nsfw knb part 1: (Akashi, Midorima, Murasakibara, Aomine)

Thank you for the request, the other half kuroko, kagami, kise (the kkk?!?) will be up in a few days. knb was my first sports anime that I fell in love with. Takao supremacy.

Akashi:

He is very dominant in bed and gets off on a sense of control. It does matter to him if you are feeling good though, and Akashi checks in regularly to make sure you’re still on board.

Both personalities like bondage. Seeing you all helpless and needy is a major turn on for him. Akashi usually keeps a tight lid on his alter ego, but it does slip out in the bedroom sometimes.

It’s likely no one suspects a thing, but it still feels like everyone can see right through you. Akashi carries on as usual, but the hungry looks he gives you feel like he’s lighting a beacon for everyone to see.

Midorima:

Midorima is repressed as all hell and tries to control himself and be proper, but as soon as he slides in you he can’t stop himself from pounding into you relentlessly.

Is not one to curse in his day to day life, but has a dirty mouth and spews profanity in the bedroom.

He holds a strong conviction that you are meant to be his, and will never let you go.

Eye contact is a thing for him, he likes to stare at you and the expressions you make.

While daydreaming, the idea of pictures popped in his head, but he was too embarrassed to bring it up and he hasn't worked up the courage yet.

“You’re tight,” he hisses, as he slides all the way in. His fingers are leaving indents in your thighs as he pulls you up instinctively, forgetting everything except the urge to go deeper, to be inside of you.

Aomine:

motherfucker can't keep his hands to himself. I think that as he grows older and matures his love of big boobs dies down to just a love of all boobs. He still likes them big of course, but he learns to appreciate all sizes of boobs.

currently reading: I follow and read every “A mage reborn” update religiously. And I started reading “wayfarer” not too long ago but I have not had the time to really sit down and get into it unfortunately. Other than that I’ve been very into fallout: new vegas fanfics lately, lol.

last song: Shield Wall by Amon Amarth. Listening to it always makes me want to go out and like...fight someone twice my size. I think that with the help of that song pumping me up I could do it for sure. 100%. Trust me.

last series: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. I’ve only watched the first ep so I have no real opinions on it yet. I do have to say that it’s disheartening as always to watch people hate it because one of the main characters is an established capable woman, and that’s ....“unrealistic”. I’m tired of the world hating female characters. And just women in general. Sorry for the rant lmao. I’m also watching Jersey shore....and I’m loving it so much.

last movie: Kuroko's Basketball The Movie: Last Game. I enjoyed seeing the generation of miracles. Especially Aomine ( ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ !!) , Murasakibara and Kise. The plot kinda sucked ass though. It had this really strange racism angle going that I think knb is not...really capable of discussing or handling. It was weird af. I’d rather have had the movie be about the characters hanging out and kinda exploring the characters and their backstories a bit instead. Meh??/10

sweet/savory/spicy: savory > spicy > sweet. I’d rather have a starter than a dessert if I’m out eating at a restaurant.

currently working on: Restocking my wardrobe, lol. Working at a restaurant for the past 6 years, wearing an uniform at my job, has really stopped me from getting new clothes. So now that I’ll be working at an office I need to find nice but comfy clothes for every day use. I’m also just working on my art, as aways. I’ve been feeling very bad about it as of late and i’m trying to let myself be more relaxed with it and kinda find the fun in creating stuff again. It’s going....eh... ANSWERING THIS ONE FIRST CAUSE I WAS LITERALLY PLANNING ON CONTINUING MY FIRST WATCH OF THE DUB I PUT OFF LIKE A YEAR AGO AND ALSO AN ACTUAL TAB

First TLDR: I fucking love all of them. I'm less severely mentally ill about it, but I was EXTREMELY imprinted and mentally ill over Kuroko no Basket specifically Akashi to the point of literally having a mini-shrine three years ago and me + my fiance having "emergency Akashi content" on our phones to help calm me down from meltdowns since it was a reliable way to bring me back from flashbacks, panic attacks, and OCD spirals. LITERALLY was an essential tool in my coping hand bag until like two years ago. Still very shocked we didn't introject anyone from that anime, but I'm pretty sure thats cause we have too many similar personality types already

Also this was like my favorite anime for years (watched it originally so I could make fun of it but ended up REALLY liking it) and now competes with Banana Fish for that title.

So like, thank you for asking this, I was HOPING someone would give me an excuse to share all my blorbos

Tetsu: BUN PERFECT LITTLE CINNAMON ROLL PERFECT BABY I LOVE HIM HE IS PERFECT HE CAN DO NO WRONG AND HE DESERVES NOTHING BUT GOODNESS

Kise: sdalfkjlajfdl mood man major mood man also I love the fuck out of him, probably the most similar character to me as a part save for the fact Akashi is a general system mood, but me as a part? Im a Kise personality type

Aomine: Dude I love this man, so cool great papa bear, love him perfect human I love him

Midorima: I love this man, he is big OCD mood, big glasses boy, really cool 10/10 perfect character I love him so much he deserves the world

Murasakibara: My LEAST favorite of the GOM but honestly just as pinchable as everyone else. Hes a good boy who likes sweets

Akashi: Literally saved this body's life like 4000 times in mid highschool to mid college and I literally had a period of worshipping him as a coping mechanism so....... Not perfect DID representation, not even necessarily great, but it is better than most and a lot of things hit HARD home; plus I loved watching him dissociate the fuck out in the middle of a game in the Last Game movie and in the final game of S3 huge fucking mood man. ((I also literally have or at least had every one of his lines memorized in english and japanese to the rhythm and cadence cause I had an issue)) ((Also Ill let you know some of our trauma by the fact we looked at that and went OOF MOOD iykyk))

