why are you their manager

you, the cute and shy and innocent not wittle first year, somehow became the manager of the powerhouse volleyball team of inarizaki high

it all started with our dear lovely samu

hehe bet you didnt see that coming

now we all know baby samu literally is the biggest foodie in the team and he constantly thinks about food 24/7 therefore there isnt much room in there for anything else except for volleyball

basically,

the dude loves to eat

it just so happens that you made food

your family owned a cafe down the street from the school and you worked there after school to help your parents

now how does this tie in with samu you ask

this chile was so hungry that he had to skip practice

sending kita a quick text about doing a quick errand, he walked down the street on the hunt for a quick place to grab a bite

he totally ignored kita’s warning of cramps if he ate a lot then practiced but whatever food is life

it just so happens he stumbles upon your family’s cafe

when he entered, the smell of bread and food entered his nostrils causing this baby to just float right in

you were manning the register while your brother was at school so you smiled at the incoming figure of this familiar boy

and because you recognized him, you couldnt help but grin and gasp a little

you exclaimed and osamu was confused because he’s never seen you before but he thought you were probably a kouhai in school

you looked young and definitely not a face he’s seen before so he concluded you were most likely a first year

you raised an eyebrow

‘rin. suna rin is in the team and hes from tokyo so he sounds like a standard city boy. ill take ya to meet him sometime’

he wanted to keep you away from the others as much as possible, especially his brother, because he was a greasy mf

but that didnt really work out into plan because you approached him in school the other day

you saw him and you hurriedly ran to him where he stood with his twin and some guy

tsumu saw you coming from behind his brother and he smirked before nodding at you

‘samu, ya got a girlie running for ya’

samu turned, confused, until he saw your adorable face

‘you left your team jacket, miya-senpai’

the red jacket was clutched in your hands and the two boys behind him shared a surprised look because osamu never mentioned a girlfriend

and with the way you were holding his jacket, the two boys immediately jumped into conclusions

like samu, he asked you to call him by his first name too since you were close to his friend therefore should try being close to you too

speaking of samu, him and atsumu reduced the violence to just bickering and they were still teasing each other even after you and suna talked

the coochi bangs boy rolled his eyes then slapped atsumu’s arm to gain their attention

‘yo. theres a girl here. try and be nice and civil’

atsumu seems like he forgot your existence because his eyes brightened at the sight of you

you nervously smiled at him because his hyperness and overall atsumu-ness was quite overwhelming

you shouted, getting his attention that made him whip his head up

the blank face contorted into a small smile and he raised a hand

when you made it next to him, you were grinning really big and samu felt flustered at your happy face

so he cupped your chin with his large hand that allowed him to squeeze both cheeks

but the loud mouth tsumu saw you guys as you turned a hallway

you were busy talking to osamu about some cooking chef guy gordon and he was nodding and talking but then he heard a loud shout

osamu babie didnt know what was happening so he protectively placed an arm in front of you and hurriedly shoved you behind him in case something happened

duh you didnt know what was happening either so you were clutching his jacket and peeked from his arm to see atsumu stomping over with suna trailing behind him, seemingly texting on his phone

osamu lazily glared at his brother

atsumu blanched and sped walk faster until he was right in front of him to yell

you furrowed your eyebrows

you tugged at his jacket and osamu turned to peer down at you and he gulped, preparing himself to hear your scolding

it wasnt the first time you scolded him as you just told him off the other day for not eating enough vegetables and fruits to balance out his unhealthy love for onigiri and sweets

‘samu-senpai,,, you told me you guys were taking an off week. why are you skipping practice today’

you were genuinely worried and you didnt seem to understand why he did that but the other two did and atsumu didnt hesitate

poor suna is just watching this go down and he felt bad that you were caught in the middle

so he suggested a compromise

you watched sunarin push atsumu’s chest to make him back off and he gently smiled at you before looking at the two

‘how about we all go to practice and if y/n-chan wants, she can wait and osamu can spend time with her when hes done? besides, atsumu, you know osamu has been doing good on his spikes. maybe we can persuade coach and kita to let him off early since hes,,, quote unquote,, ‘sick’’

osamu debated but you emerged from behind him

you just wanted him to go to practice because you knew now of how important volleyball was to the school and they needed to get all their time and energy to win the sport

atsumu agreed to this plan but osamu was forced to accept it

you were chiding him of course because why would he waste time with spending time with you

as much as they loved the underclassmen, watching them get told off by kita was too funny to not watch

but what caused them to curiously peer behind the three was the appearance of a girl

you mumbled absentmindedly and samu looked at you at the corner of his eye before scoffing

your face was totally bright red and your eyes were super wide

atsumu lowered his voice down but he didnt tell the captain of his brother’s plans to skip

‘he has a stomachache and he was at the nurse’s office’

suna smoothly came up with a lie and he might look cool and calm, his hands were clasped behind him with it clenching his phone

your eyes left kita to notice that habit and you had a small smile because it was another reassurance that these boys werent as high and legendary as everyone made them to be

in the end they were still just students and boys

aran finally bit the bullet and asked the question everyone has been wondering since the beginning

both you and samu stiffened at the direct question to you but he nodded

you looked between the twins and their friend before speaking up

well, during matches, you as their manager, always have to tell the stands to be quiet when atsumu is serving

but no one told you this

you kind of figured it out during your time like when his eye would twitch if samu was talking to suna too loudly or when he would close his eyes to shut off his hearing because of the loud spikes on the other side

you noticed it

so you would go to the stands and nicely tell them that if they see atsumu serving, to be quiet

‘i understand you are all excited when he does his serve but we would all benefit more you could release that excitement inside and silently’

as a player, suna is seen as really manipulative and snarky and witty

he loves to poke fun at the other team, even his own, and just all-around annoying

but off-court

suna is a very quiet and reserved person

totally different from the one who talks and yaps constantly to the other side of the net

and hes a really pure person in some topics

like he would turn red when you would compliment his new picture that he posted in inasgram

PLEASE SUNA IS TOTALLY A PHOTOGRAPHER LIKE HE TAKES PICTURES OF SUNSETS AND STUFF

or when you would offer to bandage him up for him because it’s hard to do it himself and your hand would touch his

dont tell anyone this but suna is very relieved that you and samu weren’t dating

okay so kita is the captain, right?

but he doesnt play

like he plays rarely and aran is usually the on-court captain

this causes you and him to be at the sidelines a lot

he would tell you what he thinks would happen next or what the next plan should be and you would provide your own input

in a way, he was the one who really taught you the mechanics of volleyball and he would tell you the different tricks that techniques that the twins came up with

what makes you really soft and fall for him is when he starts to compliment his players

his pride in aran for being one of the top aces that has led them to nationals

his pride in mimi for being able to go on the longest on court and not be tired

his pride on akagi for being able to receive each ball and successfully give it to their setter

his pride on hitoshi for being the one who could handle the team personality wise and his plans for him to be his successor

his pride on ATSUmu for being the best setter he’s ever seen and his drive to get better no matter what

his pride on samu for being so strong and still getting stronger despite his dream career to be something not volleyball-related

his pride on sunA being motivated enough to help the team and make sure everyone knows that every ball can be stopped

like pls you almost cry all the time when you hear kita saying that because he seems to not say it to the others but only to you

it makes you happy that kita relies so much on these guys as much as they rely on him

OH MY GOSH OMIMI

okay

so omimi ren is a very quiet and calm character

hes kinda like suna where they dont really say much but when they do, its usually important and not irrelevant like atsumu

and he didnt say much when you got inducted in the team as a manager

like he just stared at you and you were just like o.o

ngl he did scare you a bit bc of his tall height looming over you and the way his dark eyes just pierces you through your soul

hes the type that you cannot willingly tell a lie to him bc you know he will find out one way or another

he can see right through you

maybe thats what makes him such a good middle blocker

but you started to warm up to him really quick and he would sometimes walk you home if the others cant mainly bc he knows his appearance will make anyone back off

its the simple things that make you appreciate him

the twins are the annoying ones who causes trouble, suna is the one taking pictures and evidence while cheering them on, and hitoshi is the one trying to break it up

i think that hitoshi is really the worst out of the 4 and he keeps in because who else would be the responsible one of the bunch

hello? they were about to be third years next year like are we really gonna go on with possibly a miya twin or suna being captain?

