Aizetsu x Reader (Hashira)

Part 1

Sekido said with anger. Walking up to you, staring you in the eyes. “If you are with the others. You're with me too. She's pretty pathetic for a hashira.” He scoffed. You nudged Aizetsu to let you go and he did, you walked to Sekido and smiled. “You look like you need a hug.” And hugged him. He stood there, stunned. Wondering why that was your first reaction. You heard laughing from behind you. Looking up you see Sekido blushing like CRAZY.

You started giggling and cupped his cheek with your hand, kissing him and walking away, leaving him there. Urogi was getting a kick out of this and was laughing so hard. He practically fell on the floor laughing.

It has been 2 weeks since the demon slayer corp has heard from you, usually you get in and get out with your missions. When your crow had returned to them claiming that you had been taken away by an uppermoon, the other hashira were not too happy about it.

Muichiro was the most furious of them all. He might forget a lot of things, but he could never forget you. “I am going back.” and he was gone in a flash.

“Another hashira gone… We can’t replace them fast enough..” Obanai said coldly, not caring that you were gone.

Kagaya was deeply upset at another one of his children going missing.

You are upsetting me..”

Urogi sighed and looked at the two of you seriously. “That black and blue haired hashira is back, and keeps shouting your name, (Name).” You stopped smiling. “Muichiro… No he shouldn’t be here. Get him out of her WITHOUT hurting him.. Please..” You asked Urogi and he nodded. “Anything you wish for my dove~” You blushed at the sudden nickname. “I will tell the others not to hurt him!” He laughed a bit and asked “What is he to you anyway.” He asked a bit more seriously but still smiling. “He's my little brother..” he started smiling more. “Ohh! I thought he was trying to steal you from us~” He walked over to you lifting your chin and kissing you before leaving.

Aizetsu had an angry look on his face, he looked at you and pulled you closer. Hugging you tightly. “Pay attention to me. I feel like the Hashira are super in tune w/ each other, as well as totally oblivious They’re super in tune w/ each other in that they’re all phenomenal warriors, and thus have the necessary perception to quickly notice when something’s “off”

But they don’t really all know each other super well? And they don’t have time to just hang out regularly (unless they’re simultaneously slaying demons hah)

They also technically don’t all get along lmao

So if you’re feeling out of sorts, then they’d certainly pick up on your feelings, but most of them wouldn’t immediately know precisely what to do or say aka how to help you

I’m looking at you, Giyuu 😃

Okay real talk tho Giyuu’s been through a lot (they all have *sigh*)— Ik his depicted personality and trauma runs deeper than superficial emotional constipation 🥺

Assuming they all at least tolerate you, their approaches to cheering you up would differ vastly

their relationship wouldn't change that much; but giyuus outlook/attitude towards kohei and the other nagai's improves. he becomes less stiff around them- he warms up quite a bit. though in the end its all the more devastating when everything falls apart 💕

that was the main idea! the only parental figures he really had were tsutako and urokodaki- their influences shape his own reactions to becoming a parent.

as for how he babies them; it differs according to what he thinks they need. if someone is flagging during training, they get a ten minute break, some hand-made manju (which are amazing- im partial to pork or fruit flavours. they also have an interesting history in japan) and an order for an hour of endurance training.

if one of the pups is sick or truly exhausted from a mission he whisks them away to his estate: to their personalized room or to spend time in the pond-gardens. he scents them, feeds them and speaks to them softly until they fall asleep wrapped in his haori. he doesn’t really say much as his love language is more quality time/acts of service, but some of the pups are eased by his voice.

another way he babies them is that he kind of herds them around during missions that he DEFINETLY was not assigned to and then kind of micromanages how they do their things. zenitsu and genya find it annoying but also comforting, tanjiro is discouraged at first bc he thinks giyuu doesn’t believe in him but after an awkward but heartfelt conversation he’s more reassured. kanao doesn’t feel one way or another (she gets a strange soft sensation when he’s with her- it makes her feel small in a kind way. she doesn’t realize the feeling is safety) and inosuke is just excited to show off to his boss-ass mom who is also the First Hand in his “army” (which is just the other pups). mui is usually sent on missions by himself or with some mid-high level slayers, so he either gets to spend one-on-one time with giyuu or show off to these Lowly Pathetic Slayers Without Cool Hashira Dams.

