Death Grips - Hacker: nothing super unique to say about it other than that it's genuinely just one of the best songs. like probably ever. we know this

Limp Bizkit - Clunk: smiles. it's me. clunk is nowhere near my favorite song on three dollar bill y'all but it's like. the best of the bad songs. it never could have been a single bc it doesn't have the strength and the hook is wimpy as fuck but i have fun with it :) i like the part where fred says clunk a bunch of times and i like the breakdown :) come closer i am normal about this album

Ada Rook - TRU U (Live at ELECTROPUNKz 2023): ah, rook's performance at electropunkz. another thing that i am normal about. i believe i've professed my love for the album this song is from before, so i'll save that ramble, but i had a lot of fun with the live ep here. and tru u is such a fucking banger i love every second of it, from the silly anime sample at the beginning to the little pause in the last chorus where the word "death" intrudes. i've said before: ada rook makes the music that i wish i made. this remains true

Danny Burstein & Jessica Hecht - Do You Love Me?: i've had Theatre on the Brain for the past week or so, which led me to listen to the soundtrack to a show that my high school did (although i didn't work on that show myself, i knew people who did). fiddler on the roof is a good show imo, and while i don't really feel qualified to talk about some of the more complex subject matter of a lot of the play, this song is relatively accessible and also drives me a little crazy. i just can't get over the careful, straight-faced profession of love between two characters who never considered before that their marriage might be anything more than a practical and social necessity. it's a tribute to the fact that sometimes love is unglamorous, sometimes it's really as bland as spending all your time with someone just because they're there and while that might not be the fairy tale we all like to imagine, it doesn't make the love worthless. tevye and golde SAY that it doesn't change a thing, but i don't think we're meant to believe them. it doesn't change their often grim material lives and daily realities, true, but i like to think that knowing there's love between them will make the rest of their days just that tiny bit sweeter. i'm so normal about this

Nirvana - Pennyroyal Tea (Live on MTV Unplugged): links to this post. it's just so crazy to me. we had five or so years of kurt cobain screeching the most agonized poetry the music industry has ever seen, cutting through the bullshit of shiny happy pop music and voicing the blood and death and sickness of an entire generation, and now they're just remembered as that one old band who did the song you hear people playing at guitar center. i command of you. actually really listen to this band, take the time to go through some deep cuts, listen to the weird little eps and bonus tracks and shit. there's so much to uncover. this song came on shuffle at one point and i just was floored by it all once again, so it's here as representative of the sentiment

Cab Calloway - St. James' Infirmary: i've been obsessed with an old betty boop cartoon that features this song, which i put in the youtube playlist. you might have seen a clip from it making some rounds on tumblr, but the full thing is worth a watch. cab calloway was known for his flamboyant performances, but all that energy takes on kind of a dark, unsettling tone when placed in the context of the moderately-fucked-up cartoon. good stuff

Billy Joel - Movin' Out (Anthony's Song): i've never been much of a billy joel fan but i've felt the need to explore more of his stuff after getting into this one. it came on the radio in the car and i was on an easygoing road so i got the chance to really LISTEN to it, y'know. like i've probably heard it in passing a million times, and my dad and i would always make fun of the "heart atTACK ACK ACK ACK ACK" part, but when i really listened to it... it's a damn good song! got that earnest, heart-aching singer-songwriter realness. who knew!

Skee-Lo - I Wish: TWO new todd videos since the last WILT, so you know that shit is making an appearance. i genuinely really love this song, i think it's so fun and creative with an *amazing* sample, i kinda wish skee-lo had gotten a little better than he did. you should follow my nu metal tournament blog, because i'm gonna put a bunch of other non-nu metal polls up when the bracket's done, and skee-lo is gonna make an appearance. i need more skee-lo warriors, basically. that rabbit in a hat thing is bullshit though

Caravan - The Dog, The Dog, He's At It Again: this is a find from charlotte charlottan's "Intro to Prog" playlist that i immediately fell in love with. it's so floaty and lovely, while managing to both gesture towards a wide variety of themes AND be catchy as all hell. it's good song, basically. i know nothing about caravan so that's basically it, but it's even got dog in the title :V

Parkway Drive - Boneyards (Live): it doesn't technically count as a repeat bc this is the live version!!!! i just love this shit so much. relistening to horizons after having not heard it for so long was such a breath of fresh air (this was like 3 months ago and i'm still talking about it lmao). i love the big stupid breakdown so much, boneyards has nearly permanently entered my rotation of songs to imagine myself performing. i also just love to imagine like. picture going to some punk or metal festival around the time horizons came out, and parkway is there, and your buddy is like yooo come on we GOTTA see these guys they fuckin kill live. and you're maybe not really familiar with them but you figure it's worth checking out. and they play this song and you're like damn yeah this is pretty good. and then the fucking breakdown happens!!!!!! i feel like you'd just be standing there and realize wow. i'm going to die in this pit. and that's really the feeling i'm pining for

Scatman John - Scatman's World: now some of you in the crowd may be familiar with our friend the scatman.... i've personally had my eyes opened to a whole slew of scatman hits that i never even knew about thanks to the enthusiasm of local scatman expert violet gec (hi violet!!!!!) and although this particular track is one i already knew of, i expect a lot of you might not know it. go ahead and take a step into scatman's world, baby! it's a beautiful place! and also the song will get stuck in your head despite your inability to mimic the sounds he makes!

underscores - Count of three (You can eat $#@!): i'm a pretty casual underscores fan, i just know songs here and there, but i do really like what i hear. count of three is SUCH an earworm, and i love a good "fuck you" song when it's done correctly. i also just appreciate the quality of the censoring job in the title. it's not perfect but there's effort... a lot of people just pick four random characters but here, $ obviously looks like S, # is similar to H, and so on. these are the kinds of things i think about

