this ask is actually very interesting!! i will try to give it a go ,, thank you for sending in the ask

way of doing the reading: I will do the reading based on tarot, not by analysing the birth charts. someone who has passion for astrology could be better at this than me, I do this for fun, not as a certain statement. the question I will ask is, “what astrological placement of (blank)’s future spouse show through the most? “. If someone is really good in astrology feel free to correct me if I say anything that could be incorrect.

Jin - Capricorn! The energy surrounding his FS is very loving, caring kind and supportive. Filled with warmth, but the first colour that comes through when thinking about this person is pastel green so that could be their main aura colour. Which would explain the compassionate, forgiving and healing energy that surrounds them. An extremely selfless person. Since their guides are leading me to focus on how his FS treats others I assume the Capricorn placement lays in their 3rd or 11th house. Mercury, Venus or Mars are also options here. I am not quite sure but my best guess is that they have multiple Capricorn placements and it shows through most in Mercury due to communication and in Mars due to action. [ queen of pentacles ]

Yoongi - Sagittarius! Now, his FS is the kind of person that burdens themselves with the problems of others. Making things harder for themselves, just so they can help others have a brighter future. They do also believe that because of this, sooner or later they will be rewarded in life even if they can’t immediately see this. Meaning, potentially believing in good karma. Their energy is rather sad and burdened, so this is a kind of person that works hard and swallows their problems for a better future, because they believe it’s the best. A person that is very hard on themselves, believes they should endure hardships rather than reach out. They can handle themselves though, they don’t enjoy being pitied. There’s just this potential of being too giving to the point they hurt themselves mentally. So because of this I believe that their placement is either in 11th or 12th house, although the later is more likely. Possibly in Mercury, but not necessarily. [ ten of wands ]

Hobi - Taurus and Capricorn! Now, I would like to point out that the card that fell out for Hoseok is associated with these two zodiac signs, to the best of my knowledge. I do think his future spouse is someone that is very unique, extraordinary if you will. I do not mean they are edgy, quirky or anything of the sort but rather they are unapologetically themselves without the desire for approval from anyone. They don’t copy anyone to be seen different by other people, rather they just allow themselves to be who they are. Due to this they will know exactly how to love him the way he is and in what way to respond to his different moods without making anything heavy or awkward. I truly do think they are soulmates as his future spouse has a very unapologetic way of loving him as well. Meaning they do it with their full heart, not caring about the opinion of other people and just doing what is best for the both of them. They know how to take care of him and they know he got their back as well. They could also be very successful in their field regardless of what their job is, so they are a hard worker who knows what they are doing. My best guess is Taurus in Venus and Capricorn somewhere in 8th house. [ king of pentacles ]

For those who are curious I asked whether he is polygamous or not and the six of cups fell out. I will not be assuming about his romantic life or preferences, however if you wish to you can form your own opinion on it.

Namjoon - Libra! I actually shuffled twice for this due to being unsure, and both times a Libra card fell out so I would say that’s a pretty strong confirmation. Now, his person is a very strong minded, honest and just person who always does their best to be level headed and fair in situations. A good human to the core, is what they aim to be. They have a really strong sense of personal morals and discipline that they make sure to follow even on their hardest days. A very self righteous person who just aims to better this world. Though, they are also very playful and can be emotional if things go differently from what they expected, where Namjoon comes into play and helps ground them. It’s a very interesting dynamic, they lack where the other excels at which just causes them to have more love for one another and want to help each other out in hard times. Also, the attraction between them is strong, Beyonce’s Dejavu is coming through strong as a sign so I thought it’s important to mention. This could be either in their Sun or Mars sign, but that’s just my guess. [ queen of swords]

Jimin - Scorpio! Now, I know that a lot of people think that Scorpio as a sign is a very mean and bad one to have anywhere in your placement but that is certainly not true. A lot of Scorpio people are very tender hearted and just want what is best for people, which his FS’ is not an expectation from. This person has a very good heart but could be misunderstood due to their looks as they could have sharper features or possibly a colder appearance. It’s the kind of scenario where you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, you know? ‘Looks like they could kill you, but is a cinnamon roll.’ No, but seriously. This person is a really gentle person and desires the world to be a better place, possibly could often cry over world events that do not affect them, not because they are sensitive but due to having so much empathy within their heart. Due to this being the person they are to their core I do think this is either their sun sign or 12th house energy. [ death ]

Taehyung - Pisces! Now, I would love to point out that his FS spouse is extremely loving and most important of all mature. They will have a family together for sure and this person is very much aware of to take care of everyone in the way they need it yet they still feel like they aren’t lacking in anything at all, rather even grateful for the things that they have. Also, their loyalty is very much so highlighted and this pure, raw and genuine love they have for Taehyung. I am not saying he would, but even if he were to hurt them they would forgive him without having any kind of hatred in their heart. The best way I can describe them is ‘saint’. The kind of person to not judge, let alone hold a grudge towards their loved ones or anybody else. They were put on this earth because they are made to love wholeheartedly, really. My best guess is their placement being in 7th or 4th house looking at the fact that family and a stable home is very important to them.

