100 follower celebration
Tumblr media Tumblr media
fandom: marvel
ship: blackhill x fem!reader
about: dinner where our two lovely boss ladies cannot take their hands off you. you're all dressed up and so perfect for them.
warnings: smut, exhibitionism, public sex, very brief reference to politics, pet names, praise, degradation, fingering (r receiving, nat giving), dom blackhill, sub r, r has a uterus, r is referred to as she.
"A-and did you see his reaction!" Bucky exclaimed, taking a sip of his drink. "I KNOW!! It was so funny!" Tony chuckled. Their voices drowned out, as you suddenly became aware of Maria's hand sitting on your thigh. It was firm. Your eyes met her hungry gaze. Nat was also eyeing you, you found her staring at your chest.
The team went out to dinner at an expensive restaurant so you had to dress up. You decided to wear a dress that was very revealing, obviously your girlfriends could not take their eyes off of you when you were getting ready.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
They tried to touch you, but you swatted their hands away because you were trying to do your makeup. Also you guys literally had no time to mess around because the reservation was for 8pm and you had to leave in 10 minutes.
Natasha groaned when she realized you were serious. "Please detka, a quickie? I can make it fast." Nat pleated. You shook your head no. As appealing as that sounded, you needed to finish your eyeshadow.
Maria smirked when when entered the room, overhearing Nat's pleads to touch you. "Don't be so desperate dear. Our little slut will practically be begging us to fuck her by the end of the night" Maria spoke calmly.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
And that brought you to this exact moment, you were starting to think that you should've taken Nat up on her offer. You were sandwiched between the two. Nat's fingers started to make it's way onto your thigh as well. Her hand patted your thigh to spread.
You looked at her, turning red. "Cmon detka, no one is paying attention. They're engrossed in the drunken conversation of politics." Nat whispered closely to your ear, her breath tickled you.
You obliged and Maria raised an eyebrow at you, not seeing the actions of the spy. Natasha looked at her with a smirk. Maria rolled her eyes.
Nat' hand snaked between your thighs, trailing up until she met your underwear. Oh, you were soaked. She smirked and traced painfully slow circles over your underwear.
You huffed and looked at Nat with puppy dog eyes. "Y/N! What do you think?" Maria smirked, inviting you to join the conversation. You jumped, obviously not expecting that. Your legs tried to close but Maria held them open. God you looked so flustered.
"Y/N, you're turning red. Are you feeling well?" Carol asked, an ounce of concern sounded in her voice. Valkyrie pinched Carol lightly, she realized what was happening and Valkyrie noticed Carol turning a little pink herself.
"M' fine" you mumbled. They went back to their own conversation, not nothing that you, Natasha and Maria have been fairly quiet. Your head started to feel a little fuzzy.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
You looked at Maria and whined softly. "What is it bunny? Use your words." Maria said firmly. "Please, please, please" you mumbled into her ear. Her demeanor soften, "Please what honey? Can you tell me and daddy what you need?" Maria cooed. "Touch' please" you mumbled, hardly able to form sentences. "Good job at using your words, baby." Maria praised you. She wouldn't be too hard on you, knowing you're in a fuzzy headspace.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
Fuck you looked so perfect, your glassy eyes was her final straw. She caved in and began to fuck you harder. Her fingers curled in you, picking up speed. You had to bite your lip to hide your moans. "You close, bunny?" Natasha whispered into your ear.
You nodded desperately. "Then come for me, be a good girl for me, angel." Natahsa gave you permission. You felt your high approaching. Maria's fingers found your clit and rub fast circles around it. Fuck, this is it. Your legs began to shake as you came down from your high.
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
"You okay bunny?" Maria whispered, as both their fingers left you. You whined softly, feeling empty. "Hey guys, Y/N's forehead feels hot so we're gonna go home. You guys enjoy the dinner." Natasha spoke, helping you to feet. You clung onto both of the women. They smiled softly at your clingness. "Hope you feel better y/n" a bunch of mumbles as you guys left.

who's alive, dead, in between or beyond! pre-alecto the ninth character masterlist
After my previous pre-nona the ninth character status masterlist, I'm attempting another one! Some characters have been grouped for ease, and I did not include any characters from the previous post that are not mentioned as doing anything in NtN (i.e. Wake, Canaan House crew, previous lyctors et. al). They are all, presumably, in the same place as they were before.
Also not included is the empty stretch of time between Harrowhark's soul exiting the bubble-memory with John and reappearing in her own body at the end of the book - this is relevant as based on the preview, AtN may not immediately pick up post-NtN.
(current date: 12/12/2022, #ntn spoilers)

You pushed open the door to the small cafe, breathing in deep, letting the smell of cinnamon and coffee soothe you after a restless night. Millie glanced up from behind the counter, a wide smile crinkling the corners of her eyes at the sight of you standing in the doorway. She lifted a hand, waving you over, already pulling a warm cinnamon roll from the bakery display.
“I told you that you’d be back,” she teased, placing it in a bag and on the counter.
“You did and you were right. Best cinnamon roll I have ever tasted, hands down,” you laughed, pulling your wallet from your purse. “It was the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning.”
Well, that wasn’t entirely true but you’d rather not admit that you’d been thinking about something else that was almost the same shade as cinnamon alright, but it wasn’t a baked good. It was those eyes, intense and burning, challenging your own across the flames. You didn’t even want to admit to yourself how much he’d managed to get under your skin, crawling and burrowing deep.
“You want a latte to go with it?” asked Millie.
“Yes, please,” you responded, impressed that she remembered your drink of choice after one time considering how many orders she must handle in a day.
“So, did you get to explore much of our town yesterday?” the sweet lady questioned as she foamed the milk for your coffee.
“I did, actually. I went to the library and grabbed a couple books and then I went down to the lake for a bit. I stopped into the Hawkins diner to grab a late lunch and wound up making some new friends.”
“Well, that’s wonderful,” beamed Millie, slipping a sleeve onto the paper cup and handing it over to you, her fingers darting across the keys of the cash register to ring up the sale. “And who are these new friends?”
“I don’t know if you’d know them…”
She laughed, waving her hand dismissively in your direction, “Darling, I have lived in this town my whole damn life. There isn’t anybody I don’t know within the town limits. Where do you think they all get their coffee from?”
“Oh…well, I met Max Mayfield at the diner and she invited me out to a bonfire with her friends at the lake last night. There were a whole bunch of people there. Umm…there was Robin, Steve, Mike, El, Lucas, Argyle, Jonathan, Nancy, Will, and this guy named Eddie.”
Your cheeks blazed hot as you spoke his name and you found yourself once again questioning why. It was like you had no control of your body’s reaction to even the mere mention of him.
Millie’s lips flattened against one another and she nodded, “You met yourself a nice group of people then. I get pizza from Argyle’s every single Friday night. Boy could use a hair cut but he makes a mean pie. Who ever heard of pineapple on pizza? But I’ll tell you, he knows what he’s doing. And I take my little Bella to Robin’s grooming place every month for a shampoo and a cut. And Officer Harrington is just the nicest guy. He’s always in here picking up donuts for the station. So, what did you think of everyone?”
You had the distinct impression that Millie was fishing for something specific but what she hoped to catch, you couldn’t be sure.
“Oh, I loved them. They were a great group of people. I thought they were all really nice. Well, most of them were anyway. Eddie didn’t seem to like me all that much.”
“And why would that be? You seem perfectly likable to me.”
“I don’t know,” you admitted with a shrug. “I didn’t do or say anything. I mean, at least I don’t think I did. Well, I may have after he was rude to me but he said stuff first. He was kind of a jerk from the moment he saw me, acting like I was some intruder on his little group and wasn’t welcome.”
“Well, now, you be a little patient with that boy, okay? He’s been through a lot and it’s…well, it’s made it hard for him to trust new people but he’ll come around. He’s a sweetheart, really. He jumped my car for me just a few weeks ago when it wouldn’t start and he came over and helped me clean my gutters last year. My husband, Roy, keeps trying to act like he’s still twenty years younger than he is. He’s stubborn as a mule. He refuses to accept that there are things he just shouldn’t be doing anymore and that man’s gonna kill himself one day. I happened to be complaining about it when Eddie was in here grabbing some coffee and he just offered. Came over that weekend and went up that ladder and took care of it. I tried to pay him but he wouldn’t have it. He did let me give him some cookies though. The people in this town have been unfair to him, downright cruel if you ask me, and it’s not right. That boy’s been through enough. Don’t you go doing it too.”
