#mirabel enacnto
Note
I know Terzo was INCONSOLABLE during the song "dos oruguitas" when the first watches Enacnto with his kids. (I'm a mess every time from the argument scene between Mirabel and Abuela to the credits every damn time)
I too am inconsolable during that song. 😭❤️
The Emeritus family all huddled together watching Encanto (based on Tied As One Eternally universe.)
Terzo sobbing: "Alé, I love you so much cara mia. Just look at them. They are family once more."
-Secondo and Primo rolling their eyes-
Secondo: "You know fratello, you would think that your Prime Mover would be the more emotional one since she's the one with the hormones.
Mena goes to hug him: "it's ok daddy."
Alessandra still cleaning up all the chocolate from Dante's face and visibly pregnant with Luciana: "Don't mind him honey, he's always like this."

Part two of the Mirabel wreapon au
(part one)
Mirabel twirled the golden dagger in her tiny hands.
She sat on a bench in her families kitchen. She had ditched the festival it was going to be no fun for her anyway.
Plus she already got the only thing she wanted. Her dagger, her beautifully crafted dagger.
She had seen similar objects to it all over. Mostly in the kitchen, although they where shorter with no delicate engravings and no gold. Mirabel wondered what it would be like to play with the dagger. To slash with it, to bring down bad guys like she read about in books.
Mirabel stood up dagger in hand and made a slash in the air. It made whooshing sound as it cut through nothing. Mirabel stared at the dagger wondering what else she could do with it before attacking the air again
We slished and slashed at the pretend foes infront of her. Imagining they where coming at her just as viciously as she was attacking them. She moved around quickly as possible while still attacking the like her life depended on it.
When she finally finished her daydream she had seen she had moved to the outside area of the castia. She looked around to see if any of her family was around. None of them where. She smiled to herself as she launched back in to her fantasy.
In her mind she was a pirate taking down a the bad pirates ship that had stolen from an innocent village. She lunged at the imagery captain of the opposing ship. There weapons colliding sparking as they countied to hit blades against blade. Her story was just getting good when she felt sudden pain in her hand.
She dropped her weapon, clutching her hand to her chest. Blood stained her newly made dress. Tears welled up in her eyes from the pain barely being able to think.
When she remembered that mama had left out some apreas from this morning. Grabbing her dagger and rushing back to the kitchen search desperately for the left overs. She found them on the top of the table quickly stuffing one in to her mouth aggressively chewing until she felt the magic set in.
Her relaxed as she watched the wound heal itself. She sighed. Soon she finished eating her food once and once again taking out the dagger flipping it over in her hands.
Mirabel was unsure how the dagger could have cut her she was holding it firmly and did not think her injured hand was anywhere near the blade. She turned over again tracing her thumb over the roses.
Maybe she hadn't been as careful as she thought? Maybe she had gotten to wrapped up in her fantasy? Whatever the reason mirabel pondered how much effort she needed to put in to make her movements flawless. So she could move like the characters from her favorite books
As she thought this over she did not hear the front door opening nor the approaching footsteps. She did hear the small gasp let out of her mother. 'Oh', mirabel thought 'I never cleaned the blood off my dress'

How to Make Friends By Telling Stories
Based off a prompt given to me by @girl-next-door-writes
Summary: Bruno's attention is caught one day by the woman telling stories to the town children.
Bruno madrigal x female!reader
1.1k words
-
It wasn’t unusual to see groups of children running around while the grown-ups were working on fixing la casa Madrigal. Sometimes they tried to help, sometimes they would just be playing some sort of game.
It was unusual to see such a large group of them, and even more unusual to see them all sitting still.
That’s what caught Bruno’s attention.
Everyone around him were busying themselves with one thing or another. He himself had only just finished a job, but no one seemed to find the sight interesting or out of place. It was just him, then. That was fine, he would just go over and see what they were up to, make sure they weren’t causing any trouble.
The children didn’t notice him walking over, far too occupied with, apparently, the story they were being told. Because in the center of the throng was a woman, adamantly telling a fascinating story about some sort of creature that slithered through the trees of the jungle, longing to be like the humans it saw in the village. This, of course, included plenty of hand motions and voice changes. It was a captivating performance.
Captivating enough to keep his attention, at least. And the attention of two dozen or so children.
He ended up hovering nearby, too focused on the story she was weaving to notice as time passed them by until the sun was getting low in the sky, painting everything in a golden light. It was only then that the woman pushed the hood off her head, to the dismay of the children around her. They groaned and whined but she just smiled a dazzling smile.
“Sorry, everybody, that’s all from Sophianna the Storyteller today. I really do need to get back to work.”
“Will Sophianna come back tomorrow?” One little girl asked, big brown eyes pleading.
“We’ll see, niña. Maybe if you lot leave me be so I can work through the morning she can come back after lunch.”