TLDR: I love all these men

Also Orange is if it applies to another alter but not me specifically. Please do note that all these character did not get enough screen time and that none of them did anything wrong in their life, but most of them weren't bullied enough. /j

for obey me . . . do not request luke x adult!reader (if anything i'd rather just do puppy love with him and a child character.) do not request anything overly complex with asmodeus unless you literate yourself well, i have trouble trying to break him from his pretty boy facade. do not request anything provocative with beelzebub or luke, i'm not comfortable with beelzebub because he just seems...not like that-luke is pretty straightforward on why.

for kuroko no basuke . . . as of 11/28 i haven't gotten past murasakibara being shown the very first time, so try to request things very open and not so plot restricted. i have a good understanding of the generation of miracles + takao and kagami, i just haven't understood everyone else that well (i can do seirin high's players also, Junpei is honestly the best of the background characters to me.) i don't like momoi so don't ever try to convince me to try and do a requested work with her as the main focus.

for vanitas no carte . . . don't request adult!reader with mikhail or luca, this is just like with luke but seriously those two are actual children...

twin star exorcists . . . don't request sayo x rokuro im still mad at her for doing that to the poor guy even though she apologized.

splatoon . . . do not ask me to write for deep cut i absolutely detest them, fight me i don't care for them at all. do not do some weird ship idea with mr grizz and bigman i swear to god i ask that you actually pray for forgiveness.

cookie run (ovenbreak & kingdom) . . . im still in the beginning part of the game so refrain from talking about the citadel or else you'll have me searching through the wiki again and regretting it. do understand when i write for them i write them as though their a human made out of the very things cookies are made of, like for instance pure vanilla would be dough sweeted with vanilla bean and his hair would be like hardened frosting.

genshin impact . . . i've been saying this a lot but- NO SHIPPING THE CHILDREN WITH A NON MINOR READER!!! when you request something from genshin please explain the whole idea VERY clearly, i deleted the game off of my laptop and i refuse to play it until i can pay for my own ps4 and the game. genshin users tend to do those weird "xiao pisses on you cutely" type of thing, but uhm im not into that so ask for actual professional writing...not that.

(please keep in mind when i say ship the child character with a child reader, i mean puppy love, not whatever your mind is thinking of.)

I believe Kagami would own an orange hamster that he named after his favorite basketball player (Because he's a dork), and spoil it a lot... But not too much!

He'd be the best hamster dad, okay. He claims he's not it's dad, and yet he'd treat it like his own *son*. (I headcanon its a boy)

He talks to his hamster about anything and everything when feeding/cleaning his cage- But he won't admit that.

Aomine: A frog

He owns a frog named Satsuki, because 1. It pissed her off when he told her its new name and 2. He claims it looked like her 🤷‍♀️

Him and the frogs are buds, because they bonded over how much Satsuki the frog scares the living shit out of Satsuki the human.

They don't have that "My child" relationship, but Aomine has a lot of respect for his frog.

He is the proud dad of a bengal cat named Pearl. Who has somewhat become his emotional support animal over the years.

They're best friends, she's the love of his life and he has labelled himself her cat dad on every social media platform. (Even if I headcanon he's not an active user, he just went on a changing his bio spree LMAO)

He loves his little princess to *death*, and takes mild offense to anyone who doesn't understand he's her dad now. (we are the same, cat dad and cat mom unite)

Murasakibara: A snail

He owns a snail named Pocky, which he formed an emotional bond with. They had a lot in common you see. They ate food, took things at their own pace and slept.

Pocky is his friend, and no one can take it away from him.

I'd like to request Midorima and Akashi for the pairing analysis! Congrats on 100 followers :)

Midorima and Akashi is another one of my favorite pairings. They don't really show affection outside, but inside, they share a deep mutual respect for each other.

In Teikou, Midorima and Akashi always played shogi together. Even though Midorima lost every time, Akashi viewed him as a very worthy opponent and enjoyed playing with him.

"Our Midorima is far stronger, you know?"

Akashi trusted Midorima enough to recommend him as vice-captain of the team.

In fact, Midorima was the only person close to Akashi enough to be considered his friend. Other than just playing shogi, apparently there were a lot of things that they only told each other. Also, Midorima seemed to actively try to tag along with Akashi to talk on various occasions.

When they met Kuroko, even though Akashi told him and Murasakibara to go ahead, Midorima waited for Akashi to finish so he can ask Akashi about Kuroko.

He went to find Akashi to confront Akashi about him suggesting that Kise and Kuroko play in the second string's match.

He turned down Kise's invitation to stop by the convenience store to talk to Akashi about what they previously discussed and about Kise and Haizaki's issues after the match of the second string.

Midorima was the only person in the Generation of Miracles who knew about Akashi's family and background. Out of them, he spent the most time with Akashi, and understood Akashi best. It's the reason why he was the only one who noticed Akashi's occasional cold tones which resembled "an entirely different person".

He didn't just understand Akashi, he also showed that he cared a great deal about the redhead. After Bokushi took charge, while other GoM members didn't give much thought into it, Midorima spent time thinking about Akashi and observing his attitude, even came up with a theory about "two Akashis".

