So, I started watching Olympus Guardian and so far it’s good, but what has bothered me is both Athena and Apollo captures Prometheus stealing the fire. While in some versions of the myth, Athena helps Prometheus steal the fire for the humans after Zeus takes the power of the flame away from the humans. I hope I’m not alone thinking about that fact.

So i have a question. Is "Olympus Guardian " the anime, accurate? I don't even know if you watched it. You can find it on youtube for free if you're curious. But like if you did watched it. Is it accurate?

If you're talking about the Korean animated series, then yes. I have watched it. And no, it's not accurate a lot of times. The gods and the story is more tame, less dark than the Greek myths in this series. But it's a light hearted and fun watch.

I've just found out about Rick Riordan's statement on Israel vs Palestine...

Welp, another childhood author that I completely lost all respect for.

"So yes, I am appalled by the Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians" active/direct language (i forgot the actual english term) = the Israeli civilians WERE ATTACKED vs "I am appalled by the suffering of Palestinian civilians in Gaza" passive language. The Palestinian civilians suffered - but because of what? Because of *whom*?

"the Israeli government's brutal retaliation against the entire population of Gaza has reached genocidal proportions" you acknowledge the genocidal nature, but by choosing the word RETALIATION you imply that Palestine started this conflict.

"This means security and support for Israel, yes." Fuck off. Just go fuck yourself.

Israel, as a GOVERNMENT system and a country, is completely unsustainable. Their foundations are on hate and violence, INCLUDING AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE if said people criticize their actions - see the violence with which the people protesting for the end of the ocupation faced in Israel (jewish protestors were beaten up by the police).

Seriously. Fuck you,""""Uncle""" Rick. You are a writer, and know the weight of words. Your choices reveal your belief very clearly, and no amount of lamenting for their pain erases the fact that you won't do anything to actually help.