There was a cheer from some of the kids as they all ran off, back to wherever they had come from. Once they were out of sight the woman sighed, leaning back against the tree behind her. She looked tired, Bruno realized.
“Hey…” The woman looked up at his voice, slowly blinking at him before managing to put a smile on her face.
“Ah, hola! You’re … Bruno Madrigal, right?”
He nodded, managing not to wince. He had hoped she wouldn’t have heard about him.
“Um, I really enjoyed your story. You’re an excellent storyteller.”
Her smile brightened a bit at the praise, less forced and more genuine.
“Gracias! I appreciate that! How long have you been listening?” She motioned for him to sit next to her. He hesitated, but it would be rude to refuse, so he did eventually sit down in the grass next to her, looking out over the building sight. They were starting to finish up for the day, people leaving as the last jobs were completed.
“Long enough. “ He finally said with a shrug, fidgeting with the frayed edge of his ruana. “I’m just - I was wondering. How does that story end?”
He heard a snicker from the woman and looked over to see the corner of her eyes crinkle slightly as she smiled.
“I couldn’t tell you. I was making it up as I went.”
He stared at her slack jawed, eyes wide with surprise and amazement. That just made her snicker more.
“You’re kidding?!” She shook her head. “¡Eso es increíble! I would never have been able to tell!”
Her smile was one of the most beautiful he had ever seen.
“Oh, stop! It’s not that impressive.” She tried to wave him off.
“You’re just being humble.” He said with a chuckle, unable to keep his eyes off her. The golden light of the setting sun shining off her hair made it look like she had a halo around her head. The image was like one of those old oil paintings of goddesses or legendary beauties.
“Tío Bruno!” The moment was interrupted by the shout, both of them looking up to see Mirabel running over. “Oh, buenos noches, Señora Y/N! I didn’t know you were here!”
Bruno frowned, confused a bit by how the two knew each other, but his head turned back to the woman, Y/N, when she spoke.
“I thought I’d try and help today, but I’m afraid I got a bit distracted.” She admitted with a sheepish grin that made her eyes twinkle. “The children insisted Sophianna make an appearance, and who am I to say no?”
Mirabel laughed, clearly amused by the woman’s situation.
“Oh!” She said, noticing her poor uncle’s confused expression as he watched them. “Y/N was my teacher when I was younger! She’s always been the best story teller! She could give you a run for your money.” She said the last part with a mischievous smirk.
“Oh, you like telling stories, too?”
Those eyes were suddenly on him and he felt his face heat up a little with the smile that tugged on his lips. He shrugged.
“Yeah, sometimes. Can’t say I’m as good as you, though.”
“You sure?” She was smirking, too, now. The look in her eyes did something to him, his heart flipping in his chest. “You’re not just being humble, now, are you?”
“Ah, well - you see-”
“He is.” Mirabel interrupted him, causing the man to splutter and trip over his words. That just made Y/N laugh, loud and proper. He was sure his heart would stop beating at that sound, so warm and hearty and perfect. He couldn’t stop the chuckle from slipping out.
“Well, maybe we can share stories sometime!”
“I - yeah! That would be great!” He managed to get out without embarrassing himself further.
She smiled at him again before forcing herself to her feet, brushing the dirt off his skirts. He got up with her, just a bit too fast.
“Well, I feel like I’m about to fall asleep on my feet! I’d better get home, but I’ll see you two tomorrow!”
Bruno nodded, watching her go while Mirabel shouted a goodbye after her. For a moment, neither said anything.
“Soooo …” Mirabel broke the silence, looking at her uncle with a glint in her eyes. “You two looked like you were getting along.”
“Don’t.” Bruno huffed, a fond smile tugging at his lips. He aggressively messed up the girl’s hair until she was giggling and her glasses were askew. “What did you need me for?”
“Right! Mamí wants your help with dinner!”
He let the girl drag him off, listening to her talk but not really processing what she was saying. He was too busy thinking about other things, like what he would say when he next saw Y/N.

“Wow, you really like hugs, huh?” Isabela said, feeling her girlfriend’s arms wrap tightly around her waist. Her fingers softly stroking her sides.
“Only when it’s you I’m hugging, mi vida,” Y/N responded. She inhaled the smell of Isa’s hair as she hid her head in the crook of her neck. Nuzzling a bit closer, she pressed a few light kisses to her neck and shoulder.
Isabela was known as the most beautiful flower of Encanto for a reason, she was a beautiful woman, inside and out
so when you finally got lucky enough to get to call her your girlfriend, you would make sure to let her know that you were not going to let her slip away
having her close to you was making time stop, problems disappear, life get brighter, smile creep onto your face
her soft skin and hair (and the fact she always smelled amazingly) were making it impossible to not get addicted to her touch
“Isabela, could you give me a hand- oh,’ Mirabel stopped mid-sentence seeing her sister being clearly busy.
