“Oh man, Fuck!...  Oh sorry you had to hear that call.  Didn’t mean to interrupt you enjoying your brew.  It’s just that my girlfriend makes me so fucking pissed off….  Get this, she knows I work 14 days straight busting my ass on that drilling rig.  I am about to head home for four days of rest.  That’s a 7-hour drive, each way.  So she tells me that her sister and mother are in town staying with us.  My days of relaxing are shot to shit.  And worse yet there’s no way I’m getting her pussy.  I probably won’t even get head.  Ain’t that shit?...
“Oh sorry.  I forget that I’m not with a dozen or so other roughnecks out in the field.  All they talk about is pussy.  Most of them don’t have a girlfriend, let alone a wife.  Hearing them go on and on about fucking and getting a blow job, I forget that other people might talk about something else.
“My god, I just wanted to get home and kick back with a beer and get some head.  You know the kind of blowjob that goes on for an hour and it relaxes your entire body.  That doesn’t even include blowing your wad.  You know what I’m talking about?
“Oh there I go again.  Sorry if I’m telling too much....  I do that when I start drinking.   Do you care if I talk about getting blown?...  Good.  Thought so.  What man doesn’t want head at the end of weeks of working damned hard?
“…Here’s to blowjobs!  Cheers!
“Hey Frank! Get my friend here another beer….  Nah!  Put your money away.  I got this.
“So your car broke down?...  We are one of two taverns for twenty miles.  The other is by the interstate one mile away.  At this time of day it’s quite deserted.  We typically only get locals in here.  That is, unless you are having work done at Mike Larson’s garage.  There’s not that much out here, just the garage, Frank’s tavern, the lodge, and the oilfield’s main office over there across the creek.  Was I right?  Is it your car?
“…That was not a happy nod.  So, you’re here for tonight… Oh wait, the garage is closed for the weekend.  You are here until Monday?  …Again, that nod tells me everything.  Well to make matters worse, there are no available women for at least 50 or 60 miles.  This is what this hellhole has to offer.
“I don’t know about you but it looks like it’s going to be an evening of pounding the pud.  And when I get done, I’ll use my other hand to make it feel like I’m getting a handjob from someone else.
“Goddamn my girlfriend fucked this all up.  I only had this weekend off, before I have to report back here to start filling in for a bud on Wednesday.  She thought that I would want to spend time with her fucking family.  Sometimes I wonder why I’m still with her.
“You have a wife or girlfriend?...
“…Huh!  Well, sometimes I wish I was like you, single.  But sometimes I really need to get my balls drained.  She gives great head though.  She’s the only girlfriend I had who can take my head in her throat.  I have a big schlong, and every woman I dated complained about its size.  It takes her a long time to throat me.  Most of the time I get frustrated, and I wind up grabbing her head and fucking her mouth.  Eventually it ends in her throat.  She has never taken me down to the root.
“But I really have to be buzzed to get into skull fucking the bitch.  The part she really hates is me dick slapping her.  As I said, I have a gigantic dick.  Smacking her upside her head with my cock usually throws her off balance.  So does a face slap with my hand.
“When I get in the zone, I am all kinds of aggressive.  I am only after one thing, to bust my nut.  If that means roughing up the bitch, then she’s going to get roughed up.  If I’m drunk enough, I’ll not only fuck her cunt, but she’ll take me in her ass.
“Right now, if she were here, I would be fucking her in every position in every hole.  I wouldn’t care if she was enjoying it.  I’m so fucking horny.  I would use any woman right now.  I can’t have a weekend of jerking off.  Hell, if there was a faggot, I would use him the same way.
“And it’s a good thing that I have a faggot sitting not ten feet away from me, paying attention to every word I say, licking his lips every time I mention blowjobs, and responding with awkward silence when I asked if he had a bitch back home.  No straight man acts this way.
“I would ask you if you are a cock sucking faggot, but we both know the answer.  Don’t we?  So this is what is going to happen.  I’m going to walk over there, to the men’s toilet.  You want my fat hog in your faggot throat, you follow me in.  Don’t say a word.  Get on your faggot knees and open your faggot mouth.
“I’ll give you until I drain my piss.  If you don’t come in at that time, then you better be out of here and hide in your room at the lodge.
“I really got to piss, so you don’t have much time….
“…Well fuck.  I would have thought you would have taken some time to think about it.  But OK.
“I really have to piss.  While I do that get in the stall and on your knees.  Be ready for me.  I swear, the beers just pour right through me.  Oh, this feels good—
“What the fuck?  I’m not done pissing….  Oh?  So, you are one of those kinds of faggots.  Nasty piss drinking faggot!  Oh fuck, your mouth feels good.  You are definitely getting a reaction out of my hog.  That’s it for my piss for now.
“Faggot, see how big it is?  You think you can take it?
“Jesus fuck!  Right to the root with no problem!  Holy shit.  You faggots know what you are doing.  Oh man.  This is… fuck!  Oh my god!
“Bob up and down.  Go head-to-root-to-head-to-root.  Fuck!  This is the blowjob I have been looking for all my life.  Lucky me I found me a faggot with car problems.
“Pull off.  I said, ‘Pull off!’  Look up at me.  Hold still….
“…What?  Nothing?  I just gave you one of the hardest bitch slaps I have ever given and you just take it….  Wait, what did you just say?  Did you just thank me… for bitch slapping you?
“Get up.  Get your faggot-ty ass up.  Let’s go.  Move!
“We are going to my room at the lodge.  You are going to spend your night with me.
“Pay Frank your tab and leave a good tip.  Meet me outside…  A fifty?  You know what a good tip is, that or you didn’t care to wait for him to give you change.
“OK faggot.  I have never used a fag before.  But damn, that one minute in the toilet told me I have been missing out.
“Over here.  I’m the last room.  The lodge is free for us roughnecks.  The company pays for our housing.  My room is at the end.  It’s a glorified motel room.  I have tons of beer.  You won’t get any, at least not without it going through me first.  Never did that before, but fuck I liked it.
“I plan on being here for four days.  You are going to spend your time with me and my cock down your throat.  You probably take it up your ass.  I will definitely try that out.
“Now listen up.  I have no interest in you or your dick.  I ain’t sucking you or getting fucked by you.  You try anything like that, and I will beat the shit out of you.  Understand me?...  Understand me faggot?
“And keep up the ‘Yes Sir!’  I like the sound of that.  Here we are.  Faggot this is all new for me.  But I will tell you this, I am liking what has been done so far.  I’m so ready to do this.  My cock has not lost it’s hard on.  I may never go back.  Faggot get inside and strip!”

By the way...
it was sort of last week, or maybe during the week before—I forget— when @petermorwood came downstairs to get tea while he was working on some long post or another full of guns and swords and assorted deadly weaponry—or cats, or food, or historical clothing, you know what he's like... and all of a sudden he said:
"So what about Cyber Monday?"
And I wasn't sure where that was coming from, as Peter normally doesn't spend a lot of his time being concerned about cyber stuff in general.
"Uh, why?" said I.
"Well, it's the Young Wizards anniversary month. Shouldn't you be doing some kind of sale offer over on Twitter, the way you did on Tumblr?"
My mouth kind of opened and shut again. Mostly at the moment when I think of Twitter, it's in terms of imagery involving things circling the drain at ever-increasing speed. And as far as Cyber Monday went, I hadn't really thought about it. This year I noticed that I've started kind of lumping it in with Black Friday, which mostly increasingly makes me mutter and shake my head as I see what my email box gets to look like this time of year. And since I'd been mostly preoccupied with writing issues and website crap lately, you could kind of multiply that not-caring by two. Or five. Or some power of ten.
...Yet he had a point. And what the hell, at least putting a video up there would remind people that the series existed! (Because people do seem to keep forgetting, and then suddenly bursting out with OH WAIT ARE THESE THOSE BOOKS I LOVED WHEN I WAS A KID, WAIT, YOU MEAN SHE WROTE THOSE, I THOUGHT ALL SHE DID WAS STAR TREK?!) (Eyeroll.)
"But I told them on Tumblr," I said, "that I wasn't going to do any more of these sales for the foreseeable future."
"Looks like you forgot to foresee this," said Himself, dumping half a cow's worth of milk in his tea as usual. "Look, if you do it just one more time, I bet they'll forgive you as long as you tell them about it so they can take advantage of it if they want to." Then he snickered. "And anyway, you told them you weren't going to do any Sherlock/Young Wizards fusions either, and look how that turned out." More snickering. "They forgave you for that. Eventually."
"Oh god."
"Just tell them. They'll let you off the hook." Up the stairs he went, still snickering. "Sometime in mid-2024 probably."
(eyeroll)
Dammitall, I hate it when he has a point.
So look. Here's the discount page. There's the video, two paragraphs down. You all know the drill. The "All the Wizardry" package is $29.99 today. The "I Want Everything You've Got" package is $40 just for today. Anybody who hasn't taken advantage of one of these offers previously, or didn't have the cash earlier, or wants to point somebody else at it...go knock yourself or -selves out with my abslute blessing. (Because who knows whether anybody on Twitter will notice at all, the way the algorithm's been behaving.)
And: everybody please forgive me. (abases herself before the assembled multitudes in the approved manner)
Tumblr media
(...Anyway, WTH, it's worth a try. I want to get this friend of mine a new fountain pen for Christmas, and every little bit helps...) :)
(And a final reminder: we can't sell to people in Britain / the UK, it's a Brexit problem ... so sorry about that.)