in this au nezuko has a little bit more awareness than in canon- she can recognize when people she spends a lot of time with aren’t her biological family. she recognizes them as who they are because over time she begins to see through the illusions and claims the people behind them as her new pack. random humans are still overlayed by images of her mother and siblings, but giyuu, tanjiro, the other pups, and few others she spends a lot of time with are themselves. she understands that these random humans aren’t her family, that they’re gone, but she still protects them.

no its genuinely so funny. he tries very hard to stick to the “i have no brother so this doesn’t matter to me” but he’s so confused. and jealous. and angry, because genya is trying to replace their ‘real’ mother (who loves her remaining boys very much and watches them with heavy hearts). he just... tries not to think about it. and takes a lot more missions.

there’s a lot of shenanigans about kyojuro trying to deter senjuro and giyuu from spending lots of time together, but ultimately it doesn’t work. giyuu spends a ton of his free time switching through where his pups are (the kamaboko squad at the flame pillar estate, genya in the stone pillar estate, kanao aoi and the triplets in the butterfly estate and ofc the mist pillar estate) so he comes around often.

rengoku finds himself actually falling in love with giyuu. he’s invested in his pups lives, and with their influence he’s slowly shedding old hurts and cold habits. he’s becoming someone he should’ve been in the first place; giyuu is healing through taking care of others. he trains them, he feeds them and guides them- he reminds kyojuro of his mother. they’re different, of course, but they have similarities in the way they love. not like bonfires or explosions or the all-encompassing ocean, but like embers of a well-kept fire or a winding river that has already faced the test of time. in the end he cant keep himself away.

YESS THAT WAS A HUGE INSPIRATION FOR ME!! i love that fic so much and ive read it multiple times. im trying to stay away from the plot as much as i can, but there are things that i just couldn’t not repurpose or draw from. read saunne’s other work!! the one about giyuu being haunted by sabito!! its amazing too!

well you see. giyuu has massive feelings.( “I didn't want to remember because my tears would never stop. When I did remember, I was so sad I couldn't do anything.” - quote from the manga) but he doesn’t really know what to do with them and he naturally doesn’t have a very expressive demeanor, so they get swept under the rug. he’s aware that he’s in love with all four of them- he just doesn’t think about it too much.

as soon as he goes through the “oh fuck. ive fallen deeply and wholly in love with each of them and they’re all very important to me” phase, it just becomes another fact to him. he had an older sister. his favourite food is simmered salmon daikon. as a child his main hobby was tracking temperature and rain or catching fireflies in the summer. he is and always will be in love with tengen, makio, suma and hinatsuru. he has blue eyes. these things are the building blocks of who he is; giyuu just doesn’t realize there’s a possibility of them loving him back.

he falls in love very slowly. he’s not unaware of it happening- he just doesn’t know how to stop it.

makio always had something new for him. she gave him things, things meant for him alone. gifts with his initials embroidered on the edges, pins that match his eyes, books on poetry and weather and the science of how fireflies glow. each new thing is accompanied by thought and affection. they carry parts of herself in the contours of the gifts and the hum in her chest when he accepts. giyuu can’t bear not accepting her.

hinatsuru likes fruit. giyuu also likes fruit. so they spend a lot of time in the beautiful shaded orchards that line the sound pillar property- he lays in the shadows and she lays in the sun beside him. she takes him to plays he’s never seen, leads him through shops and libraries and in turn he takes her to his quietest, most beloved spots. the river he fell in when he was two, where he also learned to swim. the tea shop urokodaki took him on special weekends after long hours of training. certain wisteria houses with lovely ducks that have never disliked him. giyuu wants to share with her.