so he tries to force down his inner chaos to take on the role of the responsible one

you try to release that inner chaos

you sometimes hear him egging on atsumu under his breath like ‘do it’ but quietly so no one hears him

at first, duh he was also like that with you but you want him to be himself and be comfortable with you so you work hard to make him open up

you stared down at hitoshi from your bedroom window with a confused expression

so akagi is the libero of the team and he is the one responsible for the make sure the ball doesnt touch the ground type of thing

you get really worried about him bc he does a lot of flying saves and his knees always get roughed up and such

so you try and stitch him up as much as you can like you even send him sites for good warm packs to buy

something that isnt known about akagi is that he, like atsumu, really likes to cook

but more like

he bakes

he bakes as a stress reliever and its like his meditation time

you go over to his house a lot to go bake something w him and share it to the guys later on

during ina get-togethers, him and samu are in charged of the food while youre the sous chef

SPEAKING OF SAMU

it was all thanks to him

because of him, you became a manager despite your initial refusal to become one again

you made friends with more people and you were able to have a fun high school life because of it

because of him

osamu does get a little sad or irritated whenever the guys start to hog you up

he wants to be the better twin lmao

he gets really butthurt when you would go to someone else even during the middle of your conversation

like he would be talking to you on the side but suna calls you over for tape and youre going

he pouts and atsumu teases him about it causing him to bark at him

okay so training camp

i think therell be an imagine for this so ill try to not make it as detailed

lets just say its a mess

suna really wants to go hiking bc he wants to go the top of the mountain for pictures of the stars and stuff

but atsumu whines of the bugs and possible creatures in there

this causes osamu to tease him and call him a coward and a wimp

and leads to a fight which aran tries to break up but gets sucked in anyways

and omimi just stands by and watches but he intends to intervene if it gets too much

then akagi gets taken by suna to go the hike with him even though hes scared of bugs so hes whimpering and complaining

while kita and hitoshi are off in the kitchen talking about new grains of flour and stuff

where are you?

she smiled before waddling over to the door so she could talk to you

7 months since the lockdown was established. 7 months of being carefull with your own health. 7 months since your boyfriend had just decided to proclaim your apartment as his own.

You knew about Dabi's life style and "job". After all, is all plastered on the news, journals and internet about the rank B villain. Yet you didn't care. You loved him ... even despite him being a ass.

"Dabi!" You moaned, slamming the fridge closed "Dont leave just a freacking bit of milk on the carton!" You shouted, prefering to not hear the laugh coming from the bathroom of your apartment.

"Asshole..." you mumbled while sitting on the couch as your boyfriend got out of the shower, shaking his head similiar to a dog with only a towel covering his waist... You couldn't help but look.

Turquoise eyes suddenly locked with yours and you felt yourself grow hot immediately in embarrassment at being caught staring at him. He smirked devilish at your flustered persona.

"Like what ya see dollface?" For good measure he opened one of his arms, drops of water clinging on his scarred and healthy skin; one hand still holding onto the towel to not reveal his package.

This could wait until a bit.

"Nothing that I never saw before." You snorted as you heard Dabi's laugh, entering on the bedroom.

"Yet you're still anxious about sucking and grabbing onto it."

"DABI!" you yelled, his laughter echoing in the apartment as you groaned in your hands. Feeling the couch shift and him supporting his chin on your shoulder.

He had the same smirk as always when you poked your eyes out, rolling your eyes at him.

"You're a jerk." He snorted before kissing your temple.

"You paid for this when you accepted dating this jerk." He trailed his kisses down to you ear, his wet and indigo hair brushing on your skin as your lips broke on a smile at the treatment he was giving to you.

Tsking, you picked the remote and shoved his face away playfully as he grumbled.

"What do you want to watch? Maybe I can do some popcorn for us as well." You mused as he let out a shrug and laid his head on your lap.

"Anything is good doll. Your choice." He said nonchantly, dropping his head on your lap, crossing his arms behind his head you scoffed playfully.

"So now my thighs are pillows for your lazy ass?" You arched one eyebrow up but with a smile present as he opened one of his eyes. Stoic face present.

"I rather be between them rather them on top but hey, they are good pillows though." He let out a monotomous "ouch" when you flipped his head before chuckling lowly, grabbing your hand on his to bring to his half scarred and health lips to give a kiss on your knuckle.

"Flirting to get yourself out huh?" You smiled, bringing his hand to your cheek as he carresed it with his thumb.

"It works, doesn't it?"

He turned his head on your lap as soon as he heard some documentary about Stain's on. You only chuckled at how interested he was towards the ex vigilante and villain, combing your finger through his semi wet indigo hair.

You didn't payed much attention to the T.v as you untangled some knots on his hair... he hummed in silent apreciation at your attics, closing his eyes just for a bit before he opened them again, sorta, to get back to watching.

While traveling your fingers through his indigo hair, you furrowed your eyebrows at seing some... red (or white I dunno your choice) roots. You let out a confused sound as you started to notice more roots that differ from the pitch black color of his hair.

"You're acting like a monkey doll." His gruff and scratchy voice grumbled, just sounding like he was on the verge of sleep.

"Is just... Dabs?" You poked his shoulder before he grumpily turned his body to look up at you.

"Eh..?"

"You... have red(white) hair naturally?" You pulled gently as he widened his eyes, his staples tugging at his skin "You dye your hair since when?" You giggled at him as his adam apple trembled yet body never moving from his tense state.

"Dabi?" You asked, playfull side gone as you saw his distress state as he rubbed the back of his head while getting up to go to see himself on the mirror.

"Dabi!" You got up and followed him to see him tugging on his hair, hateful glare towards the roots on his hair and with his free hand started to search for something.

"Hey!" You grabbed his wrist and he snarled at you before he relaxed just a bit at seing your worried state "Dabi... What's wrong?"

An uncomfortable silence got on the bathroom as he looked away from your face, stoic as usual... You sighed, letting go of his wrist to cup his damaged cheek.

"You know what? Never mind." You spoke gently, making his blue eyes go back to yours in doubt "You dont need to talk about it if you don't want to."

His fingers clenched on yours as he let out a heavy sigh. Looking at you with sorrow.

"... I cant hide this from you forever..." you furrowed your eyebrows as he lead you to your guys bedroom... talking about the whole thing.

To say you were horrified was a understatement. When he finished he had his arms crossed while leaning on the doorframe as you stood sitted on the end of the bed with your jaw open.

"... so?" He suddenly spoke "Say something... anything. Hell yell and get out even."

You got up and his muscles tensed... yet he wasn't prepared for the impact he was hit with as his met the floor. His torso being wrapped up in your arms as your face burried in his neck.

"How could he..?" Was your broken whisper as the embrace you had on him tighten.

His eyes were wide as his lips were parted in shock. His arms stood awkwardly in the air before lowering them and putting his chin on your shoulder, still in shock.

Despite him being a villain, having a even darker past than you imagined and with a fucked up family... you were still embracing him tightly.

"I could handle on my own at least..." came his hoarse and forced chuckled before he felt you shift to look up at him.

"Dabi you handled this in the past but not anymore okay? You may be an asshole-" he grumbled before you cupped hsi cheek to make him look properly at you "But you're the asshole I fell in love with. You're my boyfriend. And for me, you dont need to be perfect... because you are already for me. With all the flaws, destructive quirk... who cares? You're Dabi... My Dabi."

My... that word ringed on his head as he stared in awe down at you before tilting his head down at you with a serene smile.

"Which stupid movie you got that from (Y/n)?"

"You.. YOU JERK!" You shoved his face as he let out a laugh "EVEN AFTER ALL OF THIS YOU STILL ACT LIKE A DAMN JERK!" you shouted even more as his arms wrapped around you even as you squirmed on him, the bastard still laughing.

"Cmon doll~" he manage between chuckles as you tried to push him away.

"Oh no no no! Get off of me bastard! You ruined the mood!" A smile started to creep on your lips since Dabi's laughter always made sure you at least giggled along with him, didn't matter what.

He rested his forehead on your shoulders, still letting out a few chuckles as his arms holded you close by the waist, bodies almost glued to each other.

"I love you dammit." He chuckled as you froze, eyes widening as he still chuckled and embrace never broken.

You looked at his indigo hair, roots present as always as you softened your gaze at your boyfriend. Arms coming up to hug him finally back.

"I love you more..."

