listening to my mom talk about a kid she works with who seemingly has ocd makes my not-diagnosable-as-ocd-but-still-extreme-type-a-ness go fucking insane. had to explain to a person who normally is pretty good at handling kids with all sorts of issues that she should maybe ASK how to help him complete a task that is peripheral to the teaching/learning (eg packing a bag) instead of just TAKING HOLD OF SOME OF HIS STUFF. like 1) that’s how you should deal with a kid without ocd 2) ?????????? SEEMS OBVIOUS TO ME that intervening in someone’s ocd ritual/pattern/idk what the term is technically might BE UPSETTING

On the ADHD demigods' stim habits (headcanon list)
Percy
He talks and mutters to himself a lot and he also paces around his cabin
Restless Leg(TM)
He used to chew on things a lot but adults told him that he was Not Allowed to bite pencils or shirt sleeves or paper or anything so his outlet is mostly snacks, chewy candy is the best for this
Someone get him a seashell chewy necklace please
Oh you know what they should have stim toys at the CHB gift shop for all the ADHD kiddos
He also probably cracks his knuckles and joints a lot
He hums when there's a song stuck in his head and it's really annoying but he can't really stop it cause he doesn't notice until someone gets mad at him and then hes like ??
Annabeth
Annabeth tends to chew up her pencils a lot
She also compulsively daydreams and builds designs of buildings in her head and reviews lists of stuff she wants to remember
She finds herself doing random math while she's supposed to be paying attention. Like if someone is telling her something and her brain drifts off more often than not she's looking at something around and being like "let me just calculate how many bricks are probably in that stack over there" or "hmm i wonder how many gallons of water are in the canoe lake"
She also gets distracted if there's any other social interactions of people around her and she just people watches and makes inferences about what people are feeling and whats going on in their lives
Also she chews her hair and sometimes puts little braids in it
She picks at her skin too a lot and sometimes pulls out strands of hair
Piper
Piper flaps her hands a lot especially when she's excited
She flips and braids her hair too
If she has feathers on her she will sometimes take it out if she's bored and either preen it with her fingers or use it to tickle someone to annoy them
She sings a lot but mostly to herself and sometimes she can be heard humming or softly singing without noticing
If she has any kind of paper available, like notebook paper or napkins or maybe candy or gum wrappers, sometimes she'll make little origami things
She also picks at her nails quite a bit
Leo
Leo has the most stims that he's unable to mask, as we know already.
He taps on surfaces and messes with his clothing a lot
He also whistles sometimes which can get annoying to people around him so he tries not to do that but if he's alone or really concentrating on something he will
He will also play with pretty much anything he finds on the ground like paper clips and those office clamp things and he'll take apart mechanical pencils and pens and put them back together and if he finds a tack or a safety pin or something there's a 90 percent chance he'll stab it through the skin of his finger(s)
If he's outside he'll pick up leaves and flowers and shred them or pick up sticks and break them
He was also probably one of those kids who would put glue on his hands so he could peel it off
Jason
i wasnt sure if Jason had ADHD but I looked it up and it said he did so oh well lol
Hes like. Freakily good at masking stims and it kinda creeps everyone out especially the CHB demigods
BUT he still has them
He have the restless leg
He also does like random stretching sometimes
When he's standing in one place for a while he kinda stands on one leg or bounces his heels
Sometimes he'll pick up objects from the ground or something and play with it like Leo does, especially if he's outside and there's like rocks or something
He does a similar thing to Annabeth too but instead of math he'll try to identify any animal noises or animals he sees like birds in the sky or like if he hears a dog bark he'll try to figure out what kind of dog
Hazel
Hazel's stims are the least obvious but they are definitely there.
