Screams and shouts were heard from down the hall. Bringing the covers back up to your chin, you smiled fondly.
You definitely could get used to this.

We never made it to happy ever after
One Shot Fluff, Angst
Pairing: Daisy Johnson x female Reader
I recommend not reading this if you're not familiar with agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
Daisy is Daisy in season 3, before Hive.
Summary: Daisy is your best friend, but what if when she’s not there anymore and you never get to tell her how you really feel?
Warnings: brief mention of blood (nothing gross), dealing with loss, unhealthy habits (not eating, not sleeping), nightmares, let me know if I need to add more
Word count: 3.650 K
A/n: I started this in August and have been working on this for quite a while, so I’m very pleased to say it’s finally done! I’m super proud of how this turned out! Please let me know what you think!
I can’t quite describe how much I love Daisy, she’s just so sweet and amazing. I might even say I prefer Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. over some of the MCU movies. If you haven’t seen the show yet, please go watch it! It is just… so amazing!
Taglist: @wandamaximoffbae (Let me know if you want to be added!)

Hello my love,
She entered your room quietly, hugging herself in an oversized black hoodie that just covered her thighs. You could read on her face she was having trouble sleeping. You hadn’t slept either, merely dozing off now and then. Your head was too full to be able to sleep. You gestured her to come over, while you pushed yourself up from the bed and sat up straight. She walked over to you and sat down on the edge of your bed, one leg on it, the other dangling above the floor. During the day she would wear healed black boots, but without them, your bestie was actually an adorably short person. She sat in silence, looking down at her own hands, which she was fiddling with. You scooted over to her, still under the warm sheets. You were wearing a light pink sweater on top of your lace white panties. You laid your hand on her back and drew small patterns, encouraging her to open up about whatever was bothering her. Unfortunately, you had seen her like this before. She was probably hurting and keeping her feelings in, maybe she was even beating herself up over something she doesn’t have any control over. Your touch was all she needed to let the tears out. Her fingers grabbed the black fabric of her hoodie, she the hem pulled over her hands, her fingers digging into the material. A tear ran down her cheek, she used her sleeve to wipe it away quickly. The movement was harsh. You couldn’t stand seeing her hurting herself, so as more tears escaped her eyes, you prevented her from wiping them away by covering her hands with yours. You moved one of your hands to her cheekbone, guiding her eyes to meet yours. Tears were now wetting her face without control. You gently wiped the tears away with your thumb, giving her a sad smile. On one hand you hated seeing her like this, you didn’t want her to be down. On the other hand, though, you were honored by her vulnerability around you. You were honored she felt comfortable enough to be herself around you.
“What is it?” You asked her with a soft voice.
A whisper left her lips, her bottom lip trembling.
“Trip.”
You blinked, but kept your eyes shut a second longer than usual at the mention of his name.
“Another nightmare?”
“Yeah.”
More tears started to flow as you pulled her in, her head on your chest. She gave into the action, crying freely, letting you wrap her in your arms. When the tears had run dry you got her a warm tea. She now sat under the sheets, against the headboard of your bed. The warm mug covered by her hands as you asked if she’d like to watch a movie. She nodded her head in a response. Halfway through the movie she fell asleep, her head on your shoulder. You turned off the tv and the lights, before slipping underneath the sheets behind her. You heard her sleepy voice.
“Y/n?”
“Yes?”
“Can you hold me?”
You moved to lay closer to her, your front against her back, your legs touching. Her silk skin moving over yours as she got comfortable. You wrapped your arm around her waist. She covered your hand with hers. Her hair tickled your face. Gently, you wiped her hair out of her neck. Her black hair, that smelled like blueberry’s. revealing the skin of her neck. You placed a soft kiss in the crook of her neck, before falling asleep.
Do you know how much you mean to me?
You looked down at your crossed legs on her sheets, your fingers playing with the soft fabric. Daisy sat behind you, untangling your hair as she played with it, braiding small strands of your white locks. Your hair had always been something that made you stand out from others. You were born with white hair. There was absolutely no pigment in your hair, no brown or grey strand that was yet to be discovered. It was just your hair, your skin and eyes were all ‘normal’, it was just your hair. You had been ashamed of it most of your life, people made fun of it when you were younger. You had felt like a freak. As you became older, people simply thought you had died your hair. You had tried to die your hair, though, but there was no paint that adhered, so you started wearing a cap most of the time. When you met Daisy for the first time, one of the first things she said to you, was how she loved your hair. You had waved away the compliment. It was hard for her to understand how you could be so insecure about something so gorgeous. She absolutely loved your hair and as she constantly reminded you.
Sometimes, she would send you cute messages like ‘Gm babes, looking fly today.’ ‘Hey sexy, cute hair.’ She’d send them in the morning, so you would wake up to them. Your confidence had slowly returned and you had become proud of your signature feature. After all, if she liked your hair, what else mattered?
While braiding your hair, Daisy placed a sweet kiss on your shoulder, making your cheeks turn pink. You closed your eyes at the lovely situation you were in, hoping it would last forever. Wishing you could stay in the moment forever.
You’re my joy.
“You did not just say that!”
You stumped your bestie with your elbow. She had made a comment that made you blush. And that wasn’t even so new, it was just that she did it in front of everyone. There was this guy you had to gather intel on for a mission and as the team was brainstorming Daisy had bluntly suggested you should date him. How you could easily ‘seduce’ him with your looks and extract information from him.
Your emotions were divided between angry and ashamed. At some point the team had actually gone along with Daisy’s idea, meaning right now, you were seated in a red cocktail dress across some suspect. You sipped on your drink as he went on about some boring topic you had absolutely no interest in.
