i have so many thoughts about paulkins kids. there are many options, and lucky for us, we know that paulkins exist in every universe.
in one, when paul and emma aren’t yet dating but are “intimate” emma misses her period. she goes to a doctor and gets confirmation. she panics because she and paul aren’t serious yet, but she realizes how happy the idea of having a family with him makes her. they have a daughter, addison jane perkins-matthews, that everyone calls a.j. she has emma’s hair and paul’s blue eyes, and she loves to swim.
in another universe, they don’t have a kid until they’ve been married for a few years. it took them a while to get there, with emma wanting to take things slowly and paul waiting for her no matter what, but he takes her name and they become the perkins’. when they have their son, they name him matthew after paul’s family. he’s got paul’s lighter brown hair and his blue eyes, but he still manages to look more like emma. he was made for the kitchen, and loves loves loves cooking and baking.
there’s another universe where emma and paul have twins girls, elizabeth and olivia. the two could not be more polar opposites, with lizzie being less feminine, loving soccer and sports, and livvy being so extremely femining, wanting to be a fashion designer, but they are always there for each other. the two love each other and always manage to support each other’s passions.
in another universe, they have a family of five, brianna, christopher, and freddie. bri is an artist, always painting and drawing. christopher loves to dance, and to paul’s horror joins theatre in high school. paul learns to love performances when it’s his son, seeing the joy and determination in his face. freddie loves to read, will devour a book so quickly it’s actually a little frightening. paul and emma watch their kids fight across the dining table and smile fondly.
sometimes, they don’t have kids at all. emma’s commitment issues making her hesitate, or her issues with her own parents (which i am headcannoning). maybe paul, who only ever says “kids, someday, maybe” decides he only ever felt pressured into wanting kids. sometimes only one doesn’t want kids, sometimes both, but either way they always respect it.
sometimes they take too long. paul pines for years, emma doesn’t want to label it, and by the time they’re ready, they’re told emma can’t have kids.
there’s a universe where they keep a foster home, their house a revolving door for kids who need a place to stay. they look out for each and every one of them, giving them a place to feel safe and good people to look up to.
there’s a universe where they adopt a pair of siblings who lost their parents too young, the older maddison always having to look out for her little brother michael. maddie never had time to have a hobby, or a passion, but in their safe space she can admit to herself that she wants to be a filmmaker. mike adores his older sister, and loves to play the guitar.
in one universe, they adopt a toddler who was mistreated by his guardians. harry took a while to warm up to them because of this, but they helped him adjust and recuperate and grow from it all. he grew up to be a botanist, loving learning about biology from his figurative grandpa hidgens.
basically, i just want and need happy ending paulkins who have a happy domestic little life and shit.

I'm curious about your take on Vincent from Young Royals
Okay! I didn’t think I had thoughts but then I did.
First impression: “Hmm, that kid’s haircut looks like he’d be in an early 00s boy band. But specifically a C-tier boy band. He’d be the guy who shares a first name with one of the much more popular members and therefore always gets referred to as Firstname Lastname to distinguish himself from the more popular one.” That thought, but in fewer words.
Impression now: Vincent does a lot of work as a foil to other characters and I appreciate the way he creates contrast. He’s horrible and gross in a teenage boy way, but there’s almost a familiarity in his particular brand of grossness. Like you have August being unpleasant and complicated and that can be a lot to take in emotionally, so sometimes it’s a relief when the scene cuts over to Vincent being unpleasant in a far less complicated way. Now that I’ve said that Lisa’s going to probably hit me over the head with surprise Vincent character development in season 3. I AM TEMPTING FATE I KNOW.
Favorite moment: I don’t know if this is a specific moment so much as me building on the point I said above, but I find it humorous how Vincent takes his season 2 leadership roles way too seriously. Like calm down, Vincent. (He reminds me a bit of this kid Jeff who used to bully me in gym classes, who used to get mad at me for not being athletic enough and messing up whatever game we were playing. Somehow we were always on the same team. I think one day I just yelled at him “I’m better at math than you, Jeff! PE isn’t everything!” before throwing a wiffle ball at him half-heartedly and walking away.)
Idea for a story: I would like to see someone do a series of vignettes (like a five things style, maybe?) starting in Vincent, August, and Nils’s first year when they’re all sharing a triple room together and think they’re all gonna be best friends who rule the school one day. And then over the course of all the vignettes they realize that due to the emotional repression that’s been socialized into them as upper class men, they’ve never had a real conversation and they don’t really know one another at all. I feel like that’s the kind of depressing gender-influenced character study I’d find pretty interesting.
Unpopular opinion: Are there popular opinions about Vincent I could disagree with? I realize this is a gap in my fandom knowledge.
Favorite relationship: I admit I find it kind of amusing that Vincent just straight up hates Walter for no reason.
Favorite headcanon: Okay this is my one singular softer Vincent headcanon, inspired by the fact that my friend @whambamglambam once asked “why does Vincent have a necklace that looks like a kindergartener made it?” So my thought was, Vincent was initially the youngest of three siblings, enough that he was probably an accident, and his two older siblings are already out of university and such when Vincent started Hillerska. But then Vincent’s parents got divorced and his dad married a much younger woman (like a stereotypical rich guy on his second marriage situation, it was a whole awkward family drama) and now Vincent has a stepsister who’s four or five and she made him the necklace. Vincent is capable of being a jerk to pretty much anyone and everyone except his small adorable stepsister and basically he would fucking murder someone to protect her. I just thought you all should know that.
Anyway, followers. PLEASE SEND ME MORE CHARACTERS TO DISCUSS I WOULD LIKE TO CHAT WITH YOU MORE ABOUT FICTIONAL PEOPLE. Thank youuuu.

Riverdale, Ep.7x16
With only five episodes left, what fresh hell have they brought this week? Well, there's about four stories going on. One that was stupid, two that were...there but (reading some of the synopsis for some of the episodes) probably are going somewhere, and the last story...actually wasn't completely horrible.
So, the episode starts with Jason Blossom getting a stag film. Long story short, Veronica is going to host the film at her theater and invites Betty along so she isn't the only female there. However, as the film starts, Betty realizes the woman in the film is Polly and she ends up stopping the film.
And from there I'm going to break down the rest of the stories individually. Reggie and Archie keep buying stag films from Jason, but the first one turns out to be two men and the second one breaks. Archie comes to the realization that Kevin *might be* gay (sigh).  Archie and Reggie end up having a threesome with Twila Twist. And I don't care if they are actually in their twenties or this is the 1950s, that is an adult woman having sex with two sixteen year old boys. Archie and Reggie contemplate the sun rising and tell each other that that love each other. And I would say that they probably mean that in a more bro way then sexual, except as everyone is getting with everyone...
Meanwhile, Jughead is fighting the Comics Code. The history of the Comics Code is very real, very scary, and something people should probably brush up on considering some of the proposals law makers are making RIGHT NOW. Except, in this universe, the Code is created by four people in Riverdale and all of America just decided, fuck it, I guess. Anyway, Jughead looses his battle against the Fearsome Four. However, as he's telling Veronica his plight (he had asked for her advice earlier in the episode) at her apartment, well, it seems like their romance (or teenage hormones) might be rekindling. Are we about to have a triangle with Betty and Jughead fighting for Veronica, or did the show forget the whole Betty/Veronica universe kiss? I'm guessing option two.
Cheryl and Toni decide to take pictures based on some they saw in an underground Lesbian magazine. Of course, they're risque. And, even though they've been trying to lay low for two episodes...well, we only have five episodes left so, of course, Cheryl would decide to take one of the photos and create a very detailed painting from it. and leave it in her bedroom. Where her mother can just see it. And, of course, Penelope sees it and destroys it. So Cheryl wants to put her family in their place once and for all. Toni, earlier in the episode, mentioned the magazine takes photos and Cheryl wants the negatives, so I can guess where this is going.
Finally, going back to Betty. Betty contacts Polly and finds out her sister is a Burlesque performer and, according to Veronica, it seems that she is one of the most popular ones out there. She's basically Gypsy Rose Lee. Alice and Hal know about Polly's career and have cut her off. But, guess what? Polly, not being in that toxic hellhole, is thriving! She's happy, she's getting married, she's living her best life. And she convinces Betty that Betty can do the same. And finally we have the moment I have been waiting seven years for. Betty finally tells Alice that Alice is the reason why the family is falling apart (which kind of is a call back to the first season where Betty feels the responsibility to keep her family from falling apart), that Alice is a miserable person, that Betty is no longer going to let Alice control her life, and once she graduates high school, Betty is getting the hell away from Alice. Please, please writers, do not walk this back. Do one right thing before this show ends.

Future AU
The infamous Matsuno brothers known for being lazy moochers without jobs have finally moved out of their old family home and started their own lives. Some have successful careers, some have families of their own, and are overall enjoying the freedoms of independence. However, not everything is perfect after they start living on their own. Now in their thirties, they get an up close and personal look at adult life and deal with the stress and uncertainty that comes with it.
Osomatsu - had two kids with his ex-wife Mirai, but now lives alone. Him and Mirai didn’t have the best relationship when they were still married. He kept losing jobs left and right thanks to his alcohol dependency, causing his once kind wife to lose her patience with him. Screaming matches were common between them to the point that their kids barely reacted to the raised voices. There would even be times that they’d hit each other. Eventually, they got divorced and she got full custody of their kids because of his lack of a stable income. He’s only allowed to see them a few hours every week. She began telling her kids bad things about Osomatsu, so they’ve now basically turned against him and avoid him during the few hours a week that he gets to see them.
Karamatsu - a single father with a five year old daughter named Princess. He accidentally got his ex-girlfriend Chiyo pregnant, and although he was nervous about what the future would hold, he promised to himself that he’d be the best partner and father that he could be. Unfortunately, Chiyo didn’t want to endure the stress of motherhood, so when Princess was around three, she just packed up and left. She never tried to contact Karamatsu and never told him where she was going. Now he was left to raise a child by himself. He still wanted to keep his promise and does his best to be an attentive and loving father despite his untreated mental health issues.
Choromatsu - a married man with a son named Kaede. As one would expect, he’s a stern but compassionate father to Kaede. He wants to make sure that he’s successful in life, so he pushes him to excel in his studies. However, this can go too far since he sometimes pushes his son to the point that it causes anxiety in him. He’s basically living vicariously through Kaede’s achievements. Kaede tries to rebel and prove to Choromatsu that he’s his own person, but that usually results in him throwing empty cups on the floor, saying “damn it”, and messing up his hair.
Ichimatsu - has no partner or kids and lives with his many cats. After moving out of his parents’ home, he decided to live in the nearby gay district because “the rent was cheap” (but it was really because he’d recently realized that he liked men as well as women and wanted to live somewhere where he didn’t feel a need to hide that). In order to make enough money to pay the bills, he became an adult actor, leading to a more deteriorated mental state. He only leaves the house to buy groceries, to go to work, and to meet up with nearby stray cats. When he’s not doing that, he’s usually walking around the house in his underwear and drinking soup straight out of a can.
Jyushimatsu - is in a polyamorous relationship with a lot of kids. He has a boyfriend as well as a girlfriend and has a large family with them. It’s a running gag that you don’t see the same kids twice and it’s never revealed exactly how many he has. He’s usually caring for them while his partners are at work and spends most of the day chasing them down to make sure they don’t get hurt. Because of his high energy, he’s capable of this daunting task and he seems like he’s fine throughout the day. When his kids have been put to bed, he passes out and doesn’t wake up until noon.
Todomatsu - an actor with a decent amount of money. After he left his childhood home, he decided that he wanted to act in movies and started out by accepting minor roles in small films. Not wanting to wait for the high life, he began dating a much richer man who spoiled him. Once he got his career off the ground and started seeing success and money, he left his boyfriend since he didn’t need him to spoil him anymore. They’re still friends to this day and sometimes go to expensive restaurants together to catch up.

    ▫    carol  perkins'  life  is  essentially  the  prime  example  of  how  rich  people  can  get  anything  they  want  without  really  working  that  hard  for  it.  case  in  point:  her  getting  into  a  pre-law  course  and  subsequently  a  spot  in  indiana's  top  law  school  (  if  that  ever  meant  anything  )  all  thanks  to  her  dad's  connections.
    ▫    this  really  is  just  a  heads  up  that  carol  is  not  a  good  person.  i  think  that  going  out  to  indianapolis  and  realizing  she  isn't  hot  shit  (  at  least,  not  as  much  as  she  was  in  hawkins  )  in  a  relatively  bigger  city  kind  of  knocked  her  ego  down  a  peg,  but  when  she  returns  to  hawkins?  it's  like  the  mean  girl  carol  perkins  never  left,  so  it's  kind  of  a  relief  that  she  doesn't  return  to  town  so  often.
    ▫    in  all  honesty,  her  parents  kind  of  expected  her  to  drop  out  mid-way  through  her  undergrad  to  marry  tommy  hagan,  though  carol  surprised  them  all  well  enough  when  she  dumped  him  during  the  spring  break  of  her  freshman  year  of  college--  something  about  long  distance  not  working  between  the  two  of  them,  but  really,  she  just  wanted  to  fuck  around  in  college  without  having  the  repurcussions  of  being  in  a  relationship.  i'd  imagine  their  break-up  to  the  the  scandal  of  hawkins  for  a  hot  minute,  because  they
    ▫    in  relation  to  the  above,  i  don't  think  she  talks  to  anyone  from  hawkins  at  all,  really.  whenever  she  comes  back  home,  it's  only  for  a  short  while,  and  she  only  ever  hangs  out  with  the  group  of  people  she  usually  did  in  high  school,  and  even  then  all  she  talks  about  how  much  better  it  is  now  that  she's  living  in  indy,  away  from  all  the  small  town  folk  that  take  up  residence  in  hawkins.  pretty  big  head  for  someone  who  still  keeps  coming  back,  either  way.