suma speaks so quickly but always clearly. she never says anything that can be mistaken as something else. shes direct and acts simple, when in reality she’s anything but. giyuu can see that her emotions are also huge, towering things that overwhelm her. she’s just on the “very expressive” side of the spectrum. he can sit next to her with a blank face and one-word answers and she understands him so easily. giyuu adores the way she exists.

tengen is a very tactile person. giyuu was, once, but finds it difficult to breach the distance he’s built. tengen takes his hand just as often as he takes his blades; the surety of it is present too. they spar sometimes, full contact yet somehow their blows glance off each other like children playing tag. by the end one or both of them is always laughing. he enjoys that tengen knows when to back off or come closer; giyuu ends up breaching the distance himself.

giyuu is a creature of habit, routine, an self-repression. the uzuis break him out of that last one, and he just can’t help but love them.

» Uzui sees right through you. That's the only thing I need to say about him. The only reason why he played along with your serious nature was that he didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable in front of the other pillars.

» He let you know about it right after you were alone, though, because he got kind of fed up with it, and he wanted to pamper you! He was smooth as ever, and he just pulled you into a hug before he said something about how he knows what's going on.

» This man can make you break down, but you felt surprisingly light after you had cried and cuddled with him for a while. I guess it's partly because of his three wives, so he's learned how to take care of others.

Mitsuri

» I would say that Mitsuri knows right away that something's going on, but she's a bit oblivious to it, so she doesn't say anything right away. The only reason why she ended up learning about your so-called facade was that she got to know you a bit better, and there was something fake about your personality. (She ended up asking about it)

» She's so happy to give you affection (she isn't a love pillar for no reason), so cuddles, head pats, etc., are going to be part of your daily life! She especially loves to let you rest your head against her chest because she knows how soft it is.

» The only thing she isn't the best at dealing with is your stress because there are many ways to get rid of it, and she isn't sure what works for you. She isn't sad about it or anything, but it's just going to take a while before she learns what she can do to help you relax.

• Obanai:

He is jealous because he sees you always being with Kaburamaru and, due to his training, you have very little time with him as he is always tired. So, Obanai thinks you love the snake more than him and when you ask him what he has, he gets backed up by saying he has nothing.

• Rengoku:

He finds you cute with little flowers on your head, although he doesn't know how to put them on. So, every time he makes a mess and you find yourself having to clean your head from various petals. Despite this, you keep letting him to do it since, deep down, you don't even mind that much.

• Tengen:

He wants to wear makeup, but you categorically refuse to let him do it. He tried once and it ended badly. Since then you won't let him get close if you see he has a brush and some paint in his hand.

• Gyomei:

He thinks he's not good enough for you. Because of his blindness, he doesn't spin a real man, so he's always afraid he won't do much as a boyfriend. One day, you asked him if this was true and, after seeing his assent, you hugged him reassuring him that you don't care if he is blind or not. After that you had to console him for half an hour since he cried.

• Muichiro:

He likes to have his hair done by you. It relaxes him to feel your hands running through the raven strands and he could snooze for two days if you don't.

• Sanemi:

He has a penchant for cat ears. He hates to admit it, but when you wear them you drive him crazy and you can safely make him do whatever you want with the promise that you will wear them later.

There is no awkward silence, on the contrary, sometimes you think that if one of the two spoke in these moments, the atmosphere created would be ruined.

Knowing that you are crazy about [favorite food] and spending little time with you due to training at Tsuguko, he always tries to cook your favorite dish whenever he gets the chance. The first time around, he wanted to surprise you knowing that you had had a really hard workout so he had gone to get all the ingredients. Not knowing the correct recipe, he tried to improvise. The problem is that he got the quantities wrong, so he screwed up. When you got back, you noticed all the commotion in the kitchen with a disconsolate Genya slumped on the table. Even though she always seems so composed, respectful and polite, she has a childish side that only comes out with you. In fact, when she spreads the sheets and you happen to pass through the Butterfly Mansion, you inevitably start playing hide and seek and you always have to chase her between those white pieces of fabric. When you manage to take it, you hug it starting to fuss over it even if it was your stuffed animal when you were little. Being both very proud and terribly composed, you don't want anyone to know what's going on in these moments, or they could be pissing you off forever. But don't you know that, in reality, Shinobu is witnessing all these little moments of tenderness between the two of you.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH- I’m dying. Our first headcanons, I’m kinda scared tbh. It’s not the best since it’s the first time we do that type of stuff but we really hope you guys will enjoy it !!! :’)

