“Mr. Black, are you quite well?”

James hides his laugh behind his hand, elbow resting on the desk, and Remus watches Sirius’ shoulders tense and twitch as he straightens his back.

“Y-yes, Professor Flitwick,” Sirius grits out behind a painful smile, “Quite well.”

Flitwick nods and returns to ignoring the boys at the back of the class, focusing on the more rapt students at the front.

A small grunt escapes Sirius’ lips, and he hunches forward again, burying his face in his hands.

Remus fidgets beside him. Sirius might be the one with a vibrating plug up his arse in the middle of class right now, but in reality, Remus is the one suffering.

He grips his quill tighter as Sirius shudders quietly.

“Don’t you think you should go back to the dorm?” Remus asks sharply.

“Piss off,” Sirius grumbles, voice muffled.

James sighs cheerfully and lays his head down on the desk, facing Sirius and looking like the cat that got the cream.

“How you holding up, Padfoot?” he asks with false consideration. “Ready to give in?”

The only answer is another angry grumble from Sirius.

To be fair, isn’t like Sirius doesn’t deserve to be punished.

He had purposefully interrupted James and Lily’s private time in the dorm (which James had filled out all the proper paperwork for, and therefore Remus and Peter had been happy to camp out in the common room for the night, but Sirius hadn’t been pleased about the prospect of a less-than-ideal night’s sleep before their Quidditch match the next day, so he’d acted like a child), storming in to reclaim his territory and ending up with more than an eyeful of what the couple like to get up to. Sirius had been merciless in his laughter and mockery of having discovered new information about James’ particular sexual interests.

Remus doesn’t think that it’s anyone else’s business what someone derives pleasure from, and deep down, he doesn’t think Sirius does either, but Sirius had never been able to hold back from making fun of James, even when it was the height of hypocrisy for him to mock James for liking stuff up his bum.

And so, it was only predictable that James would exact his revenge. Which he did that morning when the post arrived, James’ owl dropping a small box in front of Sirius with a thump over his breakfast plate. Remus knew straight away from James’ evil grin that it was going to be a long day. Though he honestly never could have predicted that James would actually purchase a neon purple vibrating anal plug for Sirius and then dare him to last through one lesson with it in– while James controlled the vibrations. Once Remus knew about this though, he really should have predicted that he would be horribly tortured right alongside Sirius.

It’s truly killing Remus to sit next to Sirius while he squirms and sweats and pants softly in restrained pleasure. Remus has been half hard since they sat down in Flitwick’s classroom, which was only ten minutes ago.

Sirius isn’t even able to answer James’ last question with anything more than a groan that’s probably supposed to sound threatening but comes out more frustrated and erotic. James doesn’t like the lack of verbal response though, so Remus sees his wand twist under the desk, pointed directly at Sirius.

“FUCK,” Sirius shouts into his hands.

The whole room freezes– except for James, who’s practically sliding to the floor with the effort of containing his laughter– and Flitwick stands on his toes to look at them again.

“Mr. Black? Was that you?”

Remus is trying to swallow down the heat in his cheeks as everyone stares in their direction, not to mention trying to calm the way Sirius’ shout was like a hot jolt to his cock.

Sirius takes a deep, shaky breath and raises his head, his face rather impressively blank. Remus can see how pink his ears are though, and can’t help but want to lick the delicious beads of sweat gathering at the base of his neck.

Sirius smiles apologetically at their professor and nods, seemingly unable to speak.

“Are you sure you’re all right?” Flitwick asks again.

Sirius swallows and nods. His eyes are wide and his arms are crossed over his abdomen, fingers digging into his elbows.

Flitwick purses his lips and goes back to their lesson, which Remus hasn’t written a single note on.

“I,” Sirius whispers under his breath to James, “Am. Going. To. Murder. You.”

James pops back up, wiping tears from his face. “Mate, it’s not even on the highest setting.”

Sirius moans quietly, and Remus contemplates dragging him out of the classroom by his hair and into the nearest broom cupboard. Which would be quite the shock to Sirius, considering he has no clue that Remus fancies the pants off of him.

James’ wand starts to twist again but Sirius’ hand lashes out and clamps onto James’ arm.

“Don’t you dare, Potter!” Sirius snaps.

James just grins. “All you have to do is admit you were wrong and it will be over, Padfoot.”

“Fuck you,” Sirius says on a sharp inhale. “There’s no way you had this in during supper on Saturday.”

