Newest Signing
Part 1 - Fire on Fire Series A/N: This is the first part of my new Leah Series, I have already started writing and planing parts of it but if you have any ideas let me know and I will try and include them.
Tumblr media
Leah sat on her phone scrolling through various social media platforms, it hurt to see so many other people happy, with their partners when she wasn't, she had never had a successful relationship, to her no one was right, no one was the right match, she didn't feel like they clicked. So many of her exes told her that she had 'too high standards' or that 'soulmates don't exist' or something along the lines of 'you aren't perfect so why do you expect someone else to be perfect'. However she wasn't looking for a soulmate, she wasn't looking for someone perfect, she was just looking for the someone who was perfect for her.
She had started to think that maybe she was just asking for too much, and that her standards were too high, but that was until the day Jonas introduced the team to Arsenal's newest signing.
"Girls this is Y/N Y/L/N, she is our newest signing, and yes she did sign outside of the transfer window as approved by the FA due to issues at her old club, but no further questions on that please. She isn't going to be fully joining training until our Portugal training camp, just so she has some time to settle in but also a well deserved break, but you will see her in the gym and around the place, so please make her feel welcome. I think she is going to be really great for the team."
Her eye's immediately connected with the brunettes, she was tall and muscular, her face held the dreamiest blue eyes, and her smile was perfect, she continued watching the girl as she hugged Stina, the way her hair flowed, her body flowed, it was safe to say Leah was mesmerised.
"Stop staring, you creep" McCabe whispered in Leah's ear, causing her to break from her trance, giving the Irish women a playful smack on the shoulder. "I'm going to the gym," she said as she stood up and headed out, everyone around her making eyes at each other.
_____
You walked into the locker room behind Jonas and as he introduced you to the team, a certain blonde's eyes connected with yours, you couldn't help but notice the small smile her lips created when she saw you, but you quickly diverted your gaze to your best friend. Walking up to her and hugging her.
"I'm glad they let you sign out of the transfer window," Stina said, sounding relieved as she released the hug, "yeah I was worried they wouldn't but once I explained to the FA what was happening they were horrified and told me they would reach out to whatever club I wanted to, within reason, and see if they would sign me. Apparently there are going to be investigations."
"Good, they shouldn't be doing that. But where are you staying? You can crash at mine until you find a place if you need."
"Thank you, but I'm all good, Moster and Tante said I could stay with them, as they are in Paris for the next however long, however it was more a non-negotiable, I think they also meant I was going to be staying when they came back, again non-negotiable, but I'll see."
You and Stina continued talking until it was time for the girls to go to their meeting. You had an appointment with one of the physios just so they could check your range of motion and get some base lines in case you were to injure yourself before your first fitness testing session. As you walked into the gym, you saw a certain blonde in the corner, working away at some exercises which must've been set for her. As you worked with the physio completing the activities and exercises he wanted you to do you couldn't help but notice the way the blonde kept glancing over to you, almost as if she wanted to talk to you.
_____
You sat down at a table with Stina and Frida, Caitlin joined you and wanted to catch up with you and also trying to help you integrate with the team more easily, Caitlin's presence meant that Katie and then consequently Beth sat with you too. You knew the Aussies already due to having spent most of your childhood and your very early twenties in Australia, due to your Tante's work.
"Steph," you called out as you saw the very flustered Aussie walk into the dinning hall, she turned her head around to you, just about every emotion passing through her face.
"Y/N?" she questioned as she walked towards you, "what are you doing here?"
"Well if you weren't late you would've been here when Jonas said I was transferring here," you weren't normally one to say anything about your teammates being late, especially new teammates, however you are Steph had been teammates a long time ago, making your senior team debut for Melbourne Victory exactly a year after she made hers, and she also had a mark on her neck, so you were waiting to see how bad her excuse was.
"Sorry yeah I slept in, Calvin was up barking most of the night. It's so nice to see you again though," she explained as she pulled you in for a hug.
"That mark of your neck would indicate otherwise," you whispered in her ear, she just groaned knowing everyone would've already seen it.
You spend the rest of the lunch talking to mainly Steph or Stina and Frida but occasionally others would make some small talk with you.
After lunch you said your goodbyes to the team, and started to make your way out, when you heard someone call out your name, you turned around to see Leah moving towards you. "Would you like to join me and some of the team for dinner tonight? We are just going to a local pub," she questioned.
"Umm," you filled the air as you hesitated not sure what the goal of her invitation was, "if you don't want to, that's totally okay, I mean you're probably busy anyway," she quickly spat out trying to backtrack.
"Oh no, I would love to, it's just that I don't currently have a car," you told her as you fiddled with the ring on your finger.
"Oh, I can drive you if you want, you can just message me your address later," you nodded and mumbled a quiet thanks before you both went your separate ways.
____
You were just about to put your shoes one when you received a message.
From Leah: I'm just out the front in the car, no rush though. I know I'm early.
To Leah: Hey, all good, I'm actually just putting my shoes on now, I'll be out in a second.
You're pretty sure Leah's eyes widened as you walked out of the house and to her car. You opened the door of her car and saw her eyes run over your body before she said "You look nice," "Oh, thank you, it's nothing," you blushed slightly climbing into the passenger seat, but in truth it was nothing. You had a pair of light blue skinny jeans on, with a cropped country road rugby jumper on. You also have a black puffer vest in case you needed it but you placed that on the floor as you got in.
"You look nice too," you said as an afterthought, almost regretting it instantly, it probably wouldn't been better to say nothing at all than say that.
"Thanks," she smiled at you softly before she began to drive.
---
It was safe to say by the end of the night you hadn't once regretted your decision to come, all the girls there were super nice and it was a really great way to get to know them all, outside of soccer.
"Um, we're about to head home and we just thought to offer to take you home, since, um," Beth gestured over to where Leah was a the bar, you couldn't help but feel a small wave of warmth travel through your body at the fact that the team already seemed to care about you.
"Oh um, yes please that would be great," you followed Beth and Viv to their car, making small talk with them on the way home, when the car pulled up outside your home you didn't miss the look the couple sent each other, you quickly hopped out and thanked the two women profusely, before walking up the stairs of your home and collapsing onto your couch, noticing a message from Stina.
From Stina: Hey, I hope the night out with the girls went well. What would you say to a movie night at yours tomorrow night? In the theatre?
To Stina: Hey yeah it went well, Beth and Viv took me home, will explain why tomorrow night at movie night in the lounge room, you can invite Frida if you want too.
From Stina: Okay. I'll be over around 5. From Stina: Wait, why the lounge room?
To Stina: See you then, I'll make pasta.

“You don’t have to go back home all the time, you know that right?” Jeongin groaned as Y/n cleaned up his living room from the pizza orders
“I don’t wanna invade your space more than I have been,” Y/n said
“You’re not. I’m the one who invited you over,” Jeongin told her
“In,” Y/n whined as he stopped her from cleaning
“Do you work tomorrow?” He asked as he sat her next to him on the couch again
     “No,” Y/n sighed
“Stay the night.”     “M’kay,” Y/n agreed, “Let me finish cleaning though.”
“No, sit,” Jeongin stood and cleaned for her. Y/n giggled at him and checked her email while she waited for him to finish.
“What’s with the face?” Jeongin asked as he sat back next to her.
“Email from my building management,” Y/n told him.
     “Everything okay?”
“Yeah, just a reminder my lease is up in a few months and I need to renew it soon.”
“Is he still on your lease?”
“No. I talked to the management about him the last time I had to renew. He never paid his half anyways.”
     “You gonna renew?”
“I don’t know if I’m going to be able to afford to stay there anymore when the baby comes. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to find a place and move in before the baby gets here. I could move in with Hana again but I still have to talk to her about it.”
“You don’t have to agree, but you could move in here. Make it easier when the baby gets here and not moving him back and forth constantly.”
     “In…” Y/n looked at him
“I’m just trying to think ahead. You don’t have to, but I’m putting the option out there.”
“I’ll take it into consideration,” Y/n told him as she closed her phone, setting it on the coffee table.
The two sat back on the couch, continuing to watch the drama that Jeongin had put on when they were eating dinner. Y/n had adjusted herself to be more comfortable a couple of times before Jeongin suggested moving them to the bedroom so she could lie down comfortably.
The two moved and Jeongin set her up comfortably on the bed under the covers and put on the show for them on the bedroom TV. Y/n rested her head on his shoulder as she kept her eyes on the TV. Slowly, the two somehow shifted closer. His arm wrapped around her while she rested on his chest. Getting interrupted by his phone as she was falling asleep, “Sorry,” Jeongin apologized
Jeongin grabbed his phone and left the room to take the call. Y/n laid back and continued watching the show. Jeongin came back a few minutes later and got back into bed with her again. “Who called?” Y/n asked
“My mom. Asked how the appointment went. Says congratulations on us having a boy,” he clued her in
“Think she’ll help plan the baby shower?” Y/n asked as she looked up at him
“She did ask about it. Offered the house to host it at.” Jeongin looked down at her
“I love your mom,” Y/n smiled
“I’ll tell her next time she calls,” Jeongin laughed, pulling her closer to him again
Y/n smiled up at him as her arm draped over his middle. Jeongin leaned his forehead on hers, returning the smile. “You look like you’re thinking,” Y/n said
     “I am.”
     “About?”
“How I kind of regret saying to go slow because I kind of wanna kiss you. Especially after shopping all day…”
Y/n leaned forward and placed her lips on his. Not giving him another second to think about it. It took a second for the man to respond then he wrapped his arms around her and held her as close as he could with her bump between them.
Y/n smiled and cupped his face. Both melted into the kiss as he rolled them both over so he was on top. His hands held onto her hips as the kiss deepened. Y/n moaned into the kiss before he pulled away and looked down at her. “You okay?” He asked, kissing her cheeks
“Yeah,” Y/n said as he trailed his lips down to her neck
Jeongin didn’t say anything as he pulled away from her neck. He reached over and grabbed a pillow from the other side of the bed, moving her to get the pillow under her for her back.
     “I said I was okay,” Y/n said
“You fell asleep on your back three days ago and you woke me up at four am, yelling at me for not turning you on your side.”
     “I said sorry,” Y/n pouted
“You’re lucky you’re cute,” Jeongin kissed her pout.
Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, “Just cute?”
Jeongin hummed as he returned to kissing her neck. “Cute. Amazing. Funny. Hot. The mother of my child. All mine.” he said between kisses, getting closer to her collarbone
     “Your’s?” Y/n asked
     “Mine,” Jeongin confirmed
Y/n smiled as she looked up at him. His eyes seemed to be holding so many emotions. Jeongin leaned down to her lips again, pressing them together. Y/n moaned into his mouth. Jeongin mumbled more praises against her lip before he moved back to her neck again. Y/n moaned as he lightly bit the side of her neck. Her fingers grabbed at the hairs at the nape of his neck.
“Wish I remembered the first time we slept together,” Jeongin muttered into her skin.
     “Second time?” Y/n suggested
     “Right now?”
     “Please.”
Jeongin looked up at her, “You sure?”
“I’m really good at begging In. I’ll do it.”
“Another time,” Jeongin smiled as he leaned down and attacked her lips again.
Y/n moaned as he adjusted her legs around his waist. Y/n could feel him growing as he pressed against her. Y/n tightened her legs around him while his hands slipped under her shirt. Pushing the fabric up while he slipped his tongue past the seal of her lips.
Y/n slipped her hands from his hair as their tongues danced between them and worked on unbuttoning his shirt. Jeongin rolled his hips against hers making her moan into his mouth. His hands moved down from pushing her shirt up and unbuttoned her pants. Gently lifting her hips and pulling the fabric down.
He pulled away from her lips as she got the last button undone. Jeongin tossed off the shirt and the tank top underneath along with her pants. Y/n sat up as best she could before he helped her get her shirt and bra off.
“You’re so beautiful,” Jeongin muttered as he kissed her neck again
Y/n whined as he moved down. Kissing down between her breasts, over her growing stomach then over her clothed cunt. Jeongin laid down on his stomach as he put her legs over his shoulder after pulling the last bit of fabric off of her.
Y/n shivered as his tongue ran up from her entrance to her clit then his lips wrapped around the bud. Y/n grabbed onto the sheets under her as he all but devoured her. Jeongin moaned into her as he subtly humped the mattress. Mumbling praises that didn’t reach her ears but he would gladly repeat later.
“In,” Y/n moaned as his tongue just barely dipped into her
     “Yeah, baby?” He asked
     “Finger… please…” Y/n begged
“Yeah? Need me to fill your pretty pussy with my fingers. So wet already,” He rambled as he pushed his middle finger into her.
Y/n moaned as his finger curled up into her. Grabbing onto his hair to ground herself better. Just making the man below her moan as he continued pumping his finger in and out of her. Lips and tongue worked her clit as she moaned his name.
Jeongin slipped another finger into her, making her tighten her grip on his hair. He kept his pace steady while her legs tightened around his head. “‘M close,” Y/n whined
He hummed in response and kept his pace steady. Helping her get closer and closer til he finally tipped her over. Her cum covered his fingers as he stayed there until her grip on him loosened. He gently put her legs back on the bed as he sat up and pulled his fingers out of her, licking them clean, taking pride as he watched her face flush. He pulled his fingers out of his mouth and leaned back down to her lips, letting her taste herself off them.
“How you feelin’ baby?” He asked between kisses
     “Good. Need more.”
“Yeah? Tell me what you need baby.”
Jeongin’s lips wandered again, making her lose her thoughts alongside her post-orgasm brain. “In…”
“Words love. Need you to tell me what you need no matter how hard it is in that pretty brain of yours.”
     “Cock,” Y/n moaned
     “Where?”
     “Inside…”
“Inside where? You’re pretty mouth or your pussy?”
     “Pussy… Innie please.”
Jeongin hummed as he sat back and pulled off his pants and boxers. Chucking them onto the floor with the rest of their clothes.
     “Condom?” He asked
     “Doesn’t matter. Won’t make a difference and I’m clean.”
     “I’m clean too.”
Jeongin lined himself up with her entrance and slowly pushed in. He grabbed onto her hands and pinned them onto the pillow below. Taking his time to sink into her and letting her adjust to him. Retelling her all the praises that she didn’t hear earlier. Kissing her for the umpteenth time now. Letting her get used to him fully inside her till she begged him to move.
Jeongin sat up a bit but kept their hands together. Slowly pulling his hips back and pushing back interesting her. Keeping up the pace and not rocking her too much. Only going faster when she asked him though it was more like begging. Smiling to himself as her legs wrapped around his waist tight.
He leaned down and kissed everywhere he could on her neck, leaving a couple of marks he was sure would bruise later. Y/n gripped his hands tighter as he left his mark on her while his hips knocked into her.
Y/n moaned as a certain angle hit the right spot inside her. Her back arching off the pillow just a bit. Begging him to hit there again. Jeongin happily obliged and repositioned them a bit to get to that spot again. Picking up his pace more as he twitched inside her. Orgasm approaching quickly.
“Fuck,” he mumbled under his breath as he sat up more, taking one hand away from hers and rolling his thumb over her clit. Y/n moaned louder at the added stimulation on her already sensitive clit. Her now free hand gripping the pillow under her head before the high blindsided her.
Jeongin groaned as she clamped down around him. Making it a bit harder but he managed. Fucking her through her high again until her moans turned to whines and he came inside her. Pushing himself into her and painting her walls white. Groaning a few times as he thrusted a few more times into her. Burying himself in her once he was finished.
Both of them lay in the afterglow for a minute, catching their breaths before looking at each other. “Hi,” Y/n breathed
     “Hi mama,” Jeongin smiled
“I like when you call me that,” Y/n smiled
“Good. I’m gonna keep calling you that.” Jeongin leaned down and kissed her again
Y/n moaned into his mouth before pulling back, “Getting uncomfortable?” he asked
     “Little bit,” Y/n answered
“Let me pull out and get you cleaned up.” Jeongin pecked her lips before slowly pulling out of her before getting up to clean up. Going to the bathroom then coming back. Gently cleaning her up and fixing the covers and pillows before joining her back on the bed. Spooning her and rubbing her belly
“Can I ask a bit of a dumb question?” Y/n asked
     “You’re questions are never dumb.”
     “What are we?”
“Mm,” Jeongin kissed her shoulder, “How does being boyfriend and girlfriend sound?”
     “I like that.”
“I was just waiting for you to be ready.”
     “You’re too good for me.”
“Think I’m perfect for you.” Jeongin chuckled behind her
     “Ego,” Y/n rolled her eyes