If she has a view of outside she will gaze out of the window or look around her and figure out how many types of trees or whatever that she can see
She will also mess with the seams or edges of her clothing
If she has paper around she'll draw horses or other animals or sometimes people or she'll practice her cursive letters and make them fancy
She picks at her skin and her hair as well
Frank
Frank does not have ADHD. He sits there quietly and everyone thinks hes weird. Sometimes he gets wiggly if he's nervous but otherwise nah

STOLITZØ - FIFTY THREE
After some brief and teary reunions, everyone had gathered in Blitzø’s room. The doctor had done a thorough examination of Blitzø a short while beforehand and was now ready to go over Blitzø’s prognosis and next steps with everyone.
The doctor paced in the middle of the room flipping through Blitzø’s chart while the others watched and waited.
Stolas stood at the head of the bed to Blitzø’s left, Fizzarolli to the right and Asmodeus lurked behind him.
Loona sat to Blitzø’s right. The M&Ms were to his left. Millie sat on the bed by his legs, Moxxie stood on a chair in front of Stolas.
Octavia chose the armchair out of the way, feeling less like part of the family, but still wanting to be there with everyone.
“What’s the matter with his eye?” Blitzø mumbled to no one in particular as he watched the doctor pace absentmindedly.
Asmodeus snorted and leaned down. “You hit him in your sleep.”
Blitzø looked up at him in surprise. “Did he deserve it?”
“We think so.” Fizzarolli grumbled.
“Good for me then,” Blitzø laughed.
His laugh startled the doctor and he seemed to realize he was still in a room full of people. Remembering he was supposed to be doing something the little goat began.
“We are going to need to keep Mr. Blitzø here for another two to four weeks during his initial recovery.”
“I’m sorry but WHAT?” Blitzø snapped.
“Darling. Please.” Stolas touched his shoulder and looked down at him pleadingly. Blitzø felt guilty so he sighed and shut his mouth.
“A head trauma and surgery like yours is serious.” The doctor continued. “Initial recovery is at least four to six weeks. And you’ll need to continue therapies for several months afterwards as well as…”
“MONTHS?!” Blitzø jolted upright. “The F*CK you SAY!”
“Dad!” Loona snapped at him.
Blitzø cringed. “Loony…?” He’d never seen her look at him like that before.
“Just listen to him.” Loona’s voice cracked. “Please.”
Blitzø saw the raw pain in her eyes.
I f*cked up…
He took her hand, squeezed it and smiled apologetically.
Stolas’s heart ached as he watched their exchange. “Please. Continue.” He told the doctor.
“Oh. Um. Yes.” The doctor blustered a moment and flipped through his papers. “As I was saying. During your initial recovery here at the hospital, we will run daily tests. We will have you doing congestive exercises to assess your mental well-being…”
Fizzarolli snorted.
Blitzø shot him a look and grinned.
Fizzarolli sat up ramrod straight, crossed his arms tight, sucked in his lips, and looked around in feigned surprise like “Oh my goodness! Who could have made that noise! How very rude of them!”
Blitzø rolled his eyes.
The doctor hadn’t noticed their exchange and had continued on, Blitzø having missed a chunk of information.
“That’s why it’ll be important for Mr. Blitzø to engage in activities that will stimulate his mind. Such as puzzles. Or interactive games. Doing art is also suggested.”
“Hear that, dad?” Loona squeezed his hand. “You can start doing your horsie doodles again!”
Blitzø smiled warmly back at her.
“Yes. Sure. Drawing is helpful.” The doctor said dismissively. “Listening to classical music or sometimes those broadway musicals is found to be helpful.”
Moxxie gasped and his eyes lit up. He slowly turned to look at Blitzø with his hands to his mouth.
Oh f*ck me…
“Siiiiiiir….” He was practically vibrating with excitement.
Satan f*cking dammit…
“F*ck. Okay FINE, Moxxie.” Blitzø heaved a dramatic sigh. “You can show me more of your SH*T…”
“REALLY SIR?!” Moxxie’s eyes were the size of saucers.
“F*cking doctor’s orders I guess…” Blitzø shrugged and rolled his eyes.
Moxxie squealed and clapped excitedly. He started whispering to Millie about things he thought he should share with Blitzø. Millie smiled and basked in her husband’s joy.
Blitzø smiled to himself.