Your eyes widened, shocked at Millie’s tone, as if you were the one who should be sorry, as if you were the one who’d been so damn irrational. You tried to mesh the image of the rude man you met last night who could barely carry on a civil conversation with the picture that Millie was painting but it was difficult. Based on what the coffee shop owner had told you, Eddie sounded like the nicest guy in the world so what was it about you that made him so damn unpleasant?
“I won’t. I like to come to my own conclusions about people,” you assured her. That was something you’d learned as a teacher. Previous teachers always wanted to laundry list all the bad qualities about a kid but you never wanted to know. You wanted to meet the kids yourself, build a relationship, and make your own judgment calls.
“But he makes it a little difficult when he’s rude for no reason,” you tried.
Millie raised her eyebrows at you and you groaned.
“Fine. I will try to give him a chance but only because it’s you asking.”
Millie smiled, clearly mollified, “That’s my girl. Just for that, I am going to add in a chocolate chip cookie for you to enjoy later.”
“If you keep giving me free treats, you’re never going to get rid of me.”
“Maybe that’s my plan,” the jovial woman laughed. “Maybe I’m just ensuring you stick around for a while. I think this town could be better with you in it and I think you could be better in this town.”
Your head tilted, a bit taken aback by her statement. “Oh, I think you’re going to be stuck with me for a while, especially now that I’ve found some friends. Speaking of, can I ask you something? You don’t have to tell me if it’s none of my business. I didn’t want to ask Max because it seemed rude with us not really knowing each other that well yet, but do you know why she wears sunglasses all the time?”
“Oh, that…” Millie paused, resting her arms on top of the bakery display. “Listen hon, that’s some ugly business that you don’t need to worry yourself about. That girl got lucky, very lucky that that’s all she was left with. That’s all I’m going to say about that, okay?”
“But…”
The woman held up her hand, “Darling, I don’t like talking about that time. This whole town would just rather forget it. It was a dark time for Hawkins. We’ve all moved on and there’s no point in dredging up bad things from the past that we can’t change. You’re new here and you’re so young and starting fresh after a divorce. Don’t be worrying your head about ugly stuff that had nothing to do with you.”
“Wait. How did you know I was divorced?” you asked, almost certain you hadn’t mentioned it yesterday.
“Young girl starting over in a new town? Hiding here for four months before you finally unveiled your pretty little face to us all? Getting all hung up on the mysterious new guy you met last night? Please. That has all the markings of a relationship gone wrong and a girl trying to find her place in the world again, to get a second chance.”
“I…what…mysterious guy…Millie, all I said about Eddie was that he was rude and didn’t seem to like me. I am not hung up on him.”
“Maybe so but he’s also the only one that made your face go bright red when I asked you what you thought.” She reached across the counter, patting the top of your hand with a wink. “Listen, I think it’s wonderful. That boy needs a good girl. He needs someone to love and someone that will love him, treat him with kindness. He’s been alone for far too long.”
You snatched your hand back, “Whoa there. It’s nothing like that. I just met him and trust me, he didn’t seem like he was looking for anything romantic or anyone new period. I believe he even stated that he has no need for new friends.”
Millie snorted, rolling her eyes, “Of course he did. I’m calling it right now. You two will be in here getting your morning coffee together within the month. I can tell attraction when I see it and it’s written as plain as day all over your face.”
“You’re wrong, Millie. There is not any kind of attraction going on,” you argued, shaking your head and grabbing your breakfast, suddenly eager to get out of the cafe and away from the woman who seemed adamant to hook you up with the one person who didn’t seem keen to even breathe the same air as you.
“We’ll see about that,” she sang, wiggling her fingers at you as you hurried out the door.
____________________________________________________________
You had never been so relieved to see your house, something you thought you’d never think after spending months cooped up inside it. You strode up the walkway, trying to push all of Millie’s words out of your head. It was all you’d been able to focus on during the walk home, almost walking into a car you didn’t see, the driver honking angrily at you.
That woman didn’t know what she was talking about. She didn’t even know you. She couldn’t see your attraction to Eddie written on you. It didn’t work like that and it didn’t matter anyway. You had no intention of pursuing anything with a guy whose mood was as pleasant as being stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the freeway when you really had to pee.
You stepped up onto the front porch of your house, the warm cup of coffee between your hands. You pulled your cardigan tightly around yourself. The May morning still held onto the chill of the previous night, the day not quite warming up yet. The sun was shining bright, the sky a bright blue that promised a pleasant spring afternoon. The puffy white clouds, gathered in heaps, reminded you of marshmallows, quickly bringing your thoughts back to last night.
There was definitely something strange going on in this town, something strange with that group. Lucas’s response, that they’d all been through a lot, felt like a collective answer about something specific. Dustin and Robin had gotten very weird when you asked what they’d all been through. And yeah, everyone went through shit and you couldn’t begin to imagine the hardships Robin had gone through, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that it was more than that. It felt like they all got together every year on that beach because of something they’d all dealt with together, something dark and ugly as Millie had described it. Hadn’t Max begun to say something at the diner about it being more than just a celebration of spring arriving and then cut herself off?
That wasn’t to say that, strange or not, you didn’t enjoy all of them. You did, very much so. They had been so kind, welcoming you into whatever kind of private celebration they were clearly having. Everyone had been so sweet and friendly and seemed more than happy to have you join their little party on the beach. Almost everyone at least.
Your eyes fell on your coffee, a pair of eyes the same shade flickering through your mind, haunting you, just the way they had last night as you had lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, waiting for sleep that just wouldn't come. You’d spent most of the night tossing and turning, your brain replaying every little interaction you’d had with the grumpy mechanic, getting more and more irritated with yourself for even caring.
And why did you care? You’d just met him. This Eddie guy was nothing to you. So, why were you letting him consume your thoughts, steal your chance at a good night’s rest? It had been a fun night if you took him out of the equation. Why were you allowing him to ruin it for you, to become the one thing you could focus on out of the entire evening?
It was those eyes, damn it. They’d looked at you with such hardness and disdain but then a moment later had melted into this warmth that had seeped into your skin, flowing through to the tips of your fingers and toes. And something else…behind the bravado, the arrogance, there was something haunted about him, something hurting.
You would swear there was a pain just beyond the obvious annoyance. There was more to that man than met the eye, things he was trying to keep buried deep, covering them with his attitude. It felt like he was trying to hide in plain sight, to protect himself but you didn’t know what from and honestly, why were you making it your problem to fix? It wasn’t. He wasn’t your problem.
You rested her forehead against the post of your front porch with a groan. Jesus, what were you doing? You didn’t know anything about this guy. You were allowing Millie’s words to infect you, to contaminate you. You were probably making shit up in your head to excuse why he’d been such a dick to you when the answer was probably so much simpler than that. He just didn’t like you. He didn’t like some newcomer crashing their little party and why should he? You’d had no right to be there, not really, especially if it had always been their thing.
Alright, enough of that. You had just stopped obsessing over one guy, trying to break down every gesture and comment to figure out the internal workings of his mind and how he could do the things he’d done. You sure as hell weren’t going to start obsessing over another one. That was not part of the new you, new life plan.
Eddie didn’t like you, plain and simple. And yeah, he was sexy as hell, heartbreakingly beautiful actually, in a very annoying and infuriating kind of way, but he was still just a guy and not a very likable one anyway.
Even if he’d sat outside your house to make sure you got in safe, that didn’t mean anything. He probably just didn’t want to have to explain to his friends if you’d gone missing or been murdered in your garage and he’d been the one to take you home. Wouldn’t want to be the last one seen with you, the number one suspect when the cops started asking around.
“Ugh!” you growled loudly, rolling your head, a satisfying pop loosening your stiff neck from your restless night. No. You were not going to do this. You didn’t give a shit why he didn’t like you. It didn’t matter.
