Cake and Pears at 2am Hange x fem! reader
Tumblr media
Summary: What is meant to be a casual night out to hang with Mikasa and friends leads you to meeting the very dapper, very suave even though they sometimes remind you of a golden retriever, Hange.
This was meant to be a mafia AU and there are light mentions of it but that's not the focus. Here you'll read about a fem!reader who is 14 years younger than a nonbinary Hange but doesnt let that stop her from dating them.
Rating: Explicit

Chapter 1
First you didn’t feel like going out. Then Mikasa wheedled until you gave in, and you asked what you should wear.
“Anything is fine. Wear your regular clothes.”
And that was how you ended up wearing an ankle length black linen dress, feeling completely out of place when turning up at Mikasa’s cousin’s bar.
The plan was to have a quick drink to start off the evening. How you ended up drinking by yourself was a mystery, but you suspected it was likely due to Mikasa getting in a quickie with her boyfriend and losing track of time.
I hope the dick is good because I’m going to kill you and Eren when you get here, you quickly texted Mikasa while trying to ignore the drunken man to your right doing the most to get your attention.
“Either drink this and stop harassing our guests or get the fuck out. Your choice,” you hear someone say.
You look up to find a guy with short dark hair and an undercut who eerily resembles Mikasa pushing a glass of water across the bar top while glaring at the man bothering you. A quick glance at the man shows that he looks as though he’d been scared sober, because he takes the water and scuttles in the other direction without another word.
“Tch. Asshole,” the guy says in disgust before he flicks a dishcloth at a spot of moisture on the bar. “You okay?” he asks.
“I’m good, thanks. I would be great if my friend Mikasa didn’t have me here waiting like an idiot.”
He scoffs again. “So you’re friends with my cousin. No doubt she’s glued to that idiot boyfriend of hers.”
“I’m guessing you don’t care much for Eren,” you reply, biting back a laugh.
“Hmm,” he grunts. “She could do better, but I guess she could also do worse.”
He doesn’t offer further commentary and moves to the other end of the bar. You go back to fiddling with your phone and sipping on your drink.
Ten minutes later you get hit on again, this time by a tall blonde who is admittedly attractive but too damn pushy for your tastes.
“Don’t be like that,” she says, reaching down to wrap long, rough fingers around your wrist.
The last thing you want to do is cause a scene; not only is this a club for members only, but everyone here is at least fifteen years older than you. On top of that, Mikasa vaguely mentioned something about her cousin’s bar being a mafia hang out, but she didn’t answer or give more details when you outright asked if her cousin was in the mafia.
As you think back to the way the guy harassing you earlier looked like he was going to wet himself when the dark-haired guy glared at him, you think the answer is yes.
“Yelena, leave the young lady alone before I have Levi ban your ass,” a raspy voice interrupts in a way that seems light yet has a casually threatening undertone.
The woman named Yelena takes her hand off you and you peer around her to find the owner of the voice.
You were aware that you were likely gawking, but you hadn’t expected to see a lithe brunet dressed in a three-piece suit that clung to them like a second skin. Their hair was sort of long but had been pulled up in a partial ponytail, and a few strands framing square-rimmed glasses and a pair of warm brown eyes were the second things you saw. The unamused expression on their face was the next.
“You and I both know why you’re acting like this,” they continue, staring unblinkingly at Yelena.
You know this person came to your defense, but you can’t help feeling intimidated. Then Yelena sighs dramatically and backs up a few steps.
“No harm done, Hange. It was just a bit of fun.”
“Bit of fun, my ass. You’re only here because we like Onyankopon. Now move along.”
Yelena stares hard while slinking away and the person called Hange leans against the bar to peer down at you.
“Sorry about that,” they apologize while sticking out a hand. “Hange Zoe. I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.”
“This is my first time,” you explain after giving your name and shaking their hand. “I’m supposed to be meeting some friends here but they’re extremely late.”
“Oh? Anyone I know?”
“Mikasa and her dumb boyfriend Eren. And I think our friend Armin if he’s not glued to his computer.”
“Ohh, you’re Mikasa’s friend. Levi told us some of you would be stopping by tonight.” Hange turned to look across the room and pointed to a table. “Wanna join us while you wait?”
You peer over to see a man with shaggy blond hair sitting there, engaged in conversation with another man who had neatly styled brighter blond hair as well as a stunning blonde woman with a short haircut that fits her face perfectly. Levi, who you learn is in fact Mikasa’s cousin when pointed out by Hange, is in the middle of sliding into the booth with the two men and a lady. They all seem equal parts classy but intimidating, and it immediately sets you on edge. They’re nothing like anyone you’ve been around before and you’re in fear of making some serious social faux pas.
“I don’t want to intrude,” you protest.
“You aren’t. Besides, it’ll piss off the blonde who just got grabby with you.”
“Okay, only if you don’t mind,” you agree, picking up your glass. “Who was that, an ex of yours?”
A wry look cross Hange’s face as they lead you across the bar.
“You could say that. Say, what is that you’re drinking? It looks tasty.”
“It’s called a Red Devil. Not everyone knows how to make it but this guy with brown hair knew what I was talking about. He made it perfectly too; some people use too much gin and it tastes disgusting like that.”
“If he had on a blue shirt that’s Moblit and yup, he makes the best drinks.”
When you and Hange reach the table they introduce you to everyone. Nanaba is friendly and Miche is polite but doesn’t seem like a big talker, although Erwin and Levi have plenty to say. Hange orders you another drink without you asking and you sit on the outside of the booth, sipping on your second Red Devil while wondering how the hell you ended up at the table of Mikasa’s cousin and his friends.
You guesstimate that the jacket alone to their suits is equal to the price of a month’s rent. And you don’t know much about watches, but you definitely know what a Rolex is and every person at the table except you is wearing one. Correction, Miche and Nanaba have on his and her Patek Philipe watches.
Eventually someone else equally well-dressed joins the table, the tall man with brown hair named Moblit who happens to be the person that made your drink.
“Are you and Hange going to drink one another under the table tonight?” Levi asks, and Hange grins broadly.