Bring Me The Horizon - AmEN!: continuing to ask the question of "what the hell are these guys doing ever and why does it sound good." first of all, we have to address the lil uzi feature. that makes... two? i think it's just two fuckin international pop stars that bmth have collaborated with. i mean, i know uzi is a rapper but considering rap's dominance in the pop sphere and their sheer popularity, i think i'm justified in calling a pop rapper a pop star. it's been said to death, but it's just crazy that these guys have become one of the biggest rock acts around considering where they started. as for the song itself, it's not like... my favorite? but it's cool, it's catchy. i don't find their lyrics nearly as impactful now as i did when 1. i was younger and 2. they wrote about suicide and nihilism and shit all the time. i guess the themes are still dark but it all just kinda washes over me now. i'm just here for the heavy heavy and the big chorus, and that's what i got. so i'm happy :)

Everclear - I Will Buy You A New LIfe: as you may have seen, i had a big sappy emotional moment for a few days at the end of last month, and that had me returning to my roots. post-grunge. a genre with no shortage of lame pop rock relationship tunes, including this one. i even made a playlist of sappy songs, of which this was one. i just like the idea of pledging all these expensive things to someone you love, but doing it as kind of a joke. like the sentiment is real, but you both know that's never gonna happen, because all you really have to offer is yourself. and hopefully that's enough. it's like if two princes by the spin doctors was less fun. i fuck with it mildly

Third Eye Blind - Jumper: that's right folks. not one, but TWO mellow and corny 90s rock tunes. i have nothing to say about this song other than that it's pretty good and, more importantly, you should watch the most recent trainwreckords video (told you we'd get both todd videos in here). i've even conveniently included that very video in the youtube playlist :) DO IT

Kesha - Eat The Acid: i listened to and enjoyed the new kesha album, but this single was definitely the song that stuck in my mind above all the others. it just made such an impression. even in her current era, i don't think i or anyone else expecting... this. it's very psychedelic, and while it doesn't completely deviate from pop by any means, i think it's a pretty bold step for her and i hope it pays dividends. i would be 100% down for more strange experimental kesha, i wanna see where this goes

Tina Turner - What's Love Got to Do with It: tina turner is featured on two WILTS in a row... if only the circumstances weren't so unfortunate. as i'm sure i said last time, she was a fantastic vocalist, and her biggest hit here gave her the space to really holler. i thought it was fitting as well to put this song right next to eat the acid, as both are the returning singles of women finally casting themselves free (or at least attempting to) of the figures that tied them down and abused them in the music industry. What's Love might reek of the 80s, but it's the good 80s. and for the record, i went back and listened to the full album and found a lot to like about it. RIP to a legend, for real

Roxy Radclyffe - YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ME: another song whose presence is moreso indicative of a broader listening trend. i've been really interested in this artist's work recently, although i haven't had the opportunity to really dive headfirst in yet. i discovered her through a rym/bandcamp rabbit hole and was fascinated by the quanitity of projects she has running. i would recommend checking out her neocities and poking around, i've found some interesting stuff so far. definitely the kind of thing i think my crowd of oddballs on tumblr dot com could enjoy

Ben: tbh I think Ben's all kinds of messed up so here's a prominent one. Ben suffers a lot from chronic pain and fatigue so whenever he's not feeling well enough to fight he just pumps sugar into his veins. Smoothies are a favourable option most of the time but they don't work as well anymore so he goes to Monster/Red Bull/energy drinks in general for a stronger dose. When energy drinks aren't working for him anymore he switches to caffeine. Why isn't he dying or has at least exhausted all of himself in his 20s you may ask? Well he is and has and he's running on life support, the life support being the Omnitrix so he’s still somewhat functional. But the Omnitrix doesn’t render him Hercules so he’s almost always tired and hypersensitive at the same time, making him more prone to panic attacks or just hyperventilation. Azmuth ships him to Galvan Prime for checkups every once in a while.

Rook: Physically Rook's very healthy, sure his diet does change as he picks up some of Ben's eating habits but not a lot and he always keeps himself in check. I like to think when Rook was at his low at some point during his quarter-life crisis he had a breakdown, disconnected, locked his doors and starved for like a week or more until he fainted and the health tracker he himself installed alarmed Ben of his location. It never really had a significant long-term effect on his health tho. Not a disability but Rook definitely has scars all over, the small cuts are easily hidden under his fur but the bigger ones just can't go unnoticed, he’s kinda conscious about it in not-the-best way.

Gwen: Gwen would probably be the healthiest one out of the team. In my hc, Gwen locks herself in her human form with the rings (see this post) because she’s afraid of the calamity she can cause but she’s still essentially a condensed humanoid block of mana under her human dressing, what kind of physical disability can she not heal immediately fr. However, as soon as Gwen embraces the fact that she’s a physically untouchable vessel she becomes especially careless of her mortal body. Bleeding fingers are easily patched, broken bones are just as easily healed. She was careless to the point she doesn’t keep her human body fully human anymore and just bleeds mana if she was ever wounded (think Sayaka from Madoka Magica kind of carelessness and numbness lol). After a certain accident, she made the mana leaking out of her wounds look like blood tho (kinda came full circle). Another way to keep herself grounded.

Kevin: I’d say Kevin’s pretty physically healthy too considering how he’s an Osmosian. I’m running out of ideas so uh Kevin probably got one of his limbs cut off when he was unarmored and got a prosthetic in place (ofc he made the prosthetic himself). The prosthetic also has absorbent properties and a place to keep different materials/minerals so it’s kinda like a handy weapon for Kevin to be not too dependent on having to find something to absorb. The material is not an Osmosian tho so it takes much longer to fully transform itself into the loaded material (think of "that one time Kevin involuntarily got turned into taydenite" slow), the process can be sped up with electricity/idk some kind of sci-fi energy but Kevin would avoid that most of the time. That’s all I can get out of my system for now, feel free to let me know if u want me to do other characters too yk see what kind of misery i can bestow them 😈

23. My BROTP Ben x Kevin, which is kinda odd bc if I see their dynamic in any other show I would be begging them to kiss lol. I always see Ben and Kevin as brothers (anh em kết nghĩa in Vietnamese kinda) and want them to stay that way most of the time. But like I'm very easygoing with ships in general so I'm quite ok with everybody being best platonic pals and everybody being each other's lovers at the same time (not too comfortable with incest tho haha) so I don't have any problem with Bevin fan content.

This was one of the first episodes I had seen. Actually, it was the last one I’d seen before never watching castle again because we only had four episodes on our TV. Then we got the DVD set & FINALLY I got to see the second part. Yay for two-part episodes...