The rest of the team was left in various levels of shock. Everyone was struggling to process the bomb of information that had just been revealed. With hindsight, it was easy to connect the strange levels of tension and intimacy that radiated between you and Hotch. What was more difficult to swallow, was the new understanding that Hotch had been keeping this secret for nearly five years. Random ‘trips’ that Hotch would take out of state or the subtle sprinkles of wealth showing up in the form of gifts suddenly made sense.

This was completely uncharted territory for the entire team. Given Hotch’s history, it wasn’t too difficult to understand how protective he may be of any relationships post-Haley; but the magnitude of your relationship- both in terms of your status as well as length-, and the withholding of information even on the case was a different form of betrayal that couldn’t be kicked under the rug.

Hotch had always been one of the fiercest advocates for unity, truth and an equal playing field when it came to information concerning a case,- Morgan was still feeling second hand embarrassment for Jordan- for him to be the one to hold back such influential info was difficult to fully wrap their heads around. Anger, of course, was felt and there would certainly be time for that anger- not even getting started on the amount of questions everyone was bound to have-, but as the team was silently processing, they all reached similar conclusions. Hotch was displaying a softness and side of him they hadn’t seen in a very long time and they wouldn’t let their valid frustrations get in the way of solving this case.

Morgan was the first to speak, pulling his phone out of his pocket. “I need to text Garcia about this.” He said, shaking the phone a bit. Everyone managed to laugh at that, all certain that Garcia would have the most interesting reaction to the news.

“You know…, the other day when she was giving me a tour of her house, I pointed out a bottle of Dalmore 25 she had on the wall. She got really weird about it and I thought she was trying to play modest, but this, this makes a lot more sense.” JJ remarked lightheartedly.

“So now we know Hotch has some game then, huh?” Morgan quipped, a large grin on his face. When everyone just stared blankly back at him, even more confused than they already were he continued. “Do you all not remember when he ‘magically’ got a bottle of Dalmore 45, those start at twelve grand”

Reid was about to open his mouth and add to the conversation, but just as the words were leaving his mouth Hotch stormed back into the conference room. One hand was tightly balled in a fist while the other was gripping his phone.

“She’s not answering her phone. Three times, it went straight to voicemail.”

“She isn’t on set today, when she left this morning she told me she had work related errands to run.” Emily recounted, racking her brain for any more info about your whereabouts.

Hotch strode over to an open laptop at the edge of the table, quickly hitting a series of buttons until a very flustered Garcia appeared on screen; her mouth dropping open when she saw Hotch.

“Questions later Garcia,” Hotch opened, already anticipating that someone Derek would have informed her of the latest news, “I need you to track Y/N. I want her current and last location.”

“Yes sir! I uh, I will do that right now for you.” Garcia responded, clearly doing her best to hold back the hoard of questions and comments she had. The sound of her vigorously typing filled the room. “Alright sir, so the bad news is that it looks like her phone is currently turned off, but! The last place it pinged at was outside of Chateau Marmont about three hours ago. Which for those of you who don’t know this place is notorious for being the A-lister hideaway-”

“Garcia, do a wide search for her name and location for today’s date. Check to see if there’s been any media sightings on her whereabouts.” Hotch ordered. He hadn’t forgotten how uneasy it had made him once he found out how easy it was to locate you. Paparazzi were a different form of ruthless and he’d never realized how difficult it actually was for people in the spotlight until he met you.

“Let me see…, yes sir you are right! I’m getting a bunch of hits of her entering the-” Garcia’s sentence falling off with an ‘oh’.

“Garcia, what’d you find?”

A headline popped up on the screen.

“Emma Co-Stars Pictured Together Out At Lunch: Has The Love Moved Past The Screen?”

Underneath, multiple photos of you quickly loaded. There you were, cheerily standing next to your co-star, looking up at him with a big grin on your face. The photos showed the two of you in different positions as you made your way inside. A few of him as he opened the car door for you. One of you with your arm wrapped loosely around his while you walked up the door. One of you ducking under his arm as you entered the restaurant.

The tension in the room was palpable as everyone did their own mini attempt at profiling the photo. It was difficult, you’d clearly proven to be a great actress and they knew you were capable of manipulating your outward emotions. It was even more difficult considering it was just a handful of mediocre quality photos.

Hotch was tightly gripping the edge of the table, forcing himself to keep a level head. He knew it was unreasonable to get angry over the idea of you with another man, but it didn’t help the pang in his heart as he recognized the genuine signs of happiness you were emitting.

“JJ,” Hotch said, voice dangerously calm, “call the restaurant and have them discreetly tell Y/N that ‘Andi’ is calling her.” Discretion was the highest priority for him, the envelope being even further confirmation that the unsub was closely trailing you. The last thing he wanted to do was either trigger a violent reaction or cause him to go underground.

Back when the two of you had been together, out of an abundance of caution, you used to refer to Aaron as ‘Andi’ in public. You hated not being able to thank him in speeches or mention him in any capacity, so this had been your best way around it.

“Yes sir.” JJ responded, quickly moving out of the room to make the phone call.

“Garcia, do you have any leads on the kid that dropped off the envelope?” Hotch asked.

“No sir. The car he left in was reported stolen a few days ago with no leads as to where it went. Camera feeds loose the car about three blocks away and his face was too obstructed to get any hits that way.”

“Alright, once JJ comes back with confirmation Y/N’s gotten the message, I’m going to pick her up. I want the rest of you to work with Garcia and categorize these photos. Cross reference whatever you can to get a timeline.” Hotch ordered, the rest of the team not being to be told twice.

“Where the hell are you?” Aaron demanded.

Even through the phone, you could tell he was absolutely seething. It was bad, by the time you had picked up the phone you’d amassed a total of twenty texts and nearly ten missed calls from Aaron; not even mentioning the individual missed calls you had from each member of the team. It was bad, but in your defense it had been less than an hour from the first missed call to your current response.

What could you say? You were big on not being on your phone when you were spending time with friends.

“What do you mean, where the hell am I,” you answered, rolling your eyes as you leaned up against one of the private bathroom countertops. “How did you describe it before Agent? I’m very in ‘demand’.”

You could hear him groan through the phone and wondered if he was running his hands over his face; something he used to always do when you were being difficult; he absolutely was.

“Y/N-”

“I’m on a date.” You responded flatly. The other end of the line went silent. As you were debating whether or not you should add the part about it being a publicity date, Aaron’s voice came through.

“End it. I’m picking you up. The drive there from the station shouldn’t be more than 30 minutes.” Aaron said, his voice dangerously even.

“I’m perfectly capable of getting back to the station on my own Agent. I don’t need you stirring up an absolute scene-”

“Y/N,” he started, voice commanding in a way that told you he was serious, “a package was delivered to the station today. Filled with hundreds of photos of you over the years,” he paused again and you could hear him take a deep breath before continuing, “there’s photos of us in there. The unsub knows.”

You went silent, mouth opening over and over, unable to find anything to say. You had always envisioned a world where you and Aaron were some sort of ‘public’ knowledge, but never like this, obviously never like this.

“Y/N, I need to come get you,” Hotch said, his voice much softer now, “I can’t-, I need to see that you’re safe.”

“I’ll make something up,” You said quickly, before adding, “there’s a private valet area, I’ll send you the instructions to get past the gates and I’ll let the security know you’re coming to pick me up.”

“I’ll be there in ten minutes, don’t draw any attention to yourself.” And with that he hung up, leaving you stunned in the bathroom. You gripped the edges of the counter, staring at yourself in the mirror. You wished you could stay in the bathroom for hours, desperately needing some time to privately process what Aaron had told you.

That wasn’t in the cards for you though, so you quickly did some pointless attempts at ‘straightening’ your appearance- more for your benefit than anything else- before you turned the lock and left back for your table

You slipped back into your seat across from your friend and co-star Johnny.

“Your friend alright?” Johnny asked.

“Yeah, yeah,” you said with a small smile, “she’s fine. But my Agent called me when I was in there, she apparently managed to set up some last minute FBI consult to help me prep for an audition I have coming up. According to her, she ‘pulled a lot of strings for this’.” You said, rolling your eyes. The lie sliding out of your mouth with ease. “Whoever this FBI dude is, is supposed to come pick me up right about,” you looked down at your phone, “now apparently. So I guess our little date has to end early.” You said, giving him an exaggerated sad pout.

