Coffee Shots (Clint x Loki x Tony)

‘Come here often, gorgeous?’

Clint grins, grabs an empty coffee cup, and turns to face his favourite customer. ‘Every day, open til close. As you know.’

The man in the sharp suit gives him an appreciative full-body glance. ‘Lucky me.’

‘Are you gonna buy something, or you just here to admire the décor? I got a line here.’ He glances meaningfully at the stony-faced, burly men waiting patiently nearby. A lot of these guys keep coming in today, for some reason.

Tony glances at the menu on the wall. In the three weeks Clint has been working here, he’s never ordered the same drink twice. ‘You know what? Surprise me. I’m feeling dangerous today.’ He pays, and Clint whips him up a matcha latte. He’s getting good at those.

As he bends down for the matcha powder, Clint checks that his gun is still taped under the counter.

‘Thanks again, Agent Caffeine,’ Tony says, accepting the cup. ‘Don’t quit your job. I’d have nowhere else to go.’ He winks, then weaves between the crowded tables to take a seat in the corner.

Not much is known about the one they call Iron Man. Intel suggests that he was born into a rich family but turned to a life of crime, hacking millions from bad corporations and using the funds for good – and for advanced personal weaponry. Tony has the swagger, certainly. Clint wonders if he’s aware of the danger in coming here every day, having a regular routine, a favourite table. It’s almost like he’s looking for a fight…

The way I devoured Stetsons and Schoolteachers instead of sleeping last night. I love your omega Clint and Tony dynamic! And I absolutely adore how sweet on Tony all of the alphas are on Tony, especially Steve. All in all, divine story!

Stetsons and Schoolteachers is amazing. I love that story so much. And YES Omega!Ironhawk is EXCELLENT. ClintTony was actually my very first Marvel ship, I KNEW there was something very good there and honestly their dynamic as Omegas is just top top tier. I love them in every verse.

Also, I love?! The general consensus of every Alpha being smitten of all the Omegas? I've had a couple comments about how all my Omegaverse stories read like Poly pairings because the Omegas are very into non sexual (or also sexual!) platonic intimacy and the Alphas are all sort of very much into every OMega with the way they spoil and tease and kiss them. I feel like it's obvious within the verses that they aren't technically "poly" but also... I personally would want to kiss all of those particular characters, so.... lolol

I had a dream last night that you wrote an ironhawk fic where their kid got kidnapped. I don't even ship ironhawk.

“Twenty million dollars,” Clint said and wiped his face. Tony turned off the computer and licked his lips. 

“I’ll call Pepper,” he said. “She can get me the money in…” 

“No,” Clint said and looked up. 

“What do you mean, no?” Tony blurted. “They have Peter and they are going to hurt him if we don’t pay.” 

“No, we’re not paying,” Clint said, his voice cold and calm. 

“Do you want to call the cops?” Tony asked. He had started to pace the living room. 

“No,” Clint said again. He rose, too, went to Tony and stopped him. “These fuckers have our son and we’re going to get him back ourselves.”

“But we…” Tony started and Clint put a hand on his cheek. 

“I know we’re retired but you can’t tell me you don’t have an Iron Man suit anymore. And I still have my bow and arrows. We were Avengers and we’re going to get Peter back!” 

Tony looked at him for a long moment, then nodded. 

“FRIDAY,” he said without breaking eye contact. “The email we just got, can you trace it back to the sender?” 

“They are good, sir,” the AI said. “But you know I’m better.”

“Let’s suit up,” Clint said and Tony nodded. 

“They will bitterly regret ever having laid hands on our son,” he said. 

Six minutes later they were ready, stood in the doorway of their apartment in New York and looked at each other. 

“I have the location,” FRIDAY said. “I sent the coordinates to your suit, sir.” 

“Good girl,” Clint smiled. “Ready?” 

“Better clench up, Legolas,” Tony grinned, grabbed Clint around his waist and started. 

They landed on a roof in a pretty decrepit area of New Jersey.

“That’s it?” Clint asked from their vantage point and glared incredulously at the old house in front of them. 

“According to FRIDAY, it is,” Tony said. Clint frowned and nodded. 

“Give me a sec, I’ll check that,” he said and sneaked away. Tony let him. After all, there was a reason why he was called ‘Hawkeye’: 

And only five minutes later he could hear him over the comms.

“Confirmed,” he said. “I can see him. And four kidnappers.” 

“Only four of them?” Tony asked disbelievingly. They had to know who Peter’s parents were. 

“With him are four guys and I can’t see anyone outside,” Clint said. “This should be quick.” 

“All right,” Tony said. “Can you cover him from where you are?” 

“Of course,” Clint said and Tony started to grin in his helmet. 

“Then let’s get our boy back,” he said and jumped off of the roof. 