Adult Education Part 8 | Hangman x OC
Summary: Plans for the fraternity alumni fundraiser that Jessica is in charge of are starting to take shape. And things with Jake are starting to heat up. But even after she tries her best to take care of her students in her own way, she feels like she will never be successful at this college.
Warnings: Fluff, angst, swearing, smutty thigh riding, 18+
Length: 5200 words
Pairing: Jake "Hangman" Seresin x Female OC
This story is part of the Beer Boy and Sugar universe but can be read on its own! Adult Education masterlist
Seriously, who let Jake on my masterlist!? Banner by @mak-32
Tumblr media
Jessica settled down in the spare seat in her friend's office with her slightly stale peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a notebook. "Wait, say that again. Beer pong with micro brewed beer? Come on, Advanced Calculus. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the frat boy vibe?" she asked with her pencil poised over the paper.
The other woman laughed as she ate the turkey and avocado roll ups that her husband packed for her gorgeous looking lunch. Jessica would have had some of Jake's chili to bring except that she finished all of it on Sunday and Monday while she texted him about how good it was.
"It would be an elevated frat boy vibe. I spent the weekend asking my husband what he would want out of an alumni event with his fraternity, and he came up with some pretty compelling ideas."
Jessica bit into her sandwich with a frown and chewed. "But depending on the turnout, a few kegs of fancy beer could be very expensive."
She shook her head and offered Jessica some mixed berries and a honey dipping sauce which she immediately accepted. "No, because Bradley knows a guy who owns a brewery in Solana Beach. He said he'd ask for a favor if you wanted him to."
Jessica perked up immediately. She had a friend. A friend who had a nice husband who was offering to help her out. As much as she wanted to dream big and believe she could get tenure if this thing was successful, she was afraid to hope too hard.
But she couldn't help herself. "Solana Beach isn't that far away. You think this guy would really cut me some sort of deal? My budget from the school is pretty tiny."
She shrugged. "He was in Bradley's fraternity at UVA. He's actually a really nice guy, so I wouldn't be too surprised."
Jessica only had to think about it for another second. "Okay yes. I am very interested in this idea." Then she ate a few more berries and jotted down some other ideas they came up with. hors d'oeuvres from the culinary school
frat boys in tuxedos
sparkling wine
silent auction
As she was finishing the last item, the other woman asked, "How was your weekend with Jake?"
When Jessica met her eyes, she could tell she was blushing. But she laughed softly and said, "I think he's my boyfriend?"
"Really?" she asked, nearly dropping her turkey roll up on her lap. "I'm sorry, but are you serious? You and Jake are exclusive?"
"Yes," Jessica whispered. Right? Hadn't he made it clear he wasn't seeing anyone else and didn't want to? Oh shit. It had been so long since she'd done this, maybe she wasn't even doing it correctly. "Is that okay?"
"Oh my god! He just... I don't think... I don't ever remember mention of him having a girlfriend. Usually he just-" She cut herself off with a wince.
"Picks girls up for the night?" Jessica supplied. She sensed that about him and the way he'd told her some things about himself. But he also bought a new truck so he could make sure he was on time to see her. There was a lot to unpack here.
"Well. Yeah. But I'm not saying I'm surprised that he's into you! You're great! I'm just surprised in general."
"Same." She just hoped she wasn't about to make a fool of herself when Jake stopped by later during her office hours. When she uncrossed and recrossed her legs, she could feel the pull of the green lace against her skin underneath her cute pleated skirt, and her sheer stockings felt like silk.
"Aside from the fact that he once called me Dr. Tits when he was belligerently drunk at my house, Jake is, and I say this a bit begrudgingly, actually really sweet. And kind. He dropped off two tickets for a Grateful Dead cover band last night since Bradley drove him around a few times after his truck broke down."
"I'm sorry.... did you say he called you Dr. Tits? Please, I'm going to need you to elaborate on that."
-----------------------------
Jake spent Monday night making the most perfect lasagna of his life and waiting until it cooled down to pack some individual containers for Jessica. Then when he left for work on Tuesday, he left them all lined up in his refrigerator so he could grab them on his way to her office hours.
There was a guest speaker today, and Jake grabbed the empty seat next to Bradley who was trying to discreetly text his wife under the table before the lecture started.
"What's Dr. Tits up to?" he drawled, earning an eye roll.
"Text her yourself if you want to know," came the raspy response. "I'm going right to campus after work today to keep her company while she's on a phone conference," he added with a smirk. "Might stop by and talk to your girlfriend about her fundraiser while I'm there."
"That fraternity thing she has to do?"
"Yeah," Bradley replied, finally putting his phone away. "Sugar asked me to be nice to her, so I'm going to try to save her some money on beer from Beta Brewing."
"Isn't that the place that ages the beer in bourbon barrels and sells it for an outrageous price?"
"Yeah," Bradley said with a laugh. "A guy who was in my fraternity owns it. I haven't seen him in a bit, but I was kind enough to text him on behalf of Jessica. Now will you please stop calling my wife Dr. Tits?"
"No," Jake replied smoothly as Maverick called everyone to attention.
Bradley just grunted in response.
When they were released from the lecture, Jessica's office hours had already begun. Jake hadn't texted her much since he knew Tuesdays were busy for her. He just needed to get there before 7:00, because somehow if he arrived during her office hours, it made him feel like her student. And that made everything feel a little dirty. And he really fucking liked that. Plus she told him she was going to wear something sexy, and he'd been dying to find out what that meant.
He swung by his place and picked up the containers of lasagna and packed them in a cooler, and then he was off in his new truck. He could count on one hand the number of times he'd visited this part of the city before he met Jessica, but now he was constantly searching the side streets along campus for a parking spot. Tonight he found one on the same block as a familiar, blue Bronco.
Of course he got some looks from the college girls as he strolled toward the math and science building in his khaki uniform, but he was met with a glare from a man a little older than him with salt and pepper hair when he walked inside.
"Evening," Jake drawled as the other man silently examined his uniform. He could feel eyes on him as he walked toward the elevators. It wasn't like he was forbidden to be here, so he just ignored him. This ride up to her floor and the walk down the hallway had become familiar to Jake. But when he raised his hand to knock, he heard the doorknob turn from the inside along with Jessica's muffled voice. So he leaned back against the opposite wall as the door cracked open.
"Luca, there's no way I'm going to try out your skateboard."
"Come on, Dr. Reed. Just for a minute? It'll be really fun. But you probably shouldn't wear high heels."
She sighed and pulled her door open further, but she didn't notice Jake yet. "Fine. I'll try your skateboard on Thursday only after you show up on time and give me a full hour of your best effort."
"Sweet!" Luca said, giving her a high five. But now she was distracted by Jake as he smiled at her.
"Not in the hallway!" Jessica shouted after Luca who set his board down and promptly picked it back up again.
"My bad, Dr. Reed!"
Jessica was already wrapped up in Jake's arm, her lips ghosting over his. "Hey, Reedy," he whispered, and then he was being jerked away from the wall as she led him inside and closed the door, leaning back against it.
"Hi," she whispered back. Jake let his eyes drift down over her petite form and back up again, every inch of clothing and everything that was bare to him was making him salivate. She had on a rather short pleated skirt with sheer stockings and black heels. Plus he could see the telltale green strap peeking out from the white camisole as her cardigan slipped down her bare shoulder.
He swallowed hard. "You look nice, Baby. You having a good day?"
"Yes!" she gushed, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him harder this time. "My faculty meeting was blessedly canceled this morning, and I ate lunch with Advanced Calculus."
Jake set the cooler down on her desk in the tiny office so he could have better access to her body. "That's great. You call her Advanced Calculus? That's actually so cute," he said as his hands came to rest on her hips.
Jessica laughed, and he felt warm all over. "Yes, and she calls me Advanced Physics. And she's helping me plan that fraternity fundraiser along with her husband. Bradley actually stopped by a little while ago, before Luca was here. He's just the best. Advanced Calculus is so lucky."
"He's the best?" Jake asked, one eyebrow raised as he leaned down and kissed her bare shoulder making her shiver. "She's so lucky?"
When he ran his nose along that pretty green bra strap, she gasped. "Not as lucky as me."
Jake chuckled and murmured, "That's my smart girl." He brushed her hair aside and kissed his way from her shoulder up her neck to her ear while she clung to him.
She cleared her throat and asked, "How was your day?" as she tried to pull away from him. But Jake kept her right where she was.
"Better now," he promised. "Had to sit through a talk about the updates coming to my jet this summer. A new mechanical override and an updated comms system among other things."
"Ohhh," she sighed. "Did they give you a new spec sheet?" Her eyes were curious behind her glasses, and Jake was grinning.
"Sure did. You wanna see it?"
"Yes!"
"Well, that's classified, Baby."
She pouted and said, "Come on, Jake. I won't tell anyone. Can't you sneak one home with you or something?"
He ran his big hands up and down her back. "You want to work out some of the calculations, don't you?"
"Of course I do," she replied softly, and Jake was getting a little hot just thinking about her sitting in his kitchen with a pencil and a calculator. He trailed his hand down to her ass, and she was kissing him again as she touched his pins.
"If you really want to see them," he said between kisses, "I'll sneak them out." She giggled as she kissed his neck, and then his nose was buried in her hair. "God, you look so sexy, and you smell so sweet."
Her glasses bumped his cheek when she kissed his ear and raked her fingers through his hair. Every inch of the front of her body was pressed to his, and Jake just knew there was no coming back from this right now. Jessica had dressed like this with him in mind, and while her outfit was totally work appropriate, it was also a thing of fantasies. Skirts and heels and green lingerie and stockings.
"I can't seem to stop thinking about you," she said in the sweetest voice before she sucked on his lip. He wondered if her stockings were the kind that ended at her thighs or the ones that went all the way up to her waist. He needed to know. She didn't make him wait for an answer. Jessica guided him to the chair behind her desk, and he sat down a little hard. She was standing right in front of him with her gaze fixed on his pants, and when Jake glanced down, he could see the outline of his cock as he stood at attention for her.
"I'm sorry," he grunted, "but you turn me on so much."
"Don't apologize," she breathed, and he was treated to the sight of her sliding that cardigan down her arms. When she turned slightly and dropped it onto her desk, her skirt rode up her leg. Jake could see the lace trimmed top of her stocking hugging her thigh, and he groaned so loudly, her gaze snapped back to his.
"Jessica." His voice was a needy whine, and for some reason this was so much worse than when he almost fucked her on his couch. Because she was his girl now, and he wanted every inch of her well acquainted with every inch of him. "Come here." When he patted his right thigh, she obeyed him immediately, coming to stand with his knee between her legs.
Then she hesitated, and Jake didn't want to push anything. When he was just about to tell her that nothing sexual needed to happen here, he watched her reach up underneath her skirt and bend a little at the waist. His gaze shifted so rapidly from her pretty eyes to the lacy tops of her sheer stockings, he thought he might pass out. And then she started to slide that green thong down her hips to her thighs, and Jake caught the briefest glimpse of her pussy before her underwear was down her legs and her skirt fell into place once more.
"Fuck. Jessica." He was a panting mess as she stepped out of her thong and handed it to him. It was wet, and when he pressed it to his nose, it smelled incredible. And she was once again positioning herself with her legs straddling his right one before she came to rest with her pussy on his khaki covered thigh.
"Is this okay?" she whispered as her right knee nudged his cock, and his head tipped back slightly. She bit her lip and ran one gentle finger along his name tag, spelling out SERESIN while she looked him in the eye.
"Yeah," he groaned. "God. It's more than okay." She kissed him with her palm planted on his chest, and Jake was living for the way her hips rocked forward.
Her glasses and hair were tickling his face as she brought her other hand up to his neck, and then Jessica rocked her hips back and forward once again along his thigh. There was a smile on her lips as she kissed him and whispered, "You can set that down, you know."
Jake was still gripping her thong in his hand, and he pressed it to his mouth and lips one more time before stuffing it in his breast pocket. The fact that she was rubbing her bare ass and pussy on his uniform had him painfully hard, but he didn't want her to stop. This was a thousand times better than any lap dance he'd ever had before.
"You excited to see me today, Baby?" he asked, squeezing both of her knees with his hands and then guiding them up to her skirt. "This is a very warm welcome."
Her cheeks were flushed as Jake pushed her skirt up a few inches to play with the lace stockings. When he ran his thumbs along the soft, bare skin of her inner thighs, she whined his name. "Jake!"
"Fuck," he grunted, squeezing her with both hands as she rode his thigh, now gripping both of his shoulders. She was kind of jerking her hips along as her glasses slid down her nose. Jake leaned in to kiss her neck and chest as he whispered, "You gonna get off like this?" She squeaked as his fingers toyed with her stockings before he brushed her wet slit with his thumb.
"I never did before," she said, eyes a little wild now. Every time she rolled her hips back so she was sitting on her ass, she grunted a soft little sound that almost sent him through the roof.
"Baby, you can't tell me things like that and make those perfect little sounds okay?" he whispered. "Because now I need to get you off." He guided one hand around to palm her bare ass and tipped her chin up with the other. "Okay?" he asked, running his thumb along her lips. She nodded and kissed his thumbprint before he reached down and lifted up her skirt. "Holy hell," he moaned. Her pussy looked exquisite, and there was a wet spot the size of her palm on his service khakis from her slick.
While he was absolutely aching to get his cock inside her, he knew there would be time for that later. This weekend, perhaps. But right now, he thought she was close to coming on his fucking uniform. In her goddamn office. On the college campus. And he needed to make it a reality, because he could feel her wetness on his leg as she ground down against him.
So he kept his left hand on her ass, guiding her movements just a little slower as he took one more look at her pink pussy spread open for him, and he stroked her clit with his right thumb. And then Jessica was shaking almost instantly as she kissed his lips and muttered something incoherent.
"Come on baby. You're so close," he whispered between kisses. "This is so hot." Every time her knee bumped his cock, he thought he might cum in his pants, but he kept her going.
"Oh. My. God!" she whined suddenly before sucking in a deep breath and arching her back. Jake rubbed his face across her tits, nipples peaked through the fabric of her bra and camisole. And then she was coming and keening, and he eased up the pressure of his thumb and enjoyed every sound she made for him.
Jessica collapsed against his chest, lips pressed to his ear and cheek as she combed her fingers through his hair and rode out the little aftershocks. He ran his hand along her ass, stroking her until she stopped rocking gently against him. As she kissed her way to his lips, her fingers found his insignia pins just like always. Their kisses were soft and leisurely like she'd really worn herself out, and when she shifted, he grunted as her knee nudged his cock again.
She looked at him with wide eyes as she brought her hand down to his pants. "I'm so sorry," she gasped with a soft laugh. "I'm in such a daze, I wasn't even thinking. Let me take care of you."
Jake was shaking his head and immediately reaching for her hand. "Absolutely not." He would cum in an instant if she touched his bare dick with any part of her pretty body, and that was not something he was interested in at the moment.
"Why not?" she asked, looking thoroughly upset now as she pulled away from him to stand. Jake had to bite his knuckle at the sight of the mess she left on his khakis, and his cock jumped painfully in his pants.
"Baby, look what you did," he crooned, gesturing at his thigh. "It's gorgeous." But when he met her eyes, she was blushing and reaching for her cardigan. "Jessica, I can't have you taking care of this for me right now. I'm too worked up, and I'd rather have blue balls than cum as soon as you look at me, okay?"
She laughed as she pulled her sweater on, and she let Jake kiss her. "Okay," she replied softly as she looked down at his wet pants. "I can't believe I did that."
"Listen," he whispered, boxing her in between his body and her desk. "I think you should come spend the weekend at my place. Pack an overnight back and some more journals... the real sexy ones on the top shelf over there." He jerked his chin toward her bookshelf. "And I'll steal you a top secret spec sheet that could cost me some of my pins that you like touching so much."
"I could do that," she replied with a smile. "I need to go up to Beta Brewing with Bradley on Saturday morning, but after that, I'm free."
Jake kissed her as he pulled her green thong out of his pocket. "Sounds perfect. And I'm going to need you to wear this again on Saturday, okay? I didn't even get to see the bra yet."
She balled it up in her hand like she was suddenly embarrassed by it. "Alright." But he tipped her chin up again so she was looking at him.
"I can't get enough of you."
Then the sweet kisses returned before she took him by the hand and selected a small stack of journals for him to take him. "Here's a spicy one from the top shelf," she told him with a smile that made him feel weak. Then he said he would walk her and the cooler of food to her car. And she tried to hide her face against his pins when that same guy was walking through the lobby again, because Jake still had a wet spot on his pants from her pussy.
"You think I care?" he whispered to her before he nodded at the guy with salt and pepper hair. "I got my girl with me, and she got off on me."
"Jake," she gasped with a laugh, pulling him outside quickly. "He's the head of the chemistry department. And he already hates me."
"Who in their right mind could hate you?" His mind drifted for a moment to all the supposed rumors about her that were floating around. "Wait, is he the guy who got permanently banned from Chippy's?" He dug his feet in and there was no way she could pull him anywhere. "Why doesn't he like you?"
Jake was turning back to look into the building, ready to give this asshole a piece of his mind, but Jessica was still pulling on him. "Don't worry about it. Walk me to my car so we can make out." But he was going to worry about it. And yeah, he made out with her next to her car until he was starting to get hard again, which was honestly very painful now. And he was still thinking about it when he watched her pull away. He headed home to jerk off and start to consider what he could cook this weekend, but it still really irritated him that someone found something to dislike about the first woman he ever thought he could be serious with. Because in his mind, she was perfect.
-----------------------------
"Luca, focus on the math, or I'm not going to embarrass myself on your skateboard."
"Sorry, Dr. Reed."
Jessica had to keep drawing her failing student's attention back to the problem sheet in front of him, but that threat really seemed to do the trick. For some reason, this kid really wanted to see her eat asphalt. And now he was solving all of the problems correctly. "Yes! Keep going." She watched him write out the long equation for the last question, and she murmured, "One just like that will be on the exam next week."
"Sweet," he replied with a smile. "I'll study this weekend. Weather is supposed to be shitty for surfing."
She rolled her eyes but collected his paper when he was finished. "This is all correct," she said as she stood up on the other side of the desk in her sneakers and pantsuit. "You just always rush instead of taking your time. I know you can pass my classes. You need them to graduate on time."
"I know," he whined and sat back in the other chair. "I'll keep coming to your office hours."
"Just keep trying and keep studying. I know it's not as hard as you think it is."
Then he stood and picked up his skateboard, and Jessica groaned. "Okay, but only for a minute."
"You say that now, but I think you're going to love it," Luca said as she followed him out of her office and down the hallway. "You're at least fifty years younger than everyone else who works here. You might think skateboarding is fun."
Jessica had to stifle a snort as they walked past Dr. Leeland's open door where he was napping in his chair. "That's not polite, Luca," she managed to say.
"Yeah, but it's still true."
On the ride down the elevator, she listened to him explain how to keep yourself balanced while riding. "Don't make any sudden movements. And don't lean backwards. Actually, don't lean forward either."
Jessica sighed. At least she could spend about a half second on this skateboard and then excuse herself back up to her office to pack up. Then she could call Jake on her way home and hear his sexy voice and talk about the weekend.
Once they were outside on the deserted sidewalk which was lit up by the dying sunset and campus security lights, Luca set the skateboard down with a huge grin on his face. "You're the coolest, Professor Reed. Now step up with your right foot."
She tried it and shook her head before planting both feet back on the ground. "Nope. It's already rolling away!"
"Here. I'll stand on the front so it won't move so much while you get on it."
With a deep sigh, she tried it again, but she started wobbling from side to side this time. "Luca!" she gasped, reaching for his outstretched hand. "This is not fun!"
He was laughing as he said, "It takes practice. Just hold my hand for a second and push off with your left foot." When he removed his foot from the board, she pushed off and went gliding forward as she screeched and held onto his hand with a death grip. "Yeah! That's it!"
She jumped off, looked at him, and said, "Can I do it again?"
Five minutes later, she was laughing as she tried pushing off with her right foot. "I can recommend a great skate shop for you!" Luca said as she slowly skated away from him and down the sidewalk. Damn, this was kind of addicting. She jumped down and skated back toward him as she cackled.
"You better move. I'm coming in hot!" she said, rolling so slowly it was laughable. Then she looked up into the icy blue eyes of Brian Conley who was scowling at her. She jumped awkwardly off of the skateboard, and it continued to roll to Luca who picked it up.
"What the hell are you doing, Dr. Reed?" Brian practically yelled even though she was right in front of him. She hated that she immediately felt tears stinging behind her eyes. "Can't you be professional for even just ten minutes?"
"I was just-" she started, but then Luca cut in when she really wished he wouldn't.
"It was my idea, Dr. Conley. Dr. Reed just finished tutoring me, and I thought it would be fun."
Brian just shook his head and sighed. "That's enough fun for one day I think."
"I'm sorry, Dr. Reed," Luca muttered as he hoisted his backpack on and started skating away. And then Jessica really wished she could vanish, because Jake was heading up the sidewalk at a blistering pace, a scowl on his handsome features while Brian went off.
"It's not your job to be messing around with your students. It is your job to be teaching them. I know for a fact that you have several students failing your classes, and I don't think skateboarding with them is quite the correct answer here, do you? If you think you're even close to being qualified for tenure, you are out of your mind!"
All she could picture was Leeland asleep during his office hours. All she wanted to do was relate to Luca a little bit to keep him interested in things. She was just upholding her end of the bargain since he did so great with the practice problems.
"You're such an asshole," she whispered as her vision blurred with unshed tears.
When Brian took a step closer so that he was almost touching her, Jessica heard Jake's voice call out in a loud bark. "Hey! Why is she crying?"
"I'm okay," she said softly which just made her want to cry even more. She pushed Brian away from herself and walked the rest of the way toward Jake who had his hands in fists and fire in his eyes. "I'm okay." She had to plant both palms on his chest to get him to look at her instead of Brian.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, gentler this time as Brian stormed back inside the building. "Should I be going after him?"
"No," she said as she hiccuped, and Jake pulled her against his chest so her glasses got smashed at a weird angle. But she immediately felt better. "What are you doing here?"
He rubbed her back and said, "I missed you and thought maybe you'd want to go to Chippy's after your office hours. I know you were supposed to help that kid Luca, but I figured you might feel like getting a Sam Adams with me. Didn't know I'd potentially have to kick that guy's ass."
Jessica felt like she was going to say something she had no business telling him yet. So she tamped down the words and instead said, "You don't need to kick Brian Conley's ass. He's not even worth it. And I would absolutely love to go to Chippy's with you."
She kissed Jake long and hard on the lips before leading him inside and back up to her office to pack up her things and lock the door. Then they walked across the street, hand in hand. Jake held the door for her, and he finally looked a little calmer now as he walked into Chippy's right behind her.
"I'm just waiting for him to glare at me," Jake said as he wrapped his arm around her waist. "I really need to take you to the Hard Deck one night, because honestly, Penny could give him a run for his money."
"I'd love to see that," she said with her first smile since she was on the skateboard. She laced her fingers with Jake's and led him to an empty table.
"Reedy," Chippy called out, and sure enough, there was a special glare reserved for Jake. Jessica was beaming by the time he pulled out a stool for her and kissed her.
"I'll be right back. Hopefully," Jake said with a look of extreme fear as he headed to the bar. This was her peaceful space away from Brian. And she felt safe with Jake and Chippy. And Jake was completely right; a beer and some peanuts were exactly what she needed right now.