“You know, I could get used to this view.” You almost chocked on your drink as your cheeks turned a bright red color. It was Daisy that was flirting with you through the comms. You apologized to the man sitting on the other side of the table and told him to continue as you tried to ignore Daisy’s chuckling in your ear. You tried your best to hide that a part of you was flattered.
When the mission had come to an end and you were back at the base, you first made your way to Daisy’s room, after all you had to take revenge. Still in your going out clothes, you barged into Daisy’s room.
“Ya know I owe you one. Pay back is here.”
You jumped on the bed next to her, burying her under pillows as you tickled her. After a few minutes of you on top of her, she managed to roll over. She was now on top of you. What started as a jokingly, flirty comment soon turned into a pillow fight.
You were both lying on your backs on her bed, out of breath from the giggles.
You’re my desire.
The flirting and cuddles that you shared with Daisy never had any other meaning than a friendship. However, over the years that began to change. You found yourself thinking about Daisy whenever she wasn’t near you. You found yourself wanting to cuddle with her. You wanted to hold her or be hold by her. The two of you had been friends for a few years now and you had recently realized that your love for her was bigger than a friendship. There was more flirting and you realized, you started to make up as many excuses as possible to have your limbs entangled with hers.
You are my biggest weakness.
You woke up next to Daisy’s sleeping body. She was laying on her tummy, one leg straight, one bended. Her head laid sideways on the pillow, facing you, her arms under the pillow. Her black hair was a stark contrast to the pillow. You carefully sat up, taking a moment to take in her peaceful sleeping face, her lips, curved in a contented smile. As you looked at her, butterflies erupted in your stomach. With utmost tenderness you brushed a strand of hair out of her face, lingering your fingers over her hair. A single tear of joy and content escaped fell from your eye. The drop of salt water contained all your feelings. Her breathtaking beauty, her soft inside, how she would cuddle with you. But then there was the side of you that wasn’t sure if she felt the same or that you were just a good friend to her, a sister. And you didn’t know how to deal with that part of you.
You got up from the bed and to go and get some coffee and breakfast. You pulled a cropped grey sweater over your pajama top and made your way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast after the long movie night. You bumped into May as you arrived at the counter.
“Good morning, May.”
“Hello, Y/n. Have you seen Daisy? I wanted to speak to her, but she wasn’t in her room. Is she with you?”
“Oh yeah, she’s still asleep.”
She nodded. A small grin on her lips as she poured herself some milk.
“What?”
“Oh, nothing.”
I hope you know I love you.
The blaring of the alarm pulled you out of your sleep. You reached for the nightlight on your bedside table. You flipped the switch, but nothing happened. You grabbed the flashlight from the drawer and used it to find some black leggings and a hooded vest, which you put on in a hurry. The first thing you could think of was finding Daisy. You had to know if she was okay You sprinted to your door and nearly pulled it out of its hinges. Only to find Daisy standing behind it. The heaviness fell of your chest and you were able to breathe freely again.
“Y.. Y/n. You, you’re okay?!” She exclaimed with shaky breaths, her bottom lip trembling. She was fumbling with her hands in an attempt to hide the shaking. You reached out to hold her hands, holding them firmly.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m here, I’m okay.”
Tears now started to form in your eyes as well. You pulled her into a hug. Daisy practically clung to you, her face against your shoulder. Her tears forming a wet spot on your vest.
You sat yourself and Daisy down on the bed.
“Okay, can you tell me what happened?”
“I woke up by the alarm. Then I tried to turn on the lights, but nothing happened. My phone was dead, so I searched for someone, but there was no one there. And my flashlight was dead, and then I couldn’t find your room and I just freaked out, because I couldn’t find you and I, and I just, I- I.”
“Shh, shh. Calm down.”
“I can’t! Don’t you get it?! I couldn’t find you and I stopped functioning, because… because I love you!”
You looked at her dumbfound.
“Wait, you. You what?” “I’m sorry, I just needed you to know, you don’t like me, but I- I like you.”
You couldn’t help yourself but smile at her. “Wh-, why are you smiling, I’m serious!”
“Well… you’re wrong. I do like you. I love you Daisy. So, if I may, I would like to kiss you.”
It was her time to be speechless, so you took your advantage of the moment and placed your hand in her neck, pulling her in. The second your lips met, everything around you went quiet. The ringing of the alarm disappeared into the background and all there was left were her lips. They were softer than in your dreams. She tasted like cherry. You moved one hand you her waist and pulled her body closer against yours. Her hand in your neck, performing the same action. The two of you moved further onto the bed and she moved to sit in your lap, her legs wrapped around your waist.
You could almost feel her hot skin through your vest. Daisy’s lips parted slightly and you took your chance to deepen the kiss. Feeling your tongues touch, turned your entire body into electricity. Never had you felt this warm, everything was on fire. You felt things you had never felt before and you were pretty sure she felt the same, because you could feel her powers vibrating against your skin.
Daisy moved her hand that was on your side lower until she reached the hem of your vest. Her fingers grazed the bare skin on your side, sending shivers up your spine. You looked up and saw the red flashing light, reminding you of what had been going on before you ended up where you were now.
You gave her another kiss, ignoring the alarm before you slowly distanced yourself from Daisy and broke the kiss, your forehead against hers.