Johnny rolled his eyes at that, giving you a small laugh. The two of you were both equally uninterested, romantically, in each other. But you did get along quite well, so being ‘forced’ into hanging out with each other outside of filming wasn’t bad; you’d probably hang out outside of filming anyway

“No worries, we still on for running lines later tonight?” He asked.

You thought for a moment, before nodding. “Wouldn’t miss it for the world. Now, help me flag down the waiter, I want to get one last drink in before I go.”

About twenty minutes later you found yourself waiting out in the private courtyard of the restaurant. You were doing your best to calm your nerves, this being the first opportunity you had to try and process what Aaron had told you. You should’ve seen it coming, if the stalker was so obsessed with you, he must’ve noticed Aaron in your life at some point. But you had been so careful.

Then the other obvious thing hit you. His team knew. You were wondering how the team had taken the news when you saw the black SUV come into view. Aaron quickly stopped the car in front of you and before you could move to open the passenger door yourself, he was out of his seat in a flash, coming over to where you were standing.

For a moment you were both silent. You felt tiny under his unrelenting gaze, his eyes scanning your entire being as he ensured himself you were okay.

Without thinking, you launched yourself at him, wrapping your arms tightly around his waist, ensnaring his arms tight to his side. As soon you realized what you did, you were internally kicking yourself, moving to loosen your arms nearly as fast as you had put them there.

Before you could finish your attempted apology, Aaron had pulled his arms from under yours and repositioned them around you, pulling you tightly against him. Your head naturally fit perfectly under his and you took in a deep breath, letting his scent surround you. It was cliche, but you both were thinking about how perfectly your bodies melded against each other.

You felt his hand rest gently on the back of your head, gently stroking down your hair in a steady rhythm. “I got you.” He whispered, so quiet you nearly didn’t hear it.

You pulled your head back so you could look up at him. “I’m scared.” You said, admitting it aloud for the first time.

Aaron was staring hard down at you, his face soft. “I know,” he started, moving a piece of hair away from your face, “I’m not going to let anyone hurt you, okay?”

You nodded at that, missing his warmth when he started to pull away from you. He kept a protective hand on your lower back, guiding you towards the passenger seat. He opened the door and helped you in, gently shutting the door behind you. As soon as your door was shut he wasted no time in getting in the driver's seat, starting the car up again. With a quick check to make sure your seatbelt clicked was in, Aaron peeled out of the parking lot.

A few floors above the courtyard, in one of the private hotel rooms, a curtain was angrily thrown shut.

part one

RANSOM DRYSDALE X READER

You share a secret with a trust fund playboy what happens when one family dinner ,may or may not reveal your secret

The loud chatter and screams filled the manner , allowing everyone to hear the usual fights the bust out of no where with this family . Ransom sat there in shame of his family members , sharing the same look as his grandfather on the other side of the dinner table .Usual Ransom would of joined in or even start an argument or two . But not this time he sat quietly awaiting the food .

the help one by one started to come in and silenced the family , placing the food on the table neatly , to then some would remained in the room if there was anything more the up tight needed . But their were more likely there for Harlan make a quick get away when things get to much .The tension in the air thick from the daggers everyone was sending to each other .

Walt began to plate up his food and soon everyone followed . coursing a few mumbles and cures , the chatter began to build up. Ransoms was in a mind of his own as he heard his family began to complain again , that was until he heard your name .

“arrr where is she ?” Linda ,Ransoms mother demanded “y/n ?”

Ransom blood began to boil at the tone his mother was using , but it was no different to how he sounded to everyone else.Ransom became calm as he saw you pop your head around the door way and made you way in .Ransom heart began to flutter as you looked just as beautiful the first day he met you (well saw you , you had worked for Harlan for 4 months until he notice you ) you began working for Harlan to pay of debts and keep you a float .

Ransom was walking towards his grandfather office , getting ready for a lovely. even of go and disapproval of Ransoms life style , but still whats new . He was scrolling threw his phone , with his brown coat hanged over his arm as he remained outside the office door for a second as he finished sending his message to some random girl . Ransom heard the door open , and went to walk in with his eyes still glued to his phone . That was until someone walked into him, causing the plates that were being carried to clash against the floor , followed by a girl that fell to her knees to collect them up .

“ im so sorry sir “ her sweet voice , made Ransom titled his head in curiosity

“you should be !” he snapped , as she got back up with the plates in her hand , As she slowly brought her head up , Ransom breath hitched as his blue orbs meet yous . Your hair was plied up on top of your head with loose strains surroundings your face , Your cheeks flushed with either embarrassment or fear . “ i was an accident sir , sorry once again “

“ no sir ive worked here for four months now “ you stated . That shocked Ransom a little surly he would of notice such a pretty face ..

“then you should know to call me Hugh , and nothing else “ Her eyes widen , and she nodded her head .

“yes Hugh , once again i apologise “ you said exiting the door frame and heading back to go knows where , But Ransom couldn't help his eyes wonder over you . He knows he will have you one way or another . He just didn't realise how addicting you would become to him , much more then any drug or alcohol . You would soon enough become a life line to the trust fund playboy

Ransom kept his eyes locked on you as you made your way to the bar and grabbed a bottle of wine , you walked back and filled Linda's cup up

“mine too” Walt demand at the other side of Linda across the table , you nodded your head and made you way past Harlan , You were nearly there when you tripped over Harlan chair leg and banged your stomach on the corner of the dinner table , your hands automatically flew to your stomach dropping the bottle of wine . Making the glass shatter and the wine run like blood .

it all happened so quick the only thing Ransom knew was his heart leaped out of his chest and he stood up , shaking the whole table and he pushed it forward .His family made gasp and started scolding you .

Ransom was by your side in second a hand on your back and one on your stomach , you both shared the same panic look.

“you okay ?” Ransom asked softly as anxiety and dread started to creep up rather quickly

you were staring at the ground for what felt like forever , until you looked at those ocean blue eyes .

“oh shes just being dramatic “ Joni barked

“ fuck off !” Ransom yelled silencing everyone in the room as all eyes were on the two of you , but neither of you cared , you were both to scared deep down ,. As Ransom removed his hand on your back and brought it to your cheek,

“are you okay ?” he asked again as he stared at your glossy eyes full of fear and embarrassment .

“im okay “ you whispered so quietly it was almost unheard

Ransom sighted “im not taking any chances “ and with that he picked you up and carried you bridal style over the broken glass and towards the kitchen ignoring the yells of his family .You buried your head in his neck and let out a quiet sob .

When you and Ransom entered the kitchen he placed you down on the kitchen isle . His hands tucking your hair away from your face and wiping the few tears that escaped your eyes .

“you got to be more careful” Ransom sighed

“i know , i know , im sorry “ you hiccuped

“its not me you should be saying sorry to “ he placed one of his large hands of your small bloated bump “ him or her just had a bumpy ride , you should be saying sorry to them “ he said with a small smile on his face .

you let out a little giggle and look down as you place your hand over Ransoms “ im sorry “

“see now the worlds back on track “ he laughed

You and Ransom were laying down on his couch , with your head on his chest , you were tucked in under his chin , with your finger laced together , creating shapes and patterns .The house was silent , no TV , no music , no chatter , it was a peace full silence ,one that made everything okay . Apart from a deep chuckle form Ransom now and then when your hands got tingled together . You titled your head slight to look up to the blue eyed man that stole your heart . As you did Ransom eyes lazily glanced down at you , with small sweet smile only for you. He learned down and pecked your lips .

“ i have something for you “his voice deep and relaxed .

“huh ?” you asked as Ransom as he sat you both up , you tucked your knees to your chest , as you sat on his lap .

“its not much a promise “ he chuckled he said that every time , you didnt like it went he brought you gift , because that’s not what you want him for . As well as you feel bad not being able to get him something , even though he already has everything he could want or need .

you nodded you head , you learnt that trying to fight him on it wont work , he will keep treating you no matter what .

Ransom titled his body slightly , so his arm could reach under the coach , he spent a few seconds trying to find what ever it was , until he did , a wide smile played on his lips as he brought his self back up . He pecked you cheek .