Can't wait to check in with Beer Boy's former frat brother. And can't wait for Reedy to spend some more time at Jake's place. Thanks @mak-32 and @beyondthesefourwalls

One More Night | Jake Seresin x Reader
Tumblr media
(18+, minors dni)
word count: 3.1k
summary: a surprise wedding forces you and jake to pretend like everything is fine
warnings: drinking (that's mostly it), mention of parental death, aruguing, this is...sad
A/N: my first one shot!!! how?? idk. I have so many of these sitting in my google drive, so I'm going to start making my way thru them. pls let me know what you think :) x MJ
You have your whole speech planned out, running over it in your head again and again as you wait at the bar of your favorite spot for after work drinks with Nat, the best friend and coworker you could’ve ever asked for when you were first stationed here a while back. So much has changed since then–you, mainly. You were so young when you arrived here, and so full of optimism. You knew what you wanted out of life, and you were determined to get it. Meeting Jake was the cream cheese icing on top of it all–your favorite. Despite his hard exterior and asshole tendencies, he warmed up to you immediately. The teasing nicknames and playful jabs turned into inside jokes and private chats away from the rest of the group, which turned into something you had only ever dreamed of. You’re not sure which one of you fell in love first, but you’re certain you fell harder. Five years later, and it’s hard to even recognize who the two of you are anymore. Somewhere along the way you must have turned into someone new.
You pick up the glass sitting in front of the seat you’ve saved for her, downing it as fast as you possibly can. You’ve been waiting for longer than usual, and you’re anxious as hell to tell her the news. Your palms are so sweaty that you had to ask the bartender for extra napkins just to keep them dry enough for the glass to not slip out of your hands. You tap the screen of your phone that lays face up. It’s fifteen minutes past when she said she’d be here. You have a plethora of notifications. You haven’t opened your work friends group chat since Monday. In fact, you’ve barely done anything outside of work until today. You go to base in the mornings and get all your tasks for the day completed before you drive back to your empty house, drink half a bottle of wine, and fall asleep on the sofa. Your neck should ache from the awkward position you find yourself in every morning, but you’re too numb to feel anything–even the buzz from the two cocktails you’ve had in the past twenty minutes.
A tap on your shoulder pulls you from your thoughts. You turn slowly, preparing yourself for the conversation you know you’re about to have with her, but instead of coming face to face with just one person, you’re met with two. Nat and Javy are grinning from ear to ear, bouncing on their feet and clinging to each other.
“We’re engaged!” She squeals, throwing her left hand out towards you. You clumsily grab onto her hand, staring at the rock on her ring finger as your mind spins. You’re happy for her, completely and utterly happy for her, but your life as you knew it just last week is now crumbling down around you. Tears prick at your eyes, and you attempt to hide the sadness in your voice.
“It’s beautiful, oh my god, guys!” You push off the stool and wrap your arms around Nat’s neck. “I’m so happy for you.” You pull away with your best fake smile and teary eyes. She’s having the same reaction now. You’ve never seen her happier, which takes some of the weight off your shoulders. She’s too happy to notice the two empty glasses sitting on the counter next to you or your bleeding nail beds from days of anxious picking. She can’t tell that your hair pulled back into a claw clip is greasy because you haven’t had the energy to wash it for the past few days, or that the small locket you used to wear around your neck isn’t there anymore.
“Do you want to get a table or–”
“We can’t wait!” Nat blurts out, looking up at Javy with a grin that’s practically stretching across her whole face. “We’re flying to Vegas tonight, and Jake is already in the car. Let’s go!” She leans over and grabs your wrist, pulling you towards the doors before you can even react. Jake’s dark gray Jeep is sitting right outside the building. Nat lets go of your hand to slide in the back seat with Javy, leaving you to take your spot up front. You take a breath and open the door, avoiding eye contact as you settle into the seat and buckle up. The last time you were in his car was last Friday after a particularly wonderful dinner. You felt great after having a few glasses of wine, just tipsy enough to be talking nonstop on the way home.
“I saw that blue house on Laurel is for sale. Maybe we could go to the open house on Sunday.” You suggest, smiling softly as you turn your head to face Jake as he’s driving. Your head is leaned up against the headrest lazily. He keeps his gaze on the road ahead. It’s dark, so you can’t see much except the outline of his features.
“All the way out in Escondido?” He questions, furrowing his brow as if he doesn’t remember the beautiful home out in the suburbs that reminds you of your childhood home on Cape Cod. You couldn’t believe your eyes when you stumbled across the gorgeous house with East Coast architecture last year. You decided then that it had to be yours. The pictures on Zillow of the interior are incredible, too. Four bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, and the most luscious, tree-filled yard that you’ve ever seen in Southern California. It’s perfect.
“Yeah, you know the one that looks like the beach house.” You remind him. Jake’s been to your parents’ place a few times, but you don’t get out there often. You’ve only been to his parents’ ranch in Texas one singular time in the five years you’ve been dating. Everyone’s just so busy with their own things. His sisters have kids and his parents go on more vacations in a year than you’ve been on in your entire life. Everyone’s happy, it seems, and the two of you are satisfied with your life out here.
“We can’t buy a house, babe.” He looks over and sees your small pout. It’s cute, but he’s firm in his thoughts on the topic. “Because, okay, what…we buy a house, and then we get married, and have kids and turn into those people we never wanted to be.” His words cut a little too deep. When you first got together, sure, you thought that way. You hated what everyone turned into once they got married and had kids and other commitments. You two never wanted to be boring. You’re the couple that’s closing down the bar every Saturday night and pregaming work parties–not the kind of couple that doesn’t want to get out once they’re already at home. In fact, you’re barely at your condo as it is.
But somewhere along the way you changed your mind, and you thought that maybe he’d had done the same.
“We don’t have to turn into those people, but we’re not getting any younger, Jake, and my biological clock is unfortunately ticking.” You sigh, turning your head to look out the window instead of at him. “I know I’ve never really cared about having kids, but I don’t know…I think I want them with you.”
Jake’s silence is more than enough to tell you that he doesn’t feel the same–that he hasn’t changed his mind at all. A tear falls down your cheek as the drive back to your shared condo continues. The realization that you want different things hits you hard. You and Jake have never been ones to fight. There won’t be any screaming or arguing or blaming. It almost makes it worse–that there’s nothing worth fighting for. That maybe you aren’t worth fighting for.
You cry the whole way home and he knows. He knows it’s over. He also knows he’s not going to change his mind, and he doesn’t expect you to, either. He feels a little blindsighted by your confession, but he knows he should’ve seen it coming. You’re always on Zillow, looking at houses that have been put up for sale in the area, and every time you’re out shopping, you’ll point out how tiny and cute the baby clothes are. You’ve been changing slowly but surely over the past year since your father passed away, but Jake’s own family issues are what made up his mind about marriage and kids many years ago–before he even met you. Before he fell in love with you. Before he would’ve done anything and everything to make you happy, but he knows he can’t do this. It’s just not a promise he can make.
Two hours later, you’re standing next to Jake in a short, black dress, holding a small bouquet of tulips from the flower shop next door. He’s wearing black pants and a white shirt. His hands are tucked in his pockets as the two of you stand off to the side while Nat and Javy exchange vows. They’re both teary-eyed and giggly and you remember being that happy with Jake not that long ago.
When you first met them, they would hardly speak to each other, but over time, much like you and Jake, they became one. Nat never thought she’d ever get into anything serious, especially with a coworker, but Javy rocked her world for the better. The two of them claim they have you and Jake to thank for the night that everything changed for them. The two of you threw a Halloween party for all your friends the first year you two lived together, and you may or may not have locked them outside to “make up” after a stupid argument over the game of beer pong that was being played. Maybe it was the full moon or the tight outfit that Nat was wearing, but Javy confessed that he had feelings for her, and well, the rest is history.
They’re holding hands and staring at each other with complete and utter adoration–they haven’t looked over at you or Jake once the entire time. They’re so in love. It makes you wonder how long it’s been since Jake has felt that way towards you. The way he stands next to you now is cold, as if you’re two strangers who don’t know a thing about each other, despite having lived together up until a week ago.
When Javy and Nat kiss, you feel a genuine smile spread across your face, clapping along with the officiant, and Jake, as they pull away and make their way over to you. The chapel photographer is snapping pics like crazy and before you know it, Nat is forcing you and Jake to embrace each other for a picture. His arm snakes around your waist, resting on the top of your thigh and pulling you close. You lean in, take a deep breath, smile, and just as quickly as his arm was around you, it’s gone.
“How are you doing?” He asks casually as the two of you stand at the bar together on a joint mission to order drinks and shots while Nat and Javy grope each other in the booth. He knows you could be doing better. When he walked in the house for the first time in almost a week, it felt different. Stained wine glasses and empty bottles were sitting on the coffee table, and the fuzzy blanket you only get out of storage for the holidays was thrown across the couch haphazardly. While you were changing into your dress, he opened the fridge to find it empty. His favorite beers were really the only thing in there.
He walked into the bedroom and stared at the half-made bed curiously. It looked the exact same as it did when he was in here packing a bag of things to take to the hotel last Saturday–almost like you haven’t been sleeping in it. You stepped out of the closet in his favorite dress of yours. The one you wore for your most recent anniversary dinner. You walked past him without saying a word, and he followed you back out to the car. Your friends didn’t suspect a thing.
“We don’t have to do this.” You say, turning your attention towards him. He looks more tired than you originally thought when you saw him earlier. The bags under his eyes tell you he hasn’t been sleeping well. You haven’t been, either. “Not right now, at least.” You say softly, turning to look at your friends over in the corner. Jake follows your gaze and lets out a sigh, not that you can hear it in this rowdy bar. “You take those, I’ll wait for the shots.” You instruct, pushing the drinks over to him. He doesn’t want to argue, so he nods his head and takes them back to the table while you wait.
“We have something to tell you guys.” Javy says nervously after all the alcohol has been consumed and you’re uncomfortably leaning on Jake in an attempt to act like you’re still together. His arm is practically stuck around your shoulder–unmoving. It’s natural for the two of you to fall back into your old habits because it’s only been a week and no one even knows about the break up, but you feel uncomfortable pretending that you’re happy. You feel Jake shift his body and nod his head, urging his friend to keep going. “We’re moving to Virginia Beach.”
Jake furrows his eyebrows. Javy has been dead set on retiring in Southern California for years. Him and Nat even joked about opening up a surf shop when they’re a little older.
“I know I always said I’d die in San Diego with you, J.” He smiles down at his wife as she’s looking up to him lovingly. “But Natasha wants to be close to her parents in D.C., and we can’t both get what we want.” He doesn’t sound bitter in the slightest as he speaks. He sounds happy. “We just wanted to let you guys know before we turn in our transfer papers.”
“We’re so glad the two of you came. It’s been such a crazy night, and we don’t want to end on a downer, so…” Nat perks up, standing up from her seat and pulling you out onto the dance floor where a large group of people are dancing. You laugh and smile, hiding the fact that Javy’s words are still burned into your brain. He’s right. You and Jake both can’t get what you want, and maybe that’s the point. Maybe that’s the true testament of love–sacrifice. You feel a little lighter as you dance with your best friend, enjoying your time together while you still have it, and when it’s time to part ways in the hotel hallway, you pull Jake into yours quickly, letting the door slam behind you.
Your lips connect and it feels like the first time all over again. You’re all over each other like it’s been months–like that one time you were sent to Italy for eight weeks, and Jake couldn’t find the time to visit. These past seven days since your breakup has been the longest you’ve spent apart other than those eight weeks. Jake fumbles with his fingers trying to unzip your dress while keeping his lips attached to yours. You can feel the fire and the passion better than you have in months.
You don’t want this moment to end, but you want to get everything off your chest that you’ve been thinking of since you left the bar. It’s going to eat at you until you do, so you break away from Jake, breathing heavily as you look up to him. You can feel his hard length pressed against your leg, pinning you to the wall. He looks down at you and cocks an eyebrow, wondering if you’re now regretting what the two of you are doing.
“I don’t want this to be it–I don’t want to lose you. Javy was right, Jake. We can’t both get our way, so if you don’t want the house and the kids, that’s fine. As long as you still want me.” Your voice is hopeful, and you’re surprisingly confident in the proposition you’re suggesting. You want Jake. The guy you’ve loved for five years, and the only person you ever want to love like this at all. You’re more than willing to give everything else up for a life with him.
“Oh.” Jake moves his hand from your hip to your cheek and shakes his head. “I can’t let you do that, baby.” He says sadly. “I’d never forgive myself if I took that away from you. You deserve to have all of the things you want, and I just can’t give those to you.” Your heart breaks all over again. His soul-crushing words move through you slowly and powerfully. You’re back in the passenger seat of his car, crying on the way home from dinner. He’d rather not be with you at all. Tears prick at your eyes, but you will them to stay put.
“I just want you, Jake. You’re all I want.”
“No, I’m not.” He takes a step back and rubs his temple with his fingers. He’s trying to hold it together, he is. You’re just making it so hard. “You want the house and the kids and the marriage. You won’t be happy with me.” He’s trying to reason with you. He loves you tremendously. He has never been happier, but he knows what it’s like to grow up with parents who didn’t care whether or not they had kids. Parents who barely call, even when it’s his birthday. Parents who go on vacations instead of spending the holidays with the family they created. He worries that if you stay together and have a kid, he’s going to be that kind of parent. Distant and cold. As much as he loves you, he fears for being a failure as a spouse and a parent like it’s something that’s ingrained into his DNA. It’ll be better for everyone if he ends things now.
You don’t respond. You’re too hurt. You feel like screaming and crying and pitching an absolute fit, but you know Jake won’t respond well to that. It’ll push him further away than he already is. You’ve already lost him. The two of you stand in silence for a minute before he takes a step back, tucking part of his shirt back into his pants.
“I think I’m going to get a separate room.” And then he opens the door and leaves, letting it slam shut behind him. You slide down the wall and cry all night, thinking about how the happiest day for your best friends is always going to remind you of your worst.

