honestly i’m so tired of all this gaylor stuff that is going on. look, this is the first time i speak about it and i won’t do it again but i just need to get this off. idk what even started it now, but people seriously need to understand once and for all that it is just as weird to hate an almost non-existent group in the fandom and argue against it to earn coins to be the best fan, while underestimating and prejudging other people you don’t even know, and when you are gonna say hurtful things that you will later on regret, bc there is a 98% chance they will be understood as homophobic even if that wasn’t your intention. that is what it is. 'no but i’m bi and i find gaylors disgusting' that statement is even more damaging tbh, bc once again you are prejudging when you should know better how this hate form has always been harming to the collective you belong to

that’s the main reason ppl are afraid to even joke about it in their own blogs, or analise lyrics under a extremely brilliant, queer lens that is kept to themselves precisely bc the fear of being judged and attacked. i’m a gaylor and i have no shame admitting so, but i don’t talk about it nor write my own connections in terms of her lyrics bc of this, as i felt personally hurt by such judment in the past and talked about it with one only person privately. in fact, if you go to my gaylor tag you aren’t gonna find k*ylor, crazy easter eggs and conspiracy theories, instead it is full of quotes that she herself has said, queer campaigns she has been part of, thoughts ppl have found behind her lyrics and lots of gifs of her wearing lgbt+flag colours - all public. that is all, and i’m even reluctant to rb anything related to her past relationships, just as candids or posts about her current one. which btw does not mean that bc i’m a gaylor i don’t consider it true or that i automatically don’t believe anything she says and think joe is a beard, as most of you simply assume

THIS when that’s all some of you seem to talk about, like every time she releases a rerecording, the memes that circulate are 'well j.jonas will always be mr perfectly fine and all these songs are about him' fact that even his wife got to see and at which they both laugh now, probably to downplay how fucking tired of it they must be. and what about the hate harassment jake has been receiving since red tv came out, which he hasn’t spoken a word about, despite facing even death threats. or the fact that ppl keep saying 'lmao harry you are next, cannot wait for speak now tv so john gets what he deserves.' like ??? but that way of talking about your fave is alright just bc she is straight? is that supposed to make her feel better? isn’t all that just as toxic or even more so?? bc gaylors in general don’t make that much noise or harm to begin with. so to excuse all of this under 'all those relationships have been confirmed by both parties and that is why i have the right to talk about them' sorry but it’s the biggest bullshit i’ve ever heard 1) bc no, most of such relationships have in fact never been confirmed by both parties and by no means have these songs been confirmed by Taylor herself, ever. 2) the fact that a relationship has been public does not give you the right to inspect it and talk about it, once again, as if you were taylor’s bff and not even that !!! as in general friends and real fans don’t talk about her life so frivolously, no matter how much you excuse yourself under this shit that keeps crossing all boundaries

so basically, talk about her private life all you want like i personally dgaf, but i find it quite hypocritical to hate on a minority that happens to be lgbt, casually!! for saying 'hmm wait a sec, wonderland sounds gay and has too many similarities with dianna' 'hmm i wonder what happened there, whether they were friends or not, that was such a weird relationship' which even j.lawrence joked about saying ‘i’d just like to know what’s between kk and ts' - not the best example, but you get where i’m going. frankly, i highly doubt taylor would give a shit if i write a post on a social site she doesn’t even use anymore, that it’s gonna be reblogged by 4 ppl and possibly get 20 hate asks in return, like @13sleepless deals with on a daily basis, which is terrifying and admirable of them. bc who really care about this are those who claim not to be homophobic or have nothing against queer interpretation while continuing to make arguments against it and not only song interpretations, but the very words and actions that taylor herself has done on purpose, under advertising her albums, tours, or whatever and i’m not even talking about easter eggs. i mean, is it not by logic the same to say 'well i’m not declaring anything new if i say that dear john is about j.mayer' as to say 'well i’m not declaring anything new either by saying, hey, taylor made a song/mv full of gay themes, full of ppl from the collective, where she even wears clothing and a bi coloured wig that has been publicly recognized, started a campaign in support and an entire album promo where in the previous mv she said gay pride makes me ME!!!’ like...... isn’t it? sorry weren’t those her literal words?? okay....... then please explain to me how it is for you bc if you really think that doesn’t sound problematic or i’m making it up, it may be time to evalue your own morals and stop questioning those you judge under the same closeted box, without respecting them individually and without wanting to learn a shit about the matter

I like the idea of Hunter being bi, and I think that is a solid reason to believe it. But I don't think it's official canon, and people can still make other HCs and such

I can understand that point of view but at the same time flags and pride colours have always intentional in this show. Hunter wouldn’t have a bi flag on his own clothing for no reason other than the fact… he’s bi. I don’t think the crew would suddenly add that detail for no reason.

It probably doesn’t help that I’ve had some pretty bad, biphobic experiences with this fandom, so the fact I’ve seen people argue the flag is just on there in support of Luz or because he doesn’t know what it means… REALLY rubs me the wrong way. Etc etc. (little tired right now so I can’t really elaborate further, tis past 12am now and all)

However there is one thing. Have you all seen by now Taylor has hired an openly trans man as her love interest? And have you seen the colour of sparkles over him reflect the trans flag?

She's always known what colours reflect our community. She has been that intentional about dropping the lesbian/bi colours, all the rainbows.

Maybe the infamous quote of advocating for a community she's not a part of could be the T within our large community?