“I did!” James defends, then glances to the side guiltily. “Although I never said the vibration was on.”

“You absolute fucking– OH– fuck–”

He released his grip on James to smack him, but James is quick with his wand, and Remus can actually hear the plug vibrating now.

A few students turn around to glare at them, but luckily Flitwick somehow didn’t hear.

“Sirius,” Remus spits out under his breath, pleading more for his own sake than anyone else’s, “Will you please just leave and deal with…that?” He gestures awkwardly in the direction of Sirius’ crotch area.

Sirius looks over at him, and Remus bites the inside of his cheek at the way Sirius’ brows are drawn together in concentration and his cheeks are dusted hot pink.

“And let Prongs win?” Sirius gapes at Remus. “Who the fuck do you think I am?”

Remus sighs, silently cursing everyone and everything around him. Maybe he should be the one to leave and deal with his own… situation. He isn’t paying attention to the lesson and he certainly isn’t enjoying sitting next to his wet dream brought to life and not being able to do anything about it.

He realizes that Sirius is still looking at him, and Remus locks his eyes onto his, watching Sirius’ pupils dilate and almost swallow up the snow-grey of his irises. Sirius sucks in a sharp breath and bites down hard on his bottom lip.

Then again, maybe Remus could endure a little more torture.

James ruins it by elbowing Sirius in the ribs.

“Ugh, what?” Sirius grunts, turning away from Remus and fidgeting in his seat.

“Do you regret your actions yet?” James asks in a casual tone, as though his best mate doesn’t have a sex toy inside him in the middle of their Charms lesson, “Are you going to apologize to Lily and me?”

Sirius is already shaking his head. “Nope. Nope. You can’t make me. I regret nothing.”

Remus closes his eyes and prays for patience, bracing for the next–

The moan is thankfully muffled by Sirius stuffing his fist in his mouth, but it’s loud enough for the students nearby to turn and stare in alarm. Remus slides down in his chair and swallows down his own sound of pleasure. Or frustration. Or both.

Sirius is literally shaking. And Remus is literally going to explode.

He puts a hand on Sirius’ shoulder, undecided if he’s going to shove him or pull him close. “For the love of–”

His hand is suddenly gripping air as Sirius shoots his chair back and scrambles to his feet, practically running out of the classroom. That got Flitwick’s attention.

Their professor looks from the heavy door swinging shut to James and Remus and the empty seat between them.

“Will one of you go check on Mr. Black and see if he needs to be taken to the hospital wing?”

Remus is out of his chair almost as fast as Sirius was.

“Yes, Professor, I’ll go,” he declares in a completely steady and non-wobbly, not at all desperate voice. He ignores the snort from James and doesn’t wait for an acknowledgment from Flitwick before he’s rushing out the door in Sirius’ footsteps.

Remus hears water running when he opens the door to the bathroom nearest the Charms classroom, and he turns the corner to find Sirius standing at one of the sinks, gripping the edge with both hands so hard his knuckles are white.

“Er, hey,” Remus says.

Sirius whips his head up and lets out a sob of relief that does nothing to help the strain in Remus’ trousers.

“Thank fuck, Moony,” Sirius says breathlessly, “I need you.”

Remus feels heat rush up his spine and tingle along his scalp. He steps closer. “You do?”

“Yes– lock the door!” Sirius squeezes his eyes shut and unlatches one of his hands from the sink to cup it under the water. He bends over a bit and splashes his face, running his wet hand over the back of his neck and through his hair, then turns the tap off and looks over at Remus. “Is it locked?”

“Oh, er,” Remus jumps and takes his wand out, having been distracted by watching the lucky drops of water slide down Sirius’ skin. He locks the door and then throws a silencing spell at it for good measure, which turns out to be the right move because the second the spell leaves his lips, Sirius lets out the loudest, toe-curling moan Remus has ever heard.

It makes Remus’ stomach swoop and his cock twitch, but the sound is also so dramatic he can’t help but laugh.

“Merlin, Sirius!” His voice is incredulous as he walks over to his friend.

“I can’t– I c– this thing,” Sirius stammers, shaking his head. He’s practically shivering all over, his legs squirming and his hands grappling at the counter. “I can’t, Moony, I need you to– please– fucking take it out.”

Remus’ mouth drops open.

“What?”

“Take it out!” Sirius looks up at him with wild, pleading eyes. “I can’t take it anymore! I need it out, please. I can’t do it!”