“here love “ he place a small black box into your hands , you slowly lifted the lid , and glanced at Ransom who was looking at you instantly , almost nervous . You looked back down and saw , a sliver chain in a mixture of packaging , You picked it up with you thumb and index finger , You raised your hand , pulling the chain out of the box untill in will dangling in the air . You brought your other hand up the what looked like a ring that the chain threaded threw . as you looked closer it was indeed a ring , with a simple yet big diamond at the centre with a silver band

“Hugh “ you simple whisper , you felt Ransom shift under you , bring on hand to you hip which the other reached for the necklace , you followed his arm untill you met his eyes

“what is this ?” you asked with wide eyes

“ i ... “ he paused taking in a deep breath “ your it for me y/n “ he brought the hand on your hip up to your cheek . “ its a promise shall we say , i promise that i will love you till my last breath , to show you how much a love you , And i promise that one day i will be your husband “ you had tears in your eyes as you felt Ransom hand shake against your cheek “if you’ll have me ?”

Viktor Drago x Cyra (Black OFC)

Viktor Drago is married to the love of his life, they have a 5 year old son. He is willing to do anything to keep them safe.

Flashback 7

Ever since that night, he meet her at the gym to walk her home, sharing a kiss at the end. He wasnt lying when he said how he inexperienced he was with dating. He was his normal sweet self, opening the door for her, letting her go first, holding her bag as they walked.

Viktor couldn't help it, he was falling in love with her. But nothing lasted forever and he waited for the day this all would be yanked away from him. He didnt deserve the niceness that was Cyra, he was a animal, just here to fight. Sometimes he looked at her and felt sad because he knew that this little window of joy would only last so long.

“Come upstairs, I got something to show you.” a smile painted across her face.

He silently followed her upstairs, locking the door behind them. They were alone, good because he and Anna didnt get along. She came back with a wrapped package about the size of a book.

“Its not much, but I thought you would like it since you are always staring at me.” she giggled. He took the package and opened it carefully, not wanting to damage whatever was inside.

He pulled out a small photo album, flipping through the pictures. It only held 10 pictures but he loved each one. The first few you could tell were just selfies she took on her phone, a few had to be from when she was back home. The last 4 were of them together, most of the time he was looking at her, but one photo she was kissing his cheek and he had a smile on his face, he liked that one the best.

“Thank you.”

“No problem Vik, I thought you would enjoy it.”

“I do, very much.” he shifted on the couch, she came back with two waters for them, straddling his lap instead of sitting next to him.

Over the weeks he had got use to her soft touches, he was use to being hit and slapped, and punched. But Cyra, never, always a soft touch, a gentle squeeze here or there.

Their lips connected and he groaned into her mouth. Everything about her was the opposite of him, soft vs hard. He silently hopped she didnt move, not waning his erection to be noticed. He was painfully hard. His hands traveled from her thighs to her hips, pulling her closer.

She pulled away briefly, Viktor whined at the lost of contact. Cyra looked at him, before taking her shirt off.

“Vik do you want me to stop?” she asked.

“God no, please dont stop.”

That was all either need, He fumbled getting her bra off, wanting to touch her bare skin.

“Slow down babe, its fine.”

She kissed his jaw, reaching one hand back to undo it, he couldn't even got it down with two hands.

Viktor ran his hands from the small of her back up, gently cupping her breast. She was perfect in every way.

A shudder ran through him when she grinded against him, he never felt anything so good before.

She helped him take his shirt off, the skin to skin contact sent him on another frenzy. When her head feel back he sucked on her neck.

“Vik, please make love to me.” her voice was husky, needy almost.

Viktor stood, not letting her go, carrying her to her bedroom, closing the door behind them both.

Their first time had been clumsy and quick, learning each other bodies. Viktor stayed the whole night, not caring what Ivan would say. He was where he wanted to be and where he want to stay at, here with Cyra. This felt like home to him.

5 hours until the fight

Viktor was throwing up, he never had fight jitters, this is what he was born to do. He was worried about Cyra and Kazi.

If everything went right he would be seeing them in a few hours and he prayed everything went right. He never been religious before but he found himself praying several times a day now.

His locker room was empty, he didn’t like a lot of people around before the fight. Just his trainer and the officials who checked him out to make sure his gloves were legal.

He drank plenty of water his phone ringing as he finished off a bottle.

“Hello.”

“Everything good?” Andriy asked.

“Yes, everything will happen as it’s supposed to. Can I talk to Cyra?”

“No you need to focus on your fight, make it a good one.”

“Ok.”

Viktor hung up as Ivan entered the room. He hated this man, and to know he planned this all was a spit on the face.

“You ready?”

“Yes but I left my mouth guard in the car, can you get it?” He hated he had to keep this charade up. But Trey told him, it all depended on him keeping his cool. So he did for his family.

“Yes, be ready to spar when I get back.”

Ivan turned and left Viktor. After 5 minutes his trainer walked in, giving Viktor his mouth guard before wrapping his hands.

Ivan would miss the fight.

Cyra has a bad feeling. It was just something in the air that set her on edge. Kazi felt it too and never moved from her side. He wasn’t his normal talkative self, just sitting there quietly clutching his toy.

They had been fed breakfast, but no lunch, or dinner. They had been let out the room to use the restroom but not outside.

She knew today was fight day and they would be watching closely to ensure he did what they ask. She could faintly hear the tv, he gave a interview before the fight keeping up the trend of being boastful.

Cyra head snapped up when she heard a loud bang. Their captors were never loud, not even raising their voice so this was definitely out of place. After 39 seconds of silence she heard other voice.

“Police! Get down everyone!”

Holy fuck, someone had found them. Cyra grabbed Kazi, sinking to the floor on the side of the bed out of view.

The door to the room was kicked open and she saw flashlights dance over the covered window.

“Cy!?”

“Trey?”

No someone was playing a joke on her. How could it be Trey.

Heavy boots rounded the bed and she looked up and saw her older brother holding a gun.

“Fuck, I’m so happy you guys are okay.”

Cyra let Kazi go, she had been clutching him hard. He ran over to his uncle happy to see a familiar face.

“How did you…”

“Now isn’t the time let’s go.” Trey helped her up and they walked out the front door together. Her truck was gone, of course it would be.

“Do you need medical care?” Someone asked her and she shook her head no. This was all very overwhelming.

You wanna know what I want?

I am a lover of all things angst, and this includes toxic relationships, and sanders sides fanfic has not failed me with this. Theres the steadily growing amount of unsympathetic patton relationships gowing around, and a hanfull of unsympathitic roman fics ive seen. But the most ive seen is with deceit and remus being the abusers. I get it, its easy to put them in this role sense theyve been labeled the dark sides, but youre missing so much angst potential! So ive compiled some fic ideas revolving around these two characters.

Warnings:teen/adult, physical abuse, mental abuse, injury mention, smothering behavior, self harm, emotional abuse, blood, crying, breakdowns, isolating behavior, and unsympathetic patton and virgil.

Mociet with unsympathitic Patton

This can work in so many gut wrenching ways. Patton is so offten seen as the Dad friend, so maybe a fic where is older and Deceit younger? Imagine a 23 year old Patton, known for being nicest guy in the town, meeting 16 year old Deceit who, despite his punk style, is relatively sheltered and innocent. Patton prays on this innocence, but is put off by Deceits style, so he sets out to change him. All Pattonhas to do is treat Deceit to some tasty foods and kind words, and the teen cant stop thinking of him. Patton makes the first move and kisses Dee with no warning, before pressuring and convincing Dee into a relationship. They keep it secret, and for a while it's good. Until its not.

Patton starts to "accidentally" lose the clothes Dee would leave at his apartment, in exchange smothering him in gifts. Gifts of scratchy yellow sweaters and too tight pastel converse and other things that aren't his style. At first Patton acts normal when Dee doesn't wear these things, and its fine. Until one day Dee cant find his normal leather jacet on a cold day and opts to wear the sweater. He visits his boyfriend after school, and Patton instantly starts to cover Dee in praise when he sees him, calling him adorable and his little sunflower. They even have a heavy makeout session that abrudtly ends when Pat sees the black band T underneath the sweater. But its fine, Dee tells himself, probably nothing.

From then on, Deceit starts to notice how Patton becomes more distant, only ever gifting him cutesy clothes. All he wants is the attention he got that one day. So he starts to wear the clothes. Even when the sweater on his skin itches or the converse leaves small blisters or the bright colours leave him feeling uncomfortable. Its a small price to pay for the adoring look patton gives him.

Then, one day Deceit decides to wear his leather fingerless gloves on his date with Patt. When Patt answers the apartment door, he instanly frowns at the gloves. The dinner they have is stiff and quiet, patton not even glancing at the teen. When dinner is over and Dee is about to leave, Patt stops him. He asks why hes wearing those gloves, and starts to insult Dee. The teen tries to counter argue him, but Patts shouting and its scaring him. He never shouts.