Jungkook - Leo! Their person has a very fiery energy, I think the tower at the bottom of the desk proves this as its related to Aries. This person is very calm, collected, rational, intelligent and friendly, but, they are not going to shy away from a fight if they need to be involved in one. Especially if it’s about their loved ones. Of course, they will stand up for themselves too, but if a person they love or adore is being hurt or disrespected the person provoking them better prepare for what’s coming next. They can use both their words and their fist, whatever is necessary tbh. I do not think they look for fights on purpose though, it’s just that they have quite a strong personality and their own way of dealing with things. They don’t mean harm. As previously said, they are quite friendly and laid back. Really playful as well. Could at times playfully bicker with Jungkook, which he would actually like, it could bring out his competitive side a little bit. Aiming to “win”, I do think it’s something he likes about them. This could sit in either their 11th or 10th house although I think 10th is more likely. Possibly their moon as well.

BROO ALL MY FAVORITE WRITERS ARE OPENING THE INBOX, CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY FR OK OK SO JJBA part 3 Stardust crusaders headcannons (I'm so original, I know) everyone lives au (bc if I simply close my eyes no one died on that journey, it DIDN'T HAPPEN) I like to think the crusaders and reader meet up again after like a year or two after the journey, and I just wanna see reactions of everyone seeing eachother again, the reader looking totally different (for the better!!) And all I can think about is just the shenanigans they'll all get up to after not seeing eachother for like two years. (They kept in touch via letters mostly!) I like to think Jotaro and Kakyoin actually see eachother everyday because Kak tranferred schools :') so they besties. Platonic crusaders give me so much serotonin. You can pick whatever theme you want on what they'd all do, (maybe Christmas themed since its getting close to that time?? Up to you though!!)

it had been over two years since you had seen the crusaders last, the only words spoken to each other through brief letters sent back and forth

you were expecting to only see jotaro and maybe kakyoin because the letter was from holly and only asked you to come over for a week

it was also perfect timing because it was right around christmas, so you had bought a bunch of gifts, not knowing who else would be there

you showed up to the house and were immediately greeted by holly and a big hug as she took the gifts from you, putting them under a small tree she had set up for the season

you and her ended up talking for a little while about what you had been up to and she told you that you looked fantastic!!

after a bit, you heard the door open and stood up to find not only jotaro at the door, but kakyoin as well!

you ran over to them and jumped in their arms

they both looked at you in shock, telling you how good you looked and you said the same

you thought it was nice that jotaro and kakyoin had each other after something like egypt because that was quite the experience

seeing them smiling together made you really happy

you handed them two presents that you thought they would like and they opened it rapidly with bright smiles on their faces thanking you

surprisingly, you guys dont talk about your travels to egypt, instead you all talk about what you're currently up to

and then suddenly, you hear a ring at the door

holly opens it and you werent even prepared for the attack of iggy jumping on you and giving you kisses all over your face. you giggled and hugged him, soon getting a small kiss on the cheek from polnareff, telling you how great you look

you sat up completely and saw all of the group and couldnt help but smile

everyone was here again

joseph was still the same

and polanreff had a bright look on his face, very happy to be surrounded by everyone again

he had been the most lonely only with iggy, so he's just super thrilled to be back

you gave everyone their corresponding presents and you even got some yourself

you ended up all having dinner and talking before you all worked hard to clean up together, splashing dish water on each other and using your stands to play tag or hide and seek

you all ended up staying up until midnight watching some really bad movie and all ending up in weird positions falling asleep in each other's arms

the rest of the week was great, walking all around jotaro's hometown and telling each other jokes

there were small mentions of your time in egypt, but for now, you were building a new future together <333

there’s going to be 2 piles and i’m using the ethereal visions illuminated tarot deck by matt hughes. ill do a little channeling first and then ill go into it more in depth

Pile 1

nights crying in bed hurt alone and scared of what's to come anxiety unconscious negativity underlying conditions revelations under attack eradicating karma you are on a path of chaos and you don't know where to go next at this crossroads you look out or in and not both and you cant see which is right logic or emotion the future or your past experience do you keep hope or dwell in the mud of despair that is holding you down only

you are having a hard time with balance. your past experiences hold you back immensely when new opportunities present themselves to you. your emotions are tied to the past. you understand the future can only present itself when you put yourself out into the world and explore it, but the thought of it makes you sick to your stomach. normally people have difficulty accessing the deep insides of themselves but not you. you in fact, may have been dwelling in this for far longer than needed, to the point where its hindering you. you look for the meaning in everything. you spend your mental energy trying to put together the puzzle that is your life when the pieces were never meant to fit. instead of looking for the right pieces, you try to finish with the wrong ones over and over. its time to step out of your hermit robe and bare yourself to the world. there will only be productive thought in hermit mode if you continue to take time to intake stimulation from the outside world. without stimulation, you will continue to process the same things over and over again. there is a new experience that has been offering itself to you, if you stay grounded in the present you may finally notice it :p and when you do, take that opportunity with open arms. i know you like being a hermit, so think of it as the faster you do this the faster you can go back :^) keep the wheel of fortune turning in your life, remember that stagnancy leads to death. aware or not, your actions during this time in your life are related to past life or generational karma. you may have opportunities or experiences that are healing on a soul level.