Ok I have a question. Isn't it possible for Tae to be so supportive of gay artists because he has really close gay friends? Plus, you mentioned Yoongi is bi and has indirectly said so, Hobi literally put the bi flag on the screen at Lollapalooza (also equal sign, helloo..)... and bts are extremely close. So Tae's exposed to those artists because of his friends and because he's in the industry too. Considering how conservative Korea is, how toxic the fanbase can be, and how they all have to live in a closet regardless of their sexualities, they pretty much have only each other for support. Maybe some family too but idk man. In their position I'd be using my platform to show that it's ok and normal to be gay and slowly change people's minds about it regardless of what my sexuality is. Being supportive of openly gay artists it's the way to do it without being labelled as activist and black listed.

Of course, it's a possibility that Tae could be a supportive straight idol, but in my experience, straight people don't act the way Tae does in relation to queer content.

Firstly, apologies in advance if I'm coming off as a little presumptive, it's not my intention, but I'm going to assume that you might straight. A queer person would understand, that straight allies don't consume queer content in the same way queer people do.

It's peripheral, and on the edges for them. That fact that Tae purposely watched two high profile queer films, buys homoerotic photography, has a profile pic of a naked man from queer artist, purchased art from well known queer artists and is always highlighting very queer music and musicians. It speaks volumes.

Straight artists who are allies, may promote a queer singer/song-writers, may hold the pride flag at their concert or act in a BL drama. Straight will likely only see a queer film or song because their girlfriend suggested and may make an offhand comment. Same with art, books and all queer culture, queer people consume it and then share with each other. Straight people may come across it and find an affinity, but it's not exactly the same.

Also, HYBE is not like other K-Pop companies though, IMHO. I think most people, forget the Bang PD gave Jo Kwon a pair of heels and basically said live your truth to them, he also posted on Pride Month rainbow colours, the company allowed RM to write a Korean queer anthem GLAM, as well as the members to include queer lyrics in their songs. BTS for a lot of their early career were affectively blacklisted anyway, BigHit had nothing to lose and therefore allow them more freedom, creatively.

Of course that changed over time as they became more popular, they still give the guys a lot of leeway. Also, Gen 4 K-Pop artists are a lot more openly queer-friendly both in content and presentation than previous ones and are leading the way in that regard.

and i don’t know how to tell you this in other ways so i’m gonna be blunt: those are primary colors, used in those flags, and by using primary colors you are BOUND to overlap with something that already has been created, even if you would have done a good research on flags

which you don’t even need to dig deep into to find out how many countries did have similiar flags because they settled for primary colours

Small smash headcanons I was thinking of and to put out my reboot designs

Skaar

Skaar took a more gladiator look from his time on Sakaar and no longer wears the loin cloth except for when he's on off days

His hair gets to around his upper back and often tends to be in buns and ponytails

Working on his reading and writing and gets help from Hulk and goes to the Xavier Institute for sessions with his mind control and memories

Got introduced to queer stuff by Rick and he was THRILLED to find out about this stuff and the footage of Skaar carefully picking out non binary, asexual and panromantic stuff was trending for a month

Yes I'm going into pridecanons a little more

Skaar's very happy with his own feelings of being nb. The rocks below him whisper about it always being fine and he doesn't need to care about what others say anyway. Not when they're too busy calling him a monster to care about his gender

Anyway. Skaar's sex neutral and I say this because its quite often the theory that all ace folks won't have kids blah blah but??? Some aces want sex to have kids and that's Skaar.

Ridiculously good sword fighter and often meets up with Nightcrawler and Shadowcat to have sword fights and compare tricks

Lots of whipping scars on his back and some around his mouth that hardly anyone knows are from

Has a matching scar with Red of a circle on the back of his neck as well as running lighting scars up his hands and feet with Rick, Red and Jen from where the Skrulls tried to harvest their gamma

Absolutely has the tattoo and has no clue about it

Occasionally has days where he can't remember the entire event and Skaar's become rather thankful that they can rely on Rick's cameras to guide him home if needed.

Adores the Savage Lands and is best friends with Kazaar and Zabu

Sometimes copies memes from Rick and it’s terrible

Likes having Jen help him with normal stuff, especially when she helps him learn stuff like reading and writing

Rick

Yeah, can’t feel anything and that causes a few secret depression episodes aha

Big on other sensory stuff now. Really likes to savour sights, sounds, taste and smells since he lacks a big ass part of it now. It really isn’t that uncommon for Rick to have a low of flowers within his bedroom and shit.

Has to file down his spikes since they keep growing and often Hulk does it for him while Rick falls asleep

Rick needs a lot more protein now and often eats eggs or fish and gets into big fights with Red over it daily

Uses a stylish for everything since his fingers don’t work on touchscreens anymore

Often wears sleeveless jackets with different pins. Owns four of them with three of them entirely dedicated to alien, mutant and bi rights

Well known Youtuber and I really need to get around to writing some videos he’s done god someone remind me to put out that shit

Hardcore gamer and still screams at Samuel to help make a dating sim come oN-

Can hold his breath for an hour and a half and didn’t realise until he fell asleep in the bath and got woken up by Hulk panicking and tossing him out of the water

Very intent on mutant rights and often helps out with teenage mutants and raising the social status of the school

Loves bi culture and is very defensive over aspects of his identity after years of feeling lost among the orphanages

Has gotten more comfortable with his gender since he’s been wearing kilts and skirts for almost two years now

Used to have scars across his hands and thighs from years of canings from the nuns but now has a large cracked scar across his chest after Abomination ripped his shell off

Red unintentionally fathers him and blames Hulk

Best pals with Jen and Betty and is the only one who gets to join them on Ladies Night with Lyra and Marlo

Stands on his tip toes when talking to Hulk often because he wants to be tall and it amuses Hulk to no end

Jen

Has a lot of different costumes she changes regularly and Rick always posts a vote on “What outfit has Jen got this week?”