Spoilers for the next episode: Ok but even after watching this I don’t understand. He shot the gun, where did the bullet go? The gunshot is what told the fbi to go in, & he definitely did shoot the gun, but how would it work? Ben conrad had to have been dead on the ground & set up before Scott shot. Once scott fired, he ran & hid in the hidey hole & let the pigs find the body. Where did he shoot?

two-floor apartments are so weird to me. I once stayed in a penthouse mansion in japan four times as big as the floors below, but... it was the entire floor, not double-leveled.

Ok but this trigenerational household is so great!

No but listen. When you shoot a gun or loose an arrow, you usually use the hand that correlates to your dominant eye. I’m left-eye dominant (ish) but right-handed, I learned to shoot with my right hand, & I Really Really Suck. Ben Conrad might have been mixed handed in that way, writing with his left, shooting with his right. Except for them seeing him in the window that is.

How the dorm leaders react when they catch you kissing someone from their dorm [Part 2]

A/N: AND HERE IT IS! Oh my god I still can't believe I managed to get this done! I actually stayed on task! Honestly these three were probably my favourite from the original post, I've had far too much fun writing these bois.

And what can I say? Playfully flirty MC is a good MC u wu

Warnings: Heavy smooching, possessive talk, and the reader just really pushing the dorm leader's buttons~

“How dare you...?”

Vil was more than happy to be coming back to Pomefiore with all the stuff that had happened today. Classes were more annoying than usual, he had to chase Leona down to tell him to get his work done and there had been some problems in the modeling studio that caused the lights to be brighter than usual and now he had a headache that only a nap could fix.

Thing was, if he wanted to keep his schedule as tight as possible he would need to stay awake for...another 6 hours.

One good thing was waiting for him though. Rook had greeted him at the entrance and let him know that the Ramshackle prefect was in the dorm today as per his request.

Good.

This would keep him awake. He remembers promising you a lesson in proper skincare in order to remedy whatever you did once you woke up in the morning. Deep in the back of his head he remembers you telling him that you just splash cold water on your face but he preferred to think that you at least put some sort of moisturizer. Maybe.

He rushes to his room to freshen up and makes sure that he has the materials he needs. Vil had decided that his own brand of face cleansing products would be a good start for your skin. The tingles in his fingertips went ignored as he thought of you thinking about him in the morning. It wasn’t that sort of thing at all, he reminded himself. Dorm leaders were supposed to help each other out, despite how often they were at each other’s throats, and he was just fulfilling his role not just as a dorm leader but as a...friend.

Vil takes one last look at the mirror and makes his way down the row of rooms in Pomefiore to reach the Lounge, only to stop when he sees you being pulled into one of the many rooms by what was clearly a Pomefiore’s students hand.

Wait what?

It’s almost alarming how quickly he approaches the door and puts his foot in it, choosing to stay quiet as he sees that the two people in the room didn’t even bother to wonder why the door hadn’t closed all the way. The student was pressing kisses against your lips in small intervals, choosing instead to talk as you run your hands up the expensive purple robe and taking in the little designs.

“I had a new lip scrub I wanted you to try out.”

“Really? Then why aren’t we in the bathroom?"

“That’s rather forward for a dorm leader. Is everyone in Ramshackle this daring?”

Vil couldn’t even pinpoint the student’s name. That was your first offense. The only thing he remembers about him is the man’s caramel brown hair and how it contrasted beautifully against his dark skin. After that, nothing could pop into his head that would make that student even remotely interesting for you to be hanging off of him like that! Of all the people to be with, it just had to be a nameless potato, didn’t it?

The hairs at the back of his head stand up as the potato hands you what he believes to be the best lip scrub in the business, which only makes the alarms in Vil’s head go off even louder. That brand wasn’t even known for doing lip scrubs! In fact, they once put out a three in one shampoo/conditioner and the fact that the student even had that brand in the dorms and you just blatantly accepting it was your second offense.

And as much as he wanted to focus on that being the thing that truly bothered him, he felt the alarms deafening him as he saw the potato’s hands wrap around your waist as he kissed you again, your lips parting to let him inside.

He shouldn’t be looking at this, he should be leaving and just leave you to your own devices. The lesson wasn’t important, you weren’t that important to him--

Amethyst eyes widen when you tilt your head as the student starts kissing down your neck, already choosing one spot to make his own as he licks and nips at the skin while you dig your fingers into his robe.

Vil didn’t really know how to describe the sudden surge of energy that caused him to fling the door open and grab the student by the back of his robe and pull him backwards, eyes glaring at you the entire time as you whisper his name, as if suddenly remembering that you had a previous engagement before this whole ‘sticking your tongue down a Pomefiore student’s throat’’ business.

“Prefect. My room. Now.”

You put your hands up and walk out of the room without looking at him, Vil letting go of the student’s robes and walking out after you. He didn’t even need to tell him that he was in trouble, the student would realize it soon enough once Rook delivered the chores that needed to be done by tonight.

A list only that student would be getting instead of the entire dorm.

Vil closes the door of his room and turns the lock rather harshly, looking back at you sitting at the edge of his bed still staring at the window. You weren’t trying to defend yourself, you weren’t even looking at him.

“I hate to be kept waiting, Prefect. Not just that, it is extremely rude to keep someone waiting just so you can fraternize with someone in my dorm.”

No answer. He grabs his desk chair and sits down so he can face you directly.

“What made you go and pick that potato?”

“Why would that be any of your business Vil-senpai?”

It was very much his business, if you asked him. He would have been okay if it was Epel or even Rook that you had picked to make out with but he wasn’t just going to stand around and watch as one of the student’s whose name he didn’t even know threw all of his work out of the window! So he asked the question again, this time getting a chuckle as an answer which only served to upset him even more.

“Out of anyone in my dorm you could have picked, you had to go with someone who offers you such a low quality brand of lip scrub?”

“That is your problem with this? What he offered me? Me and him just started hanging out, we know nothing about each other! I just wanted to change that.”

His headache was coming back again.

Vil put hard work into everything he did. That was his work ethic and people be damned if they thought it was too much. Maybe they couldn’t handle it but they still respected it, respected his craft and the work he put into it.

