After Ahsoka episode 5, I’m fully convinced now that the reason why Mandalorian season 3 was so mediocre was that Dave Filoni put all his attention towards Ahsoka. Then when it came time to write the story for Mando S3, he just told Jon Favreau and the writers, “Look, all that needs to happen is that Mandalore is restored at the end. Just come up with some shit that happens in-between and we’ll be good”.