“You know, I really want to do… this, but I don’t think right now is the time. Since… you know… the blaring alarm and everything.” She let out a chuckle and you both got up, you grabbed your flashlight and put your gun in the waistband of your pants. With Daisy on your left hand and the flashlight in your right, you walked down the halls. Daisy’s free hand was stuck out forward, ready to quake if needed so. You kept on walking, constantly checking your surroundings for anything suspicious. As you approached a bend, you notice a memorial stone. You couldn’t recall having seen it before, nor knowing for who it was. Nearing the marble, you try and read the name engraved. No, that can’t be. You squint your eyes, somehow expecting the letters that are written in stone to change. As your reach the memorial, your stop walking. Standing right in front of the marble plate, you can’t possibly deny the name written anymore. This is not an hallucination. It’s real. If, however, this is true… Then whose hand are you holding?
I hope you know I loved you.
You slowly turn around, tears and disbelief on your face to meet her unknowing eyes. When suddenly, her expression changes. Pain in her eyes. You look down at her side and then back up. Her eyes roll in the back of her head as she falls to the ground. You manage to catch her and place her in your lap. You take off your vest and put pressure to the shot wound in her side. Panicked, you look around, but not to rest your eyes on the familiar brick walls of the SSR underground. What you see only unsettles you more. Your surroundings have changed to chunks of concrete on a broken road, cars on fire, screaming people in the distance. The dream of Daisy next to you, her hand in yours fades as a new reality punches you in the face, demanding you attention. You scream for help. Your lungs on fire as you push out any air left in your lungs into a soundless cry. A cry for help, a cry of fear. The fear of losing her. She cups your cheek. A weak touch. You look down at the feeble girl in your arms with a tear-stained face. She wipes away yours tears with her thumb.
“Don’t leave me. You can’t leave me. You can’t.” You whisper with a broken voice.
“It’s okay.”
“How could you say that?”
“Y/n it’s okay. I love you...” She whispers. She relaxes in your arms, her head falling against your chest, her hand that was just on your cheek, now draped over her stomach. You lay her down on the ground, hands folded over her chest as you start CPR. 30 chest compressions, 2 breaths, 30 chest compressions, 2 breaths… “Damn you, you should have listened to me. I explicitly told you not… to leave me.” You slam your fist on the concrete next to you.
“Please… I can’t live without you.”
“I love you.”
Tears roll down your face without restraint as you had finally spoken the words out loud. But it doesn’t matter, it is too late. She is gone. You pick up her upper body and hold her in your arms. Swearing to yourself you will never let her go. You hold her as tight as possible, your forehead against hers, rocking the both of you back and forth.
You gently close her open eyes that stared into the void. You clean the blood around her mouth with your sleeve as best as you can. When most of the red is gone, you stare at her lips and give her a soft kiss, you didn’t get to tell her you loved her, but maybe she’d see you from heaven and feel your lips touching. And maybe somewhere in you, there is a dim hope that she’d wake up. Just like at the end of every fairytale.
You close your eyes and rest your forehead against hers. When you open them again, Daisy has disappeared and your surroundings have changed once again. This time, however, you get the feeling it’s not another dream or a flashback.
You and I. We were a fairytale.
You’re back in reality and you find yourself against one of the brick walls in a hall of the SSR underground base. You must have sleepwalked, because you clearly remember crying yourself to sleep in your bed, just like every other night for the past few months since Daisy’s passing. You were having a very hard time accepting her death. Well, you couldn’t say you were quite in the accepting stage yet. You were still in denial. In denial of the fact that she was actually gone. The hardest thing about her passing however, was that you didn’t get to tell her what she meant to you. You kept having these dreams in which you did get to tell her how you felt. She would reciprocate your feelings, but it always ended with her gone and it was getting too much for you to handle. You looked up to the memorial stone on the wall across from you.
Daisy Johnson: hero – daughter – sister, it said.
The team had agreed on putting daughter and sister on it, because in the years you had spent together as a team, you had become a close family.
More tears started to flow, you weren’t sure how, because by now you’d think you’d be long out of tears. You pulled up your knees to your chest, wrapped your arms around them and let your head rest on them. You cried freely, you couldn’t control it anymore and you didn’t want to. The sadness was like a blanket over you and for once you allowed yourself to give into it. You could feel it in every bone in your body until you didn’t feel anything anymore.
May rests her eyes on you from around the corner. She has seen you deteriorate the last few months and it hurt her. She hasn’t seen you eat for weeks and she highly doubted if you were getting any sleep. Sitting there, curled up in a ball, you were barely more than a pile of skin and bones.
She could tell it was you, by your signature white hair, put up in a low messy bun like usual. Your way to skinny body was enveloped in of Daisy’s black hoodies.
She had tried to give you some space, hoping you just needed some time for yourself. But the blue circles under your eyes didn’t seem to disappear. She had seen your struggles and it was like someone twisted a knife in her gut every time she looked at your sober appearance. Like Daisy, you were a daughter to her. She wanted to be there for you and that meant she’d have to open up her doors. Giving her own hurt a place.
May slowly approached you. She let herself slide down the wall next to you, leaving some space between the two of you.
“You really loved her, didn’t you?”
You looked up to May with a tearstained face and puffed eyes. Seeing you vulnerable like this, not even trying to hide your pain was a rare occurrence.
“Yes. I do.” You say, highly conscious you are speaking in present time.
“She was everything to me.” You whisper.
“She was my best friend.”
“That’s not true.” The words slipped out before May noticed.
“What? What does hell that mean?”
“She wasn’t just your best friend. She was more than that.”
You cleared your throat, taking a moment to answer. She’s right
“What do you mean?”