#whimsy whispers#like#you shift into you ‘oh shit gonna make/answer a phone call’ mode#and it’s so great#cause you without realizing it put on your nicest voice and begin speaking (unles it’s someone you know well usually)#also tied in is that at least for myself and most people I know you’re gonna 9/10 times end that phone call by saying#‘bye bye’#like almost every fucking time#my customer service voice and phone voice is similar and once while at work at my prev job I had answered the phone to help a woman make an#appointment for her vehicle (which wasn’t my job but I was made to do it anyways i digress)#and so I think I told her about not being to fit her in until a certain time the next day and asked if that was okay#and was met with complete silence so after a few seconds passed I said something like ‘hello are you still there?’#and my coworker Rachel who had been standing nearby the whole time doing something else started laughing so hard#so I looked at her like ??? but continued setting up the appointment on the phone#and so the woman said she missed what I’d said and I related myself and finished the cal#and so I asked Rachel what she was laughing about and she was like ‘you were talking in such a perky voice and then suddenly stopped using#to ask if she was still there and needed you to realest what you had just said and then used the previous voice for the rest of the phone#call#and was just talking about how funny it was because it happened with no warning for a brief moment before I returned to my customer service#/on the phone voice

The Company
Newest Recruit
Story Building and Fluff
Tumblr media
Chapter 8
3,160 Words
(You and Mina’s family have a talk about her enjoying the company. Jessica goes to America to buy her new home. A new set of trainees arrive to the company from a different company.)
After talking to Mina and the choreographer, you ask them for an appointment to talk to her parents. Mina agrees and calls her mom to see when the best time to talk to them both.
You return to your hotel and talk to your assistants about recruiting her into the company. As you’re going over some possible offers, you can make you receive a phone call from the choreographer telling you that Mina and her family can meet tomorrow evening. I am glad about the rapid response and that you prepared everything for your meeting.
It’s the following day, and you’re standing in front of her house and ringing the doorbell. It doesn’t take too long for the door to open, and you see an older female, assuming to be the mother. “Good evening; you must be here because of Mina, correct?”
“Yes. Thank you for inviting me to your home.”
“Come, take a seat. I’ll call Mina and her father over.”
“Thank you,” walking to the living room and sitting on the couch.”
You see Mina walking down the stairs to the living room, “Good evening,” she shyly waved her hand. She sits on the couch across from you and waits for both her parents to arrive.
From the kitchen, Mina’s parents and the choreographer walk to the living room with drinks and snacks.
“Sorry for the wait; we wanted to bring snacks for us to enjoy.”
Once everyone is seated, you introduce yourself as the CEO of Olympus Entertainment, surprising everyone. Knowing some information about the company, the choreographer briefs the parents on the benefits offered to the trainees and the education they get.
Both the parents smile when they hear about the great benefits offered and the chance to finish their education, unlike other companies.
“We like that your company allows them to finish their studies. We want Mina to finish her schooling if possible,” says Mina’s dad.
“Yes, we understand that joining the entertainment business isn’t what some parents see as an ideal job. Here, out of our company, we want everyone to receive higher education in case the trainees decide to change their career path. We also allow them to gain experience in the field by applying to be staff in our company.”
Her parents seem a bit more comfortable hearing that there is a backup plan just in case she doesn’t want to continue. You go over on why you want Mina in your company and what you are willing to offer.
“I’m glad you think highly of our daughter and her talents. She’s been a good girl, and we think she should make this decision on her l own,” says Mina’s mom.
Mina shyly speaks up, “I want to go. I’m a bit nervous, but I think it’d be nice to meet other people who enjoy dancing.”
“Are you sure, Mina?” asks her dad.
“Yes, Ceo-nim complimented my dancing a lot, so I don’t want it to go to waste.”
Her mom then asks, “Okay, then it’s decided. Please take care of our daughter and her future.”
“I will.”
Mina and her parents sign the contract. You congratulate both of them and assure them they won’t regret it.
“Do you need her to fly to Korea now?”
Take care of your schooling and enjoy a small break. I’ll personally come and you all to the company and give you a tour and see our facilities.”
As you’re about to leave, Mina walks up and grabs the edge of your jacket, “CEO-nim, I won’t disappoint you,” as she plays with her fingers.
——————
It’s been a few days after signing Mina to your label, and you have been preparing for her arrival. During the week, you also had Jessica living with you after collecting her items from her apartment. She tells you about her plan to return to America and set up her own fashion brand.
During her stay at your place, Jessica has looked online for possible houses to buy during her stay back in San Francisco. “What do you think about this one?” she asks.
“That one looks nice; it has a nice backyard, and it's not directly in the middle of the city.”
“I like this one too, but it seems busy.”
“You said you want to relax, so maybe something where there are not too many tourists.”
“It has been nice to see them in person.”
“If you want, I can schedule a few open houses; I’m almost done with what I have to do.”
“But how are we going to get there without getting noticed? I don’t want the public to see me like this.”
“We can take my plane there.”
“You got a plane?”
“Yes, I don’t want to go through the hassle of chartering a plane, so I just bought one myself.”
You arrive in San Francisco two days later and go to multiple open houses. Most of these homes are in the millions, but you’re willing to spend that much for your child. After a few days of looking, Jessica makes up her mind, and you sign a contract to purchase the house. The both of you stopped by her parents' house to drop off some items before heading back to Korea. Jessica is about to open the door when you hear, “Jessica, is that you?” Out comes a younger version of her, her sister. She looks at you in annoyance and says, “Is that the guy that knocked you up?”
Jessica reacts and smacks her, “Shut up!” The sister runs back inside as Jessica tries to hit her again but fails. “Sorry for the rude girl over there, but that is my younger sister, Krystal.” You try to introduce yourself to her sister, but she ignores you.
“So, I heard from Mom and Dad that you bought a house nearby.”
“Actually, he bought the house,” she said as she looked in my direction.
“Hmph… that’s the least he could do after getting you pregnant and causing you to get kicked out.”
“Krystal, be quiet.”
“But it’s true. He was the cause for everything.”
“It’s partially my fault, too, not just his.”
The two of them continue to discuss with each other, and you say, “I’m going to be heading back to the airport. I’ll be back to help you move in. Also, send me the information on the fashion line.” Jessica turns around and kisses you on the cheek before you head out.
————-
A bit over a week has passed, and you are headed to Japan to pick up Mina and her parents.
They board the plane, and during the flight, you give them the rundown of what they will see during their stay in Korea.
“After arriving, we can have lunch and tour the campus. I will lead the tour while your items are taken to the hotel I reserved for you during your stay. The second day would be reviewing some fine details about Mina’s stay and looking at the dorms she would be staying in. You then have the next few days to tour around and do as you wish, and the company will pay for it.”
“Ceo-nim, you don’t have to do that,” says Mina’s mom.
“I want to. Mina is the first idol I personally recruited, making it a special moment. Plus, your daughter has a lot of talent, so it would be rude of me not to respond in kindness.”
Mina and Mina’s mom smile while her dad agrees that his daughter is worthy of such consideration.
You all arrive at the company and walk into the main building. You take them through the meeting room, cafeteria, and main practice rooms. The next stop is the education center, where most trainees have classes to finish their education, take extracurricular activities, or want to study.
The last place is the large building where I have practice rooms for small to large groups or for individual practice. “The place is so big and new,” says Mina’s mom.
“We want all our trainees and idols with the opportunity to succeed, so we provide them with the best, anywhere from education to mental health.”
“What about security, like the safety of the trainees and idols?” asks dad.
“The campus is normally closed to the public. Most areas require a security clearance based on the position you have in the company. For example, we separate the trainees and idols to prevent any potential conflict, such as education builds and dorms. Since most of them have a regular schedule, we tend to know where they are at. If there are any irregularities, we use these bracelets to know where they last were since they are used to access building doors.”
“What about if they get sick? How do they get treatment?” asks Mina’s mom.
“We do have a health center that can deal with common issues and is planning to build an in-house hospital for all company employees, trainees, and idols.”
“Seems like you all have things figured out,” says Mina’s dad.
“We want to ensure the safety of everyone here and make it as easy for them to concentrate on their goals.
After the tour, all of you go out to dinner before calling it a night. “I’ll leave you all for the night and see you early in the morning. You’ll get to experience our cafeteria and see the dorms.”
————-
Early in the morning, you meet Mina and her parents outside the cafeteria. “Good morning.”
“Good morning, Ceo-nim.”
“How was your sleep?”
“It was great; the beds were really comfortable.”
“That’s good to hear. We use the same mattress for our dorms here.”
“You hear that, Mina. Make sure not to sleep in too much,” says her dad.
“Otōsan… not in front of the Ceo,” whines Mina and covers her embarrassed face.
“It’s fine; I sometimes enjoy a good rest.”
The four of you head to the cafeteria. Mina is surprised by the number of food options that the area offers. “We offer meals three times a day and have cafes and small shops throughout the campus. You can even order a custom meal if given prior notice.”
Mina walks to the line, gets various dishes, and walks out of the line with a gummy smile.
“Seems like our daughter is going to get accustomed to here in no time,” says Dad in a joking manner.
We all laugh, and Mina turns red again from her dad teasing her. We continue to have breakfast. When we are done, we head out to the dorms where she will stay.
“The dorms are not that far away but separate from the rest of the campus. We have multiple types of dorms for those who are over of age and who are not. We keep them separate since they have different schedules and rules. Once placed in a group, you are moved to a large dorm based on the number of people within the group. They have a kitchen and more space to get to know each other better and build relationships.”
“So does that mean I get to room with another person?”
“We actually have a room available that is meant for two, but you’ll be using it on your own. Obviously, when we get more trainees, we will pair you up with someone who has similar interests.”
As we walk down the road to the dorms, her parents are amazed by how well-maintained they look. Mina cannot help but comment on how they look like college dorms and is excited to see her own dorm. “Is this my dorm?”
“Actually, yes. The one on the left.”
You take out your phone and call the dorm manager. She came outside and introduced herself as the one in charge of managing the building and dorm RA.
She leads the group to the second floor of the building and into the unoccupied wing. “You won't be in this wing, but we are going to use it as an example. Here are the shared bathrooms with multiple stalls and showers cleaned frequently. You are all divided in wings so there are not many who use the bathrooms. There are also individual restrooms throughout the building.”
She then walks to a room and opens it, “This is an example of a double room; there are two beds, a large closet for, and a table.” The parents walk around and seem to like the room, “it’s big. I think you’ll like Mina,” says her mom. “Next, we’ll see a triple room, and it’s much bigger than the double.”
After the demonstration, the manager walks the group to the dorm that Mina will be occupying. “This will be your room, Mina. It’s a double, but you won't have a roommate as of now. We expect a new round of incoming trainees, so you might be paired up soon.”
“Look, Mina, it has a nice view,” says her dad.
You comment, “I think you’ll like it. You are more than welcome to return tomorrow so you can help with the move-in process. Let’s return to my office and discuss some minor details.”
You are all in your office and take out two large folders, a copy for the parents and one for Mina. “These will be your copy of the contract, the expectations and the list of benefits, and some of the options we offer in extracurricular activities. Also, we don’t ask for any payment from the parents, and it's covered by us until they debut. After that, we do take out a share of what was invested for training.”
“That sounds more than reasonable; I heard of other companies asking for large amounts of money upfront,” says the dad.
“Yes, some do, but since we are a new company, we want to separate ourselves from them.”
As you and the parents talk, Mina looks at the extracurricular catalog and tries to decide on what she wants to join.
“Do you have an idea, sweetheart?” asks Mina’s mom.
“There are so many options, I can’t make up my mind.”
“It’s okay, Mina. Take your time; choose whenever you are ready.”
Her mom looks through the dance section and says, “I see you don’t offer Ballet.”
“Yes, unfortunately, we don’t have many trainees that practice. It was something that we wanted to have and actually have a room for it, but it's not completed.”
“What do you think, Mina? Do you still want to practice ballet?” asks her dad.
“I don’t know. I want to try other dances, but I also want to continue.”
“If you want, we can complete it for you. I would be more than happy to see you dance again.”
“See, Mina, the CEO himself said that we want to see you dance and is willing to finish its construction just for you,” says her dad.
You see, Mina thinks about it and fiddles with her fingers, “Do you really like my dancing, Ceo-nim?”
“Yes, I really did.”
“Umm… if you like it, then I’ll be more than happy to continue.”
“Aww, sweetie, that’s good to hear,” says her mom.
“That would be amazing, Mina. Then, I’ll make sure we finish the construction of the studio. You’ll be our first user so it would be like your personal dance studio, haha,.”
“See, Mina, your own studio,” says her mom.
“Thank you so much; I’ll try to live up to your expectations of me,” says Mina shyly.
After that conversation, a member of the trainee team came in and explained the clearance system and the bracelet that Mina would be wearing. This will give her access to her room and other facilities. “We have your information in our system. This bracelet serves as a smartwatch and access key to your room, the buildings you are cleared for, your health profile for the health center, and the cafeteria.”
Mina confirms her information, and the bracelet activates. The team member puts on her bracelet and shows her how it works and what type of data it shows on our end. “This information is kept on our private servers and are not shared anywhere. So when you scan it in a certain location, it only shows based information and nothing else. Try using it here.”
The screen shows Mina’s basic information as a trainee and a picture. “Okay, it seems like you’re all ready to move in.”
—————
It’s been a few weeks since Mina moved into the dorms, and she’s been slowly adjusting to her new environment. You call her a few times a week to ask how she is doing or if she needs anything. Like always, she’s shy and soft-spoken.
Today, you called her to your office to give her some news that will affect her position as a trainee. “Good morning, CEO-nim. I’m here because you wanted to see me.”
“Yes, good morning Mina. Come over and talk a seat.”
“Is something the matter?”
“Yes. I have been in contact with JYP Entertainment, and we are going to collaborate. The company will receive a couple of its idols as part of an agreement. You will be placed together with them since you’re one of the newest trainees.”
“Do you know how many trainees will be coming over?”
“There will be fifteen others; some of them have trainees for a long time while others have just a few years.”
“Does that mean I'll be getting a roommate?”
“Yes, they should be arriving within a week, so try to make them feel comfortable.”
————-
“I hope you treat my trainees well,” says Park Jin-young.
“Don’t worry. They’re going to enjoy their time here.”
“I hope so.”
You then step forward and introduce yourself, “Hello, everyone. Welcome to Olympus Entertainment. I hope you enjoy your time here and build friendships with those around you.”
All the trainees from JYP, in unison, stand up and say, “Thank you for having us, CEO.”
“All of you already know why you’re here, but, as a formality, introduce yourselves.
“Hello, my name is Im Na-yeon.”
“Hello, my name is Yoo Jeong-yeon.”
“Hello, my name is Hirai Momo.”
“Hello, my name is Minatozaki Sana.”
“Hello, my name is Park Ji-hyo.”
“Hello, my name is Myoi Mina.”
“Hello, my name is Song Min-young.”
“Hello, my name is Park Ji-won.
“Hello, my name is Kim Da-hyun.”
“Hello, my name is Son Chae-young.”
“Hello, my name is Chou Tzu-yu.”
“Hello, my name is Lee Chae-yeon.”
“Hello, my name is Kim Eun-suh.”
“Hello, my name is Jeon So-mi.”
“Hello, my name is Lee Chae-ryeong.”
“Hello, my name is Natty.”
“Welcome once again, all sixteen of you.”