So why do you, of all of his recent projects, disrespect him so blatantly?

It was clear you weren’t ready yet, Vil wasn’t done working with you yet. After doing something like this, and right inside his dorm, he knew that you had just taken all of the careful brushes and strokes he had decorated your canvas with…

And burnt it right in front of his eyes.

Which is why he didn’t necessarily feel any guilt when he grabbed your cheeks and pulled his own lipstick out of his back pocket, ignoring your protests.

“Quiet.”

He applies the shade quickly and before you have any chance to protest, pushes his lips against yours.

The kiss is anything but sweet. It’s almost punishing. Vil was reminding you that you were a work in progress. He still had so much left to teach you, so much left to work with you and if you kept rushing things you were going to make him mad. Once he was done with you, you could go about your pitiful little life and kiss whoever you wanted and he wouldn’t even bat an eyelash.

A hand grasps at his wrists as you press his palms on your cheeks, your tongue gently pressing against his lips so you could slip inside--

Nevermind. This sort of impatient kissing would also have to go.

He pulls away and pushes you onto the mattress, your eyes hazy with eagerness and confusion as Vil removes his jacket and gloves and leans down to trap you below him.

“Were you this greedy with him? Did he also get this treatment from you? No, don’t answer. I fear I’ll only get angrier if you do. Now be an obedient little potato and stay still, the first thing I’ll fix is that messy kissing of yours.”

“ :( “

Snacks runs had to be the most annoying and heart pounding of his usual daily life quests. If waking up was a struggle enough, especially when no special loot such as new anime or manga was available, it was hard to complete such basic tasks without some sort of incentive.

Although Idia guessed that not dying of starvation was enough of an incentive.

He walks down the corridor of his own dorm, humming a quiet tune to himself as he looks down at all the snacks he had acquired. Which, score! They even had a limited edition chip flavor that came with the card of one of his favourite idols! It took everything in his power to not just spend all of his money on more than one bag but he had such a good day today that he knew his gacha pull luck just had to be good.

The door to a room behind him opens, Idia quickly picking up his pace and hiding behind a corner as he looks at who it could be. He isn't against anyone in his dorm but...he didn't have the means to engage in any conversation that wasn't about his current FPS game or Gakemo so--

"Thank you for the help! I thought my phone was beyond repair!"

His hands tighten around the chips pressed tight to his chest, eyes wide in surprise as he sees you stepping out of the room.

Of all people...why were you here so late?

The student laughs as he scratches the back of his head, handing you back your phone and looking away.

“No--No problem! I...I honestly didn’t think you would come to me for help. I integrated the newest magical technology on it as well as voice activated features and a--a brand new messaging app that sends messages faster!”

Idia clicked his tongue as he heard the student speak. Look at him showing off. You didn’t know that he was taking advantage of your naive mind! You didn’t know anything about magic so, of course, all those features would sound fancy!

When it was literally taking your phone and just downloading some fancy new apps on it!

Yet there you were, marveling down at it as if you had just gotten the latest version.

Well maybe he shouldn’t complain too much, even from here he could see your smile. A part of him worried that all this luck he was suddenly getting would affect the luck he would get on his chip bag but...you were worth it.

Such a rare event shouldn’t be left unnoticed.

Maybe...maybe if he stayed here you could walk by and he could open up the ‘bumping into each other late at night’ event?

“So how can I repay you? Do you need anything done?”

Idia tunes back into the conversation as he frowns, looking back at the two of you as the student looks at every single corner of the ceiling instead of looking at you.

Payment? The guy had just downloaded a couple of apps that wasn’t good enough reason to offer some sort of payment. He frowns and taps his foot impatiently as the guy stutters out a few excuses before finally giving you an answer.

“A ki--A kiss? Would that be alright?”

The Ignihyde dorm leader almost falls down as he hears that, retreating further into his corner as he glared daggers at the guy who had just dared to ask for such a bold request.

A k--kis--kiss? A kiss...from you?

This guy was starting to piss him off! He should just be content staring at you! You were a SSR character all on your own! That guy should be happy he even got to talk to you at all and shouldn’t ask for more than he was given! He already rolled for such a life changing event why would he even want more!

His eyes soften when he sees you mull it over. It was okay, you could reject him. Such a guy wouldn’t even be worthy of a kiss from you so you so all you had to do was say no! Go on, [Y/N], just reject hi--

Idia can feel his heart breaking as his muscles stop working, dropping all of his stuff on the floor with a thud as the sound echoes. Yet it went ignored, the other two people in the hallway too busy with their own activities.

When...when had you even kissed him? Idia only remembers you putting your phone away and the moment he blinked you had already pressed your lips against that other guy--!

He should be leaving, why isn’t he moving?

The student’s hand goes to your waist as you deepen it, his face turning a deep shade of red as you pull away and tap his lips.

“Was that your first kiss?”

“...y--yes..”

You were smiling and giving him such a rare, almost ultimately rare item and Idia didn’t know how long he could stare until he combusted.

So all he could do was turn around…

And run as fast as he could.

He ignored the familiar voice calling out his name, footsteps quickly following him as he started to run out of breath.

Making a poor otaku like him run, even now you were still being so cruel to him!

Idia’s door slides open as he bursts inside, ready to bury himself in his bed and never come out again--!

Only to stop when he hears you hiss in pain.

Blue eyes turn around to see your foot jammed into his doorway, not allowing the electric door to slide closed. A part of him wants to immediately go to you and ask if you were alright but he stops himself as the image of your kiss flashes through his mind again.

“[Y/N]-shi! W--What--!”

You rub at your foot and sigh, walking in with a confused look as Idia presses his back against his bookshelf. He knew it. If a SSR character could be brought to real life, this is the sort of power they would have over him.

The kind of aura you were emitting was enough for him to want to get on his knees, but he chose to remain strong.

“I was calling out to you…didn’t you hear me?”

Idia turns his head and looks at the floor, the pain still raw and emotionally taxing than what he was used to. Disappointment was one thing but heartbreak was a complete other monster!

“Shouldn’t--Shouldn’t you be with your boyfriend?”

