Excerpt

Crowley had begrudgingly agreed to add a bike rack to the Bentley, which is how he found himself on a bike path looking out over the undulating hills of the Cotswolds.

“Isn’t it beautiful, Crowley?” The angel’s eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Crowley grumbled in response. The demon could not look less as if he were about to ride a bike if he tried. He refused to change out of his tight black jeans, and he now feared that they weren’t exactly designed for the motion of a bicycle. Images of his crotch ripping came into focus.

Worse, Aziraphale had changed into the tightest shorts he had ever seen. Not only that, but they were cream-coloured. Leaving very little to the imagination. Aziraphale was definitely making the Effort then, Crowley mused, as he notified the distinct bulge on the shorts. He tried not to stare open-mouthed at the lycra clinging to the angel’s thighs.

“First off, safety.” Aziraphale thankfully shook him from the thoughts swimming around in his head. “You have got to be kidding, angel.”

“Safety is of the utmost importance,” Aziraphale said.

“But my hair,” Crowley ran a hand through his perfectly styled red locks.

“You can miracle it back when we’re done.” Without waiting for an answer, Aziraphale slammed the helmet onto Crowley’s head and pulled his fingers underneath to strap it under his chin. The feeling of the angel’s fingers caressing the underside of his face startled Crowley. He wondered briefly what it would be like to feel those fingers stroke a very different region.

Wonderful Things That May or May Not Be Wonderful!!! Riding a bike is relatively easy once you get the hang of it though for some, that is very, very difficult especially for the littlest of our population. However, we still want the young ones to enjoy the thrills of bicycling. Get a taste of what they could be experiencing without the propensity for skinned knees. The solution: the tricycle. It's what it says on the tin, a cycle with tri-I mean, three wheels. One in front turned by the handle bars, two in the back parallel from each other creating a pedal powered vehicle of maximum stability. A well oiled sometimes plastic and sometimes metal machine. I'd also like to call attention to training wheels which turn any bicycle into a more stable quadricycle. All the benefits of a tricycle without having to buy an entirely new device. Plus, the user can get used to how a bike feels before you literally take the training wheels off and open up the real deal. In short, the tricycle and training wheels allow those less experienced to enjoy a time honored activity alongside those more experienced without compromising the enjoyment of either party. Sounds truly wonderful to me.
