Not sure if we're considering the Shrek novelizations canon, but the idea of fairy godmother marrying Merlin for his spells lives in my head rent free. You can infer so much from this piece of text; I have like eighteen theories 😭

Also I have been on this Shrek kick for a long time now and I have no clue when it's going to end. Idk when my page became a Shrek one but this is my life somehow. I JUST LOVE THESE MOVIES OK AND THERE’S SO MANY CHARACTERS I WANT TO DRAW!!!!

Since I’m a normal person and this idea would not leave my head, I spend the whole afternoon making a Shrek’s world map with all the places we see in the full Shrek’s franchise (including Puss in Boots spinoffs)

It's obviously derivative from our world. I tried to make it make sense between what the places look like in the movies and the travelling the characters seems to be doing between each places.

The places Shrek goes to looks like western europe/USA inspired, while Puss in Boots movies and series looks like a mix between Spain, south of US, and Mexico, so I tried to blend all the inspirations.

Feel free to comment of stuff that doesn’t make sense or I might have missed.

Buckle up people!

I whole heartedly want Crowley to get written out of the book of life just so that Aziraphale can have his moment of devastation.

Crowley has already experienced loosing Aziraphale when he had the bookshop fire, then in s2 they equally lost each other, but in s3 it needs to be just Aziraphale.

My hypothetical is that the two of them just about figure out what's about to happen, so they both try to find one another. And cinematically as they're running (or flying) towards one another Crowley slowly starts to glow and disappear bit by bit.

And then something like this happens:

Obviously they will get their happy ending where Crowley comes back. But if this happened it would be the ultimate hurt/comfort ending.

I don't play that game but im so stoked to see new shrek art ESPECIALLY NEW RENDERS FOR ARTIE AND MERLIN!! AND CHARMING'S THERE TOO. Puss has his old look and Shrek looks kinda off but other than that I LOVE IT!

It's so odd seeing charming stand next to Artie as if nothing happened 💀 But it's nice to see Artie referenced again, even tho i dislike shrek 3. And merlin seems to have a good time on the piano XD

Do you think that Prince Charming is an artificial human created by Fairy Godmother magically? Or that Godmother is a divorced ex-Queen and so, Charming does have an estranged father somewhere?

Alright, Anon, hear me out with this one. I’m breaking out the Shrek the Third novelization.

So when Shrek and Co meet Merlin for the first time and try to convince him to get them back to Far Far Away, he gives them this as a response to why he doesn’t do magic anymore.

Listen, if we’re on the same page here, it’s HEAVILY implied that Fairy Godmother and Merlin were once in a relationship, got married, and she took Merlin’s preexisting spells in the divorce, which is how I believe she built her potion empire but that is not today’s topic of discussion.

Personally, I think (and have discussed with another Tumblr friend) that Charming came from one of these stolen spells, or was a joint project FGM and Merlin worked on together that when stolen, ended up resulting in Merlin’s breakdown.

With how dependent Charming is/was on FGM, I definitely think that she was his only parental throughout his whole life, and it feels plausible that he’s a magic creation so FGM could have a way to access the crown, therefore creating the perfect Prince Charming figure for the kingdom’s princess.

Merithur is a crossover ship I might have mentioned under my collage of MeriArthur (Merida x Prince Arthur of Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs) and Merilocks (Merida x Goldilocks of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish). With how rare the ship between Merida x Arthur "Artie" Pendragon is, I thought that I would remind people of it through one of my collages. Like I have done for a few other rarepairs that people might have forgotten or never knew about. Even though Once Upon a Time Merida meets its version of Arthur Pendragon, him killing her father and being a villain doesn't have that many people shipping those version of them together. I think that's why they paired her with Shrek's version of King Arthur, and young Arthur from BBC Merlin does look a bit like a live-action version of Artie; just as Disney's classic take on Arthur "Wart" Pendragon could pass for his animated counterpart. That's why I added BBC Arthur to the collage beside OUAT Merida, so people can remember that Artie isn't the only Arthur that Merida could be placed beside.