i strongly get that this pile is a person who would like to or already identifies as a witch. not only is the first word magic, which i admit is a little on the nose, both of these pictures happen to depict an individual holding a wand. the first thing you must be thinking is “i dont practice enough” or some variation of that. and its true, you dont really take control and take things into your hands. the thought of staying grounded and letting things come to you makes you feel not only powerful, but it makes you feel like it really MUST be for you if it came with no chase. but, there are some things that you NEED to chase if you want. some opportunities are just waiting for you to find them. you are powerful at manifestation with a strong energy of the magician, and i have a feeling you not only have heard that before you kind of scoff at it or dont take it seriously. this is because you havent actually used it :o youre like sure im so good but how would you really know? its funny because you do have parts inside you that want to believe but then your mask is so opposed to all things magical. you may call yourself or be interested in being a witch but then you also find it ridiculous and impractical. there are some who can practice witchcraft once in a blue moon and still feel and know they are a witch but you are definitely the type who would benefit emotionally from practicing on a more regular basis. some moon water every full moon would be a good start, because once you have it then you have to figure out what to do with it. you have more creativity about how you'd like to practice than you realize, and you'll only discover it if you start actively pursuing this. there may be something you immediately know you want to do or are interested in. or you may be dumbfounded with what to do. if this is the case, a spell you could start off with is writing or speaking an affirmation of something you desire a x number of times for x number of days. it could be as simple as writing i am confident 3 times a day for 3 days or if you want to put more effort you could write i am a radiant being full of confidence and inspiration 33 times a day for 33 days. the point is that you are actively working towards things consistently. it doesn't have to be grandiose, just consistent. magic is definitely calling to you, and you should follow it like a dog following a butterfly, or like alice with the rabbit. there's been enough foreplay between you guys already, gosh! get a room and solidify that bond already :p there was also an extremely heavy scorpio energy in this pile, so if you have any scorpio placements im calling you out rn. lastly idk why i got crushcrushcrush which makes me think of the paramore song so there might be something there for you or just confirmation.

ANYWAY

uhh these r all pretty much identity + nd hcs so sorry if u were lookin for more

(edit:wait actually im gonna sort this into two parts:: queer + nd headcanons and then like. backstory and personality hcs)

SONIC: adhd, used to hc him as bi ace but fuck it hes romance repulsed oriented aroace, also me likes the idea of him being genderqueer in some way, moreso specifically either transmasc nonbiney or transmasc trigender. also adhd (side note i heard someone sayhe couldnt possibly have adhd cuz "he can focus on missions" and. wjhat.) also maybe ptsd from thecountless traumatic experiences hess had to endure

AMY: sappho. i have also adhd'ed her in the past but im not so sure npw. i also saw someone hc her as bipolar and thas valid

TAILS: i know he can definitely represent as an autistic stereotypce but look at him :(( (but i genuinely think his backstory is sort of a metaphor for the nd experience. and also i think theres a lot of things that may make him autistic codedthough albeit many of them r stereotypical). special interest in engineering

KNUCKLES: bisexual as ffffff, though he doesnt give a shi abt labels

SONIC: something traumatic happened to him that made him scared of water in the first place, thas for sure methinks. he also just doesnt really show his negative emotions and he moreso just tries to 'dealw it' instead. i have headcanoned this for years as many others have and it appears to be somewhat canon in frontiers which is pretty great. he plays the electric guitar and is a pretty skilled singer and yeah. chilli dawgs r his comfort food....... loves rock electric and heavy metal and sometimes listens to it on his runs. pretty comfortable w being independent . also this is not a headcanon but i dont think his idw iteration is that out of character. he sees pretty much everyone (rivals and frenemiesalike) as friendos

AMY: has some form of abandonment issues which is what makes her as clingy as she is. generally used to feel left out and misunderstood from sonic n others in games like adventure and adventure2 but their relationshipsget better. listen. listen i heard someone on tumblr hc amy having abandonment issues and it hasnt left my miind since. she used to feel embarrassed by herself and her personality but became much more expressive of herself as time went on bc she starrted feeling more accepted. DEFINITELY writes fanfiction and fancomics and draws fanart and likes theatre(this is canoon actually). has meetings w the girlsTM where she just reads their fortune n everything. she also said in one game that she aspires to BE LIKE sonic and i have hcs abt that as well. can b mischievious and sneaky. has a tarot card reading BUSINESS this girl earns money for this !! shes very magiical girl bc she can pull her hammer out there, tell the future, turn invisible, has a 'sonic snese' but this is not a headcanon this is canon. plays the violin. loves to create fun outfits. into knitting and crocheting. . yeah i have more