It was Sunday and by the looks of it, it was going to be a beautiful day. You stepped down off the porch, turning to face the house. You took inventory of your space, trying to paint a mental image of what you wanted for the spring and summer. Lots of vivid bright colors to brighten up your days, a full garden to keep you busy and give you something to fill your time over summer break that was now only a handful of weeks away. You would go to the greenhouse and get some plants. Nothing like some physical labor and getting dirt under your fingernails to get out of your own head and back to reality.
The only problem was that you didn’t have a car yet and there was no way you were going to be able to haul all of those plants back on your bike. Did you really want to make multiple trips, buying only a couple things at a time? You pulled your cell phone from your pocket, flipping it open, scrolling through the numbers that your new friends had punched into your phone last night.
You considered calling Steve for a moment but quickly dismissed it, not wanting to give him the wrong idea if he’d been leaning in that direction even slightly. The way he’d wiped the marshmallow from your mouth, his thumb lingering over your lips, made you think he just might. You definitely didn’t need that kind of complication in your life right now. You scrolled back up to Nancy and pressed the call button.
“Hello?” she answered after three rings.
“Hey, Nancy. It’s me.”
“Oh! Hi!” Nancy sang happily as if your call was the best thing that had happened to her today. It bolstered your confidence a bit, having felt just a tad presumptuous for calling her, for assuming she might want to hang out after meeting you once. “What’s up?”
“Well, I’ve been meaning to get some plants for my garden at my new house and it’s supposed to be a beautiful day. I was thinking about running to the greenhouse, but then I remembered that I don’t have a car. Kind of hard to haul a bunch of plants on a bike. I was wondering if maybe you’d want to tag along and possibly be my transportation? I know it’s kind of last minute and it’s kind of a big ask for you to donate time on your weekend. If you’re busy, I totally understand.”
“No. I’m not busy at all,” Nancy laughed. “Jonathan and I are just laying here in our pajamas being bums this morning. We’ve got nothing going on today. That sounds like fun, actually. A lot more fun than hanging here with him and his friends later. You want me to call Robin? We could grab some lunch or something and make it a girls day!”
“Oh…yeah, I would love that. That sounds great,” you grinned, pleasantly surprised at how excited you were. After months of wanting nothing more than to curl into a ball and be alone, you were genuinely looking forward to spending time with people.
“Okay. Give me just a bit to get ready. I’ll shower and call Robin and then we’ll come pick you up. What’s your address?”
“Oh, it’s 444 Euclid.”
“Seriously? You’re right around the corner from us!” Nancy shrieked happily. “We’re practically neighbors. Alright, I should be there around eleven. Does that work?”
“Yeah, that’s perfect.”
You hung up, that feeling from yesterday creeping in again. That feeling that was eagerness for the day ahead that you hadn’t felt in so long. No more going through the motions of eat, work, sleep for you. You had friends now. You had plans. You had a to-do list that was growing longer by the day, things you wanted to do to make this place your own. This was definitely the beginning of a new chapter and you found you were excited for what life had in store for you for the first time in a year.
___________________________________________________________
“Thank you so much,” you told your new friends as you sat on the front porch, enjoying lemonade, a well deserved break after some hard work in the afternoon sun. “This would have taken me forever by myself. I can’t wait to see what this looks like when everything finally starts to bloom.”
It had taken you a few hours of sweaty, dirty work but you finally had everything planted in the garden. You had not expected Nancy and Robin to help you with the planting. You’d figured you would go to lunch, head to the greenhouse, and then they would drop you off and you would spend the rest of the day working in your garden. But they’d insisted and you hadn’t been ready to be rid of their company so you’d agreed. It had been far more fun that it would have been alone.
The three of you’d had a very nice lunch at the diner, chatting with Max in between her taking orders and serving other customers. You were somehow now going roller skating with everyone on Thursday. You were taken aback by this group’s instant acceptance of you, how easily they included you, but you were also incredibly grateful for it, knowing you needed to actually start living your life if you were going to start having one.
At the greenhouse, you had strolled along every aisle, Nancy and Robin extremely patient as you looked for plants of various colors that would give you the vision you wanted so badly. You’d bought a couple of large hostas that would be a pale blue, some Black Dragon coleus that would be a deep burgundy color, pink Hollyhock, blazing orange Day Lilies, bright yellow Black Eyed Susans, and some Butterfly Weed. You’d also bought two large pots for your porch and some purple Coneflowers for those. A couple bushes to frame your porch and you were feeling almost giddy at the picture that painted itself in your mind, what your house would look like in another month when everything started really growing.
This place was finally starting to feel like your own, a place you could see yourself settling in for the future. A sense of peace and tranquility fell over you as you sat on the porch with your friends. This was your safe space in the middle of the chaos that was life. This was a space that could be filled with love and happiness in the future, a space that could be filled with friends, a space that could be the site of memories you would remember far into the future.
“No problem,” Robin replied from where she sat on the floor, her back resting against the brick of the porch, raising her glass slightly. “Here’s to us kicking ass and getting all this work done in one afternoon.”
“I will definitely cheer for that,” you agreed, leaning forward in the swing to clink your glasses carefully. “Seriously, I would probably be working on this until dark if it weren’t for you two. Possibly still working on it through next weekend.”
“Well, we are pretty amazing,” Robin grinned.
You smiled, “You will get no argument from me.”
Nancy tilted her head, “I can’t wait to see what it looks like when everything starts to bloom. This house is really cute.”
You leaned back, taking a sip of your lemonade, smiling softly. “I really do love this house. This swing is actually what clinched the decision for me. Maybe a stupid reason to buy a house. I know it needs some work. It’s a bit of a fixer upper for sure but it has so much character and honestly, I’m looking forward to the manual labor. My brain could use the distraction for a while, especially with weeks of nothing but endless days ahead of my soon once school lets out.”
“I’m sure,” Nancy commented, her tone gentle, not pitying but empathetic. You were thankful for that. You’d run to Hawkins to get away from all the pity. You couldn’t bear it if your new friends started looking at you like that too. “I can’t even imagine what that must have been like for you. To find out your husband is cheating is bad enough but with your best friend? What kind of friend does that?”
“Not a very good one,” you replied, tugging on the edge of your sweater. “I thought she was. I mean, Cassie and I had been friends since tenth grade, since I first moved to Galena. She was the first person who was friendly to me, you know? I walked into my first class, Geometry, nervous as hell because it sucks being the new face, wondering if anyone is going to talk to you. The moment I sat down she was asking me all kinds of questions about myself and rambling about her life and it didn’t stop all morning because we wound up having every single class together. Cassie always said it was kismet. We were platonic soulmates or something, destined to meet and be in each other’s lives forever.”
“Sounds like you and Steve,” Nancy laughed, looking knowingly over at Robin.
“Yeah, besides the fact that he’s not a woman so completely not romantic territory for me, Steve is pretty much everything else to me,” Robin agreed with a chortle. “I couldn’t stand him in high school. Oh, he was awful. He was such a prick. So many dumb girls were always hanging all over him, desperate for any small ounce of attention the King would bestow on them.”
“Hey!” Nancy shouted, looking offended.
“Sorry, present company excluded, obviously,” Robin snorted dramatically with a roll of her eyes.
“Wait…you and Steve?” you asked, shocked though you didn’t know why. You didn’t know these people that well but honestly, you could see it. Nancy looked like the kind of girl that would have dated a guy like Steve Harrington back in high school. Hell, you had been the kind of girl who dated a guy like Steve Harrington in high school.
Nancy’s cheeks flushed, her lips pressing together as she shook her head, “Yeah, my sophomore year into my junior year. I was over the moon that Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington wanted to give me the time of day. I felt like the chosen one, like I’d won the boyfriend lottery. All the girls were so jealous of me because I had managed to snag the King. But uh, it didn’t end up working out, obviously.”
“Why not? I mean, if you don’t mind me asking.”