100 Different Kisses
28. an accidental kiss between two exes
The divorce was hard on all of them, but it had affected Arianna the greatest.
At nine, she had put on a good face, pretended she was okay with the new state of her family. But at nine, she was also still little more than a child.
In the days immediately following their separation, Will had worried about her constantly, remembering his own childhood being bounced back and forth between his parents, never feeling like he had a place to call his own, a home. He never wanted that for his little girl, and he’d hated that he’d failed her.
But things between him and Sonny had been so stressful, so untenable that they mutually agreed it would be better for Arianna to live in Will’s house and visit Sonny during the days with occasional sleepovers, rather than live in a house with them both where they were always shouting at each other, always angry, always afraid that they might end up taking it out on her.
He’d asked Marlena about it, how to provide Arianna with some semblance of normalcy in the aftermath of the divorce. She had suggested that the three of them still do things as a family, if it wouldn’t be too difficult for him and Sonny, even if they separate at the end of the day.
He’d talked to Sonny about it and they’d agree that they could put aside their own feelings for their daughter’s sake.
So they spend as much time together as their schedules allow. Usually, after she’s done with school for the day, Will brings Ari to Common Grounds to visit with Sonny while Will sits at a corner table drinking coffee and writing articles for The Spectator. They try to eat dinner together as many nights as possible, sometimes at the Brady Pub, more often at either Will or Sonny’s house. On Saturdays and Sundays they meet at the Pub for breakfast and spend the days doing Ari’s chosen activity.
All in all, their life is basically much as it was when Will and Sonny were married, except they rarely fight at all anymore and they go home to empty beds.
Will isn’t going to lie and say that he doesn’t miss Sonny. He does. They were together for a decade. But he also feels in the deepest parts of his heart, that maybe that was the problem. In the early days of their marriage, they had fun together, built a new layer to the friendship they had had years before it had morphed into something more. They had been so young when they’d gotten married. Looking back on it, he wonders if they were too naïve to realize that marriage wasn’t just friendship with rings on your fingers. It was gritty, hard work to keep it afloat; somewhere along the way they’d stopped having fun together and they’d lost their friendship.
But in the year since the divorce, Will has realized that they have fun again when they’re together. They laugh often, be silly around each other, poke fun at each other without concern that it will be taken the wrong way. They’ve reclaimed their friendship and Will couldn’t be more grateful, even if at night sometimes he still wishes they were still falling asleep together.
“Hey. Ari all set for the show?” Sonny asks, snapping Will out of his reverie.
They’re in the hallway of Ari’s school, waiting to be let into the auditorium for the annual end-of-year talent show.
Will smiles. “Yeah. She’s backstage with her friends.” Just then the doors to the theater open. “Should we go get seats?”
Sonny nods and follows Will into the middle of a row five rows back from the stage.
“Have you seen her full act?” Sonny asks as they settle in their seats, taking programs from the usher walking up and down the aisle. “She refused to do it for me when I had her the other night. Insisted that I would have to wait for the show.”
“Let’s just say that I’ve heard it,” Will answers.
Sonny huffs out a laugh. “That bad?
Will grins. “I don’t know if any of the other kids are actually good, but I will not be surprised if she gets knocked out in the first round,” Will admits on a laugh. I’m fully ready to buy her three ice cream cones to soften the sting.”
Sonny’s shoulders shake with laughter. “Aren’t you supposed to say she’s the best singer ever?”
“Oh. I told her that,” Will says. “But I’m telling you that she has the Brady-Horton family talent for being a terrible singer.”
Sonny guffaws and hides his face in his program to stifle the sound of his laughter.
When he’s caught his breath, Sonny asks, “Do you remember that time we did karaoke in Switzerland when we were visiting your aunt and uncle the Christmas we first started dating?”
Will cheeks flame even as his grin makes his cheeks hurt. “You teased me for a week about it!”
“You didn’t sing one note on key,” Sonny replies, breathless with laughter again.
“Oh, and like you did, Mr. American Idol?”
Sonny snorts with amusement and devolves back into belly laughs. Will laughs with him, joyful at the memory and being able to have this easy banter and lightness with Sonny once more.
Will hasn’t realized how loud they’re being until he catches other parents looking at them funny.
The lights dim and they each take deep, steadying breaths to control their laughter as the emcee walks out on stage.
“Here we go. Looks like Ari’s third in the order,” Sonny whispers, examining his program.
He’s right.
Following the emcee’s explanation of how the talent show is going to work (the fifteen acts will all perform, then the judges will narrow it down in four rounds of elimination based on those performances: fifteen to ten; ten to five; five to three; and then a winner will be announced from the final three), the first girl comes on stage. She’s a truly terrible flautist, hitting all the wrong notes and needing to take multiple breaths between each note. The second act is no better: a boy who Will vaguely thinks is in Ari’s class tries to tell jokes, but the only laughs come from who Will assumes are his parents.
“Ready?” Sonny asks anxiously and grabs Will’s hand on the arm rest between them.
Ari walks on stage in her bubblegum pink princess dress and rhinestone-studded tiara, a microphone grasped firmly in her hand.
They both wave at her even though they’re not sure she can see them.
The first notes of the Disney song Will has listened to on repeat for the last two months starts playing, Ari opens her mouth against the microphone, and - she’s actually decent. Or at least not terrible. Or at least not as terrible as the two acts before her. She hits most of her notes and only loses her breath once. At the end, she throws her arms wide and curtsies. Will and Sonny clap loudest over the seemingly genuine applause and cheer her off the stage.
“She was good!” Sonny says as the next contestant walks onto the stage.
The twelve acts that follow Ari’s performance range from similarly decent to Ari’s performance to truly abysmal.
After the last act - a boy with no rhythm banging on the drums - leaves the stage, the lights come back on as the emcee announces a ten minute break for the judges to confer and rank the acts.
“Do you want anything?” Sonny asks, standing up. “I’m gonna go get a soda.”
“A strong beer?” Will jokes.
Sonny grins.
“Soda’s fine. Thanks.”
Sonny nods and disappears up the aisle, returning five minutes later with their two soda bottles.
“So do you want to change your tune - no pun intended - about where Ari places?” Sonny asks as he settles back into his seat.
“Top three,” Will says immediately.
“Looks like that ice cream is going to be celebratory now.”
Will nods in agreement as the lights dim again and the emcee reappears on the stage, all fifteen of the children trotting out behind him single file.
Will is the one to grab Sonny’s hand this time, linking their fingers together and squeezing.
As expected, Ari makes it through the first round of eliminations with flying colors. Round two is the same, as is round three.
“Top three! You were right!” Sonny whispers to him as they stand up in excitement to hear the winner announced.
“And the winner of this year’s talent show is...Arianna Grace Horton!”
Will and Sonny scream into each other faces. Sonny pulls Will into a tight embrace by their linked fingers and they’re both so excited that they automatically press their lips together in a soft kiss, as they used to when they were still together.
Sonny pulls away quickly, blinking at Will, the smile gone from his face.
Will blinks back, mouth parted slightly, unsure what to say, his heart pounding in his chest.
“Daddies, I won!” Ari shouts, running up to them, sparing them anymore awkwardness, at least momentarily.
“Yes, you did Sweet Pea!” Sonny says, swooping her up into a big hug.
“We’re so proud of you!” Will says, taking her trophy, which is surprisingly heavy.
“What do you say to some celebratory ice cream?” Sonny asks.
“Yeah!”
Will grins and decides that he’ll worry about what that kiss meant later. Right now, his only thought is of celebrating his daughter’s accomplishment.

Can- can I just talk about the Victuuri relationship? Pretty please?
I just…. I’ve never seen a healthy relationship that starts from idolization and a need to get out that has ended in a satisfying way.
Let me elaborate:
We all know that Yuri idolized Victor. It’s why he was so nervous in the beginning and why it took time for them to build on their relationship, he saw Victor as a god.
Victor? He was depressed. He loved the ice so much but he longer found excitement in competitions. He didn’t have any worthy opponents that had a chance of beating him (sorry Chris).
I believe Victor “fell in love” at the banquet. He was attracted to Yuri but, even though he lost, he also saw potential in him. That night was probably the most exciting night for him in a long time. I think he felt genuine affection for Yuri but also saw a way to get out of his predicament.
Then, of course, Yuri didn’t show up the following season (a year had passed before the present timeline). He was most likely annoyed that someone who had gave him excitement didn’t show up. Did he think Yuri had a chance of beating him at first? Probably not. Did he see potential or at least someone he could have fun with during the season? Hell yes!
And then when he saw the video of Yuri skating Stay Close To Me, something that awarded him a gold medal. That’s all he needed. He saw how Yuri not only skated it perfectly but I bet he thought Yuri skated it better. Let’s not forget that emotion is a huge part of skating. If you don’t skate with the passion your supposed to hold for whatever theme you have, your performance can almost seem futile. Victor obviously won because he perfected it but if it was based on how he presented it alone, he would’ve lost. He saw someone worthy of skating an gold medal piece while also having the heart to do it. That’s talent.
Anyways, because of this, their relationship doesn’t hold well in the beginning. He’s passive aggressive towards Yuri because he doesn’t see his own talent and Yuri is just going along for the ride because holy shit it’s Victor fucking Nikiforov.
As they get to know each other and Yuri opens up more (plus Victor getting info on Yuri from the others) Victor starts to see Yuri as an actual person and not someone he can use to project himself onto and then later skate against. And Yuri starts to see him as an actual person too.
I saw on another post talking about how we didn’t see them during the summer and how the end credits of every episode suggest they got to know each other better as both in the credits and in the show they (Yuri) are able to touch each other more. I 100% believe this.
I also believe they might’ve had an argument or two on this topic. It’s not easy to switch from inadvertently seeing someone as anything but a person to an actual person with emotions and feelings. I believe Victor would’ve tried to back away from this subject but Yuri wouldn’t let him. It wasn’t big arguments like in episode 7. It was probably little quarrels that annoyed them both but after having a long conversation they finally started to become more comfortable with each other.
Yuri started letting go of the notion that Victor was a god like creature and Victor saw him as something other than a pawn. Yuri stopped getting as embarrassed with Victor touching him and Victor stopped trying to seduce him as much just so he could see the man from the banquet.
This most definitely leads the way towards a healthier relationship but episode 7 was inevitable. Yuri’s anxiety was at an all time high when he comes out on top. The fact that he needs to stay on top and not mess up is getting to him. As a person with anxiety, it’s pure hell. The thoughts of failing won’t get out of his head and even as he turns off all the monitors he can still hear everything.
Victor takes him away from prying eyes and has no idea what to do. Despite an obvious change that would’ve had to include some emotions from both occurring over the summer, he still has no idea how to help someone in distress.
Then he makes his first mistake. Yuri is visibly shaken by someone’s scores (can’t remember who) and Victor, who is at his wits end, yells at him to stop listening and puts his hands over Yuri’s ears. This tells Yuri how nervous Victor is too and despite knowing that Victor wouldn’t leave him now it shows to him that Victor doesn’t have faith in him (even if he does).
Victor tried to shatter Yuri’s heart. He must’ve expected Yuri to maybe sign heavily but tell him that he’ll do everything in his power to win (probably something that’s happened with him and Yakov). Instead he see’s the consequences of his carelessness. Yuri rightfully lashes out at him and even through all that Victor stills says “should I kiss you?”. Idk what Yuri was thinking but if I were him I would be extremely offended that Victor would try and use me like some doll he can play with and can assume that physical affection and love can fix everything, which was probably what Yuri was thinking.
There’s something off about Yuri and Victor when they emerge but Yuri is surprisingly better now. Cathartic crying can do wonders, kids. There’s also my favorite part of the entire show (couldn’t find a gif):
*head jab* “Hey, fuck you.”
*more head jabs* “Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you. I know you don’t like this you unempathetic dicknip.”
*head pat* “You’re forgiven.”
We all know what happens next: Yuri ends his love story with Victor’s signature move and Victor kisses him out of joy and the need to one up him (with love, of course).
I’m gonna get a little sloppy here with the timeline because I have the memory of a female protagonist that needs to go back to work to get something only to accidentally bump into the jerk CEO of which she will develop a toxic relationship for fan service, so forgive me.
Gonna skip ahead to the scene where Yuri tells Victor that he’s leaving skating, and basically Victor too. (At this moment I realized I’ve been spelling Viktor with a c and not a k which is really fucking with my brain but it’s too late to go back). Victor starts crying and realizes just how Yuri felt when he was rejecting him.
I believe Yuri found some light in the situation because of that fact, which Victor was not having. They’ve been closer than ever now. They’ve kissed, they’ve also announced they they’re getting married, so what the hell?!
Yuri, as we know, feels he’s keeping Victor from the ice. Victor, while he misses the ice and wouldn’t mind being competitive again, has found meaning and if he’s going to be Yuri’s coach to stay where he is than so be it.
He wanted to coach Yuri because he wanted a worthy competitor and while he still wants that, what matters most now is his relationship with Yuri. If he stops being Yuri’s coach and Yuri goes off the ice he knows it will be the end. Yuri loves the ice too and I’d bet he’d try to distance himself from Victor as to not feel regret from leaving without actually knowing that he’s doing it.
They’ve grown so much at this point. But that doesn’t mean it’s over. After all they’ve been through Yuri doesn’t realize that consequences of parting from one another. While being too dependent on your spouse isn’t good, it’s what they both need right now. They are what caused the other person to be happy again and while I hate those types of storylines this one executed it perfectly.
I find Victor’s silent plea to Yurio absolutely heartbreaking. He knows it’s bad to put pressure on people but now he’s doing that to a 15 year old boy. He’s putting his relationship and his life into this child’s hands because he knows there’s nothing else he can do.
I do think Yurio had a crush on Yuri but even if he didn’t: Yuri has taught him so much. He, although being an ass most of the time, has really come to love Yuri as family. It’s clear that Yurio was always lonely (Otabek being his first friend and all) but once he came to Japan and lived, truly lived there, he wasn’t lonely anymore.
Yurio wins, Yuri gets silver and all’s well that ends well.
I guess my point of this was to show how well the relationship in YOI was. I could’ve included some more detail on some points but I usually write stuff in one take (it’s very hard to revise without my mind shutting on itself).
I just love how an implicitly toxic relationship can come out so healthy. They don’t do any of that miscommunication bullshit and when they do it’s because the characters don’t know what to do or how to handle something. Like humans do!
They could’ve easily made this the hot famous guy thinks the kawai girl boy is just so adorable and the kawai girl boy is absolutely infatuated with the hot guy. Hijinks ensue which includes the kawai girl boy thinking the hot guy is in love with someone else. She He gets pushed into thinking that she’s he’s more independent in the end and happily ever after for the couple that will divorce in less than five years! Yay!
Seriously, I thought that was what was going to happen but YOI subverted my expectations so much. They are people that grew from their bad mindsets. And you know what? Yuri still has anxiety! Victor is still bad with handling emotions! And that’s ok! We don’t change that quickly. It takes time and hopefully another season.
I’m definitely using this show as a template for healthy relationships. It’s so hard for me to properly write them when I’ve never been in one and I’m not given the chance to see it happen in different environments (when searching it up all I get is “they trust each other. They blame each other. They’re compassionate.” Like ok but can you show me how?)
Yuri!!! On ice…. I love you so much. You have done so much for my mental health and my writing. Thank you.