TAILS: he can get pretty insecure of himself at times, heholds high expactations of himself and feels like if he doesnt meet them he might as well be a failure. ooopslol. he also hates when ppl misinterperets who he is as a person and when they undermine how skilled he is. he sometimes doesnt really let others know how he feels and hides it w a positive attitude. his gizmo is his comfort item. sonic was his first friend. the reason why he acted cocky in lost world and constantly pointed out how they shouldnt trust eggman (although it was super ooc) is bc of how insecure he was and he felt like sonic didnt trust himenough. and he feels bad abt it. hm. he also likes to draw sometimes and is generally skilled and precise, partly bc he has to draw blueprints for his creeations. one of them orphans. wags his tails/unintentionally starts flying when hes excited (stimming woag). hes not really SCARED of thunderstorms but they ARE a sensory nightmare for hiim (loud, bright/0). sonic sort of 'taught him how to make friends'. he still has cosmo in the form of a plant inside his house. he has many bunkers/ Sometimes he has a hard time accepting help (inherited from his older brotherlol). his tails are an nd allegoryOK ILL SHUT UP NOW

KNUCLES: icoud rambllea lot about him whenever im in the mood especially when i seeppl misinterperet him but i dont really have much HEADcanons bc everything i say abt him is canon

STICKS: ok this is gonna sound wild and its definitely not original but. she has abandonment/truusst issues relatedto her former parents that have something to do w the government which is one of the reasons she became so hateful of th egovenrment. dont ask (actually do if you want to). generally feels free to be herself but there are times when she feels ashamed of her wild side ig you couldcall it. very creative.

the reason why theres not shadow even though hes one of the more popular ones is bc im just not obsessed w him at the moment sorry :(

bur im wondering if you agree, in general, with the tarotheaven site's opinion on the Hierophant as feelings for someone :

"If you are inquiring into a future lover or want to know what your love interest feels for you, the Hierophant can sometimes lead to disappointment. It depends on the context of who you are asking about. If you are asking about a relationship that you know cannot work within the realm of societal standards, then the relationship will not flourish. For instance, if you are asking if your professor has feelings for you because you can feel the chemistry, know that your professor most likely does have feelings for you, but will never act on them because he or she will not break the societal rules of teachers dating students."

i dont really see the professor "most likely" has feelings bc i dont see the Hierophant romantically but maybe my mind is too closed

It's really not my job to agree or disagree with other tarot readers like this. I mean it would be disrespectful of me to start nitpicking here.

It's up to you, as a consumer of the content, to decide whether you agree with the author or not.

I personally don't like asking cards about how other people feel about me. If those are people who are actually present in my life, have any role in it (parent, friend, teacher, co-worker, etc.) I can ask them. If those are people who are not present in my life (celebrities), their opinions on me don't matter and they probably have none when they don't know me 😂

Once again, Hierophant card can mean a million different things. I would prefer to pull more than just one card and see the context and bigger picture, to be honest. Pulling just one card works for easy questions about yourself (what's my vibe today, how can I motivate myself, what's my current libido like, etc.) or for games for fun. If I'm asking about more complex issue, I would really pull more cards. The interpretation will vary for each person because everyone is different.

I'm sorry, I probably didn't answer in a way that's beneficial.

Hello, its me, actually 1 whole month of 2024 just passed quickly in the flash of an eye cause i was busy working as an intern. The next few days coming will be chinese new year soon, and finally tomorrow i will be able to go to work for half a day, and apparently i need to see my big boss who had hired me, i hope it is nothing bad as i do not know what is he finding me for, hope it is not any scoldings. I think recently my emotions has been all over the place, and i am not motivated enough to go and work , i do not know why too. Today i ate a big fish and chips and tater toes, feeling like a extreme fat fuck right now, but i realised that i was hungry and starving that i was angry. I realised that everytime i want to lose weight , my emotions are easily blurred? Like i get angrily as more than usual. And recently i have been facing a lot of screen time on my computer or phone, and honestly i want to get away with it like i don't want to stare at my screen so much and want to actually interact with more people which might be healthier for my mind and body too. Think i should be more interactive with my work mates LOL and stop focusing on the hustling life as much too. And know that doing nothing in life currently is also okay, like okay to take a break, ok to not follow schedule once in awhile. But of course, need to get to work tomorrow no matter what. But yes it is okay to take a break and do nothing once in awhile. But also i realise that basically the less stressed i am, the more productive i will be, so i should focus and keep that in my motto. Basically to stay present and less screen time. And also start exercising maybe i will feel better, go for more site walks also. My goals will always be there, but i just need sometime to wind down and relax by myself too, not always on the gogo too. If not i will not have anytime for myself to chill. I think for now i will focus on relaxing first for like a couple of days then getting back to that horse to finish my goals. Like 4 to 5 days ish? Taking as much alone time as i need to. I have been chasing goals after goals and that was how i function, but when did i ever take relaxing as a goal? Basically right now whatever I am doing is ok, i don't have to worry about anything, think I want to do things unrelated to screen time cause my eyes are tired of staring at the screen, and maybe socialize a bit more. Money will always come, and i think i want to stop staring at my bazi so much and let it naturally come and let life really unfold into my eyes, basically to go with the flow, and tarot cards are just repeating like a song man, like whatever they say is repeating, i think i should be natural and go with the flow of things. And furthermore, they said that my luck for this year will be bad, and i honestly dont want to believe that, as i always believe in hardwork and having luck in ur hands and creating the future i want. No matter what, i will turn bad things to good things, challenging me? I will always win. In the future, i would also like to travel to france and italy europe, and alsaka. I am going to be 24, it is not any younger, yes the rat race to earning alot is here but i need to be focused on what i can do to earn as much too, i want to own a car, rent a place and have a cat. I will be fine, focus on now and present i will be fine. Take a break first then continue later on. Dont worry jenny u are who u are , who u want to be. I can confirm, they introduced themselves as 3 readers and they made a post how Bee is leaving and starting their own channel. They even made a post to support it and linked the blog, that's how I knew of the Bee drama. But yknow whatever. But they shouldn't demonize those poor future apouses lmao, it's not gonna be them, or any of us.