“No,” they laugh. “But now that I think about it, I could use a snack. Are there any olives in the back?”
“Yes, for the cocktails,” Levi hisses, looking scandalized as though Hange suggested snacking on earthworms.
“Actually, I bought a large bag of mixed olives because I know you like them,” Erwin interjects, ignoring the way Levi glares at him.
“I thought I was the only one who ate olives on their own,” you murmur, and Hange’s face lights up.
“I guess you’ll share with me, right? Hold on, I’ll be right back.”
“Hange, don’t you break my damn bar!” Levi yells over the booth as Hange hurries in the direction of a closed door. “And bring something to put them in!”
You’re wondering why Hange needs to be told to bring something for the olives, and bite back a laugh at the image of them eating olives right off the tabletop. Soon they return, arms laden with a small stack of bowls and the olives.
Erwin hadn’t been lying; the bag of mixed olives he bought was enormous. It easily rivaled the size of a food container one would find at a food co-op. Hange tries to cut it open with a pocketknife but with speed-lightning deftness, Levi reaches over and snatches it out their grasp.
“I’ve got it, before the whole fucking thing ends up all over the floor,” he grumbles, pulling out his own pocketknife from somewhere and neatly slitting open the bag.
“You are so weird,” Miche says, watching Hange pour a generous portion of olives into two paper bowls. They stab a toothpick into a green olive atop both mounds and push a bowl in your direction.
“See, Miche? I told you I wasn’t the only one who ate olives like this,” Hange tells him, brandishing a toothpick with a black olive on the end before popping it in their mouth.
The entire situation is laughable. The idea that the stunning human in a bespoke suit has the personality of a golden retriever yet can clearly switch to that of a guard dog with a killer bite is unfathomable. Either way, you’re having a good time and don’t think the night can get any stranger. But you’re soon proven wrong.
Miche excuses himself and as he crosses you to get out the booth, he pauses and loudly sniffs your hair. Hange explains that it’s a thing he does and he means no harm, but then he says your hair smells good. Nanaba says she noticed the same thing too, and then everyone else says they also agreed.
Everyone starts throwing out names of expensive parfums that would probably take you a month or more to save for if you wanted a bottle. You tell everyone that it’s not perfume you’re wearing, they’re smelling the hair oil you used on your ends. That prompts a conversation about your tight curls and you’re explaining that your hair tends to get dry and needs extra moisture when Mikasa finally shows up. Eren is behind her, trying to pretend that he isn’t hiding from Levi and failing miserably. Armin is also there and he’s smiling nervously. Mikasa looks confused when she sees you sitting with her cousin and his friends, but her expression barely gives away anything.
“Hey brat, why’d you make your friend wait all this time?” Levi asks her.
“Eren and I lost track of time,” Mikasa offers dismissively, sniffing as she looks away.
“Tch. I bet,” Levi scoffs, narrowing his eyes and the increasingly nervous Eren. Armin also looks anxious, but mostly because he likely feels like a third wheel knowing what his two best friends were doing that caused them to be late.
“I don’t want to keep you from your friends,” Hange tells you with a smile. “Thanks for keeping me company.”
You really don’t want to leave but know it would be rude to not join Mikasa and the others. So you thank Hange and everyone else and reluctantly leave their table.
You’re oddly quiet while sitting with your friends, yet they’re too busy quarrelling over something to notice. When you cast a surreptitious glance over at Hange, they’re laughing loudly at something while slapping Miche’s shoulder. You feel a stab of envy, wishing you were the one to make them laugh when they suddenly turn in your direction and wink at you. Before you can react, they’ve turned back to their friends and you’re left wondering if you imagined everything.
Eren and Armin go to fetch drinks and when they return, Armin hands you another Red Devil and a glass of water. You notice that everyone also has water along with their drink and Eren asks Mikasa why her cousin made him also take water. The answer comes in the form of Mikasa shooting Levi a nasty glare across the bar and he returns her look with an eerily similar one.
“He hates sloppy drunks,” Mikasa explains. “This is his way of telling us to have fun but not too much fun. I watched him make someone mop up their own puke before throwing them out on more than one occasion.”
“Your cousin is scary,” Armin says, warily eyeing his cocktail as though unsure if he should drink it.
You finish your Red Devil a little too fast and become the teeniest bit tipsy—okay, you’re drunk—and decide to wobble outside, in desperate need of fresh air. Just as you take a deep breath and close your eyes, you hear the door open and someone else walks outside.
“Needed a breather?” Hange asks with an unlit cigar held between their teeth. They reach into their pocket to pull out a box of wooden matches and some other metal tubular object on a ring. “It’s a hole punch for cigars,” they explain when they see you staring. “It gives a better flavor as you smoke opposed to completely cutting off the tip.”
“Yeah, I got a little hot in there,” you reply. “So are cigars good? I’ve never tried one.”
“The right cigar is very good,” Hange explains, taking the cigar from their mouth and punching a hole into the end. They put it back into their mouth and strike a match and you’re captivated by their long fingers cupping the flame while bringing it up to their cigar. A few twirls between two fingers ensures that its lit evenly and Hange takes a few pulls and exhales a grey cloud into the cool night air. “Darker cigars—maduro they’re called— have a smoother taste. A lot of people think the lighter ones do but those tend to be harsh on the throat.”
You’re really drunk and wonder if you’ll remember this impromptu lesson on cigars, but mostly you’re enthralled with watching Hange smoke while looking like the picture of ease in their vest, the other hand in their trouser pocket.
“Would you like to try it?” they ask suddenly, and you realize they’re smiling while holding it out to you.
“You don’t mind?”
“Nah,” they reply, nudging their hand again in your direction. “Go on. Don’t suck too hard though, it’ll taste awful if you do.”
You feel awkward as you take the cigar and try to ignore the sensation of Hange’s fingers brushing against yours. Without their jacket on you catch a whiff of their cologne; something sweet yet musky with a hint of wood and vanilla. It mingles perfectly with the cigar smoke and the aroma leaves you light-headed.
Okay, girl, you really need to calm down, you tell yourself, lifting the cigar to your lips.