Dentist Calls
Gojo x reader Genre: Fluff Words: 600 Synopsis: Gojo has a cavity. Masterlist
Tumblr media
You were enjoying a quiet evening at the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu High when Gojo Satoru, your lover, barged into your room, clutching his jaw with a pained expression. You've never seen him like this before. His usual confident grin was replaced by a frown as he winced in pain.
"Hey, is everything okay?" you asked, setting your phone aside.
Gojo exhaled dramatically, "Ugh, I think I have a toothache."
"A toothache? What happened? Did someone actually end up hitting you, the strongest sorcerer?" you quipped.
He shook his head, "No, it's those darn sweets. I think I might have eaten too many, and now my tooth hurts."
You couldn't help but crack up at the idea of the mighty Gojo Satoru being taken down by his own love for sweets. "Well, maybe it's about time you reduce the amount of sugar you consume, love."
He pouted, "But sweets are the love of my life… after you!"
You sighed, "Look, if you're in pain, you need to visit the dentist. Just ignoring the pain doesnt make it go away."
Gojo huffed and crossed his arms, "No way! I hate dentists. They're so… dentist-y. Ugh."
Rolling your eyes, you stood up, "You're just being overly ridiculous. We're going to the dentist, and that's final."
Despite all of his protests and attempts to weasel out of this situation he created by himself, you managed to convince Gojo to accompany you to the dentist. On the way, you wondered if he was just an overgrown child while watching how he whined and complained. You almost regretted your decision of bringing him here. However, once you arrived at the dental hospital, Gojo's protests reached a whole new level.
"Y'know Sugarpuff, I think I feel better already. Maybe we should just go get some ice cream instead?" he suggested, trying to use his irresistible charm, hoping you'd agree.
Much to his chagrin, you crossed your arms, giving him a stern look, "Nice try, Satoru. We're here now, and you're getting those teeth checked. You are not escaping." He finally came in terms with the fact that his attempts were futile.
Reluctantly, he clutched the back of your tshirt and followed you into the dentist's office, where he continued to make a show of his displeasure. The dentist, a stern woman with a no-nonsense attitude, took one look at Gojo and sighed.
After a examining thoroughly, she confirmed that Gojo did indeed have a cavity. He groaned, sending you a glare as if you were to blame for this.
The dentist explained the procedure in detail, and Gojo looked at her with pure shock and disbelief, as if she had just announced the end of the world. Throughout the appointment, he winced at every sound of the equipment and complained about the discomfort constantly.
Once it was finally over, you couldn't help but smirk at Satoru's pout as you left the dentist's office together. "Feel better now?" you teased.
He grumbled with annoyance plastered over his face, "I still think ice cream would have been a better cure."
You laughed, "Well, maybe, try not to eat so many sweets. Or at least, floss regularly."
As you entered the car, he shot you a playful glare, "You're enjoying this way too much, aren't you?"
You smiled, "Just consider it payback for all the times you've made my life difficult."
Despite the protests, Gojo couldn't deny that his toothache was finally taken care of. But he'd never admit it though. And maybe, just maybe, he would think twice before indulging in so many sweets in the future. No promises.

“Welcome in, how can I…,” removing your gaze from the sketch you were about to put away, your eyes connected with pools of glistening honey, irises swirling like sweet nectar. Feeling yourself drowning in the warm haze of brown, your breath getting caught in your throat and your mouth opening, you shook yourself out of your daze, “…help you.”
Flinching after your last words came out embarrassingly breathless, you sent an awkward smile that turned into a real one when the blonde girl looked at you with nothing but kindness, “Hey, I had an appointment for today.”
You scanned the calendar on the desk in front of you, “Georgia, right?”
Nodding her head, said girl let her eyes travel over your form as you stood up. She couldn’t help but study the intricate tattoos that adorned your arms, wanting to trace them and longing to discover their meanings. The initial apprehension about getting her first tattoo diminished as she admired yours, thinking that if yours looked this immaculate, she wouldn’t have to worry.
Another thing that calmed her uneasiness was not only the very attractive welcoming artist but also the atmosphere of the room.
Unlike many other tattoo shops with a rather gloomy and dark-esque appearance, this one felt like reconnecting with an old friend.
The soft scratching of Cindy Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’ coming from the boxes next to a vinyl collection in the left corner filled her ears. Sunbeams bestowed the room with a glow as orange as marigolds blooming in the late spring and the candles lit on the windowsill filled the air with a vanilla scent.
White walls were decked with hundreds of sketches varying in size and drawing style, most in black and white with a few colourful specks in between.
The wooden front desk harmonised perfectly with the brown leather seat to the left of the room, as well as the stems of the numerous plants that were scattered all around.
Comfort.
That was the only word that came to Georgia’s mind when she finished looking around, feeling the knot in her gut loosen and her stiff shoulders relax.
“What can I do for you?”
Pools of honey meeting the ocean, the blonde girl smiled, “I want to get a tattoo!”
“Well, then you’re at the right place,” you chuckled teasingly, the corners of your mouth turning up.
Seeing Georgia rolling her eyes, you continued, “Do you have an idea of what you want, or would you like some inspiration?”
“I think I know what I want,” thoughts running through her mind at a hundred miles per hour making her unsure once more.
Watching the woman twiddle the rings on her fingers, you send her an encouraging smile, “Okey dokey, if you’d take a seat in that chair over there, I’ll get my stuff and we can get started.”
Georgia shuffled to the left with her hands slightly shaking, not knowing if the cause of that were the gleaming smiles sent her way or rather the fact that she was about to permanently mark her skin.
“So, what would you like me to do?” you questioned as you rolled towards her with your chair, putting on your gloves and setting up everything you needed on the tray next to the woman.
Taking out her phone, tapping a few times and turning the screen in your direction, she replied, “Could you do this one?”
On her phone screen, you could see a small, delicate ghost, your mind instantly jumping to all the customers that had gotten two of them tattooed as a tribute to their favourite song.
“Of course, where do you want it?”
“Here,” she pointed to a spot on her left forearm.
Nodding your head, you quickly but neatly drew the ghost onto a white paper, before asking her if the drawing was according to her idea. When you got a positive response, you put the carbon paper under your sketch and went over the lines again, the ink sticking to the back of your drawing.
You swiftly put antiseptic on her arm and hovered the paper over her skin, “Right here?” She wordlessly moved her head up and down once more and you gently pressed it down before removing it after a few seconds, leaving behind the temporary ink in the form of a ghost.
“Okay, are you ready?”
Georgia could hear her heartbeat in her ears, a lump forming in her throat, that she almost audibly gulped down, a breathless exhale escaped her mouth, “I think so, yeah.”
After turning on the needle and noticing her jump a little at the buzzing that sizzled through the air, you tried to comfort her the best you could, with the most reassuring look you could muster.
When you neared her arm though and she started squirming in her seat, you pulled back and reached for her hand resting on the chair, which was holding the brown leather in a tight grip, her knuckles turning white, “Is everything all right?”
Both of you ignoring the tingles that shot through your bodies when your hands touched, a shaky sigh left Georgia’s lips, “I’m just nervous, this is my first time getting a tattoo and I just don’t know how any of this works or if this hurts and I don’t want to do something I’ll regret,” she let out in one big breath.
“There’s no need to worry, you can go home and see what it’s like with the tattoo and when it comes off and you decide that you don’t want it, that’s totally fine,” you told her with warm eyes, “and if you do like it, that’s fine too, you can come back and we can do it whenever you want, whenever you’re ready.”
Feeling like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders after your words, Georgia’s mind slowed down a bit, allowing her to gather her thoughts, “But I don’t want to be a wuss now and regret it as soon as I get home.”
Not being able to stop the words tumbling out of her mouth, the blonde shared her inner conflict, “Like on the one side I really want this but on the other, I’m afraid it’s not the right thing, you know?”
Letting the statement run through the air for a moment, your eyes ran over her face, “Can I say something?”
“Sure, go on,” Georgia confirmed, her hands starting to twist her rings again.
“I think that it’s better to look back on your life and say ‘I can’t believe I did that’ than to look back and say ‘I wish I did that,” you explained before taking a deep breath, trying to find the right words to express your thoughts, “Life shouldn’t be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, but one that should be lived to the fullest, even if it means being worn out in the end. One where you embrace every moment, take risks, I don’t know, dance in the rain with your favourite people, even if you get weird looks from everyone else.”
After not getting a response from the blonde after a few beats, you realised that maybe your words didn’t make as much sense as they did in your head and continued, “What I’m trying to say is that twenty years from now, you’ll be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the things you did do. I can’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do, but I know that life isn’t meant to be lived perfectly, it’s merely meant to be lived. Boldly, uncertainly, imperfectly, kindly, however you want to, just don’t let fear take that choice away from you.”
Somehow, the words that had left your lips with the sunlight sparkling in your eyes and a passion coating your voice drew the blonde further into the spell you had mysteriously put on her, leaving her speechless, until you let out an awkward chuckle, hand scratching the back of your neck, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to give this big ass monologue.”
Feeling a laugh bubbling up inside of her and forgetting her rapid heartbeat for a moment, she shook her head, “No, no, don’t apologise, I mean, you did kind of sound like my Nan, but it was still great.”
When she heard the melodious sound of your laughter, she knew she was a goner, butterflies dancing around her stomach and warmth crawling its way through her whole body.
You took the missing statement about her tattoo as her still being uncertain, “We can start with something smaller if you’re not sure about the ghost.”
Still being faced with an apprehensive look, you took off your left glove, quickly spraying a bit of antiseptic onto the inside of your wrist, before turning the needle on and guiding it over your skin, “Look, it doesn’t even hurt.”
Brown eyes widened, rosy lips parted, a flabbergasted look crossed her face, “Jesus Christ, what did you do?!”
Wiping over the ink once more, you turned your wrist towards her, a cheeky smile resting on your lips that resembled the one of the smiley face you now had resting on your left arm, “Tada!”
“Oh my god, I can’t believe you just did that,” the shock was still palpable in her voice, “Won’t you regret that though?”
You put away the needle and turned to face the girl on the brown chair, shaking your head, “I almost never regret anything, because I believe that every little detail of your life is what made you into who you are.”
“Deep down you’re actually a wise old man, aren’t you?” questioned Georgia with a raised eyebrow, your laughter filling the room once more.
“Maybe so,“ you shrugged your shoulders, “but back to you and don’t try to change the subject!”
“I can give you one of these little dudes if you want?” pointing to the ink that you’d just put on your arm.
“It’s not very big, so you can see what it feels like and we’d be matching, so you’ll always remember the wise old man that gave you your first tattoo.”
This time, the chuckles that rang through the room came from the blonde, “Okay, yeah, let’s do it.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do, like I said, you can always go home.”
With affirmation in her voice, Georgia declared, “I’m sure!”
“Great, let’s do this,” you put your glove back on, disinfected her left wrist and grabbed the needle from the tray, before turning it on.
When you felt her right hand gripping your left one with a tight grip, you squeezed it, hoping to at least bring her some comfort as you began the procedure.
After tracing the last line, you wiped away the residue and turned everything off before raising your head to meet the pools of honey watching your every move, “See, it wasn’t that bad, was it?”
If the way the corners of Georgia’s lips turned upwards was anything to go by, you had your answer, feeling elated about her reaction, even without getting an answer from the girl.
Not noticing that you were waiting for a response, she gazed at the tiny smiley face resting on the inside of her left wrist, that would forever remind her of this day. Suddenly, she felt at ease, something that hadn’t even crossed her mind when she initially thought about getting her first tattoo. She couldn’t explain it, but something about the way you listened to her and tried to support her through this process, overall your gentle nature, made her feel like she was walking on fluffy pink clouds.
“Thank you so much,” Georgia breathed out with a heavy voice.
“No problem! If I ever see you again, I hope it's with more of those, I think it’d suit you very well.”
Lowering her head, praying to god that you couldn’t see the heat that rushed to her cheeks, she mumbled a shy ‘thanks’ before asking you how much she had to pay.
Your answer only intensified the red hue of her face, “Don’t worry about it, I like contributing to the gay panic everyone will have when they see you with tattoos.”
Stammering a final ‘thank you’ and sending you what should’ve been a thankful look but turned out to be more of a blushing grimace, she made her way to the door.
When she tried to push the door though, the flustered mess that was Georgia realised too late that she should’ve pulled on it instead, her head connecting with the glass with a dull thud.
The sound of stifled giggles filled her ears as you held your hand in front of your mouth, trying to stop them from escaping. You couldn’t help but think that this was one of the most adorable things you’ve ever witnessed. The blonde turned to you, face beet red, slender fingers raising in an awkward wave as she hastily opened the door, almost tripping on her way out before half sprinting out of your eyesight.
Two days later, your mood instantly brightened when you saw who had stepped into your store.
“Back for some more wisdom from the old man?” you jested, a playful smirk resting on your face.
Georgia playfully put a hand on her chest and let out a big sigh, “I just don’t know what to do with my life without your wise words.”
Dropping her faux sad demeanour, she walked towards the front desk, where you were drawing something she couldn’t make out, “Well lucky for you, I just discovered my new favourite quote!”
You cleared your throat as if preparing for a big speech and started as serious as you could, “‘They whispered to her ’you can’t withstand the storm’,” pausing dramatically for a few seconds, “‘She whispered back ’I am the storm’.”
“Wow, I don’t… I don’t know what to say, I’m just- I mean that’s so inspiring,” stuttered Georgia, wiping away a fake tear with her hand.
Dropping her sad demeanour, she sent you a grin, “I’m ready for the ghost now!”
“Seriously? That’s amazing!” you exclaimed, clapping your hands together and rocking on the balls of your feet.
Walking her over to the leather chair, the conversation between you flowed easily, like a message in a bottle slowly but surely reaching its designated shore, making it feel like no time had passed when you finished the tattoo.
This time, Georgia left the store with a ghost adorning her left arm and an even wider smile on her face, as she was able to avoid embarrassment during her departure.
“I mean, not that I’m complaining, but you know that you can get multiple tattoos done in one day, right?” you questioned her, raising your eyebrow teasingly.
Seeing her head dropping and the way she started rocking on her feet while twiddling the rings on her fingers, you felt your stomach drop, thinking that you had said something wrong.
Before you could open your mouth to apologise, you were interrupted by Georgia muttering something under her breath. You strained your ears to make out the words but failed miserably.
“Sorry, could you repeat that?”
The girl let out a nervous sigh and muttered again, “I know, but I still need to figure out how to get a grip and ask you out.”
Butterflies danced around in your stomach, making you grin like a fool, “Well then make as many appointments as you need,” you sent a wink her way.
That day she left with a game of noughts and crosses on her shoulder and a newfound determination to ask you out. Her walk home was filled with a million thoughts running through her head, asking the street lights if it would work out in the end.
The next day she showed up at your store with a bouquet of beautifully blooming flowers in her hand, sweating buckets, hoping you couldn’t tell just how nervous she was.
Your cheeks hurt from not being able to stop grinning like a cheshire cat, as you excitedly accepted her offer.
If anyone were to walk through the door, they would be met with two hearts rapidly beating and two smiles lighting up the entire room.