But the drama on tumblr is kinda mild conpared to Youtube "readers". At least the readers here on tumblr try to hide the fact, that they're describing themselves very well but yoooooooo.... Youtube readers are a different breed. Most of them are super young (12-13, but there are a handful of readers old enough to fucking know better) and just straight up describe themselves with no shame. I even found some who put pics of themselves lmao. Me and my friends like to go through readings and bet, who is describing themselves as a spouse. There is one reader who has over 30+ vids on Mrs. J, and most readings are like over 20 mins long. How much is there to know about a person, that doesn't exist yet??? But most YT readers are obssessed with the fact, that Mrs. J is from India, what a coincidence that the reader is also from India lmao. I'm not saying BTS wouldn't ever date someone from that country, I'm saying it's impossible to get a specific country, age, height, religion etc from tarot cards. The pics on the cards might give you clues and the cards can say that the person is different from you, but they go into way too much detail. And it's funny because they're always soooo specific for Jungkook and V, but for the other ones....crickets🦗 On one hand it's so sad bc you have these little girls, putting out their private info, looks and secrets for the whole world to see (these vids have thousands of views) and they don't really grasp the consequences of their actions bc yknow, their just children. The internet never forgets. But on the other hand, you have these grown women who, like I said, should know better than these little girls. Not only do they get so defensive if you don't 100% allign with what they said, they are borderline so obsessed of the idea of being a spouse. Like tf??? Bts aren't Gods. They're very attractive celebs, who's purpose is to entertain people with their contents and music (hence the word idol & entertainer), while they do feed into that perfect bf material scheme, it's up to the fan to not actually develop real romantic feelings (a celeb crush and being a stan is something very different). Most are actually fans for very superficial reasons, they just find them attractive, not the music. And if you take the glitz and glamour of fame and money away, Bts are regular human beings, with flaws and issues. Like. The. Rest. Of. Us. They only show you the best side of them, because it's part of the whole idol package. We truly do not know these people, no matter how sincere or authentic they appear on camera. Like so so many were suprised that they wanted to disband a few years ago, bc they couldn't handle the pressure. These readers always believe if they meet/marry them, their life is going to be better and they feel alive again or smth. Most of these readers actually need therapy, I don't mean that in a condescending way. They imagine that their spouse, a celeb they've never met, will be their sole reason for their happiness and only then they are able to fix their issues and unhappiness. That reeks of co-dependency. And even if they'd become couple and be public, then what? A really big big chunk of Armys are actually in love with Bts, no matter if they even know tarot or not (Armys usually claim that only 2% of the fandom are delulus but that's definetly not true🥴). You'd get send d*eath threats, be harrassed, get doxxed, be hated for all eternity, even if you'd decided to break up. Look what happend with Jk and the tattoo artist he only hugged. She lost her job bc Armys were reporting her, some were trashing her workplace, she got threats, her friends got harassed and doxxed and she lost a friend (Jk). Not only that, but people would legit stalk you and try to hurt you, if you were a romatic partner of Bts. Then you also have the tarot side, who'd try to curse youa nd paint you as the evil demon, who is toxic to member xyz. And I don't think you'd want to spend your entire life locked in your house. And I personally could never deal with like millions of haters, no matter how hot my partner is.

To the anon who encouraged us to not give up, thank you so much.. I literally just thought of "what if I can't achieve my career, what If can't become who I want to be."

I know Tarot kind of contradicts the Law of Assumption (which is why I'm leaving it behind now, and I'm becoming more focused on how I do have control over my fate and reality) But Tarot reads more of energy, and its not set in stone.

Last night I got a reading about my future career that I wouldn't be in my desired position, and I gave feedback saying well I'd appreciate it if I was in a leadership position since I like leading others in a good way. I'll admit I may have sounded too "proud" which is my ego that I'm aware of. The person replied and said I may be better under someone's control because I get too focused on one area instead of seeing the big picture. I agreed with it, because it was true. I do tend to do that, and I also admit I have a big ego which is something I'm trying to balance. Before you judge the reader or me, I really did appreciate the criticism. It made me more aware of what I could focus on. Plus I know energies aren't set in stone and are always changing.

This did get me thinking of "what if I really can't achieve my career".. "what if I'm too egoistic? What if I'm too childish and can't keep my cool?" I was concerned. Then I saw this and anon telling us to not give up. You can achieve anything, since the future does not exist. Only the present exists. The reason why we think the future exists is because of thoughts and assumptions. The past does not exist, if we didn't have memories, the past would not exist. This is why revision works, it's because we can trick our subconscious mind.