He spits the word out, annoyed that a guy from his dorm could unlock...no...could get someone like you. You were open to every single activity Idia gave you, you gave him good feedback and didn’t get scared when you two disagreed on something. Every manga he gave you, you read and every anime he told you to watch, you would watch it.

You were receptive, you were attentive, you were what Idia wanted in a real life friend!

He hadn’t dared hope for more!

That still didn’t mean he couldn’t fantasize when he was all by himself.

“Boyfriend…?”

You tilt your head in confusion before chuckling as you realized what had happened.

“Oh so you saw that.”

Is that all you were going to say?! You had just taken his heart and crushed it into tiny little pieces and you were just going to talk about what a pervert he was being!

Someone just KO him now, like right now!

“Yes...I saw. So what? You were just ki-kissi--doing that thing from everyone to see! So you should just go back to him instead of bullying me in my own room!”

Please just leave, he wanted to cry in peace.

Yet you stubbornly remain, just like the first time he met you.

“Idia I don’t know what crazy assumptions you are making but that guy isn’t my boyfriend.”

You put up one finger.

“He fixed my phone…”

Another one follows after.

“And he asked for a kiss for payment. Simple as that. You shouldn’t act like you caught us doing something major. It was just a kis---”

Large hands land on your shoulders as Idia now stands in front of you, head hung low as he mutters something to himself.

“Just a kiss….just a kiss.”

You jump as he gets close to your face, eyes staring at you pleadingly as he cupped your face.

“JUST A KISS? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE? AN EXTRA RARE CHARACTER SUCH AS YOURSELF SHOULDN’T BE GIVING OUT SUCH RARE ITEMS LIKE THAT!”

He shakes you back and forth.

“IF YOUR KISS WAS JUST NORMAL THEN EVEN I...I COULD--”

Idia’s eyes fall on your lips, the rush of adrenaline mixed in with his built up desire for you all culminating in two choices popping up in his head. And for the first time, he knew that hesitation was not an option.

So he dives in.

His lips met yours roughly, not really moving them or anything but just pressing them against you. You put your hands gently on his chest but he takes it as a protest, which only causes him to push them onto yours even more.

This was...disastrous.

He had never kissed anyone before. How in the world did he think that he would be able to kiss you? Ah, maybe this was a dream? Right! He had just dreamed all of this up and you didn’t really force your way into his room to confront him!

His hair flares up when you cup his face, pushing him away slightly and tilting him in such a way that your lips would meet in a much softer fashion. He looks down and sees you closing your eyes, following in your footsteps and melting inside your kiss.

You both pull away slowly, Idia opening his eyes and blushing when he sees you licking your lips and sending him a teasing grin.

A rare sight...made only for him.

“I feel like I just spent all my stamina on this one event...so I don’t want to go unrewarded. Can we go further? I want to go further. What option do I have to pick for you to do that again, [Y/N]?”

“Don’t touch them.”

“YOUNG MASTER! WHERE ARE YOU!”

Malleus sighs as he looks on at the Diasmonia students gathered around the outskirts of the school, smiling as he sees Sebek directing them each and every way. Sebek really didn’t give up, did he? One of his classes had been canceled and he was eager to see the gargoyles around Ramshackle in a much better light but he figured Sebek would cause up a stir when he didn’t find him in his classroom.

As much as he appreciated him, Sebek didn’t have to walk him to every single class.

He sighs and goes deeper into the woods behind Ramshackle, the small broken path there leading him down a familiar terrain.

This is where he usually walked with you, after all.

Seeing this place in bright light was so very different. Instead of it being illuminated by his lights, the sun peeked out from over the trees and provided a sunny trail instead of the usual moonlight. He took a deep breath as he breathed in the smell of flowers all around, all of them growing wildly around him and defying any human to try and tame them.

His fingers trace some of the thorns he found on some of them, the flowers attracted to his touch and moving closer to his hands as a small vine wrapped around his finger.

All with his magic’s help after all.

This was his safe space. Malleus would come here during his first and second year and lose himself in the wilderness. In here no one would fear him. Here every single thing was responsive to his touches and even dared to touch back. Some of the wild rose bushes also reminded him of him, Malleus adding a bit more thorns around the flowers as in to emulate the very home he missed.

In this lonely place, he flourished.

But it wasn’t so lonely now, was it?

His third year had brought one big surprise. A human. A child of man who did not know who he was or what he was capable of. They looked at him as if he was just any other stranger roaming around their dorm and not the next ruler of the Valley of Thorns.

And Malleus, being the very curious person he is, found himself pulled to your inattentiveness.

He had dropped many hints that he was eager to get to know you more, relishing in the fact that you two were starting to get closer. And while he had hoped to keep his identity a secret a bit longer, he found it almost unbearable for you to not know who he was.

If you were so open with who you were, then he should show you the same kind of respect.

How wonderful that you were now on a first name basis with each other.

Malleus could walk over to Ramshackle dorm now and knock on your door without hesitation, smiling as he sees your excitement at just what places you two would discover in the dead of night.

Bummer you couldn’t be with him now.

He had seen you come out of your dorm and ask Sebek if he needed any help, to which the fae replied rather rudely that no human could ever track down his young master, so he was a bit reluctant to discover any more places without you by his side.

These walks were something you two did together, after all.

So he remained at this spot, touching everything and anything that would strike his fancy while going deeper and deeper into a small clearing you two had found. A large tree decorated its middle, the leaves falling gently upon the ground as the sun shone down on the large pond that provided this part of the forest with the water it needed to balance out the sun’s gentle rays.

“Shhhh, don’t make too much noise.”

Malleus stops as he hears your voice, his head immediately turning towards the sound as he hears rustling behind him. He smiles and turns to where he thought you were coming from only to be struck by a sudden idea--and immediately hiding among the trees and bushes so you couldn’t see him.

Would you be surprised to find him here?

He hoped so. Malleus had the habit of appearing to you suddenly so this wouldn’t be breaking any traditions between you two. If he played his cards right, you might join him on a walk all the way to the edge of the island.

“Prefect do you know where you are going?”

“I do! I’ve been here so many times. Now come on!”

Another person’s voice. No...he had heard that voice before.