“You know what I mean. You weren’t just best friends, there was more.” She looked you in the eyes. You looked right back at her and knew she knew. She had known all along. It gave you a feeling of comfort that maybe, just maybe there was someone who might understand how you’re feeling.
“I loved her so much and I never go to tell her.” You said crying, with a shaky voice. But it was out. You said it. And you were glad you did.
“Y/n?” “Yes?”
“She knows.”
May took you in her arms and you found aid in them as both of you cried for what could have been. What should have been. The happy ever after you and Daisy deserved.
But we never made it to happy ever after.

“Hi, babe!” Y/N squeals as she walks into the communal area, finally back at the base with her teammates after a long mission. “I missed you so much, you don’t even understand.” She walks straight to Daisy, ignoring everyone else in the room.
“You’re home!” Daisy jumps up from the couch, abandoning the shooter game she was playing with Mack.
The two laugh as they pull each other into a big embrace. They’re acting as if no one else is in the room, which makes the others either roll their eyes playfully or share a knowing smirk amongst one another.
“How was the mission?” Daisy holds one of her hands on Y/N’s waist, not wanting to let go of her now that she is finally near.
Y/N shrugs with a small smile. “It was fine.” She is still wearing her suit, but she really wanted to see the others—Daisy to be more specific—before cleaning herself up. “May and I kicked their asses.” She punches the air while doing sound effects.
Jemma walks over to the duo, interrupting their giggling, “do the rest of get a hug or is it just Daisy?” She asks with a smile.
“Shut up.” Y/N pulls Jemma into a tight hug. “I missed all of you.”
“Equally?” Bobbi smirks, her brow raised, as she looks at the from the kitchen side of the room.
“Now, now,” she tilts her head, looking back at Bobbi with a grin, “lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.” Y/N turns to Daisy and kisses her cheek. “I’m going to get cleaned up. I love you!”
“I love you.” Daisy says after her while staring at her back as she walks away from the common room. She has a wide smile on her face even after she is gone.
Sitting back to the couch and picking up the console, she starts playing the game with Mack again. Jemma and Bobbi are in the kitchen area making dinner for the whole team.
“So,” Mack starts, keeping his eyes on the game, “when are you two going public?”
“Huh?” Daisy’s attention gets completely taken off the screen, which causes her character to die. Mack lets out a groan, but she pays no mind to it. “What do you mean?”
He looks at her with his brows raised. He is trying to see if Daisy is being serious. “With your relationship?”
“We’re just friends.”
Mack squints his eyes. “You expect me to believe that?”
“We are! I don’t know where you got the idea of us being together.” She mumbles, but there is an uncertainty to her voice. Is there something else between them? Seeing the conflict on her face, Mack decides to drop the subject and continue the game in silence.
Daisy paces around her room, brows scrunched up and lips raw from the force she is biting them. Her mind is all over the place. She doesn’t know what to think about the situation between her and Y/N. They’ve always been close, they hit it off instantly when they met, and ever since then, they’ve been practically inseparable.
She thinks over every interaction they’ve had during the years. She is trying to search how they could have made their relationship seem romantic without meaning to. Sure, they’re always attached by the hip, and have said they’d never be able to live without the other, going as far as promising they’ll have free reign over each other’s houses if they ever move out of the SHIELD base. But every best friend does these kind of things. It’s not abnormal for them to seek out physical contact with each other, or spend more time huddled together in one bed rather than sleeping in their own ones. Friends call each other cute pet names and say I love you multiple times a day.
Pausing, Daisy closes her eyes. She tries, she really tries to assure herself they’re just friends. That there are things all friends do.
But she doesn’t do these things with anyone else than Y/N. She doesn’t call Bobbi babe, or hold Jemma’s hand whenever they go outside, or sit impossibly close to Mack when they play games.
Y/N isn’t just a friend to her.
She really loves her.
Daisy goes out to the hallway, starting her quest of finding Y/N, so she can talk to her immediately. She peeks into few different rooms, all of them empty. She tries to rack her brain if Y/N mentioned having another mission, but she shouldn’t, not so soon after the last one.
Soon enough, she bumps into Jemma. “Do you know where Y/N is?”
Her eyes turns wide as she takes in the urgency in Daisy’s voice. “Last time I saw her she was going to the locker room, pretty sure she is about to go grocery shopping with Bobbi. Is everything okay?”
The question doesn’t get heard by Daisy, as she is already half across the hallway, practically running towards the locker room.
She barges into the room, scaring Y/N and making her drop the shirt she was about to put on. “Sorry!” Daisy turns around immediately when she notices the amount of bare skin visible, her cheeks flushing red, as if she has never seen Y/N naked before.
“Jesus, Dais.” Y/N lets out a breathe, calming down now that there is no immeasurable threat to fight. She picks up her shirt and pulls it on. “What’s going on?” Giggling quietly, she picks up her bag, slightly put off by Daisy’s behavior.
“Nothing.” She presses her eyes shut, cursing at herself for losing all of her composure in front of Y/N. “Just wanted to say hi, and…add stuff to the grocery list before you leave.”
“Okay.” Y/N stares at Daisy’s back, she still hasn’t turned back around. “What did you want to add?” Her voice is soft and her eyes study her friend as they start walking out of the room.
“Candy?”
The word comes out more of a question rather than a statement, which makes Y/N give Daisy a weirded out look. She hums, slowly nodding. “Pretty sure candy is already on the list.”
“Right, Hunter.” Daisy clears her throat. Of course, candy is already on the grocery list, it’s the first thing Hunter writes on it every time the empty shopping list appears on the fridge door.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes, sorry, I think I’m just tired.” She lets out a forced laugh.