Park Seonghwa- Rivals to Lovers
Here me out, he owns an old book shop across the street, he's been there longer than you too. This was his turf, his town, his people, people who loved to read in his cozy library, with its olden print books, worn out pages, read through by generations of the same family.
All was great until one spring she shows up, with her whole pastel plus minimalistic vibes, all with the cutesy trinkets and plants, with warm lights- he noticed some books too, but they were only for show- in conclusion it was a horrid place.
A horrid place where most teens would go to after school now, no longer going to his bookshop, where they'd gossip, read novels or mangas, or even look at pretty pictured magazines (the safe kind, mind you he kept nothing nasty). What's worse was that the older folk began to go there, too! Especially because of how nice she was to them, so polite and so pretty and - ANNOYING.
He even went to 'inspect' the place, with a sour mood and an ill intention, though he was greeted with a burst of sweet aroma, one that had his stomach growling and his inner foodie, begging him to pick at least one of the many pastries or have a cup of steaming, delicious coffee. What came next was worst, her, with her gentle smile and angelic features.
"Hello! Welcome to Spring Avenue, how may we help you today?"
"You're taking my traffic."
"I'm sorry, I don't understand."
"Of course you don't."
With that he had walked out, starting a cold war, between the two. Ironically, she was a pacifist, never a fighter, but boy, did he piss her off, he knew all those buttons that would have her steaming like a hot latte.
The war had begun;
It all began when he put a " 10% off sign on Mangas, Fashion Magazines and Manhwas" that took a god chunk of her traffic.
In retaliation, she launched a "Friendship campaign, any customer that brings a friend gets a cake slice free."
Spend 2 hours reading here and leave with a borrowed book/novel of your choice."
"Buy a coffee and get a cookie free."
This continued throughout the season, so did their rivalry, to an extent that led their divided customers sense the tension. And like usual, highschoolers are escapists and this little feud of Seonghwa and her's was a problem they'd like to avoid, from her cafe they could see their beloved bookshop owner Seonghwa scowl at them, and if they were leaving the bookshop, the kids could feel the uneasiness in her smile that she give them once they'd pass her by.
"Congratulations, you're in loss." She sighed, closing the file, earning a scowl from the cafe owner, "Hey, I'm just here to check your bills, loss, and profit stuff, don't shoot the messenger."
"Alexia, come on." She whined, this was her dream, she'd put in her life's savings for this, "What should I do, Lexi?"
"Gosh, maybe not give out stupid discounts four times in a month?" Alexia sighed, rubbing her face, leaning back to stare at the bookshop across the street, "San said he knows the owner, maybe you guys could do a collab, instead of trying to each other's traffic."
"Who's San?" She asked her best friend, slash account manager and Public Relations officer- wait, was she dating!?
"Oh- uh- hey would you look at the time?" Alexia got up, grabbing her disposable coffee cup and bag, "Tell you what, you ask the bookshop owner dude about this? Okay? I'll get back with the details on Monday!" She called out as she walked towards the door, ignoring the cafe owner's questions about this San, "BYE LOVE YOU!"
That's how she found herself standing Infront of his bookshop that evening, still debating if she should go in or not? Was this idea even worth it, the guy was rude, annoying, stupid, incredibly handsome and sweet with kids and- the hell.
"Can I help you?" His deep voice came out of no where
She almost jumped out of her skin, only to turn around and spot the man she had been hating for the past ten months, standing there in all his angleic glory, with that ugly sweater and that overly comfortable scarf, not to mention his hair, his undercut had grown, quiet well too, perhaps he really was blessed with good genes.
"I uh..." she trailed off, pouting to herself, thinking of how he'd react, maybe he would make fun of her, or insult her or even go as far as to tell the town about her poor business management skills.
"Are you still open?" his question had caught her off guard, staring at him quietly wanting to see if this was a trick, only it wasn't, for when she nodded, he had looked around and then asked if he could...get a cup of coffee from there.
Of course she had said yes, why on earth would she say no to a customer, she needed the business. Unfortunately, that one cup of coffee, turned into two, then three, well- not as unfortunate as she would like it to be.
The two, mind you, who still didnt like each other, began to learn a lot about each other. He learnt how she was genuinely a sweet, caring and gentle person, her persona was indeed not fake but very real, this is who she was. She on the other hand, learned that he had inherited this business from his family, and he was an avid reader- sort a geek, a cute geek, a cute geek that could eat a whole chocolate cake with three mugs off coffee like it was nothing.
It wasn't until the third week of him visiting her cafe, that when he had stepped out to go there, he had bumped into her. She had almost fallen, but he was quick, gripping her wrist and pulling her into his chest, only to laugh when she mumbled an excuse, though he was glad she couldn't hear how his heart was hammering against his chest, wanting to stuff itself in the breast pocket of her coat.
That day she had asked him if she could check out his book shop, because she had been looking for old English bakery recipes and she couldn't find it anywhere, not any store around or online. Of course he had taken her to the right isle, in the right section in no time, this bookshop was his life and collecting and sifting through books was his passion, that day he had seen her passion, she had sat there, on the floor the entire night, reading book after book, mumbling to herself as she noted down recipes. He had sat next to her, helping her jot down notes, bringing her coffee- well not as good as hers, but good enough. At one point he had even ordered them a late night snack, well snacks, because he's a growing boy. He had closed the shop with the two inside, even pulled out a blanket and some cushions from the lounging area so she could comfortably work- she was a passionate girl and ironically he had realised something that night, only it turned into a full blown epiphany in the morning.
Next morning she had woken up right next to him, her head on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around her as the blanket was draped over the two, they had fallen asleep while reading- oh my, he really was pretty up close.
Though the two pretended nothing had happened, nothing had changed, however, everyone around them had noticed, the highschoolers would giggle when he'd come to her cafe for a cup of coffee, or how the older folk would pat him on the back when she'd step into the bookshop calling him out for help, with her little, "Hwa?"
Neither really knew how it happened, but one night while closing up he had waited outside for her, telling her he'd drop her home, even though she lived close by. Slowly this had become part of their routine, he'd often talk about the latest manga or an issue to the Star Wars comics or whatever on earth he'd talk about, but she'd always listen. Always smile and laugh at his jokes, while he'd readily accept any test recipes she'd try, telling her that his stomach was like a blackhole.
But when do the two get together? Simple, on New Years Eve, when he had to close his shop but she had decided to leave her cafe open, wanting to cater to all those who were celebrating the arrival of the new year with their loved ones, she knew Seonghwa had to go home anyway and she didn't want to spend the night alone since her family was out of town. What she did not expect was a few minutes before the strike of midnight, the cafe door chimed open as she turned to greet the customer, only to freeze at the sight before her- Seonghwa entering with a bouqet of origami flowers, smiling at her as he slowly walked to her;
"I- I know you don't like plucking flowers or bouqets, so I made you these."
"You...made these?"
"Ofcourse."
"W-why?"
"I...because I..." but before he could finish his sentence his ears picked up the count down, causing him to quickly place the flowers on the counter and as soon as the fireworks rang in her ears, it was as if she could feel the burning warmth in her body, taking a second to process how his lips were on hers, his hands cupping her face as her hands instinctively went up to grip his coat, pulling him even closer. Who knew that one day she'll end up opening a cafe that also served as a bookstore, who knew that one day, her little, evil, handsome rival bookseller, would be the New Year's kiss she never knew she needed, the man she never knew she needed, the lover that she was blessed to have.

Jeong Yunho- Neighbors to Lovers
No, she was not the new tenant, he was, and for some ungodly reason he was also extremely ill-prepared to live alone. Like any other weekend, she was leaving her apartment to go to the cafe to sit in peace and finish her novel, but God had other plans. She had opened the door to come face to face with a tall, good-looking man, though the smile he wore scared her- he was one of those extroverts.
No, he was not mean at all, nor was he the manipulative kind, Jeong Yunho really didn't know how the pre-installed dishwasher worked, that's why he had come to her that fateful weekend, about to knock on the door but she had beat him to it, opening the door before he could, earning a sheepish smile in return- who knew his neighbour would be so gorgeous, who knew purple could look so good on someone?
"Hey, I- I moved in across the hall, apartment 19, lol, I guess we're neighbours, huh?"
She had only nodded meekly at his question, pulling her satchel closer to her person, not because she didn't like him, no, but because she wasn't much of a talker anymore, not so confident either and also- because regardless of how good looking this stranger was, he was still a stranger.
"I'm Yunho- Sorry to bother you, I know you must be going somewhere, but I- I uh- I wanted to know if you know how to operate the dishwasher?"
That's how she found herself in his apartment, leaving the maindoor wide open, so she could escape if something were to happen, but to her surprise he was just a regular idiot, one who thought the dishwasher was a rack used to dry the dishes- men.
That night Yunho met an angel, one who seemingly had her life planned out, held together well, while he was still trying to build something out of his- data analyst or not, living alone was not the easiest thing to do, yet, she seemed so nonchalant about it.
Overtime however, she noticed how he would come over to ask her for help often, sometimes it was the 'fridge isn't working right' other times it was the 'how much water do you add to rice while boiling it?' Honestly, she would've told him to piss off if it were anyone else, but it was her polite neighbour, her sweet polite, new neighbour who would pass her by in the corridor every morning, smiling at her and wishing her a good morning- even if she wasn't a morning person.
Ironically, he continued to ensure they cross paths, only because he wanted to get to know her, to talk to her, he really needed a friend, and since moving here meant Mingi and him could no longer hang out 24/7, he really needed another person to talk to, someone who was not Hongjoong from the finance department.
Ironically, she did not protest or tell him to get lost, instead she's quietly help him whenever he'd approach her, giving him a shy smile then going back to her apartment. That purple door tempting him to go back and knock on the old wood, wanting to know what Narnia like secrets she hid behind.
She let it be, truthfully, she wanted fo befriended him, but during these little adventures, she realised she had begun to neglect her book, the same book she had a deadline for, the same book she had been working on day and night, and now this puppy pops up and takes all her attention?
So what does she do? Simple, she starts to create some form of distance, leave before he'd be awake, come back home later too, also even if he did come to knock on her purple door, she wouldn't be there to answer it, so technically she wouldn't feel guilty right?
Wrong, instead God had punished her with a severe writer's block, one so bad that she had missed two of her deadlines, and according to her publisher, she was on her last chance. That's how she found herself at the very cafe where she would find solace, now on the verge of tears, staring at the laptop in pure agony, maybe this was payback for leaving him unattended and ignoring him or maybe she was never meant to be a writer.
A fresh cup of coffee was placed next to her hand, causing her to quickly pull back and look at the stranger, only her panicked eyes met a softer, more timid gaze, a gentle smile gracing her presence.
"Hey... you looked like you needed the juice." He smiled, gesturing towards the chair, as if asking for permission to sit down next to her, to which she nodded.
"I uh..." she paused. Should she even be asking him how he's been? Does she have the right to do so, or are they just neighbours- well, at this point, two strangers living across each other.
"I read your books by the way," he began, giving her a gentle smile, as he felt the way she had tensed up, honestly, initially he thought she was like that because his presence made her uncomfortable, but he soon realised it wasn't him, but she usually was this tensed all the time, this nervous and unsure, which made no sense to him because she was one of the most well functioning person he had met in the city, and he was glad to have moved in next to her, "It's great, the plotline is amazing and the details- you really captured the essence, I particularly liked the world you created, honestly, when I moved here I thought everyone wore those 'blockers' too. To not...feel stuff you know," he turned to look at her, only to catch her staring at him, a small chuckle escaping him when she cleared her throat, averting her gaze, "You were the only one who was nice enough to help me, even for the stupidest of tasks...it means a lot."
She stared at him in awe and disbelief. She had been trying to avoid him for almost a month now, couldn't he tell? Or was he just playing dumb- I mean he totally could be dumb, he didn't know a toaster comes with settings, just thought the numbers were there for the appeal.
After that the two began to "spend time together", it was strictly casual mind you, nothing personal, though he would drop by more often than usual, sometimes after work, sometimes on the weekends- to have dinner with her, he'd bring dessert, or to watch a movie with her, he'd bring the snacks- no, nothing domestic at all.
Or so they thought, because a few months in, he had come over by swinging the door open, yes he had the keys and she had his keys, only to find her standing there all dressed up.
"Where are you off to? What about movie night?"
"Oh no..." she gasped, "Yuyu, I forgot to tell you I had a date tonight." A date? Why? With whom?
"Wait, why?"
"What do you mean why?"
"Why would you go on a date when we- I mean...isn't it weird? Shouldn't you be more focused on your book, instead of this temporary romance?"
"Temporary romance?!"
"W-wait, I didn't mean it like that. It came out wrong-"
"Out."
"W-what?"
"I said get out!"
That happened a week ago, she had been avoiding him for a whole week, she had been ignoring his calls, his texts, his knocks- no he didn't barge into her apartment, it took him a great amount of time to get her to open up to him and he idiotically clowned himself. So he decided to go to the next thing, go to the official reading of her book launch.
He waited there at the back, listening to her intently, taking in each word, who knew he would ever fall in love with, her neighbour, the same girl who had helped with the dishwasher, brought him dinner at night, spent time teaching him the usual ropes of living alone- who knew the very same girl had changed the plot of the book, basing it on her life, expressing how the shy, depressed protagonist, who thought dying her hair purple would make her feel better, realised that the only thing that would make her feel better would be a companion, a tall, handsome man, with a heart of gold- it was not that she needed a man, no, she just needed a friend, and she had finally found one, the inspiration to her writer's block, the Chandler to her Monica, the- HE DIES!?
He gasped, appalled at the way she had ended the story, where at the end, on his deathbed the man tells his beloved how she never needed him, but he needed her to function, to live through each day- bloody hell.
He waited for them to leave when he finally approached her, somewhat upset-no, he was very upset, as she stopped cleaning up to look at him, raising a questioning brow, "What?"
"I can't believe you!"
"Funny, Jeong, I should be the one saying that."
"What!? You killed me!?"
"What?"
"I come here to declare my undying love- no I come here to tell you how much you mean to me and apologise for never asking you out but getting upset when someone actually asked you out and you KILL ME IN YOUR NOVE?"
"First of all, I accept your apology, secondly, the protagonist was DEFINITELY NOT YOU, I made him up WAY BEFORE I met you."
"Oh..." he stared at her then looked around the almost empty bookshop, maybe he should just leave-
"So...Will you ask me out properly now or...'l"
"Move in with me."
"Too fast."
"Was worth a shot." He smiled when she let out a small laugh shaking her head at his antics, "Take me to dinner, Yunho." She smiled watching him lean closer then pause, as if asking for her permission,  "Can I...?" His question was answered when she gripped him by the lapels of his coat, pulling him closer to crash her lips against his, smiling when he wrapped his arms around her, pulling back only to press his forehead against hers,
"We move into my apartment..."
"What? Mine's great-"
"Yunho, have you seen the window and the balcony on mine?"
"Your apartment it is boss."

