Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

Batfam: ghosts aren’t real.
Danny, having been trying to explain that he’s the dead boy to them or 3 hours: *pulls sleeve up and sticks out arm*
Danny: Find. A. Pulse.
Batfam: Danny, how is this—oh my god where is your pulse?

Pettigrew is stronger than me cause if my animagus was a fucking rat while my friends were a stag, dog and wolf(kinda) respectively I would snap too especially if they called me wormtail

Brennan really took Ally accidentally naming a goddess after a Greek mythology figure and ran with it this season. Fabian and his whole Narcissus thing with Ecaf. The dance bard teacher having the same name as the Greek muse of dance. The place where the shards went back to being essentially Tartarus (body of a god used to house/torture the worst sinners or in fantasy highs case, dead/forgotten gods). Ambrosia being needed for devils nectar when it originated as food for the gods in Greek and Roman mythology. I’m seeing a pattern here

Prim's name wasn't the only one in the reaping bowl because the entire point of Prim being chosen is to show that life in Panem is random and cruel. These kids truly are selected and die for nothing, based on nothing, most of the time. There is often no grand cosmic plan or 4D chess conspiracy at play in awful circumstances unfolding, just systems of oppression working as they were designed. And you can do everything right to the letter - be the youngest eligible tribute from an unknown family whose name is only in the bowl once, not take out any tesserae - but it still won't save you.

I want to see people look at Phantom, really look at him, and realize that is a child. That is a dead child. And oh my god, he’s fighting other dead children. And suddenly Danny notices an odd uptake in people investigating missing children’s cases in Amity Park in the past ten years because the other day Phantom called Ember a rip-off of The Dazzlings from My Little Pony and how does he know what that is, are there tvs in the ghost zone?