Freckles and curly hair galore

Hulk paints her nails and she does the same for him and it isn’t long before Skaar joins in

Works in New York but stays at Vista Verde for her time off

Yes i do want a all female gamma mutate team and yes they are A-force

They consist of Jen, Betty, Lyra, Carmilla and Marlo but are sometimes joined by other female heroes

Wears sweatband wrists, left one is the bi flag and the right one is the trans flag

Was afraid about being open towards loving women for a few years since Jen knew her father didn’t do anything about Bruce’s abuse, what would happen to her if Brian found out she liked more than boys? Came out after hulking out and is happier than ever

The same goes for being trans since Jen’s form is based heavily on her mentality of her body. Gamma gave Jen the body she wanted and she was SO pleased with it

tbh I do imagine she was more comic/noodle armed at the start since Jen wanted to look rather feminine but over time she’s gotten more comfortable with her body and idea of who she wants to be and slowly she got beefier

Has two wardrobes at the base and makes Red help rearrange stuff for laughs

Pals with Samuel and often enjoys sitting around and dragging him out for shopping and starbucks while discussing cases

The one who appears in Rick’s youtube videos the most

Can never finish a book and feels deep seeded adhd guilt

Sings outloud to every thing she hears

Likes grape flavoured stuff and she is so thankful that she can’t die for that sin

BEST pals with Betty and Rick. Like. There’s a reason my “Betty is the OG Hulk and is a lil wlw with Jen” has happened honestly

Has vitiligo patches of grey around her arms that were left over from her more traumatic transformations

Watches Red bake if she’s having a panic attack and the videos don’t help

Red

Has a lot of scars over his body from where Ghost Rider’s chain dug into him and left him burnt. idk seems really fucking cool

Like Jen, has yellow patches along his spine and hands from where he was joined mentally with Zzzax

Still gets nightmares about said incident and is still scared for the day that a nightmare is actually happening

Started to bake because it helps from when he couldn’t control his heat powers or during ptsd attacks

Tends to get lost in work alongside Samuel, especially if they’re overly excited about a certain idea

Hulk fondly calls him a nerd for this exact reason and Red tackles him over it to this day

Tech reacts to him badly sometimes due to his possession issues and there’s been once or twice where he’s had some...odd experiences when it’s come to certain technology or alien tech

Stays the same mostly with his outfits but occasionally wears a leather jacket and fuck it takes his shirt off a lot he’s a dilf he can do that

The one who crouches for humans the most and it isn’t uncommon for him to do it purely to unsettle the humans. Ass

Uh. Likes women but??? Sometimes there’s an annoying guy and shit being able to be easily suplexed now means that anyone who can do it can kinda catch his eyes and he fucked a demon- uh. Red has a lot of thoughts now about dating and it’s nerve-wracking

Still does missions with his Thunderbolt team and still hangs out with Hell’s Circle team when he met others that had been dragged down to hell as well

Gets courted by vampires and hates the fact that the others laugh at it

Gets nightmares of crashing, of electric burning him away but doesn’t want to admit to the fact that he has some ptsd

Not really Red but fuck it Betty has her own team and I’m shifting the Gamma Corps for Betty so her team involves; Betty (Harpy), Marlo (Sirin), Clay (Hulkverine), Lyra (Athen), Carmilla (Scorpion) and Gwen (Daydream)

Right. Uh. So for those who don’t know who Daydream are, basically the writer at this time had been going through a bad divorce and he treated Betty like SHIT which involved breaking Bretty up before they could have a child, making Betty suffer a miscarriage, killing her and having the villain Nightmare raping her in her sleep and having Betty give birth to Daydream who appeared for one arc and was never seen again. So. I’m mad.

anyway fuck him but I did like Daydream so instead she was an experiment from gamma base as a unique weapon that got used to infiltrate the Agents sleep but was later on rescued along with the rest of the gamma experiments. Got adopted by Betty when she found out Gwen had her DNA and went “oh worm?” to getting a baby i have more thoughts about this but u know. carry on.

Hulk

So Tired. Part time team leader and Avengers and even has his many own adventures of trying to help so many people out

I imagine he has a lot of the same issues as Steven in suf where Hulk often stresses out more about not being able to help people since he worries about the worst case scenarios

Gets forced to take days off by each of the team and appreciates it but dear god if he doesn’t get anxiety about the whole situation every time

SomeTIMES he wears a blue shirt but only sometimes and that’s if he’s actually prepared for missions. Also has boots Red got him but Hulk keeps those clean and safe instead

Team dad for a reason. Fathers anything he can get his hands on and well known for it enough that Rick and Skaar get him something for fathers day every year and Jen gets him goofy ties because she KNOWS he doesn’t throw them out

Pretty relaxed about being pan and yes he makes jokes about being attracted to kitchenware he’s THAT terrible Rick wants to die and not come back pls

Buys a lot of pride stuff for the others. Skaar owns so many nb and ace colour chalks he needs help

Really wants to own a guinea pig but he’s worried about scaring it or not being around all that often to take care of it properly

Falls asleep through almost every movie that he usually starts one half of it one day and finishes it the next day

Meets up with Ben Grimm and Logan Howlett every Wednesday for a night out. Usually they do bowling, play cards or go out to eat. It’s isn’t uncommon for other heroes like Spidey or Gambit to join them occasionally

Has business lunches with Betty to discuss movements of gamma mutates that turns into a fun brawl because they’re immortal children

Keeps a whiteboard in his room so that he can have arguments with Joe and Bruce.