Isabela and Mirabel were helping Julieta with breakfast. But Isabela proved to not be much help. And the reason for that was Y/N sitting without a word on the counter. She wasn’t helping nor was she disturbing their work, so Mirabel didn’t mind her. Until she grabbed Isabela’s hand and laced their fingers together, that was. Isa couldn’t really do much with only one free hand, yet she let her girlfriend hold onto her as if she was her anchor.
Well, for Y/N she was.
“Y/N, can you please let Isa go?”
Y/N shook her head and tightened her grip. “No.”
Mirabel sighed.
“Mira, I’m perfectly capable of doing my job with one hand,” Isa said as she dropped an arepa. Mira rolled her eyes.
“Fine, you’ll get your extra hand,” Y/N said, hopping off of the counter. Mirabel raised a brow.
Still holding hands, Y/N started helping Isa using her free hand. Mirabel got what she wanted. Two working hands. She still pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance though.
the family loves you, sure, but they can’t help, but wish sometimes you could let Isa breathe
Camilo once said that it’s getting annoying and Isa planted cacti on his bed
while you think Isa is a goddess, she thinks you’re a blessing
her little cuddly toy
at first she thought your clinginess would get tiring after a while
she was surprised it didn’t
you being clingy didn’t necessarily mean that you were glued to her 24/7, no, it sometimes was just you being close or giving Isa something that reminds her of you
she would be doing errands and you would hook your pinkies together when you’d notice her get annoyed or bored
you would observe her from across the plaza as she would entertain the kids with flower tricks, occasionally waving at her or winking at her and in return she would blow you kisses and make a rose grow right next to your feet
you’re busy too, so in the morning you’d find her, give her a note with a sweet and thoughtful affirmation for the day
she’d smile, kiss your cheek and you’re both on your way to finish your chores
“Is something wrong, amor?” Isa asked when Y/N laid her head on her lap.
Y/N opened one eye, looking up at Isa. “Nothing’s wrong. Not now at least.”
“You sure?”
“Mhm,” Y/N nodded, closing her eyes again. “I just missed you. You and your comfortable lap.”
Isabela smiled, relieved. She relaxed and stroked Y/N’s hair. Isa decided to take a moment and appreciate the girl laying on her lap.
Moments like this were rare, but that made them more meaningful, didn’t it?
at the begging of your relationship, Isa was confused at the amount of hugs and kisses she would receive on daily basis
she thought that you needed comfort and that something was wrong
it wasn’t
you’re just clingy
and Isa is, like, super warm
she’s like a walking fuzzy blanket
so of course you’d cuddle her as often as possible
after some time, she got used to the affection
sometimes, especially when you’re tired, you’d come up to Isa from behind and literally climb onto her back
wrapping your arms around her neck and legs around her waist
it was like she was giving you a piggy back ride, only you gave it to yourself
she could be talking to someone at the moment, she wouldn’t care
she’d continue the conversation as if nothing was happening
Isa would support your legs with her hands not even looking at you, knowing you probably just need to fulfill the desire to feel the comfort of your girlfriend’s touch
the person Isa was talking to though, let’s just say they forgot what they were going to say for a moment there
“Y/N, babe, breakfast is ready,” Isabela whispered to the girl. “We should hurry before Camilo eats both our portions.”
Y/N only grumbled. She pressed her head against Isa’s stomach.
What Isa loved about her girlfriend’s cuddles was how random they could be at times. Especially when they took place in bed. Y/N’s limbs were always wrapped around Isabela in some way. One time, her whole body was sprawled across the floor except her left leg. Her left leg remained on the bed and it was hooked over Isa’s own leg. Weird position, sure, but even in that moment Y/N remained a cuddler.
Today she hugged Isa. But her head was against her stomach and her shoulders were at the same height as Isabela’s hips. Y/N’s arms were loosely wrapped around her waist. Isa could feel her breath tickling her skin around the belly button. Their legs were tangled together and Isa had a hard time distinguishing her left calf from the right one.
“Y/N, wake up, preciosa,” Isabel tried again. She stroked Y/N’s hair.
“Fine,” Y/N muttered, untangling herself from her girlfriend. “but you have to carry me downstairs.”
Isabela loved you and your cuddles
you being clingy makes her feel superior
the way you hug her feels like she’s your protector
your knight in shining armor
and Isa loves that, it’s like your hugs and kisses are compliments
and she loves them, it’s like you’re telling her how amazing she is and how safe she makes you feel
you love Isa, Isa loves you, you’re two beautiful girls and you like to be close to each other
one hug from you and Isa knows you just caged her for life
she’s not escaping from your grasp, ever

knock, knock, knock on wood. (A Bruno x FEM!Reader story)
Tumblr media
(word count: 2140)
chapter 0 here!
STRESS, STRESS, STRESS - CHAPTER 1
“Oi! Y/N!” A voice chants outside the now finished Y/N’s window.