Y/N can see right through her, they both know this, but fortunately for Daisy, she decides to let it go. “Okay. Well, I have to go or Bobbi will leave with out me.” She gives her a playful roll of her eyes and a grin.
“I love you.” Daisy says as she stops walking.
“I love you too!” Y/N has a wide smile on her face while she continues making her way towards the door.
However, Daisy grabs her hand, not letting her leave. “No I-“ she hesitates, not sure if this is a good moment for a confession or if she really has the bravery to do it, “I love you.”
“Oh.” She stands there, furrowing her brows while she looks at Daisy, who is giving her a very peculiar look. Y/N’s mind works overtime as she tries to think why Daisy would have to repeat the sentence they’ve told each other multiple times be- “Oh.” Her eyes widen in recognition.
“Yeah.” Her voice is quiet.
The two stand there, looking at each other, Daisy’s hand still holding onto Y/N’s arm. Neither of them know what to think or to do in a situation like this. Daisy’s hands are shaking, and her heart feels like it’s beating out of her chest from the nervousness she is feeling.
“I think I feel the same.” Y/N whispers. She is looking at the ground, her brows furrowed together and lips slightly parted.
“Really?”
The way Daisy’s voice gets a pitch higher when it’s full of hope and happiness makes Y/N smile. She does love her. She always has, but she has never been brave enough to face those feelings. “Yeah.” She laughs, a sudden surge of giddiness overcoming her body.
Daisy pulls her closer by the arm she is holding, and smashes their lips together. The feeling is better either of them could’ve ever hoped for. Their bodies are melting together, like they’re meant to be, and maybe they are.
They pull away, breathless and smiling, still staying close to each other. “I think I want to do that again.” Daisy states, her eyes fluttering open when Y/N’s forehead meets hers.
“No one is stopping you.”
At that, Daisy pulls her back in, moving her arms to Y/N’s hips, holding onto them tightly so she’d never be able to get away.
“No PDA in the hallways!” Bobbi’s sudden loud voice makes the two jump away from each other. Their wide eyes meet Bobbi’s slightly disgusted ones, she is trying to shield her eyes with her hand. “Is it over?” When she hears quiet and embarrassed mumbles, Bobbi crosses her arms over her chest. “I am very happy you two finally decided to stop pining after each other, but we were supposed to leave fifteen minutes ago, Y/N.”
“Sorry.” She tilts her head to the side with a small smile. “I got, sidetracked.”
“I saw it.”
“I’ll see you later?” Y/N looks at Daisy.
“Yeah, my room.” She whispers so Bobbi won’t hear.
Y/N nods, kisses her cheek, and jogs over to Bobbi, finally ready to go grocery shopping. “I love you!”
“I love you too!”

The Crisis Begins (Memories - Pt. 2)
Part 1
Daisy Johnson / Skye Masterlist

Tumblr media
One of (Y/n)’s first memories was her sister’s, Natasha, sixth birthday.
Melina sets (Y/n) on the floor next to Yelena, who was about two - (Y/n), three.
(Y/n) gets to her feet, running and stumbling over to Natasha, who was sitting cross-legged on the floor with a few wrapped gifts sitting in front of her.
“Happy birfday,” (Y/n) chirps, giving her sister a big hug.
Natasha smiles down at (Y/n), giving her a hug in return.
Natasha’s birthdays had been few and far between.
The next one (Y/n) had known about had been just before they’d escaped the Red Room.
Every Red Room assassin had a partner, and (Y/n) and Natasha had been paired together all throughout their training, and Natasha wondered if Melina had been the influence on the pairing.
(Y/n) hadn’t been able to find a birthday cake, or cupcakes, or cookies, but she had found a loaf of fresh bread.
(Y/n) sneaks into their shared room, and she pulls the loaf of bread out of the backpack she’s wearing.
The fourteen year old (Y/n) hands her sister the bread. “Happy birthday,” she murmurs, though she knows that Natasha would have to be going through her graduation ceremony.
Natasha meets (Y/n)’s gaze before she smiles, getting up from her bed to give her younger sister a hug.
“Thank you,” Natasha murmurs.
(Y/n) glows, happy to have gotten something that made her sister happy.
. . .
You glance around the corner of the wall, catching sight of the HYDRA guard walking up and down the hallway.
Natasha crouches down beside sister, and her jaw clenches harshly.
“It’s the Solider,” Natasha mutters, recognizing the frame and dark brown hair of the Winter Soldier. There had been a situation between the Soldier and (Y/n) about a year ago, and it hadn’t exactly raised Natasha’s respect for the man, even if he was being controlled.
(Y/n) slips down the hallway, her feet silent on the ground, Natasha following closely behind.
. . .
(Y/n) drops to the floor as an arrow implants itself into the wall above her head. Natasha catches the look of terror on (Y/n)’s face, and she pulls (Y/n) to her.
Natasha’s emerald gaze burns with anger, and she gets to her feet, crouching below the wall. “Stay here,” the redhead tells (Y/n).
(Y/n) swallows thickly, but she shifts onto her feet. “I’m not letting you go alone,” (Y/n) replies, frowning slightly.
“You’re hurt,” Natasha replies, pushing (Y/n) back to the ground.
(Y/n) glances down at her left leg, bloody and bruised yellow and purple. The injury would’ve grossed out anyone else, but (Y/n) and Natahsa were trained assassins - they weren’t allowed to be bothered by injuries and, as Dreykov had called them, violations, no matter how awful.
“Now, stay,” Natasha tells (Y/n), and finally, (Y/n) nods.