It took them forty-six seconds and one of Clint’s arrows and all the kidnappers were neutralized. Three of them were unconscious and one of them bled onto the ground and whined loudly while his arms were bound onto his back. FRIDAY had called the police and Clint just hugged the boy he had untied. 

“I knew you two would come,” the boy breathed relieved. “I told them it was a mistake to kidnap me. They didn’t believe me.” 

“You were very brave,” Tony said, opened his suit, stepped out of it and hugged both of them, his son and his husband. 

“Just like you,” Peter smiled and Clint kissed his cheek. “And you,” Peter said and looked at Clint. “I love you two.” 

“And we love you,” Clint said. 

“I need a doctor,” the kidnapper cried behind them and all three of them turned around.

“Shut up!”

Yes, absolutely. That said, it can occasionally take me months to do so, especially on my older works, because I leave them in my inbox and hoard them like a dragon because they make me so happy.

I really should write more angst, tbh... that said, the only fic I currently have that can really be called angsty and ends without a happy ending is Worse Than Myth.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I would say Eidetic Image has a happy ending, if you don't count the teaser/cliffhanger that is the epilogue. Otherwise probably Change is All?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I've been writing fanfiction in some form for 20+ years and posting for nearly as long, so I've definitely gotten a few hate comments over the years, but nothing on any of my recent stuff. In part because I'm not that known, probably.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes, and it really depends on the muse.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I don't really write any crazy crossovers, although technically, most of my Marvel fics are a fusion of various Marvel sources (MCU, 616, etc.) and I've also got a crossover between SG-1 and Atlantis, but they're really the same fandom families and don't really count as real crossovers, imo.

Not to my knowledge and it's my hope that I never do.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I had several translated under my previous penname, but none of my recent stuff; I've divorced myself from the fandom in question.

Under a previous penname, yes.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

Asking a shipper's favorite ship is cruel and unusual, but it's probably almost definitely IronHawk or Stuckony. Also Spirk. I also really love the Lovesquare in all its permutations.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I don't have an WIPs currently being posted for this very reason. So many ideas. With my motivation and butterfly brain, I'll never finish them all.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'm pretty great with dialogue and emotive scenes, I think? I'm not sure--please let me know!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Not actually writing even though I really want to. I also struggle with action scenes, but everyone says they always come out fine, so I'm not sure.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Oh. Oh, this is a bad question to ask me.

Listen, if the readers are supposed to understand what's being said, then freaking write it in the same language as the rest of fic and italicize to indicate it's in a different language. If I have to go hunting for a goddamn translation, or scroll back and forth to the mf-ing notes, when I'm supposed to know what's being said, odds are very high that I'm going to simply stop reading a fic. It's bad writing. Yes, I said it. It's bad writing--it's your job as a writer to make sure a reader can understand what they need to without making them jump through hoops. If your "aesthetic" matters more to you than making your narrative readily accessible to your readers, you need to rethink having another language being spoken. That said, if readers aren't supposed to understand what is said (or it's obvious/doesn't matter in the case of, like, spells or something), or you work the translation into the story right away, I'm all for it. Those are the only times I find it acceptable to actually have another language that's spoken written in a language different from the rest of the narrative.

I'm really rather proud of Eidetic Image despite its numerous and varied flaws, as well as The Seeds of Great Enterprises. I also really had a lot of fun writing my Miraculous BFF-swap story Crushes and Antics.

okay, this is a long time overdue I guess, but I finally feel like I need a pin post. about me, this blog, my ships and all these jazz 

I came here from a space similar to a livejournal. so this blog is just a blog about whatever. if I feel like posting my old drawings, I will be posting my old drawings. or some whining about irl. or about a movie I just watched.

quite obvious english is not my first language and if i’m making little sense or some stupid mistakes it must be because of it.

that's also the reason why I am usually so slow with replies. it’s scary to communicate in my first language and even scarier in english. I am bad at communication altogether if I’m honest. but I'm trying to do my best though (on AO3 too).      

I do not let go of a fandom I once loved. I just can’t even when I want to.

I’m open for requests right now. BUT it is a slow and may take me literal YEARS.

I’m always back and forth.

I’m very attached to the voice of a character. I don't like dubbing. no matter how good it’s done. I want to hear original voices. if I watch anime it’s always with subs. I usually fall for the characters with unusual or distinctive voices or intonations or speech patterns. 

and don’t get me started on singing! I'll never shut up! I LOVED ALL MUSICAL EPISODES I’D EVER SAW! ALL OF THEM!

I prefer to read low rated fics. I’m not that interested in sex scenes and high rating is almost always is about sex. so why bother and waste my time on something I'm not really interested in? I will read explicit and mature rated stories from the writers I love. because I have been reading them for years and I know I love their writing. though I most likely skip pwp. 

I can’t read d/s. even when it’s just undertones. freaks me out. just… not my thing. I tried several times.