Samuel

Keeps his outfit relatively the same but adjusts it slightly so it isn’t the exact same outfit he wears back when he was evil

Tends to cover up more after he gains a power that lets him control people just by touch

Aware of this power and thus often awkwardly flitters when someone near him might be upset and keeps spare gloves or arm sleeves on hard just in case

Has the sharpest teeth of all the hulks and actually tends to file them down so he doesn’t need to “scare people off” when in reality he’s self conscious about his teeth and the fact that he keeps biting his tongue by accident

Buys and redesigns Icarus’s cage every other month to make it more elaborate, is currently fighting the constant urge to buy more rats for this reason

Demiboy! Fine with what he is, doesn’t give a shit. He rules hell and he’ll send you there if you argue with him so who the fuck cares if Samuel wears dresses and makeup?

Big stupid bi. Cannonly into women who are more powerful than him with examples being Rikki (Aka Brilliance, a female Leader) who kicked his ass and threw him across the room with her more advanced mind, Betty Ross...who can blame him, and lately is that one scientist in Hulkverine who Samuel literally fell for within one night sksksk

Big manipulator for people he cares about. Samuel has and will make elaborate plans to keep someone he cares about safe and is more than willing to kill anyone who has hurt his loved ones

Owns a large collection of nail polishes and tends to vary them when he’s bored and creates amazing art. Red watched Samuel once spend and hour re-creating all of Van Gogh’s paintings on his nails

Really good friends with Betty surprisingly, mostly because she can make jokes about being dead and he’ll just snort and go “same”

Has the second best sense of smell after Skaar as he can smell early signs of sickness as well as a wider range of emotions

Info dumps so much and has long winded theories about the oddest things that resonate really well on the Youtube channel

talks to his oversized rat so seriously

Suffers nightmares and currently runs the Down Below and is so tired

Has actually died from exhaustion twice already

Has large sockets in his back due to the fact that Samuel physically cannot hold the information he knows all the time and uses it to charge his phone

Still hangs out with villains like Loki and Mystique tho

So recently, while I was putting the finishing touches on my Henrik video, I decided to go looking for old Guy Henry interviews. Because I could, and also I wanted to see just how many times he’s done the “Henrik’s strange and weird and odd and geeky and socially awkward and neurotic and every other euphemism for autism I can think of” thing.

And see, there was a certain old interview that I’ve always figured had been lost to time. I couldn’t find it on Google, and the Wikipedia link didn’t work. But that night, I decided to go and check the Wayback Machine just in case... and I found it. The famous “Henrik could be gay or bisexual” interview. (Tumblr, apparently, doesn’t want me to include the link here: the post doesn’t show up if I do. :/ I’ll put it in a reblog if anyone wants to see it for themselves.)

This is the bit on Henrik’s sexuality:

It’s interesting how this interview was published before Henrik’s first appearance had even aired, and Guy was already discussing the concept of Henrik being queer - while it doesn’t come up in the show until 2017. (Unless you count the usage of the bi flag colours - pink, purple and blue - as Henrik’s Motif Colours. That’s been a thing for a looong time. But who knows if that’s intentional.)

Makes me wonder if perhaps when Henrik’s character was originally being planned out, there were early concepts that involved him being queer, but the writers/producers at the time decided against it. Then someone stumbled across some old files or something years later and said “hey, this could’ve been interesting”... and the character of John Gaskell came to be. But that’s just my theory, lol.

Sunset Talk - Spideychelle One Shot

They were on the roof of some fucking building in Manhattan and she was sweating because if she told him was in her mind there were only two options: it could all backfire and destroy everything that they had difficulty build in the past year or it could go smoothly and he simply accepts her for who she is. The second one seems a little bit odd, even knowing Peter as much as she does.

After pining after one another for at least some months, she finally asked him out in the weirdest way possible and he had the audacity to laugh in her face before accepting the invite and tell her that he had had the intention to ask her out for quite a while but didn’t have the courage to do it. Their first date was a completely disaster because she left the planning to the Bug-Boy as a revenge of not mastering the courage to do something so simple as asking her out. Their Friday failed miserably because Peter tried to overdo it with things that she liked and not with things that they liked to do together and it backfired directly in his face when she spent half an hour facing a wall of a museum instead of speaking with him. Or maybe it was his plan all along: taking her on the only night of the month when the MOMA was open overtime as a special event for a new painting and letting her be herself in her habitat, without the risk of embarrassing himself with some lame tentative of keeping up the conversation over some fancy dinner in some stupid fancy restaurant.

Maybe that was the key to their relationship: having few things that they liked to do together and a lot of stuff that they liked to do individually, but they both know that seeing the other in their natural element was one of the most beautiful things on the world. Michelle could watch – listen to him rambling about some nerdy stuff seemed a little too much - Peter work some random robot or trying to hack his Spider-Man suit without Tony finding out for hours. She supposes that he could do the same thing when she is in some Art Museum or drawing or reading or writing or doing some nerdy stuff of her type.

She wasn’t the kind of person that talks freely about her feelings, but she is always up for speaking about her idea about some stupid law passed by the Parliament or about how much unfair life was for some people. He was the kind of person whose face speaks for them and his feelings were always shown even when he wanted to hide them; this was the way he used to trap her into speaking about their feelings and it was always on the top of one random building in New York City. The first times it was in Queens, near their house, but as their relationship grow stronger he started to take on his favourite spot around the city and it always had some breathtaking view of their native city. That day it was a building in Manhattan, it had some big banner of the company that worked on the first 30th floors, while the rest was used as apartments, it faced Central Park that was incredibly pink in that period of the year thanks to the blossoming of some plant.

It was the first time that she asked him to go on some building to talk, it usually was to paint the view of just hang with each other in some private space. He was nervously looking at her side ways as if checking if she was really there and then back to his hands just in time to think that he was not be seen by her. “I know that it looks strange that I asked you to talk but I have some important stuff to tell you and I’ve been obsessing over it for at least for a month and I can’t take it anymore” she started and it just freaked him out even more.