With a held breath in and her muscles tense, she embroiders the last flower together in with the baskets unique weaving pattern. “Just… un Segundo…”
The flowers stem in and around the coconut fiber, careful to make it look perfect in every way. The green empathizing with the light brown fizzing about, everything just melting in to one beautiful masterpiece.
“Aha!”
“Senorita! They kind of need it now?” The voice raises itself to be heard clearer – which seems to be working this time.
“I’m coming! I’m coming!”
Y/N reaches her hand out, sweeping the basket up and in glee spins around. The happiness and relief of finishing the piece painted on her facial features. Smile big, raised eyebrows, it’s almost like the skin around are forced to be thrown out by the more dominating features.
She steps out to her door, opening it up to a familiar face. Señora Luciana.
“That surely did take its time. Ai, Y/N, did you do it last minute yet again?” Luciana can see the stress’ marks that it had left behind on Y/N’s joyful face in all types of ways. Sweat, all kinds of colors stained up her arms and cheeks, dirt almost functioning as natural bronzer, and… was that a tear?
“No, señora, I-“
Luciana sends her a glare, capable of killing a hoard of cows and sure will kill a person, let alone vulnerable Y/N. She crosses her arms and look her up and down. “Dios mìo, Y/N.”
“I’m… sorry.” Y/n hesitates, putting on an angel-like look, the halo barely there to be seen however you can easily imagine one gleaming above her messy up-do of hair. “The… basket? :D”
Luciana grabs the basket by its handles. “Get cleaned up, Y/N, I expect you to be ready in 5”
“5?!”
And there the frightening glare comes yet again. Almost like a laser beam cutting over the tension like it was nothing, though the thickness growing.
“5- 5 is fine! Pshh… easily.” Y/n tries to resurrect her now dissembled confidence.
“4.”
“AI! Okay! I- “
“Hurry!”
And with that, Y/N’s own door gets shut in her face. The clock immediately offering her to dance along to the loud ticking from the grandfather clock, intimidatingly raising it’s whispering for every second that passes, and she has yet to be done. Time pressuring her in between suffocating walls closing around her.
And while Y/N yet again stresses her way through her perhaps last living seconds, life at la casita seems to be for once calmer.
“Dolores, take your cousin Louisa to her room, get her dressed, will you?” Abuela says while she puts out the last few plates on the wooden table.
“Si, abuela!”
“Oh, let med help you, Abuela!” Felix swoons in, grabbing the silverware with his as usual big smile. His curls bouncing carelessly as he hums and sways around.
Perfect melody caressing the already cheerful and calm atmosphere.
The kids playing alongside la casita and changing Louisa, small pep talks and playful aura. Felix helping abuela with the table, chatting about what’s to come. Pepa sitting together with Julieta in the kitchen, exhausted as two pregnant women can be. Agustine running back and forth taking order on how to cook the food by the two women, slightly stressed but in a controlled kind of way.
Everybody was happily helping.
Actually… not… everybody.
The everybody was missing – and by that, I mean that the everybody we were missing were Bruno. Bruno, the distant and most misunderstood family member. The goofy uncle. The clumsy brother. The “fortune teller.” The only single within his sibling circle, and he sure did make way for that to stay the truth for eternity and on.
Bruno is an introverted extrovert, a man true to his word – literally. He is the Madrigal that can tell you what’s ahead and what to be aware of, and although his gift is as incredible as the others’, people tend to forget he doesn’t control the future, he merely predicts it – and once predicted, there won’t be a lot to do to avoid such circumstance.
Let’s say – he isn’t everybody’s favorite madrigal – if anyone’s.
And the truth is, he is hated for what he can’t change, for what is supposed to be his “gift.” People bothered by him every day, not to mention the long walk up the stairs in his room to then just find out the future isn’t exactly what you hoped.
The only person who doesn’t seem to be affected by this fact is the man himself. Bruno Madrigal. The third triplet.
No, today he is completely unbothered.
Shoulders up high, heel after heel leading him down to the kitchen into the comforting energy and wonderful smell of menu del día. A grin shining from his rather tired looking face.
“Hello there famili-!”
And with that short sentence the atmosphere changes.
“Maldit-“
“Language!”
A pan falls, food flying in the air. Agustine barely on his feet grabbing out and trying to clasp around anything to support him. Rattling kitchen tools landing on the floor, la casita catching every single piece.
“What is happening?!”  Abuela yells.
“Ai, low voice, abuela!” Pepa shrieks as she covers her ears and as she does, tea spills all over her and Julieta’s lap, granted to be a 1st degree burn at least.
“Mi vida-!”
“OW!”
In the background, out from the furthest back of the building in the nursery room, a crying Luisa and a whining Dolores apologizing over and over can be heard as loudly as if they were right in the room beside them.
“Mama!! Tia Julieta! Luisa is impossible!”
