it's been more than 2 years. let's not pretend that my routine now isn't completely fucked
i normally don't draw or share something that personal, but now it's a way to cope. somehow. plus, i think, it should be normal to talk about
Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.
Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.
[id: 10 gifs from season 2, episode 21 “the maquis part 2” from the tv series “star trek: deep space nine”, the gifs show commander benjamin sisko, and major kira nerys in sisko’s office.
1st & 2nd gif: sisko is standing inside his office, he talks to himself ““establish a dialogue.” what the hell does she think i've been trying to do?” kira comes into sisko’s office, she calls out to him, “commander.” but sisko picks up once more from where he stopped with his rhetorical question, “just because a group of people belong to the federation,”
3rd gif: the camera cuts to kira. sisko is still talking, “that does not mean that they are saints.” kira interrupts sisko, “excuse me.” but sisko asks her instead “do you know what the trouble is?” kira shakes her head before replying, “no.”
4th & 5th gif: the camera cuts back to sisko, who walks from behind his office to stand in front of kira. “the trouble is earth.” sisko starts to reply, and kira interjects with a “really?”, sisko continues, “on earth, there is no poverty, no crime, no war. you look out the window of starfleet headquarters and you see paradise. well, it's easy to be a saint”
6th gif: the camera cuts to a close of kira, she is listening to sisko, “in paradise, but the maquis do not live in paradise.”
7th, 8th, 9th, & 10th gif: the camera cuts to show sisko pacing back and forth, before stopping in front of kira. he is clearly frustrated and agitated by starfleet’s response to the situation “out there, in the demilitarized zone, all the problems haven't been solved yet. out there, there are no saints, just people -- angry, scared, determined people who are going to do whatever it takes to survive, whether it meets with the federation's approval or not.” /end id]
In the narrow hours of the night I will wake to a downpour; through the window see your trashcans shining. I will swaddle myself in your warmest jacket, put on my big rain boots. I will brave this storm for you.
And when I am cold and wet and beyond porch light's reach, trashcans in tow, I will watch the world past your driveway. I will love the way dark turns form to silhouette, how the sound of my steps drown beneath the rain's big hush. I will want to leave you and your trashcans. To wander the earth as all lost things do.
john creates the jigsaw awards for his best trap survivors. he has to re-kidnap them all, and most of the speeches involve the winner cursing him out, but at least he’s sponsored by hulu.

Please do whatever you can to stop KOSA. The internet is supposed to be a safe place for all. And KOSA violating the 1st Amendment and is trying to BLOCK that freedom.
I hope and pray that this awful bill doesn’t pass. For me at least, the internet is a safe place for me. It’s one of the only places I can be myself and be supported by communities and friends I’ve made, and KOSA will tear that apart.
Please, do whatever you can to stop KOSA. Talk to reps, sign petitions, spread awareness. PLEASE.
KOSA will block awareness for world genocides and wars, support for the LGBTQ+ community, and more. It’s not just children they’re trying to “protect” (“protect” in this sense being; “CENSOR AND CODDLE TO MAKE SURE NO ONE IS AWARE OF **REAL** ISSUES IN THE WORLD AND ONLINE.”) .