His skin is flushed, his chest is heaving, and Remus thinks there might be tears in his eyes. Remus’ own heart is pounding frantically, and he’s completely rock hard at the sight of Sirius like this, but he also feels a bit lost and disconcerted– having never seen Sirius in this state before.

“Please, Moony,” Sirius whines, and oh, those words coming out of his mouth in that tone make Remus’ breath catch.

“Alright, alright,” he says soothingly, as though settling a wild animal, “Relax, Padfoot, I’ll take it out.”

Sirius groans in relief again, hanging his head. “Thank fucking hell,” he breathes. His hands are immediately at his belt and Remus feels himself blush even further, glancing around the bathroom even though he knows it’s empty.

He hears Sirius’ trousers drop to the floor and Remus closes his eyes to steady himself for a second before looking.

Sirius’ smooth, pale arse is lifted in the air, his slim, strong thighs actually shaking with the effort of holding himself together.

“Bloody hell, Sirius…” Remus mumbles, running a hand through his hair.

“I don’t fucking care, Moony,” Sirius says desperately, “Now is not the time to protest touching my arse! Just do it. Take it out.”

Remus huffs at the thought that Sirius thinks he’s bothered by this– well, he is, but not for the reasons Sirius thinks.

“Okay, hold your horses, Padfoot.”

He swallows thickly and reaches out a hand towards Sirius’ arse cheeks. This is fucking mad. He holds his breath, feeling a drop of sweat roll down his back, and places his palm on Sirius’ skin.

Sirius instantly bucks his hips and collapses forward, letting out another sinful moan that nearly shakes the walls.

“Sirius!” Remus shouts as he snaps his hand back. “You can’t do that!”

Sirius covers his head with his arms and practically whines. “I can’t help it! You don’t understand! It feels— fuck — I can’t help it, Moony!”

Sirius shudders out a deep breath and rubs his legs together. His cock must be impossibly hard too. Throbbing. Leaking. Oh, god.

Remus puts his face in his hands and tries to calm the fuck down. He’s going to kill James for putting him in this position.

Remus bends and leans his head closer to Sirius’. “Sirius?”

He gets a grunt in response.

“Are you… Are you sure you want me to take it out?”

There’s a pause, and then Sirius slowly lifts his head to look at Remus with hazy eyes. Fuck, Remus’ insides squirm at the blissed out anguish on Sirius’ face.

“W–what?” Sirius asks with a quick, shallow breath.

“I will if you want me to,” Remus says lowly– earnestly, because of course he will, “But is that what you want?”

He watches Sirius’ Adam’s apple bob up and down as he swallows thickly.

“I just…” Remus leans in even more, close enough to feel Sirius’ hot breath on his face, feeling emboldened by the look in Sirius’ misty, lust-filled eyes. “I just think it seems a bit of a…waste. You’re so wound up already, maybe you should… enjoy it?”

Sirius closes his eyes. “I… I–”

Remus watches a shiver rock through Sirius’ body, and he flexes his fingers still gripping the flesh of Sirius’ arse.

Sirius’ eyes flash open with a gasp. “Moony.”

In one quick motion, he straightens up and reaches out for Remus, yanking him forward by the shirt and crashing their mouths together. Remus manages a gasp of surprise before his arms are wrapping around Sirius, and he’s kissing him back with all he’s got.

Sirius raises an eyebrow as Remus dresses him and fixes their robes. “Moony. I can’t feel my legs. You think I’m going to Transfiguration?”

Remus takes out his wand and shoots a cleaning spell at the plug sitting innocently in the sink, and then at himself since he came in his trousers like he was a fourteen-year-old. “I think,” he says, grabbing the plug and slipping it into his pocket with his wand, “If you’re good, you’ll get a reward later.”

A warm rush spreads through him as he manages to make Sirius Black blush and splutter.

He turns to leave with a smile on his face but is quickly yanked back by Sirius, his body colliding against Sirius’. A perfect fit again.

“Oh, Moony,” Sirius smiles sweetly at him, “Don’t forget: a reward for me can be a reward for you too, darling.”

8. (give me) the first taste by @iamsiriuslyriddikulus [Narcissa/Lily, M, 4.4k] 💔🌿 Narcissa and Lily as hot moms smoking weed!!! Yes!! This Muggle AU is so well thought-out. The characters are so memorable. (Also I'm a sucker for flangst).