Other than as a friend, Midorima saw Akashi as a rival. He always lost to Akashi, but would always come back for a revenge next time, hoping to finally defeat Akashi. He had been chasing after Akashi's back like that - in that sense, maybe Akashi could be seen as the embodiment of the goals he wanted to achieve.

Speaking about Midorima's rivalry with Akashi, I saw someone said this which I find reasonable and is likely the case: Midorima hopes to beat Akashi, but deep down, he does not actually believe that Akashi can ever lose. But he tried and tried anyway.

Midorima and Akashi trusted each other wholeheartedly. According to Midorima, his trust in Akashi never wavered for a second. Despite the hardships they've faced that threatened to ruin their relationship, Midorima still believed in Akashi enough to pull off Sky Direct 3P Shot without a hitch. Takao also commented that Midorima and Akashi complement each other really well.

In conclusion, Midorima and Akashi are important to each other. Midorima was the only person in the team who Akashi shared his thoughts and worries to. Midorima viewed Akashi as a close friend and rival who he respects and cares a lot about.

I kinda feel like talking about Kuroko's basketball so I'm gonna.

Okay so let's first talk about each characters philosophy on basketball.

Kuroko: as the main character, his philosophy is the one tested most frequently and eventually wins everyone over. Kuroko's basketball is all about teamplay, hardwork, and doing everything you can to achieve victory for and with your team. Solid basketball

Kise: honestly we didn't really get to know kise's basketball before kuroko beat him and changed it, but kise still keeps his own philosophy. Kise's basketball is to be a true ace. Somebody his teammates can rely upon no matter the circumstances. He adopts kuroko's teamplay philosophy but while he finds his strength in his teammates kise does his best to carry his team through it all.

Midorima: Midorima's basketball is diligence, practice, and "doing everything you possibly can." Midorima tries his best to eliminate chances and gambling and hope from his game. He narrows all avenues to get the highest chance of winning. He isn't against teamplay he just eliminates the risk of his team failing by taking the burden on himself. Kuroko teaches him to take risks and gambles on his teammates because even his strength can be bested. His philosophy on hard work was identical to Kuroko's but midorima being unwilling to trust in others to work just as hard as him made them fierce enemies.

Aomine: okay aomine has an amazing philosophy. You hopefully remember his "the only one who can beat me is me" quote and that summarizes part of his philosophy. Aomine works to meet a rival or rivals who can get his heart racing in a game he's not sure he will win or lose when the final buzzer sounds. Aomine in many ways is the hardest working member of the generation of miracles but he had to start forcing himself to hold back and weaken so he could have some hope of challenge. Aomine's second half of his belief is to never give up, no matter the odds. He wants to be the best going against the best and wants to prove his own glory against the best.

Murasakibara: Murasakibara is an oddity. Being so naturally physically gifted gave him a bored outlook on basketball. Because he could dominate so easily he never needed to try very hard and never had to develop anything beyond I win therefore I play. I think murasakibara's basketball wasn't to show that hardwork loses to natural gifts, but that hardwork alone can't get you where you want to be. Murasakibara could enter the zone which proves he loves basketball more than anything it just took awhile for anyone to become mentally strong enough to overcome his natural gifts.

Akashi: boy oh boy oh boy. Alright Emperors eye akashi is all about perfection. Winning in the perfect way. To lord over all and to establish himself as the ultimate player beyond anything anyone can hope to acheive. Real Akashi still has parts of the perfection outlook, but its more pushing himself to make his team and him the absolute best version of themselves. Not to lord over others but because the true victory is the one against themselves. Winning came so naturally to akashi that the only opponent left to beat was himself.

The basketballs of all the players are really fun to analyze and this is totally just a quick blurb on my thoughts on them, but feel free to add your own takes or question mine. Kurokos basketball is my favorite sports anime (I mean, basketball with super powers is a pretty awesome premise) so yeah

↘ It’s really really really hard when two boys fall in love with the same girl.

↘ Not to mention the moment when five guys, who are also friends, are in the same basketball team and – to make matters worse – are from the same school as their object of sighs and the rest of the ‘opponents’.

↘ Problems arise when the captain of the Teikou basketball team asks you for help in the last year of the Junior High School. He asks you to become an additional manager who would be the team’s treasurer. This causes much more conflicts, because you’re not only in the same class with Midorima, with Akashi on the student committee, with Murasakibara you take extra classes in physics, and Kise and Aomine often ask you for help with their homework or tests. So, yes, now you will spend with them even more time.

↘ It’s begs for a huge tragedy!

↘ As you are at their trainings or games now, the boys always try to catch your attention on them. Ryouta always screams and asks you to watch him, so Daiki tells that you don’t have to look at those pathetic throws; he tells you to only look at him, because he’s better than blonde one. From the other end of the court, you can hear the bored voice of the purple-haired giant saying that ‘Mhmmm, Y/N-chin has more important activities than watching two idiots’. Shintarou thinks the same, by the way. Also, let’s not forget about Seijuurou who listens to all of this and then comes up to you with the question of if you are comfortable here and if he should reprimand them.

↘ But it’s okay. You don’t mind.

↘ Weeks slowly pass and everything flows as it always does; the three-point shooter brings you a lucky item every day, Atsushi shares snacks or drinks with you, Kise walks you home because both of you are just going in the same direction, Akashi buys you small gifts to thank you for taking care of the whole team and ace invites you at every lunch break on ‘his’ roof so that you can eat dinner with him (or take a lil nap).

↘ Of course, you don’t see anything wrong or suspicious in their behavior. You’re just oblivious and dense. You consider all their actions to be pure friendship without even realizing with what admiration all five Generation of Miracles members look at you when you all go out together and you wear your normal clothes or a new hairstyle.

