Official post time lovelies!

Togachako Week Themes:

Day 1, October 1st: Role Reversal. What if Toga was a hero and Uraraka was a villian? Or if Uraraka was the one with an obsession? Or even simply reverse their quirks or economic backgrounds! Or something else!

Day 2, October 2nd: Fantasy AU. Could be the classic MHA fantasy au or one of your own. Fantasy could be the dnd like setting, magical like witches, mythical creatures like mermaids or dragons or fairies, possibilities are far and wide!

Day 3, October 3rd: Enemies to Lovers. Our girls going from enemies to lovers. Explore this theme as you wish!

Day 4, October 4th: Vampire. Of course we're including vampire as a theme. Blood drinking is a part of their relationship! Vampire AUs, vampire like actions, vampire imagery, or whatever involving vampires or vampire as a concept!

Day 5, October 5th: Post Canon/Time Skip. What happens after the war? What happens in the future for our girls? You decide!

Day 6, October 6th: Meeting Class A/LoV. Toga meeting Class A or Uraraka meeting the League of Villains. How does that go? Could also be Toga meeting the 'dekusquad'.

Day 7, October 7th: Free Day. Basically anything goes. Any aus, prompts, themes, memes, random, whatever. Great if you missed a day!

1. No not safe for work or smut, basically keep it pg 17 becasue Toga and Uraraka are 17 and 16 currently in canon. Even with the post canon/time skip day no smut. (Mentions of mature activities is allowed but remember PG17.)

2. No background minor x adult ships. No background in cest. No making togachako fit either of those in an AU. I won't reblog it and will just block you.

So I've been working on a deity AU for obey me where all the characters are fantasy style deities. So what would your version of a deity Solomon be like?

I'd always imagined a deity Solmon would probably have domains of magic, contracts and poison. I also imagine that he's one of the few deities in the AU who was born human and ascended to godhood.

But I'm curious to see what your thoughts would be on it?

SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG… i was pondering on how i was gonna go about drawing the design but i agree that he wouldve originally born a human eventually became a god !! your take on him being he god rulign over those domains are cool…… SO I BASED THE DESIGN A LITTLE F THAT !! You know how sorcerers lov their capes so i gave him an extra long one, and the markings are based off ritual markings or like. The demon pacts i guess !!

This idea just came to mind but would you ever consider doing a small "fantasy AU" game for Our Life after you're done with the second one like you kinda made a "yandere AU" game for XOXO Droplets witth XOXO Blood Droplets? i think it would be fun to romance a merman Cove, maybe a Fairy Tamarack, or Elf Qiu!

"HELLOOOO so im a huuuge fan of just about everything you’ve put out (i haven’t played a foretold affair yet :C) and ive noticed that, probably due to its size, our life only has partial voice acting of a few lines compared to, say, lake of voices. will you ever make a shorter game in the future that has full voice acting or will games only get grander as time goes on?"

These asks have different specifics they're wondering about, but they both apply to our trajectory on the games I make so I hope you don't mind me answering it together.

Unfortunately, I'm never gonna make a "small side project" again. I have many regrets and I've learned my lesson, aha. Making LoV ended up pushing back other projects in order to get it done to the quality we wanted, Floret Bond got stuck as a demo because there were unforeseen problems that we didn't have the bandwidth to manage because it was meant to be a smaller bonus thing that didn't take a ton of time/budget, and XOXO Blood Droplets is missing some of the stories because our main project ended up being so much larger in scale than originally planned (and because everything went crazy in the real world).

So, I will only focus on our big, fancy main projects from now on while trying to maybe, hopefully finish the other small things that were already started. No more new silly AUs or short stories. I'm sorry for that but, clearly, even when I try to make games like that, I don't really end up making games like that. I make partial games and then have to put them on the back burner for years or forever. As much as I love being able to tell lots of different stories/work in different genres, I'm not gonna lie to myself or the players again about how I can totally handle working on more than just the main games. Fool me three times, I won't be fooled again.

I'm going to stick with the fics that deserve more attention because also listing my favorites that are popular would make this post way too long

In The After by HopeNight. It's a post-canon fic that ignores everything past the Cultural Festival Arc, and follows Midoriya training a girl named Watashi Kiyomi who wants to be a Quirkless Hero. It's excellent and severely underloved.

Ripples on Deep Water by Silver_Snek, which is a rewrite of a fic I really enjoyed up until the ending took a sudden turn, which I assume is related to it being rewriten. This rewrite is still on chapter one, and hasn't updated in... a bit, but I have high hopes.

Don't Forget The Support by FandomsandFlowers, if you want that delicious Support-Heroics Hybrid Quirkless Midoriya

A Sort of Patchwork by DyedViolet, sadly discontinued after the author fell out of the fandom, but otherwise an extremely good urban fantasy with Quirks AU

Syzygy Series by orkestrations. It's Dad For One but everyone already knows and is supportive, and is real good

The Kaiju Hero: Titan Monarch by TreeKiller. The fic that hooked me on Hero Course Hatsume. Should note it has some All Might bashing and Endeavor accidentally gets Inko killed very early on, but if you're cool with that it's fun and wild. Also hasn't updated in a while.

Paper Agency by The Feels Whale, which I'm surprised to see has >100,000 hits. Due to a Department of Education scandal, Midoriya wasn't allowed into any high school. If you think this will stop him, I don't know what manga you've been reading. Starts after graduation.