At first, he can’t believe it. He’s dating you and you’re dating him. He’d be so surprised that you like him that way. Like, wow.

No seriously, whenever you announce to someone that you’re dating him, he’s as shocked as the person processing the information.

You’re probably the one who asked him out in the first place. That baby boy could never bring up the courage to do it; he’s way too insecure. Why would someone like him ?

During your confession, he’ll deny all the good things you said about him with the most heart breaking expression on his face. He can’t believe it; he doesn’t want to believe anyway.

He’s persuaded that every compliment you gave him is a lie and it just breaks your heart to see him think so poorly of himself.

You decide to do your best to prove him that you genuinely care about him, that you genuinely like him. So you try and do absolutely anything to make him believe you; from the big things like presents, fancy dates, obnoxious love declarations, etc… to the small things like holding and squeezing his hand, complimenting him…

It’d take a while but he’d finally accept it. He’s still as insecure but he believes you a little more.

He’s completely terrified at the idea of losing you. Just the thought of it makes him sick.

Prepare yourself to be wrapped in bubble wrap more than one time.

He’ll do anything in his power to protect you and make you the happiest person alive.

He’s an awkward man with little to zero experience at socializing so you guess that he knows absolutely nothing about dating. The first few months will probably just be you dying in laughter because of all the things he did wrong.

(He thinks you’re mocking him but you’re actually just smitten by how cute he is with all the efforts he puts in your relationship.)

After a while, he’d try and take you on a surprise date that he planned entirely by himself and he’s absolutely terrified; he’s just so scared you’d hate it.

But you’d be really happy and probably give him a big bear hug while telling him you’re really lucky to have him.

(Needless to say, he’d blush-)

He also start getting a few cute habits when you give him surprise attention; he starts fidgeting his fingers and try to look away from you. Just cup his face and peck his lips and you got a puddle Giyuu !

He’d start opening up to you at night, when you both can’t sleep. You two sit somewhere in the garden of his estate and he talks to you about his past, his intrusive thoughts, his guilt…

Please, be supportive and hold him tight. The next morning his eyes might be red and swollen but believe me, he’d never felt so peaceful.

If you’re sad, he’ll listen to you and try and make all your worried go away the best he can; he doesn’t want you to feel what he feels on a daily basis.

Giyuu will probably complain to you about Shinobu and her endless teasing but you always notice the very slight smirk he gets when he talks about her. She might not see him as a friend and he might be cold with her but she holds a special part in his heart (he might admit, one day, if faith accepts it, that he kinda sees her as a friend. Not sure when)

Shinobu probably took you apart one time and told him that you don’t have to date Giyuu out of pity (as a joke ofc).

You low-key scolded her for saying something like that but you both kinda made a silent alliance to make Giyuu go crazy.

Let’s say he might as well go bury his hopes and dreams of not being teased already.

He low-key cherish your teasing though. He’ll never admit it, of course. But even if you two spend so much time annoying him, you still decided to spend time on HIM. And it just warm his heart…

Until you decided to make him choke on chocolate cake. He really don’t know how you thought it was a good idea.

Giyuu’ll cough up the remains of the chocolate. He’ll gulp some water and look at you with a very shocked face. “Why?!?”

“Ara, ara, Tomioka-san~ it’s not like it’s the first time we make a bad joke !”

“I’m…so sorry, honey-“ and you two just die laughing while Giyuu silently judges you.

He forgives you eventually.

He always does.