9. Love in a Hopeless Place by @dragonsandotters-dh [Remus/Narcissa, T, 4.6k] 💔🐺 So much hurt but also so much comfort. Draco gets bitten by Greyback. A heart-wrenching and hopeful look into the aftermath.

10. Male Bonding by musigneus [Remus/Severus, E, 9.8k] 🔥👀 This is angsty fuck-or-die to the max. Trapped in a cellar before the full moon. But it's SO GOOD and a somewhat hopeful ending.

11. Open a Vault For Me by Sevanna_OHera [Charity/Severus, M, 3.4k] 💔🧪 I found this pairing recently, and the angst level is off the charts. So much hope and longing in this fic and also a canon-compliant ending.

12. Table for One by @littlesixxwrites [Dean/Blaise, T, 3.2k] 🌼🎄 I LOVE THIS SHIP. Bean is the cutest. This fic has instantly smitten Blaise and equally enamored Dean. Lovely fluffy fic that made me squeal with happiness.

13. Maybe This Time (alternatively: once more, with feeling!) by @wanderingdonut [Regulus, G, 4.6k] 🤣👻 THIS FIC!! I died laughing from this fic, then I came back to life cackling and died all over again. Ghost Regulus is perfect. Snarky and entitled and wallowing in death lol.

14. toxicology by @batmansymbol [Hermione, G, 2.9k] 💔💌 A fascinating dive into the possible implication of Harry being a horcrux for so many years. I love how we view everything through Hermione's unreliable narration.

15. just a few sweaters by Prettything_uglylie [Molly, G, 2.4k] 🌼🧶 This story is a cup of hot cocoa in front of the fire. Warm and sweet and content. I adore it with my whole heart.

THE BIG FIND 2023: Day 2

The Big Find is a 10-day long Drarry fic-finding marathon to celebrate the blog’s anniversary. Below is the Day 2 compilation of lost fics, both old and new, that we’ve been unable to find. Our aim is to get as much attention to these lost fics as possible, to help people finally find their missing fics! Anyone can participate by reblogging, reading through each list, providing additional fic details, and informing us the title, author, or link of a fic, and their respective number in the comment section. Happy finding!

2.1 I’m not confident if it was in portuguese or english. Harry was an auror and Draco was an unspeakable and they were together on a mission were eventually they were captured into a sex traffic scheme. It was HEAVILY angsty and I think they were rescued by Rabastan Lestrange (i’m pretty sure it was him, but I think that it may be Rodolphus instead). It’s been YEARS since Iast read it but it made an impression.

2.2 Fairly sure that the fic was on ao3 and a wip but could be completely off the mark. The only thing I remember is that at Gringotts: the Potters’ will is read and specifically both Lucius Malfoy and Snape’s presence is requested; which is questioned by others present at the time of the reading. The Potters are aware that there is a connection between Harry and Draco - I’m guessing soulmate, mate if creature fic hence the request of Lucius. Possibly anti-Dumbledore but again not positive. fic is not ‘And The Forest Met The Sky’ by Silverhood, The Black Star by Aileen Dickinson, or Lord Thanatos by wonderfulWonderful 505

2.3 veela!Draco fic. Harry is draco’s mate and is extremely unhappy about it. Draco keeps his distance and nearly die because of it (veelas, in this universe, die if they are rejected), and Harry makes a unbreakable vow (i think that it is with narcisa) that he will at least try to be around. They eventually develop a relationship and Harry starts to search a new house for them, but Draco thinks that he is been cheated and die because of the perceived rejection. 2.4 could have been on Ao3 or Hexfiles. It’s Draco’s birthday. Harry’s pov. Draco is in love with him. They have been friends for some years (and secretly in love, even though it’s only revealed in the end that Harry fell in love too). Draco always dances with everybody at his birthday except Harry. Tonight they dance. At some point Blaise says to Harry something like he should let Draco go so he could be with someone. There are plenty of people interested in Draco. Harry is surprised someone has noticed something is going on between them. Harry is married to Ginny and has kids with her. He can’t leave her. His thing with Draco started many years ago at his birthday party, when they talked about the war in a rose garden. They suddenly kissed. My memory might be failing me here, but I think they started eating lunch together maybe every week. They became friends, but also coudn’t help falling in love. At the time of one Draco’s birthday party (in the past) Ginny was giving birth or just birthed her and Harry’s twins. Harry was at the party without her. The need between him and Draco got too strong and Harry gave him a blowjob in the bathroom. That was the only sexual encounter between them. In the end Harry maybe dashes out of the party and Draco follow and confronts him. Harry admits he didn’t fall in love alone. I’m not sure if it was a wip or oneshot. It was all angst and hurt with strong chemistry and longing.