↘ At the end of the year, each boy tries to please you as much as possible and at the same time humiliate the others in order to show himself in the best possible way.

↘ Did you know that Aomine brings sexy magazines to school and is afraid of the harmless bees? No? You know that now.

↘ You probably didn’t know that either, but Midorima is still sleeping with a plushie and Kise once pissed on his own bed and did it for the first eleven years of his own life.

↘ Akashi starved his fish once, press F. And Murasakibara, when he was a child, ate soil from pots.

↘ And when is finally the end date of the school year, you open your locker for the last time to change your shoes and go home. However, a faint surprise appears on your face when you see five envelopes without a signature. As you read them, you are even more surprised that each of them has a secret meeting place and a request to come. Of course you decide to see what’s going on because you’re dense as fuck.

↘ You smile gently when you see your five friends, but at the same time you hear their quarrel about which of them you like mostly.

↘ “... At least Y/Ncchi tells me that I am improving my grades so well and she’s proud of me!”

↘ “Yeah, yeah. But she shares breakfast with me, so you have nothing to brag about, you idiot!”

↘ “Ehhh? Se knows the names of my favorite snacks by heart. Also Y/N-chin says I’m cute. I think, I won.”

↘ “I don’t want to say anything, but I know her best because we were in the same class for two years, nanodayo.”

↘ “Shintarou, you’re wrong. I am on the student council with her and as captain I have had the most interaction with her since she is our manager.”

↘ You have to stop it or there will be a fight.

↘ So you greet them and they immediately smiling warmly at you. You ask if anything happened and where did these letters come from in your locker. Of course, Seijuurou wants to answer you right away, but you interrupt him once again, saying in a shyly voice that you are so glad that they have decided to say ‘Goodbye’ to you before leaving school and that they are your best friends for the rest of your life.

↘ Then Akashi loses his ability to speak and literally doesn’t know what to say when you tell them that it has been a truly amazing three years of friendship between you and them. You also hope that in the future you will still see each other from time to time to talk about life or about what will happen in your High Schools.

↘ Oh, Lord. You’re so dense. I can’t breathe.

↘ Then blonde one laughs awkwardly and nods his head as he tries to save all of you.

↘ After a short moment, you decide to hug them, thanking them one by one for their support, all the lucky items, chocolate milk from vending machine, eating dinner together and walks to home.

↘ In the end, you wish everyone good luck in their new High Schools and promise that you will meet again with them as soon as possible. You hug all five colorful letters to your chest and bow slightly as you retreat.

↘ Only then all five basket players sees, or rather hears, Kuroko calling your surname. You smile broadly as you wave your friends one last time. Your figure run up to blue-haired, immediately starting a conversation about the school you have chosen together. Yes, yes. Both of you chosen Seirin High.

↘ And then the members of the Generation of Miracles understand that they have forgotten about Tetsuya – about someone with who you spent even more time than with the rest of GoM squad; you both went to the library together, you talked about basketball together, you watched the team behavior changes and you also went out (as friends) for shakes together.

↘ Aomine is the first to laugh, catching the attention of the other four boys.

↘ “Oi, yeah. The shadow is never visible.” He says in an amused tone, shaking his head. “And Tetsu was a shadow not only for us, but also for Y/N.” He adds quietly, looking at the former teammates. “Anyway, I’ll be the one who get Y/N, none of you can beat me.”

↘ “Oh, Aominecchi, don’t think you will win when I like Y/Ncchi too.” Kise adds, turning around.

↘ “Y/N deserves better than the two of you, nanodayo.”

↘ “Ehhhh, I’m coming home. Then I’ll call Y/N-chin. I miss her already.”

↘ “Good luck then, friends. See you all at the first competition.” Akashi interrupts their argument, smiling. “We will see who Y/N will choose and which team she will support.”

↘ If they only knew that you would soon be supporting the Seirin basketball team...

anime reviews!! : Kuroko no Basket

Hello everyone! I wanted to start writing anime reviews on here because I’ve been watching some really great shows and I want to share my thoughts. I was really excited to start knb because I play basketball and I heard some really great things about it.

When it comes to sports animes, this show is definitely my favorite. Overall, I really love the characters and I think the show has a lot of intensity and exciting moments. There is definitely some exaggeration with skill and play, but I actually think it adds to the appeal of the show. This show was hard to get into. Season 1 definitely isn’t as exciting as season 2 or 3. I think part of the reason why it was hard to get into for me was that I was comparing it to haikyuu. I really love haikyuu, but these two shows are definitely different. Knb is a bit older, and while there are similarities, both shows are different in a lot of ways including characterization. I personally like Kuroko no Basket better (please don’t hate me for saying this lol).

I think there are some amazing characters, and my favorites are definitely the Generation of Miracles aka Kise, Aomine, Midorima, Murasakibara, and Akashi. These characters aren’t introduced immediately in the beginning. I love the openings, especially the 3rd one (ITS SO good).

Even though it was hard to get into for me, I absolutely grew to love it. I definitely recommend if you like sports animes.

Knb was very popular around 2015 and it seems now the fandom has kinda died out. BUT ever since it was announced that season 1 was going to be available in Netflix I started seeing more content!! I’m really hype because I hope that more people start watching it.

You End Up Desk Mates and Find Out Who They Are (Part 2)

Sorry for the long title here’s the link to part 1. I hope everyone enjoys!

