I think Blake and Nora's love languages are both Personal Time, so most of their romantic gestures are reading/sleeping on the couch together, date nights, cheesy movie nights, and talking about random things (books, politics, boys). Blake has worn Nora's "boop" pj-shirt on at least one occasion.

They share a surprising amount of similarities in their childhood, having traveled around a lot and camped out (Blake's when she was a part of the White Fang), and sharing/relating to those stories is comforting, even if the circumstances were kinda fucked up.

Nora has no frame of reference for how to act around her friend's parents, so I think she would not feel any shame around Kali and Ghira. Though, they might need to remind her to use an inside voice.

I also think that Blake would lend a helpful ear to Nora's depression and crisis of self-worth, having been in a similar place before. Blake's own experiences and how she got out of them would give Nora comfort and hope.

Why don’t you ship it? - I dislike both of them as characters. Like, genuinely. Before Blake and Nora became such assholes to their supposed love interests, I was already iffy about the way Nora praises the SDC in Vol 4 even though being friends with Blake should have informed her about the slave practices that company participate in (but to be fair, none of them gave a fuck tbh). And I doubt Blake even during the Beacon Era would even have the patience and calmness that Ren has to balance out Nora. Just the wrong type of moon to Nora's sun you know?

What would have made you like it? - This is gonna be a theme for a lot of these asks, but LET THEM INTERACT MORE. I want to see Blake actually talking to someone outside of her team and Sun, and I want to see Nora actually be emotionally intelligent like the writers are saying she is. Let her be there for Blake and have Blake support her or some shit. Just. Let. Them. Talk.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? - I'm really sorry, but I do not have a proper answer to this. The worst thing about Nora is that she cannot be a separate entity from Ren until it's too late, and Blake is just...ugh. But if anything, I like the tall introvert gf x short extrovert gf dynamic that they can have.