“Sir, I can’t just… Well, I understand that you say that but…”
Amanda, the sophomore girl who worked the front desk of the English department offices, frowned, phone clutched against her head.
“I understand that,” she said again. “But she’s a special case, Professor…” She flinched and glanced up to see you coming in, looking relieved. “Sir? Give me just one second and I can check…” She pressed the hold button and lowered the receiver. “Professor, I am so so sorry, I know we’re not supposed to send unexpected calls or emails through to you but do you know a Joel Miller? He’s insisting he’s a friend of yours and…”
You raised your eyebrows before answering.
“Yeah, I know Joel. Go ahead and transfer him back to my office. And if he ever gives you a hard time again, tell him to fuck off.”
Amanda looked relieved and took Joel off hold as you went to the end of the hall and unlocked your door. You didn’t have to share an office like a few other people in your department. One of the perks, you imagined, of being a big name that got the university some attention. But you hadn’t done much with the space yet, the only thing on the wall a framed poster that the dean had waiting for you when you started there.
Your phone rang just as you set down your bag and you picked it up, tucking it against your shoulder.
“Yes, what do you want, I’m busy being very famous and important,” you said with a slight English accent.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize best selling authors were such a hot commodity,” Joel said. “Should I make an appointment?”
“Probably,” you replied. He snorted. “What’s up?”
“Did you know that you tried to put your number in my phone the other night?” Joel asked. “Note that I say ‘tried’ because what you actually did was put something in my notes that has four numbers and then seven symbols which, if you’re counting, ain’t even the right number of digits.”
You scoffed.
“You’re lucky I didn’t change your passcode or set an alarm for 4:30 in the morning,” you said. “Sounds like you got off easy.”
“You’re a menace.”
“I know,” you said, smiling a little to yourself. “So why were you looking for my number on a Monday morning?”
“Because I was looking for your number on a Sunday morning and ended up shit outta luck,” he replied. “Figured I could catch you at work. They got you all locked down over there, huh?”
“Trying to discourage random readers from contacting me here is all,” you said. “There was a problem with that at Brown right when the book first got popular. I don’t think it’d be as much of a problem now but still, administration thought it was smart. Speaking of which, don’t be a shit to my office aide.”
“Makes sense, I guess,” he said, ignoring your last comment. “Think you can put me on the list of people who are allowed to talk to you? And on the list of people who are allowed to bring you food?”
“Bring me food?” You frowned.
“Well, yeah,” he said. “I was hoping I could do that. Like… today. In an hour or so. If you’re not shaping young minds or whatever.”
“Don’t you have work?” You laughed.
“New job starts tomorrow,” he said. “And I don’t exactly have a lot of time without Sarah where I’m not at work.”
“And you want to see me?”
“No, I figured I’d just call and annoy your secretary as a new hobby…”
“Office aide.”
“You free for lunch or not, Goldie?” He said, exasperated. You resisted the urge to laugh.
“Yeah,” you said. “Yeah, I’m free. I have a class gap from 11:30 to 2. I can meet you somewhere…”
“I’ll just come to you,” he said. “Assuming that a fancy schmancy professor will still eat tamale lady tamales…”
“OK you could have opened with tamale lady tamales,” you said. “Buried the lead there, Miller.”
Joel laughed.
“I’ll give you my number and you can text me where your office is,” he said. “Then I’ll have a way to contact you that isn’t fucking gibberish. See you in two hours.”
You put his number into your phone and texted him. He responded with a screenshot of your note with the message literally none of those numbers are right which made you laugh.
It was hard to focus as you taught your next class, checking your watch every few minutes to see just how much time had passed. You were keyed up, stomach tight, and you tried to talk yourself down as you walked half way across campus back to your office.
It was Joel. Just Joel. Sure, before Friday, you hadn’t seen or talked to him in years but falling back into friendship with him had felt so easy so far. He was safe and comfortable. You’d spent every day with Joel once upon a time.
But that felt so long ago now. You were different people then. Joel was a jock who pretty much just hung out with you and tried to speed run his way through every hot girl in school. You were a geek who spent her entire life either trailing along behind Joel or with her nose in a book. A lot had changed in the last decade and a half. Joel had a kid. You’d gotten married and divorced. Well, almost divorced. Nothing was finalized yet but you’d stopped wearing your wedding band when you moved to Texas even though it still sat on the ring stand on your bedside table.
After Friday and Saturday, you weren’t entirely sure if you were going to see Joel again. You hadn’t gotten his number and you remembered nothing of trying to put your number in his phone while you were drunk. You weren’t sure if it was going to be a fluke, just a blip on the radar of your lives that had gone on totally disconnected paths for more than a decade, or if this was something that would continue.
You weren’t sure what you wanted. Losing him the first time had hurt. It might have been the worst thing that had ever happened to you, even worse than losing your mother, than watching your sister sister fall apart in slow motion over the last decade, than your father entirely. Was it something you could survive again? Was it something you’d need to dig back up and talk through with Joel now that you were speaking again? If that was what he needed, was that something you could handle doing? You weren’t sure about any of it.
But you were already starting to think that you’d go along with anything Joel wanted as long as you got to keep him around this time, just like high school. He’d been the sun and you’d been caught in the gravity of him. You wondered if you’d ever escaped it at all.
You straightened up your office a bit, not that you’d had much time for things to get too messy. Most things were submitted virtually now, though you insisted on poetry being printed to make sure formatting was maintained, and most of your personal notes were contained to planners and notebooks that were in orderly piles on your desk. You were absently checking your email when there was a knock on the frame of your door and you looked up to see Joel standing there, a foil covered plate in one hand, two glass bottles of Dr. Pepper in the other.
“Oh my God, is that Dublin Dr. Pepper?” You gaped at him.
“Technically no,” he said, coming in and setting a bottle down in front of you. “Stopped making it at the Dublin plant years ago but basically the same thing. Hi, by the way.”
“Hi. And I’ll take basically the same thing,” you said, leaning forward to peer into the hall. “Do me a favor and close the door?”
He nudged it shut with his foot and you took the bottle, popping it open on the edge of your desk. Joel sat in the chair on the other side of your desk before he followed suit, smirking as he did.
“I didn’t want witnesses if I broke the desk I’ve had all of a month, OK?” You said.
“Goldie, I don’t think you could break the desk if you tried,” he said, taking a sip of his drink. You did the same, humming a little in appreciation. You rolled the liquid on your tongue like you would a wine, the bubbles crackling and dancing there before you swallowed it.
“God, that’s good,” you said. “I can’t remember the last time I had a soda that wasn’t diet…”
“Christ you sound like a Yankee,” Joel laughed, sitting back in the chair. “That’s a Coke in your hand, darlin’, not a fuckin’ soda.”
“Oh God,” you groaned and laughed, too. “That was such a hard habit to break! I’d ask my roommate if we had any Cokes, she said no, I’d go in the fridge later and see Diet Pepsi and have a what the fuck moment.”
“Strange world out there,” Joel smiled slightly, turning the glass bottle that looked so small in his large hands.
“Are these the tamales?” You asked, nodding at the plate.
“Oh, shit, yeah,” he said, taking the foil off the plate. The corn husks glistened and you groaned a little. Joel pulled two sets of plastic wrapped silverware out of his pocket and handed you one. “How long’s it been since you had one of these?”
“I don’t even want to own up to it,” you said, unwrapping the fork and knife. “I’ve basically been on a diet for the last decade of my life, these look incredible.”
You wheeled your office chair around the desk and sat next to Joel before peeling back a husk and cutting the end off with your fork and taking a bite. Your eyes rolled back in your head and you slumped back in the chair with a satisfied moan.
“Jesus Christ.”
“That good, huh?” Joel laughed. You just nodded, mouth full, and sat up to cut off another bite before you even swallowed the first one. “Diet for 10 years?”
“Yeah,” you nodded, covering your mouth with your hand until you could swallow. “There was the book tour, they wanted me to look a certain way. And… well, my husband has a type so…”
“Fuck that guy,” Joel said, opening another tamale and taking a bite of it. You rolled your eyes a little. “Mean it, fuck that and fuck him.”
“Oh, so you don’t have a type?” You asked, brows raised. “Because I seem to remember a very distinctive type in high school…”
“Oh lord,” he rolled his eyes.
“Pretty, for sure,” you said, teasing a little. “You definitely seemed to be a bit of a boobs man…”
“If I were with someone I sure as shit wouldn’t make them fucking diet to be my type,” he cut you off. “He’s a fucking idiot, Goldie.”
“You’re making a bigger deal out of this than it really is,” you waved him off.
“No, I’m really not,” he replied. “If we’d been talkin’ I’d have fuckin’ come to Rhode Island and kicked his sorry ass.”
“Joel,” you rolled your eyes.
“What?” He asked. “I would’ve. And he’d fuckin’ deserve it.”
“Anyway,” you said, cutting off another chunk of tamale. “You’ve got a new job starting tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” he nodded. “It’s one that I’m actually lookin’ forward to, too. Get to be a little more creative…”
“You don’t normally get to be creative?” You frowned.
He scoffed.
“Not on any of the big shit,” he said. “Owners and managers get to do that. They toss me the smaller projects here and there to plan and run, this one is some owner’s suite remodel. Doin’ the bathroom, fancy fucking closet, that kind of shit. They’re letting me run it so I’ll shut up about never getting to do the fun stuff.”
“How long have you been working there?” You asked.
“Since I was 20,” he said. “So… fuck, 13 years? Jesus, I’m getting old…”
“And they’re not letting you do the creative stuff?” You asked, brows raised.
“I’m apparently ‘too valuable’ runnin’ the crew,” he used air quotes. “They throw a few of these little jobs to me every year but mostly I just make sure shit goes right on site for bigger jobs. Get it all done on time, all that.”
“Do you like doing that?” You asked.
“Not really.”
“OK,” you frowned. “So why are you still there?”
“Well, mostly because I tried paying my mortgage once with dreams and they told me to fuck off,” he said dryly and you glared at him.
“You know what I mean,” you said, cutting off a chunk of his tamale.
“Hey!”
“Shove it,” you popped it in your mouth before he could take it back. He rolled his eyes. “You’ve been doing that work for a while is what I mean, I’m sure somewhere else would hire you and you could do the parts of it you liked.”
“What I really want is to start my own company,” he said. “Well, what I really want is to play music but that ship’s sailed. Realistically, I’d like to start my own company. I think I could make some really cool shit if I had the chance.”
“So do it,” you shrugged.
“Oh yeah, easy for you to say,” he scoffed. “What, you just write your fuckin’ book?”
“No,” you said. “It took a lot of work and editing and rewriting and I’m not sure I’ll ever do it again but I did it. You can do it.”
“What do you mean you’re not sure you’ll ever do it again?” He frowned. “Thought I saw somethin’ about you writing another one.”
You looked at him for a moment, frowning a little, fork frozen over the plate. You were contracted for another book but that wasn’t something that had made national news, just an item in some industry publications after the press release from the publisher.
Why would Joel know that?
“What?” He asked. “Why are you starin’ at me?”
“Oh,” you said. “Just got something on your face…” You dipped your fork into some of the drippings on the plate before smearing it on Joel’s cheek. “Just there, nothing crazy.”
He pursed his lips and looked like he was struggling not to laugh.
“You’re the worst person I know,” he said, wiping his face with a tissue from the box on your desk.
You smirked, sitting back in your chair and putting your legging-clad legs in his lap, the way you used to sit with him on the couch back when you were teenagers.
“I know.”
“I’m serious though,” he said, the hand not holding the fork going around your calf just like it always had. “What do you mean you might never do it again?”
“I don’t know,” you sighed, peeling the husk off another tamale and cutting off a bite of it. “I don’t know that I have another story to tell. I’ve been trying to tell another one and I just… haven’t found one. I think I had one good story in me and I told it. That’s the end.”
“That’s bullshit,” Joel said.
“It’s really not,” you shrugged. “When I wrote the first one it just kind of flowed. At least the first draft did. I wrote it in about six months after my mom died and Gale…”
“Brad.”
You glared at him.
“Gale,” you repeated. “Edited it and workshopped it with me.”
“Oh I’m sure he was a fuckin’ natural at that,” Joel said, voice dripping in sarcasm. You glared at him. “What, you’re telling me I’m wrong? I don’t think I am…”
“He was well equipped for the job,” you allowed. “And yeah, it took a lot of edits and rewrites before it was ready to even start trying to show to agents, it was years of work… Who would I do that with now? I don’t know that I can do it by myself…”
“Do it with your publisher and shit,” Joel said. “Come on, don’t tell me that jackass is what’s holding you back…”
“It’s not just that. I really don’t know that I have anything else to say. And even if I did…” you took a deep breath. You’d never said this aloud, not even to your agent. “If I did, what if it’s not as good?”
Joel waved you off.
“Of course it’d be as good, the fuck are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about the fact that everyone freaked the fuck out about the fact that my ‘debut novel,’” you put the words in air quotes, “was so brilliant and shit, what if I never write anything better? What if everything I ever make after this is a let down? What if I never do anything good again? Everyone who took a risk on me, everyone who read my first book, everyone who ever thought I could do something will be let down by it. Jesus, one reviewer said it was the best debut novel since To Kill a Mockingbird, how the fuck am I supposed to live up to that? Starting to understand why Harper Lee didn’t publish anything else for decades…”
“Goldie,” Joel said gently. “I’m sure you’d write something great.”
You poked at your tamale, staring at it as you did.
“What if the only great thing I ever made was great because of him?” You asked quietly, eyes darting to Joel for a second before looking back at the plate. “What if it was just fine when it came from me and it only became what it became because of him?”
“Anything you’d write would be great, got nothing to do with fuckin’ Brad,” he said. “Not sure you can write something that’s not great.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Joel, you read the articles I wrote for the school paper,” you said. “I don’t think you’re a fair judge.”
“And your lit mag stuff,” he said defensively. “Look, I’m not a genius or anything but I’m smart enough to know when something’s great and you’re great, alright?”
“Yeah, well…” you nudged his leg with your knee. “So are you.”
He just looked at you for a moment until you frowned.
“What?”
He leaned forward with his fork, smearing some tamale drippings on the tip of your nose.
“Got something right… there.”
You laughed and he squeezed your calf and you cleaned your face before you went back to focusing on the food and life outside of your broader ambitions. Before what felt like too long there was a knock on your door and Alyssa poked her head in.
“Sorry, didn’t realize you had company,” she smiled, her eyes drifting to where your legs were still in Joel’s lap. “I was just going to put a note on your desk, I figured you’d be at your next class already. Have you written your midterm yet?”
“Not yet,” you said, looking at your watch and you realized it was far later than you realized and you had less than 10 minutes to walk to your next class. “Shit, I have to go!”
Joel released your leg from his hold and you scrambled to collect your things as Joel cleaned up the remains of lunch.
“If you wanted to write midterms together,” Alyssa said as you slung your bag over your shoulder. “Maybe next week?”
“Sure,” you said, looking around at your desk and grabbing your gold notebook before standing next to Joel. “Email me?”
“Yup,” she smiled, looking Joel up and down. “Absolutely will. Hi.”
“Hi,” he said, smiling a little. You looked between them and fought the urge to groan. She was just Joel’s type.
“Alright, some of us have to go teach,” you said. “Out of my office so I can lock up.”
You ushered them both into the hall.
“Have fun teaching,” Alyssa waved, giving Joel a last look before heading to her office a few doors down from yours.
“Oh I’m sure I will,” you said, taking Joel’s hand and pulling him along behind you before he could start gawking at her and then you were really late for school. “See you later…”
“What was that about?” Joel laughed as you spilled out into the hall that was tight with the press of students.
“I know your type,” you said. “And I don’t have time to wait for you to be done doing your thing…”
“My ‘thing?’ And you know my type?” He asked, brows raised. “Really? Well, in that case…”
“Oh shut up,” you rolled your eyes and he laughed.
“I came by to see you, for the record,” he said. “And apparently feed you properly since you aren’t gonna do it yourself…”
“Thank you,” you said, sincerely. “That was really good. And it was really nice, hanging out with you.”
“It was good to hang out with you, too,” he said, smiling a little, his hands shoved in his pockets. “Should let you get to class though. Those minds aren’t gonna shape themselves. And I have your actual number now, not the fuckin’ hieroglyphics you tried to leave me Friday…”
“And I have yours,” you smiled back. “But I do have to go…”
“Right,” he said, leaning in and pulling you into a hug and holding you close for a second. He was warm and his chest was firm and there was something about the way his arms fit around you that was so all encompassing you were certain that you belonged there with him. That, somewhere in the universe, the root of you both had grown together and separated just to find each other again. He pulled back. “Don’t let those college kids give you too much trouble.”
“I won’t,” you said. “Don’t let Sarah give you shit.”
“Oh, I will,” he said. “Can’t help it. Bye, Goldie.”
You smiled.
“Bye, Joel.”
You were three minutes late to class. You didn’t care.
When you got home, you went to one of the boxes you hadn’t unpacked yet, one that sat in the  extra bedroom that you hadn’t found a use for yet. You knew exactly which box, the one filled with things you only looked at when you were feeling especially strong or particularly weak. You sifted through old notebooks, past one of Joel’s faded band t-shirts that you’d swiped at his house when Tommy had knocked a cup of Kool-aid over when you were wearing a white shirt and Mrs. Miller and scrambled to get your top in the wash to get the stain out and then you’d never given it back, down to the shoebox of photos. You pulled it out and looked through them. Joel at 16, a confused look on his face as he lay on the wheeled contraption he used for sliding easily under his truck and you surprised him with camera, a splotch of grease on his cheek. You, 17, in Joel’s letterman that was big on him so it was massive on you, sleeves shoved up around your forearms as you stuck your tongue out at the camera. The two of you, 16, sitting on opposite sides of a restaurant booth, your legs stretched out on the benches, a basket of fries and a milkshake between you. You were flashing a peace sign at the camera and Joel was looking at you, a soft smile on his face.
It was easy to remember what friendship with Joel had been. It would be so easy to fall back into it. It felt like you were always supposed to be this way, lives so intertwined they were built on the same foundation. It had seemed an impossible thing, to blow it all apart. You’d loved it then. You missed it now. But it had blown apart and you weren’t sure you could survive losing it again.
You sighed, flipping to the back of the box to the photos from prom night. Your mom had sent them to you after you’d moved to Rhode Island and they’d languished at the photo lab for weeks. There was a simple note: “Thought you might want these,” a little heart drawn at the end.
You found the picture of the two of you together, your hand on his chest, his arm around your waist. You were looking up into his eyes and he was looking into yours, a small smile on his face, just enough for the beginnings of his dimple to show. You looked at it for a while before you signed, packing everything else away and moving to your office, propping the photo against your computer as you sat down to write.
***
Sarah had been in rare form that night. Very skeptical about why she needed to do homework at all and trying to logic her way out of needing to do it for as long as she possibly could.
“Kiddo, if you just sat down and did it, you’d be done by now,” Joel had groaned at one point.
“But if I just didn’t do it, I’d be done by now, too,” she replied.
He took a deep breath. Sometimes, this girl…
“Not on the table, Baby Girl,” he said. “You can either do your homework now and have time to watch TV before bed or you can not do your homework and fight me on it, not watch TV and get up early tomorrow to finish your homework. Up to you.”
She groaned, picking up her pencil, bouncing her leg impatiently under the dinner table. Joel wasn’t sure who was happier when the damn worksheets were done, him or his daughter.
Once Joel was certain Sarah was asleep, he went to the back of his closet and found the box that he kept stashed away. He didn’t have to look far, the two copies of your book right on top. One was signed. He didn’t open that one, just looked at it now and then, held it when he wanted to touch something you’d touched once.
The other had a worn spot on the spine, where the structure of the book had cracked and bent enough times because he’d tried to read it dozens of times but could never bring himself to go past the first page.
He liked the cover of it, certain that you’d had a hand in picking it. It was simple, an orange sun with a gilded flower in front of it, the title, Halcyon, in bold letters below the abstract image. Joel flipped past the pages of praise, the title page, the table of contents, the forward written by fucking Brad. He turned until he got to the words that were yours. He knew they were yours, he recognized the voice of you, even on paper. No matter what you said, there wasn’t an ounce of Brad there. At least, not on that page.
“The sun in Texas was hot in summer,” you’d written, “melting ice cream and asphalt in equal measure. But it was the heat of his palm that made my cheeks burn…”
He closed the book, looking at the back cover with your picture on it. Your arms were folded so that one was in front of you, the other vertical alongside your face. Your gaze was intense, a knowing smile on your lips, as though you were staring at him, teasing him, tempting him. “The answers are all here, Joel,” your picture said. “If you could just make yourself read it, you’d know.”
He put the book down and got his phone out of his pocket, finding your number in his contacts.
You answered on the second ring.
“Oh my God, you’re so demanding,” you sighed in faux exasperation.
Joel laughed.
“I know, I’m so fucking needy, don’t know how you stand me.”
You laughed back.
“What’s up?”
“Been thinking,” he began.
“You?” You said. “Really?”
“Shut up.”
You giggled.
“Anyway,” he continued. “Feel free to tell me to kick rocks but… Sounds like neither of our lives have exactly gone the way we’ve wanted them to.”
“You mean you didn’t plan on being a single dad and I didn’t plan on being divorced at 32?” You gasped. “Color me shocked!”
“We were always good at holding each other accountable,” he said, ignoring you. “Hell, you’re the only reason I graduated high school…”
“And you’re the only reason I started at the school paper,” you said. Joel smiled at that, the memory of standing outside the newspaper office while you talked to the teacher so you couldn’t back out.
“Right,” he said. “Well… what if we did that now?”
“Now?” He could hear you frowning through the phone. “What do you mean?”
“I mean,” he said. “Why don’t we try to actually get our shit together? You make me better, always have…”
“You, too,” you said quietly but you at least sounded serious now.
“When are you supposed to have your next book done?” He asked. “Assuming there’s a contract with a deadline for that shit, right?”
“End of next year,” you sighed.
“Great,” Joel said. “Alright, let’s give ourselves to the end of next year to set ourselves straight. You finish your book, whatever else you want to get done…”
“Finalize my divorce,” you said.
“That’s a good one,” Joel said. “I’ll see about starting my own business…”
“And having a stable relationship?” You asked.
“Sounds like a good goal,” he answered, his stomach twisting a bit at that. “What do you say? We come up with a list of shit and go from there? You know we’re better when we’re on a team than when we’re not.”
You were quiet for a moment.
“Yeah,” you said eventually. “Yeah, let’s do it.”
Joel smiled a little, looking down at the box, the cover of your book looking back at him.
“It’s a deal,” he said. “We’ve got this, Goldie.”
You laughed a little.
“Hell yeah we do.”

