I recently got into making zines and I'm so excited about this one. Featuring quotes from friends about their personal rituals and relationships with their gender/s and sex, a celebration of various types of joy from a variety of people.
I'm a big believer that gender euphoria is something we all feel regardless of if we are queer or not. A lot of my work certainly focuses more on queer and trans joy because I am trans, but with this zine I really wanted to include quotes from people who do not identify as queer.
Issue 1 of GENDER EUPHORIA was released at Lismore Print and Zine Fair 2023 and I couldn't believe the warm welcome it got. It completely sold out at our stall, so I decided to make it available digitally and get straight to work on Issue 2 which will be released in late August.
You can find the digital zine here 🩷
I'm so excited for Issue 2, it'll be much larger than the 1st and will include a lot of my own original writings, poems, song lyrics and art. And of course, more quotes from lovely people discussing their relationships with gender and sex.

February 12 2023
I have had this idea for a while where I try to find a picture each month over a long period of time to see how I develop into my gender identity. This weekend I have been doing just that – both because I am curious of nature and because I made an artwork for a zine about some of my most gender euphoric experiences so far. What a ride it was to go through it and see where I’ve been. Some looks ended up surprising me a lot. Like how did I forget about my short bob haircut in 2014!? No idea.

do you have any resources for questioning people (esp gender?)
It's hard to answer this without more detail tbh because I'm not sure exactly what form of resources you're looking for. The biggest pieces of advice I can give you are 1) read everything, 2) follow trans people, and 3) actively experiment and play with your gender.
Read queer history, read old zines, read memoirs by trans people. Read trans fiction and queer theory. Follow trans people whose content resonates with you.
Get out there and do gender in person if it is safe for you to do so: try out different names and pronouns, meet other queer and trans and gender non-conforming people, try out expressing your gender through your appearance in different ways.
If you're looking for specific recommendations:
The Gender Quest Workbook - Starts out very basic Gender 101 style, with questioning gender roles and then moves towards exploring gender expression and transition.
My Queer Year - I'm still working on this, have been for more than a year. Not gender specific, it's more of a planner + guided journal with a queer theme. A lot of the topics can be personally related to gender; I've written in mine on topics including dysphoria, euphoria, gender expression in public, and medical transition.
Accepting Gender - Gender workbook based in ACT (acceptance and commitment) therapy. This is on my list to read, and I'm not yet familiar with the actual content of the book. It's an option that exists.
I'm going to recommend transreads.org. There are a bunch of books on there available in pdf format that you can just download and read.