So f*cking easy to please…
“Just please avoid too much screen time and loud sounds. Moderation is key.”
“Anything else doctor?” Stolas asked.
“No physical exertion or over-stimulation.” He said offhandedly while looking through Blitzø’s file.
Everyone shunted a shifty eye at Blitzø and then Stolas. Blitzø didn’t notice. Stolas did and blushed horribly.
“Otherwise, that’s about it. I’ll be back in a few hours to check on you. And someone will be by to help with the catheter and possible bathing.”
Blitzø cringed at the mention of his catheter but tried to play it off. “Oooo. Sponge bath? I hope I’ve at least been getting bathed by a sexy nurse this whole time.” He waggled his eyebrows.
Everyone giggled and snickered.
“What?” Blitzø looked around at everyone. “What am I missing?”
“Absolutely nothing, dad.” Loona patted him on the leg. “I think Via and I are gonna hit the caf for a coffee.” She gave Stolas a wink as she and Via headed out.
Blitzø turned to look at Stolas.
The f*ck is she on about…
Stolas was beet red.
Oh. OOOOH…
Blitzø blushed and quickly looked away.
Millie grinned watching the two of them being embarrassed.
“Come on, Mox. Why don’t we pop on home and you can get some of your stuff together for Blitzø?” She hopped off the bed and gestured to the door.
“Great idea!” He jumped off the chair, then turned to wave to Blitzø. “We’ll be back later!”
The M&Ms scuttled off into the hall, Moxxie excitedly chattering to Millie about everything he wanted to grab from home for Blitzø.
“Whelp! That’s our cue!” Fizzarolli leaned over and hugged Blitzø, and whispered “I’m glad you’re ok.”
“Thanks, Fizz.” Blitzø hugged him tight.
Asmodeus gave an amiable nod and scooped Fizzarolli up in his arms as they walked out of the room.
Stolas and Blitzø existed in awkward silence.
“So… You bathed me, huh?” Blitzø peeked up at Stolas.
“I uh… Well you see… I didn’t…” Stolas babbled and stammered. He couldn’t find the words. He felt like he was floundering.
Blitzø started to laugh. He laughed so hard he began to cry.
Stolas stood there dumbfounded.
“Oh f*ck!” Blitzø grabbed his head. “Ok… Add ‘Don’t laugh too hard’ to the list of stuff I’m not supposed to do.”
Blitzø cringed, held his head and looked up at Stolas sheepishly.
Stolas smiled meekly and shook his head.
Blitzø reached out and took one of his hands. “I’m giving you a hard time.”
Stolas blushed.
“Truth be told, I’d definitely rather have had you tending to me than some stranger.”
Stolas sat down beside his bed. “I wanted to maintain as much of your privacy as possible. There was no need for you to be exposed or on display…” His voice trailed off.
“Jealous?” Blitzø waggled his eyebrows jokingly.
Stolas averted his gaze, feeling ashamed.
Oh sh*t…
Blitzø blushed.
“Yes. I was…” Stolas mumbled. “I’m sorry I was so small and petty.”
Blitzø reached out and touched Stolas’s chin, turning his head so Stolas had to face him. Blitzø smiled tenderly.
“I’d be jealous too.”
Stolas stared at him in wide-eyed bewilderment.
Blitzø raised an eyebrow. “You look confused?”
“I must admit… I am a little…” Stolas said quietly.
Blitzø closed his eyes, sighed and shook his head.
“Wh…What is it?” Stolas stammered.
Blitzø grabbed his chin and pulled him down into a kiss.
Stolas melted. It had been so long since they’d kissed. His mind went blank and all there was was the two of them.
Stolas leaned over the bed, reached out a shaking hand and stroked Blitzø’s cheek.
Blitzø sighed and opened his mouth to kiss him deeper.
Stolas moaned.
Blitzø let go of Stolas’s chin and ran both his hands through Stolas’s feathers, grabbing the back of his head and neck to pull him closer; kiss him even deeper.
They could feel each other’s heartbeats racing. The air grew thick and heavy.