I'm gonna stop here before the post gets too long, it was supposed to be more of an appreciation post. Thank you.

tbh, something you said relates to something ive thought about and so i’ll say it here. but its ultimately unrelated to the point of your ask. and i know you already said youre leaving tarot behind, so this truly isnt directed at you. its just my general thoughts lately and you brought the subject up on my blog so why not share :)

when it comes to tarot, astrology, and all those other tools i actually think its imperative to let them go. i fully get how people tend to hide under the guise of, “well its just reflecting ME” (its the truth, so yes its entirely fair to say) and i even used to say that too so i didnt step on toes. when it comes to knowing in relation to the law, we often say we know things, but we only get it intellectually. we dont know it to be true on a feeling level, and that makes all the difference.

until you have ACTUALLY fully taken understanding that you are the only cause and only ever will be the only cause of your experiences, theres no point to keep relying on those tools in that way. if youre living in the end why would you check to see what the cards or stars have to say about your “current” condition ? as far as im concerned you should already know your current condition — youre in the state of the wish fulfilled and youre staying faithful to it. through your loyalty, it hardens into fact. that is your confirmation, that is your “check in” of where you’re headed. youve already seen it in your mind’s eye.

what happens is we dont let those things go (we dont buy the pearl) and on a level we keep second causes alive. its a subtle level but its there regardless. we keep giving our power away, even if its subtle. neville said you have to die to the old story completely — what are we doing keeping the old story alive ? we used to love those “tools” because it was a second cause that gave us hope or direction, no ? what do we actually get in contuining to turn to them, when we only need to turn within for answers ?

now if you truly enjoy those things, return to them when you have bought the pearl and feel stable in your belief that you are the one and only creator. then go have fun with those things, knowing how they truly dont mean anything at all.

from my experience, and thats the only experience i can truly speak of, is that understanding your role as being the ONLY cause of your reallty is imperative to this journey. when you want to stop manifesting things here and there, and want to manifest a beautiful lifestyle effortlessly… you will buy the pearl and fully step into your power.

Maybe a weird question but like. If you migrate splat bio stuff to your kirby au, I'm assuming you'll be keeping the incidence of magic on Splat Bio Earth to a minimum but like. What are the odds that would give some accuracy to stuff like tarot readings?

Mind you this is coming from a person that super does not put any stock into divination in real life and doesnt like the idea of the future being predetermined and etc etc. I’m also not gonna say anything for Specifically One Practice because who the fuck am I and also I will never understand tarot specifically

Whether or not it works, various forms of divination definitely exist anywhere sapient people do. People just like this shit. I think SOME forms will actually have factual merit, but I think it’s limited.

Anything claiming to read the future does not work. The future has not happened yet. You can’t find something that doesn’t exist. People still believe and try these anyway, because people like having a sense of guidance and clarity about the uncertain future. Reading the past is... Kinda iffier. If an event was sufficiently magical it can sometimes leave some residual information for some time afterwards which can be used to interpret what happened but you’re unlikely to be able to do that with cards and stuff. You’re actually more likely to find a ghost who may or may not have enough presence of mind to tell you stuff rather than just... ambient data still floating around. And real ghosts are reasonably rare.

I’m pretty iffy on how common it would be to be able to read minds. Consensual “telepathy” and one-way projection can definitely be achieved, but I’m not sure about being able to forcibly take a peek. I bring this up bc I considered the possibility of mages discreetly using mind-reading spells as a form of hot reading but I super. Don’t want that to be a common/easily achievable thing can you imagine the nightmare. Anyways either way I don’t think anyone on splat Earth can do this

Magic CAN be used to locate physical things. All objects have some magic, even if it’s super minimal (like most things on Earth that predates the human apocalypse), and working divination rituals use this magic signature to attempt to locate the desired target. The chance for success depends on how strong of a magic signature the target has and how far away it is. This form of divination probably would not have worked on Earth in the Anthropocene, but it could definitely work in the Mollusk Era. It’s not an easy thing to pull off for a search radius too much bigger than a couple of rooms though. People who can pull off wider searches make fucking BANK anywhere in the galaxy. That being said there are plenty of divination traditions that try to do this and don’t actually work on a factual level but people still believe in anyway, because once again People Like This Shit. On Splat Earth, I think you’d be most likely to succeed in locating living things, while finding objects that predate the Anthropocene extinction (human artifacts, fossils, rocks etc) would be very difficult.

As for the fax machine i completely forgot that thing existed. That might work good though, good eye! I think I forgot about the fax machine because I didn’t know what to do with it, but now I have a Direction to start throwing spaghetti at. Thank you!

(past) KING OF SWORDS - fun fact! this is the card that my tarot card tosses out as a shorthand for dream's best self. for the deck i use, it means "clear thinking and clear communication. confidence. logical reasoning." if this is the card for the past, i'd take this and say dreamhangout used to be a place for him to be more himself, confident, open and assured.

(present) THE MOON + THE HERMIT - "[The Moon is] a card of rest, retreat, anticipation, preparation, dreams." dreams pun aside, my deck's Moon card means setting up for someting; means backing up behind the curtain. dreamhangout was deactivated for no stated reason, but we got a second priv fairly soon afterwards - and i always pull The Hermit ("meditation, solitude, inner guidance.") when dream's planning something that he can't do yet. but what something... then again. knowing dream's idea of a "break." ... 8 hours is not that.

dream isn't shy about mass deleting posts. if he wanted the url saved, he'd clean it and save the url. he WOULD go that distance. but if hangout is intact, he wants hangout intact. why?