Kise:

Once you and Kise got to the classroom you look around for Yui. She gives you a wave and her eyes widen when she saw who you were with. "See you later Kise. Thanks for the help." You give him a smile and walk over to Yui who is still in slight shock. "Close your mouth a bug might fly in." You warn giggling gaining the attention of some of the boys, but it wasn't like you noticed.

"You walked in with Kise." She says snapping out of it.

"He was showing me where the classroom was since we are in the same class, and I lost in the pack of fangirls." You explain as if it was no big deal.

Yui asks you. "You know he is is right?"

"You said he was a model." You respond tapping your chin thinking.

Yui lets out a sigh a shakes her head back a forth. "Yes that is true, but he is also part of the Generation of Miracles."

You snap your fingers together. "Oh, aren't they the guys who are good at basketball or something like that."

Yui sweat drops at your response. "Yes, and they are extremely good at it. Have you been living under a rock or something?"

"I went to an all girls middle school, and anything to do with boys was few and far between."

"Well that explains that and something else." Yui says nodding her head. "Also you poor thing. No guys for three years; that is just sad." She pats your shoulder sympathetically.

"What are you ladies talking about?" A voice says from behind you. Yui just looks shocked; you turn around to see Kise.

"Oh hi, Kise. We were talking about you being part of the Generation of Miracles." You answer truthfully. Yui then slaps you upside the head, and this causes the blonde haired boy to laugh. "Geez Yui what was that for."

"You don't just tell a guy you were talking about him."

"You don't?" You tilt your head to the side confused. "Oh can I get your autograph. I have never known someone super famous like you before." You say taking a small notebook out of your bag.

"No you don't." Kise say joining in on the conversation. "But I'm flattered that you were talking about me. And I would love to." He signs it and hands it back to you.

"My bad, and thank you ." You apologize and thank. Before Yui or Kise could say anything the sensei comes in.

"Ok everyone please find your desks they should have you names on them. Also you can't switch with anyone." Everyone scatters trying to find their desk. At last you found yours and as it has it your desk mate was Kise Ryota. It was either irony or fate. (Or the author.)

"It looks like we're desk mates (L/N)-chii." Kise whispers to you as class starts. You just nod and smile getting ready for your first day of school, but you didn't notice the dark auras and glares you receiving from some of his fangirls.

Kuroko:

You tighten your grip on Kuroko jacket as he moves through the hall; you didn't want to lose him again. You mange to make it to the classroom fairly quick. "Thank you very much Kuroko."

"Your welcome (L/N)-chan." Kuroko says nodding. You glance around the room not seeing your friend Sasha Carter.

"Kuroko," You look at your side to see he was gone. You look around the room carefully and notice him sitting at one of the desks alone. You quickly walk over and sit down next to him. "Kuroko is it ok if I sit here?"

"You can (L/N)-chan." He answers look at emotionlessly.

"Are you joining any of the clubs?"

"I'm in the basketball club."

You look at him skeptically, but you remember what your friend told you. Don't judge a book by its cover. "Really that's cool. Basketball is my favorite sport."

"Did you join the girls team then?" He asks.

"No, I'm already part of a team. Some people have compared us to the Generation of Miracles, but I don't know who they are and I haven't seen them play before so I have no clue." You say. "But from what I heard they are way better then us, if it all true."

"I'm part of Generation of Miracles, and why don't know who they are?" Your eyes widen in shock. Kuroko is part of the miracles, you weren't expecting that, and you found it a little hard to believe. But you never know.

"Really that is so cool. Also I went an all girls middle school so anything to do with guys wasn't really popular." You explain shrugging your shoulders. You take another glance around the class room and you see Sasha talking to a guy with red hair, and they were sitting right in front of you two. Before you could say anything sensei comes in.

"Welcome to Seirin. This year I'm letting all of you pick your seat mates. But if there are any problems I will move people around." He says sitting down at his desk.

"Can I sit with you Kuroko?" He nods and turns around quickly, but you shrug it off.

You look at your friend and the guy. "Um.... Carter do you just want to sit by me?" The boy ask nervously.

"She would love to." I says from behind giggling.

"Lucy?" Sasha asks turning around.

"Who else. And she is sitting with you." You say smirking and pointing at the boy.

"Everyone quite down. I will be starting class now." The sensei says. I glance at Kuroko who's eyes focus on the board. 'One thing was for sure. I don't think this will be a boring year.' You think to yourself.

Midorima:

You and Midorima finally make it to the class room. "Thanks for the help. There is no way I could have gotten my lucky item back on my own."

"Your welcome it's not like I wanted to help you or anything like that." Midorima he quickly looks away from with a red blush on his cheeks. You giggle and walk over to a desk looking at it it seemed to have a name on it, but it wasn't yours. You quickly figure out that the names were placed where you were supposed to sit at. Quickly you glance at the desks hoping to see your name and a last you found it. You plop down in your chair and pull out your supplies for school. Then you pull out a book a begin reading with your penguin watching around the class room.

"Cute penguin." A voice says from in front of you. You place your book down to see a black hair boy standing there with a bright smile on his face. You take in to account that Midorima seemed to be glaring at the guy. You wave at him, he turns away quickly.

"Thank you it is my lucky item for today. I'm (L/N) (F/N), what is you your name?" I say politely smiling.

"I'm Takao Kazunari. Do you like basketball?" He introduces himself with a wink. You give Takao a questioning look. "Well, with the basketball pencil you have I was just wondering."

"Yes, it my favorite sport well besides skiing." You explain relaxing a bit. (Yes, that is right you know how to ski. You are welcome.)