Dee backs a few steps away, attempting to put space between him and his lover, but he bumps into one of Pattons flower vases and it shatters. Patton becomes more angry, screaming and stomping towards the boy. He grabs Dee and rips the gloves off. Dee panics and pushes himself away, but thats puts him off his balance. He falls backwards, onto the glass. The shards push into his hands and hes bleeding. Dee becomes upset, but before he can shout at Patt, his boyfriends there.

He has tears in his eyes and is apologising, pulling the teen into a tight hug. He keeps saying sorry and that he didnt mean too. He picks the boy up and puts him on the couch, smothering him in compliments. When patt "calms down" he attempts to lighten the mood. He says " next time dont be so clumsy." Dee ends up staying the night, missing school the next day. This is the last time he wears something like that.

When hes home, he gets a package from Patton. The note says " so that your not sutch a clutz next time :D." Inside theres a pair of pure white gloves, with little embroidered sunflowers.

Anxceit with Unsympathitic Virgil

This idea was easy to come up with. Virgil is the embodiment of anxiety and theres alot of things that can make you anxious in relationships.

They met at a concert. Deceit say the shorter man and his rainbow pin amd decided to give it a shot. He flirted with the little emo, cautious on if he was uncomfortable. They hit it off and went to a starbucks after the concert to get to know each other.

They kept in touch and continued to grow closer. Suprisingly, it was Virgil who asked him out. Their relationship was perfect. They ended up dating for 1 and a half years before they decided it was time to move in together.

Deceit noticed the change immediately. Whenever he would be on his phone, Virgil would go quiet. Whenever Dee came home from something or another, Virgil would launch himself at the taller individual. At first Dee thought nothing of this, thinking it was cute even. Until it was not.

Deceit had went out and visited some friends, talking and joking around with each other. Dee felt the constant buzzing of his phone in his pocket, but ignored it to speak to his friends. When he finally arrived home, he foumd out his mistake. Virgil stood in the living room, head bowed, and asked where dee was. Deciet responded quietly, concerned for his partner. Verge looked up and asked "why didnt you respond to my messages?!" Dee was taken aback, confused by Virgils behavior. Virgil saw this and started shouting at him. Right when Dee was about to respond, Virgil started to break down into sobs. Deciet ran over to him and tried to calm him down, but the other wouldnt stop repeating " dont leave me." When finally calm, virge looked up at Deceit and asked " can you please just tell me when you go somewhere?" Deceit agreed.

Things like this kept progressing, Virgil crying and breaking down any time Deceit doesn't tell him when he leaves the house. He starts to even get upset anytime Dee dosent text 5 minutes after he texts him, saying how hes scared that Dees leaving. Deceit feels bad for his partner, so he stops leaving the house for anything thats not work or food. Virgil is very happy about this. But only for a bit.

Since Deceit starts to be at home more, he keeps up with his freinds through text. He doesnt tell the why he stopped hanging out with them, ignoring the question anytime its asked. Virgil notices Dee being on his phone so often, and becomes jealous. One day, he sees Dee laughing at something on his phone, and jumps to conclusions. Virgil stomps over to Deceit and yanks the phone from his hands. He starts to shout, accusing him of cheating and lieing. Once agian, right before Dee is about to respond, Virgil cries. Once again he says hes scared and doesnt want him to leave. Deceit comforts Virgil, and Verge asks him something. "Can you just let me look at your phone when i get scared? Please?" Deceit agrees.

And once again, its all fine. They fall into a routine. Dee goea to work, calls Verge on his lunch brake, comes straight home, talk to Virgil, help make dinner, eat, have Virge check his phone, watch tv, and go to bed. It was simple. But Deceit was lonely. He missed his friends, missed seeing them and knowing whats going on in there life. So one day, Dee goes into his room and voice chats his friends.

Virgil enters and Dee stops the call. Virgil is mad. Hes shouting at Deciet and accusing him cheating once again. When hes done shouting, he glares at Dee and demands to see his phone. Deceit says no. This is the wrong answer.

Virgils eyes go wide, before turning around and marching out the room, slamming the door behind him. Deceit doesnt make a move until he hears Verge open a kitchen drawer. Deceit races out the bedroom to see Virgil cutting his arms with a knife. Dee grabs him and triea to get him to stop, only for Virgil to drop the knife and fall to the ground. Hes sobbing, saying that he has nothing to live for without Deceit. Deceit tries to calm him and carefully cares for his wounds, virgil still in tears.

Deceit doesnt contact his friends for a long time after that.

Also, remember i have nothing against Patton and Virge, i actually enjoy them quiet a bit, so dont think I hate them or something! I just wanted to write something small including things like different types of abuse and character takes, im not saying that these characters are truly like this. Anyway, hope you enjoyed!!

You’ve Always Been Mine

chapter 17

`jooheon

i stood there, gazing at nori in disbelief. i couldn't believe what she was saying to me. her words pierced through my heart, making my body freeze over.

“stay away from you?” i muttered.

it was like she was looking past me. like i wasn’t even standing in front of her. as if, i was a ghost- trying to get her attention.

that feeling hit me again. sick to my stomach. tingles all over my body.

my brows were furrowed and im sure she noticed my eyes become more watery, from the immediate sigh that escaped her lips.

“no..” i protested silently.

she lazily stood to her feet, approaching the door- pulling it open. “leave.” she said in a heartless tone.

i shut my eyes. “nori, please dont do this.”

emotionally, i couldn’t let her go- i just couldn’t. it would be impossible. my heart was hers and i didnt want anyone else to have it. more importantly, i didn’t want someone else to have her heart.

“just get out.” i looked down at her as her words escaped her mouth. involuntary tears were falling from her eyes and her lips were parted, as her breathing became heavier.

“i dont want to.” i whispered softly as i grabbed her hand. nori instantly pulled away and created a bit of distance between us- making my heart, fall to my stomach.

this, was the exact moment where i knew i lost her.

“im not gunna ask you again.” nori’s eyes met mine as she spoke, this time. “don’t make me have someone escort you out.”

who was this person? the nori i knew, was now gone. i had no idea who was standing in front of me.

“well, go ahead. cause, im not leaving.” i reached behind me, pushing the door shut with my palm as i stood my ground. “i know you dont really want me to leave.” i said, closing the space between us.

nori blinked a few times, sending tears down her cheeks as she looked up at me.

“you dont know anything, jooheon.”

i chuckled.

“i know you’re scared. just like i am. i know that, you’re acting like this- because you’re territorial.” i voice. “you’ve never seen a relationship succeed. so, you run away every chance you get. you cant keep pushing me away, nori. you can be a brat all you want. but- the fact of the matter is, you love me.” i said in anger.

nori lifted her arm, swinging her hand back and smacked me- right in the face.

my head slightly turned to the side and i huffed. feeling the inside of my cheek, with my tongue- i nodded slowly.

“get the hell out of my room.” she whispered, breathing heavily. the little strand of hair that fell in her face, moved every time she exhaled.

my eyes finally met hers after a few moments. i took one last look at her, then turned around and left.

later that day

`shownu

i sat at the computer, reading over my statement- for the tenth time. it was already posted and tons of comments were already being made. i stared at the screen and sighed as i crossed my arms against over my chest.

i really shouldnt read these comments.

i smacked my lips, hitting the red x in the right hand corner, watching the page close. picking up my phone, i text misun.

i sighed as i slipped my phone into my pocket and began getting ready for practice.

after dozing off for a few hours, i opened my eyes and reached for my phone. it was already 7:30pm. shownu had been at practice for almost 5 hours and i was bored out of my mind. i clicked on his contact name, giving him a call.

no answer. i decided to send him a quick text- letting him know that i missed him.

sitting up, i fixed my hair and walked into the living room- looking around. nori still hadn’t left her room since jooheon left.

i was waiting for her to fill me in on what happened. i didn’t wanna push her to talk, but i also couldn’t wait too long. otherwise, she would keep it all in and not say anything.

turning the knob to her door, i peaked inside and she was still sleeping. i softly smiled, entering the room and crawling in next to her. she immediately groaned.

“oh hush. you’ve been sleep all.” i laughed. i wrapped my arms around her and laid my head on her back. “please get up. im so bored, i took a nap. i miss my nori.”

she slightly lifted her head and mumbled. “what time is it?”