2.5 Ron is toasting the happy couple, maybe at their engagement party or wedding. He’s giving affectionate anecdotes about Draco’s bad behavior at school. Like, “remember the time he challenged Harry to a duel in the forbidden forest and then didn’t show?” (Not the exact quote.)

2.6 probably (like 90% sure) on ao3, but I read it a long time ago so I can’t remember. The plot was basically Harry forced to be with Draco in marriage or partnership. Initially Draco was very abusive, but slowly warms up to Harry. Harry gets to know the reason behind Draco’s behaviours is Lucius’ child abuse. Draco has secret bondage dungeon. He also has a shrine of Harry. Harry gets pregnant. Lucius is the main villain here. Narcissa & Snape are also here, along with the Weasleys though the later don’t make much of an appearance. Snape is the one who supplied the pregnancy potion to Harry. In one scene Draco admires Ginny’s attitude thinking she would’ve been good for Harry. In another scene, Draco & Harry are having sex, and Draco is clutching Harry by his throat but Harry loving runs his fingers through Draco’s hair. When their child is born Lucius wants to take it away but the healer who helped deliver stands in the way. Earlier in the fic Draco forces Harry to take poly juice so he could fuck a girl. Lucius dies in a fire at the end. The fire is at Malfoy manor. Though I’m not sure, but I think they spent their Christmas at the Weasleys where Draco promises to gift something to Molly. The fic also had an Author’s note on how they’ve forgiven someone for doing something similar in real life, replying to comments on how Draco is abusive to Harry.

2.7 drarry little mermaid AU. It was a dark fic, based on the original little mermaid not the Disney version and it was dark and didn’t have a happy ending. I think Draco was an elf/fae rather than a mermaid

2.8 All I remember is that it was Draco/Astoria, Harry/Ginny. Before it becomes Drarry, it was 50 chapters, and complete, I clearly remember a tag that said everyone gets a happy ending except astoria in all lowercase letters.

2.9 What I remember of the fic is only one scene so bear with me, Draco and Harry are in relationship I think and Draco is also there when order members come to take him from privet drive. And he also attends Bill’s wedding but during the death eaters attack he gets caught and they take him away to the manor, Harry cries alot after that. I this is multi chaptered. In this fic Draco defected I guess and he attends the marriage and disguises like how Harry does, but he is revealed and he is taken to the manor. Harry is devastated and then he keeps seeing him through his connection with voldermort being tortured or something. They are already in relationship at this point. fic is not The Wrong Sort by CaffeinatedFlumadiddle

2.10 harry is getting married to Ginny and he’s sorting out all of the things for the wedding and one of them is the cake. Draco works or owns the bakery that Harry is getting the cake from and they both start to talk and get closer. That’s when Harry realises that he’s not ready to marry Ginny because a certain blonde has his heart. I’m sure Harry, when ever he’s in doubt or just bored he apparates to the bakery and dracos always holding the daily prophet to see what the saviour of the wizarding world is up to.

2.11 it was on ao3 and i read it a long time ago (i wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t exist any more) but what i remember from it was pretty intense bdsm experimentation (between harry and draco) and they both started developing feelings but weren’t saying anything and i recall them fkin around in an abandoned class room? one scene i remember vividly is harry getting triggered by something draco says or did but it had something to do with his trauma with the dursleys and he calls out the safe word for the first time (which was snitch).

2.12 I’m looking for this specific drarry texting story I read on YouTube over 3 years ago. I think that it’s no longer on YouTube, but I wanted to know if it was ever posted on any other social media. The story goes like - Ron gives Harry the password to use the prefect bathroom where Harry stumbles upon Draco. Draco ends up doing some spells with the water (like a water snake like thing) and it fascinated Harry but Draco doesn’t really indulge in the conversation. When Harry tries to leave, Draco cages him and they end up having sex.

2.13 fic on ao3 where its set in 8th year and harry and draco are still fucked up meet up to (or just end up) fight(ing) a lot and one time harry takes it a bit too far and punches draco in the stomach, and draco throws up blood? And harry has to call madame pomphrey i believe. I dont think it was a particularly long fic but thats all i can remember.