Hey lovely, I hope you’re doing well! If you’re taking requests at the moment would you be able to do talker and loops friendship like then just hanging out or making tik toks together or joking around to make cap jealous? I’m not sure if you’ve done any specific talker and loops friendships but I like to think they’re on James and Sirius level of friendship
It's been a while since we did a headcanon list, but I had too many ideas! SW credit goes to @lumosinlove, as always
- Tuesday night is movie night (+ sleepover) because they always have scrimmages and whoever's team loses has to host. Sirius dreads when Talker loses because Remus takes all the good snacks with him.
- They have an older sibling/ middle sibling dynamic (with Finn as the youngest) that is almost identical to Sirius and James--the big difference is that they are much, much quieter about their nefarious plans
- Both are wildly protective of the Cubs
- Both love sci-fi books
- Sirius doesn't get jealous of their friendship bc he's practically married to James, but he and Noelle do have conversations that boil down to "yes our boyfriends turn into five year olds around each other and no we're not going to stop them"
- Talker knows about three French words, so Remus will translate when he doesn't know what Noelle is saying and absolutely fucks with him. The beautiful moment of utter confusion is worth the noogie from Noelle ("...what does that mean?" "She says you're a little bitch" "I said he's my sunshine, you cretin, now get over here")
- Based on the SW timeline, there are only 2.5 to 3 years' age difference between them. Therefore, Remus thinks of Talker as basically his own age and Talker sees Remus as a gangly teenager at best
- They're both pretty chatty (hello Midwestern politeness) and Noelle and Sirius just die every time they do a Wisconsin goodbye. It takes 20 minutes for them to get their coats on. The significant others have fallen asleep waiting in the car on multiple occasions.
- Sitting next to each other in the locker room = throwing things at each other 24/ 7 and then immediately denying it
- The definition of 'ride or die'
- Other teams figure out damn quick that you don't mess with one when the other is in range. One wrong hit to the tough enforcer means someone will be dragging Lupin off you. Target the right wing and a check from a solid wall of muscle is guaranteed to ring your bell
- Talker has a spare key to Coops' house and Remus has a key to his apartment. Neither Sirius nor Noelle know when this happened, but it did, and it's pretty cute to see them bundled in pillow forts as Talker kicks Remus' ass in Mario Kart
- They formed a book club with Finn that disbanded within two weeks because the three of them got too heated and slugged it out over symbolism in a scrimmage
- They commiserate over their significant others having hot accents and hotter muscles ("Loops, have you seen her thighs lately??? They're gonna kill me" "Ugh, tell me about it. Have I mentioned his back muscles yet? Because that's just unfair")
- On their own, they're some of the most genuinely kind and caring people you will ever meet. Together, the crazy runs wide and runs deep
- They both get sleepy in the sun and it's not rare to find them napping in the middle of the afternoon
- Both will pet any dog they see, even if they've already met twelve in the past twenty minutes. All dogs are good dogs and deserve pats.
- When Remus was a PT, Talker would invite him to every single team dinner and event, then claim the seat next to him asap. It took Remus a while to realize that he did it just because he wanted to, and because he honestly liked talking with Remus. For someone with a quality time love language, that was a huge step for him
- If one of them is having a rough week or a hard time at practice, they'll go to the pond and feed the ducks. Remus, of course, does massive amounts of research to make sure they're feeding them right. Talker names every duckling and memorizes what they look like
- Being on opposite lines means they never have tension or jealousy about their performance, because there's nothing to compare
- Remus thought about coming out to Talker a lot, but the situation never came up. After the airport, he was more afraid to face Talker than anyone else bc he didn't want him to think he had been lying the whole time.
- So many platonic 'love you's and fake flirting
- They share cheese curds whenever they go on roadies. It's tradition and Sirius thinks it's the grossest thing ever
- Their tiktoks are the most chaotic things ever. it's a mix of weird science experiments, literature discussions where they can only speak through megaphones, and Talker roasting the hell out of Remus for not being able to do any of the dances. Marlene limits them to one every month on the official page but she can't stop Talker's personal account
- Jules thinks Talker is the best and always takes his side against Remus
They're just the ultimate Bros, and their friendship takes up so much space in my head

