A couple of random female characters I drew on some meeting notes lately. I wanted to show the contrast in hair textures and the facial expressions. The upper one could be an "extra" in my Escaflowne story with her sharp nose and ethnic head jewellery, and the other is in the genre of 1970's shojo characters like the ones drawn by Riyoko Ikeda and Chiho Saitou. I like sketching character design ideas for future use, you never know when you might need the design in the future!