Normally you’d be disgusted by the idea of putting your mouth on something that was just in the mouth of someone you barely knew, but you aren’t for some reason. The tip of the cigar is damp and you brush way the intrusive thought that this is an indirect kiss, but you take a soft pull as directed and are shocked to find that it indeed tastes good.
“Nice, right?” Hange asks when they see your eyebrows raised in surprise.
“It is, actually,” you admit, handing the cigar back to them. “It’s sort of chocolatey but earthy? Makes me think of a nice latte.”
“Yes! Some people do have cigars with coffee, as well as chocolate and some teas.”
“That sounds nice.”
“It is. If you ever want a recommendation, I’d be happy to help.”
Just as you’re about to say yes, the door opens and Mikasa sticks out her head.
“Oh, here you are,” she says. “Sasha just texted me to see if we wanted to meet up with her and Jean at the diner.”
“Did any of you drive here?” Hange asks.
Mikasa shakes her head. “We took an Uber.”
“Me too,” you chime in.
“All right. If you need help getting home let one of us know.”
**
The rest of the night is uneventful and boring compared to how it started. Mikasa had her limit of alcohol and used Eren’s shoulder as a pillow for an impromptu nap. Armin’s face is flushed and he keeps complaining that he’s hot and his hair is annoying him. You dig two satin scrunchies out your purse and put his hair into two tiny pigtails and he is visibly relieved. Armin keeps his pigtails in and when Mikasa finally wakes up, she asks Eren if she’s seeing things while staring at Armin.
“I got hot,” Armin replies without further explanation.
“And on that note, I think it’s time to go,” you tell your friends. “I’m going to say goodnight to Hange and your cousin and his friends,” you add, looking at Mikasa who is laying back on Eren’s shoulder. She nods and remains silent, clearly not giving a shit.
“We’re going to leave now but I wanted to thank you,” you tell Hange, who is sitting in the booth with Moblit. “Did everyone else leave?”
“Nanaba and Miche did, and Erwin and Levi are probably making sure things are tidied up before they close. You said you all came in an Uber, right?”
“Yeah, I’m going to order one in a minute.”
Hange reaches into their vest pocket and pulls out their phone. They tap at the screen a few times and then hand it to you. “Just put in wherever you want to go.”
You see that they’re booking an Uber pool for you in an SUV which you know costs a grip.
“I’ll pay you back,” you tell Hange, and they wave dismissively.
“No need. The only thing you need to do is make sure you all get home safely.”
Hange waits outside with you all and you’re disappointed when the driver arrives faster than you anticipated.
“It was really nice meeting you,” they tell you, taking your hand and stroking the top with their thumb. That small touch leaves you speechless and you want to say more but Mikasa is yelling for you to get in the damn truck.
“You too,” you tell Hange, flashing them a smile before getting in the truck and shutting the door. You watch their retreating figure out the window until you’re out of sight, and then you feel immense regret at not asking for their phone number.
Shit.
“You like Hange, don’t you?” Mikasa asks a week later when you two are having a girl’s night at her place, although her sentence sounds more like a statement.
“What makes you think that?” you ask, wondering how the hell you’ve been caught.
Mikasa shrugs, leaning in close to a mirror and relining her lower lids with a smudgy black eyeliner pencil. “It was obvious that night. Well, obvious to me that is.”
“How the hell could anything be obvious to you? You were two hours late!”
“I only needed ten minutes at most to figure out that you like Hange,” Mikasa continues, now working on the other eye. “You wouldn’t stop looking at them.”
“Well, they’re good-looking. So they are non-binary, right? I didn’t want to be rude and ask since I’d just met them but that’s the impression I got from listening to everyone else speak.”
“Yeah, they are.”
“Cool. There was a woman named Yelena there too. She’s Hange’s ex?”
“She is, that bitch. They broke up a few months ago because Yelena’s a conniving, manipulative asshole. Levi didn’t like her from the start. Although it’s not as if he likes many people from the start.”
“He’s probably good at sniffing out bullshit,” you tell Mikasa, thinking back to her stern-faced cousin.
“He is and it’s annoying at times. He’s rarely wrong though, not that I’d admit it to him. Anyway, should I ask Levi for Hange’s number so you can text them?”
“No! I can’t do that.”
Now Mikasa is lining her lips in black, and you see her eyeing you through the mirror.
“Why not?” she asked, leaning closer to perfect the sharp lines at her cupid’s bow.
“Because I… I don’t know.”
Mikasa sighs and turns around to face you. “Listen, I know you’ve always been too shy to flirt with someone who wasn’t a man, and I get it. Men are simple as shit and think a girl likes them if she blinks in his direction. But Hange isn’t some big bad wolf who’s going to attack you. You two can meet for coffee or something casual.”
You know that Mikasa is right, and there’s a stretch of silence before you speak again.
“Fine. Text your cousin. But if Hange isn’t interested, do me a favor and please don’t tell me.”
“You got it, you dramatic weirdo. Honestly, you’re weird and Hange is weirder. You two should get on like a house on fire.”
“That’s an awful analogy, Mikasa,” you groan, flopping over onto your other side. “Can you do my makeup when you’re done?”
The corner of Mikasa’s lip lifts slightly and you know your tactic to distract her was fruitful. For some reason, Mikasa loves putting eyeliner on all her friends. Eren fussed that it made his eyes itch, but Armin allowed Mikasa to do whatever she wanted. You also didn’t mind; you found that someone else doing your makeup was relaxing, and sometimes you fell asleep and let Mikasa do whatever she wanted.
“You’re actually going to let me do your entire face?”
“I’ll do whatever you want me to do, Yoda.”
“Ugh, like I said—weirdo.”
“Yeah, but you love me.”
“Sure. Now be quiet while I clean your skin.”
You’re lying flat on Mikasa’s bed while she swipes a cotton pad soaked with micellar water across your cheek when you speak again. “So what else do you know about Hange?”
“They’re older than us but you know that already. I think they’re forty? Something like that; I only remember because I know Levi is a few years older.”
“Wow, I figured they were a few years older than us. I didn’t think there was a fourteen-year difference.”