“Please don’t dump me. I know that I can be a better boyfriend, I swear that I’ll reduce my time on patrol, if that’s what is bothering you” he started to ramble, putting on himself some guilt that he didn’t have as usual. “Peter, fucking calm down. I’m not going to dump you, I’m afraid that you will do it after what I’m going to tell you” she replied, her voice going quieter as she continued with her sentence.

“But you always tell me that you will dump me on the top on some fucking building if I miss one of our dates for Spider-Man and I arrived late of an hour the last month” he tried to explain his flow of thought and she smiled slightly to herself for how cute he was, not that she was gonna tell him, not even after a year of relationship.”I would have dumped your ass back then if I was angry about it, I’m not crazy enough for keeping it up for a month with your science bullshit if I don’t want to be with you”, he quickly turned to her and tried to force a smile on his face but failed miserably. “But you said that you loved my science ass” he muttered and she was obligated to reply with a “Because your science ass has won us the National Championship, you nerd”.

She said those words with such an affectionate voice that when he looked at her he finally put up a smile that reached his eyes, she rolled her eyes because she loved that boy enough to care about his opinion on her, something that she usually didn’t worry about. “Don’t let it go to your mind, loser” she snarked, trying to rebuild her mask of girl-without-a-heart; she failed when he put his head on her shoulder and kissed softly her neck because she sighed softly at the contact. “Now that I’m a little less worried that you’re not gonna break up with me, do you want to tell me why we are illegally on the roof of some Company that you would probably like to sue for some serious reason?” he kind of formulated the question with a phrase enough long to fool her into replying only to the last part: “This one is pretty good, at least they pay the same their employee regardless of their gender or the colour of their skin”.

She started listing the things that said company did right and wondered if writing them a letter about a better way to treat their waste would be a little disrespectful or totally over the line; he let her talk and replied only when she asked for his opinion, he had one other thing to do: memorize how her frame looked against the reddish light that the sunset was starting to set on the atmosphere. “Peter, you smart ass, you tried to distract me from what I had to say”, she snapped him out of his trance and he grinned before telling her that it was a way like any other to postpone her dumping. The wink he threw her turned the situation from kinda sad to completely fun and they started laughing and mocking each other.

When she had recomposed herself, Michelle tried again to initiate the conversation, but he interrupted her again with a kiss that led to some serious making out. She tried to stop it two times, but he had some pretty convincing ways to keep her when he wanted: on his lap with their lips linked together; it took her all of her will to put some space between her boyfriend and herself and start the topic that she wanted to talk about. “I want to talk about a serious matter and you have to stop distract me with your fucking soft lips” she deadpanned him and he slightly raised his shoulders to apologize for something that he wasn’t sorry for.

“Okay, I will be a good boy and I won’t try to distract you anymore. But you have to say it pretty quickly, because it’s getting pretty late and the sunlight will end in about ten minutes” he informed her. She did a quick thinking about everything that they had done and passed together, telling him was worth losing all of that? Yes, it was because it was who she was and she wanted him to know. “This won’t change the feeling I have for you, because I started to suspect about it before we got together and I have come to the conclusion only around Christmas. I had to process it myself, before being ready to tell someone else and you are the first and the only one whose opinion matters to me”.

“MJ, what are you talking about?” he asked confused, because he had seen her weird during the winter break, but he hadn’t asked her about it because he know that she would talk only on her terms and that she hated when someone tried to force her to speak. “I’m bi” were her simple words and Peter raised an eyebrow and replied with a “So what? I’ve known it since your comment on Rey when me and Ned forced you to watch Star Wars with us”.

She couldn’t believe it, he had knew even before she knew herself. He found out with a dumb comment that she did on Daisy Ridley and she didn’t even thought about it when she said it because it was kinda innocent and completely not related to her bisexuality. “Wait, so you are completely fine with it and it doesn’t trouble you a little” she stated, but it sounded a lot like a question and he replied: “I simply thought that you assumed that it was oblivious and that I had to know it myself. I just feel lucky because you choose me between all the people in the world and we both know it’s literally all”.

She smiled softly at him and peaked him on the lips before he parted himself from her and added: “And wouldn’t it be hypocrite to be angry with you if I’m in the same position?”. It was her time for raise both eyebrows and he raised his shoulder apologetic again and she started laughing at the situation: she had worried for at least four months without reason.

The following day Spider-Man was spotted wearing a bi pride flag as a cape and she smiled at her phone while watching the photos on Twitter; she reposted one of them with the official profile that she, Ned and Peter were administrating together and added “Spider-Man doesn’t wear capes, unless it’s for a good reason :)”, then the exited the App and turned back to her new book.

King Rainbow

@megatraven and I had both done a villain//superhero name randomizer.

Meg got King rainbow and coincidentally, I got Crime Rainbow.

We joked about it for a little bit, but I got inspired and after a long wait I finally got something on paper.

So here is... the first part of King Rainbow.

The story of the Rainbow rivalry starts with King.

King has had her powers since birth and controlled them perfectly. Unlike all the heroes or villains, she never intended to use them like that.

She just wanted to live her life calmly and maybe use her powers to keep her plants alive and give her future cats more nice spots to lay in.

Her powers were rain and sun control. Not in a big way, but to shine some light into an annoying person’s face for a bit and water her plants without getting a high water bill.

Her intentions however, changed when a girl was in danger.

She didn’t even use her powers that day, but somehow, helping a girl when she got robbed, people looked at her from all angles, so she flew off, creating a quick rainbow behind her so people wouldn’t see her face on camera.