If you guys are walking together and you suddenly feel him freeze and grab your arm, a dog is probably nearby. Try and take a different route or move the puppy far enough from him.

DON’T, DO NOT, NEVER kiss Giyuu in public. Especially if the other Pillars are there. He might die on the spot.

He’s really not comfortable with PDA. Maybe hand holding, and maybe, maybe, an occasional peck on the cheek.

Pinky holding please. You’d never think he’d like it but he just loves the intimacy it brings.

Giyuu’s kisses are soft, you can’t tell me otherwise.

He can’t help it. He just loves kissing you gently, delicately. And it’s LONG. God, if he kisses you, he won’t stop to save his life; he doesn’t want to stop at ALL.

Ever since this relationship started, he’s probably beet red half the time.

You’ll make Giyuu come out of his shell with the Kamado boy, it’s almost a certainty. He’s gonna have friends with you two around, there’s no way he’s staying alone.

Because of you, he’d try so hard to befriend the Pillars; you never seen him stick to Sanemi and Obanai much. He just wants them to stop hating him. He’ll probably try bringing Sanemi some ohagi with Tanjiro but you’ll stop them cause you don’t want them to get killed.

You eventually end up trying to talk to Sanemi about NOT killing your boyfriend because he’s actually really sweet and is far from believing himself above the other pillars (like hell Sanemi, you don’t know how much an insecure baby Giyuu actually is)

Giyuu is low-key never jealous. If you gained his trust, you gained it in every way possible and he will never think of you as possibly cheating or anything.

Sometimes you guys train together. At first, he’d go easy, but not so easy on you, if you get what I mean? Like, he wants you to be able to protect yourself from demons so he won’t lose another person he cherishes but at the same time he really doesn’t want to hurt you.

After a while, he made up his mind and decided to go hard on you and since that day he has NO MERCY-

You’re not going to die on him. Never. He wouldn’t be able to take it.

When you guys finish, you’ll just sit there exhausted but you’re glad he’s training you well, and spending time with him is a big plus.

He’s a big cuddler behind closed doors and a 100% little spoon, fight me.

He likes feeling safe in your arms, and he buries his head in your neck. Hold him tight. Play with his hair and pamper his face with kisses. He loves it

He’ll do his best to give you as much love as you need. Don’t ever doubt about it. He’d go to hell and endure it just for your pretty smile.

🎴 He'd make sure to stay alongside your bed for the whole time, no matter if it would be just a flu or cold

🎴 He'd probably feed you some food to make sure you'd eat enough

🎴 Would refuse to go on any missions before you would get better

🎴 Would sing to you

🎴 Trust me, this boy has an amazing voice. And he'd only sing to you. 10/10 experience, would recommend

Were you guys dating ? Well, the both of you would say no, but all the other pillars would say ‘yes’. Some of them would even add ‘yes, even more when they’re drunk’.

And right now, you were both drunk, which ended up in Sanemi eyeing you during the whole party while you were laughing with Mitsuri and Kyojuro.

You went to the kitchen, and when you came back, Sanemi grabbed you by your waist and pulled you on top of him. As he was almost laying on the couch, you were laying on top of him when he pulled you down.

You giggled and he kissed you, already pushing his tongue in and leaving a string of saliva when he released you, grinning. At first, the other pillars acted as if they weren’t seeing anything.

Indeed, it was only kisses, so Sanemi himself was talking to the other pillars as if nothing was going on. But slowly, he started to cup your buttcheeks, squeezing them with both his hands.

You didn’t mind, as you were resting your cheek on his shoulder. However, as he started to add more friction by humping slowly your body against his, Obanai lost it.

‘’ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS ? GET A ROOM !’’ He shouted, making half the pillars jump in surprise -as they were actually too drunk to even notice Sanemi and you.

Sanemi simply groaned and pushed you a bit, before Obanai started to talk normally again. The white-haired pillar laughed and looked at you. ‘’We’ll get a room later. You’ll have to wait. It’ll be even better !’’ He said, excited.