Natasha inches forward, catching sight of the man - a bow in his hand, and a quiver strapped to his back.
An archer.
“Natalia Alianovna Romanova,” the man says and Natasha pauses, standing still and studying the archer some more. He looked to be a few years older than her, and he looked more hardened than Natasha, which surprised her a little. The archer raises her bow, but what happens next shocks both him and Natasha.
(Y/n) gets to her feet, swaying slightly, but she hobbles between her sister and the archer.
The archer lowers his bow slightly. “You’re just a kid?” the archer asks in his low voice.
“My sister and I escaped,” (Y/n) replies, shifting her weight to her good leg. “W-we’re done.”
. . .
Lying with Daisy, (Y/n) had never felt more at home.
(Y/n)’s stomach rumbles, and she sighs, disentangling herself from Daisy and trudging down the hall towards the kitchen.
(Y/n) grabs an apple and a granola bar, sitting down on her favorite couch and resting her hand on her slightly rounded stomach. (Y/n) frowns slightly at a picture of her, Natasha, and Yelena together on the TV stand- she wished that it could be like that again.
(Y/n) takes a bite of her granola bar, and her sour mood leaves her, humming happily at the taste of the chocolate and peanut butter bar.
Natasha Melina Romanoff yawns as she pads into the living room. Studying her daughter, (Y/n) realizes how much her daughter looked like her aunt - her red hair starting to grow, leaving red roots and blue ends.
“Hi, baby,” (Y/n) greets her daughter, and Natasha smiles sleepily, stumbling over to the couch and lying down and resting her head in her mother’s lap.
“Mornin’,” Natasha murmurs, her eyes fluttering shut as (Y/n) runs her fingers through her hair.
“Still tired?” (Y/n) asks her daughter, who yawns in reply.
. . .
After the transition to SHIELD from the Red Room and HYDRA, (Y/n) had decided to move to Starling City for a fresh start - at about 19.
‘The island they found us on is called Lian Yu,’ (Y/n) reflects on the island. ‘It’s Mandarin for purgatory. We’d been stranded there for five years - me and Oliver Queen. I’d dreamed of my rescue every cold, bleak, black night since then. After five years, I’d only had two thoughts, to survive and escape from that hell.
Oliver had offered her and her girlfriend, Sara, on his yacht as a sort of vacation.
Sara cuddles up to (Y/n), her head resting on her chest.
(Y/n) smiles, her nose resting against Sara’s temple.
Rain batters the side of the yacht, and Sara’s arms tighten around (Y/n)’s waist.
“It’s okay,” (Y/n) murmurs. “I’ve got you.”
Sara pulls away for a moment, studying (Y/n)’s face - the scar on her bottom lip, the scar above her left eye that cut her eyebrow, the long scar along the side of her face, and the scar along the bridge of her nose. She lifts a hand, running a finger down the scars, and (Y/n) shifts slightly.
“Is this okay?” Sara asks, though she’d done the same thing a few times before.
“I’m not ashamed,” (Y/n) replies, and Sara notes that it’s not exactly an answer to the question so she stops, snuggling closer to (Y/n). “Sara,” (Y/n) says after a moment.
“Yes?”
“I think I -” (Y/n) pauses. She wonders for a moment of the words she was about to use were as childish as the Red Room had taught her.
Suddenly, the boat shifts, and the mattress the two were laying on flips over, Sara landing on top of (Y/n), who was squished flat between the floor and her girlfriend (and the mattress).
(Y/n) strains, but shoves the mattress aside, and Sara rolls over to one side about three feet away from (Y/n), no longer pinned between her girlfriend and the mattress.
The window beside the two shatters from the force of the raging storm outside.
As if in slow motion, Sara reaches out a hand for (Y/n), her eyes wide with terror. (Y/n) also reaches out a hand.
Fingers brush.
And Sara is ripped through the broken window.
A scream tears through (Y/n)’s chest, and the door to the cabin bursts open.
Oliver stares between the shattered window - which was rapidly filling the room with water - and the heartbroken woman on the floor.
“We’ve got to go,” Oliver yells at his friend. He pulls (Y/n) up from the floor of the cabin - the water at about hip level now - and he drags her outside and to a lifeboat.
“Hey,” Daisy’s hand rests lightly on (Y/n)’s shoulder from behind the couch.
“What?” (Y/n) starts slightly, jostling Natasha’s head, which was still resting in her lap.
Natasha’s eyes flutter open, and her stomach rumbles. She looks up at her mother, and goes to say something, but stops at the haunted look in (Y/n)’s eyes.
“I’m gonna go get something to eat,” Natasha murmurs, getting up and giving (Y/n) a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Daisy circles around the couch, sitting down beside her wife. “Honey, are you okay?”
“Just lost in memories,” (Y/n) replies, leaning into Daisy’s shoulder.
“Lian Yu?” Daisy wonders aloud, and (Y/n) nods.
“Stupid fucking island,” (Y/n) mutters.
“Have you talked to Sara or Oliver recently?” Daisy asks - she knew about (Y/n) and Sara’s previous relationship, but it had been almost seventeen years since that relationship had ended.
(Y/n) shakes her head in reply, resting her hands on her four month pregnant belly.
“We should name the baby after them,” Daisy says thoughtfully, and (Y/n) looks over at her wife. “Oliver Phillip Johnson if it’s a boy or Sara Thea Johnson if it’s a girl.”
“You’ve clearly been thinking about this,” (Y/n) says.
Daisy nods, “It’s a big decision.”