“Yeah. They’re also smart as hell. Two doctorates I think and run a lab. Also an adjunct professor if I remember correctly.”
“Well now I’m a little intimidated,” you admit quietly.
“I don’t know why. This is the same Hange who blew up hard-boiled eggs in the microwave at Levi and Erwin’s house because they forgot that you can’t microwave eggs.”
“Okay, that’s actually funny.”
“It is, but the runt didn’t think so. He cursed out Hange, made them scrub it twice and cursed them out some more when they didn’t clean it to his standards.”
You think back to Levi fussing about Hange spilling olive brine all over his bar and fight back a laugh.
“I had a good time with Hange and their friends until you and Eren came. They’re really funny.”
“Yeah, they’re cool. I’ve known most of them since I was a kid.”
Mikasa is now working on your eyeliner so you stay quiet so she can concentrate.
“Let’s go outside when I’m finished your makeup,” she says, using a short eyeshadow brush to buff out the pencil liner. “I need to smoke and I also got that wine you like.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice,” you reply with a tiny grin.
Twenty minutes later, you and Mikasa are out on her balcony that’s been decked in orange lights that were meant for Halloween but are year-round decorations for her. Mikasa brought out her phone and speaker and a darkwave mix is playing in the background while you two puff on cloves and sip wine.
“I texted Levi for Hange’s number, by the way,” Mikasa says casually, blowing a puff of smoke out into the night air. “No doubt he’s wrapped around uncle Erwin right now so his phone is probably turned off.”
“Shit, thanks Mikasa. Now I’m going to be a nervous wreck all night.”
“I have something stronger than cloves if you want. There’s edibles and gummies; pick your poison.”
“I’ll keep that in mind, thanks.”

Hola Flor!

Maybe if I want more they/them nonbinary Hange Levihan fics I will have to write them myself… I just want more of Levi affirming Hange’s gender. I also want more of Hange being viewed completely independently of their gender. They are just there, and whoever they date is at least a little bit gay by definition.

B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Minors and Ageless blogs dni <3
Hange loves their hands, rough from years of use with callouses built up from ODM gear. They are proud of them, and they love the way you react to them. They love it when they catch you staring, eyes blown out and red dusting your cheeks.  They love the look of their hands on your back, how small you seem in comparison. Or how they can envelop one of your breasts in one hand, deeply satisfied with the ability to simply hold. They especially love the view of your pretty skin flushed, marred by their handprint. Or the look of their hand splayed across your neck, your lips puckered in a pretty ‘o’ as you breathed shallowly, eyes lidded as you looked up at them. God, it made them melt.
Hange is a boobs person, through and through. They adore how your chest heaves as you try to catch your breath as they lead you into an orgasm, stuttering gasps leaving you as your thighs lock tight against them, holding their hips tight to you. They love the way your blush spreads down your chest if they push hard enough, a splotchy pink that covers your skin. They love marking up your boobs, biting into the side hard enough to taste blood, holding you down as you keen against them. Leaving dark crimson marks down your sternum, taking time to make sure they’ll last hours, even with your accelerated healing. Sucking bruises around your nipples, ever so careful to avoid the actual pink flesh, until you’ve got a nice circle around your nipple, and goddamn will they make sure the marks are even. They loved to play with them as they eat you out, smiling against your cunt as you arched into their hands.

Belated birthday
Characters: Levi Ackerman / Hange Zoe
Wordcount: 1160 approx.
Modern AU / SFW / established relationship / non-binary Hange / swearwords
Tumblr media
Walking back home through the park was not so bad after all, Levi thought to himself. He had been reluctant to Hange's suggestion at first, arguing that the pie would never be baked by tea time.
They had already wasted enough time wandering among the stalls at the farmers' market to purchase some veggies after lunch, he had argued. But of course they could never take 'no' for an answer, could they?
So they had insisted, all puppy eyes and irritating whines, tugging his coat sleeve, begging him between kisses on his cheeks or neck, squeezing his arm between theirs.
And obviously they had pestered the shit out of him until he gave in, frowning in annoyance and rubbing his temples as he felt the headache coming.
When he thought about it, Hange’s beaming smile had been worth the relinquishment, lighting up their face and making his heart melt in the process. And strolling through the park together arm in arm only added to the warmth that started to spread in his chest, reviving the memory of their first date one fall years ago.
Rays of pale sunlight played through the russet foliage, piercing the light mist. A swift gust raised a whirlwind of fallen leaves every once in a while, scattering them across the path. Levi took a deep breath, taking in the relaxing quietness of early Saturday afternoon, relishing in the sweet undergrowth smell of the earth.
The crisp autumn air stung his ears and the tip of his nose but Levi couldn't care less, not when he felt the gentle touch of Hange's warm body pressed against his side as they walked. Not when their eyes sparkled with sheer joy as they babbled about how beautiful the elms and maples were this time of the year. Not when they squeezed his arm as they pointed out a squirrel hopping from branch to branch.
“...and the way their eyes are positioned allows them to see behind them, can you believe it, Shorty?” Hange exclaimed, snapping him off his reverie. “Nature is so fascinating, I’ll never get tired of learning more about it every day of my life!” they enthused.
Every day of my life. The words echoed in Levi’s head and swirled around for a while, leaving a sweet sensation in their wake. He turned to Hange, smiling softly as his gaze wandered over their handsome face. He slowed his steps, gently holding them back and pulled them into him.
They giggled and slid an arm around his neck when he leaned in to kiss them on the lips, a brief and chaste kiss, something featherlight and heartfelt, his eyes fluttering shut for a few seconds. He was caught in the moment, oblivious to the affection he displayed in public, but it felt so right his heart swelled with fondness in his chest.
Snapping out of his trance, he slipped his hand in Hange's, intertwining their fingers, and resumed walking.
“Come on, Four-Eyes, let’s get home before we freeze our asses off!” He blurted out.

Levi was glad they could finally mark Hange’s birthday. Nothing too fancy though, just their friends coming over for tea and apple pie, an opportunity to catch up on each other’s lives, a chance to share a good moment of friendship and show how much they all loved Hange.