“I don’t mind. A lot of shit went down,” explained Nancy, her eyes squinting as if she were having to think far harder about the answer than she should have. It seemed like a fairly simple question. Relationships failed all the time. “My best friend, Barb, she went missing and I kind of spiraled out of control. I mean, I completely lost my shit. Jonathan’s brother, Will, also went missing. It was a really ugly time and Jonathan and I grew closer, kind of clung to each other, during it all. Two people who were going through the same thing, shared trauma…at least that’s what we were told. It wasn’t too long before I realized that I’d fallen hopelessly in love with him. I still feel awful about doing that to Steve. It wasn’t the right way to go about it but I realized that as much as I liked Steve, I wasn’t in love with him. You probably think I’m an awful person now, don’t you? Especially after everything you’ve been through.”
“No, I don’t,” you assured her, surprised to find that you meant it. “I mean, you can’t help how you feel. The heart wants what it wants. Love makes you act like a crazy person and do shit you never thought you were capable of.” Honestly, the relationship stuff was the last thing you were  focusing on from everything Nancy had just divulged. “But…your best friend and Will went missing at the same time? Obviously, they found Will. But what about your friend, Barb? Did you find her? What happened? Where were they?”
A flash of agony flickered over Nancy’s face, almost as if someone had pinched her suddenly. She curled her fingers in front of her, examining her nails carefully. You got the impression that your questions were bringing up some very painful stuff for her and you were sorry for that but you couldn’t help the curiosity you felt about what exactly was going on here. Every little snippet of information they gave you only left you with even more questions.
“No…uh, we never found Barb,” she answered, her voice cracking painfully. “There was a lab here at one time. Hawkins lab. Nobody in the town really paid too much attention to it. It was just some big building and no one knew or cared what they did in there. It turned out they were doing some illegal testing and Barb was accidentally exposed to toxic chemicals. They tried to hide the body, to conceal what had happened. The government wanted to cover it all up, brush it under the rug, but it all got brought to light in the end. We had a funeral with an empty casket but at least we had some closure. At least her parents got some closure. They were…it was so hard for them, not knowing, you know? They sold their house to pay for a private investigator. He was actually the one who blew the story wide open.” She cleared her throat. “Umm…and Will…it turned out that he got lost in the woods for a week. He was just a kid and he was exploring and he couldn’t find his way back. But luckily, they found him. He was in bad shape, had to spend some time in the hospital, but obviously he’s okay now.”
“Yeah, they actually had a funeral for him and everything but then miraculously there he was,” Robin added and you didn’t miss the look Nancy shot at her from the side, as if she’d said more than she should have.
“You had a funeral for him when he’d only been missing for a week?” you asked in disbelief. “That seems kind of fast. I mean, people go missing for months, years even, and they don’t do that. Did you all really think there was no hope that quickly?”
“Oh,” Robin squeaked, suddenly looking nervous, as if she realized the mistake she’d just made. “Umm…well, they had the funeral because they thought he was dead. There was a body of a boy who drowned found at the quarry.”
“A body? Whose body?” you demanded, extremely invested in this story.
Hawkins was such a small town. It seemed so quiet here, so quaint and normal. Missing people, government lab cover-ups, and bodies being found was the last thing you’d ever expected to come across when moving here. When Millie had told you this town had a dark past she hadn’t been exaggerating.
“We don’t know,” Nancy interjected quickly. “It was another kid, around Will’s age. But the body was really decomposed from being in the water for so long so it was almost impossible to identify. They just assumed it was Will because he was the only kid missing in town. But then he turned out to be alive and they never could identify who the kid was that they found in the water. Whoever it was wasn’t from around here.”
Your brow furrowed as you listened to the explanation, thinking it sounded insane. Did the people of this town really just believe that a random body was the boy that was missing without any identification done? And what about this random kid that drowned? They just let it go? Where did he come from? He had to belong to somebody. Someone was out there missing their child, never knowing what had happened to him. How had no one come forward to claim him?
This was all beginning to sound like some weird dystopian novel to you: government conspiracies, illegal lab testing, misidentified bodies, cover-ups, Max’s need for sunglasses, Eddie’s story about rabid raccoons attacking him. How did a small town like this have such a sordid past? And why would a government lab set up operations in such a small town unless they were trying to stay hidden? What were they really doing there? Something bigger was going on here, something none of them seemed to want to talk about.
“Hey, what are you doing for dinner?” Nancy asked loudly, breaking you from your dive down the rabbit hole. You looked up to find your new friend looking at you eagerly.
“Dinner?” you asked, trying to follow the sudden change of topic. “Oh, I was probably just going to make grilled cheese or something easy and maybe work on my lesson plans. I didn’t get a chance to finish them at school, story of my life.”
“No, you’re definitely not doing that,” Nancy told you. “Come back to my place with us. Jonathan was ordering pizza for him and the guys and he always orders way more than we need anyway or Argyle just shows up with extra.”
“Thanks, but I really don’t want to intrude again,” you said, shaking your head. “I already butted into your annual friends thing last night and I feel kind of bad about it. I’ll be fine on my own.”
“Oh nonsense,” Robin huffed, rising to her feet. “You are our friend now. You’re not intruding on anything. We’re inviting you. We wouldn’t invite you if we didn’t want you there. The guys aren’t going to care and if they do, screw them.”
“Yeah, screw them,” Nancy agreed with a smile. “We can grab a bottle of wine and go hang out in the backyard if they’re being idiots. Who needs those dumb guys anyway?”
“Okay, if you’re sure,” you relented with a small shrug, not wanting to show how pleased you actually were.
“Of course we’re sure,” Nancy asserted with a smile.
You really didn’t want to overstay your welcome, so to speak. You didn’t want them to get tired of you or think you were clingy. They’d just met you and you didn’t want to come across as needy, even though you really kind of were. Needy for human connection, for conversation, for fun, for something to do, something to fill your time with.
“Let me just clean up a bit and change clothes?” “Sure, take your time,” Nancy told you, sipping her lemonade. “Robin and I will be right here waiting when you’re ready.”
Those words were like a balm to your heart but you’d never tell them that. Hearing that you had people, people who would be there waiting for you when you were ready, was like a band-aid over the wound that had been bleeding out for months. You were ready, more than ready to let it heal over.

Streamer Enid had to stop doing reactions to viewer submitted content for streams because people kept sending in Wednesday content. Someone made a list of their favorite reactions of hers
A photo of Wednesday soaked in blood from a behind the scenes video: "GAWD DAMN- SORRY, SORRY, CHAT NO- CHAT I'M NOT A SIMP. I'M NOT!"
A picture of Wednesday in a lovely suit: *Enid just stares. Big eyes, not talking, moving, just staring.* "AnYWayS- anyways- no, I did not just go through puberty, you're hearing things."
A video of Wednesday beating the head of prop design and management in an arm wrestling contest, the man is twice her size and built like a truck: "I- wow that is a- okay, yeah- greoo- good for him."
Wednesday in a version of her Rave'n dance dress, modified: "Momm- Ma'am, Ma'aM, I SAID MA'AM CHAT, I SAID MA'AM- NO, DON'T SEND HER THIS CLIP, DON'T SEND HER THIS C-" the video ends abruptly as Enid slams her hand over the camera's lens, banging can be heard along with frantic swearing as Enid fails to hit the end stream button 8 times in a row.
An image of Wednesday on a talk show, proudly speaking about her spouse: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

[Cami is pregnant and is helping out at her middle brother’s café, (She was going a little stir-crazy being at home all day.) And is currently dealing with a very annoying woman. Who will not stop snapping their damn fingers at her, Cami is organizing the till when.]
Entitled woman: *snap, snap.* You there! The pregnant one! Where is my waiter?! We’ve been waiting for over ten minutes!”
{Soap who’s stopped by for lunch is just annoyed at this woman’s attitude, while Cami just puts on a customer service smile and replies.]
Cami: He is on his way back with your adjusted meal, ma’am. You made quite a few modifications so it might take longer.
[She goes back to the counter, about to speak to Smoke who just arrived, but then hears the snapping again. Cami turns to face the woman again…]
Entitled woman: I wasn’t done with you! Hurry up and get us our drinks! We’re thirsty!
