So companies took government money for job creation, kept it for personal profits, then lied that "no one wants to work"? WOW. Sounds about right for the great USA. #ghostjobs
From a friend: "They are literally posting jobs that they are never going to fill so that the government thinks they are looking for people. So basically during Covid the government gave tons of money to companies to “hire” people but they did the opposite ! They kept the money post the jobs and never contact the applicants. Meanwhile it’s hundreds of people applying for 1 job with applications just sitting in their system and the companies are telling the government that “no one wants to work “ and they keep the money. That’s why you see for hire signs everywhere but people will always tell you that they can’t find work. I know because I work for the state and veteran affairs so my job is to help people find jobs and that’s what’s been going on since 2020. #McDonald’s is one of those companies. They pocketed millions while having tons of applications sitting in their systems but they are sitting on the money and post fake jobs online that they never fill and for hire signs. So some people started catching on but there was an article about ghost jobs. Basically jobs that are being posted but don’t actually exist."
🩵🤍Here's some more kawaii baby blue outfits as this color is just so my favorite right now as I have about three or four different baby blue outfits now as well as accessories! I plan on getting a lot more to add to the collection even though purple is my favorite color haha💜
😋 I had a whole aisle to myself (with the exception of 3 people) while I was taking these pictures and sure enough, I really enjoyed the entire time I had to do that~ You could just see how much fun I had while taking these 😆 Plus, I will be showing off more of the jacket in the next weekend set 💙
Do you guys ever just like forget to drink water? It's 6:43pm right now and I just drank my first glass of water, I didn't even realize I hadn't drank anything today until I was in the middle of a sam's club.
When I worked for Target, I was pulled into the managers office and told that I had two weeks to improve my performance or else I would be written up.
So, for two weeks, I busted my ass. Everything they said that I was doing wrong, I fixed, took that criticism to heart. Complete 180
At the end of those two weeks, I was pulled into the office again and was told that I had not improved and was written up.
Turned out that manager (who never left her office all day, btw) didn't check with anyone, didn't ask any of the supervisors, didn't even try to see if I had improved, didn't do her job, just assumed I hadn’t.
After I was done rage crying, I walked into her office, told her "I quit", did not give a two week notice (which bars me from ever working for Target again, fuckin fine by me), finished my shift and left.
Target is the worst. It's just an expensive Walmart. I also worked for Sam's Club at one point, so I have first-hand experience of how much that company is shit. Gotta love when the married night time manager is fucking all of the cashier supervisors, and the front end manager will find a reason to fire someone because she thinks they're prettier than she is, or management as a whole doesn't like who that person is friends with and will find a reason to fire them.
I start work on Thursday and had a hard time learning on the ulearn at the Walmart computer training, I need someone to help coach me over phone, no video chat and to help go through the learn from the walmart app that I have, I can take screenshots and send em to you to if you need, I have a learning disability and need the extra help before I go and not know a dang thing of what I'm doing. I really really want help studying this beacuse it would help me be less scared for when I go in. I have my ticket to work beacuse I'm trying to get out there and I got this job. Is anyone willing to give me that helping hand? I'm 26 and a female. I live in California so I abide by the laws here which idk how much it really matters what state other then I can't clock in and out using my phone until I get a work phone in 2 weeks.