Stolas began to feel light headed and an alarm bell went off in his head “No over-exertion or over-stimulation!”.
So just as abruptly as it began, it ended. Stolas broke the kiss. They looked at each other with bleary, dazed, lustful eyes.
Blitzø took a ragged breath and touched his forehead to Stolas’s.
“I’d be jealous too.” Blitzø whispered. “Cuz you’re too f*cking pretty, Stolas. I’ll never want to share you with anyone else.”

Frank looks so old and wrinkled. The fact that in the main beta Frank is smiling with his eyes shut and a camera in his hands makes me feel even more bad for him.
We could’ve had this for Wendy. The original is immaculate but a plus sized character was lost.💔
These designs are better than Shelly's canon one, rather average looking guys that suit the concept of a master assassin. Obviously excluding whatever is going on with the weird flip thing in the center.
I really like this beta design of Matt. Is the person next to him meant be his manager?
If Capcom had used this design, people really would’ve gone for

Hyper femme vs hyper masc Max and I love both. Instead of a magician he was a Drag Queen.
The upper one should’ve been what Max wears to court and the lower one should’ve been his show wear.
If only Regina had been like this (and an older age).
Too much anime
Fluffy hair Jinxie reminds me of a Hex Maniac. Wonder what her personality was designed to be at this time, Pentagrams on the sleeve cuffs don’t match with her canon personality. Very interested in the writings on her dress collar.
Now the pentagram is even more apparent and the writing is now on her dress straps. It looks like she has bandaids on her forehead rather than runes, especially with the marks on her arms and hands

Can I please have a male!piercer-and-tattooartist!Reader x Giacomo?
Giacomo is severly afraid of needles but wants to get a piercing and maybe even a tattoo to fit his image as DJ Vice. Apparently his project was a big topic at the academy, because word had even gotten around to the teachers. Salvatore came up to Giacomo one day and asked him if the rumors are true with him wanting to get at least a piercing. After Giacomo confirmed this, Salvatore (a regular of Reader) scribbled a name and number on a piece of paper and gave it to Giacomo. Reader didn't have to wait long for Giacomos call.
Just a day later Giacomo was welcomed at Readers studio.
Reader and him sat together for weeks to find the perfect piercing (a simple eyebrow piercing) and take some of the fear of Giacomo away.
The great day came, Giacomo was already seated and just seconds away from getting his piercing. But seeing the needle this close Giacomo got uncomfortable and Reader did the first thing which came to his mind to distract Giacomo. He kissed him.
NO BC WAIT as someone who is both tattooed and pierced (I have snakebites and 4 tattoos) and is afraid of needles, and is a Huge Giacomo Fan, I am SCREAMING
Seriously, I happy stimmed for like a solid minute when I saw this request, I was so flipping excited to write it. I hope it turned out well!!

Drop the Croissant Cookie Headcanons OughOUgHOugj
On it boss!!
Croissant is an only child, not sure how she grew up exactly, probably relatively normal, she loves her parents but they live far away so they don’t really know everything she’s got going on right now.
She got muscle and is a short queen! Also asexual biromantic
She really likes sandwiches, probably has certain sandwiches for different days of the week, just to spice things up.
When croissant is nervous about something or thinking a lot she tinkers, one time she got into an anxiety spiral and next time someone checked up on her she had built several new prototypes for useless machines (not worthless, but the useless machine type, you know the box)
Did I mention this girl has anxiety because she does! She builds stuff when she’s anxious because nervous work is better than sitting with the thoughts and overthinking everything.
Her friends are happy to listen to her worries and reassure her.
Though she hasn’t told hero or sandwich about the time travel stuff because she’s worried it’d hurt them.
She has a whole arc about eventually taking to them about the time travel and it works out great I promise.
She fucking loves overalls. She’s got a few pairs in her closet.
And tank tops and baggy pants. They’re comfy.
She has a complex about being as little like timekeeper as possible, even when she’s been reassured by timekeeper themselves that she’s no longer on a path to be anything like them, she gets nervous about it.