Can you Jared x reader x Paul when she gets her eyelashes done and they are spamming her phone while she’s getting them cause they miss her, and then you can make up the rest?
"are you sure you don't want to check your phone?" your lash tech asked as she looked over to see your phone lighting up for the millionth time since you laid down in her chair.
you laughed, humming, "positive," you reassured, "it's definitely just my boyfriends," you added and she nodded, laughing with you.
"men," she rolled her eyes as she went back to working on your lashes.
you two continued your conversation for the next hour or so while she touched up your lashes, the boys never failing to take a break from blowing your phone up with random text messages about how much they missed you.
you were getting towards the end of your appointment when the front door of the salon opened and your lash tech let out a loud laugh as jared and paul walked in, looking like two fish out of water as they anxiously looked around for you.
you couldn't see it because she was actively working on your lashes but you knew, based on her laugh that they had definitely showed up, "oh my god are you guys serious?" you laughed, letting out a soft sigh as you felt paul and jared's familiar hands on your own, each offering your hand a soft squeeze, "you two are fucking ridiculous," you laughed, "it's literally been like an hour," you added, smiling as jared pressed a soft kiss to your hand.
"we just missed you so much babe, couldn't bear to spend another minute without you," jared mused dramatically, eliciting a series of giggles from you.
"and it was taking way longer than you said it would," paul added, "what if you got kidnapped and we weren't here?" he asked, copying jared's dramatic tone which had you laughing again.
"so these are the infamous boyfriends?" your lash tech asked, an amused smile on her face as she went back to finishing up your lashes for you.
you giggled, "definitely are," you smiled, "aren't they so handsome?" you asked teasingly, smiling when paul and jared both squeezed your hands at your comment.
"oh they definitely are," she mused, matching your tone which had both of you laughing.
"oh you should totally meet their friend embry, total hottie just like these two and he's single," you mused, squealing when paul pinched at your hip for your comment about embry.
"embry is definitely not hot," jared laughed, him and paul both laughing at your comment.
although they couldn't see it, you rolled your eyes, "he totally is," you argued before turning your attention back to your lash tech, "so are you interested? he's great, you'd love him," you mused, giggling when she hummed as she thought about it for a moment.
"sure why not?" she agreed after a moment, all four of you bursting into laughter at her agreement. she quickly finished up your lashes, "you're all good gorgeous," she added after a moment and you smiled, opening your eyes.
before you could say anything to paul or jared, jared was quick to jump in, "oh my god they look so good," he murmured, cupping your face in his hands so he could get a better look at your eyelashes.
you giggled, rolling your eyes, "she always does an amazing job," you mused, smiling over at your lash tech who nodded, blushing at your compliment, "now give me your phone so i can give you embry's number, yea?" you asked, beaming when she handed you her phone so you could set the two of them up.

Yours Truly
This is part 18 of my Skz poly fic. Sorry it's been a while my job has been working me almost everyday.

Warnings: Crying, Swearing, Jealousy
You woke up feeling slightly better. You feel Minhos arms still around you and cuddle deeper into his chest. That's when you realize the pair of arms around behind you caging you in.
"Awake yet?" You hear I.N. say. You carefully flip over so you don't wake Minho. You look at him and he smiles at you.
"How are you feeling?" He asks you hand on your hip. "Like I was hit by a car." You say voice still rough. He rubs your hip gently.
You can see the concern on his face and bring a hand to his face. "I'm okay. Compared to earlier when I felt like I was hit by a train this is nothing." You say getting a small laugh out of him.
"That's not good though." He says quietly and you nod.
"I know." You tell him. He sighs and you see the concerned look still hasn't left. "Innie I'm okay." You say smiling weakly at him.
His hand goes to your head feeling it. "You sure you don't need to see a doctor or something?" He asks and you nod. "I'm sure." You say and he nods.
"Tell us if you do. We'll set up an appointment okay?" He says bringing his hand from your head. You nod at him and he sighs.
"Are you hungry?" He asks and you shake your head. "Good because our chef is currently behind you asleep." He says smiling causing you to let out a rough laugh.
"I don't think you want anyone else cooking for you." He says laughing.
Your laugh fades out and you smile at him. He smiles back at you and before you know it his lips meet yours. He pulls away realizing what he did. He quickly sits up and you grab his arm.
"Where are you going?" You ask him and he looks at you biting his lip. "I didn't mean to do that. I'm sorry." He says softly pulling his arm out of your grip.
"It's okay." You tell him and shakes his head getting out of the bed. "No it's not." He says quickly leaving the room.
You think you might cry now. You can already feel the tears leaving your eyes. "Y/N?" You hear Minho say sleepily.
You can't help but let out a quiet sob. Minho grabs you and gently turns you over so he can see you.
"What's wrong?" He says concerned. He moves your hands from your face and thinks his heart is breaking looking at the tears running down your face.
"He kissed me and then left. Why?" You say still crying. Minho brings a hand to your face. "Who?" He says softly.
"Innie. H-he just left." You say sobbing. Minho sighs bringing you into his chest. "You remember when the argument with Seungmin happened?" Minho says and you nod into his chest.
"It's like that. We all agreed that we weren't going to make a move on you. We weren't supposed to. We were supposed to talk to you more. Get to know more about you before anything happened." Minho says rubbing your back.
You let out another sob. "Don't cry please. It's okay. Everything is okay." Minho says trying to reassure you. He continues rubbing your back until you drift off to sleep. Until your tears are your lullaby.
Minho looks at you and sighs. The boys were in too deep already.
He gently gets up careful to not wake you. He grabs his phone unlocking it. He opens the group chat.
'Everyone in the living room now.'
He walks to the door closing it gently. He walks into the living room and the boys are sitting on the couch. They all look at Minho confused except I.N. who looks down at his hands, playing with his fingers.
He sighs running a hand through his bed hair. He brings two of his fingers to the bridge of his nose pinching it.
He sighs once and removes his fingers. "What have I told you all about Y/N?" He says and the boys tilt their heads except I.N.
"Let me remind you all. We all agreed we weren't going to mess with her feelings right?" Minho says and the boys all nod their head along with I.N. who has a guilty look on his face.
"We also said we weren't going to make a move on her just yet right?" The boys once again nod along with I.N. who is pinching at the skin of his hand now to stop himself from crying.
Chan notices it and sighs. "What did you do?" He asks I.N. and he can't help it anymore letting the tears fall.
"I fucked up." He says quietly. The boys all look at him concerned. Chan grabs him bringing him closer.
He continues to cry and even Minho feels bad for him. Yet he also feel bad for you.
"I kissed her." I.N. says sobbing into Chan. He brings I.N. into his chest rubbing his back. "It's alright." Chan says to him.
Minho shakes his head. "It's not alright." Minho says and that has the boys looking at him.
"What's wrong with you?" Hyunjin says harshly. Minho raises an eyebrow at his words.
"With me? I.N. kissed her and Y/N feels like shit because he just up and left. That doesn't seem like he's playing with her feelings?" Minho says getting annoyed now.
Changbin sighs. "He's crying. Obviously he feels bad about it. We shouldn't make it harder on him." He says and Minho shakes his head.
"He should feel bad about it. We all agreed that we weren't going to do it but it makes it okay if he cries about it?" Minho says raising an eyebrow.
"What's your fucking problem?" Jisung says back to him. He rolls his eyes.
"I'm siding with Minho on this. You guys had a problem with me being even alone with Y/N. He did something against we all agreed on. Isn't it double standards?" Seungmin says and that earns an eye roll.
"Didn't we apologize?" Chan says.
Seungmin lets out an annoyed sigh. "Yeah after I walked out the fucking house." Seungmin says standing up from the couch.
"Why are you choosing her side? She's not one of us." Hyunjin says bitterly.
"Because we all fucking agreed on it and he broke it. He kissed her." Seungmin says back angrily. Minho gently rubs his arm trying to calm him.
"We're not spending the night here. We're going to wake up Y/N and go to her house or stay in a hotel tonight. I want you guys to realize how fucked up you guys sound while we're gone and think of a really good fucking apology." Minho says sharply.
That takes the boys by surprise but that doesn't stop the next words that leave Jisungs mouth. "So you guys are choosing her over us." He says and Minho and Seungmin are taken aback from his words.
"We're not choosing anyone but we do know you guys are in the wrong. So if that's how you want to feel go ahead. We'll be back when you get your fucking heads together." Seungmin says muttering the last bit and turning around along with Minho to go to wake you.
You feel a gentle shake wake you. You open your eyes to see Seungmin. "Hey. Something happened between me, Minho and the boys. We're not going to stay here with them. Would you rather us go to your house or a hotel. It'll probably be for a couple days." Seungmin says softly and you look at him confused.
"What happened?" You mutter and Seungmins gaze softens.
"Nothing. Just a little argument. The boys just need to get their heads together okay?" Seungmin says softly.
You remember I.N. kissing you and Minho asking if you were okay. "Is it because of me?" You say sadly. Seungmin sighs. "No. It's them." He says softly grabbing your hand and squeezing it softly.
Minho comes into the room and looks at you. "I have our clothes packed." Minho says softly to Seungmin.
You look at him and he smiles towards you. "Are you ready?" Minho asks you.
"Yeah. My house is fine." You say softly.
"Then you need to hurry up or we'll leave without you." Minho says laughing. "You don't have a key." You say laughing.
He grabs your keys and dangles them. "Well now I do. You have 2 minutes." He says laughing. You quickly get up and grab your stuff quickly while Seungmin and Minho laugh at you.
"I wasn't going to actually leave you." He says once you're done grabbing your stuff. You sigh. "I'm literally dying and you have time for jokes." You say and he smiles shrugging.
"Well we'll take care of you at your house." Minho says opening the room door following after you down the hall.
Your eyes fall on the boys who you see look away from you or have tears in their eyes. You can't help but wonder what happened. You silently put on your shoes and you can feel the tension. You open the door and nothing else is said.
Minho is putting on his shoes while Seungmin and you are already in the car putting the clothes in the trunk of your car. He feels a hand come to his arm and doesn't look at them.
"Min." Jisung says and he can hear the tears in his younger boyfriend voice. He continues putting his shoes on refusing to acknowledge him.
"We're sorry. We didn't mean it." Jisung says crying.
Minho shakes his head. "We're leaving. We'll text you guys when we're ready to see you again. Until then I don't want you guys to text or call us." Minho says softly pulling Jisung from his arm opening the door.
The door shuts and tears start to fall among the 6 boys by themselves.