“MAMA! DOLORE-“
“SHHH, LuiSA-“
“Girls! Quiet down!” Abuela yells yet again.
“Abuela!” Pepa, Julieta and Felix say in union.
That’s when Bruno reads the queue to leave. The smirk he had washed away together with his uplifting shoulders. Now both were hanging as low as his eye bags. Whatever glee he had saved up to give onto his family is gone.
His heels turning and leading him on out the door, out to in front of the house. La casita making sure the door opens and closes in a quick pace to help him out.
“Way to go, Bruno…” He mumbles to himself while he clenches his fists.
La casita concerningly lift bricks beneath him, nudging him to his sides, a caring move to show that it cares about him. Bruno of course understands this.
“I’m fine, casita.”
The house once more nudges him on. Clinking trying to communicate with this gloomy figure upon its body – trying is the key word.
The man pushes a hair strand behind his ear and fixes his clothing. Pushing his feet into his sandals further just to make sure they were on right. He doesn’t want to make himself look more of a fool.
“Who would ever think that Bruno was ever a good person? Not the atmosphere!” Bruno says to himself, turning his head to the side, kicking a stone off the step.
He puts upon his hood. “We think you’re a good person!” he imitates a strange voice.
“Yes, we do!” Yet another strange voice comes out of him.
Bruno sighs to himself. “Thank you, Hernando and Jorge.” He pulls his hood off again, hair poofing to every direction.
“Who’s… Hernando?” A voice sneaks up on Bruno – No, doesn’t sneak. It has been standing there, watching him the whole time. The time being from when he stepped out to now. And to surprise, this voice isn’t just something he is making up, it’s in front of him. The it being a her, a woman, Y/N Y/L/N.
“Uh- eh-“ Bruno stammers, his hands clamming to each other, anxiously fiddling with one another, trying to come up with a response. “Hernando- is-… eh-“
Y/N tilts her head, looking curiously on the mentally troubled man in front of her. Popcorn thoughts beginning to pop left and right.
God, he looks tired. Is he okay? Is it the way I look? Is he looking at me at all? Do I have dirt on my face? Did I leave the shower running?
“you see... he is- uh- no its more of uh-“ Bruno fumbles with his words, wheeling his now sweaty hands around trying to refresh his brain, start a chain reaction of thoughts in his head, however he is left with an empty mind and one thought alone.
Who is she?
The two staring at each other, silence growing bigger for every awkward “eh” leaving Bruno’s lips. His face copying the tension, reddening every inch of his mocha-colored skin. Y/N’s head building up to a pile of popcorn corns, popping on top of the other, filling up until there is no room for more.
“Bruno?”
“Eh-“ He pulls a hand to the back of his head.
A crowd forms behind the feminine figure in front of Bruno. The towns people carrying sparkling smiles and joy filled eyes as well as a present for each 7th head, all coming towards la casita.
“Oi! Y/N!”
Y/N? Oh! I know! Y/n Y/L/N! Of course… of course…
Bruno claims his mental victory with a small smirk sprouting upon his tomato head, almost forgetting the awful and painful – awkward and confusing – atmosphere. Almost.
“Bruno, what are you tryi-“ Y/N’s head still tilted though now her body turned slightly towards the person calling her name.
“Bruno! Where are you! Bru- Where is he when you need him?!” Bruno hears Pepa speak in a rather defeated tone from behind the doors, the ones he is almost leaning up against in search out of the situation.
“Oh! You hear that- someone is calling- better go now! Sorry!” He hurries to open the door. “Sorry! Sorry!” And as fast as he opened the door, as fast he closes the door. “Sorry!”
“Tïo Bruno!” Isabela exclaims out of surprise looking at her crow-backed uncle hiding behind the big wooden door.
Bruno jolts up and turns quickly on his heels once again. And although he is fast acting, he uses a good 5 seconds before having a reaction to his little niece.
“Tìo-“
“If it isn’t the birthday girl!” His arms spread out, ready to receive a hug from his dear niece. “Come on, give tìo Bruno a hug.”
The girl runs towards her uncle, jumping into a soft embrace leading into a twirl full of giggles and chuckles. Bruno holding Isabela up in the air, acting as if she weighed nothing though his scrawny and thin arms aching to let go.
“Happy birthday, mi Girasol!” He blissfully says with his smile growing wider, examining his nieces gorgeous face decorated in flowers. “What a beautiful get up!”
Isabela giggles. “You’re missing something!”
“Oh?”
And with a swish she grows a flower to put behind Bruno’s ear under his disaster of curls. “You look so pretty! Like a princess!”
“I’m a princess? Mi Girasol, it’s your birthday! You’re the princess.”
“No you are!”
“I am?”
“You are a pretty princess!” Her eyes big with an irresistible pout.
Bruno laughs light-heartly. “Fine. I’m a pretty princess.” He rolls his eyes jokingly.
They join in for another close embrace.