Well okay here's the thing, witchcraft is really up to how you want to practice. Heres a few things to know if you're a white witch,

Stay out of closed practices, this means don't talk with their deities, don't yse their practices or terms.

You are not Smudging. You are smoke cleansing.

Saying "oh this shirt is my spirit animal" can be taken as cultural appropriation. Though many cultures do have spirit animals or totems if you're apart of those cultures. If you're nit then please be respectful.

Familiars are not pets. Your pet can however sense your magical practices just like they can sense ghosts and other things that humans cant. Familiars are spirits that iften take the form of an animal.

Witches are not evil nor good. Magic is neither evil or good unless intentions are set and even then, what you consider wrong may be right to someone else.

Mind your business.

Tarot is really overhyped as a tool for seeing into the future but should be used as advice because the future changes.

Pendulums depending on who you ask are either moved by energy or spirits, you decide.

Oracle cards can be used to talk with angels or spirits. (I use them to talk with angels/the universe)

Witchcraft is NOT wiccan. In fact its not any Religion.

You can be a non religious witch

You can be a religious witch (some people have criticism against certain religious witches though, like Christian witches.)

As long as you're respectful and you're practicing in an open culture (Norse, Greek, Egyptian, Celtic etc) you may work/worship deities.

(IMO) working with a deity means you are not devoted to them (you should still leave offerings though) and worshipping means you are devoted to them.

If you disagree with someones way of practice simply because thats not your way of doing things just keep your opinions to yourself unless you're being respectful and trying to see things from their side.

Discussing paths is actually good! Just be respectful and keep an open mind.

Intent is great and very important but I highly recommend tools that will boost your intent while doing spells. Candles, crystals, herbs, colors, sigils the whole 9 yards if you can. If you cant then even just a piece of paper, a pencil and a sigil.

farmer! he’d just keep living the way he’d been living. it’s the sort of life he imagines he’ll return to one day, after he’s seen and done enough. ‘enough’ is a really arbitrary end goal though

Who in the party would your character trust the most with their life?

who in the party wouldn’t he trust with his life tbh. in the most literal sense he’d trust Eli with it just because he knows Eli can bring him back from dying in some stupid and ill-advised way

What are your character’s core moral beliefs?

frogs are good, try to be nice to people but if they’re mean to you first then at least a few bets are off, the rich should probably be eaten. killing is sometimes necessary but maybe try some other stuff first

What relationship does your character have with their parents and siblings?

he doesn’t have any siblings, and his relationship with his mom and recently present dad is. a little weird, and not all the way comfortable, and not like really bad, but just confusing? it’s confusing. at least he’s had more transparency from his mom recently than just about any other time. it’s a start

Does your character have any biases for or against certain races?

he trusts other tieflings a little quicker than other races but its not really saying much because he’s not smart and if you’re good at talking and sound like you know what you’re talking about he’ll just believe you. he doesn’t have the good sense to second think it without prompting

What is your character’s opinion on nobility? On authority?

so far just about every interaction with nobility has been messy or bad or scary or all three so right now the opinion is “not great”. also thats just too much money. whaddahell would you do with that much money. he’s generally uneasy with authority figures at best, and flat out paralyzed by them at worst. he’s easy to bully when he doesn’t have anyone backing him up and he knows and hates it

Describe your character’s current appearance: clothes, armor, scars they’ve picked up along the journey, etc.

he cycles through an assortment of sweaters but the one he wears the most is the heart sweater he got in Wunjo that’s been altered a few times in the last few months. he do keep collecting those scars tho, before starting adventuring he had a handful of minor scars just from working around the farm with the animals and the equipment and from romping around in the country. now he’s got all sorts, but the most prominent ones are: the thin scar on the left side of his face, starting just below the eyebrow and curving gently below his eye (the last time Leo would leave a mark on him); the twisted angry scars across his torso from being mauled by a giant undead horse(?); and the fluid, patterned necromancy scars slowly spreading across his back, creeping along inch by inch

What location encountered in the campaign has your character felt the most “at home” in, or just generally liked the most?

besides his own house, Roman’s house has been the nicest! its warm and theres soup and friends there. there was a run down little ranch house somewhere at some point, but he’s not so sure anymore that he didn’t just dream about fixing the place up with his best friend

What deity, if any, does your character worship? What’s their opinion on other people’s worship?

he doesn’t have a god he actively worships, but he’s peripherally aware of the god in the mountains that’s responsible for some of the most brutal storms in the region. he doesn’t care much about religion but hes got the same amount of concern most people would have about evil deities and what their followers do

If your character had time to pick up any artisan’s tools, game set, instrument, etc., what would it be?

probably woodworking! its handy, it’s useful for living out in the country where you have to either make the tools or furniture or fun items to put on a shelf you want, or go out of your way and also spend money to get them. maybe an actual alchemy set and/or poison kit but 1) playing with poison just a fun hobby for him and Xan to get into when they have the time and the plants for it, and 2) man he wouldnt follow the instruction manual anyway so whats the point

What aspect of your character’s future are they most curious about? (If they could know one thing about the future, what would it be?)

will his friends be okay? will he be okay? is there an FAQ for tieflings learning that they’re much closer to fiend lineage than they originally thought? that would be convenient and helpful. is john gonna figure out more about the little men named ‘adam’ that’re allegedly everywhere? if he could know one thing about the future, he’d like to know if everything will end out okay. if things will turn out as nice as he’d like them to.