Cami: Ma’am, I am serving some other customers right now. Your waiter will be out very soon and he will gladly serve your drinks for you.
[Cami tries to turn away but the woman snaps her fingers at Cam, yet again! they’ve had enough.]
Entitled woman: When I snap my fingers, I expect you to come!
Cami:...
[Cami gives the woman a sly grin.]
Cami: Unlikely Ma’am, the only person who can make me come with their fingers is my husband. Good-day ~
{Cue Soap choking on his food while Smoke pats him on the back, trying hard not to laugh! the old woman’s face turns red and she starts screeching for a manager! Only to find out that not only was the “rude sl*t” not an employee, but she was also the café owner’s younger sister! Needless to say, that old hag asked for her food to go!]
{Cut to Soap and Smoke are driving Cami back to her and Koing’s house.]
Soap: I would’ve punch that old bat in the throat the second she started snapping her fingers at me like I were some sort of Shetland hound!
Smoke: I don’t know how you can handle people like that on a daily bases, Cam. You must have nerves of steel!
Cami: Did you two forget that I used to be a teacher? I’m used to dealing with entitled brats!
{When König comes home, he asked Cami how her day went? Needless to say, König wishes he could been there the see that old lady’s reaction and give his Cami a much needed high-five.]

Cam I request for NSFW headcanons for Speedwagon ( I won't let this man die without some pus-) or Johnny 😃 ( because ... why not 🤷‍♂️) . You're choice !!!
AYOOOOOOOOOO FINALLY GOT TO ANSWER YOUR REQUEST First of all, I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY FOR THE DELAY Here I only have the Speedwagon headcanons, because I plan to do something different with Johnny👀 but anyway, I hope you like it! Next time I promise not to let the cobwebs spread through my inbox 😭 AND DON'T WORRY, SPEEDWAGON WON'T DIE WITHOUT SOME PUSSY
Tumblr media
Robert E. O. Speedwagon - NSFW Headcanons
Silly little British
Maybe not that little
A gentleman, despite everything
But probably as nasty as Joseph would be
When he asked you out for the first time, you could only see a shy boy
Cordial, maybe too much so. To the point of holding back from calling you "milady"
He's a lonely man, so don't expect too much confidence from him
Because he's a loner, it's to be expected that being your butler is his love language
Or a strange way of flirting
This man is obsessed with you as if you were a priceless work of art
If someone harms his work of art, that person is dead
HE WOULD DIE AND KILL FOR YOU
And yet he feels like he would die of a heart attack whenever he's alone with you
At first, he restricts himself to modest kisses on your cheek or neck
You need to show that you're comfortable enough to unleash the beast in this man
He wants to keep you on his lap practically ALL THE TIME
He secretly likes to look down on you, as if you were a mere mortal facing a deity
To him, you're like a siren. And he's too weak to resist one
Now to the point, why you'll never understand HOW THAT MAN COULD BE IN ANY WAY SOLITARY
We're talking about a medium-sized cock, thick and strangely soft. Something velvety, the kind you always feel like touching. It's noticeable that he trims it regularly.
After taking off his own clothes, he takes off yours
But before he does, he asks your permission with a look, like a puppy
He's careful, touching every inch of your skin as if to memorize it
Lots of kisses before, during and after, as well as the next day and the day after that
Even naked, he's very hot, so don't be as alarmed as the neighbors when he starts opening the windows to cool down the room
No matter what he's doing, call him by his first name in a charming way and you'll see this man melt down
He'll kiss you and massage you all over, whispering silly, meaningless things in your ear hoping you'll be as numb with pleasure as he is to pay attention
Sometimes you'll notice that he's simply paralyzed, gazing at you
At first you thought it was some kind of joke, but after many nights of repeating it, you discovered that it was simply the stunned reaction to seeing the ivory sculpture that was your naked body in front of him
This man will ensure that you are the most satisfied lady in the United Kingdom
He'll also make sure he's the most affable lover
Also lie on, touch or kiss his chest when necessary (believe me, it will be necessary), it drives him crazy
If you like rough men and a bit of pain, I'm sorry, but Speedwagon is a gentleman and would never hurt a flower as beautiful as you.
If you beg, maybe he'll reconsider. But for now, he just allows himself to fuck you until you scream. But hitting? Not in a thousand years
But he doesn't mind being choked while you ride him
He could beg on his knees for you to sit on his face, but his virtues and shyness won't allow it
So sit on his face. He may not be asking for it, but you can be sure he wants it and needs it
Sometimes, involuntarily, he may end up becoming a little more dominant
But it will still be slow and sensual, unless you ask him to be rougher
Deep down, he loves to see you beg for more
Don't forget to scratch his back or pull his hair, he'll be delighted to see you doing it
If you tease him enough, he'll trap you under his body and destroy you
Or he'll do it with you standing up, holding you down so your legs don't collapse
Yes, he'll do it in front of the open window if he's wild enough
But this brief moment of wildness is only limited to when he's madly horny
After that, he'll go back to being the good old Speedwagon
He'll give you more kisses, that's obvious
If you're sore, he won't hesitate to give you a massage and clean you up
He'll keep whispering things in your ear about how you're driving him crazy and how well you've done
You can sense in the tone of his voice how sleepy he is, and you can't help but fear for your life at the prospect of him collapsing on you like a bear
He's not a man with a lot of stamina, and needs a long hibernation to recover it
However, make sure you wake up after him the next morning and you'll have a nobleman's breakfast

If you watched the BBC coverage you might have been a bit surprised, like me, that India Hicks was interviewed just shortly before the balcony appearance. She was part of the fashion commentary on the royal women's clothes today.
India Hicks is the daughter of Pamela Hicks, Charles' cousin, Lord Mountbattens daughter. Lady Pamela was snubbed for the coronation, allegedly because Camilla doesn't quite like her. Both lady Pamela and India have taken this quite sportingly but ... But ...
India was asked what she thought of Catherine and Charlotte wearing the fancy flower headbands. Instead of commenting on that she straight up mentioned that she was one of Diana's bridesmaids. And rode with her in the carriage. And she mentioned Diana's wedding dress and how big the train was that when she got into the carriage, the same carriage, her train took up all the room.
Lol ... I have to hand it to India , she mentioned the one who shall not be named. And it kinda hinted at what may be Cam's insecurities regarding Charles' usual aristo friend circle that was famously snubbed for this event today.
LOL I happened to catch that in real time too and had the same reaction as you

Late Night with the Devil (2024) review
Tumblr media
Nothing beats retro 70’s demonic haunting. It was a simpler time…
Plot: Johnny Carson rival Jack Delroy hosts a syndicated talk show ‘Night Owls’ that has long been a trusted companion to insomniacs around the country. However, ratings for the show have plummeted since the tragic death of Jack's beloved wife. Desperate to turn his fortunes around, on October 31st, 1977, Jack plans a Halloween special like no other- unaware he is about to unleash evil into the living rooms of America.
Ladies and gentlemen, please do not adjust your television sets, for there is a new found-footage horror film in town from the indy circuit, and it might just breath the right amount of fresh air into an oversaturated genre. Personally I’ve never been a major fan of found-footage. I hear folks raving about the original Blair Witch Project yet all I watched was a bunch of guys running around the woods screaming endlessly for no reason. Additionally the shaky-cam element can be so dizzying and sickly that I truly end up questioning the entertainment value of it all. There are exceptions to the rule of course. 2008’s science fiction invasion popcorn flick Cloverfield was tons of fun, as it provided a genuine experience of what it would be like if you were thrown right into the middle of monster attack in the millennial age. There are also some genuine scares and the found footage format worked really well with the film’s themes. I too enjoyed the 2020 black comedy Spree, where Joe Keery’s driver goes on a murder spree whilst constantly filming himself in hopes of becoming a viral sensation. It may not be a five-star ride, but it earns its tip for being a well crafted and inspired effort. To be fair, The Visit from M. Night Shyamalamadingdong was enjoyable piece of horror involving creepy grandparents. Okay, maybe I do enjoy found-footage flicks, but as long as they are decently made and that format style supports the narrative in a cohesive and advantageous way.