Trost University was home to many brilliant minds. It was a prestigious school with an acceptance rate of 600 out of 4000 yearly applicants, and producing the finest students; those of which would almost always graduate with high honors before starting a successful career of their choosing.
Its professors, undoubtedly, were of the finest quality as well. They were professional, extremely skilled, and highly trained. It was a workforce full of almost over qualified educators excelling in their respective fields, with master and PhD certificates framed on cubicle walls being the norm in the faculty room.
Erwin himself was proud to be a professor here. He started working as a high school teacher when he was still studying for his master’s degree, shifting from high school teachings to college teachings as years passed by, before eventually getting recognized and offered a job seven years ago by the prestigious school.
His friends— a loving and longterm couple who, as far as he knew, were high school sweethearts and still going strong today— had joined him on this journey as well. He’d known them since they were in college, all studying different fields but aiming for the same career of teaching.
The three of them shared a strong bond; a bond built on study groups, mutual dislike for crappy teachers, and a certain love for education. They were there for him, and he was there for them. He especially disliked it, however, when their relationship went through rough patches. He didn’t like picking sides, and listening to the same story being told from two different perspectives almost always made him want to grab Y/N and Levi’s heads and bash them together for how dumb they were acting.
But despite the differences and occasional fights, he wouldn’t hesitate to say that he trusted them with his life.
So Erwin, for the life of him, couldn’t figure out why he was just now finding out that the power couple he knew and loved wasn’t even a couple at all.
“So, wait.” He speaks, trying to be heard over the crowded cafeteria chatter. “You’re telling me... they’re not a longterm couple?”
“They’re not.” Moblit confirms easily. “Apparently, they’re not even dating.”
“Or so they claim.” Hange interjects. “Y/N and Levi have actual matching rings. Literally— I asked Levi about it once and he said Y/N was his fiancé.”
“But not romantically.” Moblit quickly adds on. “I was there too, he said not romantically.”
“Why would Levi propose to someone he’s not romantically interested in, huh?!” She counters back, a little louder than the brown haired man’s volume.
“I don’t know! Citizenship? Money? Sex—“
“They’re in love! You know they’re in love, you’re just denying it because you want to get in Y/N’s pants.” She huffs. “And because you’re about to lose the bet.”
Erwin’s eyebrows scrunch in confusion. “Bet? What bet?”
“Oh, you don’t know about the bet?” Hange asks. “It’s been going on for, like, five years now. The entire faculty’s in on it.” She begins to chow down on her soup, not offering more of an explanation. Moblit takes this as his cue to expand when he notices Erwin’s blank stare.
“Since you guys joined maybe... seven or so years ago? Everyone just assumed Y/N and Levi were a thing. Because of, y’know, the way they interact with each other. But then five years ago Hange and I asked them when their anniversary was so we could get them some wine, and both of them full on denied even being in a relationship.”
Hange nods, more than a spoonful of soup and a more than generous bite of bread in her mouth. “Yeah, but then I peaked at their faculty files—“
“Peaked at their faculty files?” Erwin murmurs, but he’s ignored.
“—and they have the same home address. They live together!”
“I can confirm that much, at least.” The blonde man answers thoughtfully. “They’ve been sharing a dorm since college but Y/N moved out at some point. They live together in Levi’s apartment now, though.”
“That doesn’t prove anything.” Says Moblit. “They could just be roommates and really good friends.”
“Well I’ll say!” Hange throws her hands in the air. “I caught Y/N sucking Levi’s dick at a party once. Must be one hell of a friendship they have, aye Moblit?”
Her elbow begins nudging the brunette beside her, and Erwin stares with amusement when Moblit starts getting irritated from the eccentric woman’s teasing.
“So what’s the wager?” Erwin asks.
The two professors stop their bickering and share an evil smile. Hange gestures for Erwin to come closer, as if she were about to tell him a secret, and he does just that.
“Whoever wins the bet gets a free meal from Shaw’s Bistro.”
Erwin’s eyes widen. Shaw’s Bistro; the classy high end restaurant with the fancy wine, fancier atmosphere, and the best Japanese Salted Salmon he’s ever had.
It was an expensive restaurant— even for someone with his salary. Erwin knew he could rarely ever eat there unless he wanted to run his bank account dry. And he concludes that this petty bet must be a Pretty Big Fucking Deal.
He squints his eyes. “I’m listening.”
Hange giggles as she continues. “Basically, you have to guess how long it’ll take for Y/N and Levi to finally admit they’re couple. But you can’t choose the same answer as other people in the bet, we can’t afford two winners. Literally.” She gestures to Moblit. “Unless you’re like dumb dumb over there who wagered they’ll never admit it because they’re not a couple—“
“They’re not!”
“—I’m sure you’ll do fine.”
Erwin nods his head, one hand on his chin in thought. He never did explicitly ask whether they were dating or not, he just assumed they were.
He carefully considers his options; be a snoop to his longterm friends and possibly break their trust for joining a foolish bet? Or Japanese Salted Salmon from Shaw’s Bistro?
Hange and Moblit look at him expectantly, smiling when he nods.
“Deal me in.”
Tumblr media
The cafeteria was noisy when you walked in.
Students mingled amongst themselves, chatting idly about academics and gossip. Cutlery scraped against each other as people took bites of their meals. Your eyes scanned the crowd, spotting your friends sitting around their usual table and having what seemed to be a heated discussion.
You turned to look at the man beside you. “Did you bring your own lunch today?”
Levi nods as he lifts up a small black bag. “Always do. But I’ll stand next to you in the lunch line so you don’t look like a loner.”
That was Levi Speak for I’ll wait for you.
You smile. “Thanks.”
The brief silence between you is broken when you start talking about your students— how proud you were that Armin was tutoring some of the struggling students in his free time, how terrible Jean was at hiding his crush on Mikasa, how terrible Mikasa was at hiding her crush on Eren (“I don’t even think she’s trying to hide it. At this point, I’m convinced that Eren is either dumb or dense.”)
Levi nods along to your tales, seemingly uninterested and bored. But anyone who knew him well would know he was listening intently as you spoke, every word heard loud and clear and processing in his mind as soon as they left your lips. Occasionally, he would pipe in with his own comments (“Eren’s just dumb.”) but he didn’t engage too much, opting to let you speak and rant on.
Your talkativeness never got on his nerves, contrary to popular belief. He liked listening to your stories, listening to your voice, and seeing the little glint in your eyes when you start talking passionately about your students. He overall just liked being around you. You were cleaner than most people he knew. You were tolerable. Sometimes a pain in the ass, but still tolerable.
But what does get on his nerves, however, is being ‘secretly’ watched by his friends.
Once he’s sure you’re not looking, he turns his head in the direction of their table, murderous glare prominent on his face. Hange, Moblit, and Erwin quickly snap their heads down and pretend to eat, but Levi knew they were definitely staring.
“Oh crap, I forgot my free meal card.” He hears you mumble beside him. He hadn’t even realized you were already standing in front of the counter.
“Figures. You have the memory of a gold fish.” Levi comments off-handedly.
He hands the cashier his free meal card and grabs your tray for you, and you silently took the coat that Levi had swung over his arm to carry with you instead. You knew he’d hate for it to get dirtied by any accidental soup splashing.
“So, what’s happening on your end of the gossip?” You ask, both making your way to your usual table with friends.
Levi shrugs. “The brats are doing well on their thesis. Their grammar is shit though; makes you wonder how they graduated high school.”
You snicker. “You say that now but tomorrow pull an all-nighter to help them study and revise.”
“You’re not one talk. You scheduled two different consultations between classes and three more after your shift.”
“I can’t help it, okay?! You know I have a soft spot for the kids from the 104th.”
Of course he did. He knew of your affection for that specific group of students— admittedly, he held a twinge of affection for them too.
They were part of the first class you ever taught in your entire teaching career. At the time, you both worked at some crappy school in the 104th district. And to see the kids now, all grown up and studying at a prestigious college, it made your heart swell. And Levi’s heart... well, suffice to say it cracked some of the ice around it.
“That soft spot of yours is making you lose sleep.” He scolds. “I’ll take some of the consultations off your hands. The lil shits deserve a teacher who isn’t half asleep.”
Again, that was Levi Speak for Don’t overwork yourself, let me help.
You jokingly slap his arm. “That’s rude!”
“I know.”
Your conversation is interrupted when you finally arrived at the table, Levi setting down your tray in front of you and you handing him back his coat as you sat down next to each other.
“Hey.” You greet your friends, and Levi silently unpacks his lunch. “What were you guys talking about? It looked pretty intense.”
“Oh, nothing, nothing.” Hange waved off. “Just the usual. Grading papers, grading lab experiments, grading essays. The usual.”
You nod, unconvinced but letting it slide. “I see.”
The table is once again filled with laughter and conversations. Banter was thrown around here and there, mostly between you, Hange, and Moblit as you debated about films and TV shows. Levi and Erwin stuck to light chatter, but it didn’t go unnoticed to the shorter man when Erwin’s eyes squinted as Levi placed his arm around the back of your chair like he always did, or when Hange tried to hide her squeal when he wiped some excess soup from the corner of your lips.
Something was up.
It was about ten minutes into lunch when your phone began to ring, a notification from a reminder app you downloaded. You picked up your phone and sighed as you read your schedule.
“Gotta go. I have a meeting in a few.” You mutter, beginning to clean up your tray and utensils; you were a little disappointed. You didn’t even get to finish your soup.
Levi eyes you and the way you kept glancing back and forth between your soup and the clock. He sighs before he speaks, “I’ll take care of your dishes and buy you lunch later. Just go.”
“No, no, I can— fuck!” You yell when the bowl of soup is accidentally knocked over, spilling over your jacket.
Levi silently offers you his handkerchief to clean yourself up. He starts using napkins to clean the table as well, before taking the coat he brought and giving it to you.
“Use this for now.”
You smile at him once again, taking your coat off and slipping on his as you stood up. “Thanks.”
He doesn’t flinch (or react for that matter) when you kiss his cheek before you left, only letting out a small hum of acknowledgement as you waved goodbye to your friends and made your way to the meeting.
Once you were out of view, Hange’s smile immediately drops in favor of too serious eyes as she starts interrogating Levi.
“Okay, cut the crap, Ackerman. How long have you—“
“Hange, no, we’ve talked about this.” Erwin tries to reason but his pleas fall on deaf ears as she continues.
“How long have you and Y/N been dating?”
Ah. So that’s what it was about.
Levi sighs and continues to chew on his bread. He unenthusiastically stares at the woman yelling at him, swallowing his meal before speaking, “I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again: we’re not.”
“Bullshit!” She yells. “You guys are a disgusting old married couple who have two adopted children—“
“Dogs.” Levi corrects boredly, but just like everyone else at the table, he’s ignored as Hange continues her tirade.
“—have matching sweaters, do small bullshit for each other like paying for meals and lending your coats. And for god’s sake, they literally just kissed your cheek even though you hate human contact.”
She finishes her rant but Levi looks unphased. God, she wanted to punch his dumb and oblivious face so bad.
“Those are normal things normal friends do. I’m not surprised you wouldn’t know, four-eyes.” Says Levi, but Hange is unaffected and already used to his abrasive words.
Levi continues. “We don’t do anything beyond what’s considered friendship.”
Hange squints her eyes in suspicion. “Didn’t Y/N move into your apartment?”
“Yeah. Their landlord was shit.”
“Where I caught you having sex?”
“We’re fuck buddies and you don’t know how to knock.”
“But you introduced them to your mom as your fiancé?”
“I lied so she would stop bugging me about getting married.”
“You literally have a shared bank account and a shared retirement fund!”
“It’s easier to keep track of.”
“Damn it, Levi!”
Tumblr media
Armin stares at the study guide in front of him, mind half processing the words and half... not. Quite frankly, he starts to wonder if the papers you’d given him were written in gibberish or some dead language no one spoke anymore.
You see him struggle to understand the sheet of paper in front of him, and sigh.
“Need a little help there, Armin?” You offer but he shakes his head. “I’m okay. I think I can understand this if I read through it more, it’s my friends I’m worried about.”
He glances beside him where the rest of his study group also stared the papers, each face painted with a unique mixture of confusion and dread.
You weren’t surprised, however. The readings for this module were quite complex, and the fact that your brightest students— Armin and Mikasa— were struggling with it made you feel a little bit hopeless for the rest of your class. Truth be told, even though you taught this topic countless of times, you weren’t entirely sure how to simplify it without leaving out too much information.
“Okay, how about this, we could—“ A soft knock interrupts your sentence, and you stare at the students in front of you to remember if you were expecting any more. It seemed like everyone was here, however, so you weren’t sure who was at the door.
“It’s me.” Came Levi’s voice, almost like he heard your inner monolgue.
“Come in!” You called out, focus shifting back to the paper in front of you as you heard the door open and close.
Okay, so I guess I could take this part and summarize it for them? Or would that still be too complicated? No, maybe I can—
“Ah, it’s that topic.” Levi mumurs, snapping you out of your thoughts. His face was directly next to yours as he stared intently at the papers you held. “No wonder you all look like you’re about to crap your pants.”
“Language, Levi. Not in front of the students.” You scold.
“They curse more than I do.”
“Still.”
He ignores your comment as he hands you a brown paper bag, pulling a chair out to sit next to you. He grabs the paper from your hands to look over the study guide you prepared, undoubtedly trying to figure out a way to simplify it as well.
“What’s this?” You ask, opening the paper bag.
“Bought you dinner.” He replies, eyes not leaving the paper in front of him. “I figured you’d forget again.”
As if on cue, your stomach suddenly starts feeling empty. It was impossible that you were hungry, though. You just had lunch. And after lunch you had some meetings to attend to, a couple classes, some last minute consultations, and— okay. Maybe it’d been a couple hours since lunch, but it couldn’t be that bad. A brief glance at the clock confirms that—
“Holy shit, it’s almost 8pm.”
“Language, Y/N. Not in front of the students.”
“Kiss my ass.”
“Gladly.”
The students in front of you let out a loud groan, faces over exaggeratedly contorted in disgust at your and Levi’s conversation.
Levi glimpses up at them and raises his eyebrow in question, while you jokingly roll your eyes.
“Alright, I think we should continue our consultation another time.” You said, beginning to pack up your teaching materials as the students did the same. “It’s getting late and curfew’s at 8pm. I’d better not see any of you outside the dorms.”
You knew you would though. It’s Friday night, there’s a bar across the street, and they’re teenagers. What could possibly go wrong?
You turn to Levi and hand him the keys. “You go ahead to the car, I’ll finish packing up.”
“It’s alright, I’ll wait for you in the hallway.” Levi takes the car keys as he stands up, walking out the door once again and leaving you alone with your students.
As you began to arrange your papers and clear the table, you start to remind them, “Okay, so we can discuss chapters—“
“Are you and Professor Ackerman dating?” Eren asks curiously, earning a shove from Jean and a silent threat to shut up, dumbass.
You chuckle. “No, Eren. We’re not.”
He gives you a doubtful look, one which you only return with a curious face.
“What’s with that look?” You ask, and he shrugs.
“You should date him— ow, what?!” He speaks, getting shoved by both Reiner and Jean this time before Mikasa pulls them off of him. You pause from your task.
“Okay, I’ll humor you. Why should I date him?”
The students share a look, daring each other to respond to your bold question. A few tense moments pass by and you smugly continue packing your papers. Yeah, you figured no one would—
“He’s nicer when he’s with you.” To your surprise, it was Mikasa who answers.
Unsure how to answer but still wanting to remain professional, you nod your head without looking up from your task. “Duly noted. Now go on, I know you have parties to attend to. I won’t hold you here much longer.”
The students laughed as they said their goodbyes; you held the door open for them until everyone was out before you left as well, shutting down the lights and locking the room once more.
A warm hand makes its way to the small of your back, and you smile.
“Hey.” Levi greets.
“Hey.” You repeat. “You read to go?”
“Yeah.”
“Wanna share my dinner when we get back home?”
“...yeah.”
He takes the stack of paper from your arms, his free hand reaching out for your own. You walked down the hallway in relative silence, interlocked hands swinging slightly from every step.
From the opposite corner of the hallway, the students’ prying eyes observe the small interaction; the two professors remained completely unaware that they were being watched.
“Told you they were a thing.” Ymir gloats, and the group snickers as Reiner irritatedly hands her some money.
Tumblr media
Something was wrong.
If there was one thing Erwin knew from the nearly two decade long friendship he shared with you and Levi, it was when something was wrong.
It didn’t go unnoticed to him when Levi didn’t open your side of the car door as he usually would when you arrived at the parking lot; when he made a beeline for his cubicle in the faculty instead of helping you get settled first; when you didn’t make a fresh pot of tea for him before classes started; when your small sweet gestures throughout the day were kept to a minimal; and most importantly, when neither you nor Levi wore your matching gold rings.
The faculty was nearly empty, save for himself, Hange, Moblit, and the two people who were having a lover’s quarrel. The entire day went by without seeing you two walk side by side like you usually would, and Erwin was pretty sure Levi’s permanent frown somehow got deeper.
Yeah. Something was horribly wrong.
“Pssst.” Erwin hears from the desk next to his. He turns around and is met with Hange and Moblit’s curious gazes.
“The hell happened to those two? Trouble in paradise?” Hange asks, eyeing Y/N and Levi’s grouchy faces and refusal to acknowledge each others’ existence as they each packed their things. She adds on, “Are they getting divorced?” Only to be reminded by Moblit that “They’re not dating.”
Erwin shrugs, answering Hange’s question. “No idea.”
Moblit chimes in, “I heard Petra tried asking Levi out yesterday and now Y/N is jealous.”
She scoffs. “Y/N isn’t the jealous type. Besides, Petra’s part of the bet so that means she thinks they’re going to get together.”
“I’m part of the bet and I don’t think they’re going to get together.” Moblit points out. “And Petra stares at Levi the way Levi stares at Y/N.”
“Full of disdain and irritation?” Hange asks.
“No,” Erwin finally interjects. “Full of love and admiration.”
“Can the three of you creeps keep your mouths shut?” Hange, Erwin, and Moblit’s heads snapped to the direction of the voice, eyes meeting a pissed off Levi with a pissed off Y/N beside him. It seems like their hushed whispering wasn’t so hushed at all.
“When you gossip about our private life the least you could do is wait until we’ve left the room.” You gritted.
“No, it wasn’t-” Hange tries to defend herself but is cut off by Levi, “We already heard you talking. Now out with it before I change my mind about letting this slide.”
The three guilty professors sigh, sharing a look before Erwin decides to come clean. “We’re concerned for you.” He starts. “You’ve been ignoring each other the entire day and whatever this fight is, it’s the worst one I’ve seen you have.”
You sigh. “Listen, it’s not that we don’t appreciate your concern, it’s just that-”
“-it’s just that it’s none of your goddamn business.” Levi interjects and you immediately glare at his rudeness.
“Shut it, Levi. I don’t have time for your bull.”
“And I don’t have time for your petty lies.”
The three watched as you and Levi begin to quarrel, sharp words and irritated glares thrown around with each passing second. Your voices overlapped with each other as Erwin tried to make sense of what it was you were even fighting about, some words about betrayal in the highest degree and ruining a good thing and a relationship built on lies being the few words he understands.
Finally, he has enough.
“Stop.” Erwin says loudly but firmly. The two of you pause from your bickering him and stare at him incredulously; he continues to speak, “We’re not teenagers anymore, we’re grown adults. I’m getting tired of playing mediator whenever you fight but if I have to do it again so you stop yelling, then I will.”
He sighs. “Now what the hell are you two fighting about?”
“Y/N started it.” “Levi started it.” You say at the same time, and Erwin feels a headache coming but decides to ignore it.
“You didn’t answer my question.”
The two of you stare at each other angrily, almost daring the other to back down. This goes on for a few seconds before Levi finally sighs and speaks.
“Y/N thinks lemon scented detergent is better than lavender scented detergent.”
Hange and Moblit snicker but quickly shut up when Erwin gives them a look. He wasn’t even surprised that a fight as small and menial as this would be the fight that tears his favorite power couple apart.
“It is and you know it.” You reply defiantly and Levi groans in frustration, hand holding his head in disbelief as he quietly mutters, “I can’t believe I’m marrying someone who thinks lemon is better than lavender.”
At that, Hange’s ears perk up. “You’re getting married?!” She screams, and the two of you look at her in confusion, fight suddenly forgotten.
“Yeah, next week.” You reply wearily. “We emailed you the invites.”
If Erwin thought your bickering was loud, then the squeal that Hange let out was nothing short of deafening as she suddenly lunges at the couple, forcing them into a group hug as she cheers, “I knew it! I fucking knew it! You are together.”
Levi scoffs. “Don’t be silly, it’s for tax purposes. Apparently the bank won’t approve the loan for our new house unless we’re legally wed; something about tax fraud.”
“House?” Moblit echoes. “Don’t you already live together?”
You nod. “Yeah, but we figured the kids-”
“Dogs.” Levi corrects.
“-deserve a yard to run around in. Our apartment’s getting too cramped for the four of us.”
“Don’t ruin this for me!” Hange yells. “I have a wedding to plan.”
Levi sighs. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, four-eyes. There isn’t going to be a ceremony. We’re going to a court house to get our marriage license approved. That’s it.”
“And we invited you and Erwin to be our witnesses.” You explained. “There isn’t going to be a celebration but we’re going to host a small dinner party for close friends and family.We’d greatly appreciate it if you can RSVP to the emails within the week so we know how much food to prepare.”
The three professors nod, each exchanging pleasant smiles. It wasn’t the wedding invite they were hoping to receive but it was still a wedding invite nonetheless, and they weren’t about to burst your bubble.
“Hold on a second,” Erwin mutters, suddenly remembering one detail. “Where are your rings?” He gestures to your ringless hands.
“We had them engraved with our initials. Makes things more believable.” Levi answers. “If you’re done with the dumb questions, we’ll go ahead now.”
He doesn’t wait for them to answer as he holds your hand in his, walking you out of the faculty room and into the hallway as he pretends not to notice his friends giggling like teenagers at the information you just shared.
“So...” You start, giving him a warm smile as you squeezed his hand. “Do you think they’re catching on?”
Levi lets out a rare smile, eyes softening as he looks at you. “No. They’re too dumb to know we’re actually together. They’ll eat up whatever bullshit explanation we come up with.”
“Okay, but remind me again why we have to keep pretending like we’re not actually together and not actually getting married next week?”
He brings your hand up to his lips, kissing your knuckles affectionately before placing his hand on the small of your back.
“Does it bother you that they don’t know?” He asks, and you hum as you think it through. “No. It’s actually really entertaining.” You laugh. “But why don’t you want them to know?”
He shrugs, pulling you closer to him. “That’s what they get for placing stupid bets.”

As Long As I’m With You: Agnes/Agatha Harkness x Reader
Tumblr media
Request: Hi, can you please do where Agnes (a villain) saves fem reader's life because she has feelings for her? In the end they end up together // also took some ideas from this request
Summary: You’re accused of witchcraft in your village, and a mysterious beautiful witch comes to your aid.
Words: 2200+
Warnings: fem reader, Agatha is low key evil so she hurts some people, a swear word, reader has an angsty past
Author’s Notes: This can be read as either a standalone fic or as a prequel to my other fic “Spell Practice.” I took quite a lot of creative liberty with this, hopefully that’s alright. Also disclaimer I am in no way a history expert so even though this is set in like the 1500s-1600s it’s probably very inaccurate, but it’s fanfic so anything goes right?
Taglist: @nyx-aira @midnight-lestrange @thestrangeundoing @thegayances @sleep-deprived-athlete @dr-robotnik-said-hella @fallingfor-fics @p-nymph @thelanawinterrs @sunproud (if your tag didn’t work it might be bc your blog isn’t searchable so make sure that’s on so you’re notified of future fics!)