Coming To An Understanding #2
Previous
“You got any plans for Saturday?” you ask, digging in your bag for your phone to show Melissa the lunch menu for the new place you’d found online.
“I got a thing,” comes the snapped reply.
You frown, not used to this sort of reply from her.  “Okaaay…like an all day thing or..?”
“Just a thing, okay?” she says without looking at you.
You shrug, not willing to fight over nothing.  “Fine.  You mind if I invite Jacob over to mine and we watch the Mandalorian then?”
“Do what you want,” she says making a vague gesture with her hands, still refusing to look at you.
Pulling out your phone, you leave the tab for the restaurant open, but instead open up your messages, doing your best to distract yourself from the red head’s snippy mood.  Part of you wants to press further and ask what’s got her being so short with you, but you quickly decide whatever it is, you don’t need to pry.  If she has a thing she wants to keep private, then that’s up to her.  If she wants to tell you, she’ll tell you, but until then there’s always that level of Match 3D on your phone you could never get past.
*
In bed that night at your apartment, you still haven’t got past that damn level of Match 3D and at this point, you’re starting to doubt you ever will.  To stop yourself throwing your phone across the room you’d swapped your phone for your book, letting yourself get lost in another world for a while.
You’re so engrossed that you almost miss Melissa setting down her own phone with a sigh.
“I’m going to the hair salon on Saturday,” she says quietly.  “Getting a few touch ups.”
Looking up at her, you smile.  “Okay.  You want me to meet you after?  Or we could maybe do breakfast beforehand if your appointment isn’t too early?”
She just looks at you, as though waiting for something.
“What?  You want me to be shocked?” you ask, putting down your book and turning to look at her properly.  “I know the rug doesn’t match the drapes, Lissa.”
At this, she rolls her eyes, letting out a huff.
“Are you getting something different done?”
“No,” she answers quickly.  Almost too quickly.  “Just touch ups,” she adds rather defensively, before looking away, fiddling with the blankets.  “Why, would you prefer I changed it?”
“Melissa, you know I’d love you no matter what colour your hair was, right?” you ask, waiting until she meets your eyes before continuing.  “I mean, do I think the red is hot?  Yeah.  But it’s hot because it’s on you.  If you wanted to go blonde, brunette, hell green, it wouldn’t change anything.  I want you to do what you want.”
She looks thoughtful for a moment.  “Even if I didn’t dye it at all?”
That’s when you see it; the hesitation, the worry.  “Have you seen Paget Brewster lately?” you joke, knowing she’d made fun of your reaction to the new look a certain Emily Prentiss was sporting.  “I think you’d rock whatever look you decided to go for.  And I’d love you all the same.”
You look down as you feel her toy with one of your rings.  “Why didn’t you want to tell me?”
She lets out a sigh.  “I know you know how old I am, but I just…well it just felt easier to keep that kinda stuff behind the scenes.”
“Stay here,” you tell her, clambering out of bed and heading for the bathroom.  Grabbing the couple of boxes of hair dye from under the sink, you sit on the edge of the bed.  “You think mine is natural?  I pick whatever colour is on sale and takes my fancy that day.”
“Well, there ain’t exactly much down there to compare it to,” she smirks.  “Wait, you don’t even use the same colour?”
You can’t help but laugh.  “Like you’ve never noticed it’s been about twenty different shades, none of them exactly natural, since we met?”  You gather up the boxes of hair dye, moving to return them to the bathroom.  “You can even pick the colour next time if you want.  Though full disclosure, I’m working on a totally natural Cruella De Ville stripe and when that comes in properly it’s getting left well alone.”
You hear her chuckle from the bathroom and when you return to bed, she’s put her phone away and has already turned off the bedside light.  She opens her arms to you, letting you cuddle in close.
“Sorry I was snarky earlier,” she says softly in the darkness.
“You don’t need to be sorry,” you reply.  “Thank you for telling me though.”
“Thank you for putting up with me,” she says finally after a long pause.
Pressing a kiss to the closest patch of skin you can find, you tighten the arm around her waist.  “You got the rough end of that deal being landed with me,” you say, smiling as you feel her press a kiss to the top of your head in response.

A/N: Call of Duty brain rot has set in lolol I hope y'all enjoy it! Let me know what you think!
Y/N was a simple woman, or so she liked to think. She went to work, back to her apartment, and sometimes she'd hit the gym. She was what most people would call bland, a wet blanket. Boring.
She was single, with no kids, and no man in her life - it was lonely sometimes, sure, but she liked it. It gave her time to focus on the thing that really meant something to her - her practice.
"Doctor Laswell, the next patient is ready for you," the nurse called into her office.
Y/N rose from her chair, glancing over the chart in her hand before she entered the room with a small smile. "Hello, how are you guys today?"
The young couple looked from the young puppy in the woman's lap and then back to the doctor. "We're doing okay, just here to get Bella's shots up to date."
Taking the squirmy little thing from her owner, Y/N cuddled it to her chest, chuckling when it gave her a few sloppy kisses on her cheek. "You're so sweet, aren't you, girl."
Y/N loved her job. She had always had a knack for taking care of animals - for the most part, all they wanted was a warm place to sleep, some good food, and love. They were simple, easy to read, and never meant you harm unless you gave them a reason - they were with you for life, unwavering and full of devotion.
Y/N quickly administered the medication to the puppy, rubbing the sore spot down with her gloved fingers gently. "You're so brave, Bella. Such a good girl," she cooed.
Giving the nurse the puppy's record to update, Y/N turned and handed the dog back to her owners. "Okay, you're good to go for now. Just stop by the ladies at reception to make sure you get the appointment set up for her final round of shots, okay?"
The rest of the day went by in a blur, animal after animal treated, and, as much as Y/N enjoyed her job, she was ready to get home to her warm bubble bath. She washed her hands and bid her staff goodbye as they filed out one by one until she was the only person left in the office. She turned the lights off, making sure everything was as it should be before she locked the door and walked to her car.
She unlocked her car before she got to it, ready to sit down and give her aching feet a rest. She reached out to open the door when she felt something hard hit her across the side of her head. She fell to her knees, her vision blurring as she crashed to the ground. Her palms and knees burned as the asphalt scraped away the skin. She blinked quickly, trying to clear her sight.
"Laswell?" The man asked from above her, his voice almost a growl. When she didn't answer he grabbed a handful of her hair, pulling her face to look at him. "Are you Y/N Laswell?"
Y/N gasped, pain shooting through her head. "Yes, yes, that's me."
Her sight finally cleared and she struggled to sit up, seeing two large men with masks covering their faces. One had a gun while the other continued to land hit after hit to her, her body, her face, anywhere he could. She was crying now, her arms covering her face as she tried to protect herself as best she could.
"Tell that bitch to make it right," the man sneered at her. "Or you're dead."
She was left in the parking lot by herself, blood coming from the cut on her head and her lip. She dug desperately in her purse, finding her phone and pulling it out with shaking hands. She was still crying, tears mixing with the blood that dripped onto her scrubs.
"Laswell," her aunt's voice came from the other end of the line. "Hello?"
Y/N sobbed into the receiver. "Aunt Kate?"
"What's wrong," Kate asked instantly, her voice tight. "Bunny?"
"There were these men," Y/N explained the situation as best she could through her panic. "Can you call an ambulance to the office? I don't think I can drive."
"They're on the way, Bunny, just stay where you are," Kate told her. "I'm on my way to you. I'll see you in a bit."
A few hours later, Y/N and Kate had finally been reunited in the emergency department of the hospital. Y/N was cleared to go home as soon as the bags of antibiotics and fluid were gone - just as a precaution, they told her. They had given her an injection for pain, but still, she found her head throbbing with every movement.
"Okay," Kate mumbled under her breath, pacing from one end of the room to the other. It seemed like time was in an endless loop - Kate would stop to ask questions, jot them down on a notepad, grumble to herself, and then go back to pacing. At times Y/N could've sworn she could see the older woman looking at her, her eyes filling with tears before she would excuse herself into another room.
Y/N frowned, watching Kate's back disappear into the tiny bathroom once again. She wanted to follow her, to check on her, but the pounding in her head kept her seated. Slowly, she brought the ice pack back up and pressed it against the offending pain, grimacing when the ice pack made contact with the bruise surrounding her eye. The television was on in the background, the volume whisper-low, but she paid it no attention.
It wasn't long before Kate came back out, dabbing at her eyes with a tissue. She gave her niece a small, tight-lipped smile. "Allergies."
"Aunt Kate, please you need to sit down and stop worrying. You're going to raise your blood pressure." Kate still paced the length of the room, just a little bit slower. Y/N tried to cut the tension with a joke, "Or walk a hole in the floor. They probably wouldn't appreciate that..."
Kate didn't fall for it and, instead, she came over and surveyed the damage to her niece's face with a grimace. Gently, she turned her face from one side to the other, her fingers grasping her chin. "Oh Bunny," she whispered.
"I'm okay," Y/N tried to soothe her. "Kate, I'm okay."
Kate almost glared at her, no true malice for her niece, purely frustration at the circumstance. "You're telling me that you're not in pain right now?"
"It'll heal," she said softly. "Come on, you've been waiting on me hand and foot since you got here. I haven't seen you in almost a year and I've missed you."
"Oh, Bunny, you know I've missed you too," Kate's eyes softened slightly and she nodded, sitting on the bed beside her. "Okay. Do you need anything?"
Y/N took her hand and simply held it - something she'd done as a child that still brought her a semblance of comfort. The older woman rubbed her hand softly, her eyes trained intently on her niece. "This is enough for now."
Kate nodded and sighed. "Okay, okay."
They sat there quietly for the first time since Kate had arrived. Y/N's mind was whirling with thoughts and memories. Most from the attack, but in between the awful there were also some from when she was a child - so she chose to focus on the good ones. She peeked around the icepack and asked, "Do you remember the first time you and Rachel took me ice skating?"
"Oh God. You were a wreck - you looked like the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz when he first started walking." Kate laughed. The memory curled the corner of her lips - the younger woman's superpower if she had one - and she shook her head lightly. "You know, if it were up to Rachel she'd be here too - you are her favorite person."
Y/N gave her hand a small squeeze, taking her chance to change the subject. "How is Aunt Rach?"
"She's doing well," Kate admitted. "She's at an art show in New York right now."
Y/N had always been envious of her aunt's artistic ability. Sure, she could draw the basics, but Rachel's work was nothing short of beautiful. She wasn't even ten years old the first time she met Rachel. She was tall, thin, and willowy - she looked like something from another planet to Y/N. She was gorgeous. That day she took the time to show Y/N how to draw a rose - something the younger girl kept close to her heart for years to come.
"She's talented and she knows it," Y/N said fondly. "I miss her."
Kate agreed, a flash of pride in her eyes. "She would love for you to come stay with us - for as long as you'd want to. We both would."
"That's very kind," Y/N felt a surge of appreciation for her words but still disagreed. "But I'll be okay back at my apartment. Plus, I don't want to impose."
"Impose," Kate huffed with a roll of her eyes. "You live alone, you don't have any kind of protection. Your building's security is lacking. And plus, you're my favorite niece."
"I'm your only niece," Y/N sighed. She knew Kate was right, but she didn't want to place any more worry or guilt on her aunt's shoulders. She was still frightened, though. "How does Rachel stay safe while you're gone? Does she have a gun?"
Kate nodded seriously. "Yes, she does. She carries it in her purse, with a concealed carry permit, of course. I taught her how to shoot when we first started dating, just in case."
"Of course you did," Y/N smiled as best she could, wincing when her split lip seared with pain. "So do you think I should get one, too?"
Again, Kate nodded. "You know my stance on that. However..."
Y/N raised a brow. "What?"
"I think I may have a solution," Kate admitted. "You aren't going to like it, but remember, this would be temporary. Just until I know I have the people who did this to you."
Y/N was curious, sure, but she also knew she likely wasn't going to like what Kate had to offer. She waited, watching as the wheels in her aunt's brilliant mind spun, slowly clicking the puzzle pieces together. She pulled out her phone, tapped some buttons, and finally looked genuinely relieved since the first time she'd arrived. "It's damn near perfect."
"What are you thinking," Y/N questioned. "You look like you've solved world hunger."
"I have someone coming to keep a watch on you," Kate told her. "He'll be the one with the gun, so you don't have to worry about that. He'll stay with you until we get these bastards. Until you're safe."
"Are you talking about a bodyguard?" Y/N furrowed her brows. "Kate, c'mon. I don't think that's necessary-"
Kate cut her off. "I have just the person in mind. I've worked with him for a long time, completely trust him. He's top of the line, Bunny."
"Do I have a choice," Y/N asked softly, the answer already known.
Kate, again, gave her a small smile. "No."
That evening, after she was released from the hospital, Kate helped her back to her apartment. She was scuttling around from one window to another, checking the locks as Y/N was nestled in her chair, her body still aching. She had a tablet in her hands, reading over some of the charts of her patients. She couldn't be at work until she was fully cleared, but she still accepted the simpler cases so people wouldn't have to go to the next town over to keep their animals healthy.
"You should be resting," Kate chirped from the doorway of the kitchen. "But because I know you aren't going to listen I brought you a cup of coffee and a bagel."
Y/N gave her aunt a small smile and thanked her with a nod, taking the cup from her hands. Kate lay the plate with the bagel on the table beside her. "I wonder where I get that stubborn quality from?" Y/N joked.
"Watch yourself, smart-ass," Kate chuckled, shaking her head lightly. "But seriously, don't overdo it, kiddo. I know you want things to stay relatively normal, but you still need to take it easy, okay?"
The younger woman nodded. "I promise."
A knock at the door shattered the silence and Y/N gasped and looked to her aunt. Kate stood, her hand by her gun on her side, and walked toward the door. She glanced out of the peephole and lowered her shoulders, her hand moving from her gun to the doorknob. She opened the door and stepped outside, her voice met by another deeper one.
Y/N strained her ears to hear the conversation outside, but couldn't make out any distinct words. Kate's comfort with the person on the other side calmed her worry, so she sat back and took a bite of her bagel. When she heard two sets of footsteps enter her apartment she pretended like she didn't notice, too absorbed in her work, but in reality, she was hyper-aware of the large figure shadowing her aunt.
"Bunny," Kate's called, breaking the silence. "This is John, he's a friend of mine and a damn good soldier. He's going to be watching over you until we're sure that you're safe."
Y/N glanced up from her work at Kate before her eyes shifted over to the large man behind her. Y/N gave him a tight grin, rightfully nervous about having him in her home. He was a stranger, after all, even if Kate did vouch for him. And she knew Kate was only able to stay for a few more hours - with her important work and all.
John gave her a quick nod, his hands in his pockets. "Nice to meet you, Y/N."
"Thank you for your help, John," Y/N said quietly.
John gave her a wink and it was then she noticed how absolutely blue his eyes were. "Your aunt's told me a lot about you."
Y/N smiled at him. "I wish I could say I've heard a lot about you, but Kate keeps me in the dark about most things."
John chuckled. "Sounds about right."
"Anyway," Kate cut their conversation. "The arrangement is simple - John stays with you as much as possible. Of course, you're allowed your personal space, but he needs to be within arms reach of you if you're out. And always in the apartment with you."
Y/N opened her mouth as if to say something, but her aunt held up a finger, signaling that she wasn't finished speaking. "I've spoken to the landlord of your office, Bunny. As soon as you're cleared you can go back to work, but John will be there with you."
Y/N raised a brow. "Don't you think a random guy, no offense, John, just standing in the corner of my office is going to weird out some of my patients? Make them uncomfortable?"
Kate shrugged her shoulders and frowned. "I don't care about their feelings, Bunny. I care about you staying alive."
"It's my job, Aunt Kate," Y/N sighed.
Kate nodded, coming to sit on the arm of her chair. "I understand that, but your life is more important."
Y/N bit back a retort after seeing the look on her aunt's face - she'd seen that look plenty of times and she knew no one had ever won a battle against it. She sank back against the cushions of the chair, her arms crossed over her chest like a petulant child. "Fine."
Kate squared her shoulders, a grin curling her lips. "I'm glad to see you're taking this well."
"This is well?" John piped up quietly behind her.
Kate turned slightly. "This is her being easy. You've got your work cut out for you with this one, John."
John sighed. "I've taken down entire platoons of highly trained soldiers, Kate. I think I can handle a little woman."
Kate chuckled. "You've only just met Bunny. Don't underestimate her."
"Underestimate a Laswell," John murmured with a smirk. "Never."

