- Abby’s main source of comfort is hand holding. She often doesn’t feel safe or comfortable in some places or situations and she often clings to the closest thing that she can get her hands on for some sense of comfort

- Mike figured this out when she desperately held his hand when she saw a classmate who bugged her at school when doing some grocery shopping. Now it’s a routine, whenever they’re both somewhere which feels overwhelming, they tend to take each other’s hand

- When they both have nothing to do, they have some drawing time together, and they do little competitions and beg each other to draw random things for each other. Their dining table is just scarred with crayon dust and pencil lead at this point

- Whenever Abby gets in trouble at school for something that either is or not her fault, Mike doesn’t scold her like a strict parent. Instead, he listens and offers advice after some comforting. Abby tends to take this opportunity to vent out her problems. After all, Mike knows how it feels to not be heard

- You best believe Mike teaches Abby at least some self defence. He teaches her about the boy’s vital points, it makes it easier for each other since Mike is a male so he know’s how effective it is. So whenever there’s a weird guy, or a bully, or someone who messes with Abby and Mike isn’t there, she’ll beat their ass (quite effectively)

- Abby is pretty self aware at times, Mike notices this and tries to make her act like her age so she doesn’t grow up to be a ‘tall child’ when she’s older

- They don’t realise how much Mike’s habits tend to inhabit on Abby. Their snarky remarks, doodling habits, introverted selves, the need of plushies by their side, creativity and their self awareness. It’s like two entirely different fonts but with the same writing

- Abby sometimes feels left out in school since the only guardian figure she has in her life is just her older brother, no mother or father. Sometimes she feels lonely, but also really lucky, she has seen and heard the struggles of having two parental figures and mean older sibling scenarios. Sometimes she gets reminded that even though both her and her brother are quiet with each other, they have no problems with each other

- Abby seems to be a chatter box type, but only to her brother. Mike sees her as some innocent young girl whose curiosity and chatty manner is over the roof, when really she only seems to show that side of herself to her brother. She just side-eyes everyone whose a stranger to her and scribbles some drawings out

- They’re both wiry but strong. Mike may be short but he can really kick some ass (fountain scene). As well as Abby (I don’t actually think it’s canon but I always imagine her to have some quite effective hits when she’s really angered)

“you’re good with children,” barbatos observes, and you sigh.

i was scrolling through my older reblogs (i needed the comfort of months ago when everything was right in the cod fandom) and i found your wolf shifter!soap post and it got me thinking.....

wolf shifter!soap and cat shifter!ghost together!! i have a few ideas:

soap is an extremely affectionate wolf, likes to cuddle and LOVES kisses (both receiving and giving) so it is not uncommon to find ghost sitting resignedly and shooting daggers at him while his fur is being re-arranged by a huge over-enthusiastic wolf

soap is not really aware of his size so he keeps knocking people off their feet - he accidentally tramples over ghost and smacks him in the face with his tail regularly

the size difference is ridiculous and soap doesn't let ghost live it down that he is taller in their animal forms

price and gaz have a shared folder of pictures of them sleeping in the most ridiculous positions in price's office - their favourite is soap laying belly down sprawled on the floor with ghost starfishing on his back, feet dangling

during the winters both of their furs thickens up and ghost physically cannot stop nuzzling and cuddling soap (like this: https://hu.pinterest.com/pin/844495367647877613/)

ghost loves travelling on soaps back and that's the hill i'm gonna die on

thinking about them made me giddy. i'm dying to know if you have any additions, your cat shifter!ghost content makes my day every single time i see one, seriously i can't get enough

oml this is so cute i love this so much

i think despite being smaller in shifted size, ghost is absolutely still The Boss. like sometimes he will leave soap begging or whining or exposing his belly when he wants attention from ghost, but ghost just refuses—be it he doesn’t want to get slobber on him, he doesn’t want to deal with the smell of dog breath, whatever, he decides to make soap work for attention.

unfortunately it’s difficult to deter soap because really, he could just grab ghost by the scruff and bring him wherever (and has… only once), or he could just persist in general, and ghost is forced to give in easily—not even a few smacks on the snout make soap’s tail wag any less. but ghost doesn’t… entirely mind, because he has to admit, soap is a pretty good nap spot.

and even though they’re playfully mean to each other all the time, as a team they can easily, easily wrap themselves around anyone’s finger if they play up the cute interspecies relationship, because shifter status is something kept under wraps outside of the team—security risks, and all that. so no one knows these are trained and highly skilled soldiers just trying to trick people into getting them things.