You had no idea how much your life would change when you left your house that day.
It started out with a simple run to the market and the garden to get what you needed for supper that night, a job that almost always falls to you. You don’t necessarily mind getting away from your family and talking to some people in town, but it’s clear that your family doesn’t want you in the house as much as possible either.
It’s gotten to the point where they’re just looking for a reason to get rid of you. You’re a disappointment, after all. You refuse to marry in order to help your family’s status, even though you’ve gotten a couple offers. You counter your parent’s rules and ideas every chance you get, no matter how much they tell you you’re crazy. They belittle you constantly, saying your dreams are worth nothing and you’ll have to be dependent on them forever if you never submit to the role in society you’re supposed to.
Obviously bullying you out of their lives wasn’t working, so they’ve moved on to spreading rumors about you and setting you up for crimes. None have worked yet, of course, but every day you fear they’ll get too close.
Until you get burned at the stake, though, they’ve given you basically every responsibility of the house. You do all the shopping, cooking, and farming, as well as taking care of your younger siblings. You wonder what they’d do without you, despite how much they seem to want you gone.
As you’re buying a few crops and eggs from your neighbors, you swear you see something move. You turn around and see a little boy floating in the air, screaming.
You drop everything in your arms and reach up to him, trying to grab him and help him down, but he keeps flailing, and his screams start to feel directed at you.
“Hey! It’s okay! Let me help you!” you hold your hand up, speaking as calmly as you can. “I’m not going to hurt you,”
“WITCH!” a man yells as he sees you. “SHE’S A WITCH!”
Everyone around turns and watches you.
“No! No! I’m not the one doing this! I’m trying to help!”
“Let him down and maybe we’ll wait to kill you til tomorrow!” someone else demands.
A couple people march towards you to grab you, and all you can think to do is start running.
You race out of the center of town into the trees, and about five men chase after you. You keep going until it feels like your legs are going to give out and you can barely breathe, but they keep coming.
“Please! Please stop! It wasn’t me I swear!” you cry. “I don’t know what was happening!”
“Shut up, girl,” one grunts. “Your father always said there was something wrong with you, makes sense that you’re a witch!”
“What’s so wrong about witches?” a female voice calls.
You and the men spin around, trying to figure out where it came from.
Before you can blink there’s purple smoke surrounding you, and the men are thrown against the trees. They’re knocked unconscious instantly, but you remain standing and untouched.
“Who are you?” you ask, your voice quivering.
“Don’t be afraid, my dear,” the smoke starts to fade and you can make out her silhouette, then eventually her face. “I’m here to help you,”
She’s beautiful. You’ve never seen someone that immediately feels so friendly, so different in all the best ways.
“It’s alright to stare, I know I’m quite a sight,” she laughs. “I’m Agatha,”
“I’m Y/N,”
“Ah, yes, I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of you,” she smiles. “Everyone in the village can barely stand you,”
“Thanks…?” you’re not sure how to respond, especially after all that just happened. “Wait, if you live in my village, why have I never seen you? And how come you’ve never gotten caught using magic?”
“Memory spells, of course,” she shrugs. “Now, let’s get you somewhere safe, alright?”
You nod, and she wraps an arm around you. She takes you deep into the forest until you reach a small house, the glimmer of the fire peering through the windows.
You settle down on a chair while she makes some tea and food. She offers you a blanket and hands you the cup and plate, sitting down across from you.
“So how long have you been practicing magic?” she asks.
“Oh…I…well actually I don’t know how to use any magic,”
“Really? Why were the witch hunters after you then?”
“I was set up, I think,” you say. “There was a little boy floating in the air, and since I was near him they thought it was me. But I wasn’t doing anything,”
“Well,” Agatha sips her tea. “Sometimes magic can manifest itself subconsciously. Maybe you were doing it but didn’t realize it. It’s quite common,”
“But…how would I have magical powers? I’ve never learned it from anywhere,”
“Some people are just born with the gift,” she grins.
You exhale, thinking over what she said. Could it be true? You’ve been a witch all your life without even knowing it?
 -
 That night, Agatha conjures another bed for you to sleep in. But even though she made it as comfortable as she possibly could, you can’t get a wink of sleep.
You lift off the blanket and wrap it tightly around you, getting up slowly and quietly. You walk outside and sit against a tree, looking up at the stars.
You’re sure your family has heard the news by now. Their disappointment of a daughter is finally gone, accused of witchcraft. It seems that the foreseeable future will be spent with Agatha, the only safe person you have.
You wonder just how much she already knows about you. She mentioned she’s heard people gossiping about you all the time in town, yet she still saved you after hearing all those negative things.
Why is that?
“Can’t sleep?”
You jump at her voice, and she chuckles a bit at your reaction.
“Sorry,” you sigh. “I just have a lot to think about from today, I guess,”
“No worries,” she sits down beside you. “So do I,”
“Agatha,” you say. “Why did you save me?”
“Us witches have to stick together. I saw you were in trouble, so I saved you,”
“But you knew, didn’t you? You’ve known I was a witch long before this, didn’t you?”
“I had my suspicions,” she agrees. “Whenever I heard people talk about you, I figured you weren’t like everyone else. But I didn’t know for sure until today,”
“I wish you had taken me before,” you huff, a few tears falling down your cheeks. “It’s been so bad, Agatha, feeling worthless just because you’re different, everyone hates you…”
She pulls you into her shoulder, letting you cry into it, “I know, dear, I know,”
 -
 It takes you a while to come to terms with your potential powers, but as soon as you’re ready Agatha begins to teach you how to use them. You spend your days studying her spell books and practicing simple spells, most of which you fail at.
She encourages you as much as possible, explaining to you that magic is not something you can learn overnight, sometimes not even over years. She tells you that she’s actually thousands of years old (a surprise to you due to her stunning looks) and she’s been practicing for much of that time, and there’s still some spells she hasn’t mastered.
Your impatience still gets the better of you most days, though. You can’t imagine waiting several centuries to get something to work, if you get it to work at all.
One day you’re sitting at the table, trying out a simple transfiguration spell. You wave your hand repeatedly at a potato, hoping to turn it into an apple. It doesn’t even wobble, not even a single spark, but you’ve been sitting here for hours and don’t want to give up just yet.
You nearly fall asleep from exhaustion when all of a sudden it happens. It works.
There’s an apple in front of you. Not a potato, an apple.
“Holy shit!” you scream. “Agatha! I did it!”
You run over to her and point at your small accomplishment.
“Look at you go, darling!” she smiles, hugging you. “At this rate you’ll be changing rocks into cats before you’re 200!”
You laugh, “Oh come on, this is literally just one of the beginner spells,”
“So what? That’s where everybody starts,”
You break out in giddy excitement again, jumping up and down a bit and looking back and forth just to make sure your creation is still there.
Without thinking, you kiss Agatha quickly on the lips.
She stares at you, mouth open.
Before you can apologize, she grabs your face and kisses you hard. She’s everything you’d imagined and more, soft and warm but with a spark you can’t ignore.
When you finally break apart, her hands linger, brushing across your features and in your hair, “I’ve been waiting to do that,”
 -
 Things change after that, but in only the best ways.
Agatha isn’t just your mentor anymore, the only friend who came to your aid.
She’s your everything now, a soulmate, your home.
You tell her all about your life, and she tells you all about hers. As she has significantly more stories to tell, you’ll fall asleep many nights to her whispering all the legends she lived through that no one else knows are true.
She makes you laugh every day, and makes sure you always know how much she cares about you. There’s only so much you can do in your hidden home in the woods, but with magic the possibilities are endless and she’s never short of romantic ideas.
Tonight you find yourself lying your head in her lap while she plays with your hair, close to the fire so you can watch the little shows she creates with the flames.
“What about love?” you ask.
“What about it?”
“Out of all the stories you’ve told me, you’ve never mentioned being in love before,”
“Well,” she sighs. “That’s because I haven’t been,”
“Why not?”
“It’s just never appealed to me,” she says. “Until I met you,”
“Oh,” you grin, looking up at her.
She leans down to kiss you, but you’re broken apart by a loud noise outside.
You shoot up, looking at Agatha in pure panic. Your heart races as the noise gets louder and louder, eventually leading to shouting and knocks at the door.
“WE FOUND YOU!” a booming voice yells.
“Aggie?” you whisper. Everything crumbles around you. Your perfect, happy life, now about to be stolen from you. You have no idea how they found you, if you are about to be dead, if you’ll be able to defend yourself at all.
She kisses you and stands up, “Stay here. I’ll take care of it,”
With a fling of her fingers the door flies open, and the torches the townspeople are holding are burnt out. She smirks, purple smoke covering the area as she goes through them one by one, some just throwing to the side and others suffering a painful death.
She turns their own weapons against them, their own people against them, and makes them regret everything they’ve ever done.
When she returns to you, you’re still in so much shock and panic you couldn’t tell exactly what she was doing.
“Did you…kill all of them?”
“They got what they deserved for threatening us,” she says nonchalantly. “But we’re not safe here anymore. It’s time to find somewhere new,”
“Okay,” you nod as she pulls you against her. “As long as I’m with you,”
“I’ll always protect you, even when you learn enough to protect yourself,” she kisses your forehead. “Always and forever,”
 APPROXIMATELY FOUR CENTURIES LATER
 “I’m back, darling!” Agatha calls, shutting the door behind her.
“How’d it go?” you run to her, grabbing her hands.
“Splendid, that poor Wanda already loves her new neighbor!”
“Wow,” you giggle. “You know I must say, this whole living in a sitcom thing isn’t that bad, you look gorgeous in that 50s dress,”
“Oh darling, somehow after all this time you still flatter me,” she pretends to fan herself. “I have to go back over real quick, alright? Gotta give her this spicy magazine,” she holds her hand up in the air and magically forms one in her grasp.
“Ah! Be sure to get some ideas to use on me when you get back,” she laugh.
“Oh I will honey,” she winks, kissing you before going out the door.
You settle on the couch, looking around at your home. Out of all the places you’ve moved to together, this was by far the weirdest. There’s no color, and everyone besides you and Agatha and Wanda are under some kind of mind control.
You never imagined that day all those years ago would bring you here, spending your life with a beautiful witch and being her partner in all things, even sinister ones. But you wouldn’t have it any other way, and you know this strange town will only bring you more opportunities to practice your magic and help Agatha with her plans.