Isabela has always seen the good in Bruno although everybody told her otherwise. When Bruno is at his lowest, she would and still will always come to rescue with her vaguely bad jokes that they - despite the quality of the joke not always being good – will no matter the time or space laugh about and enjoy together. The two of them has always had an unspoken bond that originated from back when Isabela could first understand words. Ironically the most loved and the most … unliked… family member of the whole bunch.
The one thing Bruno has, that no other can claim to have and is envied.
“Awwwww!” The crowd awes in union.
Without the two noticing, la casita had let the doors open wide, letting the town people see the sweet sentimental moment between the two opposites poles.
“diOS Mío!” Bruno clenches on tight to Isabela, hiding her in his arms like he is protecting her as a mother bear would protect a cub from a threat. His anxious heart pounding fast.
“It’s alright, tío Bruno!” Isabela snickers.
“nO-“ His voice cracks.
“We have gifts for the birthday chica, Isabela” Y/N sparkle.
“PRESENTS!” Isabela yells excitedly, wiggling her body out of Bruno’s hug to run out and collect her gifts.
Bruno forced to let go, turning his heels yet again to meet the same face as he did before. The woman he had heard so much about from his sister Pepa and her husband Felix.  Y/N Y/L/N. A name assigned to the right owner, a puzzle piece finding it’s place within the others around.
So, this is Y/N Y/L/N.

His room starts with a set of stairs that go up with a huge train station at the end where the dead come and go.
His bedroom is next to his office in the train station. It's a single twin bed and a bookshelf with books about morality and law.
He's so busy he basically wakes up earlier than Mirabel to start working.
Mirabel doesn't knock on his door to wake him in the morning because of this.
He chooses which souls to allow into the living world to help/see their families.
He can't allow any of his dead family members into the world of the living. So no Abuelo Pedro. He could allow him in if he wanted to, but that would cause the train to break down. So, of course, he doesn't do it.
He deals with the town's haunted things/homes.
"Yeah, look. Whoever is haunting this place, the family said they want you to go back to the world of the dead. I don't have time for this either, man, I have a train station to run."
Thinks Bruno is dead and haunts Casita because he talks to him through the walls.
He never tells anyone about his convos with Bruno. He's too scared to take away everyone's hope of him returning. Especially his mom's.
Doesn't really talk to anyone but his sister, mom, Dolores (She's quiet unless she's gossiping), and Mirabel (Bc let's face it, she talks to everyone).
Major introvert, but when he's talking to people he likes to hang out with, he's like a shy version of Camilo. Just a little less annoying and more smartass.
Very logical and cold while working and judging who goes in and out, but has a soft spot for dads who just wanna see their children.
"You almost got half the town killed, why would you want to come back?... You want to see your kids... Fine, you have thirty minutes. Don't make me change my mind."
Is always ignored by Abuela Alma because she's a bit resentful that he won't allow Pedro into the world of the living.
Will not hesitate to punch someone (except for Mirabel bc she gets on his nerves the less) for asking about or even mentioning Bruno.
Isn't in We Don't Talk About Bruno until the scene where everyone is setting up the table because he was in his train station.
Doesn't do anything about everyone speaking of Bruno because his mom tells him to behave during dinner.
When everyone walks out after the dinner is ruined, he simply scoffs and walks back into his room.
"Well, what a waste of time."
Really just wanted to get back to think through his father leaving to protect Mirabel.
He wears a conductor's uniform under a poncho because he quite literally doesn't care.
His work hours are 6:30 AM - 10:30 PM
Always checking his pocket watch.
Very punctual to ANYTHING
"You have ten seconds to explain. You better not be wasting my time."
Mirabel was bugging Oscar about Bruno after Luisa told her to check Bruno's tower.
"I know you don't like to talk about your dad, but I'm asking you because I know you'd like it if I didn't hear the rumors. So so you know about the vision he had that was totally, probably why he left?"
*knocks on wood* "Nope, and I don't ever want to know. Have a nice day, Mirabel. NEXT IN LINE!" (actually does, but he won't admit it)
Oh yeah, to talk to him during work hours, you have to line up with the dead.
Carmen
50
A seamstress and Fortune teller (Hobby)
Married to Bruno
Lives in Bruno's tower because she doesn't dare leave unless necessary.
Only comes down for special events, dinner, and delivering any clothes she worked on while she was up in the tower.
"Oh, I'm just here to give you Toñito's shirt. I'm gonna be back up in the tower in a bit."
She saw Mirabel sneak into the tower.
Was just sitting there in the vision room and then "MIRABEL!"
Sits in a rocking chair while she makes clothes.
Filled Bruno's vision cave with mannequins and clothes.
Loves the smell of sand.
She doesn't sleep until she kisses Bruno's pillow. She doesn't sleep on it in fear that it'll lose his scent.