Flying wasn’t something King did often, because heroes and villains were always in the sky.

But now she had flown, and helped a girl. Saved her, according to the local city paper. “King Rainbow” they called her. Did they think she was a man?

King wasn’t sure, but decided to find out.

After reading the news article, she knew that her alias “King Rainbow” came from the Burger King the rainbow she made was cast over.

A creative name, that was for sure. But again, she kind of loved it.

After that life changed for her when Crime Rainbow appeared. Someone with slightly similar powers, even though unknown what the specifics were, was vandalizing Burger Kings all around town. It seemed like they wanted to gain her attention specifically and King couldn’t figure out why.

She had only saved one (1!) girl. It wasn’t even a big deal! But someone was trying to get her attention and even though she wasn’t out there, they sure did have it.

Her attention was completely captured when she was walking down the same street she had been that day and someone showed up. Flying above the building there was a person, cleverly disguised with a bi-pride flag as cape and an obviously randomly-picked outfit. The colours clashed horribly, but the flag was cool nonetheless.

Rainclouds formed and King finally saw the powers of Crime in action. Rain moved towards Crime and finally the outfit made sense. Underneath the, apparently not random, oversized sweater, there was water based paint jars on a belt. The water moved through them, side by side, to create a sun-free rainbow that painted the Burger King gayer than it ever had been before.

King would be lying if she didn’t admit she was a little amazed, but still disagreed with her methods. So she decided to change, luckily her house was close and she had a pride flag to spare.

13x07: Let’s Talk About How Pink+Blue=Purple

I noticed something and it made me bounce, so imma share it with you! Okay, so there’s this pattern, right? A colour pattern (ohhh how apt) that keeps popping up all over the place, right? Yeah, so this pattern is the colour pink appearing in relation to Dean being honest or doing something non-performing. Sometimes the colour blue is part of it - usually when Cas is clearly involved in the situation - or the colour purple ((oh that’s a good movie)) is sometimes also part of the context. However, it’s been rare - as far as I know, I’ve just started noticing this so I honestly could not pinpoint more than the few examples I’ve gathered, but it’s consistent - to see all three colours together.

So yeah, clearly these colours have always been significant on this show. Blue has always been tied to Cas through his blue tie and Pink has been tied canonically to Dean through the pink panties (now there’s a suddenly too suggestive sentence) (ahemmmmm) (#nothingstoosmutty) and together they make purple. Of course! What’s more? Here’s what I believe these colours represent:

Pink --> non!performing Dean aka honesty

Blue --> faith/hope/happiness

Purple --> inner balance

Purely my interpretation! But here are some examples of how these colours have been used -->

4x18

Hot pink and blue are connected to Dean’s first show of faith. Dean bangs that blue vending machine because it can’t give him what he wants, but it’s linked to what he wants, which is to feel like there’s hope. And so he gives in and prays, and the real source of blue appears: Cas.

“This is a good thing, Dean,” Cas tells Dean, and look how good things do happen when you open yourself up to the possibility, when you dare to believe they might: you find a way to save your brother from sleeping with evil incarnate. (yay dean!!)

11x13

This is an episode which is so rich in Dean exposition that the mind boggles. I mean, here’s an episode that begins with Dean hungover after having a cheap one night stand on Valentine’s Day and positively craving bacon (eating his own suppressed desires) and he returns in the scene that this gif is from having told Sam he was going to try and get lucky, having failed miserably and being told he has a “dad bod” (he’s getting too old for this shit is what that is meant to tell us) (and he does not really want cheap one night stands anymore) (which is what this episode is all about underlining)

By the end of the episode the qareen appears in the shape of Amara because it’s the one thing Dean can’t resist: women and numbing his real longing with something ultimately meaningless, all of that random sex nothing more than an emotional bandaid for what he really wants. And Dean actually daring to want something for himself, and wanting it as much as he truly truly wants Cas, leaves him with such deep shame, bringing out such a hardwired ability to deny his own feelings, that it actually cloaks Cas from the qareen.

(which is why he needs Mildred - his spirit guide - to call him out on denying the fact that he’s pining)

Look what colour is sat on top of the book that tells them they’re dealing with a qareen:

Yup. Purple. Because the qareen brings the truth, and the truth means balance, and balance, to me, is the colour purple. (where’s the blue here then?) (it’s hidden isn’t it?) (but it’s still so very present)

So the point of the motel being pink is that this is where Dean drops the whole Lady Killer act, it’s where he instead kisses Melissa to save her life and it’s where he confesses to Sam that he doesn’t think he can kill Amara, but that he knows that whatever it is he feels for her isn’t love, or even desire.

He’s getting too damn tired to pretend to be something he’s not. (see what I did there?) (the name of the motel is Too Tired) (.....)

Anyway, in this pink coded motel, Dean tells the truth. He drops the performance.

Of course we all know these pink lights! @tinkdw pointed them out while we were watching the finale and holy moly! Dean choosing to fire that grenade launcher, and effectively save his own and Sam’s life, is symbolic of Dean tearing down his walls and setting them both free, and it’s fucking glorious. But what else is in this scene?

Well, Dean is actually wearing a proper red-and-black checkered plaid shirt in this episode, right? An honest-to-God lumberjack shirt. And do you know where it is when he fires the grenade launcher?

See that purple smudge in this rapid shot? That’s Dean’s lumberjack shirt. With that blue light shining on it. So in this shot we literally have all the colours of the bisexual flag, right? Yes, we do.