Sometimes there’s a brief glimpse in a mirror and she swears her eyes looked like spirals for a moment, or the light makes her hair look a shade too gold in the light.
She should probably see a therapist about it.
She got recruited by the tbd when she built a timecraft, how she got her hands on time travel tec is a mystery, it’s baffled everyone. Croissant thought for a solid hour she invented time travel but no, she didn’t.
Making time travel tec without prior knowledge of the rift was still fucking impressive though!
Croissant has a nervous tick where she flips/fidgets with whatever’s in her hand, holding her wrench? She’s gonna spin it a bit, holding papers? She’s gonna crease the edges a bit, holding a pen? Chew on it or click it. She’d probably love stim toys, wouldn’t be surprised if she has a few at home.
She has an appartment with a dedicated workroom, but her workplace at the tbd is like a second home.
One of the menders put a hammock in there for her and she uses it a lot.
Croissant is kind hearted and cares so much for people, she puts their needs over her own most of the time. She tends to also struggle with accepting good things being done for her. She’s working on it though.
She and timekeeper have a ‘cover’ where they say their sisters. I mean it’s not wrong, though it wasn’t her idea she just went “yep, sure, that’s my chaotic time god sibling haha”
Idk what else to say here my girl is so kind and soft and is full of anxiety and problems and issues I love her she just like me frfr

so i used to draw nonstop on school work, tests, on white printer paper at work. basically if i wasn’t flipping my pen back and forth at lightning speed like a stim toy until it flied across the room, i’d draw. i’d write notes when that was useful for school/work, then draw any moment words didn’t need to be written. anyway like 1 no one ever told me needing to idk stimulate something or doodle nonstop might be a sign u got adhd (although the way i have to plan how to manage my fucking schedule sure was a neon sign)
but 2? very cool fact??? i read recently that coloring, doodling, free drawing, all stimulate creativity and break one out of blocks. literally there was some article for your average neurotypical adult to do like a kid does, and color or sketch randomly to get your mind creative and engaged again. so like... i guess kudos to me for doing that naturally since i could pick up a drawing utensil. (to be fair when u become an artist i guess that’s just what u do anyway, draw any time u have something to draw with at least some of the time from when u decide ‘u wanna draw’ till ‘forever’?)
anyway. yeah. got creative block? feel burned out? color some stuff! scribble with crayon! draw a random thing that’s allowed to look bad! (grab ur highlighters and pen and make ur own picture to color! ToT that’s my go to)

rtc headcannons because ive fallen deep into this musical
noel drinks from wine glasses and exclusively wine glasses
ocean has a fringe/bangs but doesnt know how to grow them out so she just pins them up with headbands
ricky has so many badges its a problem at this point. just buckets upon buckets of badges.
i am making them all autistic bcs im autistic and i need more autistic characters damnit
ocean has a special interest in politics and literary analysis
noel has a special interest in france, poetry media analysis
sometimes they discuss different films and books together and yes they get very heated over their wildly differing interpretations
ricky (obviously) has a special interest in space and cats, but also video games.
constance has a special interest in autism itself, flower language and art history
penny (be aware i have not seen legoland yet so take this with a pinch of salt) has a special interest in animals and mythology
mischa has a special interest in horror and rap, as well as linguistics
noel speaks pretty good french. he uses duolingo but he hates the notifications because they annoy him at the most random times
ricky uses all pronouns, no preference. and by all, i mean ALL. you could bring out the boink/boinkself pronouns and shed be chill with it
constance really likes hot chocolate with cinnamon and two shots of caramel in it
penny has mild heterochromia. one eye is green and the other is a darker green with a brown rim
ricky has an aac, but they all know at least basic sign language. theyre still learning
ocean stims by bouncing on her tiptoes. one time she fell over in the middle of a big speech because she tipped forward. she was fine but very embarrassed. noel was no help
noel's mother is from a french-speaking provenance/precinct (i think thats what theyre called)
mischa owns two hats, but flips them inside out so it looks like he owns more
noel has tried white wine. he doesnt want to admit it but he absolutely despises it
penny has textural issues with anything slimy. she tried a facemask once and almost broke the wall from slamming so far backwards into it.