What colors are associated with your character?

looks at the camera like im on the office

blue, white, and black are the big ones but im trying to pepper in a few other colors. reds and yellows are a close second

Who in the party would your character prioritize rescuing, in dire circumstances?

everyone sits squarely in the #1 spot on the rescue list

that aside john and roman are extremely high priority, they’re not the sturdiest and if something looked at them too hard they might keel over. baster and xan come next, he knows baster’s a shit brick house but he keeps seeing bad things happen to her and really hes just had Enough of it. eli’s a little lower priority because they can heal themselves if they’re in a tight spot, and then blu considers himself least concern. he knows he can get thrashed around some and still survive, he’d rather take a beating and know he’ll walk out of it than let someone else take it and wind up dead

Is your character the most swayed by ethos, pathos, or logos?

pathos, it’s easy to make him feel for u. legit any of them work though as long as you talk it up good enough he’ll believe you and if there aren’t any glaring conflicts between what you’re selling him and his base morals then it’s relatively easy to get him on board

If your character was granted a single use of Wish, what would they use it for?

idk probably something really simple that he put all of .5 of a second of thought into. hes not smart and doesnt have good foresight so he’d probably ask for a frog or smth unless there was something very much more pressing and present

What is your character’s favorite spell? If they don’t use spells: what is their favorite personal weapon/combat maneuver/skill/etc.?

favorite(?) spell is life transference. it hurts a bit but it keeps his friends safe so it’s worth it. invisibility is up there too, its fun and easy to steal from stores when ur not visible

How does your character feel about keeping secrets from the rest of the party?

all sorts....bro the world is full of animals and lots of them like to be pet

he thought he’d grow up and be a farmer like his mom, the adventuring thing was extremely unplanned and impromptu. he hoped he could be a kind and brave person though, the way Canna described his dad.

random roll says it’s Roman, he’d probably laugh because the only reason that would happen is because the party is fooling around with potions again. Roman’s very married and very in love with his husband and makes sure everyone knows it all the time

that doesn’t seem like a very viable circumstance, the only npc thats important enough that he’d listen to for something like that is his mom and she actively encourages him to take care of himself and his friends, and lets him make his own decisions about what he’s doing with his life, so

idk if its all that unusual of a talent but he got really good at stealing and pickpocketing and he can do a sick flip. also does some black magic sometimes

it’s his name, u kno. bluebell is his middle name, but Canna called him bluebell growing up and he latched onto it a lot more than arden, and he thinks its a nice name, and a nice flower, and it sure would be nice if people would stop laughing when he introduces himself as “Blu”,

(blu was originally a stand-in name until i named him something else but it really grew on me and it fit him so! it didnt change, he just got other names too)

he’s def scared of magic sometimes, especially his own. he also really wants to understand it better though, and be less scared, or at least control it better. imo it’s a healthy fear, theres been lots of magic mishaps

How did your character learn the languages that they speak?

he learned common and infernal from mom! and he’s learning draconic from xan. it’s a nice downtime activity, sit down with ur best friend and homie and learn a new language just for fun

Why You Love Them- He's a fun sassy boy but also can be very loving and knowledgeable. He has layers to him and it's fun to delve past his taunting jackass know it all facade he puts up.

History-he comes from an au called Fortunetale. Monsters from his au practiced many mystical abilities such as fortune telling (which was most common), scrying and other things. Tarot was known as the best seer of their race due to his predictions always coming true. He and scry's father passed away when they were young and were cared for by their Asgore. Tarot's race were nomads and traveled often. But humans from a nearby City they stayed near for awhile grew angry that the monsters didn't give their services for free. So they imprisoned them in a barrier. (Petty I know) one day years upon years later, a human offered the king a deal. Hand over the race's best seer and everyone else could go free. Tarot was chosen and ripped from his brother. The humans imprisoned him and enslaved him for his abilities. chained him up in a dungeon. and put him through all kinds of abuse till he almost went mad. He heard his father's voice one day instructing him to pour his magic into his card deck, saying it was special and for only him. Doing as he was told when the humans brought him his deck he broke free using his new abilities and escaped into the multiverses. He lost the powers of blue magic, bones and blasters and only has the card magic

Full personality- there is two sides to tarot. His facade that he puts up in defense to his past. he acts like a sassy know it all jackass who likes to tease and taunt to see People's reactions but also acts very flirty. He has an ego as fake as Donald Trump's tan. He's really a fearful skeleton who feels he's never good enough for someone to actually love. His au is still alive and kicking, as is his brother but he feels he can't go there out of shame. He is honestly is very sweet and very attention and touch starved. He LOVES cuddles and kisses.

Fun fact- has a lovely singing voice and can play ocarina, piano and guitar