(and one is made by the lumberjack shirt) (THE FUCKING LUMBERJACK SHIRT) (get it??) (Cas has in this season called Dean out for the way he dresses to the point of affecting how Dean thinks he should dress and here Dean is saying FUCK IT I LIKE LOOKING LIKE A LUMBERJACK ((and of course Cas likes him looking like a lumberjack too)) ((that’s the whole point of that exchange)) ((Dean calling Cas a third tier agent because he finds him hot as fuck and wants to deflect from this fact)) and Dean saying Fuck It I Like Looking Like a Lumberjack is done visually in more than one scene in this episode where he is literally going through huge steps towards self-liberation) (I mean there should be more than one visual representation of Cas in there, right, since Cas is so integral to any of this actually taking place...) (and so we have the red lumberjack shirt becoming purple because BLUE LIGHT IS FUCKING SHINING ON IT WHAT THE FUUUUUCK???) (okay moving on from the fucking lumberjack detail but FFS ARE THEY KIDDING??)

13x01

Sam talks about Cas and this flare of pink/blue/purple appears. Yeah, I know, we’ve screamed and screamed about it because it’s so amazing.

13x05

Flashing pink lights along Dean’s face (none along Sam’s, which made me react to it as more deliberate than not) (everything is fucking deliberate) as he opens up to Sam about having met Death and all the reasons why he can’t believe anymore. He wants to, but he can’t. He needs a damn win. (then there are flashing blue/pink lights on police cars all over that scene as well) And now - cue a phone call and -->

--> this flash of purple.

Mh-hmh.

13x07

The darling @margarittet observed they were bringing on the bi-colours again (they put them on Dean’s computer screen in a deleted scene from S12 as well) and I just went YASSSS.

(is Dean and Sam both wearing a salmon pinkish colour here or is Dean’s shirt actually more orange?) (I cannot make up my mind) (Sam should wear all the pink) (he’s such a closet shipper) (ooooohhhhh SNAP)

Okay, so now we land in the moment that made me go ommmmmhhhhhh I need to sit in the corner and gather myself together (not really) (or did I?) because FUCKING LOOK AT THIS -->

Look what’s in the shot when Cas tells Dean “Yes, I would like to see you, too. The sooner the better.”

See it? See the three colours there in perfect harmony? Blue, purple, pink!!! *claps hands and dances my lovelies* *we DANCE*

Because, of course, Cas is actually telling the truth here. For the first time in ten fucking years he’s actually expressing his emotions honestly right into the ear of Dean Winchester. Oh my fucking God I can barely breathe with the excitement that what we get as a backdrop are these three colours TOGETHER, because I sincerely believe the only other time we’ve actually had them in a shot together is the above one when Dean fires off the grenade launcher. (but don’t take my word for it) (I’m going to have to do a proper dig to be able to substantiate it!!)

So that said, here’s a disclaimer: this is all theory based in my observations and, honestly, these observations may lead to jack squat. Though, if Jerry Wanek is to be believed - everything on this show is fucking intentional.

And also, there’s this from the Spectacular Spectacular 10x05 -->

Where the “real world” monster, the monster that is actually written in by the actual writers of the show - rather than the gorgeous fan produced version taking place on stage - explodes in a gooey cloud of purple and drenches the unsuspecting audience, apart from one guy who anticipated it: that one guy would be us who actually see what’s coming - thanks for filling me in on this fact @bluestar86!!

So to me here we have purple representing the pink and the blue getting together at the end of this story, exploding purple all over the world.

PROMPT TIME: Oliver trying desperately to hint towards Felicity and Team Arrow that he's queer (you choose which sexuality exactly) by using puns because he wants to come out to them so they can all go to Pride together, until he finally explodes after a few days of nobody picking up on it. Are his puns really that bad!?

(Not) Straight As An Arrow

He started small, with a rainbow-coloured flag in a ceramic pot placed on his desk at City Hall the week that the city was in preparation for its first-ever Pride Parade.

It was perfectly innocuous, as most of City Hall was decorated in various technicolour posters and advertisements for the event, and several of the staff had been sporting rainbow-coloured pins to demonstrate their support, but Oliver’s palms sweated and his fingers shook as he fidgeted with his shirt cuffs most of the morning, tapping the toe of his shoe against the floor in a nervous tic that betrayed his anxiety over what he was planning to do.

Star City had never had an openly not-heterosexual Mayor before.

Oliver was planning on being the first.

After a lot of thinking and agonizing, and all of the things that had happened in the last year - how much he had learnt, how much he’d realized that he needed to be himself in order to be really, truly happy - he had decided that he was going to do something he never done and had always kept secret. Not even Felicity knew, and he had told her so many things about himself, his past, things he’d buried deep under the surface and he hoped would never find their way back…but not this.

He was going to tell the team - and the city - that he was bisexual, and he was going to attend the Star City Pride Parade not as the Mayor in an official capacity, but as Oliver, a person who had lived in so much shame and anger and hurt and fear for so long that he was ready to come out (pun definitely intended) from under it and be honest. One of the few times in his life he ever had been.

The team was his family, and he wanted to show his family that he could be truthful and proud to be who he was. That he wasn’t always going to be the reserved, guarded, aloof leader that they sometimes saw him as.

He wanted to be brave.

And he wanted to come out.

It was just a matter of finding the right way to tell people.

At some point during the afternoon, his assistant, Janine, knocked on his office door to deliver some paperwork for him to sign. After waving her in, he steeled himself for the inevitable conversation he would have about his newest desk decoration.

While handing him the stack of forms that needed his approval, she spotted the little flag waving in its pot and exclaimed, “Oooh, that’s adorable! It’s so great that we have such a supportive and open Mayor in this city.” She paused, before adding shyly, “My wife and I have been waiting for this for a long time. It really means a lot to us, Mr. Queen.”