Y/n nervously sat in her car outside the restaurant— nothing super fancy as she had asked thankfully. He had already told her he was inside, she was just trying to calm down, finally gathering herself, grabbing her bag, and walking inside. Telling the host she was meeting someone before they led her to the table.
Jeongin had set his phone down on the table as she joined him. “Hey.”
“Hi,” Y/n offered a smile as she sat down across from him.
“How are you doing?” He asked
“Okay? Kind of nervous honestly.” Y/n grabbed the cup of water in front of her and took a sip.
“Let's order then we can talk about it. How does that sound?”
Y/n agreed and picked up her menu. Scanning over the items for a few minutes before the waiter came over. Both putting in their orders and giving their menu’s to the waiter before they walked off. Sitting in an awkward silence for another minute.
“I’m not getting rid of the baby.” Y/n finally stated after a moment.
“I wasn’t going to make you,” Jeongin confirmed, “I know it was a one night stand and we barely know each other but I do want to at the very least co-parent this kid.”
“I can work with that,” Y/n nodded
Jeongin nodded, silence taking over the table again, “What do you do for work?” He asked
“I’m an editor for a online news outlet.”
     “You work with Seungmin, right?”
“Yeah. We were in a lot of the same classes in college but weren’t friends until after graduation and we ended up at the same company.”
     “Same department?”
“No. He works more in reporting and journalism. I’ve edited a couple of the stories they’ve let him published.”
     “He hasn’t published a lot?”
“No, (Astird)’s case was actually the first one they let him take on his own.”
“They didn’t think he was going to be bias on it?”
“I don’t think he told his boss she was his roommate. But even when I was editing it, you could barely tell he knew her. He’s very unbiased in reporting which is a good trait to have,” Y/n explained as her phone went off on the table next to her
Jihyun ❌: why aren’t you home?                   I know its your day off
     “Everything okay?” Jeongin asked
“Yeah, just a friend texting me,” Y/n brushed it off
“Do any of your friends know about you being pregnant?”
“Just my friend Hana, the one who was with me at the club.”
Jihyun ❌: Y/n
“Do any of your friends know?”     “I may have told all of them?”
     “How many is all?”
     “Five.”
     Y/n nodded
Jihyun ❌: when the hell did you turn your location off?                   answer me
“Do you need to take that?” Jeongin asked, seeing the constant light up of her phone from the text.
“No. It’s just me ex. He can deal with it?”
“When did you guys break up?”
“Almost a month ago. Hana ended up dragging me to a club to just get my mind off it.”
“Ah. So I was a rebound fuck,” Jeongin joked and it definetly made her laugh a bit.
“If you wanna look at it like that,” Y/n said, “I was more so looking to get drunk till I forgot but drunk me also is horny.”
     “Bad break up then?”
     “Yeah. It’s over now though.”
     “Good for you,” Jeongin smiled
“So, how are we gonna work out appointments and stuff?” Y/n asked, changing the subject
“I would like to be there for them but if you don’t want me there that’s fine. I also can already tell I might not be able to make it to all of them with work.”
     “You own you’re company, right?”
“Yeah. There’s certain meetings I can’t get out of.”
“I can try and schedule them as best I can to avoid that but I can always update you afterwards if it doesn’t work out.”
     “That works out for me.”
The waiter came back with their food and they both thanked them before eating. Other small talk continued throughout the meal, some regarding their lives, others regarding the baby. Jeongin paid at the end of the meal, walking out with her.
“Don’t be afraid the text me if you need anything, okay?” He told her, walking her over to her car
“I will, thank you,” Y/n said, unlocking her car.
Jeongin opened the door for her, “I mean anything. Even if it’s a weird pregnancy craving in the middle of the night.”
The two of them laughed as she set her bag down on the passenger seat. “I will.” Y/n assured him and took her seat.
Jeongin closed her door and waved her off as he walked to his own car. Y/n took out her phone, wanting to text her friend the good news till she remembered the messages— with new ones.

Ruin My Life
A/n: Technically anon requested and was gifted to me by someone who I very much adore @justhereforherbert 💙 (go read her entire Masterlist it is gold)
Hope you all like cheesy fiction
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For as long as you could remember, you’d always wanted one thing. There was one goal in mind and you were set out to do everything possible to achieve that goal. By the age of 5, you could play the piano and the guitar and your parents sent you to any and every theater camp imaginable to ensure you had all the tools needed to succeed. Being an actor full-time was hard. Your first role was as a background character in a show that was canceled after one season. Then there was a recurring role in a CW teen drama that only lasted two years. Finally, a year ago you had your big break, starring in your first feature film. Things were actually starting to come together.
“This press tour shouldn’t be too bad, especially for your first one. Of course we’re starting here in LA for the big premiere, then New York, London and we’ll do a stop in Paris. It’ll go by fast.” Your assistant Anna rambled on as you nodded your head without looking up from your phone. Justin had just left the facility and was on his way over.
“We have hair and makeup set. Your nail appointment is tomorrow at 2 and the final dress fitting is on Friday anytime in the afternoon.”
Placing the phone on the counter, you thanked her for keeping your life in order and let her know you wouldn’t miss anything this week. You’d only been looking forward to this your entire life.
“Now, I know your family RSVP’d a few days ago but are you sure you don’t want a plus one? I mean—oh. Speak of the handsome devil.”
The door opened and in walked the only person that could even be a potential plus one, in a dream world.
“Hi guys, I brought dinner.” He held up the bags and set them on the counter and nodded toward Anna’s iPad. “What are you two working on?”
You laughed to yourself as Justin and Anna settled in and immediately started eating as she scrolled through your schedule to get him up to speed. “Does everything look okay? Would you give it the Herbert stamp of approval?”
“I would…but there’s a question mark here by the plus one on your guest list for the premiere.” He pointed out.
Anna gave you a look, anxiously waiting to see where this was going. But she also realized she might not want to be here for this so before the conversation continued, all of her things were packed and she was out the door.
“Okay. Now that she’s gone, I can freely do this.” His lips were on yours immediately, a soft and delicate feel against your own left your breath catching in your throat. Sometimes when you kissed him it felt urgent, like you were operating purely on instinct and couldn’t get enough. This felt warm, reassuring…safe. Like the entirety of your relationship was wrapped up into one simple embrace. There is home here, there is love. Justin pulled away to catch his breath, running his thumb to smooth over your brow. “I’ve been thinking about some things. About us. We’ve been together for a while and it’s been the most amazing year and a half of my life and you mean the world to me. You know that, right?”
You nod, not knowing where he was going with this.
“I think—no. I know, I should be your plus one at the premiere.”
“Excuse me? Who are you and what the hell have you done with the real Justin?”
His lips curl into a slight smile, holding you at the waist to pull you close. “Look, I’m not saying I’m ready for the MET Gala or anything. But I do think that I should be there, by your side and support you like you’ve supported me. “We only share what we want. No hiding.”
“You’re right but I’m usually up in a box with a bunch of other people. Are you sure you’re comfortable with that? If we do this, there’s no going back. You barely post social media content that isn’t an ad, you really want to do a movie premiere with me? In public? Together?”
“Yes,” he urges, without breaking eye contact. He was actually being serious about this. “People are going to find out about us eventually, it should be on our own terms. That way we can control the narrative.”
It’s almost like you’re waiting for him to say he’s kidding. For as long as you’ve been together he’s always valued his privacy, it was something the two of you had in common. But maybe you could still be private without being hidden. “You’re a diabolical genius who’s getting a little too good at this media training thing,” you place both of your arms on his shoulders with a sigh, “then you flash those freaking dimples and you keep getting away with it. I’m onto you.”
“But seriously Justin, I want us to meet with Ashley and figure this out. The last thing I want to do is ruin your life.”
“Y/n,” he whispers. “You are stuck with me for the foreseeable future. We can do this.”
You let out a content hum as he presses a kiss to the side of your head, setting up a meeting with Ashley in the morning.
Three days later…
The nerves were definitely starting to kick in. You were desperately hoping not to trip or make a fool of yourself. All you had to do was walk down the carpet, smile for the cameras and go inside. It was the most simple yet stressful thing in the world.
Your boyfriend’s comforting hand found a place in your lap, bringing you back down to Earth. “You’re going to be incredible today. And this dress? Looks fucking incredible on you.”
It reminded you of the times you’d talked him off the ledge after a bad loss or helped nurse the bumps and bruises that inevitably accumulated during the season. In a few short months, you’d be doing it all over again. You were thankful that he could be your rock when you needed it. The car came to a stop just as you stepped out of your daydream. Before the door opened, you turned around and locked eyes with him, “let’s do this” he mouths, looking more confident than you could ever hope to be.
Y/n! Y/n! Over here!
Smile!
Is that Justin Herbert?
Y/n and Justin, look this way!
How long have you two been a couple?
He was the most solid presence the entire time, holding your hand and smiling for the camera at every turn. Then there were solo shots of you and pictures with the rest of the cast before entering the cinema.
“Justin we have to ask. You attended a movie premiere last week with a certain up and coming actress. How was that experience?” Daniel Popper of the Athletic asked at OTAs.
The quarterback laughs quietly before formulating a response. “Um yeah it was fun. I got to go in and watch my girlfriend’s movie in a room full of people who worked really hard on it. The movie was great and I had a great time. Thank you.”
“One follow-up question Justin. Y/n was on Jimmy Kimmel last night and said she could break down an NFL defense right now if she needed to. Do you two watch a lot of game film together?”
He recalled the exact moment Daniel was talking about because he’d been in the green room with Anna and the rest of your team watching the entire thing. “She’s probably right. During the season we do have to get creative with our quality time so I do go through some film with her so if it came down to it, she very well could dissect an NFL defense. I’ve definitely given her a lot of the information she needs.”
“I think that’s it. Thank you, Justin.”
“Thank you, guys.”
The only way this controlled chaos was working was because they did things their own way. No People Magazine exclusives or DeuxMoi anonymous tips and any and every interview you did had a “no ask” list or a limit was placed on the number of questions that could be asked about your relationship. Justin would rather die than have his every move documented on social media and there was no way in hell that you’d allow that to happen.
“There’s no way I would ever wear that.” He cringed at the phone, emphasizing his point. A small part of you wanted to laugh because he looked like a toddler on the verge of a temper tantrum but you really needed to focus.
“Well babe, unless Nike suddenly started making custom suits then you’re going to have to expand your horizons. If I can figure out the difference between cover one and cover two, then you can wear sunscreen every day and wear pants that aren’t khakis.”
Justin shrugged at the last part, “it’s not New York Fashion week I’m playing football. No one cares what I wear.”
“But for the Oscars, I’ll definitely make an exception, because we’re going.”
You sat up from your spot next to him and smiled. “I appreciate and adore your enthusiasm but let’s just be real here. I’ll be lucky if I get invited, let alone nominated. This isn’t some little award show, it's the freaking Oscars. Might as well be a shot in the dark.”
As much as you’d been hearing the whispers about your performance there was still some doubt. It was your first role on a stage this big and with all the changes in your personal and professional life, it was hard to assume that anything would go according to plan. But even though life continues to be unpredictable, you were sure about one thing. More like one person.
“Hey, look at me.” He smirks, sitting across from you so your knees are touching. Justin holds out his hands for you to hold and when you do he instructs you to close your eyes and take a deep breath. “Now we’re going to say positive things that we want to put out into the universe. You will get nominated for an Oscar.” He waits patiently for you to repeat him as you chew on the inside of your cheek.
“I will get nominated for an Oscar.”
“You will win.”
“I will win.”
“We will celebrate your win…together.”
“We will celebrate my win together. Now it’s your turn.”
The man chuckles and allows you to guide him this time. “You will get to the Super Bowl.”
“I will get to the Super Bowl.”
“You will win.”
“I will win.”
“We will celebrate together.” The two of you say simultaneously. “Looks like we’ve got work to do.” You tell him with a laugh.
He lets you scoot closer so you can lean your head on his shoulder. “And celebrations to look forward to.”
Silence washes over you as each of you think about your respective life plans. Award shows, Super Bowl parades and everything in between. The thought of walking alongside you through it all brought him inexplicable joy.
He broke the silence stating,“I may have lied to you before, you did ruin my life.”
His confession sent chills down your spine. “What? What do you mean, what happened?”
Justin wraps an arm around you, reaching down to kiss your forehead. “I thought I had everything figured out before I met you. Now, you’ve come in and flipped my entire world upside down. And I’ve never been happier. You’ve ruined me, in the best way. If you ever tell anyone I said that, I’ll deny it.”
“Don’t worry, your secret is safe with me. And for what it’s worth, I think you’ve ruined me too.”