mischa has talia's number memorised, but still keeps a litle slip of paper in his phone case with her number on it
ocean colour codes EVERYTHING. if even a single colour is out of place on anything she will spend ages trying to fix it
everything noel owns is very low contrast, and most of it is some variation of dark, desaturated reds and blues or monochrome
ricky owns a pair of purple cat ears
ocean isn't one for sweet things but adores chocolate oranges.
most of the time they all eat lunch together in the choir room
penny is a vegetarian bcs she doesnt like the texture of meat, ricky is a vegetarian because hes allergic to red meat
when ocean found out noel works at taco bell she spent a week going up to him at work just because. she still goes occasionally. noel dies inside a little bit more each time
noel actually managed to convince some other kid to day the second line in the nativity play. hes still proud of that one
mischa really likes rasberries
ricky loves to sleep in hammocks, but its a pain getting in and out of them so they dont do it often
noel's mother owns a lot of old french dvds which is how noel got into them
constance is very good at playing instruments, like harmonicas and flutes.
noel used to buy those fake sweet cigarettes all the time and pretend he actually smoked. he didnt like the flavour though. too chalky

penny doesn't watch movies often, but when she does she asks a lot of questions
noel really likes dramas, but he doesn't say so that often
for a bonding activity they all made bracelets for eachother, but none of them knew how. they picked who theyd make the bracelet for out of a hat. ocean researched before hand and made a nice flower chain for penny. penny made a green singlet with star beads for ricky. ricky made a red bracelet with "bad egg yt" on it for mischa. mischa made a purple and white bracelet for constance. constance made a black and red bracelet with a rose charm on it for noel. noel made an orange and blue bracelet with a shell charm and the word "lake" on it for ocean
penny wears hers and constantly fiddles with it. ocean keeps hers despite being annoyed by the word. mischa wears his often, but its slightly small so hes very careful to make sure it doesnt snap. noel keeps his on his bedside. ricky wrapped his around one of his crutches. constance wears hers often as well, and keeps it in a small box specifically for the bracelet.
noel stims by rubbing his fingers and fixing his collar
ricky has made an entire map of the solar system zolar is on. zey made it on a giant piece of a1 paper and hung it by his bed
ocean is scared of boats. the irony is not lost on anyone. however noel is also scared of boats, so he doenst make jokes
penny eats paper sometimes. not often, but often enough to concern the choir. she prefers plain and hates tissue paper
noel owns a large notebook for his favourite pieces of poetry/writing to be written in. it has a large design of roses and skulls on the front and is on a fancy textured cover. he keeps it in pristine condition and has shown exactly two people that it even exists. his mother and mischa
mischa sends noel song clips to review and noel sends him poetry snippets
constance and penny spend evenings at the cafe together, they do their homework there and they talk for hours once shes finished
penny and ocean are actually pretty close, those two and constance sit together in most lessons and convince the teacher to put them in a three for pair activities.
noel knows talia is real and they're actually friends. mischa is glad they get along and someone else believes shes real.
this led noel to learning some ukranian and talia learning some english to avoid the hells of google translate
ocean began learning french to spite noel but actually quite likes the language
constance really likes the count of monte cristo
mischa canmot finish books for the life of him. he begins reading, gets bored and remembers twelve weeks later he even knew of the book
there is a singular shitty library in uranium in st. cassians. its old and decrepit but the librarian is nice.
ocean volunteers after hours in the library on thursdays and fridays
ricky and penny watch animal documentaries together. they also spend a lot of timw with rickys cats. penny loves them
noel has tried that french whipped cream hot chocolate and loves it
ricky doesbt like throwing away her clothes so they sew the holes up with penny and ass little patches on them.
