Driving down to Florida for spring break and you know you’re on the highway when there’s signs for “Hell is a real place” mixed with “adult superstore” and “pecans”

Now that it is officially road-trip season, I thought I would share one of my beloved car games, it is simply called the cow game. (Has anyone else heard of this?!)
The Rules:
1) if you see cows the first person to shout “my cows” gets a cow (each field/grouping of cows counts as one cow or counting gets too complicated)
2) if you see a church, you can “marry” your cows and then you double them. Again whoever yells first gets to double their cows
3) if you see a cemetery you can kill half of one other players cows, you get to choose which other player
4) if you see a bank you can put your cows in savings. They cannot be killed, kidnapped, doubled, etc. and you cannot take them out of savings but you will always have them
5) if you see an unmarked white van you can kidnap half of another players cows, they are now your cows
6) if you see a billboard for a lawyer or a law firm you can sue to get your cows back if they were kidnapped.
This probably only works in the US though. I’m still trying to decide if we should add another rule for the fundamentalist Christian billboards. Would the cows be sent to hell?

I’d Much Rather Drive
New blog post! We're all outside, but some of us are getting out differently, and that's okay, lol.
Think about the last time you took a flight. How was the flight? Did you have problems at the ticket counter? How was it going through TSA? Who did you book with? How was the flight?
At this age, the thought of travel gives off “I’d much rather drive” vibes. And you can keep your comments about adding miles to my car. I believe in driving a car until the wheels fall off or until the engine goes…