If the face fits
Jily meet cute! ....well, this might be a meet ugly, but it's all I can think of. Based on a video I saw a while back, and I'll try to post it if I find it again. NSFW below the cut.
Lily hates the first day at a new gym.
Trying out a new gym is always a bit uncomfortable. There are rules and expectations that are common across every gym, of course, but each one has its own culture that you really can’t know until you walk in the door. What is the flow around the equipment? What is the acceptable time on a machine? Where is the best vantage point to check out the gym hotties?
Lily despises walking in without knowing what to expect, but she and Mary moved to this city a month ago, and running outside is only going to get her by for so long. She needs some actual gym equipment. So, she’s braving gym visits.
This one, Marauders Fitness (“We solemnly swear to get you swole!”) caught her eye. It’s run by four guys, each of whom are sexy in that sweaty-abs-on-display sort of way, if you’re someone who is into that sort of thing. (Lily… Lily was into that sort of thing). They offered a three-day visit pass, and this is Lily’s first day.
She is already feeling the distinct exhaustion in her underused muscle, knowing that she’ll be deliciously sore tomorrow. All she needs is to lift some weights, and she’ll be done.
She pulls out her phone to text Mary, who is stuck at work, as she sits down on the weight bench. Only, she doesn’t actually sit on the bench.
Lily turns to look and jumps up again, just in time to see a guy with messy hair sit up from where he had laid down on the bench. “Oh, oh my god. I’m so–”
She turns and runs. There’s really no other solution now, right? As much as she liked this gym, she can never, ever return. She honestly debates leaving her bag in the locker room, until she realizes her keys are in there, and she doubles back for it.
“Hey, wait a minute!”
She turns to see Mr. Messy Hair coming after her, jogging to catch up. “Nope, sorry. I have, um, an urgent appointment somewhere else. Across town. I have to go.”
“You can’t go yet,” he says, walking beside her as she continues toward the locker room.
“Yes, I can. Can’t be helped, must go.” She tries to walk a little faster, but this guy is tall and his long legs take big strides.
“Well, before you run out, at least give me your name and number.” He looks down at her with a smirk, and she pretends it doesn’t make her stomach swoop. “You wouldn’t just sit on my face and run, would you?”
Lily groans. “You did not just use that line.”
He laughs, and it’s such a full, happy sound. “It’s terrible, I know, but you can’t blame me. It’s like a once in a lifetime kind of a line.”
“Listen, about that, I’m really sorry–”
“NOPE!” He smiles as he cuts her off. “You don’t get to apologize for that. I think we were both a little at fault for that one, so if you apologize, I’m going to have to apologize, then you’ll think you have to apologize, and we’ll be stuck in a playback loop.”
Lily scoffs. “Maybe, but only one of us sat on the other’s face.”
“You’re really going to make me say it, aren’t you?” He crosses his arms over his chest, a playful tug to his lips.
“Say what?”
He leans in, like he’s sharing a secret. “I really didn’t mind it that much.”
Lily feels herself flush. “I really have to go.”
“No, come on. You didn’t even finish your workout!” He gestures back at the gym. “Why don’t you finish? I can help if you want.”
She narrows her eyes at him. “Was that another double entendre?”
His eyes go wide. “No. I mean, not intentionally. I just meant–” He sighs. “At least tell me you’ll come back?”
Lily laughs, and there’s a hysterical note to it. “No, absolutely not.”
“What if I throw in free personal trainer services?”
She glares at him. “Do these services involve you laying on my weight bench?”
“No, I promise.” He waves over her shoulder. “I’ll even set it up with Sirius so you don’t have to deal with me.”
She looks over her shoulder at three guys who are still standing by The Weight Bench (an incident like that deserves a Proper Title), grinning like they enjoy watching this train wreck. One of them–Sirius, presumably–waves back.
It’s only then that the realization lands hard in her stomach. She’s seen this guy before. All of them. “Oh my god. You’re the owner?” She walks past him, a bit in a daze. “I just sat on the gym owner’s face.”
“It was a new experience for me, too.” He follows her as she walks back toward the locker room. “I’m James, by the way.”
“Lily,” she says, but she’s hardly paying attention.
“Are you still going to leave, Lily?”
A hysterical bubble of laughter pops out. “I should. I should move all the way back to my parents’ house and climb under my Barbie blanket and just give up.”
“You could,” James says. “Or there’s another option and–I might be a bit biased, but I think it’s a better option.”
“What’s that?” she asks, turning to face him.
“Go on a date with me?” He’s really very cute when he smiles, glasses a little lopsided (that might be her fault) and a crooked grin. He holds his hands up in surrender. “Face sitting optional.”
Lily laughs. She can’t help it; it’s just the most ridiculous thing to ever happen in her life. She holds up a finger. “One condition.”
“Anything,” he says.
“Please stop mentioning face sitting.”

blurb of like Dallas doing a day in the life of a married 20 year old still in college
“Good morning,” Dallas yawns, holding her phone up at an angle to catch her untamed, morning hair. Rolling over, she captures Nick who is nestled into her side. His face moves to the crook of her neck and his limbs are thrown over her body.
“He’s such a sleepy baby,” she giggles, carding her fingers through his hair. She abruptly stops when he stirs.
“Who are you talking to?” He mumbles, face moving and burrowing into her chest.
“TikTok,” at Dallas’ words, Nick looks up at the camera to see her recording. He eventually decides he doesn’t care and falls right back to sleep
“Today is a busy day, so unfortunately I have to get up!”
Dallas forces herself out of bed and her husband’s arms. She gets so fluttery on the inside when she remembers that they’re officially married.
She sets up her phone on the bathroom counter while she brushes her teeth and does her skincare.
“So today we have no classes, thank god! I literally cannot fathom having to go to an 8 am. Pro tip: don’t sign up for morning classes because they’ll kick your ass,” she informs while rubbing her moisturizer into her face.
“Anyways back to the agenda, I have to go to a ton of fabric stores, because I just know I won’t find all of what I’m looking for at a singular location. I have an appointment to get my last name changed to Moldenhauer, and then I have to go to the store and buy different necessities. Oh, I also have a pilates class and a test to take, so today should be busy to say the least,” Dallas lists off the different things on her agenda.
She quickly goes into her makeup routine, showing off her favorite products that she uses everyday.
“Wait!” Nick blurts out, scurrying into the restroom with only his underwear on. She’ll have to blur it out later. He hugs her from behind, his arms wrapping around her neck and requests a kiss before she puts on lip gloss.
“I’m going with you, so just let me get ready. I’ll be like 10 minutes,” he says against her lips, a hand coming up to caress her cheek.
Dallas nods her head and kisses him again.
“I love you, husband.” Her cheeks grow red and her eyes turn into hearts.
“I love you, wife.” She wants to jump around and scream; she loves him so much.
-
“We’re here at one of my favorite thrift stores. I usually buy left over fabrics or pieces of clothing that I can incorporate into a different piece. Right now I have over half of my list, which is actually so relieving,” Dallas talks fast while giving an overview of the different things in her basket.
She continues to walk around until she finds Nick looking through a pile of old umich merch.
“Baby, look at this jacket. You’d look so hot in it, especially if you’re wearing your leather pants and those little kitten heels,” Nick announces the outfit he’s picturing in his head.
He holds up the vintage looking, windbreaker with a smirky smile. He drops his eye in a wink and the girl has to stop recording, so she can kiss her husband.
“You’re so hot,” she mutters into his mouth. Her fingers card through his hair, and she has a hard time not pulling him into the restroom at the back of the store.
“Back to our regularly scheduled program, Nick is almost a better thrifter than I am. He, not only found two of the fabrics I was looking for, but some statement pieces for some game day fits. He learned from the best,” she whispers into the mic of her phone as she records Nick showing off what he found. He’s so proud of himself and it’s the cutest thing ever.
“I think I deserve a kiss for all my hard work,” Nick hums and pulls his wife into his chest.
They share a sweet kiss that’s interrupted by their giggling and wide smiles. They do a little kiss for the camera and Dallas knows she’s so insanely lucky to have him by her side.
-
Dallas pulls Nick away from the camera, getting him to spin her around. She burns red with the way his eyes focus on her and the way she twirls around. She truly feels like the only girl in the world when she’s with Nick.
Dallas strikes a pose and Nick falls in line without even being told. They show off their outfits and do a little dance together.
“I think everyone should leave a compliment, telling her how beautiful and sexy and hot she is. But she’s mine!” Nick jokes. Well, Dallas thinks it’s a joke, but knowing him, he’d probably get jealous of the comments.
“No one leave comments about my husband, because he’s mine and no one else can look at him,” Dallas counters Nick’s words, giving her man a glimpse of her very well hidden jealousy. Even if it’s a joke, she wants him to know that she can also match his possessiveness. Not that he minds.
Nick flashes a smirk at the camera and cops a squeeze of her ass, making her gasp and turn her backside away from the camera.
“You all did not see that,” she says through a laugh.
Her hockey player doesn’t care, though, so he slaps her ass and kisses on her neck until she’s squirming.
-
“I’m so excited! I have been looking forward to this all day. We’re here at our local courthouse to file paperwork to change my last name. It’s the reason why I’m wearing slacks and a button up; i have to look professional. Since I’m only 20, I’ve received a lot of hate for being married already.”
“It’s bull. She should not be getting any hate for being in love. People who have something bad to say are just jealous,” Nick chimes in, putting an appreciative smile on his wife’s face.
She finds herself smiling a lot since meeting him and since marrying him.
The camera pans to the doors of the courthouse and their intertwined hands. Her pearl ring and floral engraved band shine in the sun.
“Hi, June Blankenburg. I’m here to file the required paperwork to change my last name.”
Now Nick’s holding the camera, flipping it back and forth between Dallas and his excited reaction.
“I can’t believe the love of my life is changing her last name to mine. I can’t believe I get to be married to her for the rest of my life,” he whispers, camera pointed at his wife as she hands over her paperwork.
“Soon I’ll officially be June Dallas Moldenhauer on every legal document! I’m so excited,” Dallas cheers, holding up her ring finger as she skips over to Nick.
They share one last kiss before she stops recording for the moment.
-
“Hi, beautiful people in my phone. You might be noticing that it’s later in the day as the sky is dark. I just got out of my pilates class, hence the sweat. I couldn’t vlog because I had to hurry and eat before my test, and then my test ran longer than expected so I had to rush to my workout class. I’m on my way to the sophomore house for dinner. It’s actually one of our last dinners before the school year ends, so that’s kind of sad,” Dallas rants breathlessly, phone capturing her sweaty face and messy updo.
“D!” Multiple hockey boys cheer in unison upon seeing her walk up the driveway.
Baby duke is on the grill and the others are just hanging around.
“Hello, Mrs. Moldenhauer,” Nick grins, pulling her into a hug.
The boy holds onto her camera, so it can film them kissing once again.
“Get a room!” Rutger yells, but comes up to the couple to bring them into a group hug.
“Everyone say hi to Rutger, he’s our son,” Dallas jokes which earns her a playful eye roll from the boy.
Dallas moves away from him, dragging Nick with her inside the house. She takes a look around the surprisingly clean area and the boys who are lounging around.
“Wow! It’s so sparkly in here,” she teases, getting sarcastic laughs in response.
“We knew Mrs. Moldenhauer was coming over and that she’d have our heads if it wasn’t clean,” Luca muses.
“Awww. You all love me,” she gives Luca a tight hug.
“Say hi to the vlog,” she turns the camera to his face.
“Help me, she’s holding me hostage,” Luca screams, making her push him away with a full belly laugh.
She moves with Nick to any empty spot on the couch. She easily falls into his lap with his chin resting on her shoulder.
“It’s time to say bye. I hope you all enjoyed seeing what a day in my life looks like. It’s definitely chaotic, but it’s also comforting. I need to eat and spend time with my family. Bye, have a good night!” Dallas says and blows air kisses to those watching her behind their screens.
a/n: This is a little longer than a blurb, but enjoy!!!

Step by step guide to redeeming your girlfriends
Plot, basically: Canon! Chloenette meets Reverse! Chloenette. Dedicated to @generalluxun ! Thank you for the motivation, I will now make them go through Scooby Doo levels of chasing and mystery solving (coughs identity reveal coughs)
Chapter One: Is it kidnapping if I thought we were dating?
The sky has visibly darkened during lunchtime. It wasn't the normal rainy sky though. People were scrambling to get inside or find cover as it was most likely an akuma attack. It was strange, however, that the signal never went off nor were there any explosions nearby. There wasn't even a ridiculously dressed villain with their monologue about getting revenge and obtaining the miraculous.
It was quiet. Suspiciously too quiet.
A bolt of lightning flashed on the darkened sky, the dark purple color leaving a web like structure in its path. Okay, that definitely was not normal.
Chloe was sure it was another Akuma and judging from the last one Ladybug and Chat Noir had to face, they were getting ridiculously more strong as time passes. Which doesn't worry her. After all, Ladybug never trusted her completely to wield another miraculous again so why give a damn about her anymore.
The world shook and she unconsciously switched on her TV to the news.
Nadja was reporting on the strange phenomenon currently happening while the purple lightning continued to flash and leave even more intricate patterns.
Chloe pursed her lips in thought. Ladybug had already enlisted a lot of new (temporary) heros since they faced off against Shadow Moth. She won't be outnumbered or lacking in minions if ever.
She sighed, frustration starting to bubble inside her, "Everything would be easier if she would just let me be Queen Bee!"
"You've got a point," a voice said from behind, "but Queen Bee is rather distracting during battles, 'no?"
Before she could scream at the sudden intrusion of a very familiar looking person, she was swept off her bed and was falling down from her balcony, a set of familiar and ridiculously strong arms wrapped around her securely.
Shit.
She was tapping her foot impatiently, the sound echoing against the room they were in. Claw was leaning by the wall, his knowing glance darting from her to the other occupant of the room who was very much unconscious.
"You scared the shit out of her. You have such a lame type in women," he casually tilted his head, narrowly avoiding a metal ball to his face. Rolling his eyes, he stretched out his muscles earning a disgusted sound from his partner and a laugh from him.
"Careful, your softness for her is showing," she scoffed, her arms crossed as she looked at the blonde. "I am not soft, you fucking piece of vomit."
"I told you, my hair is not that damn vomiting emoji! The shade is different!"
"Whatever," she walked to the unconscious blonde and with a soft tug, managed to lift her head up to a more comfortable position. She looked peaceful, her mouth slightly parted as she let out soft snores.
Even in a different universe, the sight of her still made her go speechless.
Which got her confused. This universe's Chloé looks very similar to her Chloé, just with more yellow than soft pink and white, so why,
"Why is she taking so damn long?" She hissed as Claw shrugged, who was looking down at his manicure and let out a 'tsk'. He needed to get an appointment, soon.
"Maybe because you're not together in this universe," he supplied after a moment, "maybe you're in love with me instead."
"That's one of the worst things you've ever said to me and I want to strangle you right now."
Claw shivered, "Agreed. Agree to never speak about that again."
A figure sighed as she shut her bug phone. Gazing at a familiar tower, she idly wonders if she should wait for them to arrive or continue searching for the person she needs. Deciding to do the latter, she jumps off the roof into the night sky.
Ladybug almost crashed into the hotel room, Chat Noir not far behind. After getting a call from a very distraught mayor and with the sky turning an unusual purple, she had a sinking feeling it was another powered up Akuma. This Akuma hasn't showed their face yet, but Chloé's disappearance was alarming.
"She's not here," she whispered after quickly darting inside the suite. Chat Noir voiced his affirmative and gave her a worried look, "The Akuma must have already taken her but..." Chat frowned, "Unless it had a personal vendetta against Chloé, it's unusual of them to stay hidden."
Ladybug sighed. This was going to be a long day.
Notes: It's divided because the author hasn't decided if this should be a short, fluffy funny fic or dive into possible 'getting therapy from yourself of a different multiverse because it's like talking to one of the voices in your head'. Enjoy!