constance and penny read together and penny likes to help constance in the cafe with things like sweeping and clearing tables
mischa and ricky are bros. they watch sci fi together, and tend to watch a lot of scifi horror
noel and ocean hate eachother in the "you are genuinely so insufferable. i never want to talk to you, no, i dont even want to see you again. of course we're still on for saturday i'll meet you at ten, see you there" kind of way
penny dyed her hair blonde and noel dyes his hair black. his natural hair is a pretty dark brown but he likes his dark dark.
the choir hang out every saturday. they do things like hang at the cafe or go to the mall.
in an everyone survives au, none of them like cars that much after the rollercoaster
post canon penny hosts memorials and told talia about what happened. she was devastated, but penny felt she needed to know. she also managed to stop taco bell from making the hungry hombre meal
noel cannot stand fast food after working at taco bell because hes seen how its made.
noel is friends with a coworker, a woman in her late thirties who knew his mother briefly in highschool.
ocean cannot handle spice at all. she can barely hold her own against the lowest spice rating on a nandos menue
ricky talks to noel about zolar and all xeir ideas for it. noel is fascinated by just how detailed and extravagent it all it, so he ignores the sexy cat people
ricky convinced the rest of the choir to watch cats. there is now a mandatory background check before each movie on movie nights
ocean wears a lot of yellow and blue
because of oceans oarents, she has very limited internet access, so she normally uses a laptop her parents dont know about, courtesy of constance, at the cafe
constance writes fics on ao3. not often, but she does. shes pretty good at it ngl
noel's mother actually gave him the monique wig
when asked for a self portrait noel gives two- one of monique and one of him, often side by side

Dude i have to have autism there is no other reason for me to be like this.
Like i fidget (stim???) with my hair almost constantly and i have since i was 2 years old. I was at my new chiropodist to get new orthotics made and I was participating in the awkward small talk while playing with my hair, because this is an uncomfortable social situation and it's soothing. I was talking about how hard a time i've had looking for a job because she'd brought up my college. and then says like "Well you can't be doing stuff like that during your interviews because it shows your anxiety"
Anyway I burst into tears and said a lot of shit. my mind going 100 miles an hour with embarrassment and rage. The rational part of me was trying to like, educate her.
like "You are a medical professional and you can NOT talk like this to people with body focused repetitive behaviours. We are VERY AWARE and VERY ASHAMED of it and DO NOT need it pointed out." (i'm aware it's not something to be ashamed of but society ain't there yet) But of course it came out in a garbled mess because i can barely speak when i cry because i hyperventilate the whole time.
And then she kept trying to comfort me by TOUCHING my arm and I had to be like "do NOT touch me" because when i'm in this state being touched will make me flip the fuck out.
The real kicker is that i was having plaster casts of my feet done so i literally couldn't leave because the paste on my feet needed to dry. Usually when this shit happens to me i am the "just walk out" skeleton meme. and then i started laughing while crying because i was being held hostage by my feet.
Anyway while cleaning my feet off she was also tossing water everywhere and it was getting up my shorts and if i hadn't had the paper towel she gave me to do a quick intervention, it would have looked like i pissed my pants. So even though i had sorta calmed down it started up again.
By the time i had pushed everything down enough to leave and be seen in public again i had to deal with constant "I wish i was dead, I wish i was dead, I'm so fucking worthless" going around in my head. My difficulty finding a job has made me feel so fucking useless recently and her picking on me like that when I haven't even GOTTEN to the interview stage yet. Like yeah thanks for reminding me the WORST part of the job application process that i always fail at is next. Where i have to suppress the only movements and things that might actually calm me down enough to get through the damn interview.
I feel so angry about it. Once these orthotics are made I am never going back there. I had to fight the whole time to shut her down because she kept doing or saying shit that was going to set me off again. I was so close to emergency calling my mom.
And I can sit here and say "god what a bitch" but the truth is most people in the world are like that and i have to pretend like i'm like them too otherwise i'm a freak and it's bullshit and it makes life so fucking hard. It was like "Wow thanks lady for undoing years of therapy on trying to do more positive self talk. I LOVE having my NEGATIVE self talk validated from the outside."