Malleus retreats back into his hiding spot as he sees you rush by, holding by the hand a Diasmonia student as he rushes to follow you. You smile and turn around, still holding his hand while the other looked on in amazement at where you had led him.

“Prefect...this is…”

“Like it? Me and Malleus found it a while ago. This is how we know we are close to the edge of the forest.”

The Diasmonia dorm leader smiles as he watches you show the student around, pointing out different sights and sounds as the other watched on in amazement. That student probably had never gone anywhere this secret and while Malleus was glad you were showing off the place you two shared…

There was a feeling deep inside his chest that flared up angrily as he caught the student looking at you more than his surroundings.

Green eyes watch as the student’s hand clenches and unclenches, seemingly working up the courage to do something as you continue speaking. Which was rather rude, in Malleus’s opinion. You were explaining some wonderful things about the flora here and he was just staring at you without engaging in the conversation.

And how did you two know each other? Malleus had never mentioned you in Diasmonia except to Silver and Lilia, had he known you before him?

Malleus hands grip the tree bark tighter as the student takes your hand, stopping your explanation as he gets you to focus your attention on him.

What--?

“I’ve been eager to find some time alone with you.”

The student clears his throat before pulling you by the hand gently, your surprised look turning into one of playfulness as you follow along with his movements. He leads you to the edge of the pond, spinning you around as you allow him to position you in such a way that you are now closer to him than before.

Which only makes the angry feeling in Malleus’s gut flare up even more.

“Have you now? What for?”

An answer Malleus wanted to know as well.

Blushing, the student smiles and leads you into a dance with no music which only served to make you laugh and make Malleus’s fingers dig deep into the wood of the poor tree.

In the dragon fae’s eyes, you two are dancing for hours without caring about who was around. Why had he even brought you here? This student was part of Sebek’s surveillance crew and yet here he was not doing his job. But he wasn’t the one who brought you here…

You were.

Your actions were lost on Malleus as the dance finishes up, the student dipping you low before bringing you up.

“So you brought me here to dance? Who knew Diasmonia students were so charming.”

Malleus didn’t like the way you were smiling, nor how your hands rested on the student’s shoulders. He hadn’t seen this side of you before, you were playing along with this student and his motives.

Had you always been so playful? Malleus had only seen you during the night and whenever you two spoke it was a conversation worthy of two friends sharing experiences together.

But not this...never this…

“Well, not just a dance. I’ve wanted to state my intentions outright.”

The tree starts to crack slowly as Malleus can feel more thorns growing out of the rose bushes around him.

“Ever since you arrived, you have been an enigma to me. You are always so helpful even to those who do not seek your aid. Even now, you didn’t have to help me search for our Young Master."

He wasn’t searching for anyone, he was too close to you for Malleus’s liking and he needed to learn how to respect your boundaries.

“Yet you still offered me your help...and I…I want to...”

The student was leaning closer as his hands slid down to your waist, Malleus staring as you started to tilt your head as you placed your hands on his chest while his lips were dead set on meeting yours--!

Your face is tilted up as cold lips meet yours, your mouth opening in a surprised gasp as the hold the student had on you was no longer shy and timid but angry and possessive. These lips were pulling you in closer and closer, greedily eating each and every sound you were making as the air was slowly stolen from your lungs.

A string of saliva is left hanging as you two separate, your eyes fluttering open as you think of something to say to such a ravishing kiss.

Only for them to open wide in surprise as you see who you had really kissed.

“Malleus!?”

You turn to look behind the fae’s back, the Diasmonia student looking at his Young Master in mild panic and surprise while Malleus presses you close against his chest, clearly hiding you from view.

Right before the student even had a chance to taste your lips, Malleus had rushed out of his hiding place and pulled him away by the collar of his shirt.

For a dragon to watch on as something that was his was so close to be taken away, the surprise must have gotten to him.

“Go tell Sebek to head back to Diasmonia and call off his search. I will be there by nightfall.”

The student tries to stutter out a response but Malleus glares back as he keeps you pressed firmly against him.

“Now.”

You watch the student leave in a hurry, following the broken path you had led him in with. Your eyes peek up to look at Malleus but the dorm leader waits until the sound of footsteps is long gone before tilting your face up again and leaning down to press his lips against yours in another rough and dominating kiss.

Hands push you forward as your back collides with the huge tree in the clearing, Malleus making sure that the back of your head meets the bark gently as his lips never parted from yours. You wrap your arms around him as best as you could and let out an involuntary squeak when the fae decides to pick you up so that you could pull him in even closer.

He is the one to pull away first, hands firmly on your bottom as you wrap your legs around his waist to support yourself.

“Malleus--”

The fae presses another kiss to your lips, effectively silencing you so that all your attention would be on him.

“Don’t ever bring someone else into this place, child of man. Do I make myself clear? This place is our haven and I will not have someone else come steal both it and you away from me. Well, even if you don’t understand, I’ll make sure to explain it to you thoroughly. Now...kiss me again.”

I and Brew @twisted-n-thirsty talked about this months ago and this post just made me resurface this. Enjoy the crack!

Setting: Malleus finally decides to pay more attention how his classmates interact and he asks help from Lilia. Lilia starts teaching Malleus slangs that are used among his classmates but he can't stop his mischievous side. Lilia tells Malleus that "Send nudes!" means "How are you? What are you doing now?" Malleus takes this as a note. He just wants to share his newfound slang phrase so he decides to use it. Malleus sends "sends nudes everyone!" to prefect's group chat that has MC in it too.

Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle doesn't know slang nor does he care about learning them.

He isn't the first person to see Malleus' message as he is busy with his prefect duties.

When Riddle sees his message, he asks what he had meant in the group chat since Vil's response seemed like a casual message from him. He regrets saying that in the group after the responses he gets.

Riddle is beyond angry and he just wants to wash his eyes after seeing the responses. He swears he will never ask what a slang phrase means. He doesn't check out his phone for the rest of the day.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona was sleeping when Malleus sent that message. When he wakes up, he thinks of ignoring it since it is from the lizard but then he sees the content of the message from his notifications as a smirk forms on his face.

Leona gets back to his room as quickly as possible and strips of his clothes and takes his nude photos. Normally he could have chosen one from his photo gallery but he wanted to get the best picture.

