Just A Little Doctor's Note

I have been receiving a lot of correspondence lately regarding the subject of people harassing others with regard to their rather flattering art pieces based on myself and my dear friends. In particular, the issue with individuals forcing their opinions onto others.

I would like to take a moment to address this once and for all, as I will no longer be responding to any messages on this subject matter, as I feel I have explained my own personal feelings on this time and time again in the most clear and concise manner that I can.

I am a firm believer of respecting the opinions of others. I am not in the least bit offended when a person creates an artistic piece of myself in a much more decadent light. While I may not display these to safeguard eyes of a younger variety, it is something I am not against, as it is a form of expression that I would hate to stymie.

I also respect the opinions of those who dislike the more showy pieces. It is their preference and I believe that they have a right to it, as does everyone.

However.

I will never be supportive, publicize, or otherwise agree with any kind of harassment, targeting, bullying, or heinous behaviour to either side of the coin. I will never agree with those who try to force their opinion onto others, belittle them, or make them feel like dirt under one's shoe for simply having their own tastes and preferences.

Please, friends. Please be kind. Please be respectful and supportive. This world is full of negativity and I would hate to see it spill out among those that I hold very dear to my heart.

it always brings a smile to my face, remembering the first ever title drop on doctor who. it became a tradition for our titular character to introduce himself as the doctor and then have someone else understandably ask “¿doctor who?”. but no, the first time was susan mentioning that he was a doctor before anyone ever met him. then, since susan is his granddaughter and her last name is foreman, ian called him “doctor foreman”, leading this centuries-old mf who apparently doesn’t understand human naming conventions for a society he’s been presumably hiding out in for months to be the first ever character on the show to say the words out loud: doctor who

Been screwing up on posts things are so out of hand when switching hospitals and doctors. At the same time, I need to turn in the doctors note for a permanent excuse of absence.

With as fair as I believe others want the system to be, I'm positive that would include a juror who can see and remember things. Maybe even take notes. Oh, not having random seizures and infections too. The whole getting into the wheelchair and around with a caretaker isn't easy.

Whoa, it's a good thing I didn't get into law. My sis believes that was a missed one for me. What what? And missing out on a Playboy Mansion Party wasn't. My goodness, I had my way in.

She thought I only wanted to be popular. That's a load of bull hockey. Which part of introvert gave the that idea? Ohh yeah, because I had packs of friends from clubs and schools.

Turns out she's the REAL creative introvert. Myself, I stick quiet to concentrate and read. Heck, when I was stressed I played violent tennis against the wall. My goodness, it even carried over to running around the lake with my husky and swimming laps for hours after work.

Of course all the exercise I did was before symptoms began piling up one after another.

Promise ya, you don't want to be in my shoes.