“it’s time to get up. you need to eat something.” i said sitting up. “come on.” i took hold of both nori’s hands and pulled her body up.

her eyes were still closed and i chuckled as her hair fell in her face.

“lord, please help nori pull it together.” i said jokingly.

nori fired back. “i am pulled together.”

“mhm, whatever.” i gently patted her cheeks. nori and i both climbed out of bed at the same time then made our way out to the living room.

“i wanna go home now. im sick of this hotel room.” she groaned. i nodded in agreement.

“i wonder if it’s okay to leave now. no one knows where we are.” i laughed. “i think it would be okay if we left.”

“thank the lord- i miss my bed.” nori laughed.

`nori

pulling up to our apartment, misun and i jumped out of the cab- closing the doors. it felt so good to see our building again. i sighed and softly smiled, as we made our way inside.

“ah, home sweet home.” misun laughed. i inhaled deeply and went straight to the couch, plopping down.

“i’ve never missed this tiny apartment so much in my life.” i closed my eyes and relaxed a bit.

“you can say that again. i actually hadn’t noticed how small this place was, until now.”

misun looked around and placed her hands on her hips- then sharply inhaled, as she had an idea.

“omg, nori. we should move!” she said in a delighted tone, clapping her hands. my eyes quickly opened.

“move?” i repeated. “misun, you do remember that i work at a coffee shop right? i dont make that much money.” i laughed.

she made her way over to the couch, sitting next to me. “i have enough money saved up for us to be comfortable.” misun smiled. “and, technically- shownu said he would take care of me until i found somewhere else to work.”

i threw my head back and laughed. “yeah, take care of you- not me.”

misun slapped my arm. “you are me, silly. we’re a package deal.” she flashed her white, straight teeth and giggled.

i rolled my eyes, hopping up from the couch and shaking my head as i made my way towards my room. “run that by shownu, then come talk to me.”

`jooheon

i sat in my studio chair, staring off into space as the song i wrote about nori played in the background. it only took me 15 minutes to throw it together, since everything was still fresh.

i kept playing it, over and over again.

coming down, back to reality- my phone started ringing. i paused the music, picking up the call.

“hello?”

“they’re gone.” shownu said in a panicked voice.

i stood up from my chair.

“what do you mean they’re gone? they left the hotel?”

i immediately shut everything down, grabbing my keys and running out of the studio.

“i’ve been trying to call misun, but she’s not picking up. have you talked to nori?” he asked.

hearing her name, gave me butterflies.

“no.” i answered quickly. “where could they have gone?”

“i have no idea. but im on my way to the apartment right now. meet me there.”

shownu ended the call as i climbed into the drivers seat, racing to the apartment.

arriving, i slammed the door after parking. shownu pulled up, just in time. he jumped out of the car, waving me to follow him up the stairs.

`nori

i sat on the floor with misun and laughed as i placed a face mask against her skin. “you look creepy.” i said laying the mask flat.

she laughed with me, raising her hand to fix mine- as it started slipping.

“so do you, shut up. you better not mess up your nails either, cause im not fixing them again!” misun quickly grabbed my hand, looking at the polish.

“i really had to pee, what was i supposed to do?”

it felt good to laugh again. a little girls night could fix anything.

`bang.bang.bang.`

misun and i both jumped, looking towards the front door. we were still and quiet.

“who is that?” i whispered. misun shook her head.

“i dont know..” the expression on her face, scared me a little.

“what if someone followed us here?” she said looking over at me.

“maybe they’ll go away..”

we waited a brief moment, letting the silence echo in our ears.

`bang.bang.bang.`

we jumped again.

i slowly stood up and started walking towards the door.

“dont answer that.” she whispered.

“MISUN!”

looking back at her, i pointed towards the door. “is that shownu?” i asked, recognizing his voice.

misun jumped up and ran over to the peep hole. “oh no..” she muttered.

she turned the locks, opening the door as it creaked a little. shownu pushed his way in, with jooheon behind him.

“misun, what the hell!” he quickly wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tight. “i was worried about you! why havent you been answering my calls?”

he pulled out of the hug, looking down at her and laughing a little. “you’re doing face masks?” shownu pulled off her mask, tossing it on the floor and cupping her cheeks. “dont scare me like that again.”

“i-im sorry.. i forgot to tell you..” misun stuttered. shownu shook his head then pulled her back into a hug as he closed his eyes.

slipping off my face mask, i rubbed in the excess gel. this was a little awkward.

i met jooheon’s eyes and he quickly looked away, turning his back towards me as he remained in the hall. he rubbed the back of his neck then walked away.

5:12 am

CRASH

"Doyoungiiieeeee." An unknown voice rang out through your apartment. You sat up, startled. "Doyoungie! Where are yooouuuu?" The voice slurred loudly. You slowly got yourself up from your bed, and grabbed the nearest thing to swing, a pillow. You wished you would've had an actual weapon, but the voice didnt sound too intimidating.

You slowly opened the door to your room and walked down the hall. Before you can make it to your living room, your kitchen light turned on.

"Doyoung I'm STARVINGGGG IM GONNA EAT!" The boy hollered. You peered around the corner, peeking into the kitchen. There stood a very young boy, swaying in front of your refrigerator. He was obviously drunk. And in the wrong apartment.

You pulled away from the doorframe, and leaned against the wall. What do you do? Do you leave him alone? Will he hurt you if you tell him to leave? You could fight back if you have to, but your prefer not to fight. Finally you decided you would step in. This is your apartment after all.

You peeled yourself off the wall, and took a deep breath before entering the kitchen. The boy stood there with a slice of pizza dangling from his mouth. You cleared your throat, causing the boy to look at you and drop his pizza.

"You're not Doyoung... are you his girlllfriend???" He questioned, a goofy smile forming his lips as he drew out the last word.

"Ummm.. I'm sorry but I don't know who he is. Or who you are for that fact..." you tried your best to explain.

He watched you with a furrowed brow. "This is Doyoungie's apartment..." he said the confused look never leaving his face.

"Its not.. I've lived here for 4 months now. Maybe he lived here before? But I'm sorry you're gonna have to leave." He stared at you in surprise before he began pouting.

"But I'm hungrryyyyy." He exclaims throwing his head back. "Where is Doyoung?? Why isn't he here to cook like he always does????" He said shoving the fridge door shut. His eyes seemed to get glossy as he spoke. "Is he mad because I went without him to the party? Please tell him I'm sorry." He pouted again.

"If I make you food will you leave?" You ask, tired of dealing with this child. He nodded his head, his black hair bouncing as he does so. "Fine." You mumble.

Why did I even volunteer for this. I dont even know him!!! You thought to youself.

You leave the pillow at the kitchen door, before walking into the kitchen. His big brown doe eyes trailed behind you. You opened the fridge and grabbed a few eggs, letting it shut right after. You grabbed a package of ramen off the counter, and showed it to him. "Is this okay?" He nodded his head, happily. He reminded you of a young child.

"Why are you awake right now?" He asks as he sloppily tries to get himself on the counter. His arm slipped from under him. Luckily he caught himself. He tried once more, and amazingly got himself up there. When he caught you watching him he smiled widely, showing his brace adorned teeth.

Cute, you thought.

"Well I was asleep. But someone barged into my apartment.. how did you get in anyways?" You ask, beginning to boil water in the pot.

"The door was unlocked! How else did I get in?" He asked as if it was the most obvious answer ever. You nodded.

That night you had come home late from school, and you went straight to sleep. You weren't surprised your door was open honestly. "Do I have something on my face?" He asks, wiping his face dramatically. You giggle at his behavior.

"No. Why?" You question, turning to the boiling pot of water. You open the ramen and place them in the water, along with the seasoning and vegetables.

"Because you were staring at me." You felt your eyes grow wide, and a blush creeping up on your cheeks. Were you really staring?

"I wasnt staring. But I didnt realize you had braces." You said over your shoulder. You cracked the egg into the pot and pulled it off the stove. "Come on. Your food is ready." You say, making your way to your living room. You definitely didnt trust him carrying this pot of hot soup in his state.

You walked into the living room, placing his noodles on the table. He wobbled his way to the living room, sitting on the floor in front of his noodles. You turned the TV on, a d flipped through the channels until he made a sound of approval. "I loove that show and I looove these noodles. Doyoung nevverrr made them this good." He states, dragging out certain words. You smile softly and the drunk boy and he shoves more food into his mouth.