Giyuu Tomioka

Giyuu wasn’t fond of PDA. Well, he was fond of PDA, he just didn’t know how to do it so you were mostly the one holding his hand or brushing your fingers against his cheek.

That’s why most of the pillars thought you guys weren’t doing more than some kisses sometimes. And how wrong they were.

As Giyuu didn’t really talk to them, nobody was shocked whenever he would stay in his room for hours. And as you were dating, it didn’t look weird for them whenever you would sleep in his room instead of your own.

And tonight was no exception. You were in Giyuu’s room, talking about the mission you had just come back from. And you had missed him a lot.

That’s why you were quite touchy with him. Sure, you already were behind closed doors, but now that you had missed his touch, you had to caress his skin, to feel him against you.

And right now, he was laying on the bed, and you were sat on top of him. At first, it was just to tell him about your mission, but you eventually ended up making him horny, sat like that.

You were only kissing him as he was running his hands through your hair when someone knocked at the door and suddenly opened it -at this point it wasn’t even necessary to knock.

You were still sat on Giyuu even though you had released each other from the knock, when Shinobu chuckled. ‘’I’m sorry ! I didn’t know you were back from your mission (Y/N) ! I’ll be more careful next time !’’ She said, before closing the door. You were sure she had planned this. She would never visit Giyuu like that if she hadn’t planned anything.

Kyojuro Rengoku

The pillars knew you guys were fond of PDA and you really weren’t hiding much neither. How many times they caught you clinging on each other !

‘’Please. Just for once, please. Stop talking about your sexual intercourse for fuck’s sake.’’ Sanemi would say whenever Kyojuro would drink too much and start being very explicit.

You wouldn’t tell as much as he would, but it would still be enough to make Shinobu pissed. And that became a game between Kyojuro and you to make the pillars mad about your relationship.

And right now, Kyojuro was in your room. He was training Tanjiro and his friends, but he had managed to take a break -well, they had a break and he took benefit of it to sneak in your room.

Time for a quickie ? It was always time for a quickie ! Kyojuro didn’t need much time to drive you crazy, as he knew every soft and sweet spots you had.

And that’s why he was already sucking at your neck, your haori long forgotten on the bed. You were still both standing, your back approaching more and more the wall.

And as your hands were starting to get in his pants, the door suddenly opened. ‘’RENGOKU-SAN ! INOSUKE THREW A ROCK AT TOKI-‘’ Zenitsu stopped, blushing.

You took off your hands quickly and Kyojuro turned, smiling at his trainee. ‘’I understand you couldn’t knock. I’m going to take care of that issue, you can go back outside.’’ He said. He was really shameless, was he ?

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke thought he wasn’t acting weird when he offered you to sleep with him. The other boys weren’t here yet, so you just laughed. ‘’I see that look on your face. We won’t fuck in front of them, Inosuke.’’

He laughed when the boys actually arrived, and you rolled your eyes before waving at all of them and going to your own room. (You get to choose ; else in Genya’s room else Nezuko’s but you ain’t sleeping with main 3).

That was without thinking about Inosuke sneaking in your room while everyone was asleep. At first you chuckled, since he was only hugging you.

But when he started to pamper you with kisses, you slowed him down. ‘’Inosuke. There’s Nezuko/Genya in the room. We won’t fuck here neither.’’ He snorted.

‘’Then where are we going ? The corridors ? The living room ?’’ You chuckled at how straightforward he was, but you agreed to go somewhere else, still trying to be as quiet as possible.

Inosuke was sat on a chair, and was nibbling at your skin as you were sat on his lap. He was squeezing your buttcheeks -he really loved them- grinning like a maniac in the process.

You both still had some clothes on, but your boyfriend had slipped an hand in your pants. And suddenly, you saw something from the corner of your eye.

When you looked behind Inosuke, you saw Tanjiro and Zenitsu. They had surely awoken and when they saw Inosuke gone, they looked for him. You pushed his hand and he simply grabbed a random thing from the room to throw at their faces.