"Have you ever heard of the Generation on Miracles?" Takao ask.

You tap your chin thoughtfully. "I have heard of them, but I have never seen them before." You answer shrugging.

"Yes you have."

"No I haven't. I went to an all girls academy and anything to with boys wasn't really popular."

"Yes, the guys you walked in with is one of them." Your eyes widen and you look a the green haired boy. That would make sense you admitted to yourself.

"Well, I guess you were right." You say admitting defeat. "How do you know him?"

"I'm his best friend." Takao says proudly.

"No your not-nanodayo." The said person say giving Takao a look of pure annoyance and then whacking him with the monkey. You start laughing at the scene in front of you.

"Your mean Shin-chin!" Takao wails pouting.

Midorima looks at the desk next to yours and sets his monkey on top. You lean over and see his name. "I guess your my new desk mate Midorima." You smile at him and looks away blushing.

"Aww I wanted to sit with you." Takao say to Midorima. "Oh well at least I'm front of both of you." You and Midorima exchange a look and you start giggling, and Midorima looks away flustered. Soon enough the teacher comes in school begins. You looked at the boy sitting next to and you let a smile make its way on your face.

Murasakibara:

"So Murasakibara," I say looking a tall male next to you. He seemed to have chosen you for a seat mate; the teacher had left a note on the board that we could pick out our own seat mates. Right now you were trying to get him to talk to you. "Are you doing any sports." He was now munching on a bag of chips.

"Basketball." At that one word your eye sparkle in excitement.

"Wow that is great. Basketball is my favoritest sport ever." You exclaim happily.

"You do realize favoritest isn't a word right?" A boys voice says from in front of you. I turn and face him and your eyes widen slightly. There was a boy with black hair standing in front of you. His hair was hanging down covering his once you. You gulp slightly. He was handsome, but you knew fairly quick that he wasn't your type.

"Yes, I do, but is it your place to judge?” You ask innocently smiling.

"No, I suppose it is not. But I am you senpai and should address me as such." Your eyes widen with worry.

"Oh I'm so so so sorry. " You apologize over and over again.

"Muro-chin stop picking on (L/N)." Murasakibara say eating pocky now.

"Fine I'll quit as you come to practice and practice. I don't care if you are part of the Generation of Miracles you still need practice. By the way it Himuro Tatsuya ." The boy nods and walks out of the class.

"Murasakibara your part of the Generation of Miracles?" You ask.

"Yep. Have you ever seen us before?"

"I went to an all girls academy, so anything to do with guys wasn't super interesting."

"That good." He says nodding.

"How is that good exactly?" You ask. But before you could get an answer, the teacher came in a class started. It was sure to be one interesting year. You would give it that much.

Notes For Birds of a Feather (Mura & Himu)

Yay, I can’t believe I’m finally getting to post this! I’m going to try to keep the notes shorter, just for efficiency’s sake. But I did want to highlight a few things I mentioned in this chapter, for anyone who might be curious about them.

The Sensouji Temple in Asakusa

Sensouji Temple is one of those temples that’s so famous that I’m betting a lot of people have seen it before, even if they don’t remember what it’s called… It’s the one in the Tokyo area with a GIANT lantern hanging inside a gate. It’s a common stop for tourists, and just in general, especially around important cultural holidays like New Years.

So why did I include it in a MuraHimu friendship fic? Well, because Yousen has actually been pictured visiting this particular temple (or more specifically, the nearby Nakamise Street), so you could argue that the visit I mentioned in this chapter is in fact canon:

(Ahhhh I still get feelings about all the team love in that ending, IT’S SO GOOD.)

(Cut for notes about Nakamise Street, kumihimo, the real-life inspiration for Himuro’s university, and more sexuality headcanons of mine for some reason…?)

Nakamise Street

This is the side street next to the Sensouji temple, that has TONS of souvenir stands. And there’s a lot of good food too, of course! To learn more about some of the stuff you can buy there, you can check out articles like this and this.

As for the store where Murasakibara checks out the kumihino jewelry, that was based on a shop called Kiryudo, that’s located nearby! I found out more about the shops near Nakamise in articles like this one.

Kumihimo Braids

I don’t know a lot about kumihimo braiding, to be honest! But it seems like it’s pretty well known internationally. (To the point that there are a lot of books and tutorials for it in English, for example!) Basically, it’s a traditional Japanese craft, and you can buy kumihimo cords in Japan that were braided by highly skilled artisans. Historically, they were used on things like samurai armor, and they’re still used in traditional kimono clothing. Nowadays, they’re also sold as things like bracelets and key chains. (And even camera straps!) You can search “kumihimo” and find a lot of really cool designs.

I’m not a hundred percent sure where I initially got the idea to have Murasakibara buy kumihimo bracelets. (I’m guessing it was probably during my research about Sensouji.) But once I did, I just had to use it because… COME ON, IT’S A MURAHIMU FIC THAT’S ABOUT FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS. XD Even my platonic friendship fics are super over the top, clearly. //laughs

About Himuro’s University

So it’s been a longtime headcanon of mine that several of the KnB characters end up going to a sports science university in Tokyo! Their university is based on a school called Nippon Sport Science University, or Nittaidai for short, which has trained many of Japan’s most decorated athletes.