Choi San- Bestfriends to Lovers
Idiots, these two were complete idiots who were utterly in love with each other but were also too blind to realise that - why? Simple, because both feared that confessing to the other may ruin the long-held, deep bond.
A bond that had developed at the ripe age of childhood, middle school, to be more accurate. The day he had come to school, bored out of his mind, staring outside the window, wondering if he could jump on the closest tree to escape this prison. What he had not expected was an angel to come and sit beside him, well technically, the teacher had made her sit next to him, and he hadn't noticed her until she poked his shoulder lighter, causing him to jerk back and gasp, earning a few chuckles from the glass as the teacher just sighed in defeat.
"Wh-Hello."
"Do you need help with that?" She asked, pointing at the math equation in front of him. He looked at his notebook and remembered that's what they were supposed to me doing- damn that was a lot of daydreaming.
"Yeah, I guess...do you... know how to solve it?" He asked the new girl, too afraid to make eyecontact.
"Here, I'll show you." Turning to face him, she pulled his scribbled notebook closer.
"I'm San by the way."
That day onwards, a nice and quiet introvert at the back of the class finally began to crack open. From time to time, you'd hear him whispering to her, talking about some anime or a film. Often, he'd be telling her about his cat, Byeol, and how pretty she was. During break you wouldn't see San next to her for the first five minutes, no, he'd be sprinting across the campus, jumping down the stairs to go to the canteen to get her something to drink with her lunch, or a sweet snack, regardless of how many times she'd say 'it's fine.' During self study hours, she wouldn't be studying, no, she'd be busy tutoring her athletically gifted friend, he was...a little dumb, but that's okay, he was hardworking and she'd tell him she'd help him where he'd get stuck, explain and tutor where needed- especially in math.
As they grew older, he grew into his body, his self-esteem issues slowly subsiding, his feelings for her deepening, yet, never enough to tip the scale, at the bring of an edge but never enough to flow out he had to keep it all under control, because that's just how San was, patient and calm, he would never take a step if there was an ounce of the doubt when it came to how she felt about him. Though watching her spread her wings into the beauty she was, well, was somewhat problematic for him. Especially when she'd come to him, smiling like that, greeting him with the gentle voice of hers, asking him if he liked her haircut.
"What do you think?"
"It's...very nice."
"Just very nice?"
"You'd look pretty to me even if you were bald."
Conversations like these would have her heart hammering against her ribcage, and she'd pray to God that he couldn't hear it. She'd pray for it when he'd be walking home side by side, his shoulder bumping into hers, or his hand brushing against hers, when he'd take her bag from her, clicking his tongue at how heavy it would be,
"You trynna' build muscles like me?" He'd ask, though he was still very fragile, he'd only started going to the gym when he noticed how the 'basketball team captain', had decided to ask her to 'help tutor him too', though she had politely declined.
"Hmm? Of course not, Advanced Math books are just big like that..."
"Why do you do this to yourself, dove?" A nickname she had gained over the time, one used only by him.
"Because I wanna teach one day, I love teaching, I want to make sure people realise subjects aren't difficult or they aren't dumb, it's just that they're not taught properly."
Yup, he was smitten, on his knees, begging for her please ( he was also an idiot).
Ended up in college with her, though in a different major, like hell the now 'mountain of a man', no longer the kitten-like fragile boy, was going to major in math- business was a way better option.
This wasn't a bad situation, though they rarely had a few classes together, she'd still make time to see him, to text him as soon as class would end, but he'd already be standing at the exit, waiting for her with a coffee in hand and a dimpled smile, reserved just for her.
In no means was Choi San an extrovert, but somehow along the line he had met one, who later claimed that his MBTI had changed to an introvert too, though he doubted that notion- Jung Wooyoung.
Boistorous, noisy, obnoxious but a genuinely nice person at heart, Wooyoung was his companion in his major's classes, he was also the first person to know about San's little secret, since San trusted him enough to know, though Wooyoung assured him he had figured it out as soon as San introduced him to her as his "bestfriend".
"You're an idiot." Wooyoung snorted, taking off his shoes as he walked into the 4th years tiny apartment.
"What? Why?"
"You really think I didn't know?"
"How did you kno-'
"You can be bestfriends with a girl since childhood, unless a) one of you confessed to the other and got friendzoned but still chose friendship or b) neither of you confessed but are secretly crushing over the other."
"Wow, should've been a psychologist instead of a business major."
"What can I say, Sannie? I am a man of many talents."
Things progressed like this for a long time, Wooyoung watched from the sidelines how the two would basically act like a couple that was not a couple- almost everyone at campus thought they were a couple and Wooyoung was basically the third wheel. Not that he minded, and San appreciated him for that, he was glad Wooyoung's relationship with his dove was platonic- borderline sibling-like.
But Choi San was a fool, one that Choi San, at the fresh age of 25 wished that perhaps he'd be able to take the next steps, but something at the back of his mind held him back, were his personal desires as important as this friendship?
Which is why he stood there watching his best friend get ready for her date, her date with Wooyoung. After a conversation he did not like, but what could he say? He was too afraid to even confess, and well, Wooyoung wasn't a bad guy, and technically, he was his friend.
"I'm gonna ask her out, Sannie." The brunnet sighed, before taking a sip of his coffee, humming at the bitterness, perhaps this bitterness was sweeter than the bitter taste that had developed in San's mouth at the statement.
"W-why?" The bigger man with the fragile heart whispered.
"Because...I like her...I'm sorry but...I gave you time, so much of it and...I just wanted you to be the first one to know...if she says no, we'll all still be friends, but if she says yes...San, I won't hold back."
That had led to her first anniversary with Wooyoung, then the second and finally a day before their third anniversary San had texted the couple how he wouldn't be able to make it to their anniversary party because he had work that day and he wished them the best.
What he did not expect was someone knocking on his door at 2 am, opening the door to find a tear stained Wooyoung, only for him to punch the taller man in the face, watching him stumble backwards then wipe his eyes and sigh, "I swear- if you weren't such a great guy, I would've stabbed you."
"What the F*CK WOOYOUNG?"
That night was the first time he had seen Wooyoung cry, cry about how when she read the message she had become a mess, one that even Wooyoung couldn't fix, begging him for forgiveness how she made a mistake, how even though she was happy with Wooyoung, her heart belonged to someone else, someone who she thought she could move on from since he never confessed, since he never liked her back the way she did, and though the text was a confirmation of that, she couldn't bear lying to Wooyoung, to give him only half the love of what he deserved, knowing he deserved someone who would teach him the true meaning of love, because she was a teacher with only one student in mind, the idiot of a man- Choi San.
That night San couldn't sleep, not a wink, he processed the words over and over again, so did she like him? Should he confess to her? Now? Wouldn't that make it awkward? Or should he wait? Would that be a mistake?
Though his questions were answered in the morning when the doorbell rang at 7 am, making the sleepy man sigh as he stumbled to the door with blurry eyes, opening it still half asleep, only the slap he received woke sobered him up quickly,
"OW- WH- WHY ARE YOU JUST LIKE WOOYOUNG!?"
"SHUT UP! DONT TAKE HIS NAME! I HURT HIM BECAUSE OF YOU!" Never in the many years of knowing her, had she raised her voice like that.
"I-"
"NO! LISTEN TO ME!" She yelled before shoving him inside so she could continue yelling inside, "I like you- and you- you d*ck you could tell him you liked me but you couldn't tell me!? All those horrible dates you watched me go to, but you couldn't stop me?! You knew you liked me yet you let Woo ask me out!?"
"I- I didn't wanna ruin what we had..."
"San, I- what if I had married Woo? Huh? Then what? When you already had half my heart, I-"
She couldn't finish her sentence though, because the next thing she knew, he was smothering her with all that pent up love, his lips pressing against hers with a ferocity she had ever seen in her gentle Sannie, wanting to claim what he was too scared to touch before.
He only pulled back when she lightly pushed him back, gasping for air, looking up at him all flushed and pink, her swollen lips just enticing him even more,
"W-what was that?" She breathed out.
"Never say you're marrying anyone but me, I would've ruined the wedding even if it meant being thrown out."
"You're an idiot Sannie."
"No, I just had a teacher who could teach me math, but couldn't teach me how to love properly - guess she was learning too."

wilbur usually kept his shifts to the same length every day. his routine was set and it wasn't going to budge. he'd wake up at 6, get dressed and showered and then he'd wake you up to do a little check in. if you were big, you'd handle yourself for the most part; even if he preferred when you let him fuss over you. but if you were little, he'd help you wake up, get you dressed, get you to brush your teeth while he did your hair, etc etc. you'd both have breakfast and by 7:50 he was out the door and on his way to work. that way you'd be awake with him long enough to feel secure and not end up waking up without him and panicking (which has happened before and resulted in him taking an extra day for his weekend off).
his hours were the same, 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday. it was the same routine every day, and it was easily expected to stay that way. his job usually consisted of more quiet work, like paper work, intake or lunch rounds. nothing out of the ordinary, nothing where he had to handle scuffles or escaped inmates. it was repetitive, and he liked that.
you had woken up in a normal headspace, getting yourself ready and joking around with wilbur before he left. you thought of busying yourself with house work, dishes that needed to be done, laundry that wasn't overflowing but you felt like it needed to be done. but you couldn't manage it mentally, you were exhausted and nothing was to a level of needing to be done at that moment, so you rotted on the couch and did some simple embroidery during the morning. you didn't start to slip until lunch time, having decided on a snack plate instead of a put together meal because you were simply just getting so tired and didn't feel like it. the rest came with it.
the further you slipped and the later it got, the more on edge you were. you managed to catch wil during his afternoon break, texting with him and telling him of your day. part of him was estatic you were little and enjoying yourself, while the other was worried since he wasn't there to actively care for you. not to mention he only had a fifteen minute time window to speak to you before he got swept back into work.
he told you he had to go, and you understood, telling him how much you loved him and missed your daddy! he smiles and puts away his phone in his pocket before going back to his post.
you managed on your own until it was around the time he usually left work, you didn't get a text or a call that he was on his way. he wasn't answering his texts and he should've been home by now. but he wasn't. you were panicking a bit, curled up in blankets and staring blankly at your phone hoping to all hope that you'd get a call from him. that he would be coming home.
your anxiety only built further and further as time passed, you tried to keep yourself cozy and distracted, turning on some cartoons as your phone went unchecked.
another hour passed and you heard the front door click closed, you lifted your head, dried tears over your cheeks.
"daddy?" you call for him, jumping out of bed and waiting for him to answer.
"baby?" wilbur echoes back and he hurries up the stairs, seeing you peeking out of the bedroom door, your eyes held wide with a pout on your lips. he scooped you up into his arms and carried you into the bedroom. he sat down and set you between his legs after he kicked off his shoes. he runs his thumbs over your cheeks as he takes note of your reddened eyes and the tears dried on your skin. he frowns, kissing your nose as he rests his hands on the small of your back.
"how tiny is my baby, mm?" he tries to lighten the mood with a soft question, trying to keep you with him as his mind wanders and runs with different thoughts. feelings of guilt and worry at the sight of you so distressed and he knows it's because he was late. but he'll address that later, right now his baby comes first.
you shrug softly, reaching forward and grabbing hold of his shirt, messing with the fabric and rubbing it between your fingers. it's a softer cotton shirt, and you always like to fidget with it when you can.
"are you.. five? two? ooo is my baby realllyy tiny? hm?" he kisses all over your face as he speaks, trying to coax a smile or a giggle out of you. you crack a bit of a grin, shaking your head as you look up at him.
you hold up one finger, smiling sweetly as he gasp, "oh so you're a little baby, then?" and you nod as he places a big kiss to your forehead, pushing back your hair and tucking it behind your ears.
you move to crawl against his chest and he takes you into his arms, rubbing at your back as you drape your arms around his neck. you don't feel like talking all too much, just so tired and overwhelmed with all the feelings you have, that words just feel exhausting.
silence drapes over the both of you, and wilbur tucks his face into your neck as he hums, "I'm really sorry, baby. I got all caught up at work with a bad guy and I couldn't get home in time, I wish I did," you nod into his shoulder, humming softly as his arms tighten around you.
"s otay, daddy," is what you manage to squeak out, and he sighs, tension and stress being let out with the long breath and you hold yourself tighter to him. you don't want him to disappear, you need to hold on tighter. tighter, tighter, tighter.
he feels your hold tighten, and he rubs your back while leaving little chaste kisses by your ear. he mumbles small words of reassurance, "I'm here, baby. not going anywhere," which earns a little whine from you as you bury your face deep into his shoulder. he holds back a small chuckle, and it comes out as a huff of air as he simply keeps you close.
more time passes, nothing changing other than the intensity of your hold on him, hands grabbing at the fabric of his shirt. it helps you stay grounded, he doesn't mind.
"baby, have you done your routine yet?" he knows the answer, but he still bothers with asking anyways. you shake your head with a huff, his lips curl into a grin and he nods, "mkay baby, time for a bath then."
he then works on prying you off of him so he can effectively get you ready for a bath. you're shaking your head and whining at him, and he tries to soothe you with soft back rubs and little kisses to your face. it works for the most part and your silent complaints seem to fizzle out as he settles you between his legs again.
"can you sit still for daddy while I get things ready? mm?" he coos, knuckles running over the soft skin of your cheeks and you nod vigorously. wilbur chuckles and kisses your forehead before handing you your favorite stuffie and turning the TV to bluey. you focus your attention on the show, sitting still on the middle of the queen size mattress. he slips out of bed from behind you, untucking his shirt out of habit as he gathers up some pj's for you, taking them and laying them out behind you on the bed. then ventures into the bathroom.
he starts by running the water in the bath, then adds some bubbles to get all foamy. he keeps the door open so he can hear if you call for him, or if you fall. he then crouches to look under the sink for some of your bath toys and a bath bomb. he wants to make tonight's bath a bit more fun and exciting than your usual baths. mostly to help soothe the guilt that grows in his gut. he keeps the bath running as he pokes his head into the bedroom from the bathroom and smiles at you.
"hey, honey, the bath's almost ready," you look over to him and nod, reaching your arms out and making grabby motions with your hands. he scoops you up from under your arms and kisses all over your face, "good baby," he cracks a small grin, holding you on his hip as he carries you into the bathroom. after he sets you down on the counter, he kisses each of your cheeks before he begins to help you undress.
"what did my baby do today?" he croons, helping you into his arms before setting you down in the bath. you shrug at him, padding at the water as the bubbles collect around you.
he grabs the little washcloth and gets it all wet before he starts to scrub at your back, "i's watched cawtoons a bit," you finally speak up, eyes droopy and tired as you watch him.
"oh you did now, mm? what did you watch, bug?" he smiles sweetly at you as he gently guides your arm to be closer to him, and he gently scrubs your arm and shoulders before moving to the other arm. he glances between your eyes and where he's cleaning you up, waiting for you to answer.
"Ninjago," you mumble, smile brightening as your eyes widen with it.
he chuckles, kissing your temple and humming at your answer, "zane still your favorite?"
you nod happily, giggling before you ramble on about the episode you watched, and everything that happened. he manages to comprehend most of it, but the rest was all baby babbles that he couldn't quite make out.
after your body was all clean, he sat back for a minute, letting you play to your heart's content as he watched you. his shirt is a bit soaked, and he has some bubble bath in his hair from when you tried to give him a foamy hat, but he doesn't mind. with a small smile on his lips, and love in his eyes, he watches as you play and splash, giggling and including him in your play. he leans closer a moment later, grabbing hold of your hand and rubbing his thumb over the skin. wilbur then kisses each of your fingertips, ending with a kiss to your palm. you giggle and splash about, grinning ear to ear.
"was dat fow?" you ask softly, eyes squinting with a smile on your lips. he grabs your other hand and repeats the order of kisses before he places one tiny kiss to your nose.
"oh, well I'm just showing my baby how much I love them," he smiles softly before he starts to wet your hair and lather up your scalp in soap. you smile and hum, shutting your eyes as he washes out your hair.
when he's done, you're so tired that you don't even fight to stay in the bath, just letting him pick you up and wrap you up in a soft fluffy towel, drying you off. he carries you into the bedroom and helps you get all dressed, kissing all over your face before he helps you get back to the bathroom to help you brush your teeth. you're sleepily leaning against him the whole time, exhausted from your anxiety filled day.
once he got your teeth brushed, he carried you over to the bed, grabbing your hair brush and a couple of hair ties. he sat you between his legs as he unpaused the TV, letting it play as you focused your attention on bluey. he gently brushed out your hair, before splitting it in two and braiding both sections. he places a quick kiss to your temple before turning you to face him and shut off the tv.
"alright, baby, time for bed," you nod, reaching your arms over his shoulders as he picks you up and pulls you into his chest, kissing all over your face. he held you to his chest as he tucked you both under the covers, making sure your stuffie was safe in your arms. after he had effectively kissed every spot on your face, he pushed your bangs back and pressed you to his chest.
"goodnight little one," a small pause as you held him closer, a smile on his lips as he continued, "I love you."
you murmured an echo of his words, telling him you loved him too, and you were soon asleep. held tight in his arms with comfort surrounding you.