2.14 harry and draco are twins but (i think) they were separated and then they got together like finding out they are twins and also dating lmao and okay then?? they became like rulers of the wizard world by making treaties and stuff w creatures and all that

Happy Heavenly Birthday to Valerie Patrice Vaughn born September 26, 1977.

She passed away 1/16/23 due to cancer per Vaughn's family and friends. There is very little detail about Valerie's life. She was remembered as a sweet, kind, fun loving, and honest woman with deep humility.

Valerie was Aaliyah's best friend (since 1st grade) and normally kept her personally life private.

When CosmoGIRL! October/November 1999 Issue interviewed Aaliyah, they asked who does she hang with, Aaliyah responded:

A: I have two friends I’d say are my best friends - [Tommy Jeans model] Kidada Jones and Valerie Vaughn, who I’ve been friends with since first grade. I’m a homebody, so I’ll go to K's house and just hang out and watch movies and bake cookies. If nothing else, Gryffindor knew how to throw a party.

The twenty-seventh of March brought platters of ham, cheese, and pickle relish sandwiches, an enchanted record player, and clinks of Witch’s Brew bottles to the common room.

Remus had set an informal—yet persuasive—early curfew for the younger students. He chased the last of them out before the hands on the mantle touched eight; the party was at full bore by nine, and by ten James was firmly on his way to sloshed.

“Hab birthday, mate.” A drunk hand clapped him on the shoulder. It belonged to Julius Burton in the year above him. James hadn’t had much interaction with him beyond these types of gatherings, where Julius usually ended up asleep under the coffee table.

“Thanks,” James said, and he was offered another drink.

He took it. Swigged it. Shuddered. The alcohol set his throat aglow and spun the room—alive with bodies and music.

“Oi, Prongsy-poo.” Sirius appeared at his shoulder.

“Pads! I was about to send a search party,” James jibed. Swig.

“Just had to take Wormy up for a spew; those stairs are a mare.”

They both regarded Peter for a moment. He was teetering on the back of an armchair, his father’s blue tie—‘borrowed’ three years ago and never returned—up around his forehead. Remus, whose feet were on the floor, was failing to talk him out of crowd surfing.

Sirius sent Peter two thumbs up. James took a swig.

On the makeshift dance floor, a crowd was dancing and singing along badly to the Seven Sons of Zeus LP. Lily hovered at the frayed edges of the mob, left hand clutching her goblet.

Swig. “Be right back, Pads.”

James made his way towards her, dodging the odd flailing limb.

Her eyes caught sight of him and she smiled hello. “Potter. Fancy seeing you here.”

“Hi—er—Evans. You think?”

The engorged painting of James’ face stared at them from the ceiling ironically.

She laughed. “Good party.”

“Thank you, I mean the boys pretty much organised it, so…” he trailed off.

Lily smiled, lifting her goblet a little closer to her painted lips, eyeing the crowd in front.

Swig.

“Happy birthday, by the way.” She broke the stalemate.

James had felt like a broken record stuck in a loop all day. Thank you, thank you, thank you. His furry mind couldn’t think of anything better to say. “Thank you.”

“Yooou’re welcome.”

James now noticed her slurred speech and slow-blinking eyes. Her rosy complexion, and her goblet that would spill any second, staining the carpet with purple.

She was standing quite close to him. Closer than normal; close enough for his heart to flutter, his cheeks to rouge, and—

“Lily.” Mary popped up in front of them. “Hi—Potter, happy birthday—Lily, I need you this instant.”

“MacDonald.” James tipped his goblet at her in acknowledgement. “See you ‘round,” he said to Lily.

“See you—” she managed to get out before she disappeared into the crowd, Mary dragging her by her elbow.

“Now that—” Remus, who had shown up Merlin-knows-when, made his presence known, “—was a spectacular fail to watch.”

“Glad you enjoyed the show,” James drawled. He took another swig, and the pair surrendered themselves to the party once more.

Leo was excited, probably more excited than his spawns. He was cooking up a storm in the kitchen, making all of the kids favorite foods. He was making an ice cream cake made of ice cream bars, whipped cream, chocolate chips and malt mix. It was his favorite thing for him when he was a small child and he knows the twins foam at the mouth for ice cream. Putting the cake back into the freezer he can’t stop smiling. He never thought anything of having kids until he and Ink started at the positive pregnancy test for a solid twenty minutes.