(Y/n) considers the names. “I do like that,” she murmurs; Daisy grins in reply.
“I'm glad!” she chirps.
. . .
Daisy leaves (Y/n) alone to make the girls a snack and she starts when she hears a knock on the door. Daisy heads towards the door, unknowingly dusting her hands off on her pants.
Daisy opens the door, and blinks in surprise at the crowd of people framed in the door - a woman, maybe five foot nine, with blue eyes and blond hair; a man with a buzz cut blond hair and blue eyes; and another blonde haired, blue eyed woman; and a shorter woman with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
“Dais?” (Y/n) makes her way sleepily towards the door, wriggling into a sweatshirt. (Y/n) falters a few feet from the door, her eyes wide with shock. “Ollie? Sara? Felicity? Thea?” (Y/n) stares at her friends for a moment.
“Why don’t y’all come in?” Daisy asks, opening the door further to allow the four figures to step inside.
Felicity excitedly embraces (Y/n), who smiles brightly, returning her friend’s hug.
“How are you?” Felicity asks, casting her gaze across the living room.
“I’m really good,” (Y/n) replies; and then she flushes embarrassedly at the messy state of the living room. “Sorry about the mess -”
Skye, (Y/n) and Daisy’s oldest daughter - 11, emerges from her bedroom, blinking in surprise at the four extra people in the house.
“This is Skye,” (Y/n) introduces her daughter to Team Arrow. “And this is Felicity, Thea, Oliver, and Sara.”
Skye waves shyly, and Sara smiles at the girl.
. . .
Daisy offers to make dinner, leaving (Y/n) and her friends to talk.
“What’s up?” (Y/n) asks, settling down on the couch, her late sister’s cat Liho, resting in her lap.
“What?” Thea questions.
“I haven’t seen any of you in years,” (Y/n) replies, stroking the cat’s fur. “There must be something going on if all four of you are here now.”
Oliver and Sara exchange a glance.
“The world or rather -”
Another knock on the door makes Oliver stop talking; (Y/n) sighs, getting up from the couch.
(Y/n) opens the door, and a figure falls into (Y/n)’s arms, sobbing heavily.
The others watch as (Y/n) soothes the blonde haired woman, a dark haired girl standing in the doorway of the house.
“What’s wrong?” (Y/n) asks her sister’s girlfriend.
Kate goes to reply but Yelena interrupts her. “I miss Nat,” the blonde wails.
“What happened to Natasha?” Sara asks, and the other members of Team Arrow murmur questioningly.
Yelena pulls away, looking at the other people in the room, and (Y/n) brushes away the tears sliding down her sister’s face. “I’m sorry,” Yelena mutters. “I didn’t realize you had company.”
“You never have to apologize,” (Y/n) tells her sister gently. “And I miss her too.” (Y/n) turns back to her friends. “Natasha died. A little over a year ago.”
The looks of shock on the faces of Team Arrow tell (Y/n) enough - people knew about the deaths of Tony and Steve, but the world would never seem to care about her late sister and the influence she’d had on the lives of so many people.
(Y/n) turns to Kate, who is leaning against the closed door, “Why don’t you take Yel up to the guest room? I’ll come to check on you later, okay?”
Kate’s lip quivers, and she nods, blinking back her tears, sad that her girlfriend was so torn up.
Before Kate and Yelena can leave, (Y/n) embraces the dark haired girl and presses a sisterly kiss to her forehead.
Daisy emerges from the hallway the girls’ rooms were down, and, seeing Team Arrow watching (Y/n) worriedly, the brunette crosses the room in a few strides.
“Kate and Yelena are heading up to the guest room,” (Y/n) murmurs. “She misses Nat.” Daisy swallows thickly, but before Daisy can reply, (Y/n) straightens herself. “It’s fine,” she says, in a sort of voice telling Daisy that nothing was fine.
(Y/n) and Daisy stand still for moment, conversing in quiet tones that the Team Arrow members couldn’t hear, and then, the two walk back over to the living space.
(Y/n) and Daisy take up positions on a couch across from the one Sara and Felicity were sharing.
“So, what’s going on?” (Y/n) asks.
“He’s called the Anti-Monitor,” Oliver begins and just the name has goosebumps rise on (Y/n)’s arms. “And he’s going to try and destroy all the worlds.”
“All of the worlds,” Daisy leans forward slightly. “The way you’re phrasing that suggests that the multiverse theory is correct.”
There is another knock on the front door and Daisy gets to her feet, walking over to answer it.
“Uh, hi,” Daisy greets the newcomers - a dark haired man with hazel eyes, a woman with wavy long brown hair and brown eyes, and a man with long dark black hair and brown eyes.
“Barry, you’re late again,” Oliver comments from the couch, and the hazel eyed man grins sheepishly. “This is Barry Allen, Cisco Ramon, and Caitlyn Snow. They’re kind of our multiversal experts.”

Tumblr media Tumblr media
May, Phil, and Daisy went to watch you play soccer. It's your first big game and you see them cheering for you. You got the ball and you start to run fast, they cheer for you louder. You kicked the ball hard and you scored, your teammates start to cheer and hug you. Daisy is very happy for you and she is cheering very loud for you. Then you hugged your friends and your team won the game.
“We are so proud of you, Y/n,” May said
She hugged you tight.
“We should go out and celebrate,” Phil said.
“Yeah, that will be cool. I will go change” You smiled.
Phil takes a picture of you and daisy together. You go to the locker room and they wait for you outside. Phil and May take you and Daisy to a restaurant, then you noticed Kate and she smiled at you. They all noticed it and Daisy starts to tease you.