Oliver smiled widely despite himself, placing his signature on the papers in front of him without much thought. He knew what it was; plans for a go-ahead from the Leisure and Recreation department for a public park in the Glades, somewhere for kids from rough homes to play and have fun away from the troubles their families might be facing. It always made him think of Roy, and how he’d grown up with a single mother with difficulties staying clean, with no safe place to go when things got too much.

“It - it means a lot to me to have your support,” he replied, feeling the nerves rise up in his stomach like bubbles in acid. “Actually, I - it’s a personal issue for me, too, and I feel like this is the right time to be honest with myself about it.”

“Oh, of course, because you’re friends with Curtis, right? Curtis Holt. He works with Felicity Smoak.”

Oliver sat back in his seat awkwardly, fidgeting with his suit jacket buttons. “Ah - yes, Curtis is a good friend of mine, but I was talking about….you know what? Nevermind.” He handed Janine back the paperwork, his throat dry with the words that he was trying to get out but just wouldn’t come. “I guess I’m just not quite good enough yet at being straight with people.”

Janine blinked owlishly, and Oliver saw the confusion clearly on her face. “Good afternoon, Mr. Queen,” she said quickly, turning and leaving, closing the door behind her.

“You sure you can take this guy?”

Felicity was apprehensive, biting at her lip worriedly as she studied the case file of the man in front of her. Giaccomo Felantini, a street dealer who had bad blood with the Irish mob due to a clash between their two powerful crime families a year or so earlier. He was deadly and good at dodging the authorities and, up until now, the Green Arrow, too.

“I can do it,” Oliver said with confidence. “Besides, I have the rest of the team to help if there’s any trouble.”

“You got it, boss,” Rene replied, performing a salute in Oliver’s direction. Dinah and Curtis both nodded in agreement.

But Felicity was still worried. “I don’t know, Oliver. He’s a notorious triple threat. Are you sure you don’t want more concrete back-up?” She leaned back, called out to where Digg was still changing into his Spartan gear. “Digg? What do you think?”

Oliver stepped up to Felicity, resting a hand on her shoulder lightly. He could feel the tenseness of her muscles, how on edge she was. Her skin was warm and soft where his fingertips brushed it. It was so nice to be able to be like this with her again, to have this intimacy and not have it be painful for either of them.

“Felicity,” he said. “I can do it. I’m used to going two ways.” His lips lifted into a half-smile, his eyes intent on her. Please understand what I’m saying.

This isn’t just about the mission. It��s about me.

“What does that have to do with catching an Italian drug-dealing mobster?”

Oliver repressed a sigh. “It’s fine. I’ll be fine.”

He was getting rather irritated with people not being able to understand him.

For days he had been dropping hints and leaving clues, wearing a rainbow pin proudly on the lapel of his jacket and telling the bank teller when he’d gone to check the city accounts that he was particularly excited about the Parade scheduled for that weekend. But all he got were blank looks or people mistaking him for being a very enthusiastic straight ally, which, while he appreciated that it was important to have such support within the LGBT community in Star City, he really wished people wouldn’t assume any more things about him than they already had.

It all came to a head in the bunker one evening.

A meeting had run over at City Hall so he’d arrived late, finding Felicity, Diggle, Dinah, Curtis, and Rene well into the plans for that night’s vigilante activities. He hadn’t had time to change and so had arrived still wearing the little enamel pin he’d bought from a girl with the bisexual pride flag painted on both cheeks selling Parade merchandise outside Star City National Bank - who had also taken it upon herself, with a dazzling smile, to tuck a rainbow-patterned scarf into his jacket pocket, thanking him for his support as Mayor and telling him it was free of charge ‘for the first Mayor we’ve had who wasn’t a total dick’.

He’d vaguely wondered what the city might say if he turned up to work with similar face paint, as that was probably what it would take for anyone to get the hint.

It was Curtis who noticed it first, gushing “Oh wow, cool,” as he pulled the brightly-coloured accessory from Oliver’s pocket. “I knew you were a decent guy. I mean, I always knew you were a decent guy, even if you kind of terrified me, but this -” he took a deep breath, and mortifyingly, Oliver saw tears well up behind his glasses. “It means a lot to me, man.”

“Um,” Oliver said, mostly because he didn’t know what to say - and also because he knew that if he didn’t do it now, he never would. “Curtis, I - well, everyone. I have something to say.”

Five pairs of eyes looked curiously in his direction. He slowly took the scarf back from Curtis and twisted it around his fingers absently, letting the softness of the fabric and the crazy colours of the design ground him.

“The Star City Pride Parade means a lot to me, but not just because I’m the Mayor. I’ve been trying for the last few days to drop hints -” he looked around at the group, his friends, and steeled himself. “And make some jokes but, uh, I guess they fell a little flat?”

“I don’t get it,” Rene said with a shrug. “Does anyone else get it?”

“What are you trying to say, Oliver?” This was Digg, calm and mellow as always, pointing him in the right direction.

He lifted the scarf, waved it slightly in his fist like - well, like a flag.

“The only thing that’s straight about me is my arrows.”

Curtis laughed, “Unless your aim is off, then -”

He paused, his eyes wide as saucers. Everyone was dead silent. And then he said, “Oh. OH.”

Oliver nodded.

And the penny dropped.

“Right on, boss!” Rene shouted, pumping his fist in the air.

“I got your back, Oliver,” Dinah said with a nod. “If they don’t like it, I guess they’ll get to hear what a Canary sounds like.”

“Wow, you really need to work on your coming out jokes,” Felicity shook her head, but her cheeks were pink and she was smiling.

“I’m glad you told us, man,” Diggle added, clapping him on the back in a one-armed hug. “You’ll get no judgement here.”

“But seriously, Felicity’s right. You do need to work on your coming out jokes.”