thanks again to @dykerory and @willowcrowned for this genius au. this is an incomplete collection of very specific set of headcanons/daydreams i had about a tangential version of your au that made me emotional in the middle of the woods. whenever you feel the time is right, i’m very eager to hear your og version on the ‘but obi-wan, tho!’, because i admittedly pushed this one’s resolution really far chronologically because i wanted batman to be involved.
continuation from here
note: my understanding of dcu is as sporadically informed as my understanding of the gffa.
newly graduated clark kent gets his first journalism job and starts settling more and more into the superman thing. the rest of the justice league has been around but his entrance onto the scene is the one that really inspires the various heroes to actually start coordinating to deal with the weirdness magnet that is dcu Earth. Clark is in his early 20s. Anakin is in his late 30s.
He’s been living on Earth, without the force, for nearly 2/3rds of his life. He has a close knit circle of friends who were kind to him even when they thought he was just a weird and crazy emo cult victim (the gradual increase of public encounters with aliens and superpowers sparks some awkward apologies, Anakin at 38 just waves his friends off, smiling and changing the subject, neither confirming nor denying his high school ramblings of spaceships and magic. it doesn’t really change anything).
He lives an hour’s drive from smallville, and runs a successful auto shop. people travel from pretty far to check out some of his more wild and specialized motorcycle abominations. makes enough money selling them to rich idiots to fund his free auto-class and auto-repair programs for impoverished communities.
It took a while but he eventually came around to the idea of helping people without physical force (ironically, this is happening around the same time Clark is coming to the realization that he can help people with physical force). Generally respected as a pillar of the community. When people start to realize how profoundly weird he is as a person in a number of inexplicable ways, someone will generally pull them aside and quietly whisper that he was in a cult at a child, no one really knows much about it except that it’s what inspired his anti-modern-slavery work, which is a little telling. Not married. Was in a long-term relationship for like 9 years. It didn’t end well but no-one knows the details.
Has several cats.
He’s- wistful but settled. He’s been through a lot of therapy. He meditates every morning and night, clearing his mind and examining his emotions in the way Obi-Wan taught him. He thinks Obi-Wan would be proud of him. He know his Mom would be.
Once he gets used to the idea, he never really stops loving the concept of learning just because. Duel bachelors degree in in african american history and american literature, masters in engineering, masters in astrophysics a phd in theoretical physics, another phd in medieval folklore. He’s worked a lot of jobs.
He was already pretty well versed in astronavigation back at the temple. Over the course of his time on earth, he gets more educated in earth astronomy and physics. With is increased knowledge, his theory for ‘how did i get here’ shifts from slight hyperdrive miscalculation, to big hyperdrive miscalculation, to some sort of hyperlane incident. he realizes that none of the stars he knows are familiar in any NASA database. He must be beyond wildspace, which helps him let go of the last bit of hurt he felt that Obi-Wan never found him.
Then he really learns physics- and- light doesn’t exactly work like that right? He thought it was just primitive Earth understanding but... he gets a phd more or less accidentally, trying and failing to disprove that the speed of life is constant constant.
Get’s another even more accidentally, explaining how alternate universes might form if we assume slightly different universal constants. He publishes his thesis anonymously around the same time metas are becoming a household term, and at least one science journalist speculates on it and how alternate universes might explain the increasing prevalence of wildly different superpowers. He doesn’t claim credit for the honorary diploma awarded to the unknown theorist- he doesn’t want to risk drawing any attention to him and by extension Clark, who’s alien differences are far more of the ‘military experiment interesting’ variety then his.
He stops tinkering with Clark’s ship. He finally gets how it works. Now that he realizes how FTL travel has to work in this universe, tinkering with the mechanical generation and harnessing of the massive quantities of energy necessary to do is startlingly familiar. But it doesn’t matter. No matter how far and fast he travels, he’s never going to be able to get back to the life he used to know.
Perhaps this is what being the chosen one actually means- he’s meant to live a life without the force, so that when he returns to it in death he’ll be able to somehow...educate? the force? maybe?
Ok, he’s not great at the metaphysical spiritual side of things, but he does accept that going back is out of his control, and he’s doing good here, even if it’s not galaxy altering.
Despite all the therapy, he never doubts that his early life was real. He has his saber and deep, deep down he can feel a spark in the kyber. He can’t do anything with it, but it’s there. There’s also pieces of the utter wreck that was his ship in the cellar, next to the sleek unblemished pod that Clark arrived in. Shortly before Clark becomes Superman, he asks for his help in melting down his old ship to make unearthly alloys.
He’s not surprised when Clark tells him he met a ‘real’ ‘magic’ user- it stands to reason that considering how relatively easy it is to convert energy from one form to another in this universe (Clark can fly), at least one kind would bend to sentient willpower in a similar way as the force does.
It’s still a little nervewracking showing his lightsaber to someone new for the first time in a decade. Zantana scrutinizes, bewildered.
“There is some sort of power locked within, but it’s unfamiliar to me,” she admits finally. “I could probably brute force it and force the energy to release itself, but it would likely destroy the container.” Anakin politely refuses.
Later, after the justice league’s formation, Clark mentions to J’onn that he has a friend who might be able to work on his ship. J’onn is extremely doubtful when he’s brought to a bizarre autoshop in the midwest that looks half-like a roadside attraction. Anakin sighs and digs his hands into the guts of the craft, muttering incomprehensibly and yelling at clark to melt down some pieces from the special scrap pile. A few days later he explains the patches he’s done to an impressed J’onn. When he asks how a human came to learn such things, he’s absently informed that,
“I used to work in a junkshop in Tatooine. All sorts of ship parts came through.”
“I’m unfamiliar with this world.”
“Tell you what, if you ever meet anyone who’s heard it of it, send them my way, and I’ll make your next repair free.”
“Oh! I’m afraid I don’t have any earth money...”
“Ugh, of course you don’t. it’s cool, capitalism sucks anyway and everyone’s entitled to free transportation, regardless of the area they happen to live. I do ask that if you can’t pay for the repairs that you spend an equivalent number of hours either attending one of my free auto classes, or volunteer at a community-led charities of your choice, here I’ll get you a pamphlet-”
So the Martian Manhunter becomes a weekly volunteer at a Midwestern Food Waste Reclamation Facility. J’onn J’onzz ends up becoming Anakin Skywalker’s friend well before he becomes comes truly comfortable around Kal-El. For a telepath, 39 year old Anakin’s Jedi orderly mind is a soothing relief.
(again, Anakin has spent far more time meditating on Earth then he ever did at the temple. Before all this, spent five years dutifully memorizing the Jedi way even as he struggled to live up it’s basic practices. For the first few years on earth, religiously practicing every meditation technique Obi-Wan ever taught him, thinking obsessively about the philosophies he never had time to really process, is just a desperate attempt to reconnect with the force, prove himself worthy of it. But even after he gives up on ever touching the force again, he keeps up the practice, he can’t release his emotions exactly, but he does find peace. The tendency to stop mid-rant to earnestly pronounce made up zen bullshit and then sit quietly for an hour before picking up on his tirade again as though there was no interruption is one of the things many things people find profoundly weird about him)
Kal-El doesn’t stop asking new aliens and dimensional travelers if they’ve ever heard of Coruscant, or Hutts, or the Jedi Order. Anakin might have given up, but Superman remembers his older brother scrubbing away his own tears to focus on helping Clark calm down enough to touch the floor again. The more the Kryptonian’s powers developed in alarming ways, the more Anakin set aside talk of missing his home galaxy. Anakin might have claimed it wasn’t like that, but Clark was determined to take every chance his increasingly weird life threw at him, no matter how vanishingly small.
In the middle of his first battle with Braniac, Clark starts insulting his incomplete database. The world collector pauses, demanding a more precise explanation. Clark complies, giving his best technical description of Coruscant’s cityscape, Tatooine’s binary star system, and so on. Braniac is so distracted that Superman recovers completely from his kryptonite poisoning and easily saves the day.
Neither the lantern corp or the denizens of the neutral zone have the answers. Superman doesn’t mention it it Anakin, but he never stops looking and listening.
“How did you even meet that guy?” Flash asks curiously after stopping to say hello on one of their after work laps of the country.
“Aliens among us support group,” Kal-El responds deadpan.
“Oh. Wait, what? He’s an alien? I thought he was from the future or something! You’re messing with me. No way that’s a thing. How many people are in the support group? This is a joke, right?”
“Sorry, most of them aren’t out and I don’t want to violate their privacy- a lot of them have high profile jobs. How do you think I met J’onn?”
“SUPES I’M FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW YOU’VE GOTTA STOP”
Anakin is just sort of vaguely known by a solid chunk of the super community as ‘that one midwestern zen space mechanic’ and no one really questions it because everyone’s life has just gotten so goddamn weird. A few of them know he used to be a space wizard of some kind. Space wizards now being a regular hazard of life on earth, no one has reason to doubt this, and it’s as good an explanation as any for Anakin’s general vibe.
well. almost no one doubts this. Batman does not simply accept Anakin’s general bullshittery without carefully investigating and drawing his own conclusions. He does not share these with anyone.
But one day Clark- this is well after Superman became Kal-El to him, and not long after Kal-El tells him to call him Clark- comes up to him and asks for his help finding about an alternate universe. Knowing and dreading where this is going, Batman stalls,
“Shouldn’t you be asking one of the league members who regularly travels between universes?”
“I have, over the years,” Clark admits, awkwardly scuffing a boot on the floor of the cave. “But no one’s familiar with the exact one I’m looking for, and I thought since you’re a detective, and also one of the smartest people I know, you might be able to help me...”
“You’re an investigator yourself, and you can survive the vacuum of space,” Bruce shoots back flatly. “I’ve told you before Gotham is my priority, and this has ‘personal project’ all over it.”
“Come on, B, please,” Superman pleads, trailing Batman around the cave like an overgrown puppy. “In a few months it will have been 30 years! He’s my brother! Just let me see the research you’ve already done!”
“Who says I’ve already done research on your brother?”
Clark shoots him a look. And Bruce concedes the point with a grunt.
“I’ll need need to talk with him first,” Bruce finally concedes. “Bring him by the cave. Take the-”
“Take the tunnel entrance, I know, I know,” Clark agrees with a grin. “This doesn’t mean he’s authorized to know your secret identity. Thanks Bruce, this means a lot. I’ll ask him tomorrow about his schedule.”
Superman flies off and Batman scrubs his face with a gloved hand. After a moment he pulls up Anakin’s file on the main monitor. Bruce honestly respects and likes the man, as much as he respects and likes anyone who’s not family. He admires his sense his style, appreciates his upgrades to the batmobile, and is impressed by both this civil rights work and his additions to the scientific community.
That doesn’t mean he’s not convinced that Anakin’s brother is a bit insane. Again, he’s not judging! He dresses like a bat to scare random henchmen and beat up actual demigods! He wishes his rogues gallery was as capable of directing their ptsd-inspired delusions and staggering intellects towards such productive pursuits!
Bruce was already in quiet awe of the Kent’s ability to raise an outrageously superpowered being without blowing up a chunk of the country; their success in derailing a supervillian origin story just puts him over the edge. He stares at the three most likely profiles he’s pulled together. Christen Jones, from a negligent family, death certificate filled out suspicously sloppily at age 3. Earl Lucas, went missing at age 9, both parents dead in a violent assault. And Jake Hayden, who at age 5 disappeared along with the rest of his family in a seismic accident later linked to Luthercorp.
Anyone of them could have suffered on the streets for years and coped by establishing an elaborate fantasy world, aided by self medication, only to eventually be picked up by the Kent’s and start healing. Certainly Anakin had the intellect to create worlds in his mind. All his rogues were smart enough to create their own little realities in their heads- it doesn’t mean they were actually reachable.
Unfortunately Anakin had a Kryptonian younger brother who was determined to actually find the space wizard knight homeworld, even as the 'Jedi’ in question had slowly moved away his reliance on the delusion as an adult. Batman really didn’t see any way bringing up his conclusions to Anakin or Clark could possibly be helpful, and so many alien allies had a ‘If you find about the Jedi please contact Kal-El of Krypton on Earth’ pamphlet that it would be excruciatingly awkward to try and discretely correct anyone.
Bruce was not looking forward to this conversation.

      ( odeya rush, cis female, she/her, muse a ) oh snap! is that SERAFINA HOLMES? they work over at high volume where some of the other employees have labeled them as THE BENEVOLENT. that’s probably because they can be a bit ( compassionate ) but also pretty ( diffident ) they’re TWENTY-THREE and they’ve been living in woodstock for TWENTY-ONE years. it must be their shift because i totally hear THE VERVE blasting from the record store. ( expensive perfume, discarded music sheets strewn across the room, perfectly manicured nails ) [ BONNIE, TWENTY-TWO, EST, SHE/HER ]
PINTEREST. PLAYLIST. INTERVIEW.
BASIC INFO:
name: serafina richelle holmes
nickname(s): sera
birthday: september 7th, 1976
zodiac: virgo
hometown: woodstock, il
gender: cis female ( she/her )
sexual orientation: bisexual
height: 5′5
eye color: light blue
hair color: brown with highlights
tattoos/piercings: butterflies on her ribcage, ears both have double piercings
family: richelle holmes ( mother ), samuel holmes ( father ), sammy holmes ( older brother )
ABOUT:
both of sera’s parents grew up in woodstock, they never got the opportunity to travel outside of the city, but they still loved it enough to raise a family there
the two of them were high school sweethearts, even got married before their first semester at the local community college
within five years, they had given birth to their first born, sammy and then two years later, sera was born
sera’s brother has always been boisterous and unapologetically himself, sera couldn’t imagine being the same way
often, sera was just there observing wherever she went, and she never really went out of her way to speak to people
in her household, she watched her older brother constantly argue with their parents, and she never wanted to be on either side of those conversations
she became the perfect daughter that they began to dote on, and to keep that, sera would always do whatever they asked
she’s always been gifted in music, and it’s something her parents instantly picked up. she tried many instruments, but she mostly stuck with piano + strings
in high school, she was a constant overachiever. played sports, was in band, in accelerated classes. you name it, she was most likely in it. she eventually graduated top of her class and received an offer from juilliard to study music composition there
at first, she loved being in the city and surrounded by music and people that shared the same sentiment and goals that she did.
however, she realized the stakes were high and the expectations higher. sera tried her best to keep up with her classmates
it was when she had a disagreement with a tutor of hers that she finally left it, withdrew from the school, and was on a flight back to illinois within a week
it’s not something she’s proud of, walking away when things got difficult, but now she’s back in woodstock ( and has been for a little over a year or so ) trying to find that love of music that she used to have
personality wise, sera is a textbook people pleaser and has always struggled with telling people no, and she will always drop everything to help you out
it’s also her fatal flaw; she’ll never express her own feelings and would rather continue to let people walk over her due to her fear of confrontation
however, now that she’s back in town and has gotten a job finally, she’s done some self-reflecting and wants to use this time to improve herself and find out what she really wants to do in life
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
best friend from high school: maybe they were friends before sera went to ny and now that she’s back they’ve started to get back together
people she tutors: sera’s probably put advertisements around town if anyone wants any music lessons
bad influences: sera is too stuck up, i am begging someone to help her live a little
coworkers that don’t get along: either they don’t like her attitude of how everything needs to be right all the time or she doesn’t necessarily like the way they do things when they work the same shift
potential roommates: maybe someone who has an open room in an apartment or is about to, she doesn’t necessarily want to always live with her parents
literally anything y’all can think of i will be down for!

Chapter 19: Baby Brother
Tumblr media

[masterlist] [kia’s slambook]
warnings: implied suicide attempts, please read at your own risk
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“I’m Sakusa Kia. My mama is (L/N) (F/N) and my papa is Sakusa Kiyoomi,” Kia proudly says, looks back to smile at her father. He pats her head in approval.
“Do you wanna answer questions, baby?” Kiyoomi asks her and she nods. He nods at the interviewers and they quickly scribble questions for Kia on their notepads. “She’ll only answer three questions.”
“No! Five!” Kia corrects her dad, but her hand is raising only two fingers. Atsumu coos at her and she blushes.
“Amongst your papa’s teammates, who is your favorite uncle?” An interviewer asks and Kia falls into deep concentration. Atsumu has a smug look on his face, confident that she’ll choose him. After a while, Kia answers.
“Yoyo and Koko.” The two boys cheer from her answer, leaving Atsumu in despair.
“I thought I was your favorite!” Atsumu whines, looking at Kia with puppy eyes. Kiyoomi gags at his actions, earning a glare from his daughter.
“Mu-chan’s my boyfriend!” Kia claims, making Atsumu smile.
“You heard that everyone. I’m not available anymore,” Atsumu declares with a giggle.
“She’s breaking up with you tomorrow for your twin brother,” Kiyoomi mutters, but the mic picks it up so the whole room hears. Everyone laughs, a pout forming in Atsumu’s lips.
“Next question!” Kia excitedly speaks to the mic.
“Who do you love more? Mama or Papa?”
“Next question!” Kia repeats, ignoring the question.
“You have to answer the question,” Kiyoomi tells her. She shakes her head, the whole room laughing at how she handled the hard question. “I’ll take you to the theme park if you answer.”
“Are you bribing your child?” Atsumu asks. Kiyoomi rolls his eyes at him, not minding his words.
“Really?” Kia’s eyes lighten up. “Then, I’ll answer.”
“Who do you love more? Mama or papa?” Kiyoomi repeats the question in anticipation.
“I love you both the most,” Kia answers, earning everyone’s awws. Kiyoomi kisses the top of her head, his mask hiding his smile.
“Kia has to announce something!” Kia suddenly says in the mic, making you and Kiyoomi nervous.
“Tell me first before you say it,” Kiyoomi tries to take her away from the mic, but she’s already on the table, the mic in her hand.
“Kia is gonna be a big sister! I’m gonna have a baby brother!”
The interviewers clap, congratulating Kiyoomi. They boys on stage exchange looks of confusion, waiting confirmation from their teammate. He forms a cross with his hands, signaling that it isn’t true. Kiyoomi glances at you, who is standing at the sides, hidden from the press. He sees you hide, so he gets worried.
The post-game press conference ends, Kia and Kiyoomi getting off the stage together. He looks for you backstage, but doesn’t find you. He calls you, but you don’t answer. Finally, you answer.
“I’m the parking lot waiting for you,” you answer even before he can ask. You end the call, not wanting anymore questions. He goes to the said place and sees you standing by his car.
“Are you okay?” Kiyoomi asks you, Kia sleeping in his arms. You nod, smiling at him. He tucks Kia in her seat, reclining it so she can sleep comfortably. The two of you enter the car, pretending not to notice the tension in the air.
The three of you head home, the silence you’re making, defeaning. He and Kia takes a shower, while you make dinner. After their bath, they settle in the dining table, waiting for your food. The elephant in the room is probably staring at the two of you.
After dinner, Kia sleeps immediately since she wasn’t able to sleep. You tuck her into the bed in her room, wanting to talk with Kiyoomi alone. You head to his room, lying down beside him. Not able to let the words out of your chest, you pretend to sleep instead.
“Talk to me,” he pouts like a child, the light from outside making his face visible to you. You then lean on the headboard, turning the lamp on. He mirrors your actions and waits for you to speak up.
“Kiyoomi, is there anything you want to tell me?” You finally ask him. He sighs nervously.
“Do you want another child?”
His questions brought waves of memories. And you let those memories wash over you.
You were on your knees, lowering your head. Tears were dropping on the wooden floor as you were not able to look up. Your mother was furious when you showed up to her house pregnant.
“Are you sure want to keep the child?” Your mother asked you. “How about your studies? Your future?” She exclaimed. “What did Sakusa say about this? He should marry you because you’re carrying his child.”
“I broke up with. I don’t want my child to grow up thinking he or she is the reason for an unhappy marriage. Like me,” you replied to your mother bravely. You felt a slap land on your tear stained cheek, leaving a pink mark there.
Even after all that, she still let you stay in her house. You didn’t know why. A couple of times she suggested you to abort the child you were carrying, but you didn’t want to. You were determined to keep the child, your child. The only piece of Sakusa Kiyoomi you had left.
You finally gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl your eyes have ever laid. She was an angel to your eyes and she still is. Sakusa Kia.
Your delivery was normal. Keiji and Kenma were there with you. They stayed with you until you were discharged. Akaashi’s parents were the ones who paid for your hospital bills while Kenma bought the basic needs for you and Kia.
Your mother made you study while you were pregnant. Even just a week after your birth, she forced you to go to school. You obeyed her requests, thankful that still gave you roof above yours and Kia’s heads. She was being generous to you, or that’s what you thought.
She was stealing from you and lying to you. You didn’t know Kenma and the Akaashis were sending you money for Kia’s needs as well as Kia’s. She was using your money to buy her own wants. You weren’t aware that when you were in school, she wouldn’t feed Kia or change her diapers. She left Kia to cry the whole day to the point your child passed out. And she had the guts to tell you to put Kia up for adoption since she was a nuisance to you. That was the last straw.
You told your aunt and Kenma about your mother’s doing. The next day, a case was filed against her. She kicked you out because of that. You’ve never been in contact with her since then.
You lied to Kenma and Keiji, so they would stop sending you money. You didn’t want to be a nuisance to them. You told them you found a job and that you could handle things on your own.
But you couldn’t. You could only afford living in a small room. You had to wash in public baths. The only thing you could feed Kia was your breast milk, and you weren’t even sure if it was healthy or enough. You thought you weren’t a good mother. You thought you were only putting Kia’s life at risk.
You shut your doors closed. You didn’t allow anyone in. You fought your monsters alone and you lost to them. They ate you up. You fell deep into the darkness. You gave up. You lost hope. You did something you should not have.
That night, all you could hear was Kia. It was as if she was comforting you. She didn’t leave your side the whole night. You could feel her holding onto you. She pulled you out of that darkness.
Luckily, Keiji and Kenma able to find you in time. Your uncle and aunt sent you to a place to recover. They’ve always considered you as their child and you’re always grateful towards them for that. Kia stayed with the Akaashis the whole time you were recovering.
After 3 long months, you were finally able to see your daughter again. In the times you weren’t together, you realized you weren’t alone. You slowly opened up the doors, allowing others to enter your life once again. You should have never fought your battles alone. Your best friends were there. Your family was there.
There’s Kia, your reason to live.
“Baby, why are you crying?” Kiyoomi asks, pulling you into his chest. You cry harder, holding onto his shirt tightly. He lets you weep on his chest until your cries turn into sobs. He calms you down by drawing random shapes on your back.
“Kiyoomi, I don’t think I deserve another child,” you confess. He stops his actions then moves down to level his face with yours.
“May I know why?” He questions, tucking strands of hair behind your ear. So you tell him. You tell him what you went through. After listening to your story, you see a tear fall from his eye. “I want to say that I should have reached out sooner because maybe, just maybe, you wouldn’t have gone through all of that.”
“Omi, don’t blame yourself please. It wa-” he places a finger on your lips, stopping you from talking.
“All of those happened already and I couldn’t change that. I wasn’t there with you in your darkest times, and maybe it was even my fault that you went through it. I promise you that you don’t have to go through all that alone. You don’t have to sleep on the floor anymore. You will never feel hunger again.”
“Kiyoomi,” you start to cry again, seeing him let go of the tears he has been holding back. The sincerity of his words striking through your heart. You wipe his tears away, caressing his cheek with your thumb.
“It doesn’t have to be now. It can be next year or even in the next 10 years. I just really want to try another for child. I want to experience pregnancy with you. Please, please, please give me the chance to be there from the start,” he says in between cries.
He places his face on the crook of your neck, letting himself cry even harder. Your hair cards into his hair, gently scratching his scalp to calm him down. He wraps his arms around your hips as nuzzles his head on your chest. The silence comforting the two of you. After a few minutes of thinking, you finally speak again.
“What if it’s not a boy?” He pushes himself off of you from your question. He looks at you with hopeful eyes.
“What?” He asks again, making sure you aren’t playing with him.
“You want a son, right? I mean Kia wouldn’t talk about a baby brother if you-” he crashes his lips with yours, stopping you mid-sentence. Your hands find home on the back of his head, fingers tangled with his hair. He pulls away from you, then you see him crying again. “Why are crying again?”
“Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.” He litters soft kisses all over your face, making you giggle.
“Just make sure you give me a son. Because if we will have more daughters, I’m afraid that will really love you more than me. You’ll spoil them way too much,” you tell him and you see a big smile on his face.
“What if our next child is still a girl?” He cocks an eyebrow at you quite teasingly.
“Then I guess we have to try again until we have a son,” you response with a confident smile.
“You’re driving me crazy. I love you so much.”
You’re finally giving him the chance you never gave him 4 years ago.