Okay so Izuku Midoriya vs the World may have been orphaned, but it also has the most interesting take on All Might Negativity I've ever seen in that his entire character arc is overcoming the internalized discrimination he faced growing up that he never had to examine after getting OFA. Abusive Inko.

Flashback by Psyckosama has less than 100,000 hits and that should be a crime. It is easily one of the best Time Travel Fixits, and has some really cool worldbuilding.

Inheritor of Two by The_Mad_Mystic. It's very similar to Chaos For All. Be aware that Midoriya does lose a limb though.

Crossfire by CosmicMerman. Midoriya fakes a Quirk by buying experimental nanites online.

Shared Dream by Beaumains. Midoriya adopts a cat with a Quirk that lets the cat share traits with people she bonds with. So now he has an intelligent cat he can talk to with his mind and also cat mutations.

Duplicity And All Its Cold Comforts by DragonflyxPardoies. Wanna watch a bunch of kids take down society?

Blood and bones and heroism by Elia41. More urban fantasy fused with MHA. Interesting in that after learning magic, Midoriya figures he may as well make his classmates at UA learn magic too.

Born of cold (and winter air) by StormySkiesAhead. Yes it's another urban fantasy. No I will never be sick of them. Midoriya and Todoroki are dragons, and there are a handful of other magical being in Class 1-A. The LoV breaks into Endeavor's agency to glue tiny plastic camels to everything. Literally what more could you want?

i'll be your biggest kept secret and your biggest mistake by sascake. This one has a pretty dark backstory as a future fic, so be careful of that. Namely, there was an explicit suicide attempt. While it's never shown in detail it's discussed pretty heavily, so be careful about that. Despite that it's mostly a cute love story about Midoriya and Todoroki.

Elemental Storm by CatnipKDODO, who follows this blog, so hi! This fic is getting a rewrite but this version is still available for reading. It has that fandom concept of a third transferable Quirk, in this case one themed around all the elements. Hurricane, that Canadian Hero from WIMTBAH is a cameo from this fic. Tagged as All Might bashing but really isn't.

Drown Together by Zirconium40. Wanna watch everyone destroy society? Darkest HPSC depiction I've seen.

Parallel Lines by Endivinity. Midoriya has AFO and is implied to have killed AFO. Mysteries abound.

if I make it through tonight, everybody's gonna hear me out! by x_asche_13. Described as a Leverage AU, and has one of my favorite 'Izuku and Himiko are siblings' dynamics.

Then I'll Do It My Way by justaglitch. BAMF Yaoyorozu.

Defiant by arc1m3d35. OFA!Uraraka and AFO!Midoriya are trapped on an island AFO uses to hold animalistic Noumu.

Son of a Gun by Randomsumofagum. Izuku is the son of Inko and Nagant.

hell is empty (all the devils are here) by idiot_onion. Midoriya is possessed by a demon. This goes surprisingly well for him.

a cubic centimeter of flesh Series by Lucifra. Due to a series of coincidences and a serious mistake by AFO, Midoriya ends up killing him and stealing his body on complete accident.

My Battle Acamaidia by Drink_Some_Water. Shigaraki played a few too many games and decides that what he needs before the USJ attack... is maids. This is a surprisingly wholesome Villain!Fem!Midoriya fic

Key Lime Pie by Violetsumire, another person who follows this blog, hello! The future daughter of Inko and All Might was left unsupervised with Hatsume and naturally Hatsume sent her back in time, and she sets out to save Izuku's life. Discussed suicide.

Eldritch by CosmicAce. A rewrite. Death asked if anyone was gonna mom Izuku and didn't wait for an answer.

katana: In which Roy Mustang attempts to find the missing Katana Fleet, the Elrics sign up to find it too, a secret organization of Sith is stirring from the shadows, and some Jedi still remain. And Al definitely isn't hiding a big secret. Nope. Star Wars AU.

what doesn’t kill you: What with serial killers, government plots, homunculi, Philosopher's Stones and murderous emperors of Xing all causing trouble, Ed and Al find that getting their bodies back has become significantly harder--and hiding the fact that they lost them in the first place near impossible. But they'll manage it--they've got an entire galaxy counting on them, after all. Mei Chang/Alphonse Elric. Science Fiction AU.

we are more than we are (we are one): On a dark and stormy night, three things go terribly wrong. The first: that Ed and Al attempt human transmutation, and pay a toll for crossing the Gate. (I know, you knew that already) The second: that there is no suit of armour in the room. (I know, you've seen this one before) The third: that Winry is nearby, and intervenes. (two become one, become three)

everything is fricked (there are seven Edward Elrics): In which Alphonse gets his body back far earlier than in canon, the Stop-The-Amestris-Death-Circle team does their best, Scieska's conspiracy theories turn out to be true, and Mustang becomes increasingly uncertain of the number of Edward Elrics in the world.

the inevitable fourteenth: On your fourteenth birthday, you swap bodies with your soulmate. This is interesting, to say the least, for Alphonse and Mei. It's a downright disaster for Lust and Havoc. Mei Chang/Alphonse Elric, Lust/Jean Havoc (once I finish writing the second chapter at least)

not this time: In which Zuko realizes what's wrong with the Fire Nation and becomes the Blue Spirit three years early, Sokka is probably not an earthbender, both boys cause incredible amounts of concern and confusion to their parental figures, soulmarks are a thing, Azula steals her brother's redemption arc, and Captain Rei did not sign up for this.