Can you do the mob boys reacting to their teenage daughter sneaking out the house/ rebelling?
Tumblr media
Mob! Leo
He knows a little about rebelling so he's not totally surprised when he catches his teen daughter sneaking out
but he appreciates guts more than anything
and it was a pretty ballsy move for his kid to defy him like this
she thinks she's being so slick as well, waiting for him to go to bed and creeping out
"And what plans do you have at this time of night? He better be worth the grounding you're about to get"
aannddd she knows she's done for
but she's gotta try, y'know?
with the most innocent look and a sweet as pie voice she turns to him like:
"Daddy, I'm just going out to see a movie with Claire. You remember her, right? No boys or alcohol, just a movie"
he's not fooled
"Oh really, open your bag then?"
time to drop the act
"fine. How long am I grounded for? "
he tells her it's forever but she knows it'll be like a week as per usual
stomps back up the stairs muttering about how she can't wait to move out at 18
Tumblr media
Mob! Raph
ok but he's such a big softy
like his daughter could get away with murder, both figuratively and literally.
but he doesn't like her doing anything that could her hurt, like walking around the streets of New York late at night....
he catches her shimmying down a drainpipe out her bedroom window
she's super slow at it so he just goes downstairs and waits for her
"I told you no"
she half jumps out of her skin
she really didn't think he'd know she was doing this
"But dad!"
"I said no, it's 11:30 at night, I don't want you out at this time"
"I'm just going to a friend's house, please? Her dad's picking me up and everything, he'll drop me back too!"
puppy dog eyes galore
he thinks about it for a minute
"I'll drop you off. And pick you up. And if you aren't there, I'm sending your body guards out for you and they will embarrass you in front of your friends. I'll make sure of that"
"Thank you, daddy!"
big hugs
he makes the guards embarrass her anyways as punishment
Tumblr media
Mob! Mikey
Oh god he's such a wild card as a parent
but also such a massive push over as a parent
like his kids really aren't used to being told "no"
but when he says "no" he fucking means it
so when he catches his daughter with a bottle of raspberry vodka in one hand and his car keys in the other... shit is about to hit the fan
she hears it before she even realises what's happened
the bottle of vodka smashing on the floor
then there's what he says
because Mikey doesn't yell, he actually gets real quiet when he's angry
"Is this what I fucking get? for raising you, caring for you, protecting you? this blatant disregard for my rules and wishes? Who are you sneaking out to see? Because I fucking swear that if it's the boy you've been making eyes at all semester, he won't make it to school on Monday or ever again. Do you understand?"
he sort of realises he fucked up once she starts balling her eyes out and shaking
after that he clams down and they go back inside for some daddy/daughter rebuilding trust.
she's fine the next day but never sneaks out again
Tumblr media
Mob! Donnie
one dad you do not want to fuck with
he plays the long game
he see's her sneak out, and follows
obvs he's super discreet and she thinks she's gotten away with it
until her and her friends are drinking and partying and dancing, until they feel comfortable...
then he strikes
armed guards knock down the door, guns pointed in everyone's faces
there's a bit of a scuffle (drunk "hero" teenage boy trying to show he's a big shot) but he gets knocked out pretty quickly
then Donnie appears
he grabs her by the hair, pulling her face close to his and hissing that it's time for them to leave
in the car on the way back, he's eerily calm
she's trying to do damage control, lot's of "i'm sorry" and "it'll never happen again"
"Oh, I know it won't"
she's confused
"I don't want bad influences on my daughter. so you're going to a private school and I've been assured, it's very strict. Your friends are all going to fail their classes and get kicked out of school and they will be made to know it's your fault and I expect a 5000 word essay on why this was such a bad idea in my hand by Wednesday"
she just sobs
after the essay is handed to him, he "forgives her" and doesn't continue with his plan.
but she never does shit like that again.

My Obsession
Dom reader, drug and drug mention, stalking, unknown vouyerism, Yandere, dub-con, worship, hair pulling, anal fingering, rimming, thigh humping.
Eddie Munson well known freak and drug dealer. Long hair, funny personality and hot as fuck. You were popular among your peers you were well liked among teachers and students. Head of a student council top of the class a valedictorian. You two are opposites or that’s what people thought. You were enamored with Eddie the way you would look at him behind the trees as he sells his stuff, the way you bust him out of trouble with ease and his confusion. The way you would peak into his bedroom door watching him fuck his hand.
He was all you ever wanted. Everyone who tried to start a relationship with him would have there life ruined. He was yours and yours only hell, he was lucky you even allowed him to have friends.
Eddie was sitting in detention bored as hell it was just him and the teacher. You knocked on the door and the teacher stands up answering your knock. “I was sent down to watch Eddie.” The teacher smile not thinking much of it. “Thanks kid I’ll see you on Monday.” You give a slight smile as the teacher walks out.
You sigh as your hand lifts up to the door knob as you walk in. You set your backpack down on the floor as you sit in the teachers chair looking at Eddie. “Good evening.” You say with a proper tone with not much emotion. “Yo, where’s the teacher?” Eddie asks confused. “She has kids so I just relived her of her duties.” You say answering. “Cool, can I go now?” You look at the clock as it reads 4 pm. “You got till 5.” You say as Eddie sighs putting his head on his desk.
“Do you have any water? I couldn’t find my water bottle today.” Probably because you stole it for this exact reason. “I think I have a bottle in here.” You state trying to not smile. You pull one out and he walks up grabbing it. “Thanks bro, appreciate it!” He says his usual attitude. He chugs it in a blink of an eye walking back to his chair. This was going to be easier then you thought.
5 minutes passed and you could tell it was already effecting him. His breathing was heavier, he was whimpering quietly and his thighs were rubbing together with his flushed face. It was a sight to behold. “Eddie, are you alright?” You question knowing the answer. “F-fine!” He shouts trying not to hump his seat. You stand up walking towards him.You look down at him with fraud sympathy. “Are you sure your okay?” You place a hand on his shoulder and he moans out.
You both look down as you see the wet spot in his pants. “I-it’s not what you t-think, oh fuck~” he moans out panting. He starts moaning out when you touch his face. “Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this?” You question getting on your knees. “All those nights of watching you relax, study and jerk off?” You say as his eyes god wide and the blush on his face gets redder. You look down at his hard, throbbing cock.
“Your so fucking hot I couldn’t resist and your gorgeous personality, fuck.” You say rubbing his thighs as his back arches slightly. “ I want your perfect body, your perfect personality and you.” You stand up as he groans in pain at his hornyness. “Y-you crazy bitch.” He moms out laughing. He pulls his fly down and his pants down along with his underwear.
You look down at his perfect cock. “D-do your worse baby.” He moans out setting his head in your hand. You grab his hips picking him up towards the teachers desk he looks stunned as he sees you below him and his aching cock on your thigh. He unconsciously continues to hump it. “Come on baby keep going.” He grabs your shoulders and starts grinding even harder as he moans desperately. “F-fuck I’m already c-close…” he moans out after about 30 seconds of humping your thighs. “It hurts so b-bad ngh~” he creams on your thighs as his own tense. “I know honey it’ll be over soon.”
You grab his hair as he moans at the pain. You turn him around so he’s laying on the desk with his ass towards you. You grab his ass and pull it apart marveling at the sight. “Why are you spreading my as- AGH~!” He moans out as you put your tongue in his ass. “Y-y/n baby y-yes~” he moans out grinding his hips into your face. “Ngh close!” You stop licking at his hole as he groans out angrily.
You bring your face up to his and start kissing him as he moans into the kiss. There sloppy, rough but passionate. You continue to kiss him as you bring your finger up to his ass rubbing the outside gently. “What are you doing..?” He questions smiling at you. You then push your finger in his ass and he moans softly.
“Y-y/n another finger p-please.” He moans out as you shove another finger into him. “M-mhm~” You start rubbing your fingers against his wet walls trying to find his- “OH~!” He shouts out as you hit it. “Fuck! Y/n what was that?!” He questions “your prostate darling.” You say with a dark glint in your eyes as you nip at the corner of his neck. You look at the bruises as you pull out driving your finger back in.
“OHHH~ Y-Y/N HARDER PLEASE!!!!” You drive your fingers into him hitting his prostate over and over again. You yank his hair pounding that spot as his eyes roll back. “C-CLOSE OH PLEASE!!!!”
He moans out grinding against your fingers. His tongue sticks out his mouth as you start rubbing his cock.
“That’s it big boy cum for me.” You say as you pull his hair with the hand rubbing his cock. “CUMMING OHHHHH~!!!!” He moans out as hot cum shoots out onto the desk. You bring your fingers to it dragging his cum and putting it in your mouth. He was still hard but a little softer. “You wanna keep going baby we still have 30 more minutes?” You question with a sadistic glint in your eyes and he already has his hand back on his cock with his usual smug smile. “Good boy.”

Essays and Eclairs
You walk into your favorite campus coffee shop, fully prepared to get in a nice full day of school work. As you look around, you notice every other kid at your university had the exact same idea, seeing as there were no empty tables. Letting out a small sigh, you decide to still order your regular coffee, and a chocolate eclair, incase someone leaves while you’re waiting. Unfortunately for you, it seemed no one planned on leaving any time soon, so once your name was called, you grabbed your cup, and took a look around in hopes of spotting a table you missed. What you found instead, was one of your classmates, Jeong Jaehyun, was sitting by himself.
Taking a deep breath, you walk over to him, silently praying he’ll let you sit with him. “Excuse me.” You say to get his attention. Once he looked up at you from his laptop, you continued. “There’s no where else to sit, and I recognize you from my political science class… so I was hoping maybe I could sit here while I study? We don’t have to talk to each other, I just need a table.” You finish your short ramble, and look at him with hopeful eyes. “Yeah… you can sit here.” He said, and began to move some of his stuff off of the table, taking a few glances at you. After the table is a bit more clear, you sit, and begin pulling out your laptop, and other supplies. Jaehyun takes it upon himself to stare at you for a few short moments. “Y/n right? You usually sit on the towards the right in the lecture hall?” He asks, a bit of caution in his voice, as not to come off as a creep. You nodded quickly, a small smile on your face. “Yeah… and you’re Jaehyun?” You state, the same bit of cautiousness in your voice. “Yeah! Thats me.” He responds, a bright smile on his face, sticking his hand out to shake your hand. You quickly accept his handshake, letting out a small sigh of relief at the lack of tension between you two. He matches your smile, before going back to his own work in front of him.
The two of you sit in a comfortable silence for about 20 minutes, before Jaehyun perks up. “What’re you working on? If you dont mind me asking.” You sit up a bit, meeting his eye contact. “I’m just finishing the poli sci essay.” You say. Jaehyun’s eyebrows instantly furrow. “We had an essay?” He said. You could almost hear the fear in his voice. You had to stifle a laugh as you start to nod. “Our professor assigned it on Monday… its due on Sunday.” You said, watching his jaw slowly fall slack. “You wouldn’t happen to have the rubric would you?” He asked, chuckling nervously. “Yeah I do.” You started laughing softly to yourself. After sifting through your items for a bit, you hand him the rubric. You watch with amusement as his eyes frantically scan the paper. “Of course the day I stayed home hungover, is the day we get assigned an essay. And Now I only have 3 days to pull 4 pages out of my ass” He leans back in his seat, sighing deeply. You bite your lip in thought for a short second, before closing your laptop. “If you’d like… I could help you with it. I’m really good at bullshitting essays, so I could help you knock yours out in no time… I’d just have to finish mine first of course…” You say and smile at him. “Oh my god! Yes please! How can I repay you?” He responded, almost before you could get your full sentence out. You think for a second before grinning at the boy in front of you. “You buy me chocolate eclairs for 2 weeks.” You arch an eyebrow in anticipation of his answer. “You got yourself a deal y/n. Great to do business with you.” He says and extends his hand for the second handshake of the day. You once again shake his hand, smiling softly, before pulling your hand away, and opening your laptop to finish your essay, now excited to help your classmate at the promise of free eclairs for two weeks. “You’re a life saver.” He says, before checking the time. “I’ve got to get going, but do you think we can start tomorrow?” He asks. You nod softly. “Yea. Ill be done with mine by the end of the day. Just pick your topic, and we can meet up tomorrow to work on yours.” You say. He nods in agreement. “Perfect. Thank you. You’re literally an angel.” He said, before standing with his stuff to prepare to leave. “Oh its not a problem. I actually kinda like essays.” You chuckle softly, turning your focus back to your laptop. “Well I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.” He says, waving goodbye before walking towards the exit of the cafe. It only takes about 3 minutes of him being gone for you to rush out the door after him. You almost collide with him, as he turns to the sound of you yelling his name. “I kinda need your number… if im gonna be helping you… so we can coordinate times to meet up.” You say between trying to catch your breath. “Oh yeah, I guess you’re right.” He laughs softly, pulling out his phone and handing it to you. You do the same, handing him your phone to exchange numbers. “Ok… bye for real this time. I guess I’ll text you later.” You say. “Bye for real this time.” He repeats, a smile on his face. You pivot, and walk back inside, excited to meet up with your new friend tomorrow.

CoD Short story; Café AU AleRudy (It's gonna have some soft GhostSoap mentions though)
[Spacing is gonna be a bit off for this one]
Tumblr media
A silent café at the end of a shopping street - nothing too unusual.
However, this café was different. The whole staff was made up from different people – Ex-Military, people who had dreamt to be something else, something bigger – all of them never thought they'd end up working in a café.
Especially not Alejandro.
He could've seen his childhood best friend working here, making coffee and tea with fancy art for a living, but never himself. Part of him yelled at every god imaginable for this turn of events.
Alejandro had been at the Military beforehand. A somewhat stable job, but he only joined to get away from everyone else. Of course he couldn't get rid of his best friend - Rodolfo - but it had been worth a shot. While Rudy and he worked their way up, both realized it just wasn't for them. After leaving, Rudy found a job back in Mexico, while Alejandro went to England to work in right this café.
A weird choice you might say, moving from Mexico to England just for working in a café? As stated before, Alejandro wanted to get rid of his old life, which also meant all his memories in Mexico.
The only one he couldn't forget was Rudy. Their jobs kept both of them busy, they rarely got time to catch up over phone because of the time difference and Rudy hated only texting about it because that way he couldn't hear how Alejandro felt about what he said.
Today it was only Alejandro and one of his co-workers in the café. Monday's were usually silent days because everyone was too tired to go to a café after work. Only the people that worked across the street or a few blocks away were in today, mostly to restock on their coffee or tea. An obvious choice, their coffee tasted a lot better than the shit they had in their workplace.
Alejandro had started being a full blood Barista after the amount of time he'd worked here. He just couldn't taste the cheap at home coffee anymore – almost like he had had too much of the cafés rather expensive coffee and his tastebuds refused to like anything else now. Not that he was complaining.
»Jandro I'm taking a break, 's that okay?« He heard his Co-worker call. »Knock yourself out Soap.« He answered while the other already walked to the back. Alejandro sighed and sat down on a chair behind the counter – there were absolutely no customers in the café right now, an especially annoying time. He couldn't wait for his shift to end, or better said for Ghost to clock in because hell knows that man is always too early.
About half an hour later Alejandro heard the small café bell ring. He stashed away his phone and got up, putting on his best costumer smile. Only an hour more, he reminded himself, an hour more and then I can go home.
Looking up at the costumer Alejandro felt like his heart stopped for a second. This man looked exactly like Rudy. »I uh.. what can I get started for you today?« He asked, slightly nervous. There was no way this man was his Rodolfo, Rodolfo was all the way in Mexico. Rodolfo was working right now. He would've told him if he visited. »Whatever you like best Jandro.« The man answered in Spanish, slightly grinning. Alejandro looked at him, baffled. »No way.« He stated, still unable to grasp what was happening. »Did you forget Spanish? Can't even say Hi to your best friend?« Rudy teased. »Oh god Rudy you absolute asshole–« Alejandro said, hurrying to get in front of the counter. »You're unbelievable.« Rudy just chuckled and pulled Alejandro into a hug, one that said so many things that words couldn't describe.
Alejandro had his best friend back and nothing could ruin that for him.
Tumblr media
I absolutely love Café AUs.
Also to explain the fucked spacing – I wrote this in my notes app during school (my school sucks and has no WiFi whatsoever so I can't use Tumblr). The spacing is therefore a little off, hopefully I can find a proper way to fix it.