Cries when she hears anyone telling rumors about him
Made the "We Don't Talk About Bruno" Rule
She has her own song that she sings to Mirabel about how she's been up there, staying strong while she waits for Bruno to return.
Likes spending time with Pepa and Juieta.
Walks down from the tower to check on her children. Since the loss of Bruno, she cares about them a lot.
Takes Oscar food when he doesn't come down to dinner.
Oscar reminds her of Bruno since they look very similar.
Always reminds Oscar and Marta that their gifts are special in fear that they would leave like Bruno.
When the vision cave falls, she stays to clean it up. She tells Mirabel to find Bruno for her.
"I don't know where he is. But if ou find him... Tell him I love him... and bring him back home."
Over All
They're all superstitious.
Every time any of them hear anything about Bruno's vision they all throw salt behind their backs and knock on wood.
Marta and Oscar secretly talk shit about Camilo (Because he likes to turn into bruno and because Oscar hates it when he's loud).
Marta and Oscar's prank shenanigans only happen on days where the traffic flow of the station is very low. AND GOD FORBID THAT DAY IS TODAY BECAUSE NO ONE BREATHES IN PEACE.
When Marta and Oscar are both free they wake up Camilo with a bucket of water and sand. It's like tradition at this point.
"SUCK IT LOSER!" Is Marta's favorite prhase to shout at Camilo.
Marta: "One of these days we're gonna get caught."
Oscar: "And? We at least get to keep the fear 'Los engendros diabolicos de Bruno' alive and at our favor~" (Translation: Bruno's hell spawns)
Carmen lightly scolds them when they get in trouble.
She pulls on their ears when they get into a fight. (Mostly happens to Marta)
"QUE THE DIJE DE ANDARTE PELEANDO CON TUS PRIMOS, MUGRE ESQÜINCLA!" (Translation: What did I tell you about getting into fights with your cousins, you little scoundrel!? (esqüincla has no translation. It's more of a negative word to describe a child)
Oscar will straight up box with Camilo for talking about Bruno. Not just throw punches. He will knock him out.
"I better not hear his name some out of his mouth again or I'm knocking out your teeth. A ver si asi se te ocurre ser chismoso..." (Translation: "Let's see if you still think of gossiping like that."

Encanto headcanons
- Because of his future vision he'll often see bits of pop culture that no one has heard of before. So he'll often make a joke referencing that part of pop culture laugh to himself for a minute and then remember no one else got his joke
- isa is a asexual lesbian that uses she/him pronouns cause why not?
- When pepa and felix started dating pepa always referred to bruno as her "little brother" so felix was always imagining like a 10 year old. When invited over to meet her family he had gotten a surprise toy because he thought bruno was like a kid and was very shocked to see a grown ass man who he then found out was only 3 minutes younger then pepa
- Felix side of the family absolutely adores pepa family and thinks the magic they have is super cool. While augstin side of the family is very jealous of julieta and her families magic
- Mirabel is pedro reincarnated
- Dolores really enjoys silent movies since she can just not listen and still know what happening
- Mirabel can look at someone do something once and be able to do it herself with relative ease (she can just basically pick up most skills with very little effort)
- Camilo is a picky eater so he often just eats a bunch of like one thing at meals to the point there's none for anyone else
-Luisa is lactose intolerant
- When julieta and agustin first started dating bruno didn't like him but now hes probably one of bruno's favorite people to talk to
- One time pepa insulted bruno and instead of getting upset he just looked in to her eyes and was like "October 3rd". Pepa freaked out after that thinking she was gonna die but it was actually the day she was going to meet felix
- Felix and Augustin where both born and raised outside of encanto and moved there later in life
-Since encanto is so isolated most of the family only knows what going on in the world through bruno's predictions
- isa favorite sweets are chocolates
- Mirabel absolutely loves rock candies, she has almost thrown up because she got a bunch for her birthday and ate them all at once

-bruno got a concussion once which caused all his visions to only happen during the actual event instead of a long time before
-most people assume mirabel is kinda weak when in reality the girl is scrappy and is not afraid to fight dirty (she will pull your hair out if she has to)
-bruno loves using his gift and he gets really happy when using it, hes more afraid of the backlash that comes with it
- Mirabel often laughs in the face of people that say they have crushes on her because she convinced herself no would be attracted to her so it must be a joke
- castia gets gifts for the family on their birthday with some sort of magical property
- camilo use to be kinda mean to mirabel from 6 to about 8 but soon realized how upsetting what he was doing was so he stopped. He feels very guilty for that time of his life and could barely look mirabel in the eye until he was 14
-when they where younger pepa and julieta would beg bruno to use his future vision to project movies that haven't come out yet so they could watch them
- after the movie isa and luisa are very over protective of mirabel like its absolutely ridiculous the lanks they go to just to make sure there little sister is safe
- dolores has to leave movies sometimes because of second embarrassment
- mirabel is the smartest of the madrigal grandkids
- when playing any board game camilo just makes up his own rules when he starts losing
- when they where younger isa always stole mirabel chocolates which annoyed her to no end but soon mirabel learned that isa hates nuts so she started buying chocolate with only nuts in it to get isa off her back. She still does it in to her teen years even tho shes not a big but and chocolate fan