Their last project at work had kept them busier than usual, delaying the celebration for weeks. This week-end was the first one in months for them to enjoy free time so, before getting to cook, Levi had insisted Hange settled comfortably on the couch with a soft blanket and the book they bought before coming back home.
Lulled by Hange’s blabbering, Levi had prepared and baked the pie in no time, letting his mind wander to his bedside table. Levi smiled. There, in the drawer, Hange’s birthday gift was nestled between neatly ironed handkerchiefs and a box of mints.
He had bought it on an impulse months ago, his gaze drawn to it as he walked past the store window. It reminded him of the golden amber hue of their eyes, those eyes which held the most beautiful shades of fall, those eyes so entrancing and expressive he could never get tired drowning into.
A slight blush of anticipation crept up his face as he thought about how surprised Hange and their closest friends would be. He imagined their fingers feverishly tearing the pumpkin patterned paper. He imagined them gasping as they opened the small box. He imagined them beaming as they lifted their head to look at him. And the butterflies fluttered in his chest.
“Oh my, it smells so good, Levi!” Hange exclaimed in a cheerful tone as he took the pastry out of the oven, a sweet aroma wafting from the kitchen. “Can I have a teeny-tiny slice, please?” they begged.
“Hell no, Four-Eyes!” he replied without turning back, sliding the cake onto a plate. “It’ll ruin the whole damn pie before anyone can see it!”
“But it’s for my birthday!” they whined.
“I-said-no!” His tone cut short any retort. “Besides, it’s still too hot, tis gonna burn your tongue and shit!”
“You’re not funny, Shorty,” they pouted.
He rolled his eyes. “Sure, Four-Eyes. If you say so.”
Tumblr media
Shining spoons and a china sugar bowl elegantly set out on the tray next to the floral patterned tea set, the birthday candles placed on the apple-pie, autumn flowers nicely arranged in a vase… Levi let out a sigh of satisfaction. Everything was ready.
He headed to the bedroom for a quick check in the mirror and opened his drawer to take the wrapped box with a trembling hand. He felt weird. Shy and nervous, giddy and thrilled, wobbly and excited, all of these at the same time.
In a few steps, Levi reached the window, opened it to let the bracing autumn air in. He let his eyes wander over the golden foliage of the trees along the street below and took a deep, invigorating breath.
He had been waiting for this moment for months and now was not the time to flinch. Slipping the gift into his pocket, he pulled himself together and walked back to the kitchen to brew a cup of espresso for Hange.
Levi stopped in his tracks as soon as he glanced into the sitting-room. The autumn sun bathed the room in golden light, softly warming its atmosphere and highlighting Hange's handsome features.
They looked comfortable and relaxed, cozily huddled on the couch, their book now neglected in favor of Sawney. The couple’s ginger cat purred and squirmed shamelessly under Hange’s petting. Their voice was gentle and loving as they cooed to the fur ball, a soft smile spreading over their pretty face.
He took in the endearing sight for a while, relishing in this sweet, heartwarming sensation. In this very moment, looking at his beloved Hange, he finally felt like home.

Cake and Pears at 2am Hange x fem! reader (ch 2)
Tumblr media
Summary: What is meant to be a casual night out to hang with Mikasa and friends leads you to meeting the very dapper, very suave even though they sometimes remind you of a golden retriever, Hange.
This was meant to be a mafia AU and there are light mentions of it but that’s not the focus. Here you’ll read about a fem!reader who is 14 years younger than a nonbinary Hange but doesnt let that stop her from dating them.
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Nonbinary Hange, gothkasa, Strap on sex, loss of virginity with strap on, this is smutty as hell and I have no regrets, side Eruri, Side Eremika, Squirting, Oral Sex, Fingering, also side Mikenana, Yelena needs her ass kicked, age gap, but not a creepy age gap I promise, I had to do so much research about strap ons for this damn fic

Chapter 2
You were nervous the entirety of that following week, unsure if Hange was going to contact you. After going through several scenarios in your head, you finally put on a horror film to serve as a distraction. Just as you began screaming at the screen, telling the main character that she was an idiot to go out into the dark to investigate a strange sound, you got a text from an unfamiliar number Thursday evening.
‘Hi! Sorry it’s late, but I didn’t want to keep you waiting. It’s Hange, we met at Levi’s bar. If you were waiting, that is. I don’t want to assume. I’d love to meet you for lunch or coffee one day if that’s okay.’
A full-on scream left your mouth, and immediately you felt like a jackass. You weren’t in high school and Hange wasn’t your first crush, but somehow you were easily reverted to a swooning schoolgirl.
It was a few minutes before you replied, not because you wanted to play it cool but because you felt like an idiot and didn’t know what to say. Finally you told Hange that you’d love to meet them for coffee.
You insisted that you were fine with meeting at Starbucks, but they were adamant about wanting to take you to some café you’d never heard of.
“It sounds like Hange finally texted you,” Mikasa says dryly when you answer her call the next afternoon. “Does this mean you’re going to stop moping around like some sad emo?”
“I was not moping and I wasn’t acting like an emo,” you protest.
“Yeah, anyway. So are you two going out soon? Please tell me you made plans.”
“Yes, Mikasa, damn! We’re going to meet up for coffee next weekend.”
“Great,” she replies in a dry tone. “I’ll be there bright and early to do your hair and makeup. Also to do an outfit check because you know when you get nervous that focusing on anything is like trying to hold onto a snowball in hell.”
“Beautiful analogy, and fine. I’ll let you know what time when I speak to Hange again.”
As promised, Mikasa shows up bright and early, smelling of clove cigarettes with her makeup kit in tow.
“Have you showered yet? Did you wash your face? Did you moisturize and put on spf?” she asks in a tone that sounds somewhat accusatory.
“Yes to all of the above, boss,” you tell her mockingly. “And I’m not wearing this,” you continue, gesturing to your old Siouxsie tee shirt and leggings. “I sweat when I get nervous and I didn’t want to ruin my outfit.”