Like everything else in These Wonderful Things, this particular headcanon goes with my future verse (and future fic WIP) called The Last Miracle. Some of the characters who go to this university include Nijimura, Himuro, Murasakibara, Ogiwara, and Takao. (And I definitely want to write about that more someday, like in a side story or something… Because that’s quite the group. //laughs)

More Sexuality Headcanons, Apparently

I won’t go into this in a lot of detail, but speaking of The Last Miracle and its related headcanons… Somehow more of my sexuality headcanons about the characters ended up in this chapter? Which wasn’t planned, but I just decided to go with it. //laughs Either way, I was excited to be able to write my personal take on these two as a pair, because it was a ton of fun to write. <3

So I tend to headcanon Murasakibara and Himuro as close friends, rather than a romantic couple. (Although anyone is more than welcome to read my take on them as “friendship that could someday become romantic,” because I can totally see that too!) As for why, I’ll just let Kise and Kasamatsu sum it up from Chapter Three:

“Oh, and Murasakibaracchi was asking me about taste in jewelry. So I’m pretty sure the world is ending.”

“I thought you said he wasn’t dating anybody.”

“He’s not! God, no. No way. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t care about any of that stuff.”

I’ve had a headcanon for a whlie that Murasakibara and Himuro are both on the aromantic spectrum. And that one of the reasons their friendship means a lot to them is because they aren’t as interested in romantic connections. I don’t remember exactly when I got the idea for KnB, but I do remember reading fan headcanons back in the Livejournal days about “heterosexual life partners,” and I always thought something like that would be interesting to write about? (Although Himuro clearly isn’t heterosexual in this fic. But anyway. //laughs)

In any case, this is something I definitely want to explore more in my future verse at some point. But since I did allude to it in this story, I thought it was worth briefly mentioning!

Death champions no one.

It is but a simple truth, an eventual reality that one has to accept. Not even the greatest king nor the sneakiest thief could ever escape its clutches.

Yet somehow it still manages to elude even the most brilliant of us all. Its power of misdirection knows no bounds. Its presence lurks at the back of the mind, yet is not acknowledged until it manifests itself from what seems like nowhere and punches one in the gut.

The same holds true for seven special people: bound by friendship, camaraderie and one great love for basketball. They had such dreams, big ones—all of them including one another, despite tight lips and vehement denials. Though not outright, all seven were always in the periphery. They didn't have to say them, of course; they already knew—and nothing was going to stop them.

(But death does.)

Akashi Seijuurou died at the hospital, surrounded by a plethora of sweet-smelling flowers that masked the scent of bleach and death.

He was found by a nurse, the look of absolute peace and satisfaction of a great man etched on his aged face. "It looked like he was coming home from a long journey," she would later describe to curious colleagues, perhaps embellishing her story a bit to sound more poetic.

At age ninety-two, he had accomplished far more than what his late father had. Right after finishing his Ph.D. with flying colors, he took over as CEO for his rapidly deteriorating father, proving that he is an Akashi through and through early on in his career. He continued to uphold the Akashi name, and even brought it to greater heights. He led the Akashi Corporation fearlessly and efficiently, turning it into a powerful empire that stands among the leading zaibatsus in the world.

Unlike his father who ruled with an iron fist, Seijuurou was known to be a compassionate and mindful leader; strategic and sharp, but never ruthless. He was loved and admired by all.

"My father was a great man," his eldest son said during his funeral, with a note of pride and sincerity that was missing during a similar speech done five decades ago. "If there is anyone in this world I aspire to be, it will always be him."

The media adored Seijuurou, going so far as releasing a special magazine in honor of the late Akashi, covering everything from his early childhood to his last days. His regimes as the student council president of both Teiko Middle School and Rakuzan High School did not go amiss, as well as his strong relationships with his family and friends over the years. Even his prowess on shogi was not overlooked, highlighting some of his more interesting plays.

In the eyes of many, he will be remembered as one of the most powerful and influential men in his time. However, to a certain few, he will forever be known as the invincible captain of the legendary Generation of Miracles.

Up to this day, the driver of the simple sedan would insistently say that he didn't see Kuroko Tetsuya, age twenty-nine, cross the road that dark and dreary night.

A man in his thirties, an ordinary salaryman. Family of three. Has been living in Tokyo for most of his life. Has no connection whatsoever with the victim. No malicious intent and solid alibi. After the collision, he immediately contacted an ambulance and attempted to resuscitate the bleeding man. He was later found by police officer Aomine Daiki, who happened to know the victim.

"I didn't see him! I swear I didn't!" would always be his answer, half-crazed from the accusations and growing guilt. The police had him checked for any signs of intoxication to find none. Even surrounding CCTVs would confirm that he did not speed a red light. Curiously, it was as if Kuroko Tetsuya was a phantom, an after-image in the rain, that even the cameras hardly picked him up until after the accident.

The doctors tried to revive him, but he passed away after a few hours.

It was but an unfortunate accident in the rain, but it took away a life nonetheless.

He was survived only by his grandmother.

As with most things in his life, Midorima Shintarou's death was predicted by Oha-Asa—or as much as fortune-telling can predict death and disaster.

Though relatively healthy at eighty-seven, when Oha-Asa came on with a particular medical warning for Cancers, Shintarou knew his time had come. Like a cat who recognized its end was near, Midorima Shintarou left his home after carefully saying goodbye to his family to purchase his lucky item of the day.

As the medics came to take away the venerable doctor who suffered a sudden heart attack in the middle of the department store, no one paid any mind to the rolling marker pen that fell out of the dying man’s hand.

Kise Ryouta did not so much die as he went missing.

At forty-two, he was one of the best pilots Hyperion Airlines had to offer. But when a freak incident took out both engines, his plane crashed into the ocean with only 17 survivors.