Many people imagine their dream person or think of the person they want to date or marry from a young age. Y/N remembered going to sleepovers and her friends talking about how they wanted a boyfriend with blue eyes and blonde hair or brown hair and brown eyes. But when Y/N's turn came around she always said the same thing "I don't care what they look like as long as they are the right person for me." And that's when the game would end. Because twelve year olds could not fathom that everyone had their person and at some point they'd meet and everything would work out. Her mindset was set as growing up her mom would always tell her the same story. When I met your dad I just knew she'd say.
Tito had dated his fair share of girls. Blonde, brown haired, a red head, and a spontaneous colored haired girl here and there. But none caught his attention. Not that they weren't pretty or anything but Tito was not really one to date and dump. He liked forming connections and really getting to know them. But being a hockey player was not really quite helpful. They'd be invited to a party here and there and of course Mat begged Tito to go with him because he needed a wingman and Tito could not really say no to his best friend.
~~~~
Y/N had believed she had met her special person her second year into college. A tall lanky boy with brown hair. They had both met in the library when they reached for the same book. Might seem cheesy but she took it as a hint. After "considently" bumping into eachother in the library many more times he had asked her out. Most of their dates were pretty basic just like her. Maybe that's why she enjoyed them so much. Two years. Two years is how long she dated him for. But sadly people fall out of love. She had heard about that happening only in movies. Never really thinking that it could happen to her. But then she heard some of the worst words anyone could ever hear. "I don't love you anymore."
Her heart was sad. Her first real relationship. Who she believed was the one. But she understood. This wasn't her fairytale. But she was broken. Her still being in love. Thoughts invading her mind. What did she do wrong? What could she have done better? So after that it took her time to open up again, to bring those walls down to handsome looking strangers. She wasn't one just to date for fun. So she rarely did bring them down. Sometimes she'd sit in her dark room late at night letting her thoughts consume her. How maybe she'd never find the one, how she was unlovable, how she had way too high of expectations to believe there was someone for everyone.
~~~~~
Every Monday morning Y/N would go to the same coffee shop and get the same order, a medium coffee with sugar and cream. To her it was a nice way to start the week. She had been doing it since she moved to Brooklyn in 2016.
Tito had been begging Mat to go with him to this coffee shop in Brooklyn that apparently had great coffee. Tito was what you could call a food and drinks connoisseur. Having cooked many times for his teammates and best friend.
" Come on Mat, Grace and Anders said it the best they've had and they've lived here much longer than us. Plus you owe me for getting you that girls number last week, don't forget to call her." Tito wasn't one to get acquainted with Mat's hookups but he did feel bad when the next morning Mat was kicking them out before sunrise.
Mat finally agreed and here they were on a Monday morning way too early for Mat's liking for a straight black coffee that was "rich in flavor" according to Tito. It was quite busy for it being Monday but they patiently waited in line.
Y/N gathered her stuff and exited the crowded coffee shop, careful not to bump into anyone and headed her way to work.
After waiting for about fifteen minutes they ordered two medium coffees and headed out to the busy New York streets.
She had walked about ten minutes away from the coffee shop before she realized that she forgot her phone. Y/N checked her watch and noticed that if she was gonna make it on time she had only five minutes to retrieve her phone. So she quickly but carefully dogged through people as she made her way back to the coffee shop.
Tito and Mat were casually walking back to the car having parked it a few blocks down when they saw someone running their way. Tito wasn't paying much attention due to savoring his cup of coffee which to him was totally worth the twenty minute drive and six dollars.
"Dude she's hot." Mat turned around and checked out the girl that somewhat seemed like she was running away from something instead of for something.
"Mat that's gross. You literally didn't even see her face and are labelling her hot just by seeing her ass, I understand why you need a wingman now."
"Hey!" Mat slapped his best friend's shoulder as Tito drank his coffee trying to stifle a laugh (which he failed) since Mathew knew it was true.
~~~
Y/N had heard it many times from her friends, family, and probably even a few strangers. It was time to get a date. She wasn't desperate to really get anywhere. She was a 22 year old living in one of the most populated states in the country. She has time right? Deep down she knew that if she didn't get out there her person would probably not come by themselves. Which brings her to present day staring at her  phone screen at 1am. Earlier in the day Y/N's friend texted her that she knew someone who deemed specific qualities the young romantic wanted.
~~~
Y/N met Grace in the coffee shop. She had come in a little bit later due to having the day off and sleeping in. Grace and Ruby sat in one of the corners of the small spaced coffee shop and Y/N sat next to them trying to stay in her own space but finding it quite difficult when there was a cute baby trying to get her attention a few feet away. After Grace apologizing for invading her space and Y/N saying it was really no problem they continued to meet in the coffee shop every once in a while. And a friendship blossomed later having exchanged numbers.
Grace was great. She listened to Y/N's tall tales of soulmates and love and she even told her about how she found her love (which she referred to as anders, y/n never having met him before) and how they had a beautiful baby girl together. She knew Y/N wanted someone who was sweet and kind and liked forming deeper connections so when she had an encounter with Tito she knew she should text her.
~~~
It was a late Friday night and the boys were celebrating a win in a rowdy club somewhere in downtown Brooklyn. The single guys trying to get the attention of some girls by buying them drinks. Grace had been standing at the bar with some of the other girls when she saw that Tito sat alone at the booth that occupied their stuff.
"Seems like our stuff doesn't really need a bodyguard, why aren't you out there buying a girl a drink or dancing?" She spoke somewhat loudly due to the pounding music and shouting of people.
"Not really my thing." He smiled softly back at his captain's wife. Tito was not fond of clubs or bars. He felt as though it was way too loud to actually have a proper conversation with someone. That's when it clicked. Of all the times the team had gone out not once had Tito really smiled or joked around with a girl. Grace connected the dots and decided to text Y/N in the morning.
~~~
A simple message was displayed across Y/N's screen. Simply reading "hey i know dates aren't your thing but i know someone who i think you might like."
After sleeping on it for quite a few more hours than she needed to, she decided to bite the bullet and text Grace back. "Why the hell not."
Not even two minutes later Y/N's phone dinged indicating a response. "Perfect, I'll let him know."
There she sat on her bed over thinking if this was really a good idea.
~~
Tito was way over his head. Grace had texted him that she knew of a girl who was quite exactly Tito's type. At least she loosely stated it that way. He had agreed only on the condition that Mat was having a girl over later tonight and he wanted to be as far away from that as possible since they did have pretty thin walls. So exactly five hours later here he stood outside the infamous coffee shop which held the secret ingredient to the best coffee he had. Grace didn't tell him much other than her hair color which was quite difficult to find in New York since every once in a while a sea of same colored haired girls would come by. He waited outside deeming it more on the gentlemenier side. Whatever that meant. Ten minutes later wrapping his coat on tighter and checking his watch for what seemed to be the five time. Maybe she stood him up. I mean he didn't have too many redeeming qualities. I mean hell he lived in New York and didn't like clubs, parties, and sometimes hated big crowds which were what seemed to be a big part of where he lived. Rocking on the back of his heels he decided to wait a bit longer thinking that hopefully she was just running late.
~~~
Indeed she had been running quite late. Her cousin had pleaded her to take care of her baby because she had some errands to run. She didn't mind at all since she did in fact love babies. But when four thirty rolled around and still no sign of her cousin she began to worry. She didn't have this mystery dudes number (which Grace referred to him as Anthony) so she couldn't really text him that she was gonna be a bit late. She really hoped he would wait because all throughout the day her excitement grew more and more. Finally five rolled around and Y/N quickly handed off the baby and changed into something more date worthy rushing out the door in the cold breeze of the afternoon. She rushed to the coffee shop and as she arrived she could see a tall stranger looking down at the ground presumably freezing since it was pretty cold. She dodged a few people hoping that this was indeed her date.
"Hi uhm are you Anthony." She spoke up and she stood awkwardly pulling the sleeves of her sweaters. "Gosh please be Anthony or im just gonna look like an idiot." She whispered.
Tito turned around at a soft voice and was faced with one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen. Her baby hairs were sticking out and her nose and cheeks were red from the cold, she seemed to be somewhat out of breath.
Y/N looked up and caught sight of some of the most memorizing eyes she had ever seen. This handsome stranger who she presumed  as Anthony had amazing features.
Tito cleared his throat and reached out his hand. "Hi uhm yeah im Anthony but you can call me Tito, or at least that's what my friends call me." He began to ramble.
"Nice to meet you im y/n." They shook hands and a soft electric shock was felt between the two. They both glanced up and she knew it was too soon to tell since she had just met him but she felt an extra special connection with him.
Hellooo babies and dear Anons 👋🏼🤗 Welcome to a new ‘Q&A’ post. Enjoy 🙃
Tumblr media
Here, dear Anon. I spoke and gave my interpretation of Find U Again here: https://fa-by.tumblr.com/post/648195009382842368/2-%C9%9F (sixth question).
Tumblr media
Here, dear Anon. I talked about Michael Clifford here: https://fa-by.tumblr.com/post/648194217526640640/%C9%9F (Point n° 2).
Tumblr media
Nope and nope, dear Anon. Camila was in a relationship before they got together. May I advise you to listen to their songs with a little more attention, dear?
Tumblr media
They were certainly more distant, dear Anon. As for the not speaking, it was a bit impossible not to do it work-wise speaking, but they certainly didn't talk about them and their situation. Not until Laur finally got her head out of her ass.
Tumblr media
1) Of course I do, dear Anon. 2) She didn't hide it very well as you say. 3) Yes, because Lauren, but also Camila, are anything but subtle when they're jealous.
Tumblr media
Thank you so much, dear Anon 🤗 and forgive me, but I don't think I understood what you mean. Do you mean if they were angry at each other? Because if they were angry at each other, then I don't think they shared a room 🤷🏻‍♀‍
Tumblr media
Hiii to you too, baby CS 👋🏼😄 Lauren created her Tumblr at 14, so, no, I'm sorry, dear. It has nothing to do with Camila.
Tumblr media
Hello to you too, dear Anon 👋🏼😄 When they stopped communicating again. It became painful when they stopped sharing with each other moments, situations, feelings, desires, opinions, fears, and everything that is enclosed in communication. But this happened after their first breakup. Their real first breakup lasted very little and led to their rings, dear. Sooo.
Tumblr media
No, dear Anon, they weren't fighting. That was a soundcheck, not the concert. Can't you see they didn't have their white stage costumes? Can't you see they were all lazily rehearsing the steps? And then, I'm sorry, dear, but have you ever seen Camila angry? Does it look like she's angry here?
Tumblr media
That's just Mila being Mila, dear Anon 🤣
Tumblr media
No, dear Anon. That rumor was created as soon as the video of Camila singing the ‘The Hills/Crazy in Love’ mashup cover came out on July 3, 2015. It's just that. A cover like many others she's done. Mila at the time still didn't have the possibility and the access to record in a professional studio outside of 5H, so let alone if she could write and sell a song. And another proof I can give you about this is the fact that she hadn't even written I Know What You Did Last Summer yet. Camila, Ally, and Troy (Ally's ex-boyfriend) went to Taylor's ‘1989 Tour’ concert on July 10, 2015 (Shiseido was one of the opening acts, and that was the day ‘they wrote’, sure, Jane, a part of IKWDLS backstage). Exactly 7 days after that video. So, dear Anon, my answer is no. I don't believe at all in the possibility that it happened.
Tumblr media
Hello to you too, dear Anon 👋🏼😄 Yes, I read it, and no, dear. The story was written in 2014, so even though we can find coincidences today, it means absolutely nothing. They're just that: coincidences. The girl who wrote it, Jazmin, is from Germany, and that alone should make you realize she's not an insider. She's just a really talented and brilliant girl who has been able to write stories like Do I Wanna Know, CC7, and LJ10.
Tumblr media
Of course I've seen/heard that video, dear Anon. I also talked about it in my last post, about the kiss more specifically. And to answer your questions:
1) neither. You can hear someone say: “This is weird. I missed you so much”. And honestly? I find this part of the audio so incredibly strange. You wanna know why? Because the video starts with screaming fans, right? One of them even screaming Lauren’s name. Then there's this sentence said at the same time as the kiss. That alone proves they didn't say it, but that’s not even what makes that sentence weird for me. It's the fact that I believe it was inserted into the video. I mean, I can't hear what Lucy and Nando are saying who are much closer to the camera than Camren, but I can clearly hear this sentence which is should supposedly have been said by one of them in a low voice from inside the van? Like, whaaaat? Come on, now. Look and listen for yourself if you don't believe me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAZS1QhEgoU.