With Late Night with the Devil, ideologies of faith and the paranormal are challenged through the lens of the late-night TV format. Think how the 1976 Network analysed the corruption of the television industry, and how the camera can influence the politics and beliefs of those watching, Late Night with the Devil does the same but with the supernatural. Presented as a rediscovered master tape of a notorious Halloween late night special, it feels like we’re watching an actual talk show in real time, and the 70’s inspiration is in full display here from the grainy monitor display to the costumers to the special effects. It truly feels like we’re looking into a time capsule of the past, and that this all really happened. Again, found-footage as a filmmaking style works when it serves the purpose of the narrative, which in this case it does. It is a shame then that the movie in its finale loses the found-footage element and instead opts for the shock value by showcasing a dream-like vision of one of the characters. Granted at the time of watching the ending it did give me a “what the fuck” reaction that the movie was going for, but looking back this sequence did hinder what otherwise was a fantastic piece of creepy unique horror.
Performances across the entire cast were great and really dedicated. Wonderful to see David Dastmalchian finally get a leading role, as he’s always been a stand-out supporting performer, whether he was polka-dotting in The Suicide Squad, or stealing the comedic limelight from Paul Rudd in the Ant-Man movies, or being a haunting presence in every Denis Villeneuve epic. Dastmalchian is a true scene stealer, and at age 48 it is shocking that only now he finally gets a lead role. Regardless he is fantastic as Jack Delroy, as he balances the charming charisma of a late-night talk show host whilst also showcases the inner demons of this character, still mourning the recent death of his wife, as well as his eagerness to become relevant again after consistently losing ratings. From the quivers in his voice to the fear in his eyes, this is a really juicy showcasing role for Dastmalchian and one that is sure to be a memorable one when looking back on the actor’s rich filmography. Ingrid Torelli as Lilly the possessed survivor of a Satanic cult was truly creepy and unnerving. From her voice changes to her awkward movements, she truly felt unnatural, or dare I say supernatural, and her strangeness was at times even comical, but also really uncomfortable. Ian Bliss as Carmichael Hunt, a paranormal sceptic, too gave a powerhouse performance, delivering lines with prowess and was a truly commanding presence. Rhys Auteri rounds up the cast as Gus the announcer of Jack’s late night show, acting very befit of, say, a Higgins for Jimmy Fallon or a Guillermo for Jimmy Kimmel. He very much embraced the role as Dastmalchian’s side-kick and provided some solid light-hearted comedy to the proceedings.
Late Night with the Devil is a true delight for horror enthusiasts, with some great use of old-school practical effects evidently inspired by 1982’s The Thing, solid sound design that harkened back to that era of television, and enough unsettling moments of suspense to entertain and shock. Minus a couple of cheap electrical sparks there isn’t any CGI used which is refreshing, and overall visually the retro element was truly delightful. Again, the ending does scratch some heads, but overall this is a refreshing piece of campy horror, with a showcasing performance from Dastmalchian. In this you can truly put your faith on.
Overall score: 7/10

Find out the lighting used during his gay porn career (LED, incandescent, fluorescent also the grid frequency 50hz or 60hz), switch to said lighting, hope a Pavlovian reaction occurs and he wants to fuck you.
He was a dingy bedroom cam boy with lady gaga posters. So it wont be very hard

ok so i’m about to be reflective and rambly about some of my thoughts on the season so im putting it under a read more incase you want to skip because it is soooo long omg
ok so a lot of criticism on this season has been about The Flip™️ and how it ruined both corys game and the season. but i don’t think it’s that simple. to me there are many moments and choices that get made that helped build into the situation we are in now. flipping the vote on reilly week two which gave matt a huge chip on his shoulder and a wild vendetta against those who wronged her leading him to base so many moves on what she would want. was it good for cirie and izzy at the time i think it was but it did have long term consequences. you could also say that hisam telling his alliance they had to get matt out next but them flipping on hisam instead plus cirie green lighting matt saving jag(this isn’t all on her but she said she regrets not trying to stop him harder so i added it) lead to them forming a super tight bond that has helped them run the back half of the game. you could say leaving cameron (and bowie to an extent) out of the red blindside turning cams focus onto the ladies was unnecessary and it would have been better to include them. maybe that was the smarter play cause cam would have tried to stop it or maybe it made an unnecessary enemy. Maybe if meme hadn’t also been left out of that blindside till the last second cory wouldn’t have been able to get her to go along with the flip.
now in regards to the flip in question by this point that early core group had flipped (and blindsided) their alliance members more than once and cirie told matt she played path to power but not cory which eventually got back to him gave cory a reasonable opinion that they didn’t trust him and could cut him easily just like hisam and red. when you add that info to the fact that jared was acting like a total fool and on some extreme anti-cory shit that week plus izzy saying point blank america needs to go asap i wouldnt have felt secure with them either. now let’s be honest should have flipped that vote at that time even with all that info most likely not in my opinion because izzy at least liked him and was working with him while felicia could never let go of the belief that he was untrustworthy and that hurt him down the road. but would that have got him much further in the game? and would it have stopped the matt nag show? that’s hard to say because you can’t change one variable and assume every other event stays the same you know? like if izzy stayed but cory grew closer to america would they have gotten sketched and cut him earlier, or if he decided to ditch america would she have felt like she couldn’t trust cory and tried to turn people against him, if the blow up didn’t happen that week jared probably wouldn’t have been evicted that same night, so who would have gone in his place and how would that impact the game, if two people who were evicted didn’t have a whole week to chill in the house and put the game on pause would it not have given jatt time to set themselves up as the power structure or would cory have been able to keep momentum going and put together a solid group? instead? so i do think they should have taken out felicia that week probably but i don’t think doing so guarantees better results. i think its physics that’s like every action has an equal and opposite reaction and that’s true here too. this is a living game where people react to what is happening around them. every choice someone makes builds on each other any of those moments that i mentioned could have the right move or they could have backfired but they don’t exist in a vacuum you can’t isolate them from each other because one scenario only exists because of a choice someone else made

{What the Older ST Characters Wear as Halloween Costumes}
Tumblr media
Program: Just some spooky thoughts about how the older Stranger Things characters would dress up for a Halloween party.