Now he couldn’t imagine his life without them, the kids were napping with his boyfriends and he took so many pictures it was probably what was causing his phone to tell him he’s out of storage. It was Olive and Logan on the bed the twins were occupying while staying with them, all starfished out and Logan was drooling with Olive was making the cutest little snoring noises. Ott and Finn had fallen asleep on the couch while Finn was reading to the little knucklehead. Book resting on their laps with Otto snuggled into Finn’s chest gripping his shirt.

How did he get so lucky?

Humming to the music in his one earphone so he didn't wake the chaos just yet, he heard the front door open. He looks up from where he was checking the sausages he was cooking. Waving silently and putting a finger to his lips signaled for Ink, June, Noelle and Thomas to be quiet. They were in charge of decorating, bright colors were the kids favorites. Olive has a heart for sports, literally any sport, while Otto is a sucker for drawing right now. That included on their white sweatshirts and walls.

So a coloring section was set up and all they could come up with for sports besides just going to the rink, which was closed due to updates to the frame, was WII games. Lame but so fun. She wanted to go rollerblading but the cat that is wandering around the apartment tells Leo she would try to bring home another animal.

After everything was set up and the apartment was full of hockey players in little party hats and anxious kids. They woke the chaos, and chaos was it. Olive was so shocked with all the people in the apartment she just turned around and closed the door behind her. After a few seconds she came back out and acted surprised causing a laugh from all the adults.

Otto was awoken by Finn laughing as twenty other kids climbed on top of him to wake them up. Otto smiled and flushed at all the attention. He got up and ran to Leo. Who picked him up and kissed his cheek.

“Happy Birthday Buddy” Otto buries his face into his neck still blushing hard. Especially when Celeste comes up and kisses both his cheeks. He has had a fascination with her since they first met at family skate.

“Kuny!” Olive sees her favorite person with his mouth full of pickles wrapped in prosciutto and basically tackles him to the ground while Nado and Ink laugh. They were discussing the new tattoo that Nado and Kuny want. Same but different.

Kuny hugs her and swallows the pickles before standing up and swinging her upside down like everyone knows she loves.

When it came to opening presents there were so many that Leo didn't know where they were all going to fit, besides in the third bedroom that isn’t ever used. When it came to Leo and Ink’s presents for the twins they were the very last ones.

Ink gave Otto her old sketchbook to draw in, all her old sketches were taken out, she also gave him a bunch of markers and told him they would be taken away if they found any marks on the walls. To Olive she gave her a brand new pair of roller skates. Bright green with black accents because Olive hasn’t stopped talking about Shego from Kim Possible.

Leo gave Otto a build-a-bear that was a lion and had the team saying they loved him, so he could take it to doctors appointments and anywhere else he wanted and he would always be loved. What they didn’t expect was for Otto to start crying, he was always a quiet little thing that kept to himself unless his social batter was on full. He also was really bad at controlling his emotions, but he is a small child so what do you expect. Otto sobbed into the lion and then looked at the team like they were the most amazing people in the world. Dumo held him while Ink talked to him softly and Leo gave Olive her give. Gymnastic lessons starting next week, they were in NOLA as the twins would be going back with Ink in two days. She squealed and hugged him while jumping up and down.

The rest of the night went smoothly… Until Marc and Otto started a food fight with the ice cream cake.

July 31st 2021

5 years old. They were past the terrible twos and the terrible threes. The kids were in school and their mother and her wife had moved into a cottage outside of Gryff. Finn was out with the kids trying to distract them in a candy shop while the cottage was being filled with people and food.

Everyone was frantically trying to set up for the surprise, everything from the blow up obstacle course and the ball pit, to the video games in the basement. The music was playing from the bluetooth speakers all over the house, they were going through a country music faze much to the dismay of most of the team.

Otto also hasn’t stopped wearing Leo’s old cowboy hat for at least a month.

It was time, they heard Finn’s car rolling up the driveway and everyone froze, scrambling to their horrible hiding spots, everyone waited for the double troubles to walk in. The minutes ticked by getting more and more uncomfortable. The front door swung open and Finn fell down face first into the ground with two back pack sized bags of candy on his back. He groans, the twins rush in and scream that they are home at the top of their lungs. When no one answers they narrow their eyes. Looking at each other for a moment using their twin talk through their brains, they immediately start searching the house.

