#I dont know if this is common knowledge but I was actually raised vegetarian #vegetarian parents/ vegetarian siblings/ etc #I had meat for the first time at the age of 21 #part of the reason I switched my diet was because I was having a hard time controlling my anemia #and was blacking out multiple times a day #like I'd stand up and everything would go black and I'd feel myself start shaking uncontrollably #and I'd come to consciousness a few moments later either on the floor or leaning against a wall #you can definitely be healthy on a vegetarian diet! the rest of of my family is a testament to that #but I personally do not feel like I can be vegetarian and healthy. #also the taking away eggs comment was funny.....do you think leaving unfertilized eggs to rot in the coop is more compassionate? #and the incorrect evolutionary biology (we are omnivores. our guts and teeth are those of omnivores) #also this world where 'animals can just live rather than being objects'. does this person know how fucking spoiled my chickens are #do they know about the Hento boxes 😂 #finally I gotta love the pre-emptive 'please don't talk to me about indigenous people and poor people' #but yeah don't take this as me being universally against vegans/vegetarians.