"Well.. I'm glad you like it."

You didnt hear much from him after that. Only the clinking of his chopsticks against the pot, and the occasional laugh from him.

He got up from the floor and flung himself on the couch hugging the pillow you placed there. You looked at him from your chair. "You should be going now you know... its 6:30 in the morning... do you want to call som-"

"No please let me finish this show! Please!" He begged, his eyes wide. You huffed, softly before nodding. He's been here this long. He'll have to leave soon anyways.

You stood up and grabbed the pot. You might as well wash it. You rinsed it with water, placed the soap on your sponge and began to softly clean the pot. Your mind seemed to wonder to the boy on the couch. His coal black hair that seemed to be a bit too long, his doe eyes crinkling at the sides as he laughed. Everything about this past hour was unexpected. But you cant say you didn't enjoy it. You placed the pot in the drying rack, and made your way back to the living room.

Surprisingly (or maybe not), the unknown boy was asleep on your couch. You sighed. Well. Might as well get some sleep too.

You laid down in the chair you previously occupied, and pushed the button to lay back. You body almost immediately relaxed into the soft plush chair.

8:18 am

You stirred in your chair not having been able to fully go to sleep. Suddenly, you heard the rustling of the couch next to you.

"Oh shit..." you heard him murmur. You squinted, to look at the strange boy. He ran his hands threw his hair, before standing up. He looked around before his eyes landed on you. The look on his face became soft, and he grinned. He walked over to you, before kneeling in front of you. "Thank you."

He stood up and began to slip on his shoes. He looked around and grabbed his jacket from where he threw it on the floor. His hand slowly unlocked the door. Before he could twist the door knob you sat up.

"What's your name?" He smiled, turning to face you, flashing his braces.

"I'm Jihoon."

This is a little over two thousand words and stopped being about tsundoko about halfway through (if it even was in the first place), but it was such a fun idea to play with and I hope the format doesn’t get in the way of the story. I thought emails and texts would help me keep things short, but obviously that didn’t pan out.

Storytime

Ok, so I had to wake up early Friday morning to go to work. I had to go in at 8 am, and had woken up at 5:30 since my siblings have to get ready to catch their school bus. I woke up, woke them up, and decided to help my sister get ready for school. It was 6:30 by the time they left for school. But, instead of staying awake, I decided to go right back to sleep.

And the dream I had was...weird.

Ok, so my dream starts off with my coworker and I having to drive this white delivery truck somewhere to deliver a package, which isnt in any way part of our job description so I knew I was dreaming. I'm driving, and I realize we are driving down a familiar road. I'm like, ok, cool. Imma enjoy the scenery. But then I take a right turn and, suddenly, I'm driving down the beach. Even dream me was like, "What the fuck? This road doesnt lead to the fucking beach. How the fuck?"

But my coworker, Doña Ana, told me to just keep driving. So, naturally, I did. I'm driving down the sand, trying to avoid running over people before I realize theres no way someone is actually going to die becuase they're all magically moving out of the way. Great.

For some reason, once we reach the delivery destination, which was some kind of weird loading dock with its OWN GODDAMN POSTAL SERVICE, HELLO, I DIDNT NEED TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY OUT HERE THIS IS BULLSHIT. Anyway, for some reason I had parked my little delivery truck behind some other white freightliners, or eighteen-wheelers, and I couldnt find it. So I'm walking around the beach, like an idiot, and I literally turn a full circle and walk back towards the loading dock and, suddenly, it's like I knew where my truck was the whole time.

I get in and start driving back. I take the same route, but it suddenly turns into this narrow road with a Canal on both sides, with steep sides leading down into a watery death. And we pass this neighborhood, and theres this little girl on the road. At first I was going to drive past because little girl on the road? In the middle of the night? Yeah, I'm noping the fuck out fo that situation.

But Doña Ana told me to move the girl. So I jump off and tell the girl to move back. She looks at the canal and says shes going to fall in. So I gently push her back towards her neighborhood where she just stands at the entrance, looking so sad and lost, and she looks up at me and says, "I dont want to walk home alone. Can you walk me home?" And I know I shouldn't, but I do anyway. I'm a sucker for kids, but as I'm walking her home I'm thinking, "She seems nice. I wish Sammy (my little sister) were here. They'd be great friends."

And suddenly, my sister is right there with me. And, sure enough, the girls hit it off. They decide on an impromptu playdate. And I'm like, yeah ok. I look back, and the canal is gone, it's like not there and suddenly we are just in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. Huh. Ok.

And for some reason, my sister and I enter this little girl's house in, like, one fo those little toy cars? The ones you can drive around in as a kid? And we are playing with this girl and driving around her fucking house like this and, sure enough, we break something. Cue the mother coming in, seeing me in the toy car, and telling us to fuck off. "Thank you for bringing my daughter home, but get the fuck out of my house."

"Wow, okay lady. I'm sorry for the mess we made, but it was a pleasure meeting you."

"Yeah, whatever, get out of my house."

So we leave. The delivery truck is parked outside on a curb and suddenly my mom is there because its night and my sister and I werent home and we need to get home NOW becuase Sammy has cheer practice in the morning. The truck has wide seats, those where you can sit three people in the front and like an opened space in the back. No seats, so my little sister and this random dude with his baby had to sit on the floor, hiding because we didnt want the cops to pull us over for not having a seat belt.

BUT DOÑA ANA DOESNT BELIEVE IN SEAT BELTS. And I told her to let me drive, but my mom had said no and Doña Ana isnt the the best driver so, as we are pulling out fo the neighborhood, Doña Ana backs up into a mailbox. And in that neighborhood there was a cop patrolling. And he saw her. And stopped us just outside the nieghborhood.

I suddenly remember I did not have my seatbelts on, so I put it on. We're all tense cus the people in the back dont have seats, let alone seatbelts, Doña Ana doesnt have a driver's license, and I didnt have my purse becuase I left it at my workplace. She gets told to get out of the car.

Now here is where it gets fucked up.

I'm looking out the driver's window, enjoying the view of the clouds. They seem big and fluffy, and a bit dark...actually, are those funnels?

There are three funnels in the sky. Tornadoes. Not one, not two, but three. And they're starting to merge together. The wind is picking up, and I see a blast of air rushing towards us in the distance.

"Mom, holy shit are you seeing this?"

"Pfft. It's not a tornado."

I see the wind picking up cars and blowing them aside as it approaches us.

"Those things dont happen so far down in Texas."

It blows a helicopter out of the sky and blows it towards our truck. The blades are still running and, as they approach the driver's window, they get closer to eye level.

"Nothing is going to happen."

My eyes widen, and I duck. The blades cross exactly where my head had been, and I'm glad my sister and the dude and the baby were laying on the floor of the truck because they lived. The whole top half is gone and I'm relieved that we are alive.

...Until I hear a gurgling sound beside me. And I turn...

And my mother's neck is bleeding. She is holding her neck, and I know exactly what happened when she turns to look at me, her eyes wide with panic, blood gushing down her shirt as she tries to form words. I utter my denials as I reach for her, trying to hold her head to her neck and having to flounder because my mom's head is in my hands and it's such an awkward weight and oh my god I'm holding my mother's severed head.

And I scream. And my mom's body leans out the hole where the passenger door was and she falls onto the grass outside, and her severed head falls above it, refusing to stick back together, staying separate and somehow she is still holding on to life just long enough for her to tell me to "Take Sammy home. Keep her safe."

And I scream again becuase I cant do that and my mother just had her head cut off my a helicopter's blades and I cant leave her body there but I have to because I cant just take my mother's body along with me, especially with my sister in the backseat.

So I start to drive away, sobbing, not believing what has happened. And my body goes numb. My foot moves off from the pedal and the truck slows to a stop. My sister is screaming at me to go. My mother's echo is telling me to go. Why arent you moving? Why arent you listening to me?

But I cant feel a thing. My mind is stuck on the weight of my mother's severed head. On that feeling when my relief turned to horror with a single sound. On the anger I briefly felt as I realized my mother has no survival skills since she didnt duck when I did. On a single thought that said, "Let this be a dream. Please, let this be a dream. Wake up, wake up wake UP!"

I'd never been happier than when my eyes snapped open on Friday morning, March 8, at 7:29 am. I'd never been happier to know I just had a nightmare.

This was so fun writing I had the fun of my life o(*>ωAlthough I lost the document 2 times