Once they find the first person, Remus who sneezed from behind the couch everyone jumps out and surprises them. They scream and cling to Remus who can’t stop laughing. When he stands up the kids are still clinging to him, he isn’t even holding them, they are just gripping him that tightly.

Finn eventually gets help standing up and looks exhausted, Leo showers him in kisses and Logan hugs him tight enough to pop his back.

As per usual Ink And Leo are the last to give gifts.

Ink hands them both piercing vouchers at her shop, ever since Logan and Sirius got their ears pierced they wanted to do the same. Otto just wanted one while Olive wanted both. They were hopping around so excited already planning to get them done tomorrow. Ink smiles and leans back into June, as the kids run around them.

Leo straight up just gave them new skates since they have outgrown their others. Olive is the most excited because she has been watching Kuny and Logan like a hawk on the ice, she is learning how to fight and skate aggressively which is slightly worrying for a five year old. But she can hold her own against stupid people who like to tell her she is a girl and can’t do boy things.

They have had to pull her away from a couple people. She started therapy a week later.

The rest of the night went smoothly and to make this a great night, Ink let the kids pick where they wanted to stay. Otto chose Sirius and Remus while Olive , of course, chose Kuny and Nado.

July 31st 2022

They were at the rink this year for their sixth birthday, and boy were they tearing up the ice. They had mini pick up games with the kids (minus Otto). They had races and even limbo. It was nice and cool inside compared to the more warm but not hot compared to NOLA outside.

This was also the birthday when Otto told Leo he wanted to try figure skating. Leo smiled so big at him and nodded.

“I think that's a great idea.”

Otto was all smiles the rest of the day talking about the cool moves he saw on tv at the last winter olympics. He said he wanted to skate to fast music instead of the slow pretty music. He wanted to dance to hard rock and controversial music because he's a rebel.

Olive was still trying to decide if she wanted to be a winger or a defense player for hockey, but she loved hockey so much. She would watch any hockey game and would beg her dad to let her come to practice with him.

Finn and Logan found it amusing until she would get frustrated and start crying.

Their party because no one knew who their parents were yet. It put a damper on things a bit but the kids loved the team so they didn’t mind too much. Especially when Regulus showed up.

Since Reg and Leo were such good friends he would babysit the twins every once in a while and they all got on so well, almost like siblings. Olive would talk about anything and everything with him while Otto just cuddled up to him. Reg almost replaced Kun in Olive's eyes but she would never give him up. She would remind him every time she saw Kuny.

The rink was their presents from Leo this year.

Ink gave them plane tickets to come and visit her new shop opening up in New York with her. They always felt at home in the tattoo shop. There are literally pictures of one of the twins in a sling around Ink as she would tattoo when they were much younger.

July 31st 2023

The twins didn’t want a birthday party this year, yes they still loved the team, but they just wanted dinner with their family. Very mature for small children. They picked the food and helped make it while Logan and June set the table and Finn and Ink playfully argue about which tv show they should put on. Olive was mixing something in a bowl with Otto when the arguing stopped, they had landed on a really old episode of spongebob and agreed this is what they would watch. Logan and June just watched them lovingly.

“What’s on your mind, Sugarbug?” Leo noticed her staring at Finn and Ink with her think face on. She looks up at him and leaves Otto to finish mixing the mashed potatoes. She looks up at her dad.

“Why don’t we have a normal family? I went to my friend Sam’s house and they only had one mom and one dad.” Leo was obviously stunned for a moment, seeing Otto nod in agreement with Olive he leans against the counter. He knew he would have to have this conversation someday but he didn’t expect it when they were seven.

“We aren’t a normal family. We are interesting and fun, I mean how many kids do you think have five people to take care of them.” He smiles at them but only gets a slight shrug from Olive, Otto nods a little but not very committed. “We can talk about it more at bedtime, okay?” He pushed her hair behind her ear, she looks up at him with those giant blue eyes and he wonders if she get bullied because she can’t talk about her parents. “Let’s have a good time eating with just family. If I remember correctly there is an ice cream cake in the freezer.”

That perks them up. Once everything is made and settled they start to eat. Leo keeps an eye on the kids throughout the meal and sees them relax halfway through the meal. He needs to talk to Ink about how to explain their situation properly.

All the twins wanted for gifts there year was a night with just Ink and Leo… and a new monster truck toy that you control with a remote so they could run over all their Barbie's.
