I’ll say it, satanists for Palestinian should be a given.
Tenent 2 of the satanic temple
“The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.”
The 9th rule of the church of Satan
“Do not harm little children”
The 6th rule of the church of Satan
“Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved”

Calling all Satanists!
Any age, any kind of Satanism. I require some assistance. I’m doing a research paper on modern Satanism (for an English class but I chose the topic because I care about it) & I’d like to learn about the beliefs & experiences of real individual Satanists. I’ve made a google form asking questions about this. I’d appreciate it so greatly if any Satanists reading this could fill it out. It’d be best if you fill it out by Wednesday 9/13 but if not that’s okay & it’ll still be useful after that.
Thank you! Ave Satanas
Reblogs much appreciated too so hopefully more Satanists can see this

Title: "Unveiling Shadows: The Art of Satanic Ritual and the Suspension of Disbelief"
Posted by Damien Harker | Date: January 13, 2024
Tumblr media
In the tapestry of atheistic Satanism, where skepticism intertwines with the enigmatic, Damien Harker delves into the essence of Satanic ritual—an exploration inspired by the visionary Anton Szandor LaVey. Today, we embark on a journey into the shadows, where the suspension of disbelief becomes a key that unlocks the door to the profound in the realm of ritualistic practice.
[DISCLAIMER: These are my opinions and by no means representative of CoS as a whole.]
Embracing Rituals in Atheistic Satanism:
Tumblr media
Satanism, in its atheistic incarnation, places emphasis on symbolism and ritual as tools for personal transformation rather than acts of worship. Damien Harker, inspired by the principles laid out by Anton LaVey, seeks to understand the role of Satanic rituals in fostering self-discovery and empowerment.
The Art of Suspension of Disbelief:
Tumblr media
At the heart of Damien's exploration lies the concept of suspension of disbelief—an intentional embrace of the ritual's symbolic power without a literal belief in supernatural entities. Much like a theatergoer immersing themselves in a play, the adept suspends disbelief to tap into the psychological and emotional impact of the ritual.
Anton LaVey's Influence:
Tumblr media
Anton Szandor LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, emphasized the psychological aspects of ritual, recognizing the power of symbols and archetypes in shaping human consciousness. Damien Harker draws inspiration from LaVey's pragmatic approach, where rituals serve as psychodramas, potent tools for self-exploration and personal growth.
The Theater of the Mind:
Tumblr media
For Damien, Satanic ritual becomes a theater of the mind—a space where symbolism intertwines with personal narratives, allowing for a deep exploration of the self. The suspension of disbelief transforms the ritual into a visceral experience, unlocking the potential for profound introspection and psychological metamorphosis.
The Rituals; Akin to Personal Alchemy:
Tumblr media
In the vein of Satanic philosophy, Damien views Satanic rituals as a form of personal alchemy—a transformative process that transmutes the symbolic elements of the ritual into psychological gold. Through intentional suspension of disbelief, participants immerse themselves in the rich symbolism, allowing the psyche to absorb and integrate the ritual's archetypal power.
Conclusion: Beyond the Veil of Symbolism:
Tumblr media
As Damien Harker navigates the intricate dance of Satanic ritual, he invites us to peer beyond the veil of symbolism. In the suspension of disbelief, he discovers a gateway to psychological profundity—an avenue through which atheistic Satanism becomes a dynamic and empowering force. Inspired by Anton Szandor LaVey's legacy, Damien embraces the art of Satanic ritual, where the suspension of disbelief transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, and the shadows become a canvas for self-discovery.
Thank you for reading and may the Luciferian Light guide you on the path of Skepticism and Enlightenment. Until we meet again, I am Damien Harker.

Here’s a few photos of Michael Aquino, US military intelligence officer *specializing in psychological warfare* and the founder of the Temple of Set, by personal statement: “U.S. Army, career officer specializing in psychological warfare, began 1968, became Lieutenant colonel in military intelligence, retired; served in Vietnam. Ordained Satanic priest, c. 1971-72; Temple of Set, founder and leader, 1975-96.
WRITINGS:
The Church of Satan, privately printed, 1989.
SIDELIGHTS: In 1969, one year after Michael A. Aquino both graduated from University of California Santa Barbara with a B.A. in political science and joined the army as a psychological warfare specialist, he joined the Church of Satan, headed by Anton LaVey; Aquino then served a tour of duty in Vietnam. When he returned, the army stationed him in Kentucky and he became a priest within the Church of Satan, forming a grotto—a group of believers—that met in his home there. Aquino soon became disenchanted with the Church, however, under LaVey's leadership, and in 1972, he, along with Lilith Sinclair—a Church of Satan leader who eventually married Aquino—split from it. This split appears to stem, in large part, from the two men's conflicting ideologies: LaVey, an atheist, believed that Satan did not exist but rather represented, as a symbol, strength and defiance; Aquino, on the other hand, believed in the literal existence of Satan, and in 1975, he established a church of his own, known as the Temple of Set.”
These are just some snippets from your leaders’ watchdogs biographies... I mean 🤡🤡🤡
Our civilization is a joke and it should collapse.

Ive had some really bad art block since I started working at Target back in July, probably from being so stressed out. I feel bad for not posting more work here, so heres something I made quite awhile ago, back when I still lived in WI. Like, way back. December 2022 way back. Im still really proud of this, I think its one of my best pieces, and I want to do one for Alister Crowley too. I think I might even do one for Lucien Greaves since Im a TST Satanist and not a LaVeyan Satanist.

The Nine Satanic Statements by Anton Szandor LaVey
Tumblr media
1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!
2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!
5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!
7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!
9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!

Friendly reminder that Anton LaVery was Just Some Guy. He was not a historian, a theologian, or any other kind of expert on religious history. His books are not credible sources on any religion other than the one he founded. Anything he says about Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Paganism, or some claimed "traditional" form of Satanism should be taken with a massive grain of salt and a lot of outside research.

“Religions are easy to invent. Most traditional religions have little or nothing to do with reality, are dependent on obfuscation, interpretation, guilt, and unreasoning faith.”
