I recently rewatched the Star Wars movies, and I have thoughts

Anakin is. genuinely. extremely creepy in Attack Of The Clones. What was Padme thinking. Girl get the heck away

The Rise Of Skywalker felt very… disconnected, I think was the main thing. In the first 20 minutes of the movie, you’re blasted with an entirely new (and frankly random) storyline that doesn’t connect at all to the previous movies

rewatched the prequel trilogy and it’s so like…..omg i have such complicated feelings abt it bc i think there’s a lot of great stuff in it but i don’t know if it was meant to be told as movies, it feels so rushed despite each of them being 2+ hours long LMAO. anakin’s characterization especially i wish had been given more time and thought 😭😭 bc he is literally the core of the story but i just think he comes off as such a jerk 75% of the time when we’re supposed to like, still actually LIKE him and root for him…i’m fine with him being terrible as he becomes evil bc that’s why it’s a juicy tragedy but it just could’ve been sooooo good and it isn’t. though the last fight between him and obi wan still goes off
