Do you have any reading goals for 2021? 📚 I never set a numeric reading goal for myself, but I do always have some kind of intentions in mind. I plan to continue last year's goal of accepting/requesting fewer review books (& being more thoughtful in the ones I do accept/request). Last year, I was also a lot better about buying books & continuing that into this year, my biggest goal is to read more from my existing stash of unread books. . . I purged some of my TBR books a few months ago, so I feel like my shelves are at a reasonable place. I'm hoping to read at least one book per month from my TBR shelves, which are a mix of YA (shown here) & adult romance. Fears beneath us.

You describe your fears like I should also be afraid of them. The only thing that I fear is that you have the wrong perception on us and what I am. You say I’ll come to dislike you because of your freckles, your laugh, the crinkles beneath your eyes, and so on, but that’s everything that I’m in love with. I map out every single thing that I love about you within your freckles and connect the dots. Your eyes I seek depth into because I want to be soulfully connected to you and feel every emotion from within them. Your laughs outline every mood you’re in and I can easily distinguish what each laugh corresponds to mood wise.

I fear that you’ll never come to realise just how much you mean to me. I fear you’ll never realise just how much I enjoy your presence and time. I fear you’ll never know just how worthy you are and just how important you are. I fear you’ll never properly accept the love that I have to give. I am so invested in you. I don’t want you to fear us, or me. I fear that you don’t see the chivalrous love that we have for each other. I fear that you think that this is just a facade when it’s not, this is real. I fear that you think I’ll become tired of you. I have the most energy when I’m with you. I want to run laps around the sun for you. The blood pumping through me because of you. The adrenaline rush and the need to seek adventures with you because our love is a whole new experience. I fear that you have this disconcerting urge to put up your walls, withdraw from us and run because you lack enough trust or love from me, like I don’t satisfy your needs. But I know that’s not true.

I want you to realise that you don’t have to diminish vulnerable moments by using sarcasm and dark humour.

I want you to realise that you don’t have to continue manifesting in doubt as if I’m not going to love your appearance or for who you are on the inside.

You’re just letting your fears and defence towards love take over and i don’t want that baby. I want to love you through it all, through all that you’ve gone through. Open up to me and know that I am a whole different kind of love. I am going to love you until the very last day on this earth, but even beyond that. Don’t fear me. Don’t fear us. ★ Do you have any signed books? If so, which one is your favorite? If not, which one would you like to have signed most of all?      My favorite signed book is my UK hardcover of #Nevernight by @misterkristoff! I had the chance to meet Jay at @yallwest in 2019 and have my copy (and a few others!) signed. It was so much fun and I was shocked when he personalized it with a quote and doodle of Mister Kindly. 😭🖤 He even commented on how rare it was to find a UK hardcover of Nevernight at the time.        That was the first time I had the chance to meet an author in person and it made such an impression on me. We don’t live somewhere that signings or tour stops usually occur, so I usually miss out or have to travel to go to them.       I hope that down the road things get back to a point that we can have in person events like that again. Both my children’s names came from books. I am anti diet, pro self love and all about finding the balance between joyous movement and comfort for myself. It’s a process. I love to write.