Heyyy y’all I am back with the “bare wit me” series and if I’m being totally honest I have no idea what direction I’m going on with😐 butttt the lovely @xxmaddienicolexx Asked me ever so politely to continue so it it my duty to comply without complaints, soooo enjoy chapter 4 or bare wit me- BeBe🧘🏾‍♀️
The rest of the day went by quickly, but the casting came slow. Yamir, and Mikasa continued to tell me I did well, as a way to comfort me.
“This shit is driving me nuts bro.” I said, with a slight tremor in my throat. I’m freaking out. I’ve been to many auditions, and a plethora of castings but this was different, this was what I wanted since i heard their first ever song in high school.
“(Y/N) calm down bae, you did amazing, we know it, you know it, he’ll even the band basically said your in! You just gotta trust it.” Mikasa said while softly messaging my back.
“She’s right, and along with that, we all peeped Connie eye fucking you soooooo.” Ymir says with a big smirk.
“Ymir stop! He was not….. was he.” I said. “Yes bitch, he was.” Now that calmed me down.
“Ughhh girl you have no idea what he dose to me. He’s so damn attractive, and not to mention fucking talented! Not only is he the producer of S.C.O.U.T.S but the drummer, andddddd the lead rapper! Ugh he is just so-“ but before I could finish I was cut off by ymir.
“Sexy, and dreamy,” “don’t forget he has the sex appeal of a god!!!!” She adds Imitating things I may have and may not have said. “Sthu y’all ain’t funny” I say giggling, they know me so well.
Before we can continue our conversation we see a group hurriedly jog past us. “THE CASTING IS OUT.” I hear someone yell excitedly.
“Oh I guess the casting is out.” I say in a nonchalant way, but then it hits me……….. “THE FUCKING CASTING IS OUT!!!” I repeat this time though with more emotion.
We hurriedly sprint to that tiny piece of paper strung up by tape and surrounded but a sea of bodies. As we walk through them I notice multiple reactions happening, sadness being the more popular one. Though envy was a recurring one as well, “who the hell are even half of these people a bunch of nobodies bro,” and, “well I’m clearly one of the best singers at this school so they just lost a valuable player!” And so on.
Finally we reach the paper and with a beating heart I read it……damn I’m at the top nvm.
(Y/N), Historia, Bobby, Natalie, Petra, Floch, Dj, Mavis, Missy, and Geneva. “We hope to see you all at rehearsals starting on Monday morning. Btdubs your excused from all classes cause like were more important byeeeee” after reading the poster on thing is for certain… Saha wrote this shit and two I’m at THE FUCKING TOP OF THE LIST.
Mikasa, Ymir, and I all start getting giddy with excitement but out of respect we remain silent. “Come on guys let us depart.” Mikasa says in a accent. “Ofc lady Mikasa, come sir Ymir we must go, it appears i must participate in the act of tinkleing” I say mimicking Mikasa. As soon as we get to the coed bathroom we celebrate. “See girl we knew you could do it you were top of that list.” Mikasa says. “Yeah she’s right, your even double lucky because now you get to hang with Mr. “damn mama you so fine” headass.” Ymir says.
“Guys stop! Connie would never say that and now that I’m IN THE COMPETITION our relationship will be professional.” I rant. “But damn I almost got distracted during my audition, he really is just sooo amazing.” I repeat for the thousands of times.
“Nah mama that’s all you.” Wait what. My head slowly turns to the low voice and my entire body stiffens. “Hey Connie.” I say nervously, “hey (Y/N)” he says smirk growing ever so wide.
I FUCKING FORGOT WE WERE IN COED BATHROOMS
last minute post sorry if it’s rushed and shit it’s because it is I’m not used to writing a story after a few weeks usually it takes years Lmaoooooo but yea hope y’all enjoyed ps my bad didn’t mean for it to be so short but it’s Ight

I love you
request are open
Request: "Can I request Valkyrie x reader we’re reader thinks valkyrie is cheating on her but actually valkyrie is planning on proposing to the reader"
Warning: angst
Pairing: Valkyrie x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
You've been with valkyrie for 4 and a half years now. Everything was going great, until it wasn't.
You slowly started to notice stuff, like she was getting distant and spending less and less time with you. At first you though she was just really busy with work. But you also noticed she was spending a lot more time with Thor. You didn't want to be the annoying and jealous girlfriend that never want there partner to hang out with there friends, but lately she's been spending all her free time with thor and you just worried she was gonna live you for him.
You tried to bring it up a few time but she either changed subject or tell you that it was nothing. Then 3 times she was late to date nights, her excuse. "I was with thor and i didn't see the time pass.
Then one day you had enough you were tired of being left out all the time. You thought about it for a while now and you're gonna break up with her. It made you so sad but you were sure she was cheating on you.
You waited for her in your living room, It was 22h30 and she wasnt home, she Was supposed to be home at 20h00. You tried calling her, but she did not pick up. You started pacing the room thinking that something could have happened to her, that she was hurt or worse... Right when you started thinking of the worst scenarios you heard the front door open and close. You turned around to see who add just came in. You saw Val approaching you with a big smile “you're late again” you said dodging her embrace. “I know, I'm sorry, I was with...” “let me guess, Thor.” you cut her off.
“hmm yes, sorry I didn't see the time pass” she said trying to kiss you again. you dodged once again “you always do this Val, I'm tired of it.” she looked at you confused. “What do you mean.” “you come home super late, worrying me every time, just to barge in sometime drunk stating that you were with Thor.”
you said in a sad angry tone. “I don't always do this.” she said, you scuffed tears bringing your eyes. “Val, tell me, when was the last time we spent a relaxed night together or went on a date or did any couple stuff.” You look at her as she closed and opened her mouth, but nothing came out. “that's what I thought.” you said tears leaking out of your eyes. You flop down on the couch putting your face in your hands. “Hey, look I'm sorry I promise I'll try to spend more time with you.” You looked her in the eyes and sighed. “Are you cheating on me with Thor.” “What? No! I'm not cheating on you.” she said looking sincere. “I don't know if I can believe you.” “Please I'm telling you the truth.” you looked at her skeptically. “OK, Please wait till Tuesday, I promise you'll understand.” she said. “Why?” “Please, just trust me.” you sigh again “fine.” “Thank you.” It was Monday, so you had four days to wait.
Val was even more distant as the days went by. She also seemed more stressed than usual. You really felt like she was hiding something from you.
Tuesday finally came, you were in your apartment/ house when you got a text from Val. It was an address, you looked it up and it was a park. You wonder what she was planning to do in the park? She also asked you to wear something nice.
You got ready in a few minutes, it was summer, so you wore a light blue dress that you thought looked pretty.
You got there and you saw valkyrie waiting for you, you walked towards her. “What are we doing here?” you asked. “you'll see” she said smirking.
She led you to a little gazebo, it was beautiful loads of light hanging from it with loads of beautiful flowers. And it had an amazing view of the sea. “Oh my God Val did you do this.” You said you were amazed at the decoration. “I did with a little bit of help of course.” she said proudly. “But why?” you ask. “I want to ask you something.” “You did all this just to ask me something.” You were looking at the amazing view, so you didn't see what Val was doing. “Well, it's a very important question.” “What is it?” You ask curiously as to what could be this important. “Turn around” she asked, you did just that your hand flew up to cover your mouth when you saw her.
She was down on one knee holding a little box with a beautiful diamond ring. Tears welled up in your eyes. “we've been together for four years and 175 days and every second of this time spent with you was amazing and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Y/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?”
You were speechless for a few seconds. “I-I um.” you stuttered worrying about. Seeing the worry on her face you snapped out of it. “Yes yes!! Of course, I'll marry you!” you said jumping up and down. Her face lit up as she put the ring on her finger, got up on her two feet and kissed you deeply. “I love you.” you said pulling away." I love you too so much.”

DOCTOR’S EXAMINATION
It was a Monday afternoon and I had just finished work. I went to the doctors office for a scheduled physical exam. I arrived the doctors office at approximately 5pm. I checked in at the front counter and was told to go upstairs to adult medicine. I did so and waited my turn to see the doctor.
I was called in by a nurse who appeared to be at least in her mid fifties and not attractive in my opinion. I had asked her where nurse Constance is (who I have seen prior for a discreet sexual rendezvous). This older nurse stated that Constance is on vacation today. I was somewhat disappointed as I had hoped I could pick up where I had left off with Constance. At any rate, it wouldn't soon matter. I was taken to the doctors office and told to strip myself completely naked by the time the doctor came in. The nurse walked out and I started taking everything off. There I was with my naked, athletic, caramel colored African American butt sitting on the exam table. Little did I ever expect what would come next.
In walked the doctor. He wasn't my usual doctor. This guy was about 6'0" and about 200lbs, solid muscle mass from the looks of it. He was ambiguous racially but he did have dark hair, dark eyes, and tan colored skin.
"Hi, I'm Doctor Pete" said the doctor.
"Hi, Dr. Pete. Nice to meet you" I stated with a bashful smile. Being naked and vulnerable in front of him made my penis twitch. I was beginning to imagine what it would be like to have him strip down and fuck me right there on the exam table. But I held my composure.
"I see you're here for a physical exam. Well, let's get started" Dr. Pete said enthusiastically. Dr. Pete then took his stethoscope and started listening to my heart and lungs as I breathed deeply in and out. "Everything seems good here" Dr. Pete stated. "Let have you stand up so I can examine you further" he stated. I then stood up. Dr. Pete then took and ungloved hand and started feeling my testicles very gently and slowly. He must have spent 30 seconds caressing each testicle individually. But it felt great.
At this point I felt great sensation in my body and my penis was beginning to grow erect. At this time, the doctor began pressing at my pubic region. Each press sent Shockwaves of pleasure through my pubic area. He then started feeling my penis slowly and gently. I lost it and my penis grew fully erect in his hands.
"I see there is a little excitement. Are you gay or straight?" Dr. Pete asked. I am truly bisexual, but as far as he needed to know I fuck guys and that was all that was important in this moment.
"Well, doctor. Isn't it obvious? I'm definitely gay!" I said while smiling at him. The doctor then looked at me with a relieved look on his face.
"Thank God" he said. "Listen, do you want to spend the rest of your time getting a physical? Or would you rather GET physical?" he asked sheepishly.
"Oh, I most definitely want to GET physical " I proclaimed. He then smiled and began taking off his clothes staring with his lab coat, then moving to his shirt, undershirt, pants, etc. He now was naked with a throbbing erection.
Without a word I got back on the exam table, spread my legs, and said "Give it to me!" The doctor found some lubricant and poured some right on my horny boypussy, as well as some on his manhood. Within seconds he was penetrating my ass hole. it felt SO good! He started fucking it gently and slowly, but kept raising the speed every so often.
He kept pumping away at me like a jack hammer. It felt very good with the exception of one issue. I desperately needed to pee. I had to say something.
"Doctor, I have to pee. Can we wrap this up?" I asked.
"Don't worry. I'll take care of this " Dr. Pete stated.
He then pumped away at my boypussy while pushing down on my bladder. As if he just wanted me to lose control. The urge grew stronger and stronger. Alas, I couldn't take it anymore. My penis exploded with urine EVERYWHERE. On the examine table, on my body, and on his. The fountain of urine spewed for a good 15 or 20 seconds while he kept hitting it. I felt COMPLETELY humiliated and vulnerable. Which also turned me on.
Within seconds I had an orgasm. Cum shot everywhere, with seemingly as much volume as the urine. I was now completely spent.
"Ok. We're at the end of our time. Please clean up and you're free to leave whenever" Dr. Pete said while pulling out of my ass. He gave my bootie two hard slaps and was off the table putting. He began putting back on his clothes. Before long he walked out of the room talking about how he was late to his next appointment. I still lie there in all of my own fluids ruminating on how sexy and vulnerable this all felt.

I sat doing some marking while the kids worked chatting among themselves as usual.
"Mr Newton," a voice asked making me glance up
"Yes, Peter?"
"I heard a rumour today" Sam laughed beside him
"Ohh? Keep me in the loop then boys"
"We headed a rumour about you Mr. Newton" Peter laughed
"Ohh what about me?"
"That you're dating Miss y/l/n, in the English department" Sam smirked
"Is it true?" Peter asked and the whole class perked up
"Question seven isn't going to answer itself boys," I told them going back to my marking not like I could give them an answer even if part of me wanted too, but we'd be in big trouble if anyone found out about us if I didn't like having to hide our relationship I'd love to be able to snuggle her in my classroom Inna free period or walk down the halls holding her hand but we and to keep hidden for the sake of our jobs.
Once class was over and they all emptied out I finished off some admin and paperwork making sure the kids were all gone home by now as the busses and parents blocked the roads up of not, I got up locking up my computer and my desk grabbing my stuff and headed out leaving the classroom unlocked for the cleaners I headed out signing out at the office
"See you on Monday Isaac"
"See ya Rachel" I waved before heading out to the car park throwing my stuff on the backseats and driving my car out the car park turning the corner and heading down the street stopping in the car park next door for the sports centre attached to the school, even though it was attached it's a private business and off school grounds, I know I researched this shit. I parked up and waited in the space until I saw her having walked from the office herself bag in hand she climbed into the car and threw her stuff in the back too
"Hi Newt"
"Hi y/n" I smiled pulling her into a kiss She happily kissed back and we honestly sat passionately kissing for a good few minutes till we pulled away "Home?"
"Home" she smiled nuzzling into my arm so I started the car up and we headed home, She got working on dinner and I did a load of laundry, We had our dinner and after I finished up the dishes I noticed her on her laptop so I snuck behind her checking what she was up to and when I saw I snapped her laptop down "Hey! Newt" she complained
"No." I told her giving her a cuddle "Remember what we talked about? work-life balance?"
"Yes..."
"we said when the bell goes we go? that's it no more work."
"I know but-"
"Y/n. Stop worrying" I told her "You're the best one in the English department you have nothing to worry about"
"Easy for you to say, they can't get rid of you. you're the only person in the whole school who can actually teach the stuff in the back of the physics textbooks without just reading it"
"Love, I teach theoretical physic's if anyone is useless it's me." I laughed "Noone even takes my class because they know it all theory, at least in the other science classes you get to set fires and mix chemicals, Hell even in normal physics you get too muck around with stuff" I explained "Everyone loves your classes, because you're the only person in the English department that seems to understand kids wanna read books published after 1945"
"True, You know Erica is getting her advanced class doing their exam on the golem"
"Oh my god... those poor poor kids"
"I know"
"What are you making them do?"
"The Silmarillion"
"Ooohh"
"I know should be good"
"I kinda wanna read their papers too"
"I'm sure you will" she chuckled "I wanted to do Good Omens because I thought it would make some really interesting papers but the exam board says the cut-off is 1980 so I'm not allowed"
"Awww I was looking forward to reading those"
"Me too, plus its nice these advanced kids are overworked as hell as it is, I wanted to give them something with a tv or film adaptation so they can at least mildly cheat"
"but exam board said no"
"Exam board said super no, No media adaptations allowed and has to be published before 1980"
"1980 is the cut-off? I thought Sarah was doing Handmaid's tale?"
"She was, now she can't. Plus the exam board said she couldn't do Handmaid's Tale because it's 'not appropriate"
"For the advanced class?"
"Yep"
"They do know these kids are seventeen right?"
"Sometimes I wonder if they do, I'm just nervous is all I mean half the maths department is gone after there review, and the ones who kept there jobs now have classes three times the size to contend with"
"I know, but try not to bring it home okay?"
"Okay" she smiled
"so what do you wanna do this weekend?"
"Take away, puzzles, wine and true crime shows?"
"Ummm I love you"
"I love you too"