Counselors: Argyle, Robin, Jonathan, Billy, Steve, Eddie, & Nancy
Genre: Fluff, Headcanon, Request
Warnings: Couple of swears, Mentions of drinking and drinking games, Mentions of weed and cigarettes, Not proofed
Counselor Notes: Thank you @staygoldwriting for the inspo! I was so tired from work today and didn't really know what to write. So incredibly sweet of you send a request <3 I had a lot of fun with this, but some of them were a challenge! I'm really happy with the lil scenarios and costume picks I cam up with :)
Argyle -> Inigo Montoya
Argyle is obsessed with is hair in the most non-vain way possible. He looks at himself and is filled with love by what he sees in the mirror. I just genuinely believe that he loves himself for who he is and cannot wait to see how he grows and changes with time. That leads me to think that he would want to show off his favorite features, and I think one of them would be his hair. Argyle is wooing everyone at the party. "I'm sorry, my lovely lady. I didn't mean to bump into you. Could I get you a drink to win back your favor?" "My good sir! I must say that you look incredibly dashing tonight. I'm afraid I'm going to have to steal you away later." "Have my eyes deceived me, or has the fairest being of all the land graced me with with their presence." Everyone is swooning for this Cali man.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robin Buckley -> Lydia Deetz
I would absolutely do anything to see Robin with a smudegy eye shadow look and choker necklace. Best part of this, she can just give everyone shit and tease them like usual while saying, "I'm in character. Deal with it or drop dead". She borrows Jonathan's camera for the night and takes snapshots of all the haunting events of the night. And on a free weekend when the film develops and she saves up to get copies of the photos and materials, she makes a mini scrapbooks for the friend group.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jonathan Byers -> Johnny
You can bet your ass that when he enters the party, Johnathan yells out, "Here's Johnny," with a fake hatchet. And the roaring reaction is so worth all nerves he dealt with when mustering the confidence on the way over. I don't think large parties are his scene, so he wanted to feel comfortable and needed to work with what he's got. Jonathan is a sucker for party games, so he is easily convinced to join whichever vice of the night. Truth or Dare? He loves to pull a prank on some unsuspecting party goer. King's Cup? You do not want to paired up as his "date", because he cannot for the life of him remember all of the rules and you will have to drink almost every time. Pong? Too good, and his favorite trick shot is to bounce it off the wall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Billy Hargrove -> Johnny Castle
This man just wanted to look hot, and he did it. Brought his leather jacket and mega watt smile, and it was immediate game over for any other guys trying to win the attention. Everyone is asking if he can do the lift, so he spends the most of his night in the back yard indulging all the pretty people who ask. The rest of the night? Either dancing to the Top 100 on the radio for the Spooktacular special, or he's just hanging out with his friends. Billy's trying to slowly allow himself to feel comfortable past his looks around the group, so he figured that a party would be a good middle ground. He could retreat to his flirty facade if he got too overwhelmed, and if he felt himself slipping, Billy could just hang out with one of the group.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Steve Harrington -> Han Solo
This man is a menace. He knows he's good looking. He knows that everyone has eyes for him and Harrison Ford. He knows what he's doing. But in all seriousness, Steve just wants to goof around with his friends. Definitely holds a pretty person "hostage" until their bounty is paid (either in head scratches, alcohol, weed, or cigs- he's not picky). When one of his friends comes into sight, Steve draws his water gun, that he spray painted black to try to make it look similar, and shoots them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eddie Munson -> Lost Boy
I think as much as Eddie loves to dress up, he wants to still be himself. So, he'll sort of insert himself into a franchise universe and dress up as if he was a character in it. Eddie loves the Lost Boys since he can see his some of his usual style peek through, but it also gives him a chance to explore a bit more of the glam rock aesthetic as well. And you know he has packets of fake blood to "bite" people and then leave a trail of blood on them. It's his personal goal to get each of his friends by the end of the night. Bonus points if they never realize he's targeting them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nancy Wheeler -> Heathers
So I've never seen the movie or musical, but when I think of Nancy- I think of her iconic prep aesthetic. I do think that she would want to stay somewhat in her comfort zone (I personally think she uses her clothes as a mental armor for the day just as Eddie), but she feels encouraged and supported to relax with her friends. She feels safe to experiment. I think she has a ball with her outfit, because she feels comfort and attractive at the same time. She carries around a matching croquette mallet and takes photos with everyone. She also carries a little purse where she manages to convince every party guest to give her something as party cover even though it's not her party, she just like collecting mementos. So she ends up with a bag of bottle caps, scrunchies, matchbooks, little knickknacks.

Charles Augustus Milverton
I said I wasn’t finished talking about this story because it is literally perfect
Surprisingly for me, I’m going to skip over the whole ‘Watson and Sherlock regularly go for evening walks together’ and go to the actual plot because it is  very interesting. CAM is a really well-written villain, I don’t like him of course because he’s kind of creepy, but that’s essentially the point of him. Compared to the other ACD villains, he’s one of the ‘better’ ones, if you can use that term. Moving on to how this woman came and SHOT him, repeatedly might I add, whilst saying ‘You will ruin no more lives as you ruined mine. You will wring no more hearts as you wrung mine. I will free the world of a poisonous thing. Take that, you hound, and that! - and that!- and that!’. Then GRINDS HER HEEL IN HIS FACE. And gets away with it all.
Do people say girl boss on here because girl boss.
I’m not sure what her names was (I don’t know if it was implied she was Lady Bracknell) but she’s my favourite character from the short stories and I am very annoyed that I haven’t seen her in an adaptation yet. (Please tell me if she was in one).
Whilst she’s murdering him, Sherlock and Watson are just watching behind a curtain, like ‘yep, okay, she’s good, we’ll leave her to it.’ At the end they see her picture in a shop. Basically Sherlock’s reaction:
Tumblr media
Moving on to...the beginning, I might have interpreted it wrong, but I’m pretty sure it’s implied that Watson is fully prepared to smash Milverton with a fucking chair because Sherlock wants to stop him from leaving.
‘I picked up a chair, but Holmes shook his head and I laid it down again.’
Then the greatest scene probably ever written in the entire canon, when Sherlock casually says he’s engaged and about to become a criminal.
This is a quick summary:
Sherlock: You don’t think I’m the type of person to get married?
Watson: No (sad because if Sherlock was he would have married him)
Sherlock: I’m engaged.
Watson: ...I mean great-
Sherlock: To Milverton’s housemaid
Watson: W H A T
Sherlock: Well, yeah, I need information. She wasn’t my type but anyway. Also I’m going to rob Milverton
Watson: THATS EVEN WORSE
Sherlock: I’ve thought it through, it’s fine
Then in the funniest passage where Sherlock thinks if he says ‘morally justifiable’ enough it will convince Watson. And it works.
[Exact quote this time I promise]
“Well, I don’t like it; but I suppose it must be,” said I. “When do we start?” “You are not coming.” “Then you are not going,” said I. “I give you my word of honour—and I never broke it in my life—that I will take a cab straight to the police station and give you away unless you let me share this adventure with you.” “You can’t help me.” “How do you know that? You can’t tell what may happen. Anyway, my resolution is taken. Other people beside you have self-respect and even reputations.”
Also, when Sherlock agrees:
“Well, well, my dear fellow, be it so. We have shared the same room for some years, and it would be amusing if we ended by sharing the same cell. You know, Watson, I don’t mind confessing to you that I have always had an idea that I would have made a highly efficient criminal. This is the chance of my lifetime in that direction.”
I hate to be that person (I don’t) but ‘room’ in singular. Also I like how Watson is literally confessing to all the readers in the canon for robbery. Mr ‘oh I can’t discuss that case because it’s too sensitive soz guys’ goes into extreme detail about how they would rob the house, with Sherlock being very thorough and prepared.
Anyway, I’ve already made a post about Sherlock and Watson literally holding hands as they break into a house, as you do, but for shits and giggles I’ll just write them out again.
‘He seized my hand in the darkness.‘
‘Still holding my hand in one of his.’
‘“I don’t like it,” he whispered, putting his lips to my very ear.’
‘I felt Holmes’s hand steal into mine.‘
(They’re in a greenhouse for some of these quotes, and I’m not entirely sure on this, but I think I remember seeing that greenhouses can be a metaphor for homosexuality? Sorry if I’m wrong, I might just be making this up.)
As I’ve said, they watch Milverton be blasted to hell by the original girl boss, as I will now be referring to her, and they escape. Sherlock jumps over a garden wall, naturally, and Watson tries to follow but someone catches his leg so he kicks them.
The next day, Sherlock and Watson casually have breakfast like the married couple they are, and Lestrade visits. This is the gist of the scene:
Lestrade: We need your help, someone’s been murdered.
Sherlock: oH mY gOd ReAlLy? oH nO!
Lestrage: Yeah, Charles Augustus Milverton. We already know one of the murderers though [describes Watson]
Sherlock: HA HA HA IT COULD BE WATSON LOL okay it’s not, jokes ha ha- I’m not helping, I don’t like Milverton, I feel sorry for the criminals, not him.
Sherlock at the end of the story pretending he gives a shit:

Hello darling!
Honestly confessing your feelings/not knowing how to do it if at all is such an uncomfortable situation and so painful sometimes. Wednesday could torture me and I'd prefer it to confessing. (Please abduct me Wednesday)
Wednesday not threatening you as much as others equals her practically saying "I like you, we are friends".
Lol I love that Wednesdays first thought to everything is murder. Lowkey same, people cam be so annoying 🙄
Oooh R isn't scared by Wednesday and even kinda enjoys torture facts. Two psychopaths have found each other!
A poem is a genius idea to confess to Wednesday. She's a great writer so if she doesn't appreciate it, nothing will ever impress her.
"After the 27th trashed page" are we talking about R here or was that you trying to come up with the poem? 😜
OMG A PUPPY!!! WE GOT A GOLDIE PUPPY!!! This is the best story ever! Well after the Thing pranks of course. But a puppy!
Yess we dognapped the puppy. That's exactly what I would do. Well done R! Wednesday will be thrilled 😂
Yoko, I love you girlie but let R take the puppy home in peace.