“Well of course you’re not wearing that,” Mikasa says, rolling her eyes. “Let’s go, I want to see what you picked out.”
Your date outfit is laid out at the foot of your bed, and Mikasa eyes each piece critically. A simple but cute blouse, skirt, cardigan and boots all in earth tones is what you picked out.
“Okay, that works with the type of makeup I have,” Mikasa announces while shoving you into a chair.
Your best friend’s brusque manner of speaking was completely contrary to the way she delivered personal attention. Perhaps that was why your friend group had no issue with letting her practice makeup on them; it was relaxing enough to make one fall asleep. And that was why you found yourself almost dozing off from the almost ASMR-like sounds of compacts snapping shut and different brushes stroking over your face.
Mikasa works on your hair last, and you move your head as directed when she uses a spritz bottle to revive your curls. She arranges it in a style that is cute but also out of your face, which she knows you hate. Your makeup is perfect; Mikasa has the ability to do makeup that almost looks like a filter on one of those apps. There’s just enough color on your eyelids, cheeks and lips and you’re enthralled with everything.
“Yes, I know, my work is impeccable,” Mikasa tells you as she begins repacking her makeup kit. “Now get dressed.”
“You’re so damn bossy. But I love you anyway.”
***
An hour later, you drive to a quaint part of town that you’d only driven through. The coffee shop turned out to be gorgeous; instead of traditional tables and chairs there were squishy sofas and armchairs, and a real working fireplace. Everything was done in warm tones, and decorated with autumn and Halloween items as it was the beginning of October. You asked the waitress if you could take a cornered window seat, since there were two comfortable looking armchairs with a low antique table in between. waiting in a window seat, hoping that you wouldn’t have to wait long.
One in the afternoon was the chosen meeting time, and it’s five after when you get a text when they apologize for running late. When they finally arrive and find you sitting at the small table with the open menu spread out, they immediately grin and wave.
“Sorry, sorry,” Hange says after they sit down, taking the jacket that was thrown over their shoulder and draping it on the back of their chair. As they move you try to avoid the graceful column of their throat that’s peeking out from the unbuttoned collar of a light blue button down. Their long legs are encased in slim, tan trousers and they have on a matching red belt and suspenders. Their shiny auburn hair is messily pulled back just like before to expose a slanted smile, and you can feel your heart kick up a notch. “It took me forever to find my car keys.  I swear, I could trip over them ten times in an hour when I don’t need them but the moment I do? They sprout legs and walk away. You look amazing, by the way.”
“Thank you, so do you. I almost wondered if I’d got stood up,” you say jokingly, and Hange looks aghast.
“Definitely not!” they reply adamantly. “Levi told me I was a dumb ass for not asking for your number that night, along with Miche. But after that graceless encounter with my ex, I didn’t want to seem pushy.”
“Nah, you would have definitely got my number,” you assure with a grin. Just as you lean forward with an elbow on the table, a waitress comes over and asks if you two are ready to order.
“I didn’t get to ask you much about yourself the night we met,” Hange says after you two have placed your orders. “You let me ramble on and didn’t stop me.”
“I liked listening to you,” you admit with a shy smile. “What do you want to know?”
“Ehh, anything. Favorite food? When’s your birthday? What are your hobbies? Do you have any pets and if so, can I meet them?”
You tell Hange about yourself and they do the same. You find out they’re a chief scientific officer of a lab on the outskirts of the city. That in itself sounds fascinating and Hange is all too eager to talk about their work.
“Wait, I thought you and Levi and everyone else…” you trail off, wanting to ask about the whole mafia thing but unsure if that question would be well received.
“Oh, that,” Hange replies with a small smile. “Let’s just say it helps to have someone around with my background.”
“I gotcha. Do you have any pets?”
“No, unfortunately not. I like cats but my place isn’t exactly the safest place for one.”
“I could always see if there’s a cat café. Maybe we could go together.”
“Cat cafes?! Those exist?!”
Hange looks so excited and adorable that you want to kiss them.
The date lasts a little over two hours. Despite the age difference, you find that you and Hange have a lot in common and a million things to talk about. You’re sure you could have talked to them some more only the waitress is apologetic when she brings the check, stating that they have a two-hour seating limit.
When you reach behind the chair to grab your purse, Hange immediately stops you.
“It’s my treat since I invited you,” they continue, pulling out a wallet to withdraw a silver card and place it in the bill holder.
“Fine. But can I leave the tip? The waitress was really nice.”
“Something tells me it’s futile to argue with you so I’ll concede,” Hange tells you teasingly.
Once the bill is paid, you and Hange head out to the parking lot. It’s clear that neither of you are ready to part ways just yet, and you end up standing outside talking for another twenty minutes.
“Okay, as much as I hate to say goodbye it’s clear that you’re cold,” Hange tells you when they notice you shivering despite your upper half being covered in a thick cardigan.
“I don’t either,” you tell them in a pained voice with a grin, “but yeah, I am getting a little cold. This is that weird part of autumn when it’s hot one minute and cold the next.”
“Well I’m hoping we’ll see each other again? Sooner rather than later?” Hange asks hopefully.
“Oh trust me, we will,” you admit. “I had a good time today. This was nice.”
“Yeah, it was,” Hange sighs, slumping back against their car door. Then they straighten up and sort of turn towards you. “Is it okay if I hug you goodbye?”
“Yes, it’s definitely okay,” you answer, and immediately step closer to them.
“Damn, you smell good,” you murmur against their neck upon catching a whiff of what smells like tobacco and sweet vanilla.
“So do you,” Hange says in a similar tone, their head almost buried in your curls. “Your hair smells amazing.”
“You aren’t making us having to part ways any easier,” you tell them in a slight whine.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop.” Hange lets you go and reaches into their pocket for their car key. “Will you let me know that you got home safe?”
“Will do!” you reply, turning to get into your car.
***
When you text Hange upon getting home, they immediately text you back and tell you that it was nice to see you and they look forward to your next date.
Later that evening after dinner and a bath, you find yourself online searching for a local cat café. You’re surprised to find a cat café that isn’t too far, but it’s a thirty-minute drive away.
