I’m late for Mermay, but just in time for pride month! What if mermaids reproduce asexually? Bigender/non-binary mermaids, that’s what. This mermaid is my own character. He/she, her name is unpronounceable by humans, so you can call him Seaweed. On his hands, hair and eyes are the trans flag colours. Face, neck and chest are lesbian flag colours, and his tail is the classic rainbow flag colours.

E favourite holiday is Thanksgiving, it’s a time they’re able to chill the most! and when they were younger they’d usually spend the day with both of their parents. Now, they celebrate with their mom over FaceTime but it’s still special / N’s favourite holiday is New Year’s—just the whole ability to have a new start and go into the new year fresh (<- kiss at New Year’s with N, anyone?)

Neither of them have pets. E’s mom has a dog though.

E adores their close circle of friends, their friends consist of the ros in game (Cypress especially) and their band that they go on tour with / N’s the same in terms of a few close friends, N’s just very hard to befriend haha.

Favourite animals: E would say their mom’s labrador / N would say cats, they like their introverted vibe.

Favourite mythical creature: E’s would be a phoenix, the whole concept of rising from ashes / N’s would be a mermaid because they love the ocean.

Favourite school subject: E’s was English which obviously is helpful for their career / N’s was art, and they still sketch now.

Gardening: E loves flowers but that’s about it / N likes plants a lot more and they can keep them alive, gift N a cute plant and they will love it

Birth place: E was born in Canada, their mom still lives there so they visit at least twice a year��they do love Canada / N was born in France, they don’t visit all that much. The only reason they don’t like France is because of family reasons — they both live in London now.

The level of realism I don't typically see in fanfic. I crave it, so I love that I do that. And people seem to think I'm hilarious and laughing while reading smut was a new experience for some of them.