when he walks into your room for the first time he literally just stands there in the doorway like 😦

he’s so flustered seeing all the posters and plushies of himself situated around the room 

he can’t stop smiling when you enthusiastically take him by the arm to give an impromptu room tour

like he tries to act all calm and indifferent but inside he’s just whwhsnjhdwkh

​​he reluctantly admits the plushies are cute, but when you offer him one, he awkwardly refuses

and then you go to put it back and he’s like “hey, wait, I was joking!” and wrestles it from your grip

♪ "You really went all out, huh?" he frowns, but there's a playful glint in his eyes. Deep down, he's touched that you've dedicated your room to him. 

He tries to keep up the act, shooting you a sidelong glance with a half-smile, but it's evident that he's struggling to keep his composure. His cheeks tint with a subtle shade of pink, and he's fighting to suppress the grin threatening to break free. It's a strange mix of embarrassment and flattery, seeing how much you appreciate him. 

“Come on, Aki, you know you love this!” you say.

Finally, he sighs, the corners of his lips betraying a genuine smile. 

"Alright, alright, you win. But only because it's you," he admits, his eyes softening. "I never thought my face would end up plastered all over someone's room. You really know how to catch a guy off guard."

You grin.

"But," he continues, a mischievous glint in his eyes, "I know a thing or two about catching someone off guard too." 

Before you can respond, he closes the gap between you, his lips meeting yours in a playful yet sweet kiss. As he pulls away, there's a teasing smile on his face.

 "Consider us even now.”

“Do you like it?” you ask excitedly.

“Why wouldn’t I? They’re all me, after all.”

You cross your arms at his arrogance, but can't help the smile that tugs at your lips. Rui had always been confident, but since stepping foot into your room, it seems to have grown tenfold.

He pulls you closer, his hand resting on the small of your back. "But you know what would make your collection even better?" he asks, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Ooh, what?" you ask, intrigued.

"More of me," he says with a smirk, his gaze traveling to your bed filled with plushies. "Maybe a body pillow?"

“Rui!”

“Hm? I’m sure you would enjoy it.”

after what seems like eternity of silence he just goes AHSAHSJAKAK (the typical tsukasa scream yk)

IMMEDIATELY gives you a big hug; he matches your energy so well

 if there's a poster with him in it, then he'll love standing in front of it and striking poses for your amusement

sits on your bed and pretends to be one of the plushies just to hear your cute laugh

“My eyes have been blessed by the sight of this glorious shrine! I am unworthy of such devotion, and yet, here it is!" Tsukasa dramatically threw himself onto the plushie-covered bed, hand over his heart.

"Tsukasa, you're being a bit—"

"Shh! This is my moment of gratitude!" He interrupted, eyes sparkling with mock sincerity.

"Okay, I'm listening," you said with an amused smile.

He clasped his hands together, looking up at the ceiling as if addressing the merchandise gods. "Thank you, [name], for bestowing upon me this sanctuary of Tsukasa. I shall carry the weight of this honor with the grace of a thousand swans and the dignity of a soaring eagle. May the Tsukasa vibes forever resonate in this hallowed space!"

You burst into a fit of giggles, unable to contain it any longer. Tsukasa, satisfied with his grand thank-you speech, looked at you while beaming.

As the laughter subsided, Tsukasa gently cupped your face, his fingers tender against your skin. He leaned in, closing the gap between you with a soft, lingering kiss. 

“Thank you so much, [name]!”

he takes in the room for a few moments before breathing out a soft “wow”

it srsly means SO much to him when his s/o is his biggest fan

he reaches out to touch some of the items, almost as if to confirm that it's real.

Eventually finding his words, Toya turns to you with a soft expression and says, "Thank you. This... means a lot to me."

You smile cheerfully.

“You deserve it, Toya! You don’t give yourself enough credit.”

"You didn't have to go through all this trouble for me," he says softly.

You shake your head and pull him into a hug. Toya hesitates for a moment before returning the hug, a genuine warmth in his embrace. 

"You're worth every bit of trouble," you assure him, the sincerity in your voice echoing your unwavering support. "Seeing you happy and appreciating this makes it all worthwhile.

As you hold each other, he speaks, his voice muffled against your shoulder, "I just... never expected someone to believe in me this much. It's a bit overwhelming, you know? But in a good way. …I love you."