You text Hange and ask if they’re busy next Saturday and if not and they want to hang out, you’d love to take them somewhere. Hange calls you pretty girl and says they’ll go anywhere with you. They also state that they’ll meet you at your house if that’s fine because their house isn’t exactly close to anything.
Hange is excited to be in the passenger seat and is surprised when you let them connect their phone to your car so they can put on a playlist.
“You really don’t mind?”
“Nah,” you reply. “There isn’t much I don’t listen to so I’m sure I’ll like whatever you put on.”
The easy beat of indie music fills your car, and you laugh after hearing a handful of songs by bands you also listen to. Talk of music and bands you both like takes place the rest of the ride, and soon you’re pulling up to the destination.
“What! You found one!” Hange yells when they see the glass window of the cat café. On it are adorable hand drawn kitties frolicking about between mugs and plates of desserts.
They continue losing their shit after you two walk inside, and soon they’re seated with a latte that has a cat face drawn into the foam, which goes ignored for the hazel-eyed grey tabby who leapt onto Hange’s lap to sniff their sleeve.
“Ooooh, aren’t you cute!” Hange coos, holding out a hand. The cat ends up shoving their head into Hange’s palm, demanding to be petted.
While Hange is busy meeting the demands of their new furry friend, you slip away to find a dispenser that sells cat treats. After you return to the table, you slide some of them in Hange’s direction and they immediately pick up one and the cat politely takes it from their hand.
“Oh my goodness, he ate it! What a good boy!” they enthuse, happily stroking his head.
The rest of the afternoon finds you and Hange seated on the floor near the cat towers, dispensing treats and cuddles. A striped tabby with white socks found its way to your lap and keeps hugging you, and you laugh when she nuzzles her face against yours.
“I want to take you home,” you tell the kitty, on the verge of tears with joy when she purrs contently as you stroke her back.
Eventually it becomes apparent that multiple cups of lattes and macarons aren’t enough sustenance, and hunger drives you two to finally leave. Then it turns out neither of you are ready for the date to be over, and you both get takeout sushi and bring it back to your place.
“Today was fun, thank you,” Hange tells you later after you’ve finished eating. Now you two are on the sofa with hot mugs of tea before you on the coffee table, and Hange is sticking their legs out straight and flexing their toes in the thick fuzzy socks you loaned them. “These are cute. And comfortable.”
“You can’t relax properly at home until you have on comfy socks,” you reply, then something else comes to mind. “Can I ask you something?”
“Yeah.”
“Why did you look surprised when I paid for our stuff at the café?”
“Did I?”
“Yes, you did.”
“Ah. I think it’s because besides my friends, I’ve never had a date offer to pay.”
You stare at them incredulously with your mouth open. “Hange… what kind of derelicts did you date?”
They give you a sort of embarrassed laugh while ruffling their hair.
“Did Yelena expect you to pay for everything? Even if she was the one who offered to take you out?”
“Ah…I think so?”
“Hange!”
“What?”
“You can’t let people take advantage of you like that.”
“Well, I didn’t think it was a big deal. I did make more money than her, which she even pointed out so—”
“That makes it even worse! No wonder Levi hated her entitled ass—whoops, pretend you didn’t hear that.”
Hange laughs raucously though they no longer sound embarrassed. “I guess Mikasa told you about that. It’s true though; he didn’t like her. Actually, neither did the rest of my friends.”
“Now Mikasa didn’t tell me this, but I’m guessing Levi said she was selfish. Am I right?”
“Yes. How did you know?”
“Lucky guess. But I know her type; there was a time when I was surrounded by selfish people but I was too involved to realize. You know that analogy about not seeing the forest for the trees? That was me.”
“I see. Was that an old boyfriend, or…”
“Boyfriend, friends, and family. I’m twenty-six now and it took me twenty-one of those years to get to a point where I no longer tolerate selfish people. It’s funny how many people no longer like you when you force them to respect your boundaries. It’s fine though; I have really great friends now.”
“You’re a good person,” Hange murmurs. “How are you single right now?”
“Have you met some of these people?” you ask, giving a dry laugh. “It’s not that hard, believe me.”
“I suppose you’re right. Though now I am curious; have you been with someone like me before?” Hange asks, leaning their head against a hand while peering at you.
“What do you mean, someone who’s super smart, nonbinary, or the whole organized crime thing?”
You say the last part in a sort of whisper and it makes Hange laugh. “You’re cute. Either or.”
“Both, but if it matters I don’t have much experience with seriously dating anyone of any gender.”
“What? That’s surprising.”
“The dating world is a cesspool,” you explain, thinking back to all the secondhand knowledge you gained at the expense of your friends and their failed relationships. “The last few guys I went out with were so charming— at first. It was a damn case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde; one demanded a blowjob because he paid for my one cider at the bar. The other ran up a $200 drink tab and claimed he forgot his wallet when it was time to pay the tab. Mind you I only had a couple of sodas because I don’t get drunk around people I barely know.”
“What the hell! How did that night end?”
“The bar owner gave him two choices—either wash dishes or go to jail for the night. I paid for my two drinks and left before he made a decision.”
“So no old girlfriends?”
“Crushes, yes. Girlfriends… no.”
“And why is that?”
“Because I was too shy to tell a girl I liked her,” you confess, cringing as you think back to the few times you made an attempt at flirting with a girl. “Though one time we all went to a club and two girls literally made me into their sandwich filling and danced with me most of the night. And by dance, I don’t mean in the ‘leave enough room for the Holy Ghost’ kind. Anyway, I asked one of them for her number at the end of the night, and she told me she was straight and seemed so offended that I even considered her like that. Embarrassed doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt.”
“They were probably using you to keep other guys away, but that’s only supposed to be done with a friend or consenting person,” Hange explained. “That way no one is hurt or offended.”
“Is that what that was about?!” you exclaim, mouth hanging open. “I felt so confused for the longest and wracked my brain but kept coming up empty.”
“Unfortunately yes.
“On the topic of dating and such, do you mind if I ask what happened with Yelena?”