"I'm pregnant" BITCH WTF?? THATS THE BEST YOU COULD COME UP WITH?? Holy shit that was funny and just so stupid. At first I was gasping at my phone and then laughing. I love slightly dumb characters.
A beautiful and poetic name. Let's hear it! ...Choklit. I... I'm speechless. If R thinks THAT is poetic and beautiful then maybe writing poems isn't the correct thing to do...
Who the hell is Edgar?? Poe poe poe... (Eurovision Song Contest reference. My impulse control is also non existed. Sorry to all Americans who don't get this amazing reference)
WEEMS THANK YOU TALL SEXY LADY
Personal failure as a poet. How come when you come up with such poetic names like Choklit??
OH NO CHOKLIT IS GONNA RUN INTO WEDNESDAY WITH THAT POEM ISNT HE
Lol more exercise. I feel called out again... My small dog can outrun me too.
Ha, I knew it! LOL The werewolf line!! That was savage and utterly hilarious!!! Even Wednesday thinks so.
Choklit is the best wingman ever!
...a few lines above I said I like a slightly dumb character. That's me. Hi. I didn't understand a word Wednesday was saying about the poem. Wtf is a masculine or feminine rhyme?? I really know nothing about poetry...
Wednesday said yes!!! The poem was a success 🙌
For Wednesday I would also use the hell out of Google to impress her. Well done!!
hello!
i have no experience confessing to a crush but that shit seems so stressful 😭😭 (“please abduct me wednesday” is killing me btw) but a poem seems like a terrible way to do it idk. maybe that’s just cause i can’t write one well LMAO. and yes!!! a goldie! one of the three breeds i know of<3
the way “i’m pregnant” was just the first thing i thought of while writing SJSHSJ. i meant to change it but i guess it’s a good thing i didn’t 🙏 and yeah choklit is….a name!!! lol. the eurovision song reference was everything btw. that song was a Bop.
pls i had to read so many article and explanations about all those poetry terms (besides alliteration) because my stupid ass was just not comprehending it…poetry is so much more complex than i thought it was, respect to the poetry girlies bc i’m never touching this stuff again 😭🤚
thank you for reading‼️ your reactions are everything<333

How do you think grandma and grandpa morgan will react if cammie, one day, decided to visit the ranch with zach and introduce him? Can I request for a drabble on that? Thanks!
The thing about family and boyfriends is that sometimes your family wants to meet your boyfriend. And sometimes you don’t know if you can even convince your boyfriend to come with you next summer. And sometimes the probability of that happening is 99.9%.
Cammie has no issue with Zach coming with her to meet her grandma and grandpa Morgan. But this is all new territory for her. The only person that’s ever been with her for a trip like this was Bex. (And that’s only because Liz ended up having an allergic reaction to her sunscreen in the 7th grade and couldn’t come!)
So spending summer vacation with Zach in Nebraska was interesting to say the least.
From the minute they got off the plane, it was go go go. Grandpa Morgan showed up with his f-250 like he always did, complete with his sun hat atop his head and the windows down because as he says “you can’t beat Nebraskan heat,” (which is actually true in the summer time!)
Grandpa Morgan insisted that Zach sit up front with him, much to Cammie’s protest because the front seat was hers. Instead, she sat in the back after Zach put their bags in the bed of the truck.
The whole hour and a half ride to the farm was nothing short of an adventure. From Zach telling Grandpa what little he could about the way he grew up to the much abridged story of how the two of met. Grandpa listened the entire time, nodding and laughing the whole way to the farm. Eventually, he made his way down the gravel road and turned into the drive at the base of the farmland.
Zach hopped out the minute the truck stopped, opened my door, and then ran around to grab our bags from the bed. (He was definitely earning brownie points in Grandpa Morgan’s book from the looks of it!)
Cam follows the two of them inside to find Grandma Morgan standing at the stove with her “Kiss the Cook” apron on, the one that Matt got her years ago. Every time that mom brought up buying a new one, Grandma Morgan would brush it off saying that the one she had was perfectly capable of keeping her clothes clean as she cooked.
“Oooh Cammie Cammie oxen-free!” Grandma Morgan exclaims. “Come give this old lady a hug!” She says, holding her arms open for her. Cammie moves across the kitchen floor and hugs her grandma. “I’ve missed you, Cam-Cam,” she says.
Cammie laughs. “I’ve missed you too, grandma Morgan,” she says, only pulling away when Grandma Morgan does.
“And who’s this handsome fella?” Grandma Morgan asks, wiping her hands on her apron.
Zach steps forward, setting the bags next to the kitchen table for the time being. “I’m Zach, it’s nice to meet you, Mrs. Morgan,” Zach says politely. If Rachel could have seen the way that Grandma’s face lit up, she would have laughed.
After Zach took the bags to the room they’d be staying in, Grandpa had him join him on the back deck. It was nice seeing how quickly they accepted the fact that Zach was with Cammie. And part of Cammie wanted to know what the two of them were talking about outside. But she didn’t want to interrupt them. So instead, she stayed inside helping grandma Morgan with the dishes.
“Is Zach a vegetarian or anything, Cammie darling?” Grandma Morgan asks.
“No, ma’am. He’ll eat pretty much anything,” Cammie says, putting soap on the sponge.
Grandma Morgan launches into a tale about the first time Matt brought Rachel to the ranch, making Cammie smile. She focuses on the dishes, scrubbing food off of the plates that her grandparents had used that morning. The light from afternoon fades into dusk and Cammie looks out the window to see Grandpa Morgan leading Zach across the deck. The two of them are engaged in deep conversation from the looks of it. Zach is laughing and Grandpa Morgan is using his hands to tell a story. The scene makes Cam’s heart swell.
“Time for dinner, boys,” Grandma Morgan calls from the window and Zach follows Grandpa Morgan inside. Cammie finishes with the dishes that Grandma Morgan used and sits down with everyone at the table.
Grandma Morgan had made homemade Mac and Cheese from scratch, mashed potatoes with gravy, biscuits, and of course, Chicken-Fried Steak. Cammie’s mouth was watering at the smell. Zach helps fix everyone’s plates, handing them back to their owners, before making himself a plate. Grandma Morgan thanks him profusely.
They fill the silence by talking, telling stories about Matt and Cammie when she was younger. They talk about what it was like growing up and what the summers with Cammie consisted of. They talk and they talk, reminiscing about summer’s past. They ask Zach loads of questions, wanting to get to know him better. The laughter around home-made dishes was better than Zach could have managed. This was Cammie’s life. This was how she grew up and he was so thankful to be a part of it.
They stay up talking until nine-thirty when Grandma Morgan tells them that it’s time for bed. Cammie and Zach offer to clean up after dinner and Grandma Morgan thanks them profusely. Grandpa Morgan gives Cammie a hug and thanks her for cleaning up before following his wife to bed.
Cammie clears the table, putting what’s left of dinner into Tupperware and placing them in the refrigerator. Zach gets to work on the dishes, rolling his sleeves up. Cammie pushes in the chairs before making her way back to the kitchen. She hops up on the counter beside Zach and watches him.
The sun has long since set and the Nebraskan heat is finally mixing into a cool breeze. So Cammie opens the window and the smell of summer comes in waves.
This is what it meant and felt like to be safe. Cammie can’t help but think about how this is what it’s supposed to be like. This is what summer was supposed to be. This is what it was like to take your boyfriend to meet your grandparents. She wasn’t running anymore. And she had Zach to thank for that.
The two of them stay quiet and once Zach is finished, he pulls her down from the counter and into his arms. He spins her around and she tries to quiet her laughs. He pulls her close and dips her in the middle of her grandparents kitchen.
“Thanks for inviting me, Cammie Cammie Oxen-free,” Zach teases and Cammie blushes. Yes, actual blushing occurred.
Cammie rolls her eyes though before saying, “of course.”
And then they end the night back in their room, cuddled beneath the covers, safe in each others embrace. The night is coming to a close and they can only imagine what tomorrow brings.
But for the night, it’s just them. And that’s how it’s supposed to be.