Steph's Crew - Part 13: Get Into the Groove
cw - strong language
Intro:
This is the crew sort of getting used to all these changes in their lives. Dylan is all moved into Alice's place. Bret and Elise are getting closer together. And Stephanie is in a long-distance relationship with Ben and is living on her own (and is having nightmares about her dead foster sister that are getting increasingly worse every night).
Their lives are rather different from what they were a couple of months ago.
This is kind of a pointless extra part lol. But I wanted to include it because even though it may not seem like it, so much can change in a short span of time.
Next Monday
(Stephanie hops off the bus and heads straight to the study room where her friends gather and hang out at school. She is surprised to find out that everyone else is already here - she's usually one of the early ones. Even Bret is here)
Stephanie: Oh. Hi, guys.
Dylan: What's up, Steph? (pats her on the back in a friendly manner)
Alice: (smiles) Hey, girl.
Elise: (trying to fit all her books and notes in her bag) Morning Steph!
Bret: Good weekend?
Stephanie: Sure. Same old.
Elise: (looks up at her, and notices that she doesn't look too happy) Are you alright? What's wrong?
Stephanie: Oh, nothing El. Nothing. Everything's fine! (pauses, sighs) I don't know.
Elise: Ok. Come with me. (takes Stephanie's hand and pulls her out of the room)
Dylan: Oooookay. Moving right along. Ally?
Alice: 'Sup?
Dylan: We didn't find any good dresses this weekend.
Alice: Nope.
Dylan: But it's totally ok, we can go shopping for our outfits again next weekend. And I've got some good news for you, too!
Alice: Oh yeah?
Dylan: Yes! I've found you a corsage.
Alice: Oh my gosh! Are you being serious?!
Dylan: Absolutely serious. It's gorgeous. I ordered it online, it should be arriving by the end of the week.
Alice: OH MY GOD! DYLAN! (jumps up in excitement and punches him suddenly)
Dylan: OW! (rubs his arm where Alice hit it)
Alice: Sorry! (gives him a hug to make it up to him) I just can't wait to see it. What colour is it?
Dylan: It has these light blue flowers on it… here, I'll show you a picture.
(He gets his phone out and shows Alice this beautiful corsage… which gets her all pumped up, causing her to punch him yet again, on the exact same spot on his arm as before)
Dylan: OW! God damn it, Alice!
Alice: I'm sorry. I'm just so grateful, man.
Dylan: Well, can you show your appreciation with a little less violence? Please?! That would be nice.
Alice: Alright, alright. I'll settle down now. But this is great! We're already half way there! Basically.
Dylan: Yep. We have a starting point.
Alice: All we need to do now is find the perfect dress that matches the corsage!
Bret: That's great, guys.
Dylan: Thanks, man.
Alice: How are your prom plans going, Bret?
Bret: Uuuuhhhhhh… (he has no clue what to say)
Dylan: Don't know?
Bret: Weeeeeelllllll….
Dylan: Ok. (to Alice) Yeah. He doesn't know.
Alice: Or maybe he wants to keep it a surprise?
Bret: No, no. It's ok. I can tell you.
Dylan: No you can't. 'Cause you don't know!
Bret: Yes I do! My plan is… umm… (Elise and Stephanie enter the room again) El!
Dylan: You're going to prom with Elise?
Bret: No! No, I'm not.
Alice: You're planning to ask El to be your prom date?
Bret: NO!
Elise: Uh, what's going on here?
Stephanie: Do we really want to know?
Bret: (to Alice and Dylan) I said "El" because El came into the room just now.
Dylan: So did Steph.
Bret: Uuuugh! That's it. I'm leaving. (quickly exits the room, the door slamming closed in a dramatic way)
Dylan: Huh.
Elise: My gosh… what's going on with him?
Alice: You.
Elise: (pauses, bewildered) That literally makes no sense.
Rewind (El's talk with Steph outside the study room)
Elise: What's going on, Stephanie? How are you doing?
Stephanie: You… you literally dragged me out of the room just to ask me that?
Elise: Yes! This is important.
Stephanie: El…
Elise: Talk to me, girl. Are you ok? How do you feel?
Stephanie: (sighs) I don't know… like I'm going through the motions? I can't properly explain it.
Elise: Ok…
Stephanie: I just… miss him so much. It hasn't even been all that long, but still-
Elise: It's ok. I get it. Well… I don't GET it, necessarily. I've never been in a long-distance relationship before. Or any relationship… but I digress. What I meant was, you don't need to overly explain yourself. Or go out of your way to justify any feelings you have. I'm not here to judge you - I'm your friend.
Stephanie: Thanks El.
(The two girls share a long, comforting hug. Stephanie wells up with tears)
Stephanie: Every time I've tried to call him this past week, its gone straight to voicemail. I expected things to be hard, what with the time zone difference and shit, but things have never been like this!
Elise: I know.
Stephanie: Ben's always had time for me before… (starts crying)
Elise: Hey, hey. Maybe he's been busy lately. Settling into a new environment does take time. He loves you so much, Steph. I bet he'll call as soon as he has time.
Stephanie: (sighs, wiping her tears) I hope so.
Elise: Breathe. Everything is going to be alright.
Stephanie: Yeah.
Elise: Feeling better?
Stephanie: (thinks for a moment) I think so, yeah.
Elise: Ready to tackle another day?
Stephanie: (smiles) Always.
Elise: That's the spirit!
Stephanie: (takes Elise's hand and pulls her back into the study room) Let's do this thing!
Bret's DVDs
(The bell rings for registration. Bret bursts back into the study room)
Bret: Hello again. I just realised that I left all my stuff in here.
Dylan: Because of course you did.
Bret: Oh, fuck off Dylan!
Alice: (laughs) See you in form, Bret.
Dylan: Bye, guys.
Stephanie: Bye! Coming, El?
Elise: Sure, sure. I'll be right there, I just need to make sure I have everything in here… (goes back to organising her bag)
Stephanie: Cool. See you there, then.
(Dylan, Alice and Stephanie all leave the study room and head to their respective form classrooms, leaving Bret and Elise alone)
Bret: Hey, El.
Elise: (smiles) Hey you.
Bret: (nervously) …Hi.
Elise: (chuckles awkwardly) 'Kay. (zips up her bag) I guess I'll see you at break?
Bret: OH! Before I forget… (pulls up a full plastic carrier bag from under the table and gives it to her) Here. I brought this for you.
Elise: Ah! You shouldn't have! (pauses) What is it?
Bret: Well, you know how we were meant to see the new Dragon Hunter movie last Saturday, but we got the date wrong?
Elise: No, YOU got the date wrong.
Bret: Oh my God, shut up! Anyway… I managed to successfully get us tickets for this Saturday instead! It's going to show at 16:30.
Elise: Ok. That's great!
Bret: Yes it is. I put your ticket in that bag.
Elise: …It's kind of heavy for a simple movie ticket.
Bret: I know. That's because that's not the only thing that's in there.
Elise: (gasps sarcastically) NO!
Bret: Yeah… I remembered that you have never seen a single movie in the series. So I thought I'd bring you my collection. Consider this my way of making it up to you for messing up the date.
Elise: Aw… really?
Bret: Yep! That's every single movie in the Dragon Hunter series in order. Now you can get yourself all caught up in time for Saturday!
Elise: Wow, Bret. I don't even know what to say… Thank you so much for this, this is really sweet of you.
Bret: (smiles) I hope you enjoy this series as much as I do. Hopefully, you'll stop picking on me for having quote-unquote, "terrible taste in movies."
Elise: Keep dreaming, mister. This is honestly a really good idea, though. The best idea you've had in a long while.
Bret: Bro!
Elise: (bursts out laughing) Ok, I'll stop now.
(The two leave the study room together)
Elise: How many movies are in this series, anyway?
Bret: 6. The 7th one is the latest one - that'll be the one we're going to watch on Saturday.
Elise: That's a lot of movies…
Bret: Yep.
Elise: I think it'll be a lot more of a fun experience for me if I don't watch the whole thing on my own. I don't suppose… (pauses, looking for the right words to say) if you'd… maybe like to come over my place and watch some with me?
Bret: (stops walking) What?
Elise: Do you want to come round and watch it with me? (blushes) I think it'll be fun! And you're like the expert of this series, you're honestly the perfect partner. I mean, for this. Like, movie-watcher-partner-person… partner. You know?
Bret: I- (blushes) Ok. Yeah. Sure. (chuckles) Why not?
Elise: Great! When should we start?
Bret: No time like the present?
Elise: Well, we obviously can't start now…
Bret: Aw, why not?
Elise: Wha- are you kidding me? School!
Bret: Oh.
Elise: We can start after school, though.
Bret: YES.
Elise: Sounds like a plan!
Bret: Indeed it does! I shall see you later, El.
Elise: (giggles) Ok. Bye!
Bret: Bye!
(The two go their separate ways, heading off to their respective classrooms)
Ben Calls Back
(Stephanie comes back home from school and sets down her keys. She heads up to her room and starts getting changed out of her school uniform. She is in the middle of putting on some pyjama bottoms when her phone suddenly rings. She stops what she's doing and looks at the caller ID. It's her boyfriend, Ben. She screams in surprise, then takes a deep breath and tries to calm herself down. Then, she answers)
Stephanie: Hello?
Ben: (on the phone) Steph!
Stephanie: Ben. Hey.
Ben: Babe! How are you doing? God, it's so good to hear your voice…
Stephanie: (wells up with tears) What the actual fuck is wrong with you?!
Ben: Uhh… what?
Stephanie: You haven't called me in ages!
Ben: Oh. Right.
Stephanie: (starts crying) And now here you are, just randomly checking in like it's nothing! Like it's no big deal!
Ben: Calm down, hun. Listen-
Stephanie: (tries composing herself, but struggles) Ben, being in a long-distance relationship means prioritising communication. I mean, any relationship requires communication, but now it's like, extra important. We have to make time for each other! Now more than ever! That's the only way we keep our connection alive. God, Ben! You not calling the past few weeks has had me seriously worried. I even tried calling you! You never picked up! And I've needed you a lot lately.
Ben: Stephanie...
Stephanie: (voice breaking) You promised me that you'd always be here for me, no matter the distance.
Ben: … You done yet, Steph?
Stephanie: (sighs) Yes.
Ben: Ok. So I'm sorry I didn't call you back sooner, but I've had a busy week… I've got some awesome news for you, though - after hours and hours of vigorous training and focus and dedication, I can finally officially say that I'm a professional old lady whisperer!
Stephanie: (laughs, then quickly tries to stop herself) What the hell?! That's not an explanation, man!
Ben: No, you're right. It isn't. But it is a part of the explanation. It's a whole story! Don't you want to hear my epic tale of how I finally managed to get my mean old receptionist lady to finally let me use her phone? It's a real doozy.
Stephanie: What?
Ben: My phone got broken. I tried to order a new one… it'll be coming in by the end of the week. But I missed talking to you, and I realised that I haven't been able to talk to you in nearly three weeks now. So I got Madeline Sharp to let me use her phone instead. And after hours of asking, badgering and begging, she finally said yes.
Stephanie: (slowly smiles) I see.
Ben: Yeah. She's still here, by the way. Watching me like a hawk. You wanna say hi, Maddy? No? 'Kay.
Stephanie: (laughs) Thanks, Maddy!
Ben: (laughs) That's just the brief summary of the story, though. I'll be happy to indulge you with the full, extended version, complete with voice imitations and dramatic hand gestures.
Stephanie: But I won't be able to see the hand gestures.
Ben: No, but you'll hear them.
Stephanie: That literally makes no sense!
Ben: But it will once I get started.
Stephanie: (laughs even more) Alright then. I guess I'll take your word for it. (pauses) Ben?
Ben: Yes?
Stephanie: I love you.
Ben: I love you too, babe. Now, let's start the show.
Stephanie: (giggles) Let's do it!
That's all for today!
Man, a lot of these scenes are really really old. Makes me realise how different the timeline was back when I first started writing this story. At this point, it's supposed to be about May-ish... but in my final chapters, the story is meant to end around June/July time... which isn't far off from that lol. And it was supposed to start in early March (that's around the time we finished our second set of mock exams in my old school. And that's what happens at the start of the story).
So yeah! This is just laying out the group dynamics, as well as setting up the major plot points/character arcs at this stage in the story (while also showing how far the characters have come already, and how different their lives are now) Dylan's thing with Alice, Bret and Elise's bond strengthening as their feelings for each other grow, and Stephanie's long-distance issues with Ben. All while prom and their final exams are on the way. I wanted to include some more scenes showing the places they are at regarding their individual family drama, but I didn't want this post to get too long lol. Next time, perhaps?
Bret and Elise will be spending a lot of time together this week, as they get through the Dragon Hunter movies... it takes a while to watch 6 films. I don't think I shall put ALL of their scenes of them watching the movies at each other's houses (because there is a lot of them, and they go on for a while), but don't worry - they're all in the final chapters. And they're pretty good! If I do say so myself.
Honestly, I'll probably just skip to the following Saturday in the next post lol. Mostly because that day is really important in the story (lot's of big stuff happens), but also because I want to be done with posting the dialogues and just start showing you guys some of my REAL chapters lol.

My sweet idiot
Summary
Mycroft has injured his ankle, but he doesn't want Greg to know about it. However, sometimes Mycroft should remember that there are people who care about him…

Mycroft couldn't help but grimace as he made his way to the exit, the painkillers starting to wear off and the pain in his ankle increasing. When he saw that Greg was waiting for him outside, he made sure that all traces of discomfort disappeared, forcing himself to walk in a normal manner and doing his best to smile in a natural way.
When he reached Greg, he said in a cheerful tone, "Good evening, Greg."
"Hi, Mycroft."
Greg glanced around and planted a kiss on Mycroft's lips in response. Then he stepped back and said quietly, "You stay here, I'll get the car."
Mycroft shook his head, "Why, there's no need, we can walk to your car as usual."
Greg shook his head again, "No, not in your condition."
Mycroft replied with a puzzled look, "In my condition? What do you mean?"
Greg looked at him indulgently and replied gently, "Don't lie and pretend you're fine when you clearly aren't."
Then he didn't wait for an answer and, with Mycroft looking on in amazement, walked out into the parking lot. He returned a few minutes later and parked the car right in front of Mycroft, bent down and opened the door for him.
A little later, as they drove to their house, Mycroft asked, "How did you know?"
Greg simply replied, "Anthea."
Mycroft sighed, "I should have known."
Greg patted his lover's knee and replied in a slightly wry tone, " Yes, darling, you should have known there are people who care about you."
Mycroft replied, "Did she tell you how it happened?"
Greg, eyes on the road, shook his head, "No, she said you'd tell me. So?"
Mycroft muttered, "Isteppedonmyshoelace."
Greg replied, "Huh? You what? I didn't get it."
Mycroft grumbled, repeating clearly, "I stumbled over my laces and twisted my ankle. Go ahead and laugh."
Greg replied, "You idiot, you clearly hurt yourself, so I don't feel like laughing."
When they arrived at their apartment, Greg assisted Mycroft to the couch, where he helped him to sit down. He carefully placed Mycroft's now swollen foot on a cushion on the coffee table.
He stroked his cheek gently and said softly, "I'll get some ice."
He returned a few seconds later with some ice wrapped in a towel, which he placed carefully on Mycroft's injured ankle. He then handed him a glass of water and a painkilling tablet.
Mycroft swallowed the pill gratefully and sighed with relief at the sensation of cold on his ankle.
Greg walked around the couch and sat down next to Mycroft. He took his hand and, turning to him, asked quietly, "Mycroft, why did you try to hide this from me?"
Greg was surprised to see Mycroft's cheeks blush slightly as he shook his head, "This time you're really going to make fun of me."
Greg told him gently, "I promise not to, okay?"
Mycroft sighed, "Because... oh my God, this is so ridiculous... I actually wanted to walk with you."
Greg didn't laugh and looked completely confused, "I... I don't understand."
Mycroft continued, "There's one part of the day that I particularly enjoy, but it doesn't happen very often because of our conflicting schedules, and that's that little moment when we walk hand in hand from my office to your car. And I didn't want to spoil that. I know it's totally lame, but-"
He didn't have time to finish before he was interrupted by Greg's lips pressing against his in a tender kiss. The kiss remained soft and light because Greg was aware of Mycroft's injured foot, and when they caught their breath a few moments later, Greg just said softly, "My lovely idiot."
Mycroft leaned his head against Greg's and replied in a conspiratorial tone, "Don't tell anyone."
Greg chuckled and replied in the same tone, "Never, only I have the right to know how sweet-"
This time it was Mycroft who closed Greg's lips with a kiss, wiping away his grin and preventing him from finishing his sentence.