He sees Riddle's message "What does send nudes mean?" and he thinks it is the perfect opportunity to send his pictures.

Leona doesn't respond to Riddle instead he @ mentions Malleus and says "Pass this" as he sends his nudes.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul is aware of the slang humans use. He is caught off guard when Malleus of all people writes "send nudes" in their prefect group chat.

Of course, Azul isn't going to send his naked pictures in his human form. He learned about human culture to know that those types of pictures are reserved for certain people.

He has been there from the beginning but he stays silent and he just observes what is happening in the chat. After Leona sends his nude images, he wonders if Malleus will send back. He wouldn't use it against Malleus if he decides to send nudes because he isn't stupid enough to get in a legal battle with a crown prince and blackmail one of the most powerful mages in Twisted Wonderland.

Azul is going to use this incident to his advantage. He will offer Malleus to teach him modern slang and where to use them so he would befriend Malleus.

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim loves putting a smile on people's faces so when Malleus sent that message, he thought if he sends his nudes, Malleus will be happy. So he decides to take his nude pictures.

"Sorry Malleus :/:'( I wasn't sure how to take my nudes so I asked Jamil to take my nude photos but he almost choked on air before refusing me" "Now he is giving me angry look" "Now he said I am not allowed to send you guys such pictures and he will confiscate my phone if I ever ask him that" "Don't worry Malleus. I'll learn how to take my nudes on my own and send you them as soon as Jamil leaves me alone"

Kalim knows these types of photos getting leaked would lead to issues as a future business owner but since it is just between friends, it is fine.

Vil Schönheit

As an actor and model, Vil needs to be accessible to his manager all the time and vice versa. He is the first one to see and read Malleus' message and he is irked by it.

As a celebrity, he knows how having nude pictures on his phone might turn out so he doesn't have nor will he ever have his nudes on his phone. He also thinks it is quite improper to do so.

Vil thinks of scolding Malleus but first, he will send him the only nude that matters - his nude makeup collection. "This is the only valid nude"

When Vil sees Leona sending his nudes to the group, he just snaps. Vil takes Rook with him to scold Leona after he says "No one else will send their naked pictures here!" in the group chat. He thinks will get grey hair and wrinkles because of how Leona and the others behave. He should also talk with Kalim about proper behaviour.

Idia Shroud

Idia was in the middle of an online game so he wouldn't possibly stop and check out Malleus' message. Even if it weren't an online game, he wouldn't stop.

When the round ends, he checks out what other prefects are talking about in their group chat since he got lots of notifications from it.

Idia doesn't know how to react at first. The Malleus Draconia asked his fellow prefects and (Y/N) to send their nudes. He replies to that message with "LMFAO" then he proceeds to read the rest. He is crackling as he reads Riddle asking what Malleus meant, Vil sending his nude makeup collection, Kalim apologizing for not being able to take his nudes and finally Leona sending his actual nudes. "LOL" he writes before Vil gets angry at Leona for sending those pictures and Idia for laughing at what is happening. At least Idia didn't send any!

Idia would normally give a savage response but he doesn't want to be at the receiving end of Vil's lectures so he just enjoys reading the chaos unfold.

Malleus Draconia

Malleus just wanted to ask how they are doing using the slang phrase his classmates do. He doesn't understand what is happening in the prefect group chat.

He thinks Rosehearts is as clueless as him and him knowing that slang despite Rosehearts not knowing makes me feel better at first. Then for some reason, Schönheit sends a picture of his makeup, followed by Asim apologizing. He thinks they were supposed to say how they are doing and ask him "send nudes" back.

Then Kingscholar sends his own picture wearing nothing and saying "pass this". He certainly didn't need to see Kingscholar's private parts. He then realizes something else is going on and tells Lilia what happened. Lilia says he made a joke and he didn't think Malleus would write it.

Malleus wasn't impressed with his joke until he receives a private message from (Y/N), saying "you should have asked it privately, I'd have sent them anyway" with their naked pictures. After seeing them, Malleus no longer sulks and thinks he should prepare marriage certificate since he has seen (Y/N)'s intimate parts and enjoyed it.

Little bit about me physically:

I have an industrial on my left ear and most of the time a silver skull hoops in my first lobes and skull studs in my seconds, I also have my helix pierced on my right ear which is also silver. I've got a silver septum which i have to flip up around familt because they told me i couksnt have it so i did it anyway lol. My hair is currently down to my chin (it needs cutting) and my roots are atrocious.

ok gamers kind of a ramble but here we go its my opinion so its inherently correct bc im super cool

i see a lot of posts about how like “ben shouldve been more upset over things that happened !! this kids traumatized let him show it !!” and ok while i see your guys point i feel like a lot of yall forget that 1) ben is either 10 or a teenage boy(dependin on what ur referencin) and 2) all the bits of show were made in the 00s and early 10s(disregarding the reboot). So like.. idk what to tell you guys mens mental health was and honestly still is a more or less ‘taboo’ subject. also ben DOES show signs of bein upset about things just not in the way you guys want i guess ?? and the thing is like,, ben doesnt outright talk about his issues ? in the episode about feedback when rook asked him about it he refused to answer and later on was like,, angry about rook finding out? i havent seen that episode in a hot minute so excuse me if im bullshitting anyways ben literally just never came to terms with that stuff ? honestly if the events of that episode didnt happen i doubt his feelings regardin feedback(which was like idk u kno self blame n all dat or smth) wouldve ever been somethin they went over which is like !! dude its so obvious from then on at least how ben deals with his issues; he doesnt ! he just keeps everything in that evil little box called ur brain to ignore and sometimes cry urself to sleep over which i mean me too bestie ! /j also aside from that i see people say he shouldve been more hung up about kevin n gwen leavin but he was upset??? shown in how he was kinda pissy about rook bein there and idk i feel like him bein all “well cant go to mr smoothy :/” was a pretty good indicator that he was havin a not very great time right then. also idk if u wanted him to be sad about that for like forever u might have ur own issues to work thru bc i dont think thats like... healthy /hj

“EXCUSE ME?!” two screams echoed throughout the halls of two separate dorms. students in each respective dormitory jumped and stopped whatever they were doing. scene one took place in the pomefiore dormitory. rook hunt bursted into the room as vil was admiring himself in the mirror before screaming, “EPEL AND (Y/N) ARE DATING!” vil’s eyes widened as he felt the mirror before him crack. both the pomefiore dorm leader and his vice were beyond shocked. “EPEL?! DATING THAT SAVANACLAW GIRL?!” he shrieked, voice echoing down the halls. vil felt like he could’ve fainted due to shock. this was not expected. not at all.