“I don’t mind. Yelena and I were off and on for the last few years but things got really bad since last summer. You know what they say about ignoring red flags when they’ve been there all along?”
“Yes, unfortunately.”
“Well, that happened. The last straw was coming home to find that she’d trashed my place and stole some of my things. The only reason she didn’t finish is because Levi has a key to my place and stopped by to drop off something and caught her in the act. He told her to get her shit and get out before he snapped her neck and buried her carcass where no one would ever find it.”
“Yeah, he seems like he can be scary.”
“Only if he doesn’t like you,” Hange says brightly. “He never did like Yelena but I didn’t listen to him. He turned out to be right when he said she was a selfish narcissist with a toxic personality. But you said the same thing happened to you?”
“Well, not exactly the same but the narcissist thing? Oh yes, only it was a friend. That’s sort of how I met Mikasa and Armin. I was friends with this girl and when I turned 21, she swore we had to go to a club and get shitfaced. Personally I hate the feeling of being so drunk that I want to puke, but she and her little clique thought that was the only thing to do on the weekend. Anyway, I got ditched because she wanted to hook up with some random guy.”
“What?! That’s horrible.”
“I know. What makes it worse is I was always the mom friend who stuck to one or two drinks or didn’t drink at all, only because I knew those idiots were going to get knee-walking drunk and end up needing to have their hair held back while they puked out their guts. Actually, that’s how I met Mikasa. She found me crying in the bathroom after I was sick and she helped me fix my makeup because by then, I looked like a raccoon. I ended up hanging with her and her friends the rest of the night and they made sure I got home safely.”
“That sounds like Mikasa,” Hange replied. “She and Levi are similar like that; they look like they’ll cut you but deep down they’re both very kind. Mikasa offered to help deal with the Yelena situation but I didn’t want her to get into trouble.”
“So is Mikasa into, err, the same things as you all?”
That makes Hange chuckle. “No, Levi would have a fit if she did anything untoward, but let’s just say Mikasa can hold her own. That’s the only reason Levi isn’t too worried about Eren; he knows if he were to try anything Mikasa would turn him into mincemeat but between you and me, I think Eren is okay. He’s young and a bit simpleminded, but he’s loyal and he’d kill someone if they tried to hurt Mikasa.”
“Yeah, I believe that but damn, I just wish Mikasa would focus on the time and not his cock when we’ve made plans to meet up somewhere.”
Hange laughs raucously and even though you were being serious, you end up laughing with them.
“I swear, I’m not bitter or anything,” you continue. “I couldn’t believe it when her stoic ass met him. It was like someone switched on a damn light or something. Everything was about Eren; Eren this and Eren that. But I tolerated it because I knew she was in love.”
“So what about you? When was your last relationship?”
“Freshman year of college, I think? Surprise, surprise, it didn’t last long. He had the nerve to be shocked when I got mad at busting him screwing his lab partner. You know what he told me? ‘Well I have to get it from somewhere’, all because I declined his gratuitous offers of blowjobs or quickies when his roommate wasn’t around.”
“He sounds positively charming.”
“He held all the charm of a public bathroom at a gas station along the freeway. And not a good gas station, but a no name one with stale shitty snacks that you can only find on that one freeway.”
“And the filthy bathroom with no toilet paper and a broken door.”
“Exactly. See? You get me.”
“I like you. And this sofa; it’s dangerously comfortable,” Hange says through a yawn. “If I don’t get up now I won’t make it home.”
“I mean, I’m definitely not in a hurry to kick you out,” you reply casually. “I take naps here all the time. Say the word and I’ll grab some pillows and blankets. I’ll even grab a tee if you want to get more comfortable.”
“Well, it’s not like I had anything pressing to do tomorrow. Sounds good, let’s do it.”
A glance down at both your outfits are an instant reminder of the cat café; you’re both covered in cat hair and it makes you laugh.
“Okay, what about a shower first?” you suggest, plucking one of the hairs off your shirt. “You can use some of my sweatpants; sorry in advance because I’m sure your ankles are gonna be sticking out.”
“I’ve got these so I’ll be fine,” Hange replies, pointing down to the stripy fuzzy sock and wriggling their toes.
After taking turns in your shower and changing into comfortable clothes, you and Hange are buried beneath your comforter on the sofa. You both get through fifteen minutes of a horror movie before falling asleep against one another, and when you wake up to the sound of screaming, you realize that you’re both lying flat on the sofa. At some point you began using Hange’s shoulder as your pillow but apparently they hadn’t minded, because they’ve got an arm slung around you. You wonder if you should move but decide you’re too comfortable and end up shutting your eyes.

fingering hange and eating them out under their desk while they finish up paperwork
they slide down in their chair a bit to give you a better angle, spreading their legs for you
rubbing and dragging ur fingers along their pussy, and they let out a relieved sigh (theyve been craving you all day)
ur fingers slip inside them so easily because they’re so fucking soaked, leaving a wet spot on the chair beneath them and their pussy making a pretty squelching sound as you slide your fingers in and out ..mmm
teasing them with an unbearably slow pace, only occasionally curling your fingers inside them. when they feel it they let out little whimpers of pleasure but stifle them immediately. they’re at work after all<3
lapping at their clit while pumping ur fingers in and out at a rougher pace. poor hange can’t keep quiet now, occasionally letting a moan slip out or even a “fuck” or two. good thing their office door is closed!
baby is breathing so hard now:( so cute trying to focus on their work while your tongue draws out shapes on their hard clit, and your fingers keep ramming into their gspot. youre making them feel so good <3
when they cum they cant help but let out a huge sighing moan and immediately realize& shut their mouth while riding the rest of it out, leaning forward onto their desk and muffling their sounds with their sleeve. spasming and squeezing their wet thighs together around your head, shaking uncontrollably as they cum into your mouth.
gasping from the shock of overstimulation as your mouth latches back onto their pussy to clean up all the juices they leaked out <3 poor hange is so messy, good thing they have you to clean up after them !
bonus: they finish the rest of their work so incredibly fast so that they can meet you in the bedroom. they wanna fuck you up so badly. its ur turn <3