To this day, his body still hasn’t been found.

Murasakibara Atsushi found out he was dying of diabetes when he was thirty-four years old, which he pretty much expected. If anything, what surprised him was that it didn't come earlier. He never did get to control his eating habits; it only grew worse with age. He didn't continue playing basketball after college, focusing on his patisserie training in France, thus allowing his body to deteriorate with the lack of exercise.

Akashi conferred with his doctors every time he visited, and Atsushi knew he consistently asked even Midorima and various other specialists for a second opinion. Himuro constantly fussed over him like a mother—perhaps even more than his. They were very stubborn about all this.

But Atsushi was more stubborn.

"Muro-chin," he mumbled, attempting to get comfortable on the hospital bed he easily dwarfed. "You should go home. Ami-chin must be worried."

Himuro furrowed his brows. Had he always had that much wrinkles on his forehead? "Ami understands, Atsushi. I—I want to be here, okay? Don't worry about me."

He gave Atsushi that phony smile again—the one Muro-chin gave him whenever he tried not to show him what he really felt. Atsushi had seen it so many times, even more so in these past few months, and it’s still annoying. Atsushi wondered what Muro-chin would do if he punched him this time around.

Kaga-chin would probably get mad at him if he did. Better not then.

"Just go home, Muro-chin. You look like a ghost. Eat lots of cake. That would make you feel better."

Himuro chuckled. It was weak, but it was there. "That only works for you, Atsushi."

Atsushi only shrugged, as if saying, "So?"

There's that look again, but it was so fond and teary that he could only look away.

If there was anything Atsushi could pride himself in, it's the fact that he knew himself. Denying his feelings were one thing, but he knew his body—its wants, its needs, and its limits.

He knew he didn't have long. It was getting harder to breathe. The lub-dub in his chest was getting slower, heavier. His joints constantly ached, irritating like an itch he couldn't scratch.

Regretting his (admittedly) bad habits had no merits. For one thing, he never regretted eating what he did. (Though that wasabi-barbeque-pina colada-mix-flavored pudding was quite close.) Maybe he should've gone back to playing basketball, even from time to time, but he couldn't really bring himself to regret it. If anything, he regretted being in the mercy of nurses who refused to give him what he wanted to eat.

Even in the hospital, he kept requesting for his snacks, sometimes even going so far as rejecting his doses when they didn't comply. The nurses were quite exasperated with him. A man of such hulking stature—not to mention diabetic and dying—shouldn't be sulking about not getting his Maiubo.

"I promised Kaga-chin that I'd do the eating for him," he reasoned to a particularly irate head nurse.

But maybe, just maybe, his biggest regret was leaving his friends behind.

That's why he made sure to hand them snacks (smuggled in by Aka-chin) whenever they visited him—the most generous he'd ever been, really—as a simple thank you for always being there for him. He hoped that it could bring them the same kind of joy he got whenever he ate his favorite snacks.

In his funeral, his friends brought him baskets of pastries and snacks. They knew he would've appreciated those more than flowers.

Aomine Daiki wasn’t supposed to die at thirty-six, but when a perp got away from his bindings, he took the blow that was supposed to be for his partner. He died instantly.

Though he’s eternally grateful for Aomine Daiki, Tsuchiyama Kagami would wonder what made his chronically lazy and perverted senpai jump in to save him. They were just recently assigned together and based on his reputation at the station, despite being a brilliant officer, Aomine Daiki was not the type of person to play hero.

It was a question he would never get an answer to, but he would think of Aomine Daiki for the rest of his career.

Perhaps the hardest death to accept was Kagami Taiga's. Out of all of them, he was the first to go. Nineteen was too young, was it not? Everyone thought so as well.

A Modern-Day Hero, or so the papers said. The news about the fearless fireman who rushed into a burning house to save a seven-year old girl who was stuck inside. The girl made it out safely. Unfortunately, the young fireman did not: a light snuffed out too early.

"He’s a hero," the little girl's mother said in an interview, her eyes filled with tears as she held her daughter tightly in her arms. "I will be forever thankful to him for saving Hitoka-chan."

But awards and gratitude would not bring a dear friend back.

Of them all, it was Aomine who had the least control over his emotions, raging and yelling over his casket with the despair of the one left behind as Kise tried to hold him back through his tears.

He was the last of them to see him alive, just having finished a round of basketball a week before. It was jarring to see Kagami just laying unnaturally still, paler than he's ever seen him, in a tux that he was sure itched like hell had he still been able to feel.

It wasn’t fair. None of this was fair.

Never again would they hear his voice, tinged with excitement and determination. Never again would they play the sport they love together. Never again would they see him soar.

"Why the hell did you have to go and be a hero, you dumbass?"

A lot of people came to visit his remains and paid their respects. His family all the way from America, the various friends he made throughout his stay in Japan, his colleagues from the fire station, his classmates at university and his teammates, the people he’d played basketball with, and the people who was inspired by his courage; so many people who hadn’t been in the same room for years, suddenly seeing each other again in what could only be a morbid reunion.

"Mere words cannot express how much I am indebted to Kagami Taiga," Akashi said during the eulogy. "He was my—no," he corrected himself. "He was our saving grace. His light never stopped shining bright, and even after all that has happened, not once did he stop sharing that light with us. Kindly, willingly... selflessly." Akashi glanced at the white coffin, his eyes full of emotion.

"Until the day we join him in the afterlife, we will miss him dearly."