“EPEL FELMIER!” he banged the door to epel’s room. this caused epel to wrongly carve the apple he held in his hand and caused his masterpiece to be ruined. “what do you want?” he scowled. vil tapped his foot on the floor whilst crossing his arms as rook stood behind him. “someone told me that you’re dating (y/n) (l/n) from savanaclaw.” epel rolled his eyes and turned around to make his back face vil. “yeah, so what?” vil furrowed his eyebrows but chuckled in a slightly scary manner. “so what? so what?! excuse me, she’s from savanaclaw.” epel rolled his eyes once more, while he desperately tried to just blocked out all the words coming from vil’s mouth. “they are dirty, rough, agressive...and not fit for someone like us here.” rook really wanted to break the awkward tension in the air, but that didn’t seem to work as epel already retorted vil’s comments. “well i don’t really care about that. besides what’s wrong with being a bit like savanaclaw sometimes.” vil’s jaw dropped and he felt like fainting. rook was now just wondering how he can get this whole situation to stop.

meanwhile scene two took place in the savanaclaw dormitory.

leona lounged around on his bed whilst ruggie cleaned up the mess leona called his room. “there’s nothing interesting going on nowadays huh?” ruggie sighed. “let’s keep it that way.” not even a second after that sentence exited leona’s mouth, jack walked inside the room. “hey senpai, is it true that (y/n) and that pomefiore boy dating? what was his name..?....epel?” leona and ruggie laughed and brushed it off at first. however it seemed as if their brains processed the information coming from jack at the same time. “...EXCUSE ME?!” leona shouted. “WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” ruggie followed. jack was baffled to see the two on their feet and jumping from leona’s balcony. “WHERE’S (Y/N)?!” the two started running around from left to right, trying to find their precious kouhai. meanwhile jack was still in leona’s room, staring at them with confusion. he thought that they were like overprotective parents protecting their only daughter. it was slightly entertaining so he didn’t really mind. “(Y/N)!!!” you basically fell off from your bed as leona and ruggie kicked your door down. “oh my god! what?!” you screamed back after you groaned in pain from falling from your bed. “YOU’RE DATING THAT EPEL BOY FROM POMEFIORE?!”

“ya..?” leona facepalmed while ruggie pretended to sob. “there is no way you’re dating someone from pomefiore.” leona shot at you. “with all due respect senpai, there’s no rule here that says i can’t date someone else from a different dorm.” leona sighed and sat beside you on your bed. “true. no rules. but as your dorm leader, i forbid you to date him.” you squinted your eyes, starting to get annoyed. “but why?” leona rolled his eyes. “he’s a pomefiore. pomefiore means big trouble.” you were now beyond pissed. leona didn’t like pomefiore, probably because he didn’t like vil. “this is because of prefect vil right?” you growled. “jeez how dense are you, (y/n)? they’re all so proper, well-dressed. all they talk about is make-up, hair, bla bla bla.” ruggie sighed as he watched you two bicker. “i don’t really think that matters, senpai. besides epel is not like the other pomefiore boys, and he’s...well...different.” you talked while smiling. leona saw your expression while talking. “besides...all that matters is that...i love him.” oh you were in love. deeply in love. “it’s true that he’s from the prissy pomefiore, but well...as long as she’s happy. right leona-san?”

ruggie grinned from ear to ear. he didn’t agree either that you’re dating someone from pomefiore, but well, being the stubborn, hot-headed tiger (literally) you were, ruggie couldn’t do anything to stop you. ruggie patted your head. “well, let’s just hope everything works out now.” leona shot a dirty look at ruggie. he didn’t approve of this, but again, what could he do? “just make sure you don’t do anything stupid, got it?” leona snapped. you giggled. giggled? your action made the two of them exchange confused looks with one another. “okay mom. okay dad.” they both froze. but really that whole scene did remind you of how a father would be so overprotective of his daughter and not really support whoever his daughter dates, and the mother would be there to just try and support you. “what?!” they both screamed. “leona-senpai’s my dad. ruggie-senpai’s my mom.” you snickered. “ME?! A MOTHER?! AND WITH HIM?! BULLSHIT.” the two continued to argue with one another, while you just sat there chuckling. you glanced at the clock hanging on your wall and saw the time. 4 pm.

it was the time you were supposed to meet him. with them arguing, you sneaked out of your own room and made a run for it to go meet epel at the school courtyards. “(y/n)!” he beamed once he saw you walking towards the bench he was sitting on. “hi!” you cheered and plopped down beside you. you two continued to talk about different things. from your day, classes, and other things. however he brought up a topic which was quite interesting. “vil-senpai and rook-senpai knows about us.” you brushed it off. “it’s fine i guess. leona-senpai and ruggie-senpai knows about us too.” epel reached down and grabbed your hand. “is it...alright though?” you chuckled. “of course. so what if we’re from different dorms? so what if the dorm leaders hate each other. at least we’re happy, right?” you smiled. epel reciprocated that smile. “hm i guess so!” you stood up enthusiastically, ears twitching and tail slightly swaying from left to right. “besides, we’re like forbidden lovers! like a typical story ya know!”

epel laughed once he saw how happy you were. he found this adorable. yes of course, like a typical fairytale was the right word to describe your relationship. one from a prim and proper ‘family’ (one can say) and the other from one who has a tougher and more aggressive connotation around their name. you and epel were just playing around in the courtyard, the only sounds heard was your laughter. you two were just happy to be there with each other, despite what youre respective dorm leaders had to say.

“ne, epel. do you think we’re a perfect match?”

“of course! it’s like an opposite attracts kind of situation.”

“no matter how different we are, i think we’re actually really similar. don’t you think?”

“of course. we both love each other after all, and that’s all that matters.”
