Terminology Jumble With Fu Talismans
Modern manuals and studies designate by the term fu any objects of magical purpose, involving an inscription and/or graphic symbols. However, in China, there has never been a single homologue for the word “talisman”. Fu as “talisman” is an obvious and pretty recent misnaming. Continue reading Terminology Jumble With Fu Talismans

"In-depth information of the Warframe mandate is forbidden to all but the Seven."
Despite this, Albrecht Entrati:
-got a hold of the Helminth virus, which is the specific strain of infestation used to make Warframes.
-made his own Warframe (Qorvex).
-time travelled to 1999 to Warframe-ify people who believed he was saving them from a plague.
Albrecht Entrati does not give a single solitary fuck, I am amazed he somehow avoided the Jade Light.

“And yet, even if they get discouraged after being beaten, and even if they get close to falling down after losing their paths, they continue to get up and fight. Everyone around them helps them get back up. And you're envious of that.”

Many cults dedicated to Namira are known to practice an alchemical variant of corpse medicine, providing treatments that are intense but effective. Though this Daedric Prince and her devotees are largely reviled by wider society, some find their cures unmatched in their usefulness in managing chronic conditions - as long as they don't ask where they came from. Some cults charge a high price for their medicines, while others view it almost as a method of proselytising, considering the satisfaction of bringing outsiders that bit into the fold as payment enough.

I don't disagree that Naksu is a valuable person and strong female character regardless of whether she's holding a sword and chopping off heads and whatnot
BUT
when THE central pillar of your entire 30-episode story is:
"This Specific Woman is a super mega powerful killing machine and every single character's decisions in-universe are directly shaped by it "
...then folks are gonna reasonably expect to see her kicking ass more than once per season, and it's not wrong to be disappointed that it hasn't happened.

Taoist Bigu Practice: Is It About Health Preservation?
A few thoughts on a millennia old austerity practice, bigu (辟穀) fasting, “abstention from cereals”. Nowadays, this concept is hyped and heavily misinterpreted: some argue that it implies extreme starvation, some claim that this is a special diet associated with the restriction of starchy foods and aimed at losing weight. It’s an old-school practice, also called Duangu (Stop Cereals, 斷谷), Juegu…