“Go say hi to your girlfriend,” Daisy said.
“She isn't my girlfriend,” You said.
“Don’t you mean not yet?” Phil asked
“This is embarrassing,” You said.
“It’s cute. Next time, we should invite her” May said.
“Let’s order food, I'm starving,” You said.
------
You always wanted to learn to do archery. Kate is teaching you how to hold a bow and arrow. Kate is touching your hands and you start to feel nervous. You haven't mentioned that she is your soulmate, you don't even know how to start the conversation about it. Kate is smiling at you and she is also feeling nervous being around you. You get ready to let go of the arrow but she said something that shocked you...
“Y/n, you are my soulmate! And I want to go to the dance with you!” Kate said very fast.
You did let go of the arrow but missed your target. The arrow hit the car windshield of Clint Barton.
“Who did this!?” Clint yelled.
“I-I have to go,” You said.
You gave her the stuff and start to run away. And Kate is speechless then she left to look for Yelena. You went to look for your cousin and you told her what happened.
“Go look for her and say yes to her, Y/n,” Daisy said.
“I panicked,” You said.
“I heard the rumors but it's funny. So, what are you going to do?” Daisy said.
“I-I... I guess I will take her to the school dance” you said.
“Aww, that's cute” Daisy smiled.
You went to Kate’s house and she opened the door.
“Hi, Y/n” Kate smiled.
“I am sorry, I got you in trouble and ran away, I panicked. I do want to go to the dance with you, Kate” You said.
You and Kate smiled at each other. She kissed your cheek and you can't stop smiling.
“Yeah, I will still go with you” Kate smiled.
“Cool,” You said.
✬ ✯ ✫ ✬
Kate went to pick you up. But May and Phil wanted to take pictures of you and Kate together.
“Girls, one more picture,” Phil said.
“Okay, the last one then we leave” You said.
You and Kate smiled for the picture.
“Y/n, I want you back home at midnight,” May said.
“Sucks, I have a curfew,” You said.
“Don’t push your luck. He will drive you to the dance then I want you to call me so I can pick you up” May said.
“Okay, I will call,” You said.
You head to the car then May wanted to have a small chat with Kate.
“I know your mother has powerful connections, but I don't care. If you hurt, Y/n then I will find you” May said.
“I know you work agent of shields,” Kate said.
“Then you know I'm serious. Have fun, Katherine Elizabeth Bishop” May smiled.
Kate didn't know what to say and headed to the car.
You and Kate walked into the school holding hands. She moved her hand away
“Sorry, my hand got a little sweaty. That sounded wrong, sorry I didn't mean to sound gross” Kate starts to ramble on and on.
“Kate, it's fine I get it. Do you want to dance?” You said.
“Yes, I will dance with you” Kate smiled.
You and Kate start to dance, she has her arms around your shoulder.
“Don’t dance too close” Steve said to you and Kate.
He walks away then you and Kate moved inches apart. You and Kate start to talk about each other interests and dislikes. Later, she introduced you to Yelena and it went well. You and Kate are getting along. She is holding your hand while she sits next to you.
You and Kate went out to eat with Daisy and Yelena. Then Kate walks you to the door, Kate moved closer to you. She going to kiss you but May opened the door.
“Good night, Kate” May smiled.
“This is awkward. But good night” Kate said.
“Night, Kate” You smiled.
You go inside the house.
“Y/n, you can date Kate but there will be rules,” May said.
“Rules?” You asked.
“Yes. If she comes over, the door can't be closed and you can't stay out late hours with Kate. And if she is going to take you out then I need to know where she is taking you,” May said.
“Okay,” You said.
“Did you have a good time?” May asked.
“Yeah, I had fun with her” You smiled.
“Good to know” May smiled.
-------
You and Kate were studying for a test but that changed. You and Kate are making out, she has her hand on your cheek.
“Y/n, we told you to keep the door open,” Phil said.
You and Kate pulled away from each other. She starts to clear her throat
“Y/n, we told you about keeping the door open not closed. You and Kate should study in the kitchen” Phil said.
“Yeah,” You said.
You and Kate did go to the kitchen to study. He did tell May what happened and you start to feel embarrassed. Kate doesn't want to look at May because she would have a death glare.
✬ ✯ ✫ ✬
Kate is teaching you archery and this time you are not aiming the arrow at Clint’s car.
“At least this time you hit the target and not a car,” Kate said.
“It was your fault, not mine,” You said.
“I got detention because of you, Y/n,” Kate said
“I said I was sorry,” You said.
You kissed her on the lips.
“Forgive me?” You asked.
“I don't know it would take more than one kiss for me to forgive you” Kate smirked.
You kiss her again and she starts to smile. Yelena arrived and she makes barf sounds and Kate pulled away.
“I think I lost my lunch,” Yelena said.
“You are so dramatic,” You said.
“That is offense, Y/n,” Yelena said.
Kate just laughed and Yelena just mumbled something in Russian.
-----
Kate takes you out on a date and you are having fun with her. You and Kate are holding hands and walking to the restaurant.
“Oh my God, there is a dog in the middle of the street,” Kate said.
Kate starts to run towards the middle of the street.
“We just could have called help,” You yelled.
Kate grabbed the dog and she is breathing hard.
“Are you okay?” You asked.
“I’m fine. I'm going to keep him,” Kate smiled.
“I don't have a response for that but cool, I guess,” You said unsure.
Kate is just smiling. You go to Kate’s house and you helped her bathe the dog, it was hard because the dog would try to run away. Much later, you help Kate come up with a name for the dog.