2) Surprised by what? And why are you so sure they slept together?
I hope you're having a good day too, dear Anon.
Tumblr media
Hello to you too, dear Anon 👋🏼😄 To me, Camila explains in a brilliantly sarcastic and sassy way, how she doesn't need a guy. Like “Cinderella never asked for a prince”, in this case, her.
If you think about it, all Disney princesses are beautiful, well-dressed, thin, with long hair, often naïve, and especially in the first movies, white. And all of them always follow the same basic model: they wait for the intervention of prince charming to solve the problems of their existence. Disney has luckily evolved over the years, but do you realize that they’ve made us grow up with the idea that to save us from our troubles and to change our lives, will be the encounter with ‘the right man’? That finding the love of one's life is the goal for a woman, and that beauty is the means to conquer it?
Disney movies, undoubtedly, convey a lot of positive messages. They can spur us on to being altruistic and optimistic, to commit ourselves to what we do, to try to change our own destiny, etc., etc. But they also have negative aspects and messages like, indeed, a Cinderella. The poor and beautiful maid, forced to work as a scullery maid by her stepmother and evil stepsisters, envious of her beauty. An unhappy housewife who doesn’t lift a finger to change the bad situation she’s in. And what's the only way her life changes? When the handsome and rich prince she met for only five minutes, marries her. I mean, what? Sis, you danced for a couple of hours at a party with him! You basically know nothing about him, but you marry him? Okay...
Disney animated movies are rites of passage, and although it may not seem from what I said, I really love animated movies. Although they have messages that may or may not adversely affect, they're also beautiful and fun. I grew up seeing them, and I am who I am today. I watched the videotapes every day and knew them all by heart. But then growing up, I realized that not everything they show is right. So, I advise you, dear Anon, and whoever is reading this, if you have a little sister, a little cousin, or are dealing with little girls, please, explain the differences to them as you watch those movies with them. Explain to them that beauty isn't everything. Explain to them that they don't need to be blonde and blue-eyed like Cinderella. Because they are and will be beautiful as they are, and that especially when they're older, this will not have to become a requirement to be socially accepted.
But anyway. Sorry if I dwelt, dear Anon 😅 I believe Camila used this song as her own unique way to dispel the stereotype of the classic Disney princess. Sentences like “She said ‘a dream is a wish your heart makes’, and he's a sad reality”, “Us twenty first century girls need chivalry too”, and “I'm still a damn princess to you” make us understand this. She didn't need a guy, and that's all the song stands for. Hope you have a good day too, dear 😊
🤸🏻‍♀‍🤸🏻‍♀‍🤸🏻‍♀‍
Aaand I'm done 😛 I hope I was helpful in this case too 🙃 Thank you all for your asks and as usual, know that I'm available for those who have questions, so feel free to ask 😊
Always remember to be kind, to others and to yourselves. Be a good example. Be patient. Be safe and take care of yourselves. Don't let our ship sink. Keep shipping them, but please respectfully 🙏🏼 Sending you virtual love and hugs 🤗🤗🤗 I love you, babies. Always with love, F ❤️
Fred with a Muggle!reader:
Warnings: swearing, sexual innuendos
Tumblr media
He met you after the battle of Hogwarts.
He needed something from Charlie and Charlie wanted to meet in a muggle bar
"I can't get over the fact that you frequent a bar. With a muggle running it. And she knows you're a wizard." Fred admitted.
"I'm not the only one that frequents here, a lot of ministry members come here too." Charlie shrugged.
Fred had heard a lot about you, Charlie saying you often listened to people's problems, occasionally giving them free drinks if they've had a lousy day.
He'd never actually seen you. Charlie was always shit with descriptions
That's when a glass was put in front of Charlie and Fred looked over
Your hair was in a ponytail, a dishrag over your shoulder and a black cami that seemed to make your eyes pop.
"The usual?" You asked Charlie.
"Thanks dear." He nodded as you poured a glass.
"And you?" You asked Fred.
The second your eyes met his you felt something similar to a shockwave go down your spine.
"....Uh.... I'm... Not much of... A drinker.." Fred said making Charlie raise a brow.
"We have different sodas. If you want any of that." You said.
"... Root beer." He finally said making you nod.
From that point on, Fred showed up every Wednesday, it being the most empty so he could talk to you in peace.
"Hi Weasley." You said not even looking up from the book you were reading.
He sat at the bar.
"interesting story?" He asked.
You lifted the book so he could see it's title "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them"
He rose a brow. "How'd you get your hands on a wizard book?" He asked.
"It had a muggle release. I bought it after finding out it was real." You admitted.
Fred chuckled. "Curious about the wizarding world?" Fred asked.
"how can I not be? This world I live in... It's boring." You said.
"Surely it's not that bad." Fred said.
"Oh but it is. See I'm supposed to be a productive member of society. This isn't considered that apparently." You said.
"screw society." He shrugged.
"I think I'm beginning to really like you Weasley." You said with a smile.
He gave you a smile and your heart pounded.
Since then Fred basically visited you every day now.
He'd watch you work if you were too busy but on the empty days you'd sit at the bar with him.
Today was an empty day, much to Fred's luck.
"Hello there." You greeted.
"Helllooo" he said sitting down.
You sat next to him, a look of obvious exhaustion falling over your face the second you made contact with the chair.
"long day?" Fred asked.
"Long. Long. LONG. Day." You sighed.
"the ministry men just kept coming in. And that's not a problem. The problem is they all order the same damn drinks and I'm always on my feet" you groaned.
"prop your legs up on me, I really don't care." Fred suggested. You did, moving the chair closer.
"I have a question." Fred said.
"I have an answer." You replied.
"Do you own this bar?" He asked.
You nodded. "Used to be my brother's." You said.
"What happened?" Fred asked.
"...There's a reason why I'm allowed near magic." You said.
It registered with Fred what you meant.
"Your brother's a wizard?" He asked.
"He was." You said.
Fred frowned.
"He died in the battle for hogwarts." You said softly.
Fred realized your last name... Your brother saved his life.
"Sorry... Was Charles L/n your brother?" Fred asked.
You nodded.
"Your brother saved me." Fred said.
You blinked.
"You... You're the wizard he...."
You swallowed looking in Fred's eyes.
"Fred.... Thank you." You said.
"For what?" He asked.
"For not letting my brother's sacrifice be in vain. Charlie tells me how much you've helped people after the war... I'm glad you're living your life." You said sincerely.
He almost expected anger from you. But instead you were grateful.
He looked in your eyes and you looked in his.
Fred finally got the nerve to kiss you.
You looked forward to seeing him every day now, always smiling as he entered
He'd kiss you from across the bar making you smile as you worked.
One day you decided to close early though and Fred wanted you to actually see the wizarding world.
So he took you to the burrow to meet his parents for the weekend.
You were nervous the entire time but he kept reassuring you that Molly would fucking love you
Spoiler alert: she did.
Harry didn't seem to mind you either, you shaking his hand.
It felt nice for him to meet someone and not have them go "OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE BOY WHO LIVED!"
"So what do you do for a living?" Arthur asked.
"I uhm. I own a pub." You admitted.
"So that's where Fred has been running off to." George chuckled.
Percy walked in and you rose a brow.
"....Wait you're their brother!?" You said.
Percy gave you a "Don't you say a word" look but George blinked.
"How do you know Percy?" Fred asked.
"He comes to the pub every now and again." You admitted making him facepalm.
Fred and George gaped.
"Our brother. In a bar? Have you no shame Percy?" George said.
"Fred's girlfriend owns that bar, which he goes to everyday, and I'm the spectacle here?" Percy asked.
"Yeah because you have a constant stick shoved up your--"
"OKAY GINNY!" Percy cut her off making you laugh.
Fred wrapped his arm around you with a smile.
You ended up really enjoying your time there, answering questions Arthur had about muggle objects.
You went to bed early your first night there Molly sitting down with Fred
"We love her." Molly said.
"Really?" Fred asked.
"She's amazing Fred. Truly." Arthur agreed.
Fred felt relieved hearing this.
He showed you all sorts of things in the wizarding world
Your personal favorite was butterbeer.
When you had to return back to the muggle world you were kind of disappointed.
But you started making weekend trips to the Burrow a regular thing.
There was this one night you were really busy though.
This time the Weasley's came to you.
"What are you all doing here?" You asked.
"Y/n, I need an ale!" Someone yelled making you groan.
"Give me a table." Fred said. Him helping out wasn't uncommon.
"Five." You said, handing him a notepad
The family watched you two in action, both of you working around each other in impressive yet strategic ways.
"Can we help?" Ginny asked.
You whipped around and nodded.
"If you come across any empty glasses, clean them." You said. Molly and Arthur sat watching their children all assist you.
"Shit!" You grumbled as the jukebox glitched again.
"Repairio." Hermione said making it work.
"You are a godsend Granger. Truly." You said with a laugh as you sped past her.
Your balance skills with treys of alcohol was honestly impressive
Along with Fred and George's speedy order taking.
Before you knew it the bar was empty.
You finally turned off the open sign and hugged Fred.
"Thank. God." You whined.
He chuckled and Ron gaped.
"This is what you do? All day? No magic?" Ron asked.
You nodded.
"Goddess. Your girlfriend is a goddess." Ron said making you snort.
Fred kissed your head and you sighed pulling off the apron.
"Alright. Tell me we're going home, I am exhausted and looking forward to Molly's cooking." You said making Fred's brow raise.
"Did you just call... The burrow home?" George noticed.
"...I guess I did." You shrugged.
Fred already was forming wedding plans in his head.
George, Fred and you all rode separately from the rest of the group.
"Alright. Be real with me. How many times have you shagged on the bar?" George asked making you choke on air.
"Christ George!" Fred gaped.
"I'm just saying, it's right there!" George said.
"....Like three times, but that is besides the point!" You answered.
"I knew it!" George said.
"and how, pray tell did you know that?" Fred asked.
"One of your shirts were behind the bar." George said making both of you groan.
Fred didn't mind helping you out during the busy days.
A secret passage to the wizarding world being right next to it didn't hurt either.
Fred and you now had been seeing each other for about a year.
The Christmas season was a nice one, spending it with his family
Molly made you a sweater, which during the winter never came off.
Fred however was gearing up to ask you to marry him.
You already moved in with him after your six month anniversary.
Now he was fidgeting with a ring in his pocket as you worked.
"So this would go... Here." You muttered to yourself.
Fred just had to find the right time.
"Fuck, why is the scotch missing a cap?!" You groaned.
When it was just you and him.
The bell on the door rang, indicating the last customer left and Fred used a quick spell to shut off the open sign.
"thanks." You sighed as you found the missing Scotch cap.
"Hey. Why don't you take a break?" Fred suggested.
When was the right time to even ask you?
You nodded and sat next to him.
"What's in your pocket?" You asked noticing him keeping rather close to it.
Well. Now was the perfect time!
Fred swallowed and leaned forward taking your hands into his.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too. Are you dying or something?" You asked concerned.
"what? No-- no." He shook his head.
"I love you so much and I want to make you happy for the rest of our lives." He said making you raise a brow.
"What--"
He pulled out the ring and your eyes went huge, looking at him and then the ring.
"Fred..." You breathed.
"Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" He asked.
You looked at him almost the exact same way you did a year ago, the same shocked and vulnerable expression on your face as you held his hands.
"...Yes Fred!" You said before he slid the ring on your finger and kissed you.
He called his brothers-- all of them, telling them with no context to get their asses to the burrow.
They all did, now standing confused in the living room.
"Why are we here fred?" Bill asked, Fleur equally confused.
"I'm waiting on mum." Fred said as she finally walked down with Arthur.
"What's going on?" Ginny asked.
"I asked Y/n to marry me." Fred said.
"and I said yes." You said making everyone gasp.
Molly was a happy crying mess, hugging you saying she gained a new daughter.
Harry was happy that you weren't going anywhere along with Ron and Hermione.
Charlie was cracking a massive smile.
"This happened because of you Charlie." You said with a laugh.
"Finally! She gives me credit!" Charlie said making you laugh.
"welcome to the family Y/n." Arthur said with a smile.
A few months later you were married, the bar eventually making it's way into diagon Alley
You closed down the original location but made the second one equally comfortable.
Every night without fail, Fred would find his way to a seat at the bar and would watch you work.
Harry would occasionally visit with Ginny, you two being the first to know about their engagement.
"I've got the coolest in laws ever!" You'd say making Fred chuckle.
You would have days where the family would sit around after closing, telling you stories of hogwarts before the war as you sat in a chair with Fred, him holding you in his arms with a smile.
You wouldn't trade any of this for the world. Because this is where you belonged.
This was your home.