I absolutely love this idea so bit of headcanons for this au
(@toaverse @valencethefriendlychangeling)
- mirabel got her door but it wasn't very clear nor did her room give any clues what her gift is so no one knew what it was
- until about a week later when jumping up down excited for dinner her mother asked her to stop and she freezed mid air and didn't fall until her mother said to unfreeze
- everyone was still very confused but as weeks went by they started to notice she would do everything they asked her to do until she ethier finished the task or they told her to stop
- camilo and mirabel decided to run an experiment where camilo would ask her to do impossible things for a 5 year old (backflips, running at crazy speeds, completely freezing in time for minutes)
- this all comes to a head when camilo asks mirabel to "fly up to the roof"
- of course because of mirabel power she starts to float up to the roof. Julieta comes out and without thinking yells for mirabel to come down now
- mirabel plummets to the ground and camilo and julieta immediately freak out
- julieta runs to start cooking somthing quick while camilo goes to check on mirabel
- mirabel is mintues from death when camilo gets the idea to say "mirabel heal your injuries"
- quickly everything on her body starts healing and she sits up completely fine like nothing happened
- from then on people figure out what her gift is
- word spreads around and soon everyone knows what her power is
- not long after all this happens mirabel goes out on the village to play with her classmates. Some meaner kids decide to test mirabel power
- they make her run into walls, eat dirt, carry around there stuff for them and just be absolute asses to her
- this happens a few times until one day mirabel breaks down and comes home crying
- she tells her family what has been happening and no one is very angry. So her older sisters decide to 'take care' of the problem
- after that no one ever lets mirabel go out on her own even 10 years later
- mirabel relationship with alma is a bit better here than in the films. But alma still puts pressure to just "listen to the town folks" no matter how insane the request is
- mirabel can actually have her families powers temporarily if someone words there request just right
- in this mirabel is a little more shy and with drawn from the townspeople. But shes still very bubbly around her family and still acts as a big sister to the towns kids. shes very awkward at talking to people her age and adults. Besides that she basically has the same personality

Water bending mirabel au basic story line I guess lol
- at 5 years old she does not get a gift everyone is upset and disappointed. And the treatment from her family is the same in the movies until shes about 6 and half
-Shes having a tantrum when suddenly a water bucket explodes no one thinks to much about expect for mirabel
- Mirabel then runs experiment to see if she can control the water it takes a few tries until she gets the movements just right so she can move it
- excited she goes to tell her family but no one believes and thinks she just has an over active imagination
- dejected mirabel is about to give up when castia gives her a water bending scroll. With delight mirabel studies the simple move and becomes a master at the water whip
- not satisfied with her work she asks the castia for more scrolls and books
-she soon finds the word waterbenders and what they where
-she also finds out all of them where killed many years ago and no one has seen one since
- saddened by this she decides to throw all her time studying waterbending skills
- none of her family know shes doing this until one day at 10 years old (while practicing the octopus move katara does) camilo walks in on her freaks the fuck out and runs out screaming an crying
-he runs to pepa and tries to explain what happened. Pepa thinks it's a joke there playing on her but still checks on mirabel to see that nothing is out of the ordinary and leaves it be
- camilo freaked absolute the fuck out that his cousin who doesn't have a gift is controling water follows mirabel for the day
- he catches her in the act and demands an explanation. She shows him all the books castia gave her showed him everything she can do. By the end of it camilo is more buzzing with excitement that his cousin can do magic without the candle! Which he thinks is super cool
- it stays there little secret with them growing closer over not telling anyone
-mirabel even takes him on some of her training by the river
- camilo keeps the secret for one year until he accidentally says something about going with mirabel to the river to "train" to his mother
- he back tracks and makes something up before quickly leaving
- pepa sends out Dolores (who already knows everything but won't say it) and isa to see what's going on
- they track the duo down to the river where they see mirabel start to bend the water to her will
-Isa confused as all hell jumps out of the bush and drags them back to the house for a family discussion
- Dolores and isa gather family for a meeting and they make mirabel show what she can do
- the family is shocked at how mirabel has "magic" without the house blessing her. She offers no explanation
- alma is glad that she can now be useful to the family and the village but she still some what treats mirabel differently since she doesn't need the candle so she still doesn't think mirabel completely fits in
- she continues her training but now her whole family and village know
- she eventually teaches herself how to heal, take water from flowers ( much to isa dismay) the air and blood bend
- she never uses blood bending and only camilo and Dolores knows she can do it
- by the time the movie takes place mirabel is at the same level as katara at the end of the show
